I've been wanting to do this chapter for awhile now. Hope you like it! And it's just a small one till we get part 2

"I never once thought to come here after the Merge happened." Raya said as she, Kai and Nya walked through the village of Ignacia. "If I did, then I'd be safe with grandma and grandpa."
Kai wrapped his arm around his daughter. "It's ok." He told her gently, squeezing her to his side.
"All of us weren't really thinking clearly." Nya replied. "We were all trying to find our way home."
"I'm worried about the others." Raya said. "Cole, Jay, Eleanor, and Lily. And Dr. Borg, Dareth and Master Wu!"
"Honey, we need to focus on stopping the Merge first." Kai told her. "And you strongly believe that Master Wu is dead."
"I don't know what I believe in anymore."
The three walked up to The Four Weapons, as they walked towards the house. The front door flung open to reveal Maya.
Maya Smith squealed in delight. "Kai! Nya!" She cried, she turns to look back in the house. "Ray, stop fiddling with that thing! Our children are back!" She turns back around and runs down the sidewalk with tears.
Maya both her children into a tight big hug.
"Mom!" Kai choked out as Maya gripped both him and Nya.
"Can't breath!" Both Kai and Nya choke out, making Maya gasp and quickly let go. Both her children stumbled backwards as they took in deep breaths.
Raya stood a step forward. "Hi grandma."
Maya stared at her. "Raya." She walked up to her. "This can't possibly be my granddaughter." She smiled at Raya.
"It really is me." Raya nods with a small smile.
"Raya!" Ray smiled brightly as he had came up to everyone. "Wow!" He pulled her into his arms. "Look how much you've grown."
"Hi grandpa." Raya smiled through tears.
"Oh yes. You've definitely blossomed." Maya smiled, she turns to Kai and Nya. "The family is back together!"
At the happy outburst, Raya suddenly burst into tears.
"Oh, Raya." Ray said softly, holding his granddaughter closer.
"Was is something I said?" Maya asked turning to Kai.
"Not all of us are together." He explained.
Maya looked at him, then looked back at Raya, then back to her son. Then gasped.
Skylor.
"Let's all go inside." Ray offered, then guided his granddaughter towards the house.
Maya turns to Kai. "Oh, Kai I'm sorry!" She apologized. "I."- She trailed off.
"It's ok, mom." Kai assured her. "We've all been through a lot."
"Well, let's all head inside." Maya said, still upset that she made her granddaughter cry.

Inside the house. Raya is currently sitting in front of the fire in the fireplace, while the others sat on the couches inside the living room.
"Before we start things." Ray began, moving towards the hallway.
"And I made a batch of cookies!" Maya exclaimed, she turned and ran into the kitchen.
"Nya." Ray said as he came back, now limping.
Nya, Kai and Raya turn to look at him as he reenters the living room to see a young body hugging Ray's leg.
Ray bent down to pick up the young boy. "Are we ready for more tears?" He asks with a smile, walking up to Nya.
"Is, is that Sebastian?" Nya asked with tears, looking at the boy who was sucking his thumb as he looked at Nya.
"It is." Ray smiled. "Sebastian, meet your mom."
Nya smile widened with more tears.
"But … I … Skylor had him." A confused Kai stuttered. "I mean it's great to find him and he's ok, but."- He trailed off.
"We don't know what happened." Maya admits as she returns, now holding a plate of cookies after returning from the kitchen. "A neighbor found him wondering the village, recognized him and brought him to us."
Ray nods, holding his grandson. "We've been watching him ever since."
Nya tried to wipe her tears. "My baby." She wanted to hold her son, but was afraid he would squirm and try to escape her. She couldn't remember the last time she held her son.
Maya sat the plate of cookies down on the coffee table. "Can we talk about what happened?" She asked. "All those years ago, then that blinding flash, then that Earthquake."
"And why there's weird creatures roaming around everywhere." Ray added.
"The Merge." Kai answered. "Us Ninja were in the Merge, trying our best. Lloyd saved Raya just that blinding light."
"I lost my grip on the mast." Raya explained. "He brought me to a safe place. It took me a very long time to get to back to Ninjago."
"Oh honey." Maya walked up to her and sat next to her.
"I." Raya swallowed hard. "Once I finally made it, I, I found." She trailed off, her voice breaking. "Grandma!" She cried, throwing her arm around Maya as she starts to cry.
"Is Skylor ok?" Ray asked with concern.
Kai hung his head, looking at the floor.
"Skylor." Nya started, looking at her brother then at her niece, then finally looked at her father. "She's missing."
Both Ray and Maya gasped with shock.
"She's not the only one who's missing." Kai added, lifting his head. "Jay, Cole, Eleanor and Master Wu are missing." He revealed, making his parents gasp.
"Talk to us. Please." Maya begged.
"I'm ok daddy." Raya assured, wiping her tears. "It's ok to talk about it."
Kai hesitated, then nodded. "Ok." He looked at his sister, who nodded.
"The Merge." Kai began. "That's what happened. Before we knew it, the blinding light appeared." He paused and took a deep breath. "Everything changed after that."
"What is the Merge?" Maya asked.
"It's when two realms are trying to come to the same place at the same time." Nya explained as the best as she could. "Us Ninja were scattered too."
"Scattered?" Ray questioned. "How?"
"Everyone woke up in different realms." Kai again tried to explain. "I woke up in a realm that took me years to return home."
Nya nods. "Same with me. It took me a few years for me."
"But you're home now." Maya commented.
"After we found each other." Kai nods. "It took us another year to find Lloyd."
"Where was he?" Ray asked.
"I can answer that!" Raya exclaimed. "He woke up inside the Monastery, and stayed there. That's how I found him! Actually I found Chantal and Little Wu first, then together we found Lloyd."
Maya wiped her tears. "That would explain why we couldn't reach you two, and Skylor."
"And the Mergequakes." Raya added. "That's apart of the Merge. Two realms trying to exist in the same area."
"And our Elemental Powers is the only thing that can stop the Merge." Nya added.
"Dad?" Kai looked at him."
"Yeah son?"
"Have you heard of two people having the same element at the same time?"
Ray stroked his chin in thought. "No." He shook his head.
"Neither have I." Maya frowned. "Why do you ask Kai?"
"Long story short. Lloyd found a prisoner with the same Element as me." Kai answered, holding up his left hand and it flamed up.
"That's not possible." Ray said with shock.
"How is that possible?" Maya asked with just as much shock.
"According to Lloyd. All the weird stuff is now normal." Raya replied. "He doesn't know what's going on with the events. All the scrolls that Master Wu had are gone."
Sebastian tried to reach for Nya, causing Ray to smile. "Nya? You want to hold him?"
"Yes!" Nya beams. "Please." She added more calmly.
Her father gave her her son, and Nya was in happy tears as she was able to hold her own son.
Kai smiled as he watched his sister, he then stood up and walked around the living room. Pictures of him and Nya when they were babies and up till the point where the Time Twins captured them. Then there were updated pictures of Kai and Nya, and lastly pictures of Raya and Sebastian.
Ray walked up to him. "Son." He took's arm and pulled him out of the living room and into the hallway. "Where's Skylor?"
Kai shook his head. "I don't know. No one does! But I do know this, if she's in danger we find out somehow, not even Lloyd would be able to keep me held back. I'll burn whatever place she's in."
Maya walked over to them. "Kai? Would you guys please stay for dinner?" She asked, hopefully.
Kai turned to look into the living room. He smiled as he watched Nya and Raya cooing over Sebastian. "Yes." He turns back to his mother. "That sounds great!"
Maya smiled, and quickly hugged her son tightly.
