Miraculous Ultra Adventures: Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Ultraman Tiga

Chapter 5: The Return of Ultraman Tiga Pt.2 - Tiga to the Rescue
Francoise Dupont High School
The Lady of Thorns set up base in the courtyard as she used some nectar from the nectarines on her new network of vines to heal herself from the laser gunshot burns. She hissed in slight pain before the soothing nectar took its effect to heal the burns. Once her green skin healed, she used her plant powers to close up the holes in her outfit. Lady Thorn sighed as she relaxed a bit and sat back on her throne of vines and flowers. A holographic butterfly mask then appeared over her face again. "Yes Hawkmoth?"
"Lady Thorn, you continue to disappoint me for not obtaining Ladybug and Cat Noirs Miraculous!" Hawkmoth was not pleased.
Lady Thorn shook her head. "I was trying to help some friends realize their love when I was shot at. Whatever that man's weapon was, he managed to injure me enough to escape."
"Well in any case, you would soon remember that I can take away your powers and your expression of showing love!" Hawkmoth warned her.
Lady Thorn sighed. "Forgive me, Master... I let my guard down."
"However, I'm willing to give you another chance, to find Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, and defeat Ultraman," Hawkmoth said, "now find a way to draw them out somehow."
"Of course," Lady Thorn said. "And..." a new voice cut in, "I shall give you the additional strength you need for this quest at hand."
Lady Thorn was surprised by this new voice. "Who are you?"
"I am Noboru Watanabe," the cocky voice said, "I am Hawkmoth's ally and the augmentor of your akuma butterfly."
Lady Thorn was now intrigued. "Okay... so what exactly did you do?"
"Allow me to demonstrate..." Lady Thorn then felt a fiery feeling as energy flames engulfed her. "What is this power?!" She then felt more empowered, than anything else. "This feels... Blossoming!" She yelled with excitement.
"Why my dear... that is our Sacred Fire increasing your power tenfold," Noboru said. "And furthermore... this Sacred Fire will allow you to empower your followers and to gain energy from those who would stand in the way of love! May the Sacred Fire bless you in your crusade against Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Ultraman Tiga!"
"Yes Noboru! I won't fail the power of blossoming love!" Lady Thorn then summoned more plants, which began to overgrow the entire area.
Hawkmoth's Lair
Hawkmoth looked over to Noboru. "I see that you can communicate with my akumas through your Sacred Fire," he remarked.
"One of the benefits of having what is most effective against Ultraman," Noboru replied, "and one that would drive Ultraman into the opening."
"Though neither Chat Noir nor Ladybug seem to have shown themselves," Hawkmoth noted with a chin stroke.
"Yes it is a shame, but it won't matter. Neither them or Ultraman can stop what is coming. Soon Gazort will rise, and when it does, not even Ultraman will stop its ultimate power!"
Now that made Hawkmoth wonder... what was this Gazort?
Lady Thorn laughed evilly as she felt the fire in her being. She made every single plant, continue to grow gigantic, even becoming monstrous in appearance. That even made the plants in residents homes become affected too. Screams were heard from the surrounding apartments as the plants grew out of control.
Meanwhile, several of the girls and their boyfriends under their control gathered in the courtyard. Lady Thorn stood up from her throne and raised her hands. "Lovers of the green! Go to every corner of the city! Make every single person join us and share the neverending blossoming love! Should you find Ladybug, Cat Noir, or even Ultraman, do not hesitate to seize them! Bring them down and make them one of us!" She then pointed to Alya and Nino. "Both of you, step forward, please."
The hypnotized couple then stepped forward. "How may we serve Lady Thorn?" They both said.
"You two shall be the first to receive some... embellishments that a benefactor of ours has promised." Lady Thorn then raised her hand as her fiery aura intensified. "May you receive this Sacred Fire!" Then, as her eyes glowed green, green flame-like energy came out of her hands and went straight towards both Alya and Nino. It swirled around them, as they both glowed green and received their embellishments, as she said. Nino now wore bark-like armor, bark-like braces, and even a mallet hand made out of bark on his right arm. Ayla's appearance also changed, where she now wore a plant dress that made her look like a jungle Amazon or an elf, with green skin, barefoot, and with not only darts, but even a bow and arrows.
The other couples were stunned by seeing Nino and Alya transformed.
"Wow! They look so beautiful! I want me and my boyfriend like that!"
"I too want to be a knight for my lady..."
Lady Thorn heard them, and grinned in excitement as she gathered them all. "Very well, who wishes to be next?"
It was then that Aurore and Jean knelt before her. "We do!" They both said.
"We will strike down anyone who would come between us," Aurore giggled.
Lady Thorn then approached them, and raised her hand. She laughed as she felt the rush of power she was passing on.
Outside the school...
Chat Noir watched in horror as the school was engulfed in vines and flowers. "Fiorella, what have you done?" He whispered. His cat sense of danger then spiked as he looked down and saw vines crawling up to his feet. "Yow!" Chat Noir sprung away. The vines then sprung up and chased after him, slithering like snakes. "Her akuma is this powerful!?"
Chat then used his claws to slash at the vines. He then looked around and saw the other plants becoming hostile and attacking him; flowers with teeth, gigantic Venus flytraps, and even fruit that grew legs and fangs that crawled like spiders. He dodged all of them, but received a few scratches from the attacking mutant plants. "This akuma is more powerful than the last ones Ladybug... Marinette and I fought!"
Chat Noir rubbed some of the sore spots through his durable Miraculous suit as the vines menacingly floated in front of him. He could also hear panicked screaming from civilians on the streets around the school as it was being teansformed into an aboretum of horror. Chat grit his teeth as he jumped away, forced to retreat.
"Gotta save these people from becoming lunch to these literal bad seeds!" Chat hated leaving his friends and Marinette to hang, but the safety of the people was now paramount at the moment. He extended his baton and jumped down to the streets. He saved a couple from a tree, which had its branches extend like wicked hands. He then slashed the tree branches to prevent them from coming closer. He then saved a couple of children from being strangled by fern-sized grass, cutting them down with his claws.
"Everybody run!" Chat yelled. They did as they were told, while avoiding more monster plants. Chat Noir then ran further into downtown to find it overrun with more mutant plant growth. Little did he know that a certain red spotted crazed heroine was following him.
Daigo healed his cuts and bruises as the pandemonium unfolded. He drove Sherlock Discreet a safe distance away when his radio beeped. He picked up the radio. "Daigo, reporting in!"
Hideki Go spoke over the radio, "Daigo, what is going on over there? Sherlock Discreet's sensors are picking up massive energy spikes and plant growth in that area!" "It's another one of Hawkmoth's akumas, Base," Daigo reported as he drove, "she's causing the plants around her to mutate out of control."
"Well that explains the overgrowth, but what about the kids throwing darts at people that I'm also seeing?" Hideki Go also said. Upon hearing that, Daigo switched on the news from Nadja Chamack.
"This is Nadja Chamack, please don't be bemused and don't panic as we report on the latest akuma attack." Daigo watched as not only was the out-of-control plant life spreading throughout the city, but even the teens with plant-based outfits as they attacked people. "Many eyewitnesses are reporting seeing lots of plants, turn evil, and begin attacking everyone in sight. Then witnesses also reported seeing teens, with strange behavior and strange clothing, that are shooting arrows and darts at other people and using mallets to attack others."
"It's the akuma, calling herself the Lady of Thorns," Daigo told Go, "she's turning the girls into her minions, and they are turning boyfriends and crushes into their own minions to attack people."
It was then that Daigo dropped the bombshell. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Ladybug, is under her spell."
"That is not good at all," Hideki replied, "do what you have to do, and good luck!"
"I will," Daigo affirmed as he pulled into an alley, "and I need to get to Chat Noir first before the akuma can." Parking the car, Daigo got out and was faced with a few carnivorous looking mutant plants. He quickly drew his gun and blasted them to pieces. Then vines slithered from the roofs and windows until he shot them as well. Then he made his way to a safe spot to transform into Ultraman.
Holstering the GUTS Hyper, Daigo drew the Sparklence out of his suit, flicked it open, and pressed to his chest. The light engulfed him as he transformed into Tiga again. As Tiga, he jumped out of his hiding place. A few vines and venus flytraps tried to strike him, but Tiga easily sliced through and stomped on them. He then flew up into the sky.
With Chat Noir...
Chat sliced through the mutant plants as he tried to cover for people fleeing the infestation. "This green nightmare is endless! These plants are everywhere!" It was then that he heard hooting and hollering like that of tribal warriors.
Chat turned to see the other teens from school, with the boys wearing wood like armor, and the girls in plant-like dresses that made them look like elves or amazons. They surrounded a couple who were scared out of their minds. Nathaniel grabbed the couple, while Juleka threw her rose dart at the girl. Chat watched as the girl turned into a plant-like amazon, and after Nathaniel let her go she then tackled the boy and kissed him. The boy likewise transformed into another bark knight. Juleka and Nathaniel laughed evilly as they emitted purple-red aura flames."Fiorella can even give her powers to the others," Chat Noir muttered nervously, "this is really bad!"
The mob then spotted Cat Noir and charged right at him. Juleka drew out her bow and arrows to shoot at him which he dodged, then Nathaniel held out his bark mallet arm to swing at him.
"We've been asked by Lady Thorn to bring your Miraculous," Nathaniel said as he attacked. "And when we do, we will spread the everlasting blossoming love everywhere!"
"Then we just need to find Ladybug to complete our mission," Juleka added as she fired more arrows at Chat, "and all will be beautiful!" Chat was forced to evade as the brainwashed students threatened to surround him. Then more of the brainwashed students, accompanied by even more brainwashed people, began to show up after hearing the commotion.
Chat held up his claws defensively. "This is bad..." He paid so much attention to the mob that he failed to notice the vines at his feet, which then wrapped around them and kept him from moving. "Shoot!" Chat tried to cut them, but was hoisted upside down.
Chat tried to reach up to cut the vines, but more vines swatted his hands from trying. "Darn it!" Chat hung upside down as Max and Sabrina approached him. They glared at him, "Your interference with our plans to spreading the blossoming love is over!"
Sabrina seductively embraced Max in his armor. "And now we will be with our lovers forever!" She said.
"May I do the honors, Sabrina?" Max grinned.
"Definitely my love!" Sabrina said, grinning back.
Chat continued to struggle as Max reached with his gauntlet. Suddenly, a blue beam shot struck Max's arm from above, causing him to yelp and withdraw his burnt arm. "Cha!" Ultraman Tiga cried out as he fist slammed the ground in front of Chat, sending Max and Sabrina back with the others. The mighty multi-colored Ultraman rose from the dust cloud he created. Chat Noir's eyes widened upon seeing Tiga. "Ultraman!"
Ultraman Tiga looked back to Chat and nodded. He executed a swift Slap Shot, chopping the vines holding Chat Noir in place. Cat Noir spun upright as he landed.
Max and Sabrina got back up as Nathaniel, Juleka, and the others regarded the appearance of Tiga. "You!" Max pointed at Ultraman Tiga, as the others gathered and snarled at the interloper.
Tiga stood tall and mighty. He scanned the surroundings as he took in the threats. He could see at least a hundred of the turned students, give and take a few, along with a few adults. The vines sprawling about also crawled up slowly upon him and Cat Noir.
Cat Noir stood back-to-back with Tiga. He felt his Miraculous and being tingle strongly with the Ultraman's presence. "So got any plans for how to get us out of it? Without hurting these people too much and costing our 'Nine Lives'"?
"Get them!" Nathaniel cried to his fellow bark knights as the boys and men rushed forward. Tiga suddenly grabbed Cat by the waist, and with a nod, raised his arm to the sky and shot off with the black cat hero in tow. "Whoa!" Cat Noir did not expect Tiga to take to the skies with him.
They flew far off, with the angry brainwashed people shouting for vengeance. Then they flew towards the Eiffel Tower, which was also covered in plant life. Tiga cleared out some of the foliage with his beam shots as they landed. Cat Noir was released, and he stepped back to allow himself to get a close look at the Ultraman that Nino had identified as Tiga.
"So, you're this Ultraman Tiga that I've been hearing a lot about," Chat asked, "right?"
Tiga only responded with a nod, but his bright white eyes seemed to pierce into Cat's eyes.
"And... you actually know who I am?" Cat Noir asked, suspecting that Tiga knew who he really was based on the strange feeling he had. Tiga's eyes flashed briefly into Cat's own through the mask lenses. Cat Noir was mentally struck by the sensation. Somehow, Tiga communicated mentally to him without a single word. Cat stumbled back a bit, but his face then took on a knowing expression. "I see..." Then Cat Noir sat down, as he tried to process all of what he had learned. Not only was Ultraman Tiga a real character with real power, but he somehow knew that Chat Noir was Adrien Agreste... and most likely knew the same with Ladybug/Marinette. Cat Noir could also feel the immense power Tiga gave off through his aura because of how the Miraculous reacted. He looked down and saw that the Miraculous ring was now shining a bright green with Ultraman Tiga close to him.
Then his cat ears picked up something as something else landed on the roof. Chat Noir turned, and his breath hitched as he saw Ladybug standing on the roof. Chat Noir saw that the akuma rose was still pinned right over Ladybug's heart, and she had that desperate look on her face. Ultraman Tiga also faced Ladybug and went into a fighting stance. In his Ultra vision, he perceived the dark energy that was coming off Ladybug, with the rose being the source.
"Ladybug!" Chat Noir called out.
Ladybug looked to both Chat and Tiga, with a look of rage across her face. "You!" She pointed at the two of them. "You took away my Adrien!"
Tiga knew from earlier that Ladybug was under the akuma's sway, and that the rose had to be removed. However, Ladybug deployed her yoyo and spun it around threateningly. "Tell me where he is, or I'll beat it out of you!"
"Ladybug please! Don't do this! I know you're in there somewhere! Fight the rose controlling you!" Chat Noir hoped to reach through to Ladybug, but the red-purple flames surrounding her and the rose surprised him. He had never seen this before. Tiga on the other hand, continued to hold his fighting pose, undeterred.
"Fight it? Why fight the Blossoming love?! It's great to embrace it! And once I find Adrien, it'll be like the two of us together in our own garden of peace and love forever!" She then took out her yo-yo, which was strangely colored green with dark red and purple spots. Chat Noir thought it odd, but then the color change spread through to the rest of Ladybug's outfit. The red turned to dark green while the spots became dark red and purple. "Now I will defeat you both, and bring you two to Lady Thorn herself in vines. Literally!"
Ladybug grinned maniacally as she spun her corrupted yoyo hard and fast. "And my sweetie pie Adrien will be all mine!"
Chat Noir sweat at the thought that he was going to fight Ladybug, while Tiga hardened his fists at the increase of dark power.
"Tiga," Chat Noir glanced sideways to his new Ultra ally, "please don't hurt her too badly." Tiga nodded, as both of them then dashed forward to meet Ladybug blow to blow.
Lair of the Fourteen Dark Kings...
Hawkmoth and Noboru sat with the other twelve kings as the whole akuma attack on downtown Paris unfolded. Noboru looked at the results, interested in the events. "Very interesting, to think that my abilities would achieve such positive results." The invisible drone the cabal used to monitor the attack zoomed in on parts of the town, some where couples were being converted, and others where police men or those without obvious love interests were being attacked. Those unlucky to be caught by the Thorn maidens, knights, or mutant plants were being dragged off.
Alien Desimo just waved it off. "A giant garden, right... is that the best Hawkmoth can do against Tiga?"
A certain bat alien agreed, "Indeed, to me this is nothing more than a human circus!" The Alien Bat known as Darphia was not a fan of Hawkmoth, that much Gabriel Agreste knew. However, Noboru kept up his cocky smirk as he turned to her. "You did start feeding the Clitters as I asked, right?"
Darphia just gave a wave. "Yes, as I was instructed as told. They're all fed with the right amount of electricity."
Noboru then looked down at his fist. He unclenched it to reveal the second fire akuma that he kept from being released. "Then I suppose that we can give them a little catalyst to boost their power." He turned to Hawkmoth. "Are you prepared and ready for the next phase?"
Hawkmoth gave Noboru a look. "I suppose this has to do with the... Clitters you mentioned." Noboru just chuckled as he pressed on a remote to change screens. The screen now showed a tank containing swarms of tadpole-like creatures floating about. "Look at them Hawkmoth, they are such beauties that I intend to share with you, for us to finally be rid of not only the Miraculous users, but Ultraman Tiga as well."
"What are they exactly?" Hawkmoth asked.
"These were creatures that resided in the Ionosphere back on my Earth," Noboru explained, "they feed off of electromagnetic waves, and went undetected until mankind started using electromagnetic technology." He then clicked on the remote, and a new image of a more monstrous tadpole-shaped creature with teeth and glowing yellow eyes appeared. "As a result of the artificial electromagnetic waves, the Clitters mutated..." More pictures of the creature fighting Ultraman Tiga also showed. "The Clitters cannibalize themselves to form this powerhouse of a kaiju to feed off of energy the humans generate. It's name... is Gazort."
Hawkmoth gazed at past images of at the creature that Ultraman Tiga fought and defeated. "So..." Hawkmoth began to put it together, "you want to use my akuma to power this Gazort to be something even more powerful."
"When you put it like that, yes." Noboru said.
Alien Reguran chimed in. "That kaiju is actually one of the few strong enough to actually injure an Ultraman through his armor. Believe me when I say that his armor is no easy thing to break."
Hawkmoth then put his hand on his chin, intrigued by the Kaiju's prowess. "Very well then." He reached a hand out to Noboru, "my akuma please." Noboru handed the fire-enhanced akuma butterfly back to Hawkmoth. The cowled supervillain then prompted the akuma, "go and akumatize those little Clitters. Feed them the energy that is siphoned from one of your own out there!" The akuma butterfly then flew out of his hands, and went straight to the Clitters. The akuma entered the tank, and with Noboru's Sacred Fire, it connected with its other half in the field and began to feed the Clitters more energy.
Francoise Dupont High School
Lady Thorn sitting on her flower-like throne, had gathered some of the brainwashed student body as the school itself became overgrown with mutant plant life. As that happened, she then felt herself slump slightly as something caused her to feel a bit drained. 'What was that?', Lady Thorn thought. However, she just shook her head.
It was then that one of the maidens with her knight knelt before her. "Lady Thorn, we have rounded up all those around the school who have no love."
Lady Thorn clapped her hands excitedly. "Excellent! That means we are close to our blossoming love reaching far and when Ladybug Cat Noir and that interloper are dealt with, the whole world will feel the blossoming love! But... before all that," the plant girl akuma raised a finger, "bring Chloe Bourgois and Damocles before me!"
The maidens and knights did as they were told, literally dragging both Chloe and Mr. Damocles out, gagged in vines and tied to their wrists and ankles with vines. They threw them both down in front of Lady Thorn. The akuma queen of the lethal plants looked upon Chloe with disdain. "So the infamous and popular queen bee, Chloe herself, once now fallen into the clutches of my green hands." She sneered.
Chloe looked up with fear at the green skinned girl that used to be the kindest person who made flowers for everyone. Now she was akumatized into someone very powerful and malevolent.
"I hope you like the flowers I have now... because they are real killers now," Lady Thorn mocked.
Chloe looked in even more fear, as roses and all types of flowers, mutant then began to creep towards her, with their maws filled with needle like teeth. "Wait," Chloe tried to reason her way out of this, "this is not you, flower girl!" Lady Thorn then grabbed her face, bringing her close."This is the new me, Chloe! Ever since you ferociously destroyed my beautiful decorations for Adrien, Marinette, and my new friends, I have had myself a makeover. Now I'm painting the whole town literal green!" Mr. Damocles then gave loud muffles of likely protest. Lady Thorn rolled her eyes and ungagged him. "Anything you like to say, Mr. Damocles?"
"Ms. la Chapelle, right?" Damocles shoufed, "please stop this at once! That's the mayor's daughter!"
"Why would I stop? She hurt Marinette Dupain-Cheng out of petty jealousy over Adrien, who was never hers to begin with, and slandered me for helping people find love! Now she has to pay the price for all that she has done!" With a wave of the hand, Lady Thorn caused the ground to open up, revealing a pit of huge Venus flytraps.
The knights and maidens brought Chloe over to the pit. The monster flytraps perked up hungrily at Chloe waiting for her to be dropped down to them to feast upon. Chloe struggled as the maidens and knights threatened to cast her in. "Fiorella please! I'm so sorry about what I did with you and Marinette! I just wanted Adrien to myself!" She begged.
Lady Thorn then smirked. "You know... this may be too quick a punishment. Pull her back!" The knights and maidens did as they were told and threw Chloe back before her. "You know, Adrien told me about your antics before I came to this school," Lady Thorn said, "and you know what is your biggest problem?" Lady Thorn grabbed Chloe by the neck and forced her to look up into her eyes. "You! It's all about you and you being with Adrien isn't it?! You thought that Adrien would have feelings for you?" Lady Thorn spat.
Chloe was whimpering and crying, being systematically broken down by the akumatized flower girl.
"Clearly you are even stupider than I gave you credit for if you can be surprised by this. Your daddy paid well for your lifestyle, but he certainly was stupid not to pay for your therapy!" Lady Thorn threw Chloe to the ground hard. As Chloe looked up, Lady Thorn stepped on her face, forcing her back down with her boot.
Mr. Damocles struggled agaist his restraints. "Ms. la Chapelle, stop this!"
"Stop what," Lady Thorn retorted, "you cannot stop Mother Nature herself when she gets angry! And now, I will keep on spreading the blossoming love, until everyone feels the love that nature gives and takes! But first, what to do with the both of you?" It was then that more boys and girls were dragged in with the vines. These were some of the people without any obvious love interests. "Now then, let us help you all, with being one with nature, and help spread the blossoming love!"
Lady Thorn produced a rose over Chloe. However, the red rose suddenly flashed black. "Time to learn the price of not feeling any love at all, Chloe," she sneered, "hold her down!"
Chloe was restrained and held up towards Lady Thorn with the black rose still in her hand. Chloe's eyes widened as she struggled against the maiden and knight to no avail. She then screamed in pain as Lady Thorn stabbed her with the black rose. The black rose flashed a dark purple as a surge of pain wracked Chloe's body, causing her to feel weak. Chloe sweat heavily, before turning pale and collapsing as the black rose drained her of energy.
The other students that were not love-crazed gasped and screamed in horror. "Chloe," Kim shouted, "what did you do!?"
Lady Thorn laughed evilly. "Consider this a lesson to those who would never embrace the blossoming love. Now it's time for you all to join us!"
Kim was a bit of a rash jock, but he knew that this was not good. He struggled against the vines as the other classmates screamed.
Effiel Tower
Chat Noir dodged the crazed Ladybug's yoyo as it smashed the roof floor where he was previously. Ladybug swung her yoyo wildly at Chat Noir, but Tiga fired a low power Spacium Beam to force her off balance as it missed to her left. Ladybug regained her balance and charged straight at Tiga, with an axe kick.
Tiga dodged Ladybug. As she landed, the seasoned Ultraman kicked her in the back, sending her stumbling. Then Cat Noir jumped in and swung his staff at her. He hit Ladybug on the back and pushed her to the floor. Chat Noir grit his teeth as he held her down. He hated having to do this. "Ladybug please listen! I know your still the same you! Let me help you!"
Ladybug stared back at Chat with disdain. She flicked her yoyo upwards, letting it fall back down and hit Chat Noir on the head. "Ow!" He loosened his staff hold on Ladybug's back, which allowed her to elbow him hard. "I don't need help!" Ladybug spat back as she shot her yoyo into Chat Noir's chest, sending him flying. Tiga caught the black cat hero midair before he could go over the edge. He fired off another beam at the crazed spotted heroine, who just flipped sideways. Tiga quickly set Chat Noir down. "Thanks," Chat expressed to the Ultra hero, who just nodded in acknowledgement and ran forward.
"Take this!" Ladybug spun her yoyo towards Tiga, who raised his arm to catch it, only for the weapon the wrap itself around. Tiga then felt Ladybug pull hard, causing him to skid forward. Grunting a bit as he felt the wire from the yoyo cut a bit into his armored skin, Tiga grabbed part of the string and pulled back, causing both combatants to be locked in place.
As she pulled harder, Ladybug went for a jab, only for Tiga to block it. Tiga then pulled Ladybug's fist into the air, surprising the crazed hero with his strength, before flipping her over and throwing her into the air. Then he jumped up and kicked her down.
"Tiga, we need to destroy the rose on her chest!" Chat Noir called out, "it's how we free her!"
As Ladybug stood back up, the Ultra hero and black cat Miraculous hero rushed her. Chat Noir drew his staff with renewed vigor, ready to strike and smash the rose corrupting his love. With a frenzied speed, Ladybug dodged and deflected several blows from Tiga's punches and kicks and Chat Noir's staff with her yoyo. The skirmish was fast and furious as the Ultraman and black cat fighter tried to pin down the corrupted spotted heroine and destroy the rose.
Ladybug then wrapped her yoyo around both of Tiga's arms and got a grip on Chat Noir, choking him. "I will get my Adrien back, and you will not stop me you stray cat," Ladybug yelled, "and certainly not your new friend!" However, Tiga did not give up. Feeling the tension on the sharp string, Tiga let himself be pulled and let his foot fly forward with his dexterity. His foot struck home on the side of Ladybug's head, sending her to the roof floor stunned.
"I'm sorry, Milady," Chat Noir quipped with a sigh as he rubbed his neck, "I think my new friend did."
Tiga nodded silently as he released himself from the yoyo. However, just as they were going to pick up Ladybug, the rose glowed a violent red-purple. Like a zombie rising from the dead, Ladybug stumbled back up, with her red and purple dots glowing menacingly as her dark aura intensified. "It will take more than that to stop me and Lady Thorn!" Ladybug screamed as she drew back her yoyo, which grew spikes and spinning blades. With a scream, she rushed the two heroes with her corrupted bladed yoyo.
"Milady, no!" Chat Noir barely managed to block the deadly yoyo swipes with his baton. Tiga backflipped as the attacks became more violent.
"Stop calling me that, you worthless stray!" Ladybug roared as she sliced her yoyo through part of the observation they were standing on. Suddenly the platform gave way, letting Tiga and Chat fall. Ultraman Tiga grunted as he recovered and grabbed Chat in midair, before soaring away. Ladybug watched as Ultraman Tiga and Chat Noir retreated. "You both cannot hide from me forever! I will find you both and get my Adrien back if it is the last thing I ever do!"
Lady Thorn perked up as she sensed something through her roses. "Ladybug is one of us?" The akumatized Fiorella laughed evilly.
"What is it Lady Thorn?" One of the maidens asked.
"It seems we have Ladybug as one of us, and she's already engaged with Chat Noir and Ultraman Tiga." Lady Thorn laughed some more, "oh, the sweet irony! If she defeats Chat Noir or brings him under the love spell, I will have succeeded in my mission!" Those who were not under the love spell over heard this, with Kim and Alix being among the first to show shock and horror.
Miss Bustier, from behind the restraints of the vines, thought just how bad the situation was. She knew enough about Ladybug's Miraculous Ladybug power to know that without it, there was no hope of undoing the akuma's damage.
"Now all we need to do, is let them come to us. Then we can finally have them all in our clutches," Lady Thorn boasted. Then one of the maidens came up and whispered in her ear about something. Then Lady Thorn eyes widened, then she smiled. "So Ladybug is coming here? Then by all means, brothers and sisters! Let us roll out the welcome for her!"
In the sky...
Chat Noir was carried by the shoulder as Ultraman Tiga soared through the afternoon skies as they turned orange. From the air, they could see much of the infestation that was overtaking downtown. Adrien looked on in sorrow and grief, "Look at all of this, to think Chloe would cause Fiorella to become such a powerful akuma as to take control of Marinette. I should've been there for them both." Adrien shook his head. "Without Marinette, we cannot undo this damage. She's the one with the Miraculous Ladybug to undo akuma damages and transformations." Chat Noir looked up to Tiga, "but I guess you already know all that."
Tiga glanced down at Chat Noir, then he pointed to the high school they previously escaped from. It was overrun with vines and mutant flowers that were forming barriers and spires like a fortress. There were knights and maidens around the area. Chat just shook his head... only Hawkmoth would be so twisted as to turn the crushes and love the students had into weapons. The giant roses and Venus flytraps also looked ready to attack anything that came close. The two heros both then landed, and went to a safe place to hide from the evil plants and minions. Chat Noir looked over and scanned the surroundings. The school had been turned into a veritable fortress. "We gotta find a way in. But how?"
Tiga touched Chat Noir's shoulder, causing him to turn around. He then looked into the boy's eyes again with a brief flash of his eyes. Chat Noir was struck again by the nonverbal communication. "Distraction?" Chat Noir muttered, "you?" The veteran Ultra hero nodded. Tiga stepped back and crossed his arms over his head crystal, which flashed purple. "Mmmm... hah!" Flexing his arms downward, his colors changed to all purple and silver.
"What the-" Chat Noir's words died in his mouth as he saw Tiga change colors and form. The Ultra warrior then looked upwards and suddenly blasted off. Flying over the school, he unleashed a rapidfire volley of Hand Slash beams. They cut through the ferocious monster plants, drawing the attention of the brainwashed guarding the school. Some of the monster roses began firing off thorns as projectiles, but Sky Type Tiga zig-zagged through the air gracefully as they failed to make their mark. He continued to shoot down at his targets to get their attention. The knights and maidens began to attack him, shooting arrows and charging at him head on.
The maidenized Myelene shot her arrows up at Tiga. The Ultra easily dodged and deflected the projectiles with his armor, then swooped down and knocked Myelene off her feet. He finished with a karate blow to the back of her head, knocking her out cold. Ivan then grabbed Tiga from behind. "Got you!" However, the Ultra just jumped up and backflipped the boy. Grabbing him by the woodbark collar, Tiga threw Ivan into a group of maidens and knights, bowling them over.
Tiga then returned to ground level, and proceeded to punch and kick his way through the hypnotized hoards of students and adults while using his superior agility to evade their attacks. A few flytraps and vines snapped at Tiga, who just cut them down with ease. "One heck of a distraction... but a meow-velous one!" Chat muttered his compliments as he ran past the fighting back into the school.
Ultraman Tiga saw the young black hero run into the school. With that, he continued to fly and run about as the maidens, knights, and plants continued to go after him. However, Tiga was simply too fast as he sped around and alternated between beam shots and hand strikes.
Lady Thorn frowned as she heard the assault from outside the walls of the school. "It's those two meddlesome heroes themselves! Interfering with the blossoming love! Maidens! Knights! And my lovely green friends! Seize them!"
"Lady Thorn," Aurore asked as she pointed to the captive girls and guys, "what do you want us to do with them?"
"Allow me to take care of that." Alix struggled as the akumatized Fiorella produced another black rose. "Shame really," she shook her head, "you have no love to call your own." Lady Thorn then struck Alix. The girl athlete went limp as her energy was drained. The others screamed in seeing their friend being drained.
"Alix!" Kim shouted, but he was quickly shut up by Jean. Lady Thorn then proceeded to use black roses on the other girls. One by one, they felt their energy being drained to power Lady Thorn and her minions.
"Don't worry boys," Lady Thorn demurred, "you will not be without your uses..." She then approached them and went to the first boy she set her sight upon. This boy happened to be one of the newer students, Marc Anciel. "My my, don't you look good," Lady Thorn stroked his cheek.
"Please don't," Marc begged as he tried to back away.
"Don't be afraid," Lady Thorn smiled as she clasped his face, "I will not hurt you."
"W..What are you gonna do to us?!" Marc asked scared.
"Just..." Lady Thorn whispered as her lips came close, "a little peck." Then she kissed him on the lips. Marc Anciel was shocked as he felt Lady Thorn's lips on him. He felt light headed, like his mind was being pulled. The black-haired and green-eyed boy started to turn green on his skin, with bark praetorian-like armor growing over his clothes as well.
Lady Thorn released Marc, who then smiled and knelt. "I am at your service, Lady Thorn."
"Excellent," Lady Thorn clasped her hands excitedly, "now all of you stay still and let me share the blossoming love with you all!" Mr. Damocles could only watch helplessly as more of his student became either living energy sources or slaves to the new akuma. As Lady Thorn finished with Kim... a certain corrupted Miraculous hero came swinging in. She turned and grinned in excitement, "Ah Ladybug, how nice of you to join us!" The knights and maidens murmured happily as Ladybug revealed herself in green with red and purple spots. "Lady Thorn, you know that Chat Noir and Ultraman Tiga are coming here," Ladybug said.
An explosion outside followed, with more sounds of intense fighting. "Of course, Ladybug," Lady Thorn smirked, "and may I say that I'm glad that you have finally joined us, and I hope that you will find whoever is your love soon."
Ladybug also frowned as her dark aura intensified. "Those two will both pay for interfering."
"You have your Miraculous," Lady Thorn said, "but Hawkmoth and I still need the Black Cat Miraculous. I will have my forces hold off Tiga, while you handle Chat Noir."
"Leave that mangy cat to me," Ladybug growled. Then she went out to find Chat Noir.
The butterfly mask appeared over Lady Thorn as Hawkmoth communicated again. "Lady Thorn, well-done! You brought both Ladybug and Cat Noir to their growing doom! As soon Ladybug restrains Cat Noir, you will have the chance to take their Miraculouses immediately!"
"Of course! Then the whole world shall know true love, thanks to us!" Lady Thorn laughed as her praetorian guard assembled around her courtyard throne.
Getting through the school turned out to be much more difficult than Chat Noir imagined as weeds and hedges turned entire rooms and hallways into mazes. "Man, this is like being in a big cat play pen!" He made his way into a room, only to find it empty. He recognized it as Miss Bustier's classroom amongst the ruins. The sunset orange gave the room an unnerving vibe.
"Not here. Better try the next room." Before he left however, he decided to stop by Marinette's seat. He found her backpack abandoned. "Marinette." Chat Noir then noticed a piece of paper that had fallen out next to the backpack. Looking around for a bit, he decided to pick it up and look at it. He saw Marinette's handwriting on it. He decided to read it.
'Dear Adrien,
If this letter ever gets to you... which might as well be never, I want to express my inner most feelings to you in ways that my own spoken words have failed me. Since the day you offered me your umbrella, I realized that I've fallen for you as the kindest, sweetest... and hottest boy I've ever met, so much so I'm often stuttering or speechless right in front of you.'
Chat realized that Marinette had written a love letter to him as he continued to read.
'Other times, I've often sacrificed my opportunities of confessing to you, one of which was your birthday. In fact, the green scarf you got as a present was my gift to you, but because of how you yearned for your dad's acceptance and love, I let your father get the credit for you own happiness.'
'S-she got me that scarf? It was her's the whole time?' Adrien thought to himself. He felt his own eyes water as he kept reading more.
'But by far my biggest sacrifice is the fact that I have to conceal my true identity as Ladybug, the hero of Paris.'
Adrien already knew thanks to Ultraman's presence, but this further confirmed what he already knew about Marinette and the amazing girl that she was.
'I'm just afraid that if he were to find out, my enemy Hawkmoth would seek to take you hostage to use against me and Chat Noir. I don't know if I would be able to handle such a thing, let alone save Paris if you were ever threatened, Adrien.'
Adrien felt touched by how she protected her identity from Hawkmoth for his sake. Likewise, he could only imagine how crushed he would feel if his own secret identity had been exposed and if Marinette was harmed by Hawkmoth.
'And then there is Chat Noir... my ever goofy and funny sidekick who cannot stop with those cat puns no matter how many times I tell him.'
Adrien smiled at that.
'While he can work on his material and timing, I cannot help but be grateful for him standing by my side through all the battles we've fought. I just hope that he would understand that it is you, Adrien, that I love.'
Chat Noir out the letter down. "Marinette, Ladybug... I will free you from this, and I will let you know that it is I who has been by your side this whole time..." Despite the situation with Ladybug, Chat Noir... Adrien found it in himself to smile with joy. However, his sense of danger spiked as he narrowly dodged a yoyo shooting past him. Chat spun around to face the corrupted Ladybug.
"I found you at last, Chat," Ladybug cackled, "now sit still like a good little kitty while I give you a beating before I take your ring!"
Chat Noir drew out his staff. "Ladybug, I know it's you inside of there somewhere, and I'll do all that I can to free you!"
"Silly little stray cat," Ladybug rolled her eyes with a disdainful smirk, "you never stood a chance without me, and you don't stand a chance against me!"
"Maybe so," Chat replied, "but I always have ways of taking bad guys down, so I either save you from the akuma's control or say goodbye to my ninth life."
Ladybug seemed to ponder over this with a mocking gesture. "You know what? I think I would go with the latter!" She rushed forward for round two. The two Miraculous wielders charged, with a pole against Yo-yo, ducking and dodging each other on trying to score a hit.
Headquarters of the Fourteen Dark Kings, Monster Breeding Laboratory
Hawkmoth and Noboru stood in front of the tank of Clitters as Darphia continued to manipulate the controls to feed them more energy. In the midst of the Clitter swarm was the second fire akuma that was glowing as it fed off the energies Lady Thorn was supplying. Noboru smiled smugly as the Clitters started to glow more with energy. "Everything is going well as planned."
"This had better be, and I hope that these Clitters as you say are the strongest in defeating Ultraman." Hawkmoth said, "I am spending two valuable akuma at once for this gambit."
"Well, in fairness, I did say that they came close enough to actually injure him," Noboru said, "but with your contributions, I would say that they can give Tiga more than a deserved bloodletting." He placed a hand on the large tank.
Darphia, the Alien Bat looked to Noboru. "We are almost ready to release the Clitters. They are ninety percent charged." "Excellent," Noboru said, "and what about the cyber guidance nanite implants our Desimo colleague developed?"
"Already implemented, Mr. Noboru," Darphia reported, "as you requested, we've tuned the implants to respond to commands transmitted from Hawkmoth via the akuma. It will enhance the control interface you both have with the Clitters."
"Beautiful," Noboru grinned, "I want to be sure that we can control them for act two of our little performance."
Hawkmoth looked up at the tadpole-like creatures, who gave off giggle sounds. 'Hard to believe these things can form a giant monster,' he thought. He then sensed the ongoing battle around the school where his akuma was holding up. "It appears that Chat Noir and Ladybug are fighting each other now... and Ultraman Tiga is outside fighting my champion's followers."
"Then I guess, well just wait to see where this turns out and hope your Akuma destroys them. And if that fails, then we do things my way." Noboru smirked. "At the very least your Akuma roughens them up. The more the better for our other creation here."
Hawkmoth just gave Noboru a slight glare, before contacting Lady Thorn again. 'Lady Thorn, just make sure you defeat Tiga and get me those Miraculouses.'
"At once Hawkmoth! I will not fail!"
Hawkmoth smirked to himself... he was getting closer than ever.
Chat Noir deflected a hard yoyo blow and jumped back as Ladybug tried to jump him. Ladybug was fast, but Chat Noir used his top speed and agility to stay abreast of her crazed attacks. He then moved to lure her out into the hallway, using his cat-like reflexes to avoid the hedges while Ladybug had to smash her way through. "Ladybug! We don't have much time! The Akuma is turning all of Paris into one big bad botanical garden!"
"What about my Adrien!?" Ladybug retorted as she shot her weapon at a thick vine and brought it down in front of Chat Noir, stopping him. She them rushed him and proceeded to punch and kick at him, forcing him to defend.
"He's fine," Chat Noir defended, "but none of us will be if we keep this up and let Lady Thorn continue spreading the plants!"
"Then where is he!?" Ladybug threw a punch, which Chat Noir blocked, holding her fist in place.
"He's here!" Then using her shock as a chance, Chat Noir tackled her. "And you'll hurt him if you keep this up!" Chat Noir yelled as he held Ladybug down.
"No! I wouldn't do that to my Adrien! I would forever love him!" Ladybug cried out.
"Then do you think that he would want you to do this!?" Chat Noir asked, but that only seemed to rile Ladybug. She kicked him off of her, and went to tackle him. Chat Noir grunted as he was pinned to a wall with Ladybug holding him by the neck.
"What would you know about what Adrien wants!?" Ladybug drew her corrupted yoyo with thorns extended and dark aura blazing as she was poised to slash the cat hero's face.
Seeing the thorns, Chat Noir shut his eyes as he just reacted with the first thing that came to his mind... "Because you put my happiness first many times, Marinette!" Chat Noir blurted out in desperation. That made Ladybug stop, just inches away from slashing at him. She stared in confusion and surprise.
"W-what?" Ladybug gasped.
The black cat hero saw Ladybug hesitate. Realizing what he said, he resolved to press on. "You gave me a green scarf for my birthday, but you let my father get the credit in hopes that things would get better between me and him," he told her. Ladybug then stumbled back, letting Chat Noir rub his neck as her mind short-circuited. "What are you talking about!?" Ladybug held out her yoyo defensively. Chat Noir exhaled deeply as he reached for his face mask.
"Ladybug, or Marinette." Chat Noir then removed his mask, showing her his true face... Adrien Agreste himself. "I'm Cat Noir."
Ladybug gasped as she saw Adrien wearing his Chat Noir suit. "N-no... it can't be!"
Adrien had a resolute expression as he stood tall and confident. "It is" he said, feeling a heavy weight being lifted off of him. "You are my partner in heroism... and the only one I truly love, Marinette. I'm sorry that I could not see the fullness of your compassion and love for me sooner."
The crazed Ladybug stood still, shocked by seeing that her long time crush was the cat-themed hero and sidekick all along. Before she could say or do anything, Ultraman Tiga busted through a window with a loud shatter and crash, landing between Chat Noir and Ladybug.
"Tiga!" Chat Noir muttered. Upon seeing the corrupted Ladybug hesitate, Ultraman Tiga fired off a Hand Slash at her chest. The force of the blast sent Ladybug back. "Tiga, no!" Chat Noir yelled in shock as he brushed past him. "Marinette!" The unmasked Chat Noir scrambled up to the downed Ladybug, praying that she was alright from Tiga's strike.
Chat Noir looked down at Ladybug's chest, and saw that the rose was damaged, but was sparking with dark fire and energy. Ladybug was moaning and crying in pain as dark red and purple sparks wracked her body. Chat Noir realized that Tiga had specifically aimed for the rose, but the blast was not enough to destroy it without killing Ladybug. "We gotta help her! Tiga, get the rose off of her!"
Tiga rushed over and pulled on the akuma rose. However, it resisted Tiga's efforts as it stuck tight to Ladybug, who seemed to scream louder in pain.
"What's happening?!"Ladybug screamed as she felt both confusion and pain.
Chat Noir held her hand. "Marinette, my lady," he coaxed her, "listen to me! You have to reject whatever Lady Thorn is trying to force on you! That is not true love!"
"I-I... must," Ladybug groaned before the rose flashed again. She seemed to strain between her real and obsessive self as she grabbed Chat Noir's bell and tried to reach for her yoyo. "Y-You... tricked me!"
Chat Noir however was not intimidated. Tiga himself continued to battle with the stubborn rose of darkness as he pulled. "Marinette, I am many things," Chat Noir let his Adrien side do the talking, "but I would not lie or trick you... and I wish I could have told you this in better places."
Ladybug tried to reach for her yo-yo but was stopping as she strained from Tiga pulling on the rose in her chest.
"Marinette, I love you, and you love me... remember when we first beat Glaciator?" Chat Noir confessed. Ladybug continued to strain as Chat Noir continued. "And remember the first time we became Ladybug and Cat Noir? When we fought Stoneheart?It was not the Miraculous that saved Ivan and those people... it was you being beside me! Ladybug is the hero that she is because of you Marinette! If we lose you, we lose Ladybug and the girl I love the most! Fight this!"
Ultraman Tiga saw Chat Noir trying to appeal to his love and Ladybug struggling against the darkness. Gathering his light and strength, Tiga let his color timer and chest protector flash as he channeled light into the dark rose, causing it to spark as he worked to short-circuit its power. Cat Noir flinched back from the clash of light and darkness, however Tiga flashed his eyes at him. Chat realized that he was telling him to hold onto Ladybug. Chat kept his grip as he felt Ladybug squeeze. She was screaming louder as she felt the clash of darkness and light. Some of Tiga's light even caused the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous jewels to flash brightly in reaction.
'Is this what I was feeling when Ultraman first came?' Cat Noir thought.
"Get out... no way! I won't... hurt Adrien..." Ladybug strained. "That's it, Marinette! Use the light to cast out the darkness!" Chat Noir yelled as he felt his own feelings channel through Tiga's light. "Marinette, come back to us! Come back to me! The one you love! You've been there for me, now let me be here for you as I have in past battles!"
"A-Adrien! I... I am Ladybug!" Marinette screamed out as she felt the strength from both Adrien and Tiga's light to expel the darkness. As she yelled from the light enveloping her, Tiga started to pull the dark rose out of her chest.
"Drah!" With a final heave, Tiga drew the rose out of Ladybug. As it sparked and wilted, Tiga crushed it in his hand, destroying it and dispersing the darkness.
Chat Noir gasped then breathed heavily as he felt the darkness leave Ladybug through his grip on her. It was then that Ladybug's corrupted colors began to fade as her Miraculous and Tiga's light began to purify her. Her signature bright red and black spots returned. The glow over Ladybug's body faded, but her and Chat's Miraculouses continued to glow with a lingering light in Tiga's presence. Ladybug groaned as she opened her eyes. "A-Adrien?"
"I got you, Marinette," Chat Noir let a smile brighten his unmasked face.
Tiga watched Chat Noir lift a shaking Ladybug up to a standing position. She leaned into Chat's chest as she sobbed. Despite the charged ordeal and the situation they were still in, a sense of contentment welled in Tiga's being over having rescued two potential lovers from a tragic outcome.
"I'm sorry! I just couldn't stop myself! The Akuma was controlling me!" Chat Noir held his Ladybug as she cried. "I helped kidnap people for Lady Thorn! I nearly hurt you in my craze to find you, not knowing who you were as Chat Noir!"
"It's alright Marinette, none of that was your fault. We have to stop the Akuma, then we can help each other out on our trauma."
Chat Noir then leaned back and let Ladybug remove her face mask, showing her real face as Marinette. She had genuine surprise in her bright blue eyes as she looked upon Adrien. "But how?"
Adrien scratched his head around his cat ears with a sheepish smile and chuckle. "I guess your earrings react like my ring to our new friend's presence." Adrien pointed up, and Marinette saw Ultraman Tiga in his Sky Type.
"Ultraman... Tiga?" Marinette muttered. He nodded back to her.
Marinette digested all this, but then she realized something. "Our classmates outside! Are they?" Tiga just pointed over to the window in a nearby room. Adrien and Marinette walked over to the broken window to look outside. The city was still a green mess of mutant vines and plants, and several people were knocked down to the ground. Marinette gasped as she recognized classmates Ivan and Mylene out cold.
Adrien shook his head. "We had no choice." Marinette spun around to look at Tiga, who had just barricaded the door with a chair, fearing the worst for the students out there. As though sensing her consternation, Tiga looked her in the eye and flashed his own in the same manner of nonverbal communication. Marinette stumbled back as she blinked, but her concern was assuaged as she understood Tiga. "I... I understand... you didn't have a choice," Marinette sighed, "but thank you for not killing them." Tiga simply nodded his silent acknowledgement.
Marinette looked to Adrien, who shrugged. "Man of few words, I guess," he quipped. Then Adrien remembered something else, regarding a certain plant Akuma. "Marinette, Lady Thorn... Fiorella's akuma is different. It's far more powerful than anything we've ever fought back then."
Marinette blinked, but then nodded. She still had yet to get used to talking akuma business like this with Adrien, the real Chat Noir. "I know, there is a fire aura to the akuma. Whatever it is, it's boosting the akuma's power, and Lady Thorn's abilities by extension. We'll need all the help we can get to defeat her and find out what is allowing Hawkmoth to create such akuma." The two looked to Tiga, who just gave a knowing nod.
Then Adrien and Marinette looked back to each other. "Adrien..." Marinette felt exposed now, "all those times... I tried to confess to you."
"I almost thought that you did not like me those times," Adrien added, "but then again, looking back, I was mistaken." He shook his head, "I wasn't that good with reading people then."
"It was just as much my own fault," Marinette replied, "it was all because I had feelings for you when you're Adrien, and all this time I've been ignoring you as Cat Noir." Marinette crossed her hands in front of her like the shy girl she was as she swayed. "I-I mean... you being Chat is such a surprise. You two are supposed to be different."
"Maybe so, but we're still the same people, mask or not, both you and I." Adrien then held Marinette's hands, causing her to gasp and blush. "And whether you are Marinette or Ladybug, you are also still that amazing kind and brave girl that I have fallen in love with."
Marinette was smiling, with tears streaming down her face. "Adrien" she whispered.
"Don't tell yourself anything different," Adrien said, "we will save the city from Hawkmoth. I'm just happy that I am doing this together with you."
"Y-you don't know how... I mean... I love to..." Marinette stuttered.
Adrien just smiled knowingly. "I know. Let's save Fiorella together."
Marinette concurred, "I like that, kitty." She then looked to Ultraman Tiga, "and we are not alone." Ultraman Tiga responded with a nod and soft grunt.
"But first off," Adrien suggested, "let's give our little friends a charge."
"Hmmm... and I owe mine an apology," Marinette added.
"Plagg, claws in."
"Tikki, spots off."
Tiga oversaw the two heroes undoing their transformations. Then their Kwamis flew out and presented themselves.
Plagg huffed as he looked upon both Adrien and Marinette. "About time with you and Pigtails, Kitten," he groaned in a playful tone, "I was beginning to grow tired of your hopeless pining!"
Tikki on the other hand looked tired, but also relieved at the same time. "Marinette..." Her wielder pulled her into a hug.
"Oh Tikki, I'm so sorry I fell under the akuma's spell," Marinette apologized as she rubbed her kwami against her cheek.
Adrien, Plagg, and Tiga watched as Marinette and Tikki both cried and laughed at the same time.
"It's alright Marinette, I just wasn't quick enough. If I wasn't so shocked and distressed, I would have at least tried to remove that evil rose," Tikki admitted.
"I know Tikki. But that's in the past. And now we can focus on the present. By saving Paris and stopping the Akuma!" Marinette pulled Tikki back and looked at her in her palms. "And I have you, and Adrien by my side," she said.
"Hey what about me, Pigtails?" Plagg teasingly complained.
Marinette giggled, "And you too little kitten."
"See, even she is nicer to me than you!" Plagg joked to Adrien.
They all chuckled, until they heard rustling of mutant plants and brainwashed people banging at the door. "Smart that you barricaded that door before, Tiga," Adrien remarked as he saw the chair strain against the outside force, "but we can't stay caged in here."
It was then that Tikki and Plagg flew up to Ultraman Tiga. The both of them looked at him in fascination, and even relief.
"Wow... it has been many years since we last saw one of you," Tikki told Tiga.
"Yeah, I mean... it's been nearly two centuries... even if you are from another dimension," Plagg revealed.
Tiga showed little reaction except to put a finger to his silver chin, while Marinette and Adrien stared at their kwamis.
"Wait... two centuries?" Adrien asked, "that recent!?"
"Yeah!" Tikki seemed a bit nostalgic as she smiled towards Marinette and Adrien. "And Tiga here looks so much like our Ultraman... it's almost uncanny."
Tiga tilted his head slightly as he continued to look at the kwamis. He was digesting the revelation that there had been an Ultraman in this world.
"It's not the most accurate thing to say," Tikki raised her paw, "but it is good to have you back with us... Ultraman."
Marinette and Adrien watched in wonder as Tiga tilted his head slightly, before he reciprocated the gesture by touching a silver finger to Tikki's paw. Plagg himself flew up and touched Tiga's finger.
"We missed you very much," Plagg said in a nostalgic and soulful tone.
Adrien smiled despite the pounding on the door. He whispered to Marinette, "you know, that is the first time I've seen my kwami like that... like he's found long lost family."
"He sure looks like it," Marinette cooed, "and I think it's so heartwarming and cute."
It was then that the pounding intensified. Tiga glanced over to the door, and then back to Tikki and Plagg with a flash of his eyes. The two seemed to immediately understand what he communicated. Plagg flew back to Adrien, and Tikki to Marinette.
"Kitten," Plagg told his charge, "whip up all the camembert you have in your box. Full charge!"
"Right on," Adrien smirked as he got out a cheese container.
"You still have a nice big cookie, Marinette?" Tikki asked, "let's not disappoint Ultraman!"
Marinette giggled at Tikki's enthusiasm as she got a wrapped cookie out of her purse and opened it. "Enjoy!"
Tiga walked up next to the two teens as he watched Tikki and Plagg eat. He turned to the wielders with a slight tilt of the head as he pointed to the two little aliens who seemed refreshed and rejuvenated.
"We just need them charged," Marinette quickly explained. Marinette then blushed a bit when she turned back to Adrien. "Hey, Adrien," she muttered, "those snarky and mean things I said to you when you were Chat." She was interrupted by more pounding and shouts.
Adrien just smiled at Marinette. "I can guess what you mean Milady... but I think we've got some mean weeds to CAT-nip in the bud first."
She stared unamused, but smiled a little. "Oh Adrien, you silly kitty!" Marinette impulsively then went to peck Adrien on the lips.
Tiga just stared as Adrien blubbered a bit while the kwamis looked on in both surprise and amusement. Marinette herself seemed to cover her face with both hands as she blushed like a rose. Realizing what just happened, Adrien seemed to explode with excitement and joy. "Oh Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" Adrien hooted as he transformed back into Chat Noir.
Marinette shook her head as she looked to Tikki. "My dream boy is a cute dork, Tikki."
"That he is," Tikki giggled back. Marinette rolled her eyes, but giggled as well.
"Tikki, spots on," Marinette called out.
In a flash of red, she became Ladybug again. Chat Noir had a dreamy look in his eyes as Ladybug twirled with her Miraculous suit appearing.
Ladybug and Chat Noir then noticed something about their Miraculouses... they were still glowing... brighter than ever before. "Our Miraculouses," Ladybug muttered, "did Tiga's light do that?"
"That would be my guess, given how they react," Chat Noir replied as he looked to Tiga, who then crossed his arms and changed back into his Multi Type. Ladybug seemed astonished. "He can... change forms?"
Chat grinned."Yeah and it's pretty cool!"
The assault on the door continued as it finally cracked. Vines and hands broke through like those of zombie then walked up to the door and pulled back his fist for a mighty punch as he charged up energy. Everything and everyone behind the door was blown back by an explosion as the mighty Ultra threw his Ultra Light-Knuckle. Both Miraculous heroes shivered at the raw display of Tiga's power.
Chat Noir recovered and then offered his hand to Ladybug with a smile. "Shall we, Ladybug?"
She smiled back, "of course, Chat Noir."
Ladybug took Chat's hand. The two followed Ultraman Tiga out of their hiding place as he shot and cut down the vines and hedges blocking the way. The two Miraculous heroes then drew their weapons as they also joined in the superpowered mowing operation. The Ultra hero and Miraculous duo would make their way to the courtyard where the akumatized Fiorella la Chapelle awaited them.
