The cold summer night was bitter. Arendelle was still covered in the unnatural snow. Everyone was taking shelter, keeping the fire lit. From a window, overlooking the castle's courtyard, Hiccup waited for Prince Hans to return with the Princess and Queen. Thinking about all he had learned. Since the Prince's departure, the young toy maker had asked nobles staying in the castle about the Prince. Adding to his mistrust of Hans. He looked over to the mountains where his farm was hidden. Where Toothless and the dragons are hiding. He missed his best friend. Hoping he was okay.
As his thought turned to their life back on Berk, torches on the bridge, lit the night. Hans had returned. Hiccup bolted up, walking towards the gate. A terrible feeling in his stomach. At the marble staircase, his eyes widen in horror. The Duke's guards were in chains and the queen being carried. "What happened?"
"Ah, Mister Haddock. Nothing went to plan." Hans answered and the toy maker scoffed.
"I can see that." he shot back. The Prince glared at the tone of disrespect. "How is the Queen?"
"She will be fine. But you may go home."
"What of Princess Anna?"
"Anna is still missing, but rest assured, I will find her." Hans promised, his smirk sending Hiccup a worse feeling. But he had to retreat from this fight. He was after all a commoner. Not a noble. The castle doors closed behind him. The cold winds fueled the mistrust. The volunteers were leaving the courtyard for their families. He, on the other hand, went to the Chapel. Taking out his custom hook, he thanked Thor that he wanted to be prepared for the worst.
Extending the three points out, releasing the rope, he spun the hook around. Swinging it up over the roof. The first try dragged snow down. He tried again. When he pulled it back, it secured onto some leverage. Looking around, he saw no one. No guards, no servants. The toy maker climbed up the rope making it to the snow roof. He crawled through the snow, the cold making his skin crawl. But he marched through. Making it to a window. He opened it to find it emptied.
Taking some breaths, he collected the hook and rope. If a stray guard finds this, then his plan would backfire big time. He hurried down the halls. Making his way to the Council Chambers. Well, the hallway connecting to the chamber. He wants to know more about what is going on. What Hans wasn't sharing with Arendelle.

The Prince lay down in the guest room bed. He was exhausted from the journey and the endless arguing with the other nobility. But they were among his keys to rule Arendelle. If he were to take over, he'd need them. First, he needs to get rid of Queen Elsa. The problem is her loyalty to the nobility. They want her to bring back summer. He'll lose a card, but it seems that is the easiest option. Aside from killing her. As he plotted, a servant knocked on the door. Getting up, he opened the door. "The Council wants to talk to you." Sighing, Hans followed the servant to the council. Time to play his part and fool these nobles.

Trailing behind, Kai, a servant, and a hurt Princess Anna. Hiccup wondered what happened out there. They took her to a room. Muffled whispers echo the halls. Hiding behind suits of armor, he spotted the servants and most of the nobles walking out. They didn't see him as they passed. Inching closer, he tried to listen to Princess Anna. Hoping to know what happened. "A true love's kiss." Prince Hans said. A moment of silence followed before the truth was revealed. "Oh, Anna. If only there was someone who loves you." Hans said. At that Hiccup put his hand in his coat, grabbing Inferno's handle.
"You said you did." Anna said.
"As thirteenth in line in my kingdom, I didn't stand a chance, I knew I had to marry into the throne somewhere. As heir, Elsa was preferable of course. But no one was getting anywhere with her." Hans said. Hiccup cursed silently, knowing that his gut was right. "But you, you were so desperate for love, you were ready to marry me just like that. I figure after we married, I'll have to stag a little accident for Elsa." That was enough to hear. Putting Inferno out, the young man opened the door, surprising both nobles.
"Princess Anna, do you have enough strength to walk?" he asked. Anna tried to walk, but Hans pushed back onto the couch.
"What do you plan to do? Arrest me? Who would believe a peasant over a heroic prince?" the Prince asked, unsheathing his sword. "Anna will die and you will be charged with treason."
"Yeah, that's not happening." Hiccup said, igniting his sword. The Prince was caught off guard by the unique sword. "Princess, let's go."
The Princess weakly stumbled towards the toy maker. Falling into his arms, he held her up on her feet. Leading her out of the room, he locked the traitorous Prince inside the room. The two made their way to the kingdom's Council. The concerned nobles helped the Princess to a chair. "My lady, what happened?" the Duke of Weselton asked.
"Hans tried to kill Princess Anna and conspired to kill Queen Elsa." Hiccup said. The nobles looked at him as if he was made.
"Nonsense, Prince Hans." Before the Duke could finish, Anna cut him off.
"It's true." the Princess said. The young man turned to Kai.
"Where did Hans take the Queen?" he whispered to the servant.
"Dungeons." Kai answered.
Hiccup rushed out of the door. Making his way to the lowest levels of the castle. As he rushed down the staircase, he felt the air grow cold. Running down, he found ice forming around the bricks. Grabbing Inferno, he ignited the flames. An attempt to keep himself warm. Checking each door, he found nothing until he reached the only one frozen shut. Sticking the fiery sword into the edges. The heat melted the ice around the lock. Pulling it out, he unlocked it, and pushed forward, breaking the ice on the hinges. Revealing a broken cell covered in ice and snow. There was little choice. He ran into the storm.

Walking through the snow, Kristoff thought of Anna. He was worried about her. It didn't seem like she would make it. Never in his life did he think that he would care for an annoying, naive, royal. As he thought of her, Sven rushed up ahead of the human. Making several grunts. "What is it, buddy?" The reindeer pushed forward, annoying the man. "Hey watch it. What's wrong with you?" the reindeer made several untranslatable grunts. "I don't understand you when you talk like that?"
As the man tried to walk around his friend, Sven grabbed him by the antlers. "Stop it. Put me down." the man ordered. The friend dropped the human onto the cold snow. The reindeer grunted again. "No. Sven, we're not going back. She's with her true love." Even the reindeer knew the truth. As the man sighed, the cold wind picked up. Looking back, he saw a magic storm brewing. "Anna." Without hesitation, he rushed down the hill. Climbing onto Sven, the two picked up speed. Racing for the Princess.

Curling into a ball, the servants and nobles tried to keep the fireplace alive. Trying to keep her alive. She was such a fool. Hans never loved her. Now there was no hope for her. Her heart will freeze. Ending her life. Hearing the crackling of ice, she looked up to see ice forming on the wooden ceiling. Before she knew it, most of the servants exited the room, except for Kai. He kneeled down to her. "Princess, we're going to go help Mister Haddock find the Queen." he said, putting a few more logs onto the fire. "Be safe." his final words before leaving her. She stared at the fire, wondering how long she could survive.
When the door opened, she expected to see another servant. But to her delightful surprise, Olaf greeted her. His gleeful face turned to concern, seeing her. "Anna." he said, rushing over to here. Soon he was memorized by the fire. "Wow."
"Olaf, get away from there."
"So this is heat." the snowman said, sticking his wooden hands towards the flame. "I love it." A spark caught his little hand on fire. "Olaf, don't touch it." he warned, waving his hand. He looked around for a few moments. "So where's Hans? What happened to your kiss?"
"I was wrong about him. Wasn't true love." she said, defeated.
"But we ran all the way here."
"Please, Olaf, you can't stay here. You'll melt." she warned.
But the snowman shook his head.
"I am not leaving here until we find some other act of true love to save you." he said, sitting next to her. "Do you happen to have any ideas?"
"I don't even know what love is."
"That's okay. I do." he said helping with her covers. "Love is, putting someone else's needs before yours. Like you know, how Kristoff brought you back here to Hans and left you forever."
Those words surprised the princess. "Kristoff loves me?" The snowman looked bewildered.
"Wow, you really don't know anything about love." he said as the side of his face started to flop down. "Do you?"
"Olaf, you're melting."
"Some people are worth melting for." the little snowman said, smiling at her. He held up his face as water dripped down. "Maybe not right this second."

Walking through the blizzarding snow, Hiccup held Inferno close. The warmth of the flame did little against the harsh winds. Climbing over the deck of the ship, he thought of Toothless. It has been days since he was with his friend. The dragon undoubtedly was worried for the rider. And in turn, the rider was worried for the dragon. But for now, he was crawling through the storm. Feeling the wind pierce his exposed skin. As he climbed down a ship's desk, he saw a familiar shadow. The lad rush forward hugging Toothless.
"You alright bud?" Hiccup asked. The Night Fury moaned and the rider smirked. "I'm okay bud." he added before hugging the dragon again. Looking around he could barely see anything. "I need your help bud."

Running through the storm Else was frightened. She didn't know what was going to happen. Hearing the footsteps scared her. Fearing that death had awaited her. She ran into a blizzard, caused by her power. The thick snow blocked her vision. All she knew was that she was on the frozen harbor. Rushing past a ship frozen beneath the ice, she heard a strange, piercing sound. Looking around, she feared the worst. Spinning around, she saw a figure emerging from the snow. A bright flame illuminated them. To her surprise, it was Hiccup. Holding a flaming sword. At first, she was terrified. Thinking that he was here to kill her. She felt her power grow around her hands. Ready to defend herself.
"Queen Elsa." Hiccup yelled out. The burning sword retracted into the handle as he walked closer. "Are you alright?" he wasn't concerned for himself. Puzzling her.
"Go away. I don't want to hurt anyone." she said, backing away. But for every step she took. he walked closer.
"Your sister needs you. She's dying." Those words hurt the queen deeply. With sorrow, she fell to her knees. The storm calmed as she cried. The toy maker rushed to her side. But she pushed him away.
"Elsa, you've pushed everyone away for so long. You feared your powers. I know what that feels like. It'll tear you apart. But now you can show the world who you are." he said, hugging her. He didn't fear her. "Your sister needs you."
Helping her up, Elsa could only think of her sister. He guided her to the castle. Walking along through her home, many people eyed with fear and concern. But the toy maker kept to her side. When they reached the council chambers, she saw Anna lying next to the fireplace. Olaf comforting her.
"Anna." Elsa could only say, rushing to her sister's side. Her hair was white as snow. "I'm so sorry Anna." she said holding Anna's hands. The touch of her skin was cold as ice. The younger sister only smiled. Bringing herself closer to the queen, hugging her.
"It's alright Elsa. I'm alright." Anna said as the soft skin turned to hard ice. Elsa closed her eyes feeling as her sister turned to ice. Tears streaming down her face. She was alone. But as she cried, she went warmth of her sister. Opening her eyes, Anna was no longer frozen. "Anna." she cried.
"Elsa." Anna whispered as the two hugged tighter. "I love you."
Olaf gasped and said, "An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart." The sisters let go and looked at the snowman.
"Love." she whispered. Then it clicked in her head. "Of course."
Walking to the balcony, she looked at her frozen kingdom. Waving her hands, magic flowed throughout Arendelle. Thawing the snow. She could hear cheers coming from the kingdom. Having complete control of her powers. As soon as Olaf started to melt, she held him up, casting a cloud over him. Feeling peace for the first time in her life.
I am sorry for being gone for a while. I learned a dark secret, had a mental crisis, moved to a new town, and had a dozen other disasters in my life. But I hope to come back like before. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and keep following this story. Thank you and good day.
