Young Wu looked outside from his window in his bedroom inside the Monastery Of Spinjitzu. The son of the Green Ninja sighed.

Chantal walked into the room. "Young man, do you realize what you could've done?" She asked. "You could've been hurt! Or taken by one of the enemies from the Ninja!" She scolded.

"I." Wu started, then trailed off as he turned from the window and walked up to his bed, sitting down. "I just wanted to see the shack one more time before you let Kai burn it down." He admits, looking down at his lap.

Chantal looked down for a moment, then moved over to the bed, sitting next to her son. "Why didn't you ask to go there, instead of just disappearing like that? I thought something happened to you. You can't just disappear like that! Especially with what's going on right now!"

"I … I'm sorry." Wu cried, tears sliding down his cheeks. "I thought you wouldn't notice. I thought I could come back before you noticed."

Chantal wrapped her arm around her son. "You were born in a safer world. A world that had regular criminals, thugs and just weird bad guys that your dad and the other Ninja fought against, some of those weird bad guys they know pretty well."

"Like the thug criminal named Ronin?"

"How do you know about Ronin?"

"I've heard Kai complain about him, and Nya too."

Chantal nods. "Yeah. He is one of them."

"Do you." Wu trailed off for a moment. "Have to tell dad?"

"I should." Chantal agreed. "But, I think you being grounded until your father comes back home should weigh on you and you tell him yourself." She stood up.

"Mama, was I suppose to be raised in this world?"

Chantal stopped, and turned back around. "No!" She walked back over to the bed and sat down next to him. "Nobody knows why the Merge happened. Your dad wanted you to be raised with us and your Great Uncle Wu. Your dad admired him greatly."

"According to Kai, it sounds like Great Uncle was a great man."

"He was more than great." Chantal nods with a soft smile. "But you need to talk to your dad about Master Wu." She stood up. "Now. You, young man, stay inside this room. You're only allowed to leave your room to use the bathroom or for lunch, if your father is back before dinner, then you can come out."

Wu swallowed hard. "Yes ma'am."

Chantal walks out of her son's room, pulling the door closed with her. Rainn walked up to her.

"Is it me, or is the Monastery haunted?" She asks with worry.

"Jay really has rubbed off on you." Chantal laughed. "The Monastery is fine! It's just old." She started down the hallway, Rainn hurried after her. "Why do you think otherwise?"

"Because, A: The electricity went out and 2: The power goes completely out." Rainn followed her friend. "And now I can't find Kai or Raya. Once minute they were in the game room before the power goes out, then when it comes back, they're gone! And get this! They were playing Lava Zombies,"

"Ok." Chantal agreed, turning to her. "That is strange. How do you know what game they were playing?"

"When the power came back on, I heard the game and plus I didn't hear Kai and Raya arguing or talking."

Chantal frowned. "Despite the Merge, Kai won't change at all."

"Unless something happens or happened to Skylor."

"That." Chantal's frown deepened. "If Kai doesn't find Skylor or she doesn't find us. Then may the First Spinjitzu Master watch over us all."

Inside the mysterious Monastery. "You stayed in the Cloud Kingdom, Aunty." Raya said confused.

"Yeah, how'd you get under the Monastery?" Kai asked, baffled and confused as well as his right hand stayed lit with fire.

"For the last time." Nya said. "I'm not under the monastery. I'm under the Cloud Kingdom, which is exactly where you should not be." She stares at her brother, then looks at her niece. "Either of you."

"Uh, no, that can't be right. I was just playing video games and."-

"Big shock." His sister cut him off with her arms folded.

"Hey. Stopping MergeQuakes by myself isn't easy." Kai defended himself. "I needed some self-care."

"I was kicking dad's butt!" Raya grins. "And passing Cole's score!"

"Uh, no!" Kai turns to her. "I believe I was winning."

"I was! Your avatar got glitched."

"That was your avatar."

Nya put a hand on her head. Raya is definitely Kai's daughter. "It doesn't matter!" The water Ninja yelled. "Kai!"

He blinked. "Right." He turns to fully face her. "We heard some weird whispers, so we followed them."

"I heard weird whispers too." Nya said. "In the Cloud Kingdom archives. Like they were calling out to me."

"But they were just gibberish." Kai continued, then did some gibberish. "Like that."

Nya gasps. "Mine too!"

"Then we saw this weird ghost." Kai tells. "A ghost thing that knew my name."

"Same!"

"Raya strongly believes Master Wu is dead and he's haunting us somehow." Kai comments.

"It does!" Raya cried, making Nya look at her. "The Merge killed him, and now his ghost."-

"Raya!" Nya cut her off, her hands on her hips. "Master Wu is not dead!"

"How do you know he's not?" Raya asked. "It's cold down here, wherever here is. And Master Wu loves to be cryptic."

Kai smirks. "She's got a point on that one."

"Raya, Master Wu is over a thousand years old." Nya told her niece. "Master Wu's alive … somewhere."

"Then where is he?" The teen asked. "Where's Will? Where's Jay? Where's Cole? Eleanor? Lily? Dareth? And Gayle Gossip?"

Nya chewed on her lower lip. "I don't know where they are." She looks around. "That whispering gibberish led me down some strange halls and then through that gate."

"We walked through the same gate." Kai nods. "But it was under the Monastery."

"The elevator took us down, but instead of taking us to the Hanger Bay, it brought us here." Raya added, she turn around to look at the large gate. "Is that the same kind of portal?"

"It it is. It sent all three of us to the same place. Like you said, wherever 'here' is."

She and Kai walk up to the door, the light from Kai's fire shows a symbol. " Kind of looks like a strange monastery, doesn't it?"

"But the Monastery doesn't have that symbol." Raya frowns, pointing at it. "Is that a dragon?"

Suddenly the voice starts whispering again, making the three jump and spin around to see the yellow light above some kind of machine.

"That's my whispery ghost thing." Nya told her brother, who grunted when Raya jumps on his back.

"It's Master Wu, just like I said!" She cries in panic. "Master Wu's dead, and his ghost is haunting all of us!"

"Kai, calm your daughter down." Nya sighed.

"I've tried."

The machine turns on, revealing it to be a capsule with a stairway.

The Smith siblings look at each other before moving towards the capsule.

At the main gates, the battle continues to rage on. Lloyd jumps into the air using his Energy power at a Photac beast, but it didn't phase it.

"Eat flame, you bunch of flame-eaters!" Wylefire yells, jumping up and throwing her own powers, Heawave and the wolf beast charge at each other, ramming heads, and another comes up, knocking her off Heatwave and she's sent flying. "Not fair!" She cried, hitting the ground with a tumble and slid to a stop.

"Wyldfyre!" Lloyd jumps off the dragon, who strongly looks like Cole's dragon. The Green Ninja runs over to her, grabbing her and yanking her to safety.

"Release me!" She yanks her arm free. "I must fight!" She charges up her powers before leaping back into battle.

Lloyd groans. "Kai's never been this pig headed before." He quickly jumps backwards to avoid a flame blast. "And neither has Raya." He shakes his head. "Yeah, you're welcome by the way." He places a hand on his ear piece. "Arin, Sora, come in. We really need some good news out here."

"Oh no. Is it that bad?" Arin's worried voice came through.

Lloyd watched as a dragon tried to bite the neck of a Photac beast. "It's that bad."

Sora, the friendly stranger and Arin stood in front of a computer. "I've hacked the city's surveillance network, and we're scanning through it as fast as we can to find Riyu."

"If you can't find Riyu, you're going to have to do this yourself." Lloyd told her. "Without a spark."

"I've never been able to use Elemental Power on my own." Sora argued. "You know that."

"Sora, it's."-

"Yeah, you've told me a million times. But … what if my potential isn't what you think it is?" She asked.

"Stop!" Arin cried suddenly. "Wait! Go back!" Sora moves back the video feed. "There! Look!" They watch as Riyu is now in the palace.

"What are you seeing?" Lloyd asked through the communicator. "You found him?"

The friendly stranger smiled, moving to Sora. "Lloyd buddy! Good to hear you! It's been what? 18 years?"

"Not that long Will, it's." Lloyd's voice trailed off and there was a long pause. "WILL!? They found you?"

"Detail later." William said. "We got a problem."

"Problem? When do we not have a problem?" Lloyd asked.

"Here's the good news you wanted." Sora said. "We know where Riyu is."

"Bad news is the little guy is with the Heart Of Darkness herself." William finished.

Kai, Nya and Raya have approached the top of the capsule. "So our weird ghost guy wanted us to see this?" Kai asked. "What is it? Really, really ugly art?"

"It's a machine daddy." Raya told him, making the Master Of Fire shrug.

"I'm just trying to figure out this dark mystery." He said simply.

Nya moves closer to the capsule and starts to circle it. "Its power functions are inactive. I can hook it up, so it can do whatever it is it does, but ... what if what it does isn't good?"

"It must rise!" Master Wu's voice called out from somewhere in the dark, making Nya gasp.

"Was that." She starts, turning to Kai.

"Master Wu?" He turns to face her. "It sounded like Master Wu to me."

"Master Wu!" Raya cried. "He is dead!" She started to wail.

Nya wrapped her arm around her niece. "That makes no sense. What if this is all just a trick?"

"Raya!" Kai snapped, as his daughter started to again cry. "Your crying is not helping!"

"Stop it Kai!" Nya scolded. "That alone is not helping." She turns to the capsule.

"Trick or not." Kai states. "We need to know what the hell is going on. Right?"

Nya nods. "Right." She squeezes Raya before letting go and turns to fully face the capsule.

While Sora and Arin tried to find a place in the palace, William headed off towards the entrance to help Lloyd.

Lloyd backflips out of the way of a dragon, he looks around briefly before putting his hand on his earpiece. "Arin, Sora! How long - ah!" A fire ball slammed into the ground dangerously close and it knocked him off his feet as he's sent flying.

With his ears ringing, Lloyd slowly pushes himself up and looks around at all the chaos around him. He grabs his head and falls to his knees.

"Lloyd, come in. We're in the palace and we've got eyes on Riyu." Arin's voice is a whisper in the earpiece, Lloyd stands and pulls off his hood as he continued to look around at the chaos. "But Ras is here, and that Empress lady. We don't know what to do! Lloyd? Do you hear me? Lloyd!"

"Lloyd! Are you there?" William's voice came next. "Come in buddy. Talk to me! Hang on buddy, I'm headed in your direction now. You better not have died!"

Lloyd grabs his head again. "Uncle Wu." He gasped. "Uncle Wu, what do I do?" He looks around at everything before his green eyes land on a golden figure of Master Wu approaches and pulls out pendants, swinging them around.

Lloyd closes his eyes as a flashback comes to him. His uncle's voice is heard in his head.

"In life, there will be times of chaos, when everything around you is a raging storm. When there is no calm outside of you, you must find the calm inside of you."

"The calm inside." Lloyd said as he concentrates and calms himself. The green Ninja pulls his hood back on. "Arin. Sora. I'll get Ras and the Empress out of there. Then, make your move."

"You will?" Arin's voice is still a whisper as Lloyd waves at a dragon, gaining it's attention and he leaps onto the animal. "Uh, ok. Got it."

"Will! Where are you?" Lloyd asked, once on the dragon's head and looking around.

"Just one more and - whoa!" William gasped. "That's a lot of dragons!"

Lloyd turns around to look. "Will!" He calls, waving his left arm. "Over here!"

William turns, looking around and found Lloyd on one of the dragons. He jogs over to his friend. "Lloyd!" He uses his power to jump up and land behind his friend. "Wow! It's great to see you!"

"You too!" Lloyd smiles, his smile fades. "I go a plan."

"I'm ready!" William nods, he pauses when he sees Wyldfyre. "Whoa, Skylor's changed a lot."

"That's not Skylor." Lloyd said. "Wyldfyre! I know what to do! Turn around."

"Dragons do not run from battle!" She yells, her hands in flames.

"Is she a fire elemental?" William asked, stunned. "Ohh boy, Kai is not going to like that at all."

"We're not running!" Lloyd told the red head. "We're attacking the palace of the Empress! Let's take this battle to the heart of the Imperium!"

"Now that's a good idea!" The cavewoman roars, and the dragons copy the roar before they all make a break for the palace.

'Lloyd! Do you wanna tell me where you found Wilma Flintstone?" William asked as he sat stood with Lloyd as they all head to the palace.

"Long story."

"Then give me bits and pieces."

"It has to wait until we're back home at the Monastery then." Lloyd said. "We're trying to do a raid here Will!"

The dragons uses their own powers on the palace. Rapton and his forces soon arrive.

""Hey! I have an office in there! What'll happen to my collection of delicate porcelain unicorn figurines?" Everyone looks at him oddly, including the dragons. " What? Unicorns have horns on their faces! It's hardcore! So, shut up!"

The Empress soon arrives with Ras and a few drones. "Ninja! How dare you lay siege to Imperium Palace, the seat of my power?" She demands.

"How dare you treat these dragons like objects just to be drained, so you can keep the lights on?" Lloyd responded, and dragons soon roared with their responses.

"An Empress owes no explanations to lesser beings! Attack! Spare no one!"

Both sides collide as a battle breaks out. Ras heads straight for Lloyd and William. William shoots a powerful gust of wind at Ras, knocking him off course and out of the sky.

"Ha! Take that lion boy!" William smirks.

In the underground Monastery, Kai is currently kicking the capsule repeatedly.

"Quit it!" Nya snaps with annoyance. "Why would you do that? How would that help?"

"I don't know ow to do anything else." Kai replied. "I'm not an engineer like you."

"And didn't it help last time?" Raya asked, making the siblings look at her. "You know when those snake brothers came back from the clocks of time?" She tried. "You two and Eleanor tried to get the Bounty working."

"Snake brothers?" Kai asked, scratching his head, confused. "Oh! You mean the Time Twins."

"Actually I do need your help." Nya said. "I need spot welds here, here, and here."

It took kai a moment to get out of his shock, then held up his left hand and it lit up. "Now we're talking." He moves to touch the three spots his sister had pointed to. "Done, done and … done."

"Ok. Now let's see what the Master-Wu-ghost-who-hopefully-was-not-a-trick wanted us to fix." Nya said as she and Kai move off the capsule, walking up to a lever. "Raya?"

Raya pulls the lever, but nothing happens.

"Seriously? That ghost jerk made us come all this way for nothing?" In his announce and anger, Kai moves towards the capsule and kicks it with anger, it immediately starts whirling.

"Oh no!" Nya cried, as Kai came back to her and Raya. "What have we done?"

The capsule breaks apart, Kai grabs Raya - turning her around to shield her from the smoke metal. A dark figure appears, then leaps out to reveal it's identity.

Nya and Raya both gasp.

"Zane!?" The Smith family gasp in shock as Zane drops down to their level. Zane stood with his old Ninja gi on.

"My friends, where am I? Last I recall, we were flying into that flickering storm."

"The Merge?" Nya asked.

"Zane, that was years ago." Raya told him, making the Nindroide look at her.

"Raya? Is that you?"

The youngest smiled at him. "It's me."

Before Zane could process anything else, the panel next to them starts to beep as a warning light flashes on its screen.

"What's that?" Raya asked as Zane moves to the panel.

"That is a binary distress call. There must be trouble." Zane moves to attach a cable to his head. "Receiving data from this unit. Our friend urgently needs us. "It is time for the Imperium Monastery to rise."

"The Imperium Monastery?" Nya asked.

"Hold on!" Zane warns, turning to press a button. Raya squeaks and grabs Kai as the entire monastery quakes.

Inside the palace, Dr. LaRow and Riyu look around as they felt the quake. "Ugh. More drama in the streets? How is a scientist to do her best work under these conditions?"

Behind her. Arin and Sora slid down from a rope from the ceiling and sneak towards Riyu's cage, but suddenly are knocked to the floor and quickly dodge from a blast.

"Intruders." LaRow is holding a blaster.

"Finally. The day we've both been waiting for. A chance to finish our bitter rivalry once and for all!" The woman in the lab coat, walked towards Sora.

"Rivalry?" Sora asked "With me? Do I … know you?" She asked, completely confused as to who she is.

Arin moves his wrist to his mouth. "Lloyd, come in. Problem … huh?" The woman who was glaring daggers at Sora, turns and grabs Arin's wrist, pulling out the communicator.

"What problem? We're getting slammed out here! If Sora doesn't shut down the."- The woman throws down the communicator and slams her foot down on it, smashing it.

"A communicator?" LaRow questions.

"Not anymore!" The woman takes Sora's and throws it down, before slamming her foot down, destroying it.

Outside, the battle continues on. "I just lost connection with Arin and Sora!" Lloyd told William. Everyone pauses and looks around as the ground shakes. "What's happening?"

"Lloyd, I hope that's your uncle arriving on something that's gonna wipe out this city." William responded.

In front of the palace, a structure emerges from the ground.

"What is this strange house?" Wyldfyre asks.

William whistles. "I think I like it."

"What?" Lloyd turns to him. "Will!" He turns to Wyldfyre. "No clue." He turns back to face his friend. "Prepare for anything."

The doors slide opens. Nya, Zane, Raya and Kai leap out and take fighting stances. "Ninja never quit!" They announce.
