"Talk"
'Thought'
Name: "Songs~"
"I do hope you enjoy your Meal, next please."
At some public kitchen and dining room, which was filled with a lot of homeless people and cooks, there was a specific adult man, late 20 or early 30, a rather plump fellow, who wore a brown butler uniform with a 'Pocket Watch' necklace, had very clean neat brown hair, and long pointed mustache, this was David Ogden Stiers, and was in the middle of feeding the Poor
"Now now, please do not rush, there's plenty for everyone, though-"
As David was trying to reassure and calm the crowd, the front entrance of the door was suddenly open, which made everyone turn their heads and see who was at the door
"The Priestess Of Darkness!"
"The Lady Of The Holy Shade!"
"The Sister Of The Black!"
"The Mother Of The Night!"
"The Grandmother Of Shadows!"
The person that stood by the door, which made everyone look at them with excitement and eagerness, was none other than Blake Belladonna, or Bureiku Beradon'na to those that don't know her real identity, she was also still accompanied by Circe, who felt the same as the public, but was more mature and restraint compared to them
"Please just call me Bureiku…"
Blake was both annoyed and very embarrassed to have all these famous names and title that were given to her by the public
'Why do they have to add Grandma, I'm not that old right?...'
Blake couldn't help but feel her age at the moment, while also trying her best to not be overwhelmed with everyone trying to get close to her, to either talk, praise, or just simply admire her presence and beauty, though while she did her best to not show it and calmly just dealt with everyone, Ogden Stiers was able to see his Lady in slight discomfort, and this was enough to make him take action, he quickly opens his 'Pocket Watch', which the hands started to spin around rapidly, and less than a second later, he was already standing before the Priestess Of Darkness got in the way of the crowd of people
"Please show a little restraint and do not disturb my Mistress while on duty, she is not a museum to watch and admire like modern art, now shoo."
After defending his Mistress and shooing the away the crowd, who felt embarrassed and ashamed to have waste the time of such an important person, everything went back to normal ish, people were still amazed to have someone as great as Bureiku Beradon'na near them, but they showed restrain this time and made sure not to get in her way, which was better than nothing for the Cat Faunus
"Thank you David."
Blake meant it to, it would've been to exhausting to come up with a good reason instead of just saying 'Leave me alone', these moments always made her wish to quit the whole thing and live a more peaceful lifestyle
'Wait, why did I even agree to become a Priestess?...'
Though before Blake could start thinking about her life choices, her train of thoughts were interrupted by her butler bowing and accepting her thankfulness
"I was only doing what was needed as your loyal servant, Milady."
David loyalty was different compared to Circe, who admired her, and Jerry, who saw her beauty, the reason for him was because he just simply wanted to, he saw Bureiku Beradon'na as someone who deserved his respect and was worthy to follow until his dying breath, as both the one who brought them the Sword of Sparda and blessed them with Aura.
"Please, you know my name so I would rather you use that instead."
Of course Blake also respected David, just the same as her other Nyx Knights, though still desired to be treated equally and not anyone special
"Impossible Milady, someone as high ranking compared to a lowly one should never talk to you in such a disrespectful way, especially in public."
David also seemed to also be the most serious servant out of them, which is something that the Rose Of Elysium found inspirational and tried to learn from example, which includes how he showed himself, standing up straight and mimic his handling of himself
"He is right, you know, someone as great as you should be treated as such, anything less would be an insult to what you accomplished, Milady."
The Priestess Of Darkness just sigh in defeat as soon as Circe joined in Ogden Stiers 'Milady', chalking this up as 'Another Failed Attempt To Be Treated Normally', so she just decided to ignore it for the day and just look around the public diner for the homeless
"No doubt my Daughter is responsible for todays 'Public Cooking', as perusal."
Blake wasn't all that surprised to see all of this, she has lived here long enough to be familiar with all of this
"It's to be expected, Kyrie has a heart of gold and sincerity, I would not be surprised if she wanted to help the entire world from suffering, if she was given the option."
David, as well as the Youngest Nyx, were very aware of the kindness that came from the adoptive daughter of Beradon'na, Kyrie, being well known to do a lot of charitable acts, like helping out in the orphanage, comforting the unwell, or even doing what was happening right now with feeding the homeless and all that
"Though, I can't help but wonder where she is, I would assume she would be by you and help you cook?"
Before the Butler of Blake could answer her question, the all the lights went dim, except for one, which shined at the small stage, which made everyone look and realize who was on said stage
Kyrie: "Ave Sparda~"
Standing alone on the stage, as soft music played in the background, a young woman, who wore a white dress, have lovely tied up hair, and was holding a obsidian bead necklace, that seemed to be made by hand, and it had a special purple flower like symbol that sheheld close to her heart, this was Kyrie Belladonna, or Beradon'na, one of the three children of the Priestess Of Darkness
Kyrie: "Patrona heroum, eos qui nostrae sanctae perferunt tenebras~"
And said Daughter Of Belladonna(Beradon'na), was in the middle of singing a opera with such a lovely and captivating voice, which could not be ignored and made everyone in the room, and even a few passing by outside, listen to what she had say
Kyrie: "Hail Sparda~"
As she continues to sing, everyone couldn't help but be put in some kind of trance of pure bliss and peace, as if being put under some calming magic spell
Kyrie: "Patron of the heroes, slay those who bring darkness to our Holy Land~"
Though despite being put under under a warm blanket of music and feeling, everyone had a different reaction to her song
Kyrie: "Beatus es inter milites, et beatus qui te sequitur, Sparda~"
The Citizens were easily effected to this the most, most already breaking down and crying softly, though not out of sadness, but as if being reminded how they were alive and it's something they should be grateful for
Kyrie: "Blessed are you among the knights, and blessed is he who follow you, Sparda~"
Both David and Circe, while being in more control compared to the citizens, still couldn't help but let out tears, both with the same warm yet different reasons
Kyrie: "Sancte Sparda, Custos mundi~"
Ogden Stiers just felt lucky to live in a time to being able to witness these kinds of beauty
Kyrie: "Pugnemus contra Malos peccatores~"
As for the Young Lansbury, she just felt blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people
Kyrie: "Holy Sparda, Guardian of our World~"
Blake Belladonna on the other hand, even though she seemed to show her composer and not even get misty eyes, she was actually affected more than what some might realize
Kyrie: "Let us sinners join the fight against Evil~"
Not only does Blake felt proud to see her Daughter do what she is doing, being able to touch the heart of everyone with her opera sounds, but she herself felt warmth and comfort from her child, as if all the problems she has was just washed away in a wave by such an angelic voice
Kyrie: "Nunc et in hora, in hora mortis nostrae~"
The Priestess Of Darkness smiles softly, even if she has many regrets of all the actions she has ever made, adopting and raising someone like her will always make some of her choices worth it
Kyrie: "Now and at the hour of our death~"
Everyone was just at peace, even the living shadow 'Boon' couldn't help but admire and listen closely to the healing song, so calm and soothing
Kyrie: "Amen~"
After singing the last word, she had her hands in a praying position as the lights turn on and the music started to slow down to a complete stop
"Amen."
After Kyrie officially finished her opera song, all the citizens in the room and outside started to cheer and clap loudly, all the while saying stuff like 'The Voice Who Rival The Heavens!' or 'As expected from the Daughter of Bureiku, among other things, even the two Royal Knights Of Nyx were joining in the clapping, though as the Motherly Faunus herself, all she did was starting to walk up to her daughter, to which she noticed and smile happily to see her here
"Good evening Mother, I'm glad to see you here, can I assume that you were able to witness my performance?"
Even though Kyrie spoke to Bureiku Beradon'na with a respectful tone like the others, she didn't mind it that much since she knows that her daughter only acts like this in the public crowd and not when in private, which was something she learned to bear and not feel too bothered by
"I have, and what a beautiful spectacle that was, it was definity something that could rival my own voice, maybe even surpass it?"
The compliment that Blake gave to her child was enough to make her daughter blush lightly in embarrassment, but still kept her posture and jus bow lightly in thanks
"I don't deserve such praise."
A hand was placed on Kyrie shoulder, which made her lift up her head and saw her mother's warm and encouraging smile
"You do deserve it, in fact, I think you deserved more than that, what are your thoughts on joining me in tomorrow's ceremony?"
As soon as Blake offered such a thing, not only did the Daughter Of Belladonna(Beradon'na) let out a gasp of shock, but both Ogden Stiers and Young Lansbury couldn't help but also go wide eyes in surprised, and as for the crowd, they just began to whisper with one another, questioning the sudden decision that the Priestess Of Darkness was making out of the blue
"Y-You surely jest mother-"
"I would never make such a statement lightly, Kyrie."
Blake pulls the suddenly nervous and shy adoptive child in and held her close by the side
"I'm offering this opportunity more than just because of your lovely opera, I've seen how much effort you put into serving our fellow brothers and sisters, whether it be as simple as helping the elders crossing the street, or as great as both metaphorically and literally healing others with your heavenly songs."
Blake used her hand that wasn't holding 'Yamato', to pet her daughter's head, to show off both praise and affections, to which she enjoys such a motherly touch and love
"You do more than what any normal Priestess would do, and I wish to express my gratitude by letting you join me in something that is only reserved for the most pure and selfless, so I beg you, partake of this event with me."
Once explaining both the importance and how much it means for both Blake and her daughter, the Child Of Bureiku couldn't help but feel like she had no reasons or excuse to say no, not that it was a bad thing
"Well, if you think I'm worthy enough to be a part of your spotlight on stage, then I would be absolutely delighted to join you tomorrow."
Kyrie yes was rewarded by a soft nuzzle from her Mother, to which made her giggle and made the crowd and Nyx's go in awe from such a cute sight
"You're my Daughter, so you will always be worthy to be by my side."
After giving her a teasing kiss on the hard blushing cheeks, Blake let go of her child and started to walk off the small stage
"By the way, don't be late for tonight's dinner, I want the whole family to be there and I want no one to be missing that."
That was all Blake had to say as she walks up to the two Royal Knights Of Nyx's, to which David bows in goodbye while Circe was ready to follow the Priestess Of Darkness
"Don't worry, I won't~"
Kyrie waves byes to her Mother, all the while wearing a very bright happy smile, no doubt this visit and interaction brought her in a joyful mood, to which Belladonna noticed and couldn't help but feel warm to see her daughter in such high spirits… And a bit guilty for what she did and her hidden purpose of what she was doing
'You would make a far better Priestess for Fortuna, unlike an old selfish cat like me…'
Before Blake could dwell in such thoughts, her Youngest Knight spoke to her, which snapped her out of her thoughts
"Would you like to visit your next child, Milady?"
This was enough to make Blake clear her thoughts and held 'Yamato' close to her chest, she quickly looks at Circe with a small smile again
"Yes please."
The reason the lyrics are short is because its a opera type song, and if you know what that is, then you should also know they sing, which usually involves stretching each words and making it sound long, so yeah, sorry
(This song was made by Daemon, the inspiration was from Ave Marie, Charlotte Church, please check out that original songs~)
/Blake's Royal Guard Member #3\
David Ogden Stiers: Also known as the 'Timeless Butler', around the same age as Jerry, his reason for joining the Royal Knights Of Nyx is because of the strong Loyalty he has for her.
(His ability is a semblance that can control his own and others time, like speeding up or slowing down specific parts)
/Blake's Children #1\
Kyrie Belladonna or Kyrie Beradon'na: Also known as the "Heavenly Cantatrice", the adoptive daughter of Blake Belladonna.
(Due to having unlocked her semblance early, among being exposed to people like Blake, her power evolved passed being a normal 'Semblance', though for simplicity, her power is her 'Songs', which can do a lot, also she has a necklace, made by her mother, that has special enchantment)
