Hello everyone. Dodger here. Happy Holidays. Don't you love it? The time of year when you spend time with your family, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy the snow.

I'm in Toronto, Canada for the greatest trip that people need to put on their bucket list. I was glad I booked this trip as it's normally packed.

I booked this...2 days ago.

I'm guessing how I did this YOLO trip two days away from Christmas of all times.

I got the message. Not the "I'm home alone" or "family emergency."

It was "we found the ice Dragon Rune" message and it's on this trip. Bianca told me where it was and here I am. I'm not complaining even though it seems like it.

I just haven't seen my family since my birthday. Ever since I found the electricity Dragon Rune.

There is no time to regret it as I have the fate of a world in my hands. Plus, I have the pleasure of seeing different species and creatures that no human can see.

As for this trip, I didn't know about this till this past summer. They only do this twice in North America. I gave tickets for Babs. I hope she enjoys it.

It's the amazing Techno Train! It travels from Toronto to Alaska to Michigan. How can it do that? It's a bullet train of course.

As Dodger was monologing, two men were staring at him. A young Hispanic man in his early 20s and older white man in his early or mid-30s.

"This is the guy that kicked your ass, Finn? He looks like a manic talking to himself. Psycho bro."

Finn didn't speak as he kept his eyes on the one who cause him to get his powers stripped. He was the demonic nightmare brute at Cloud 9 trying to retrieve the Fire Dragon Rune.

But he has another chance to retrieve a new Dragon Rune and by chance, have his powers return. Even better, he can get his hands drenched in the blood of Dodger.

Finn was in deep thought that he didn't feel the hand on his shoulder.

"Earth to Finn" the young man snaps his fingers at him. "Dame is back."

Behind the two was a tall Hispanic man sipping a drink out of a coconut. "Dominic. Finn, I hope you're ready for redemption. Mistress senses a powerful artifact here."

"I won't fail again" Finn said, not paying attention to Dame.

Dominic turns to his partner. "I don't know, Damian. Maybe I should go."

Damian gave him a stare. "If she wanted you to go, she would've told you. This is for Finn only. Pray you redeem yourself."

The train arrived at the station. The passengers turn in their tickets and enter inside. The inside looked elegant with mini chandeliers above, fresh clean carpets floors, tables draped with white sheets and the guest rooms were huge with room for two beds.

Dodger placed his bags into the cabinet above his bed and took out a small booklet and a book. He sat down on the seat and began reading.

Dodger POV

I have to get ready for my job on the train. This would be a first in a long, long time that I'm not qualified for a job. I'm pretending to be an undercover security guard.

Poor guy I took out. But I need that Dragon Rune. I only got a half a day to retrieve before the stop to Alaska. Then, I ride back to Michigan as an actual ticket holder.

The one thing I'm worried other than someone finding the rune is how it's going to affect my body. I was lucky enough of going to another world and the fire powers didn't put me out like the electric powers did.

But for now, I gotta go through my plan, which is by this booklet. It starts at midnight when I go inspect the safety of the passengers and staff. There are about 50 train carts so I'm good.

Once I get the Rune, I'm going to put it in a device The Professor made for me in this orb. When I have time after Christmas and New Years, I can absorb when I'm away from the family.

All should go well. I knocked on the wooden wall behind me. I hope this goes well.

The train was riding through the dark night sky. The passengers were exploring the carts, eating dinner, or dancing at the techno club.

In a mysterious cart that is blocked off by two skinny male bodyguards wearing lab coats and pants.

Inside the room were more bodyguards except there were helping a man in a green lab coat who was pouring pink liquid into a beaker filled with blue liquid.

"Failure, huh? I'll show you a failure. With my indestructible army, I'll show you and the world who I am."

Walking out the door and out the train cart, the man went inside another train cart where it was dark and silent.

"There, there, my creation. You will help me out. Just like these people on this train."

Yawn! It was close to midnight. I went to use the bathroom after a nap I took. I was too busy looking around that I bumped into a passenger, dropping my book. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"No problem. Hey, I didn't know people still read this."

"Yeah. It got me through my problems at school."

I looked up and saw the man who I bumped into. My jaw dropped at the smile he gave me.

"N-Ned Bigby."

"Hi, how are you doing?" He said, sticking his hand out.

"I-I'm doing great. I would've never thought I would meet you in my life."

Ned laughed and we kept on talking about his book and what's been going on in his life. Who knew that the kid who made a guide to survive middle and high school and my hero turn to become a teacher.

"I would've thought you would be a guidance counselor."

"Well, I thought about it. But when I wrote the blog before the book, I thought about my teachers like Mr. Monroe and Mr. Sweenie and how can I make a difference in a kid's life to help them in situations I was in back when I was a student. I'm glad to hear that it helped you."

"It's no problem."

"Ah, meeting another fan?"

We turn to see a well-dressed black man wearing a sweater, dress pants and dress shoes. "Looks like you're a popular man today, Ned."

"My goodness. Simon Cook. You're the CEO of CookTech. Of all places. It's like a reunion."

"Well, being a CEO is rough. With my company opening in Tokyo next week, I'm taking a vacation. Especially with my best buds."

"Moze is also here too?" I asked.

Ned answered with a shake of his head. "She's not here. We're meeting up at Michigan for a Christmas bonfire. She and some friends are gonna meet us there. We're having a reunion here as well. You're welcome to join us if you want."

I wanted to join. But I already fooled around too much. Looking at my phone, it was 12:45. Damn me and my fanboying. "I wish I could. But I'm already late for this security job. I am free tomorrow, though. But, I don't want to be a bother on y'all. Be safe and have fun."

"Okay. Nice talking to you, Dodger" said Ned, waving goodbye.

As Dodger went out of the cart, Simon let out a hm that caught Ned's attention. "What's wrong?"

"Someone was talking to me about Dodger. She said that he was a big fan of your survival guide. Anyway, let's get to the techno cart and boogie!"

I made it to the service cart where the servents were gathering items for the customers. They were...anthropomorphic animals. I'm not weirded out as I have been to a world where human and bipedal animals live together.

She had orange fur, a tall upwards ear visibly seen on top of her hair,green eyes, long, curly blonde hair, and small black eyebrows. She had on red lipstick that if it wasn't for the annoyed look on her face, I would be turned on right now.

"Sorry I'm late. I thought it was best to inspect my room for anything unusual."

She raised an eyebrow. "Uh, who are you?"

I pulled out a badge to show her proof. "Undercover Security Guard Felix."

The Servant stared at me like I was an idiot. But that's cool as I'm used to it. "Where's Jared? He was the undercover guy we met earlier."

"He fell ill. Our supervisor called me in for this trip instead. Someone more qualified."

"Okay." She said with a roll of her eyes. "I'm Tawna, head of the Service Group with Megumi, Liz, Ami, and Isabella."

The girls waved at me. Some with flirtatious looks. How am I lucky and yet cursed at the same time.

They seem like the same species as Tawna. Megumi had sky blue hair in two buns. Ami has short, wavy, bright green hair. Liz has lighter fur, two earrings on her left ear, black hair with purple highlights, purple eyeshadow, and purple lipstick. Isabella was another blondie but with a beauty mark.

"Nice to meet you ladies. Y'all are doing a fantastic job."

"There's something you don't hear every day" said Liz with a cute Australian accent.

"Before I do my job, you ladies haven't seen anything suspicious going on, have you?"

There was a brief silence as they looked at one another. It was Tawna that spoke on an issue. We traveled to where the problem was located. It was extra chilly.

"This is where we keep extra stock of food in case we run out. As you can feel, our deep freezer is blowing extra cold air and freezing the room. With the door closed."

This has to be it. This finna be a breeze. It has to be the Ice Dragon Rune.

"I'll take a look at the situation. It is unusual indeed. Just make sure the door doesn't close on me" I told Tawna, opening the door to the deep freezer.

After a gust of cold wind hit us, I saw frost and ice all over the inside. It was a big freezer and ice was solid on the floor. I carefully made my way inside to figure out where it was.

Being inside of here, my body would be super cold. But I'm guess the fire powers help me out with my body temperature.

Trying my best not slip and fall, I found the cause of this trouble. The Dragon Rune.

"There you are."

I took out my work gloves, put them on and held the Rune. "Suck it, Ripto. Now, to place it in my bag."

I begin to make my exit till the door is closed. "Tawna! Tawna!"
