Yes, Chantal is still a lawyer. I came across this song a few years ago and I love it. I think it fits well with Raya right now.

A loud deep burp is heard outside of the Monastery.
"Wu!" Chantal scolded, turning from the stove while the team, minus Raya sat in the kitchen. "Young man, what have I told you about manners?"
Wu's eyes are huge as he looked at his mother. "It wasn't me!" He cried, shaking his head.
"Nope." Lloyd smiled, as he's relaxed and leaning backwards in his chair. "That was all me."
Both Arin and Sora tried to hide smiles at the look on Chantal's face.
"You're lucky Cole's not here, Lloyd." She told him.
"Why?" Sora asked.
Chantal placed a juicy steak on a plate, she turned and set it down on the floor. "All yours Riyu." She smiled as she petted him, the baby cooed before digging in.
"Cole would've taken that as a challenge." Lloyd answered.
"Yes." Chantal nods. "Now it's time for relaxation time before bed." She said in a motherly way.
"Great!" Wu smiled, jumping up and making a break for the doorway. "I'll just."-
"Wu!" Chantal snapped, and he slid to a stumbling stop.
"Yes?"
"You better not be hiding a stash of candy, young man." She walked up to him, placing her hands on her hips as she gave him a look.
Wu's jaw dropped. "Mom, would I hide candy?" He asked innocently.
She continued to give him a look. "Yes." She answered flatly, while behind her Lloyd smirked.
"I, uh, I." Wu hesitantly stuttered.
"Do not make me check your room, again."
Sora smiled as she watched the exchange, she found it weird at first when first meeting her, her own mother did not have that love, not at all. Sora found herself liking Chantal.
"Everybody out of the kitchen!" Chantal ordered. "Early and big day tomorrow!"
"Right." Arin jumped to his feet. "Good night Mrs. G!" He took off out of the kitchen, Riyu ran after him.
"Thank you for dinner, Mrs. G." Sora thanked.
"Sora, I've told you kids to call me Chantal." Chantal told her gently.
The pink haired teen smiled with a nod. "I can do that." She turned. "Good night." She left the kitchen.
"Lloyd." Chantal grabbed his arm, stopping him from following. He frowned looking at her with worry.
"What's wrong?"
"Do you have any idea where Kai is right now?" She asked with worry. "What about Skylor?"
Lloyd turns to her fully. "No." He answered with a sigh. "I wish I knew."
"You need to talk to her." Chantal pulled him to a window, then used her free hand to point outside. "She hasn't had a meal with us, if you haven't noticed. I bring her a plate of food while everyone is doing their own thing."
Lloyd sighed as he ran both his hands through his hair.

Outside the Monastery, Raya stood on the steps not that far from the front gates. She sat down and and looked at the pictures in her hands. One picture is of Kai and Skylor as they sat inside Laughy's Karaoke Club. In the picture Kai is holding Skylor in his arms as she laughed at something, while in the background Cole is in the middle of holding a piece of cake, about to take a big bite out of it.
Lloyd comes up next to Raya and sat down next to her. "I said I would find your mom." He started. "But that was minutes away from the Merge sucking all of us into the heart of it."
Raya wipes her tears. "I guess we can't blame your dad on this one, huh?"
Lloyd placed his hand on her back. "Sweetheart, I know you blame me. And it's ok that you do! Your dad is my best friend, I miss them just as much you miss them."
"I don't want to do this anymore Lloyd."
He blinked. "What? Master Wu's number one rule. Ninja Never Quiet."
"He's not here anymore!" The red head snapped, standing up. "And I never said I was a Ninja." She started to leave down the steps.
"Raya!" Lloyd jumps to his feet. "Raya, where are you going!?"
"To find my family!" She yelled. "You're not doing your job, Green Ninja!" With that she ran off.
"Raya!" Lloyd yells after her. He ran after her. "Raya!"

Raya sat alone in a park, being careful to not draw attention as sat under a tree with her knees pulled up to her chest as she hugged her legs with tears.

Raya moved along the park, looking up at the night sky, remembering she use to sit on Kai's shoulder as he walked through ether the Monastery, or just around the city.

Raya even remembers when she was still young and she dropped her ice cream and start crying, Kai would quickly comfort her then would buy her a new cone.
