Cosmic Era 72, 6 months post battle of Jachin due…

Noah watched on tv as the Junius treaty was signed. He was in the middle of putting on a tuxedo as he watched. Today was a very important day for him.

It had been six months since the war ended. Six months since he piloted a mobile suit. He knew the South American war for independence was going on and he could easily go fight in that but he was not too familiar with the politics so he had opted instead to stay in Orb.

Time and time again he had been called to the meeting table between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance in the peace talks over the past six months. Either as a mediator or as a member given he leads Celestial Being.

But his answer every time was that Celestial Being was not a nation nor was it a standing army. They had no place at the table though in reality he knew they wanted him there so they could put GN drive technology on the docket as a likely bannable technology.

And an umbrella of other technologies believed to be owned namely by Celestial being were listed as banned tech short of for humanitarian reasons such as using the n-jammer cancellers to help earth's power grid problems.

Multiple companies had tried to reach out to him for the rights to use GN drives as a power source but after someone managed to get onboard the Valhalla and attempted to steal a GN drive powered unit only to find the cockpit empty short of the stand for the GP base, Celestial Being had gone dark.

Well in reality all tech was minimized to model form and sat in a secure safe in Noah's home. Only the Gunpla now officially owned by Cecil, Valeria, Nicol, Yzak, Dearka, and Athrun were outside the safe and even then they were under strict orders to keep them in model form unless told otherwise.

The Archangel had taken its place in Orb in its secret hangar however this was temporary as Murrue had specifically requested a model version be built with select upgrades and modifications made as this would be easier than the two year refit it would get between now and Gundam Seed destiny.

One big thing in the treaty Noah had been required to show up for was about a month ago both ZAFT and the Earth Alliance insisted if Orb wanted to remain neutral, knowing they would be harboring Celestial Being, then the legendary Gundam known as EX-Caliber had to be publicly destroyed. Noah tried to explain that the original EX-Caliber had been destroyed during the battle of Orb which was true…

Technically.

But they insisted since it had been identified during the battle of Jacin due as active. So since his royal version of EX-Caliber could not be shrunk down and would provide adequate remains for them he put it on the very island he was shot down on and the spectators watched from a boat as the Gundam self destructed, exploding in a fantastic cloud of red and black GN particles. What no one knew was Noah was already working with Ian Vashti to build a newer, better gundam that would put all his previous works to shame.

It was at this island that today's events would take place. Turning the destroyed EX-Caliber as the backdrop and arch, Noah could already hear Nicol playing his piano as Noah assumed guests were arriving for the day's event.

Epilogue

Captain Ramius greeted people as they arrived and made their way to the wedding. There was a lot of excited chatter among the guests, everyone looking around at how they had set up the venue outside with the damaged EX-Caliber behind the altar looking down on the venue. As guests made their way past Captain Ramius they set their gifts down on a large table provided for those who wanted to bring gifts, then took their seats on either side of the aisle. As more people arrived and seats started filling up more, Captain Ramius went to the front of the altar and made sure everything was in order. An excited gasp caught Captain Ramius' attention as they saw Noah approach the altar, giving him a nod. "Noah, big day huh? Are you nervous?" Asked Captain Ramius as Noah took his place beside the altar. Shrugging, Noah just smiled and patted Captain Ramius on the shoulder. Looking through the crowd Noah was able to point out several people, all who waved to him as he waved back and smiled.

A few more people entered the venue and took their seats, after making sure all guests were accounted for Captain Ramius gave a nod to Nicol who then turned and gave a thumbs up to Alice. Hitting a button Nicol started some music up and Alice slowly made her way down the Aisle before stepping up to Noah and attaching his corsage to his jacket then took her place on the left side where Nina would be standing. Once this was done, Nicol gave a thumbs up to Kira and Lacus who walked down the aisle together before splitting once they got to the front, both going to their respective sides. Last to go was Athrun and Cagalli, Cagalli seemed brimming with excitement as she walked with Athrun, smiling at him as they parted and took their places.

Turning to face the Aisle and the guests, Captain Ramius gathered the attention of everyone and said, "Please rise for the Bride." and with that Nicol sat down at a beautiful oak piano that they brought and started playing a song they had composed for the event. Everyone stood up and turned to look down the Aisle as Nina stepped around the corner accompanied by Sei, both of them smiling. Noah stopped breathing for a second as he caught sight of Nina, her hair was braided in an elegant pattern adorned by a beautiful hair clip that had flowers and colorful gems on it. Attached to it was her veil that ran short in the front but very long in the back. Her dress was form fitting until the waist where it slightly draped around her, a beautiful crimson color. The bodice was beaded leading down to the lace floral accents that draped down her dress. Her dress was a two piece set, having a shawl that sat perfectly on her with long flowy sleeves. Just stopping above her ankles the dress made sure not to cover her black high heels.

Kira gave Noah a gentle nudge and Noah came back to earth, so to speak. Once they approached the altar, Sei took a step back from Nina and smiled before giving her a hug and going to take his seat. Nina smiled at everyone before she carefully stepped up to the altar and turned to face Noah who smiled at her. The guests sat down and Captain Ramius smiled before attaching a small microphone to his shirt. "Beloved guests, we are gathered here today to witness the joining of Noah and Nina." Captain Ramius said, looking down at the small book they had before looking back up. "Noah, would you like to start with the vows?" Captain Ramius asked, as he looked at Noah. Nodding Noah pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it, reading his vows to Nina.

"Nina yong, as we embark on this adventure together, I know that you have few memories to look back on and even fewer that are happy. Your history is a blur but I hope that as we forge ahead and make new memories, admittedly both happy and sad ones, that we can uncover your past and help you become the best version of yourself as you have helped make me my best self." Started Noah, which had Nina in tears slightly.

"What started as my attempt to make a game to bring happiness to the world and to myself admittedly through riches has instead made me the richest man alive by bringing me new friends, new family, and bringing me you. We could live on the streets of the real world or a penthouse in Orb. We could have a huge family of both naturals and coordinators or we could have just the family we have. Regardless of circumstance as long as I have you I will always be happy. I can't promise to be healthy since I'm a natural." Said Noah which made everyone chuckle. "But I'll be happy." Ended Noah as everyone gave a small clap.

As Noah read his vows, Nina smiled but started to get a bit teary eyed and pulled out the small handkerchief that Sei gave her, dabbing her eyes carefully not to ruin her make-up. Once Noah was done, he smiled at Nina as she noticed he was a bit teary eyed too.

Captain Ramius smiled at them both then turned to Nina, "And you my dear?" They said. Nina started to nod and pull out a paper with her own vows but stopped and shook her head. "Nothing I say could be as beautifully put as what Noah said. But I will say natural or coordinator or whatever an innovator is…know you will always be my first and only choice." She said.

As they both finished with their vows, Captain Ramius walked around the pedestal and joined Nina and Noah in front. "May we have the rings, please." Stated Captain Ramius, as Nicol smiled at Feldt Grace and nudged her to the aisle. "You're up! Good luck!" They said and with that Feldt Grace started walking down the aisle with a little basket of flowers that they tossed occasionally while walking. Once they got to the altar they held up a pillow that had two boxes on it, each of them taking a box before looking at each other. Sitting down in the front row after they were done Feldt Grace smiled at Nina and Noah.

Exchanging rings Noah held onto Nina's hand as they both smiled at each other. Captain Ramius watched and then nodded before saying, "If anyone has any reason why these two should not be wed, please speak now." Not anticipating any retaliation Captain Ramius spoke up right away and said, "Then with that, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!"

With that Noah pulled Nina to him gently and embraced her, kissing her passionately and as he did so his eyes lit up and started glowing. The Ex-caliber started up and then with a final act of life from its GN drive showered the venue in red particles. She kissed back just as passionately as everyone cheered and threw confetti at them. After their kiss they separated but held hands and walked down the aisle, the guests standing to watch them. Once they got to the end, Noah turned to everyone and smiled. "Now who's ready to party?!" He yelled, and with that they made their way to the after party. Nina took time to change into a better dress for the occasion with the help of her bridesmaids, a pretty red and black knee length dress that was mostly made out of lace with an oval opened back and her black high heels still.

Everyone grouped up into their usual groups as they sat down at the tables for the after party, chatter breaking out among the groups. Entering the after party Nina took her place beside Noah at the central table, waving and smiling to those who tried to get her attention. Reaching out to grab her hand, Noah gave it a gentle squeeze and smiled at her. "Are you doing ok? How do you feel?" He asked and Nina looked at him. "I'm fine, maybe a little overwhelmed but it's been so good" She said. Noah chuckled but gave her hand another gentle squeeze. "Think you can manage cutting the cake?" He asked and Nina nodded. With that, they both stood up and walked over to the table that had their wedding cake on it.

Picking up the knife Nina looked at Noah who came up behind her and gently wrapped one arm around her waist while the other held her hand that had the knife. "Let's do it together" He said and then turned to see that all the guests were already looking in their direction with smiles. Captain Ramius walked over with Mu in tow and smiled at both of them, "Congratulations you two. I hope your marriage is prosperous and everlasting." Both of them nodded and said thank you, and with that Captain Ramius called for everyone's full attention as the chatter died down between the groups who were still chatting. Together Nina and Noah cut the cake, and took two pieces out before Nina set the knife down and turned to Noah. When both were ready, they carefully crossed their arms together and fed each other the piece of cake they had picked up. The guests all cheered for them, along with Alice and Lacus coming up to assist in handing out cake for everyone to have.

Nicol also made their way up to the happy couple and hugged Nina. "Did you like the song I made for you?" They asked Nina, who was surprised but nodded and hugged Nicol tightly. "Thank you so much, it means the world to me." Nina said and Nicol smiled. "It's no biggie" Nicol said, and with that gave Noah a handshake and went to take a seat at a table with the rest of the unofficially named "team council princess" the friend group having overheard the real world nickname for their team

After everyone had cake and food, some adjustments were made so that the floor was clear of tables that way everyone could dance. But first it was Nina and Noah's turn. Heading over to a small setup Nicol put on the song Last Love by Jon Mullins, and Noah knew it was time. Taking Nina's hand he led her to the middle of the dance floor and then embraced her. She smiled at him and kissed him gently. As the song started, Noah started to dance with Nina as she laid her head against his chest and danced with him. Everyone gathered around the sides and watched them dance happily, the two occasionally talked while they danced. As the song ended they stopped dancing and took a step back, holding hands. Nicol changed up the music and then went to grab a drink as everyone else started dancing around them. Several people approached them to give them their congrats, as both made their way back to the main table to sit and relax while they watched their guests have fun. Leaning over Nina rested her head gently on Noah's shoulder, her fingers entwining with his as they held hands. It was a long night for everyone after that, everyone enjoyed the party, food and chatter.

The following night of course was eventful as one might expect for the happy couple, the two utilizing a new doorway system designed by nils to allow travel between the cosmic era and the real world.

Epilogue

Several days later however Noah was sitting in a waiting room at Orbs premier hospital. It was nothing severe nor was it anything to do with said happy couple. No on the contrary this was something Noah was following up on for his now deceased best friend.

The wing he was in had been made specifically with the help of Celestial being and was already a Cosmic Era phenomenon in the fact it was a cellular regen therapy wing. Many considered it the only good thing about Celestial being since Noah was responsible for ending so many lives during the war. But this wing was also built so that when the Valhalla was shrunk and put away as a model, Mayu Asuka could continue her cellular regeneration therapy. Today was her last day and he was here to decide what would be done with her.

She was so young. Only 9 and already having such a traumatic event happen. From what he heard during her therapy she had no ill will towards him nor Celestial being even though she had been explained too that it was his Gundams explosion that took her family and her arm.

No for a child she was quite mature about it all and just grateful to be alive. However she kept insisting on joining Celestial being. Even when a CPS worker came to ask if she wanted to be reunited with her brother in the Plants, she said no. She had been told about Seed Destiny and how things originally went down with her brother and she was bound and determined to become a beacon of hope for him. But to do so she wanted to join Celestial being and become a gundam pilot.

Everyone told him she was too young. Even when Noah explained Victory Gundam and the fact a 10 year old piloted a gundam they said he shouldn't do it. So today he was going to run a small test and see if he was worth being called a monster for basically employing a child soldier.

Finally a doctor came out and led him to Mayus room. She was dressed in a simple yellow shirt and a pair of jean shorts. Sitting on the bed flexing her hand she looked up at him.

"So…Am I gonna get a gundam?" She asked Noah as he walked over and pulled a chair up in front of her.

"Not yet. I wanna run a small test. It's just…something a…role model of mine did with someone I admire and if all goes well then I'll see to it we start training you to pilot a Gundam." He said before he pulled out a coin.

"I'm gonna flip the coin. The point of the test is to get it right as to which side will be face up 2 out of three times. If you can get all three it will be impressive." Said Noah as he held up the coin.

Looking at him firmly she nodded. "Heads," She stated. Noah nodded and flipped the coin. Catching it, Noah slapped it against the back of his wrist and uncovered it. Sure enough it was heads.

Smiling, Mayu kicked her feet before saying, "Tails this time." She was eager to see the results.

Once more Noah flicked the coin up off his thumb, caught it as it fell and slapped it on his wrist. True to her word it was tails.

"Lucky break but let's see if you can do three for three." Said Noah, already impressed. She nodded and thought for a moment. "Tails again." She said and Noah once more nodded.

As he flicked it and caught it he looked at it under his hand without showing her first. It was tails. "Well I'll be damned…looks like I guess we are training you." Said Noah as he chuckled and showed her the tail's side of the coin.

She clapped and smiled. "Yes…can I make a request as to what gundam I pilot?" She asked and Noah raised an eyebrow.

"Well we usually would wait and see what you excel in to design one for you…But I mean I guess. What do you want?" Asked Noah.

She looked Noah in the eyes and stated. "I want Mr. Bailey's gundam. The one he designed." She said and Noah nodded. "Makes sense. Simple enough to work with. Ok. I'll allow it." Said Noah before he stood up. "But if you're gonna be a pilot you're gonna have to learn to live like a soldier. Are you sure you're ready for that?" He asked.

She nodded and Noah turned to leave. "Alright. As soon as the doctors say you're fit for duty we will start your training." Said Noah before leaving.

Epilogue

He had one other stop to make as during the past six months he had utilized his public image to reach out to some rather shady sources and gained access not only in the cosmic era to the technology for carbon humans which the team working with him was under strict NDA but also to the technology from the superhuman institute of the 00 timeline for the implanting of personalities.

So as he walked down the hall to the room which had one singular purpose…to clone marie parfacy essentially via carbon human tech and implant the persona known as soma peries onto the clone. Opening the door he saw Marie standing by the tank holding a naked clone of herself. Today was the day they found out if it worked.

"Preparing to drain the tank and lower her down."said one of the employees under Noah's supervision. Noah nodded and watched as the tank slowly began to drain off the nutrient rich fluids inside. As it did so the body of the clone jerked as if responding to the fact it was slowly lowered to the bottom of the tank. Once it was on its knees before them and the tank emptied, Noah opened the bio-tanks door and waited as the clone slowly gained consciousness.

Once it opened its eyes Noah gave a soft smile. The clone looked around and then down and noticing a lack of clothes it quickly covered itself. "W-what happened? Where am i?"she asked as Noah snapped his fingers and a gown was brought over. When the clone took it and looked to him he realized she was waiting for him to look away to stand so he did so.

Once she cleared her throat Noah looked back at her and helped her out of the tank, her steps wobbly and untrained to a degree but it seemed she could walk which was a promising sign along with her speech.

"Can you tell me your name? Or what you remember last?"asked Noah as he caught her when one step was a little too wobbly and she fell towards him. Looking up at him she sighed.

"My name is Soma peries. And the last thing i remember is being told that i was going to be going into a long sleep by marie then hearing that psychiatrist use the command phrase we worked on to lock me away. So…I'm asleep inside you right?"she said as she turned to Marie who was welling up with tears. Marie nodded and instantly hugged soma.

"It's so good to finally get to see you outside of you-i mean my mind. And now we can both have the lives we wanted. I can be with allelujah and you can have your normal life with noah."she said before stepping back.

Soma nodded and looked to noah. "Then it worked. That's a relief. Now can I please get some clothes or am I expected to leave here in just a medical gown?"she asked. Noah chuckled and Marie presented her with a bag. "Here's the bag you wanted me to prepare in case this worked. It has all your favorite clothes and items from our toiletries to that picture of Sergei and you that you took off the net when we visited reality. I know he will never be the same but while you were growing I really got to get to know Noah and I know he will care about you the same as Sergei did."said marie and soma simply nodded. Opening the bag she began to pull clothes out.

"I`ll take that as my point to leave you two to chat and help soma get settled into her own body."said Noah as he turned and left the room. Once the doors closed behind him he smiled and leaned against the wall. That's two projects complete..now he just had one more project and that one would require a certain snow haired coordinator he loved. And a bed.

Another situational update!

So I'm posting this on both stories so that everyone who follows my stories can read it. This will hopefully be followed soon by either a new cosmic wolf chapter or a whole new chapter one for a new story but I have two notes on the new story.

I previously mentioned I think doing a side story with shinn where he gets some much needed character development. I`m running into writers block and am actively seeking a ghost writer or someone to take up the mantle of writing that story or atleast rewriting the first chapter of tempering a blazing soul for me cause i can't find it ANYWHERE and since i deleted it it has been hard for me to re-write it to how i like it. So tempering a blazing soul may be shelved until it becomes relevant or until i can actually finish chapter one and my already partially written chapter 2

So i won't lie, the cosmic wolf story is a little harder to write because of how i did it and to be honest since i`m getting back into my groove with the other story, as much as i feel closer to my new character i feel like working on that story and its sequels so the cosmic wolf may not get as much love for a while…maybe…i dunno.
