A/N: I'll be updating Rise of a Beast Hero tomorrow, health willing. Its already nearly at 5k+ but its not ready and I don't want to rush it.
As ever, the Embers rule Remains; sad as that may sound, its the truth. If folks don't like this story...well, it won't be continued. I haven't the time to write something folks don't like. Two jobs keep me terribly busy as such that I have barely any time to write. I've got so many people spamming requests; its making my head spin.
As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes.
Not a wit or a one! There we go. Hope you enjoy!
Another tease for Weaponmasters of Remnant.
"These weapons have souls, missy. They're forged from your aura, and my chakra.
So be good to them. Because if your weapon rejects you...
...well, bad things happen.

Way Down We Go
The hammer struck the anvil.
Once. Twice. Thrice now.
Naruto flicked a bead of sweat from his brow, squinted into the forge, then frowned. A golden hand reached out. Tenten sashayed past with a pair of tongs, reached over him -full breasts brushing his arm, temptress that she was- and plucked the metal free from his grasp. She laid it down, frowned, then took a hammer of her own to it. He didn't question it. If she'd found an imperfection in his craft she'd hammer it out, no problem.
"Careful, don't crack it-
She swatted him on the flank. "I've got it. You focus on yours."
The cherry red blade was coming along quite nicely. Red as blood, really.
Forging a weapon was one thing, but to give an existing weapon life...to bring a soul into the world and make it a weapon, a partner...well. Such craft took time.
Of course it did. Their weapons were renowned the world over, capable of feats that could shake the world. Everyone wanted them to craft swords and blades, axes and rapiers and scythes, but in truth it wasn't so simple. If one didn't have aura, it wasn't possible to infuse a weapon with a soul. Simple as that.
Behind them, he felt the eyes of their client upon them.
"Is it read yet?"
"It'll be ready when its ready." he shot a baleful look their way. "Not before. Not after."
Raven Branwen huffed, glaring at them like the broody bird she was. "You took a lot of my aura for this, old man...
"Aura regenerates. Weapons don't. I'm making a partner for you here, so sit. Down."
The young woman obeyed like the child she no longer was.
Summer laughed. "See, Rae? Told ya."
Tenten made a whipped sound. Qrow and Taiyang sniggered in the background.
Ozpin wiped a bit of steam from his spectacles. "Fascinating. I don't think I've seen anyone discipline her like that...
Naruto hefted a hammer his way. "Say that again and it'll be your head on the anvil. Or perhaps you'd like a chat with Kurama?
The headmaster demurred with a smile, hands raised. "A slip of the tongue, little more."
...that's what I thought." his piece said, he set hammer to anvil once more.
With their Weapons, the world would be a safer place.
So he swore.
A/N: Aaaaand there we go.
Once more! This is a teaser. It might go somewhere. It might not. That depends entirely on you.
As ever, the Embers rule Remains. If folks don't like this story...well, it won't be continued. Strange as it might sound, live for reviews and feedback; without them, I simply can't write a single word. So by all means! Speak up! Really, that's no joke. Your feedback is the reason this story continues. Ever bit helps. It keeps me going in these crazy times. So by all means! Speak up! No review is too short or too small!
As ever, read the previews before you review, please.
