"Thank you Mrs. G!" Arin said with a smile as he leaned back in his chair and patted his stomach.

"That was really good." Sora said with her own smile. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Chantel smiled as she started to clear the table, Arin jumped up.

"Mrs. G, let me help you!" He offered, taking the plates from her.

"Hey pal, she's my mom! Go pamper yours!" Wu told him hotly.

"Wu Garmadon!" Chantel turns to him with her hands on her hips. "That is no way to treat our guests! Now apologize!"

Wu folds his arms tightly and turns to the side.

"Like father like son." Raya said, playfully poking Wu, who pushed her hand away. He turned to her.

"But I will apologize to you, Raya." He told her. "I'm sorry for kicking you."

"It's alright, Brat number 3." She ruffled his hair, making him grin and tried to swat at her hand.

"Wait a minute." He looked up at her with a frown. "My dad was the first brat. Why are you second? I'm his son! His blood. So shouldn't I be number 2?"

"I was also a brat if I recall." Raya said with a grin. "Not following Master Wu's rules, or the other rules." Her lower lip trembled as she turns to Chantal. "I would give anything to have that back." Twin tears slide down her cheeks.

Chantal walked up to her. "Don't." She said firmly, but gently. "Raya Leah Smith, you will not talk like that in front of me or him." She points at her son.

Raya blinks, startled. "I haven't hear anybody say my full name like that. It's been years."

Chantal turns to the other kids. "Let's all head to the back, to the living room."

Everyone now sat in the small, but comfy living room. "So, Mrs. Garmadon." Sora started as she sat on the carpet floor. "What happened here? I mean The Merge happened, but." She trailed off.

"After The Merge, everything changed." Chantal began. "The whole city. Everyone panicked when the Ninja disappeared through that white light then the aftershock. I haven't seen Ninjago in so much panic since The Great Flood."

"The Great Flood?" Sora repeated, confused.

"I saw that on the news!" Arin exclaimed. "That crazy octopus guy flooded the whole city along with the nearby villages."

"That was scary." Raya said. "Dad had us go to grandma and grandpa's village when that serpentine water beast came into the city."

Chantal stood up from her chair, catching everyone's attention. "After the Ninja disappeared, the city went into chaos, like it did when that Two Faced, Everything Fake Quiet One."

"Chantal." Raya stood up. "Lloyd chose you. Aunty Nya said."-

"So I still hold a grudge."

"Who's that?" Wu asked confused, scratching his head.

"A Jade Princess who threatened your parents relationship." Raya answered. "I don't think I was born yet when the Ninja first met her."

"Then how do you know this 'Jade Princess'?" Sora asked, using air quotes.

"Because she came back from the dead when the Overlord attack, this time calling himself the Crystal King." Raya answered.

"I saw that on the news too!" Arin exclaimed. "My parents were so scared that they barricaded us in the house."

Wu's eyes were wide. "Wait,wait,wait!" He cried, jumping up, and walking up to his mother. "Mom?" He looked up at her."

Chantal looked down at her son. "I felt threatened by her." Her voice shook with emotion, she grabbed her son and held him tightly. "Your dad and I rekindled when her real colors were revealed, after that time we had you."

"Well, princess compared - ow!" Arin started, then cried out when Sora punched him in the arm.

"Not that I'm enjoying the flashbacks." She starts. "But may we please get back to the present?"

Chantal nods. "Yes." She pulls away from her son and wipes her tears. "Of course." She walks back to her chair and plops back down. "I don't know every single detail. But I know that curtain people in the city disappeared."

"Disappeared?" Raya repeated, then gasped. "Is that what happened to my mom?"

Chantal looked down at her lap as she played with her wedding ring. "I don't know." She admits.

"Mom." Wu turns to her. "Raya found The Noodle House."

Chantal looked up startled, looking at Raya. "You … found it?"

Raya swallowed hard. "I did." Her voice shook. "The ceiling was caved in, I couldn't get upstairs, I couldn't even find the secret door that dad put in!"

"Raya, I know your father! And he will do everything in his power to find your mother." Chantal said sternly.

"What about Eleanor, and Lily, and Dr. Borg, and PIXAL?" Raya asked. "Eleanor and Lily weren't at the Monastery when The Merge started."

Chantal shook her head. "I don't know."

"Dareth? Vinny? Gayle Gossip?" Raya pressed. "What about Cole's dad?"

"I don't know Raya!" Chantal's voice shook. "I don't know where everyone is." Her voice swam with emotion. "Ever since The Merge, I had no courage and heart to go back to the Monastery." She then whispered. "I can't."

Wu quickly stood up and hugged his mother from the side, and she clung to him.

Later. A light turned on showing a small crowded and messy bedroom. "Since we're both boys." Wu started with a smile as he and Arin now stood in Wu's bedroom.

Arin smiled a little. "Cool. Thanks."

Wu turns to him. "I'm sorry I snapped at you." He finally apologized. "A lot of people disappeared."

Arin turned away. "My parents are among those who vanished without a trace." He said sadly.

Wu opened his mouth, then closed it a few times. "Oh." He rubbed the back of his head. "I'm still sorry."

Arin smiles a little. "Thanks." He turns to look at the blonde.

"You can pick a space and I'll clean it up." Wu offers.

Arin nods again. "Thank you.

Wu sniffs. "Whoa!" He makes a face. "What's that smell?"

"Uh … I think I farted." Arin tried to answer, knowing it was Lloyd's mask. "You know, from one of those silent and deadly farts."

It was now a few months later. Raya stood in front of Borg Tower, looking up at the tallest building. The teenager squared her shoulders and headed for the entrance.

Once inside, she headed she walked past the front desk and up to the elevators, and pitting the up button. Two shadows soon came up behind her and a hand grabbed her shoulder.

"Hey kid, where are you going?"

Raya is turned around to see two Security Guards looking at her.

"I'm going up to see Dr. Borg." She answered simply.

"I don't think so kid."

"It's ok." Raya smiled. "The good Doctor's a friend! He knows my dad."

"You still can't go up there."

Raya frowned. "But I'm apart of the Ninja!" She told them. "Look. Just call the good doctor, tell him I'm in his lobby." She folds her arms. "He'll be happy to help me."

The Security look at each other, then look back at Raya. "Sorry kid. You're not going up."

She growled. "Yeah?" She challenged and folds her arms. "Until you call Doctor Cyrus Borg, I'm not leaving!" She sits down in front of the elevator, Indian style.

Sora and Arin walk through the new Crossroads. "Yes! The SA Mark 01 is gonna crush in the Mech Master 5000!" Sora cheers.

"Tomorrow's race is the biggest prize pot of all time." Arin smiled. "If we win."-

"Hey!" Raya's yell, interrupted and the two turn and hurry down a sidewalk and saw two Security Guards walking out of Borg Tower, holding Raya in between them as they have her held up off the ground.

"You're making a big mistake!" Raya cried, kicking her legs, she gave up. "Ok, I get it!" She yelled when they got to the sidewalk. "Put me down!"

The two guards set her down on the sidewalk, then headed back to Borg Tower.

"You're making a mistake!" Raya yelled, turning around to yell at the two guard. "You're going to be sorry that you messed with the Ninja!" Hearing whispers around her, she turns around. "What the hell are you all are looking at!?" She demands hotly. "Mind your own damn business!"

Arin walks over to her. "You ok?" He asks.

"I."- Raya didn't get to finish as suddenly the ground shakes violently, and everyone stumbles around and fall to the ground before it stops.

"Another earthquake?" Sora asks after she sighs as Arin helps Raya stand.

"They never happened all before the Merge." Arin replied, he turned to the girls. "Do you guys ever wonder if there's a greater purpose for all this? Like, a reason for the Merge?"

"Master Wu always said that there was a reason for everything." Raya answered.

"Guys." Sora walked up to both of them. "The Merge might have taken away everything you had. But it's given me everything I have." She turns to look around the city. "But it's given me everything I have. Change can be scary, but it's also a chance for something better."

Later. Young Wu Garmadon smiled as he zigzagged through the Mechs line. He smiled when he heard familiar voices.

"Ha! They'll let anyone into these races, won't they?"

"At least we build our own gear, Kreel. We don't need a team of servants doing the work for us."

Wu moved closer to the voices, but stayed out of sight thanks to the Mechs.

"They aren't servants! They're friend-ish people who work for me. They're here to cheer when I crush you! Like last time. And the time before, and, checks notes." The girl named Kreel then gasps dramatically. "Every single time. You kids don't learn."

"Oh, we learn." Arin told her. "But we just don't give up."

"And I might've designed a bit of an upgrade since the last race." Sora added as she operates the Mech, an it rises to full height. "Come on Arin. Let's get our fuel couplings attached while Kreel contemplates her impending loss."

Wu snickers quietly behind the Mech he's hiding behind, as Kreel laughs, but she turns to a Whack Rat, grabbing the front of his shirt.

"But just in case, loosen their cooling cable while they're gone." She whispered, not knowing Wu was standing close he could hear. "When they hit their turboboost, their engine will overheat and explode." She laughs.

"Why that cheater!" Wu whispered. "That low life."

"Wu!" Chantal's voice calls from somewhere. "Where are you?"

Wu sneaks away from Kreel and hurries towards Arin and Sora. "Arin! Good I caught you in time!"

"Sorry buddy, but the race is about to start." He apologizes, before jumping up into the Mech.

"Hey kid! Get off the race course!" A man's voice yelled.

"Sora, I gotta tell you about something!" Wu insisted.

"I can't hear you."

A Security Guard jogs over to Wu, grabs his arm. "Come on kid, you're holding up the race!" He said as he dragged the blonde away.

"But my friends!" Wu argued. "They're Mech."- He trails off as he's pulled behind the barricades and back onto the sidewalk.

"Wu!" Chantal calls, she hurries over to them.

"Ma'am is this your son?"

"Of course he's my son!" Chantal answered hotly, grabbing Wu and pulling him to her. "How dare you?! I want your badge number!"

"Mom!" Wu grabbed her arm and shook it. "Mom!" He looks up at her again.

"What is it Wu?" She asks, looking down at him.

"Sora and Arin need help! There Mech was tampered with."

"You saw this, young man?" The security guard questioned.

Wu looked at him. "Yes." He nods. "Yes I did."

The guard leans down to him. "And just how would you know unless you did it yourself?" He asked.

"How dare you!?" Chantal yells. "How dare you accuse my son!" She turns Wu around as she starts to walk away. "I'm reporting you!"

"But."-

Chantal pushes her son through the large crowd. "Wu, go find Raya." She told him. "She'll be able to help much faster then we can."

"Where am I going to find you at?"

"I'm going to the Monastery." She answered. "If there's any hope in locating your father and the Ninja. That's the best start."

Wu stops and full turns to look up at her. "But you said it never felt like home after The Merge." He said with a frown.

"I know." She nods. "But I have to try."

Wu nods. "Ok. Raya knows where it is, so after the race we can meet you there."

Chantal smiles down at him. "I love you son."

He smiled. "Love you too, mom." He hugs her, then pulls away and hurries to disappear into the crowd.

Raya stood in the crowd, smiling as she munches down on a hot dog.

"Raya!" Wu hurries up to her. "Raya!"

She turns to him. "Hey, Little Wu." She whips the katsup off her mouth. "What."- She didn't get to finish as a metal board suddenly flies up from the ground, hitting Kreels's Mech. Sora's Mech screeches to a stop as a baby dragon is now in front of it.

"Whoa!" Raya's eyes grow, her eyes on the baby dragon. "A dragon!"

"A real dragon." Wu added, just before creatures in hover cars race towards the baby dragon, who takes off.

"Come on!" The daughter of the Fire Ninja ran after the dragon. "After that dragon!"

"Raya! Wait for me!" Wu ran after her.

A distance away. The enemy hits the baby dragon with a blast, knocking him down, and the enemy flies towards the creature.

"No need to tell Rai about this minor slip up, understood?"

Suddenly a red tornado flew in and Raya came out, standing in front of the baby dragon protectively. "Don't even think about hurting him, goggle head!" She told Rapton, who snarled, she turns her attention to the baby dragon. "Aww, aren't you so cute!" She coos, petting the dragon, who coos in return.

Young Wu arrives, breathing heavily. "Wow." He breathed, bent over with his hands on his knees as he continued to heavily breath. "For being the Green Ninja's son, I'm very bad at my job." He tried to joke.

Sora and Arin arrive in the Mech. "Raya!" Sora called. "Wu!"

"Hop on!" Arin added.

"Don't have to tell me." Wu breathed, sweat rolling off him. The baby dragon leans up, putting it's teeth on Wu's sleeve before he quickly hops up onto the Mech, Raya quickly hops up.

"Go, go, go!" Raya yelled, and the Mech takes off.

"What?" Rapton demanded. "Who are these kids? Get them!"

As the Mech hurries off down the street, the enemy is giving chase. "Uh, looks like we're in another race." Arin said nervously.

"Get the baby to safety!" Raya told her friends. "I'll take care of the losers."

"Raya, you don't have your dad's fire!" Wu protested.

"I don't need them!" Raya jumps off the Mech, flipping into the air to do Spinjitzu. Taking out some Hunters in the process.

Suddenly the Mech goes out of control and fall off the bridge. Raya comes out of her Spinjitzu and runs to the side. "No!" She cried, looking down.

"Uh, did one of us make that thing explode?" Rapton asked, turning to his Hunters. He clears his throat. "I'm sure it was, right?"

"Uh."

"Dragon's are resilient." Rapton continued. "Our target will survive. Those kids, not so much, let's get down there and drag the lizard off the pavement." He pauses. "Starting with her!" He points at Sora. "Seize her!"

Raya drops into a fighting stance and starts to fight them, until she gets overwhelmed and is soon captured.

Suddenly Arin, and Sora's newly resembled Mech arrives, shocking everyone.

"That's different than it was before, right?" A Hunter asks Rapton.

"Yeah!" Raya cheers as the Mech fly upwards. "Nice one guys!"

Arin leaps off the Mech. "Self trained wannabe Ninja without a Master, go!" He spins, only to be hit by a blaster.

"Arin!" Raya cried, elbowing the two Hunters who were restraining her and she hurries over to him. "What was that?"

"Uh."-

Suddenly a new enemy arrives with a shockwave, sending everyone flying. Rapton turns around.

"Lord Ras! We were just about to." He gasped when the newest arrival grabs his throat and lifts him out of his hover car.

"You failed me. I do not like that." He drops Rapton.

"Uh." Arin turns to Sora. "Do you know who this guy is?" He asks.

"He doesn't seem very nice." He attempts to attack with Spinjitzu, but Was catches his leg. "What? How'd you." He doesn't get a chance as he's slammed onto the ground, knocking him out.

"Arin!" Sora cried.

"The fun is over pal!" Raya leaps into the air, turning into a red tornado, coming down at at him, but Ras blasts her with a weapon, knocking her down and out, the baby dragon runs over to her and gently nudges her with his nose. Ras then destroys the Mech, before shooting the baby dragon, who falls on top of Raya.

"You are just the first." Ras told the baby dragon. "I'm going to hunt down your entire family, wherever they are." He soon notices a crack in the sky, then turns to Rapton "Put the prisoners on the train. Quickly!" He moves to Rapton. "I trust you won't have anymore problems."

"Yes, Lord Ras." Rapton said. "I mean, no, Lord Ras!"

Now on the train. Arin, Sora, Raya and Wu are sitting with their backs leaned on the wall, as all four are handcuffed.

"What do you think they'll do to us?" Arin asked.

"They're going to hurt that baby more then us." Raya said as she tried to use a drew to unlock her cuffs. "Come on, these are not Vengestone cuffs!" She complained.

"What did you expect Raya." Arin asked her. "You don't have your dad's powers."

Raya stuck her tongue out at him, then went back to what she was doing.

Sora is currently looking off into the distance. "The Claws of the Imperium come from Imperium. Same as me. And Imperium runs entirely on dragon power. With all those merged realms, I'm sure they'll be hunting dragons everywhere now."

Raya tugs harder on her cuffs. "We gotta get outta here!"

"I thought they say dragon power is safe." Arin said.

"Safe for who?" Sora questioned, looking at him. "You saw the look in that dragon's eyes. It wanted to be free. Just like I did."

Wu looks at Raya. "Raya. Am I ever going to see my mom again?"

"I am going to make damn sure that you get to see her." The red head said as she continued to try to unlock her cuffs. "Agh! Forget it!" She threw the screw.

"Guys. We can't give up hope!" Arin told them. "If we lose hope that the Ninja could come back, then I lose hope my parents could come back. Hope is the only thing the Merge didn't take from me."

Raya nods. "Yeah." She smiles. "You're right Arin. We can't lose hope that my dad and the other Ninja will come back and take back our home. They did it before. And they sure as hell can do it again!"

Suddenly they hear shouting on the train roof, and a metal grate on the roof opens. Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon emerged.

Raya's eyes nearly bug out of her head. "The First Spinjitzu Master."

Lloyd looks towards Arin. "I think that mask belong to me."
