"Y'know, the butterfly effect is an amazing thing.

You just had to press that button. Didn't you?

I asked you to stop. I begged. I cried.

Enjoy the Silence

They say its always the quiet ones.

Its always those who bite their tongue, who keep their mouth shut, who hide away from the rest of the world. They're wrong. You see, its not the quiet ones you should watch out for. They're dangerous, sure, but you forget yourself. No, its the ones who smile all the time; those who laugh the loudest, who acted the fool. Those who wear a mask. Watch out for them. They're the real monsters.

Hmm.

Maybe I course-corrected a little too hard, tried to be too normal, pretend I was something I wasn't. I understand. Really, I do.

What happens when the mask breaks?

I'll tell you what happens.

Enjoy the silence.

A keen eye turned to the shivering wreck. Gods above, she was just a child.

"Well, are you hungry?"

The girl perked up.

"Food...?"
