Hello again! Apologies for the wait but this chapter is FINALLY here for you. We're at the final seven now. What did you think of Layla and Nina as a couple now, please tell me in a review. Also, I'm working on a different Total Drama fanfiction with an all newbie cast called Total Drama Prison. Please, read it! Now I know this has been a long author's note so let the chapter begin.

Episode Nine: In The Mood For Elimination

Chris: Previously on Total Drama Fans Vs Favourites, the teams have merged! They competed in finding a treasure chest, Layla and Nina started dating and Simon had a huge outburst at Ariana which led to his elimination.

(The scene cuts to the boys cabin)

Alec: I can't believe Simon got eliminated!

Chase: I know! I voted for Layla.

Alec: Good move dude, good move. No offence dude, but I voted for Julia.

Chase: What?

Alec: She's a serious physical and strategic threat.

Chase: I guess, but she's my girlfriend!

Alec: OK, sorry man.

(The scene cuts to the girls cabin)
Layla: Aww… you're so cute! (kisses Nina)
Nina: Oh, so are you. (kisses Layla)

Julia: So, is this relationship like real or something.

Nina: Yeah, you must know about that with Chase.

Julia: As if! I'm just manipulating him.

Ariana: What? Why?

Julia: He likes me and is loyal to me.

Layla: You are pure evil.

(The scene cuts to the challenge being announced)

Chris: Today, you will compete in an intense race to the finish line. You will go through a variety of obstacles and challenges. Oh, and one more thing, the last person to cross the finish line is eliminated. Go!

(Static buzzing)

Nina: I can't believe it! I could be eliminated just because of a challenge!

(Static buzzing)

Ariana: I really hope I don't get eliminated.

(Static buzzing)

(The scene cuts to the race starting with all the contestants running across the tyres. Chase and Julia lead the pack as they grin at each other. Layla, Alec and MK are a bit behind as Alec pulls ahead. Meanwhile, Nina and Ariana sit at the back with Nina significantly ahead. Chase and Julia then arrive at a rocky cliff they have to climb, Julia is faster at it)

Chase: Wait up, babe.

Julia: Sorry, I have to win.

(Alec is the next to arrive at the cliff and climbs as fast as he can. Ariana and Nina are still at the back struggling meanwhile Layla arrives at the cliff and climbs efficiently. Alec is climbing but slips and is grabbing on for dear life)

Alec: (trying to write) Make a character hold on for his.. liiiiiiiiife. (falls)

(He lies on the ground trying to get up as MK and Nina start to climb. Julia is the first to get up the cliff, she realises she has to jump off the cliff into the water)

Julia: No! No! My hair!

Layla: (climbs up) Deal with it, Princess Evil. (jumps off)

Julia: I can do this, I can do this. (jumps off)

(Nina who caught up in the climbing section and Chase make it up before quickly diving)

(Static buzzing)

Chase: I've done higher jumps than that in the intro to my channel!

(Static buzzing)

(Julia and Layla begin to start to run again towards Chief)

Julia: You're going down, Captain Arrogance.

Nina: (from a distance) Help me! I'm drowning!

Layla: I'm coming Nina!

Julia: Bye!

Chase: (from a distance) Help!

Layla: You'll have to go back too!

Julia: Meh.

(Layla helps Nina out of the water and shares a kiss with her, meanwhile Chase struggles trying to get out. MK and Alec jump off the cliff next as Ariana still climbs. Julia reaches Chief)

Chief: For this portion of the challenge, you have to answer a question about this season. Who was the third person eliminated?

Julia: Um.. Bowie?

Chief: Wrong. Who won the singing contest?

Julia: Me?

Chief: Wrong.

(Layla and Nina run as fast as they can towards Chief)
Chief: Layla, who has had the most votes towards the eliminated player this season out of the remaining cast?

Layla: Me!

Chief: Wrong! It's MK.

Layla: Really?

(Static buzzing)
Layla: Maybe MK is smarter than I thought?

(Static buzzing)

Chief: Nina, what was the fist couple to get together this season?

Nina: Julia and Chase.

Chief: Correct, you can go.

Nina: I think I'll stay with Layla.

Layla: You don't have to do that.

Nina: Well, I will.

Chief: Julia, how many couples are currently together with both parties feeling love for each other?

Julia: One, Nina and Layla.

Nina: What about you and Chase?

Chief: Correct, Julia can progress. (Julia runs off)

(Alec arrives)

Chief: Layla, which contestant was eliminated because of screaming, "Animal Abuse!"

Layla: Danny.

Chief: Correct. Alec, what is Danny's pet?

Alec: A hamster.

(The scene cuts to Julia who has reached the final section, an intern straps a boulder to her)

Intern: Get to the finish.

(Julia begins to try to move)

(Nina and Layla come next and boulders are attached to them as they try to walk)

(The scene cuts to MK and Ariana answering questions)

Chief: MK, who was eliminated in the sudden double elimination challenge?

(Static buzzing)

MK: I wasn't really paying attention, I was too focused on the future to think about the present.

(Static buzzing)

MK: Bowie and Simon?

Chief: Wrong. Ariana, according to a fan vote we cast who is the most handsome boy here?

Ariana: Sim- Cal- Bow- Dan- Ozz- Cha- Dam-

Chief: Wrong! MK, has anyone rigged the vote this season?

MK: No.

Ariana: I thought Caleb did.

MK: He was framed.

Ariana: How do you know? (gasps) You framed him!

(MK runs off)

Chief: Ariana, what is Danny's favourite animal.

Ariana: He has a lot, Hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, birds, rabbits-

Chief: That's enough! Correct.

(The scene cuts to Julia and Layla at the front with a boulder attached to them)

Julia: (pants) You're going (pants) down!

Layla: No! (pants) You are!

(They arrive at the finish line)

Julia and Layla: Who won!

Chris: … Julia!

Julia: Yes!

Layla: No!

(Alec goes past the finish next and then Chase)

Chris: Good job!

Layla: Where's Nina?
Nina: (walks in) Here!

Chris: Congratulations!

(The scene cuts to Ariana and MK)

MK: Ariana?

Ariana: Yeah?

MK: (stands tall lifting the boulder up) Catch! (swings around hitting Ariana in the face with a boulder)

Ariana: (can barely speak) Ow.

(The scene cuts to the finish line where MK crosses)

Chris: Good job! Ariana has been eliminated!

(Ariana arrives)

Ariana: (swollen lips so no one can understand her) MK is evil!

Chris: Did anyone understand that!

(Everyone shrugs)

Chris: OK, then.

(The scene cuts to Ariana being carried away by the drone of despair)

Nina: I'm glad we're all safe for tonight.

Chris: Oh, you're not. You are all still going to vote someone out tonight.

(Everyone gasps)

Chris: Uh huh.

(The scene cuts to the elimination)

Chris: Marshmallows go to Julia with immunity, Nina, Chase and … Layla.

(Alec looks nervous writing frantically in his notebook while MK smirks confidently)

Chris: The final marshmallow of the night goes to …. MK. Goodbye, Alec.

Alec: Well, I got what I needed from this competition. I got material for my novel, make sure to buy it! Good luck. (carried away by the drone of despair)

Chris: That was a twist! And we're down to the final five: Layla, Nina, Julia, Chase and MK. Which one will win, find out next time on Total Drama Fans Vs Favourites!
