A/N: Feels weird, knowing Father's Day is right around the corner. Makes me feel proper old...
Heyo~!
This is a bit from Serving a Schnee that never quite made it off the drawing board.
Strike a Match and Golden Grimm aren't quite ready, still working out the kinks. Archon's nearly ready now, just needs a bit of editing between me and Ronin.
As ever, the Embers rule Remains; sad as that may sound, its the truth. If folks don't like this story...well, it won't be continued. I haven't the time to write something folks don't like. Two jobs keep me terribly busy as such that I have barely any time to write. I've got so many people spamming requests; its making my head spin.
As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes. Not a wit or a one! There we go. Hope you enjoy!
Seriously, though! SPOILERS AHOY!
Ye be warned.

Unto the Breach
"Naruto, no."
"Naruto yes! C'mon, Weiss! Live a little!"
"Its the living that I'm worried about! This is insane!"
That was putting it lightly! She'd taken many a risk during her days as a huntress, but this? This took the cake. She leaned over the edge, grimacing into the wind and snow. The Grimm were down there somewhere-no doubt concealed by the blizzard. The Bullhead rattled around them; barely holding together in the storm. She could feel the Ruby's eye on her; eager to make the jump, but waiting for her all the same. Adam didn't say a word of course; his good eye remained focused firmly on the White Fang base below.
And Naruto...he looked like he was about go race in there with or without her.
"So we're all clear, then?"
She was Team leader, here. The rest of WNTR awaited her word.
.
..
...so why was she hesitating?
"Storm's getting worse!" The pilot's radio squawked with static from the cockpit. "If you're going to jump, now's the time!"
Naruto quirked a blond brow her way. "You heard the lady."
"Ironwood's going to kill us...
Her partner winked and nudged her with an elbow, earning a baleful glare. "What he doesn't know won't hurt him."
Pah! Death would be a mercy if they were caught! They were defying orders as is to hunt the remnants of their old enemy. A Hunter must hunt after all, and the work of a Huntress was never done.
"Don't worry, Weiss." Ruby chimed in, squirming into her side. "We'll be fiiiine. We've got this! It'll be just like Beacon."
A pale brow climbed all the way up her brow and into her hair. "Beacon was awful."
Adam chortled, a low, hoarse sound. "I seem to recall you enjoying it."
"I most certainly did not! We nearly burned the place down!"
Naruto waffled a hand. "Eh, potato, potatoe."
"Don't you start!"
Adam grunted in response to something Ruby must've said when she wasn't listening; whatever it was had the rowdy reaper bounding forward with a grin. Too late, Weiss realized what Rose intended. She whirled, a half-hearted protest already on her lips...just in time to see Adam vault out into the blizzard. Ruby leaped after him in a swirl of crimson petals, voice echoing after her.
"See you guys below! Gerornimo!"
Weiss swore as she vanished into the blizzard. "Ruby! You absolute child!"
Naruto flung himself forward with a whoop, tucked both legs beneath him and leaped. Just like that, she found herself alone, scowling into the storm. Her right eye began to twitch. Children, the lot of them, even after all these years! Ohhhh she'd be having words with them after this! And a few books besides!
The pilot squawked from the cockpit. "You going or what? Now or never!"
Weiss flung up her arms and leaped into the blizzard after Naruto.
Once more unto the breach.
A/N: Aaaaand there we go.
Once more! This is a teaser. It might go somewhere. It might not. That depends entirely on you.

"Favorite, eh?"
"What can I say, they have good taste." Naruto butted heads with him. "Gotta problem with that?"
"There can only be one!"
"Uncle Qrow, no!"
"Uncle Qrow yes!" Yang hooted. "Fight, fight, fight!"
Weiss palmed her face. "This family is insane...
Blake didn't look up from her book.
...why do I have to be the taste tester?!" Jaune eyed the pancake like he half-expected it to leap up and bite him.
"Weiss made this? And it won't knock me out?"
"Eh, only if you have a weak constitution.
He could feeel her glaring at him.
"Eat it or die, Arc."
"You're cracked."
"Oi! Just because I've taken a few head injuries doesn't mean you can say that!"
Raven was silent for a long moment. Vanessa finally took mercy on her. "He's having you on."
"NARUTO!"
"You'll never take me alive!
Yang and Pyrrha exhanged a long look in the background as the chase ensued. "So that makes us, what, half sisters?"
"Hmm." the redhead frowned a little. "Feels weird."
Ruby landed on Pyrrha's back with a giggle. "Sisters"!
