Hey guys! Sorry about the delay. I would blame that I was busy with the holidays coming around making work overwhelming, but I can also blame this . It was being all glitchy with the emails not being fixed, no view counts and such. I can't post my chapters if I can't get any notifications telling me you guys send reviews or PMing and such. I have the app which does that, but I'd prefer getting the emails. It's fixed now but still, with what has been going on, it made me think about things for the future of my hobby as a writer. Don't worry, it's not bad, but I'll explain more but we'll talk after this chapter is over.
Anyways,
Alright you guys, are you ready for the big moment? For those who guessed it, you were right, it's time for the big day for Edward and Bella! Enjoy this sweet chapter!
Outtake 2 – Middle of June of 2022, A Few Months After The First Outtake
Girl, when I'm with you I lose track of time
When I'm without you you're stuck on my mind
Be all you need till the day that I die
I'll love you
Over and over again
So, don't ever think I need more
I've got the one to live for
No-one else will do, yeah, I'm telling you
Just put your heart in my hands
Promise it won't get broken
We'll never forget this moment
Yeah, we'll stay brand-new 'cause I love you
Over and over again
Yeah, over and over again
~ Nathan Sykes
Edward's POV
"Damn Edward, you're literally a hot mess." Demetri snickered as I was trying to fix my coffee. It's way too early at six o'clock. There's barely light showing right now. Jasper, I get him being an early bird, but my best friend here, I'm questioning everything about him now.
I just gave him an annoyed look. "Shut up." I said as Demetri just laughs, even though he was right. I just didn't need to be pointed out about it.
"Yep, I believe he went too far in Bella dreamland." He said as he wraps his arms around himself and made noises like he's making out.
"Oh fuck off!" I said as I tossed an apple at his head which he ducks out of the way.
"Hey, you're the one who's about to mix your coffee with a tea bag." Demetri pointed out.
I looked at my hands and sure enough I was holding a tea bag. I shook my head and placed that tea bag back in the box.
"Honestly Edward, we came home before midnight. What else got your head up in the clouds?" Jasper teased as he sipped his coffee.
"Couldn't sleep." I answered as I got coffee brewing.
"It's normal to feel the wedding jitters." Jasper smiled. "Although, if I know how you're feeling now, don't blame my wife for not being allowed into seeing your soon-to-be wife. That's just how it goes."
I sighed as I sat down and took a sip of my coffee. "I guess I just wanted this day to be perfect." I said.
Demetri just smiled as he gave me a slap on the back. "Dude, you know there's no such thing as a perfect wedding." He said.
"Actually, a perfect wedding is like an optimalization problem." Ben said as he, Alec, Seth, Emmett and Jacob came into the kitchen. "A perfect wedding has to have a perfect room temperature and a perfect dessert and such."
"There's no perfect dessert." Emmett said.
"Blue cake in a shape of a dolphin with chocolate frosting, scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, not touching." Ben stated causing us to stare at him. "Hey, you guys saw that on our wedding."
Demetri shook his head as he turned to me, with a serious look. "Look man, the day you planned for is finally here. Don't worry about what's going to happen, other than you legally becoming Bella's problem. OW!" He cried when Alec smacked his head.
"What this idiot is trying to say, is that everything is going to be fine." He said to me. "This is your special day and nothing can ruin it. Don't worry about it, and think about how you'll get to spend the rest of your life with Bella."
"Yeah, this day is about you and Bella and we're all here to celebrate this special day. Everything is all set up and ready to go." Seth said, happily.
"All you got to worry about now is getting ready for the big day." Ben said. "And mostly Demetri here losing the rings." He said, earning a shove from Demetri.
"Exactly. Now get your shit together, go shower, and try to relax before you get ready." Jacob smiled.
I nodded my head as I took my coffee with me upstairs and went into the guess room I've been staying in. One of the windows facing East, I sat on my bed and drank my coffee as I watched the view on this beautiful. Even though it's happening inside, the weather today is perfect and I don't want any sudden changes because the weatherman was wrong.
Can't believe today's the big day. The day I finally get to marry Bella and make her my wife. Never in all my life would I be able to find a woman like her. Never did I expect that I'd be the one to marry a celebrity. If you would've told me five years ago when I was still in high school, enjoying life and told me that I will be marrying America's Princess, I would still find it hard to believe even today. And yet, here we are now. I didn't think back then I would have a shot at dating Bella, and now, I'm about to see her soon on that altar when she walks down the aisle and I will soon have her hand. Damn.
I'll be honest, I am really nervous as hell. Not about if things could go wrong with the wedding, but if I'm ready for this. Yes, I love Bella and she is my life. I do anything to make her happy. I just hope to be a good husband to her. I know it's not going to be easy with marriage but whoever said marriage was easy? But regardless, all that matters in my life is Bella. I mean, what about my freedom as a man? I had a good time being young, having fun with my friends, everything a person does to have fun in his life. So getting married in your early twenties is a bit young, but does that really matter? Not to me. Bella is my life and I want my future with her.
I spent last night with the guys for my bachelor party as we just went into the bar and ordered food and had drinks. Thankfully none of us got drunk and did anything stupid to get in trouble with the police. Even Emmett controlled himself. I think Rosalie gave him a very stern talking about getting strippers involved. After that, we went back to Charlie's house and spent the night there. Sad that I didn't get to see Bella since she's spending the night at Alice's place with the girls, but it is how it is. I will see her soon, in that white dress. I know she'll look beautiful, even though she's always been.
And I know today will be perfect.
I spent the morning relaxing before I hit the showers. Once that was done, I was out with a towel wrapped around my waist as I looked at my phone. I got a few messages from my family and friends who came to L.A. for the wedding. I checked on Bella's messages but all I got was the recent one from last night before we went to sleep. I got a hunch that Alice has confiscated it. Damn that little pixie.
I sighed as I placed my phone down and started getting myself ready. I spent the next half hour or so getting my tuxedo on and making sure my hair is tamed. But after seeing that it was pointless since my hair is winning this battle, I let it be and now all I have to deal with now is this bowtie. As I was tying it, I heard a knock on my door.
"Can we come in?" My father called from the other side.
"Go ahead." I said as I turned around and saw my parents coming in, all dressed up and ready to go.
"Oh Edward," My mother said as she looked at me up and down. "You look so handsome. I can't believe my baby's getting married." She said as she started to cry. At that moment, Carlisle casually whipped out a tissue from his chest pocket of his tuxedo. "Oh, thank you. Crap my mascara." She said as she dabbed the tissue on her eye.
"I know you too well, dear." Carlisle chuckled as he turned to me with a big smile on his face. "I'm truly proud of you, son. And happy for you."
"Thank you." I said. "And… thank you, for everything. My whole life. I'm really grateful for everything you guys have done for me since I was born. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you."
"We're happy that you found someone to be with." Carlisle said. "Your mother and I have longed for this day. Bella is an amazing woman and you followed your heart and chose well."
"I know it." I said.
"Then you have nothing to worry about for this day and your future with Bella." Carlisle said, patting my shoulders. "Just remember what's important and that's her."
"And know that we're always here for you guys whenever you need us." Esme smiled and I nodded my head knowing how much my parents are important to me as well as everyone else in my life besides Bella. "Here, let me fix that for you." She said and assisted me on tying my bowtie. "There, now Bella will be blown away when she sees you."
"How is she?" I asked, knowing my mother that she might have dropped by to check on Bella.
"She's nervous, but that's no surprise." Esme said. "Her friends are getting her hair and makeup done before she puts on her dress. She looks beautiful by the way."
"I have no doubt." I smiled.
"Edward!" I looked to see my sister coming in all dressed up and I caught her just as she jumped into my arms for a hug.
"Hey sis!" I smiled as I put her down. "You look great."
"Thanks! Alice and Rose helped me out!" Renesmee said as she gave out a twirl. "I'm so excited for you, Edward! I'm finally going to have a sister!"
"Bella has always been a sister to you since we met her." I said.
"I know, but now that you're going to marry Bella, she'll officially be my sister!" Renesmee said excitedly.
I just chuckled. "Well I can't wait for her to be my wife." I said.
Renesmee looked down as she played with her hands. "Edward, … you won't… forget about me, will you? Like… will you still spend time with me?" She asked, and my heart broke to hear how sad she sounded.
"Hey," I said as I lowered myself and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Just because Bella and I are getting married, doesn't mean I won't spend time with you anymore."
"I know, but you'll be so busy playing in the NFL, and even during the off season, I just… I just hate that I won't get to spend time with you." Renesmee said sadly.
"Renesmee, I'll always make time for my little sister." I said to her softly. "Just remember that I'll be there for you no matter what, okay?"
My sister just answered by throwing her arms around me for a hug, squeezing me tight as I hug her in return. No matter what happens, she'll always be my sweet little sister, even if she's growing up.
"Well," I looked up to see my father holding the door out. "Shall we get going?" He asked. I nodded as we left my room. We took the rental car my parents used and I drove us to the venue where the wedding is taking place. It'll be a long time that I get to be in the same car with my family and I'm making every moment count with them.
We just talked until we arrived at the venue called the Lord Mansion. There were a few cars there which I know for sure belong to my friends and their families who are here. I pulled up to the spot where it assigned just for me and my family.
"Ready to get married?" Carlisle asked me.
I closed my eyes as I opened my side of the door, taking a few deep breaths. I could smell the flowers blooming around the building. The smell of it pretty much reminds me of Bella and all my nerves went away.
Opening my eyes, I turned to him and my family who are waiting for me. "You better believe it." I smiled as we got out of the car and went inside the building.
The lounge had a big greeting for the wedding, honoring Bella and I that shows the big picture of us for our engagement photo session thanks to Angela. Thankfully with the help of security, the place wasn't swarming with paparazzi. We did not want distractions that could possibly ruin this day. Well after how my incident with them had happened years ago, I think they took the message about privacy and boundaries. Going through until we reached the destination, I stood at last seeing what is the best pieces of every wedding I've been to, combined into one masterpiece. From the overabundant flowers to the room full of people; from the colorful dresses of women to the black and white suits of men; from the family that surrounded us to the friends we feel close to; from Angela's father who would marry us to the flower-covered arch that he waited beneath, I could see a touch of the past at every turn.
I turned to my parents as my sister took off to talk to the guests. My eyes were shining with excitement, my lips curved into an ecstatic grin as my heart was racing. My mom made one last attempt to straighten my bow just slightly as the music was playing in the background.
"Ready?" Carlisle asked me with a barely contained smile. I didn't need to say anything as I grinned and nodded my head. I took for a brief second to savor the moment. The music swelled and I took a step towards the altar as I await my bride, my Bella.
The crowd was a sea of faces. Apart from my friends and family, including Tanya and the others along with Aro and his wife, I saw some celebrities close to Bella, including her costars and her manager Reyna with her family. Right up front, was Esme with Renesmee and Fluff ,and Jacob sitting at the end of the row along with Emmett and Jasper. My sister was beaming as she was holding Fluff in her arms, with Jacob smiling as my mother had tears in her eyes even with a smile while my father sat down next to her and took her hand in his. On the other side, I could see my friends up front. The only people not in their seats are Demetri who is standing by my side as my best man and Angela who has her camera ready for the pictures to be taken. Charlie is also not present as his seat was empty next to Sue's who is sitting close to my parents. And right next to him, I gave a small smile to Renee as she gave me one in return and sitting next to her was her date, Phil Dwyer, who is a neighbor becoming a close friend of Renee when she moved back to Downing to take time for herself, and coaches for the Stanford baseball team.
I'm honestly glad Renee is here, especially after last night.
Flashback
Last night
I looked at my watch seeing it was half an hour until midnight and then looked around to see no one around and sure enough asleep. I quietly left the house and got into my rental car and began driving off on this late night. I know it's last second, and I probably shouldn't be doing this, but deep down, I couldn't stand it anymore.
After about twenty minutes of driving, I arrived at the condo apartment. When I got around the building and found the apartment number and knocked on the door, you would think I'm breaking tradition of weddings and seeing Bella before she walks down the aisle. Well, not exactly as the person answered when she opened the door.
"Edward?" Renee said, looking totally surprised. "What are you doing here?"
"Listen Renee, I know you said that you can't come, but I really think you should." I said.
After hearing the news from Renee that despite Bella inviting her to our wedding, Renee decided that she couldn't come. Not that she has other plans or anything, but that she feels that she is not welcomed there. Understandably so with how she was in the past, it was a lot for our friends and family to accept her. Even the media was questioning about Renee whether she really has changed. Renee shows no hostility of being the Renee before since our encounter and she truly is showing she's a different person. I mean, she's trying her best to mend the fences between us and everyone she has hurt. Renee is trying to prove she's making an effort but at times, she feels like she doesn't deserve it. I guess losing Charlie and being cut off by her own daughter was what really came to her senses.
"Edward, I told you guys, I don't think I can." Renee said sadly.
"Why? Because you won't feel welcomed at our wedding? I know everyone has doubts about you, Renee, but you shouldn't let them stop you from coming." I said to her firmly.
"I get it," Renee said and bit her lip, the same way Bella does. "I just… don't want to make things awkward than it has been lately. Especially since… Charlie has… moved on."
"And he still cares about you and would want you to come." I pointed out.
Renee was silent as she didn't look me in the eye. "Still, I don't think –" I cut her off.
"Look, I know I was never your favorite back then, and honestly, I'm still not sure if I'm ready to forgive you for everything." I said and took a deep breath and continued. "But you are Bella's mother, and even if you two are still trying to mend the pieces of your relationship, you can do it by being at our wedding. Even if Bella understands why you chose not to come, I'm certain she would still want you there. Because if say you two finally made it water under the bridge in a few years, you would be spending the rest of your life regretting not coming to our wedding. And I don't want you and Bella to go through with that. If Bella and I want you to come, then take this chance as a sign how we want you a part of lives if you want to start over."
Renee looked up at me as she wiped a tear from her eye. She had a look of uncertainty as well. "Even if I decided to come, I… don't know what to wear, and… I don't have anyone to accompany me with." She said.
I just rolled my eyes letting out a chuckle. "I'm sure you have something in your closet that's full of dresses for you to decided on what to wear." I said and then pulled out something from my side and showed Renee a big black bag. "But Alice took the liberty of making a dress for you. Don't ask how she knows your size. As for the answer to your other problem, I'm sure Phil would be happy to come with you." I said, referring to one of her neighbors who became a friend of Renee since moving back here. I met him a few times and he's a good guy. We pretty much hit it off due to our interest in sports. I also noticed that the two of them show to have interest in one another, though they aren't together and both appear unsure of who or if they should make a move.
Renee just sighed as if she's admitting defeat as she had a small smile on her face. "You're just as stubborn like how Bella is." She said. "No matter how others say or tell her, she's always determined to what she believes in, even when times she could be wrong. Even after how I treated you then, you still go out of your way to accept me into your life. I can now see why Bella loves you, Edward. You have a good heart."
"And I love your daughter very much." I said. "Well, I hope to see you there." With that, I turned around and walked away. I only took a few steps when,
"Edward," I turned my head when Renee called me from her front door. "Thank you." She said with a smile. I gave her one in return as I nodded before I went back into my car and drove myself back to Charlie's house to get some rest.
End of Flashback
Despite how Renee has treated me in the past, I'm willing to forgive her and accept Renee that she has changed. She's not the same Renee who made things all about herself and think little about others based on her opinions. She's a whole new person. I know she's battling her own demons, but I'm sure she can overcome it. She's already doing her part being at our wedding so that's a huge step for her.
I must have zoned out seeing nearly the whole place packed and everyone is seated, waiting.
"You really got a bad habit with zoning more than me, dude. It's time." Demetri whispered to me.
I checked myself to be sure I look okay before looking up to see everyone rise from their seats and turning to face the entrance doors. The moment the music plays, the bridesmaids processed one by one led by Alice as Bella's maid of honor and then Rosalie and Victoria. Then, after they took their places, I saw the last two people emerging from the entrance. Charlie was here, dressed like all the other men in their tuxedoes. And being arm and armed with his, was her.
There she was, America's Princess all in white, a vision of a goddess come down to earth. Bella was clutching onto her father. Alice, Victoria and Rosalie must have done their magic with Bella. Her hair was carefully coiled, twisted, and braided, leaving her neckline exposed. The rich chestnut frame was a startling contrast to the white dress and gauzy veil that flowed down her back. The gown was a shimmery satin that hugged her body, showing off the smooth lines and curves of her figure. Although I didn't much care for make-up, her beauty became more than I would have thought possible. She looked like a frightened deer, ready to bolt at the slightest provocation, but the instant our eyes met, her entire demeanor changed. She had seemed stiff and scared as she clung to Charlie's arm before they appeared at the entrance. Now, meeting my eyes, her body softened and the scared look melted away. I was certain that my love for her was shining in my eyes, just as hers was for me. Unable to help myself, I grinned at her and was rewarded with an answering upward curve of her sweet lips. There, all my fears and worries were gone the moment I laid eyes on the woman before me.
The music continued to play as they got closer. I couldn't take my eyes off of hers. When they made it to the front, I unclasped my hands from behind my back and held one out to Charlie. He took my hand and smiled at me before turning to his daughter. He leaned close to place a kiss on her cheek. Her eyes closed as she leaned into him. When he looked back at me, his eyes were moist as he handed Bella hand in mine before he took his seat. It felt like I haven't seen Bella in a long time, and now, she's here and everything that we've been waiting for is here.
Only truly conscious of Bella's hand in mine, I was vaguely aware that Mr. Weber was speaking. His words flowed effortlessly, evidence of his long years giving sermons and presiding over other weddings. I knew only that they were binding Bella's life with mine. Hearing the cue, I turned to face her, twining my other hand with hers.
"Do you, Isabella Marie Swan, take this man, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, for as long as you both shall live?"
My bride was staring into my eyes as she gave herself to me and her chocolate eyes were filled with tears. Those tears spilled over when she vowed, "I do."
Mr. Weber then turned to me and asked me the same question. I knew my eyes were filled with tears too as my voice rang out, claiming Bella for my own. "I do."
Following Mr. Weber's prompt, Demetri, glad not to have lose it, gave Bella's ring to me as she took mine from Alice. "The wedding ring is a symbol of a love that never ends, the joining of two hearts as lovers, partners, and friends. Its giving is a promise that the future years will bring a love that will continue like the circle of a ring. Repeat after me..."
I slid the slender gold band onto her finger, where it nestled against the ring which I had already given to her. "I, Edward Cullen, give you, Bella Swan, this ring to wear as a symbol of my eternal love for you. With this ring, I thee wed."
I could feel the warmth of her body in the gold circle she had held in her hand when she slid my own wedding ring onto my finger, repeating the simple words in a whisper that I heard as clearly as if she were shouting them.
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!"
You don't have to tell me that. I thought as I took my hands out of hers so that I could place them against her cheeks and held her face, pausing just for a second, unable to believe that I could be so lucky. Bella was mine. Slowly, leaning down, I pressed my lips against my wife's. Her soft mouth shaped itself around my lips and her body rose to meet me. Winding her arms around my neck, Bella wrapped me in her love.
The world faded from my awareness. All I knew was that I was kissing Bella, that she had promised herself to me for eternity, and that I was the luckiest man to have ever walked the Earth. Our lips came together and parted as everyone in the room were applauding. All I did was star into Bella's eyes, never to have taken mine off of hers the whole time as I pressed my forehead against hers and I basked in the knowledge that Bella was mine forever. Mine! Her face and eyes had always been the best ways I had to read her. As clearly as if she spoke the words, I could read what she was thinking: I was hers, just as she belonged to me. That there, put a smile spread across my face.
"Congratulations man!" Demetri exclaimed as he and my friends bounded towards us. I had to let go of Bella when Demetri jumped on me for a hug. "Told ya things would work out! So happy for ya dude!" He grinned.
"Much appreciated." I smiled as Demetri lets go of me and turns to Bella who was being hugged by the girls.
"And Bella, take care of this pain in the ass for me." He said earning a playful shove by me.
Bella just chuckled. "I'll do my best." She said, as my friends gave out their congratulations to us before we met up with all of our friends and family, and guests who came at the reception. Everyone we go to wanted to give me and Bella their lengthy congratulations. With all the celebrities that Bella have invited, I was pretty much used to meeting them. After that, Bella and I found our table with my parents and Renesmee and both Charlie and Renee with Sue and Phil as we all ate from the food that was provided by the caterers.
I had waited for this day for so long, it was difficult for me to believe it was real. That she was real. Even when needing her hands as we ate, we couldn't keep our bodies apart, and Bella would lean toward me so that our shoulders touched, or her thigh would press against mine, and even, unseen under the table, she slid her foot around mine so that our legs were entwined. My eyes rarely left her lovely face as I memorized every smile, the sound of her voice when she spoke and laughed with our guests, and the way her eyes would shine when they met mine. I couldn't imagine a more perfect reception than this.
After having our meal, Demetri came up on stage and started his part of giving out a toast. And being a pain in the ass he is, began roasting me for the fun before being sincere of showing how he happy he was for me and Bella. After he was done, Alice was up and pretty much expressed how she pictured this wedding to be perfect and being happy for us. Soon all of our friends each gave out a toast and later our parents and my sister took their turn as well. When that was over, it was time to cut the cake and Bella and I went up toward the five tiered wedding cake which had been placed upon a table all its own. I placed my hand over hers on the knife as she cut a piece for each of us. Bella's eyes were slightly dazed as I pushed a slice of cake into her mouth, successfully avoiding getting any on her face. I kept my eyes opened even thought she playfully shoved a piece of cake at my face causing everyone to erupt in laughter, even myself.
The DJ announced for the bride to dance with her father as the groom dance with his mother. After watching Bella getting to share a dance with Charlie, it was my turn with my mother as the song she chose was played.
"You picked a good song, mom." I said as we dance together.
"Thank you, sweetheart." Esme smiled as tears were shown in her eyes. "I'm just so happy for you."
"I'm happy as well." I said. "I love you, mom. You know that, right?"
"I'm mother, Edward. I know you too well." Esme said. "You got everything ready?"
"It's all set." I said. After all, this is a surprise for Bella when this is over. "I appreciate it."
"Anytime." Esme said.
The song ended and as my mom and pulled apart, Charlie came over and took my mom's hand.
"Stay right there, son." Charlie smiled. I was confused while my mom was curious as she pulled away by Charlie to sit back at their table.
That's when I heard a sound of a microphone and I turned to see Bella on stage.
"Hi everyone," Bella smiled, though I saw she looked nervous. "I just wanted to say thank you all for being here to celebrate this special day for me and Edward. We're both happy to share this with our friends and family knowing how you all have been showing nothing but happiness and support of our relationship since the very beginning.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've always dreamed about my wedding, how it would be like in the fairy tales. But, none of it compares to what is happening now, especially with the man I'm in love with." I smiled knowing a felt the same way about our wedding.
"There are things I wanted to say about Edward, how he made me the happiest woman on earth, for what he has done for me, how he loves me for me, but… I'm not usually good with words. I want to tell not just you all, but to Edward himself, to know how much he means to me. That's when it came to me that there is only way to tell you all how I feel, and that's by the one thing I'm good at. So, I want to dedicate this to my amazing husband." Bella smiled at me while I was curious at what she's doing.
That's when I heard a piano playing as the lights dimmed in the room only showing the lights from the stage and on the dance floor. It was then I realized what Bella's doing, taken me by surprise as Bella starts singing.
(A/N: Play Every Time We Touch the piano version!)
"I still hear your voice when you sleep next to me
I still feel your touch in my dreams
Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why
Without you, it's hard to survive
'Cause every time we touch
I get this feeling
And every time we kiss
I swear I could fly
Can't you feel my heart beat fast
I want this to last
Need you by my side
'Cause every time we touch
I feel this static
And every time we kiss
I reach for the sky
Can't you hear my heart beat so
I can't let you go
Want you in my life"
As Bella was singing, she came down on stage as she approached me, taking my hand as she looks at me while I was completely blown away. I just can't believe she's singing, for me. This is just… unreal.
"Your arms are my castle
Your heart is my sky
They wipe away tears that I cry
The good and the bad times
We've been through them all
You make me rise when I fall
'Cause every time we touch
I get this feeling
And every time we kiss
I swear I can fly
Can't you feel my heart beat fast
I want this to last
Need you by my side
'Cause every time we touch
I feel this static
And every time we kiss
I reach for the sky
Can't you hear my heart beat so
I can't let you go
Want you in my life"
Bella was belting out strongly on her song while I was just speechless as I stood there. Bella paused for a moment as she looks at me while my eyes were swimming in tears before Bella walked over to me and took my hand.
'Cause every time we touch
I get this feeling
And every time we kiss
I swear I could fly
Can't you feel my heart beat fast
I want this to last
Need you by my side
'Cause every time we touch
I feel this static
And every time we kiss
I reach for the sky
Can't you hear my heart beat so
I can't let you go
Want you in my life"
(A/N: End song.)
The song ended causing the room to erupt with applause as my forehead rest on Bella's when she finished. All I did was stare into her eyes.
"I love you." I said to her. "So, so much."
"I love you too." Bella smiled as she kisses me. Truly, an amazing performance. I thought as the next song played and this time, Bella and I got to share a dance together, as husband and wife.
My wife. My wife. Bella is wife, she's my life. My everything now. And I'm truly the happiest man ever.
The reception went on for a few hours as many people got to share a dance with us along with their respected partners. Even Renee got to share a dance with Phil to which he kissed her cheek causing Renee to blush, even though she was trying to be discreet about it. After the reception was over, Alice pulled Bella away from me without giving me a chance to argue. I assume she was going to help Bella change as Jasper explained to me.
"Come on Romeo," He teased. "Go change unless you want to spend your wedding night here."
I sighed as I left the reception to get changed out of my tuxedo and into more appropriate for travel. I met up with my friends and family where I saw the guys along with Jacob, Emmett and Jasper were decorating my car causing me to snicker as the girls stored my and Bella's suitcases in it. My car was now covered in flowers and ribbons tied to the mirrors, handles, and vents. Shoes and yet more ribbons hung from the spoiler over the bumper. There would be no doubt in anyone's mind as we drove down the road that this car's occupants were newly married.
Charlie came over to me. "Alicea and Rosalie are getting done with Bella." He said and I nodded my head. "Do take care of my girl."
"Always." I said as Charlie squeezed my shoulder. He turned around and I looked to see Bella looking completely different out of her wedding gown and into a perfect going-away outfit of deep blue as her hair was out of the tight braids and coils, and her long, chestnut mane hung in rippling waves down her back. How is she do beautiful?
Charlie walked over to Bella and I watched them have a moment before Bella wraps her arms around her father for a hug. Charlie gave Bella a kiss before she came over to me.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"I am," she said firmly.
I kissed Bella one last time before we started walking towards the crowd. The minute we did, rice was thrown at us from every direction, and I shielded her from the storm as best as I could as I helped her into the car. Once I got into my side of the car behind the wheel, Bella rolls down her window as we say goodbye to everyone one last time before we were driving away and won't see everyone for a while.
Leaving the driveway, I pulled onto the highway and shoved the pedal to the floor. The Aston Martin jumped forward, responding instantly to my command, and I sped with my new wife down the highway that led to the L.A. airport. Once we arrived, I left my car in the hands of security of the airport garage before I wheeled our luggage through the skybridges that led to the terminal for our flight. I kept Bella's hand clasped firmly in mine, easily steering the luggage cart through the various barriers and crowd. Every time I glanced at her, she had a look of curiosity on her face, but she refrained from asking me any questions until we actually reached the gate.
"We're going to Rio De Janeiro?" Bella asked when we arrived at where we're boarding.
"This is only a stop to our destination." I smiled causing Bella to be confused as we got on the plane and got seated in our wide, comfortable, first class seats, I put my arm around her shoulders and hugged Bella against me. We linked our hands together, and I played with the rings on her finger, waiting patiently for the flight to take off.
This was a very long ass flight. Bella and I would sleep during and when we wake up, we would stare at the exotic city through the window. I watched her delighted expression and pointed out several of the landmarks. A look of surprise crossed her face when we finally arrived and I retrieved our luggage from the baggage claim area, rather than leading her to yet another terminal. The taxi took us through streets and I felt like I was going back in time, but not in my time, rather than it was in a different time. It was photos back then my parents showed their pictures they took together before I was born.
I was amused how Bella was annoyed when I gave the driver directions but she couldn't understand due to the fact I was speaking in Portugues, even though he understood English. As we were awaiting our destination, we took in the site of the city. The driver took us to the docks, where I had arranged to have the latest boat taken out of storage and readied for the last leg of our journey. I carried the large trunks down the docks, leading Bella toward the waiting boat. I leapt in to deposit our belongings before turning to offer my hand to her. She held onto me tightly, stepping with uncertainty from the more stable dock to the lightly rocking craft. Neither of us seemed to be inclined to speech and I wondered if she could be even half as nervous as I was.
After double checking the level of gas in the tank - it was full, as per my instructions - and the levels of all of the additional fluids which a motor required to function, I looked over the condition of the sleek boat, making sure that it had taken no damage, either during its stay in storage or its transport to the dock. All of the joints were tight; I saw no signs of any cracks or peeling that would indicate a structural problem. Briefly starting the motor experimentally, I peered over the side to verify that the water was flowing freely though the cooling system. A few taps on the screen showed me that all of the computer functions were working. The seats hid some standard boating supplies, and I was pleased to see that the life jackets and coils of rope still looked like new. Bella came close to me as I gave her a grin and made sure everything was good to go before I started the motor and aimed the sleek craft toward the open water.
Finally, Bella spoke about it. "Are we going much farther?"
"About another half hour," I told her, determined to keep my secret as long as possible. That's when later on I saw it and I called her attention to our destination. "Bella, look there."
She squinted in the direction which I had pointed, her eyes roaming the horizon without focusing on the island. I waited and watched as she scanned for the island that stood out so clearly to me. When we were only a few minutes away, she blinked, and a look of comprehension and awe crossed her face.
"Where are we?" she asked in a low voice.
Adjusting my angle of approach toward the island, I grinned again.
"Welcome to Isle Esme." I said. Steering toward the dock, I slowed the boat, easily finding the deep bay for which I was aiming. Moments later, the boat nudged the edge of the floating dock, and I killed the engine. The silence was almost startling until I heard the low buzzing of the insects, the whispering of the wind through the trees, and the rhythmic sounds of the ocean.
"Isle Esme?" Bella asked and had that look as she was putting it all together. "You mean…"
"My dad bought this for my mom after their honeymoon." I explained. "Sometimes my parents would take me and Renesmee here on vacation when we were young. Esme offered to let us have this for the trip."
Bella was just stunned. What? Like she and her family never went on vacations like this? Holding back my delighted laugh, I snagged the trunks from where they lay on the deck and sprang onto the dock as the people who were there, waiting for us, came and assisted on taking the suitcases and brining them to the place.
I reached for Bella, pulling her right up into my arms as we started walking through the pathway as I let Bella took in the moment to see the sights of this scene. It wasn't long until we reached the house of the beach. Finally climbing the stairs onto the wide porch, I stopped and turn to Bella and opened the door. Wrapping my other arm around her, I stared at her face until she looked back at me. Holding her eyes, I gave her another kiss.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"I'm ready to have a good time on this trip with you." Bella said, with such love in her eyes.
I gave her one last kiss before taking my wife's hand and opened the door of our beach house, ready to enjoy our honeymoon together.
