"Holy... your friend part of the armed forces?"

That was a Humvee, a M1025, and it was made for durability and was just an overall great vehicle due to it's good bulk, and the fact it was lightly armored making it excellent for mowing down undead hordes at high speed. It was even small enough to manuever through city roads.

The nurse had a great friend.

"My friend is really prepared for anything." Shizuka stated.

The School Nurse, who had been attending college to become a practicing doctor, Shizuka Marikawa. She was nearly as tall as himself, and with her hi-heels on she was as tall as him. She was a ditzs to say the least, and in the 40 minutes it took for them to arrive at her friends home, Naruto had gotten a pretty good lock on what her core traits were about. She was a good woman, naive but well-meaning, could be a little airheaded... and while she was extremely intelligent, she was also kind of dumb as well.

"Looking at the size of this baby, I would say it weighs almost 8500 lbs... maybe a few hundred pounds less... nearly 2 meters tall, and 5 meters long." Naruto had already popped the hood of the vehicle. He gained sparkles in his eyes when he looked at the engine. "... Oh... this is a v8 with... 180... no... 190 horsepower... this thing is a beast." Naruto was itching to get behind the wheels of this as soon as possible.

He was salivating over it.

This was a powerful vehicle.

"You like cars?" Shizuka asked as she unlocked the front door.

"I have a motorcycle at my home. I have the licenses to drive a car, bike, boat, and a plane... a small plane, not a commercial one. This thing just needs some copper plating inside of it, and it will be EMP proof... well made machine here." Naruto closed the hood of the humvee, before he joined Shizuka in the home. Naruto had his geek moment, and slowly he switched back into a more serious look.

Shizuka was smiling at him.

"You're a good guy, aren't you?"

"You grab all the clothes you can find, I'll go break open her gun safe and check for any canned food. Salt too." Naruto hoped that she had a good amount of salt on hand. "Oh, also the blankets." Naruto added that onto what Shizuka needed to grab. They were a few women at the school, so clothes for warmth and hygeine would be very important overall.

"Oh, she has tons of cute clothes." Shizuka was excited.

"Grab all the clothes, not just the cute ones." Naruto deadpanned at her. He could imagine her leaving behind clothes that she didn't think was cute enough to take. She was also a pretty vain woman all things considered. Naruto got into the living room, and he could see the gun safe was right there.

-1 Hour 40 Minutes Later-

3 bags of salt, an entire backseat full of clothes, 3 blankets, NO canned food at all, and 3 bottled waters. Still, she had a heap of guns that made the trip worth it, and the humvee was a great reason to come.

"No food... she must not actually live here that often." Naruto spun the keys to the humvee around his finger.

"Yeah, she works away a lot. I just air this place out for her sometimes." Shizuka grabbed one of the bottled waters and opened it. "... Oh, I'll be right back." Shizuka dropped the water on the ground and ran back into the home. Naruto raised an eyebrow when he saw her. He just sighed and leaned forward against the wheel.

Dog barking.

Naruto raised an eyebrow, getting out of the humvee.

He walked out of the fenced off yard, and walked right into the street. There were scattered zombies walking around, but they hadn't noticed him yet. He saw a small dog barking and running around, but didn't really see anything else. One of the zombies got close to Naruto, but it still hadn't really noticed him.

'They really do react to sound... guess Shizuka wasn't wrong about that.' Naruto hadn't known about that. When he fought them on his college campus, he hadn't known they didn't react to sight. He knew they did react to sound, but he wasn't aware that they only reacted to it. If he had known he might have been able to save more people. '... what is taking her?' Naruto looked back at the house.

Shizuka came out with several boxes.

"I got tampons."

'You got tampons... oh...' Naruto hadn't thought about that either. 'Right... there are women at home base too.' Naruto hadn't considered that. He just sort of mentally considered everyone he was working to save to be just human, not man or woman. Shizuka placed the tampons in the back as well.

"Gotta have these." Shizuka smiled and nodded to him.

"Yeah, guess so... that everything?" Naruto asked her. She nodded her head with a happy smile. She got in the passenger seat, buckled up, and was ready to go. Naruto opened the car gate, before joining her in the vehicle. 'Good... she might be an airhead, but she thought of something I hadn't even considered.' Naruto would have never considered getting tampons at all.

Earlier, he had been barking orders and not listening to anyone else talk.

"Lets go!"

"Yeah." Naruto agreed, and with that they started to drive off. The humvee smashed through zombies with relative ease. With a backseat filled with supplies, he felt comfortable with the trip being worth it overall. 'Still... I should be a little more open to listening to them. I'm trying to save them.' Naruto sighed to himself.

They passed by the barking dog, and Shizuku waved to the dog as they passed it. Naruto just ignored it, since a barking dog would just be something that attracted more undead to them in the long run. Naruto hit a few more zombies, and smiled to himself in satisfaction.

Zombie, zombie, and another zombie.

"Living!" Shizuka shouted out.

"SHIT!" Naruto slammed on the breaks and avoided the living people in the road. It was a father and a young girl, and the father wrapped his arms around his daughter to protect her. Naruto managed to miss them in the split second he avoided them. His heart was racing, because he had gotten a little too used to running over zombies too quickly. Him screeching to a halt was bound to attract more zombies though.

Naruto unlocked the doors of the vehicle.

"You two, get in the back, we're going to a safe place." Naruto opened his door and relayed the message.

In that moment of hesitation, zombies got much closer, and the father made up his mind. He opened the back door of the vehicle, and he pushed his daughter in, before he got in himself. He slammed the door behind him, and Naruto started to drive again.

"Good catch." Naruto stated to Shizuka. "You two alright?"

"Yeah, we're fine... thank you. Thank you so much. Is there anything I can do to thank you?" The man asked Naruto, and Naruto glanced in the rearview mirror and looked at the man's daughter. "No! Not-"

"Huh... can you change her panties, I can smell her pee." Naruto had noticed the girl had pissed herself when he almost hit her. He wasn't going to judge that of course, but the smell was strong enough to annoying. He was going to guess that the father was making an assumption about him. "Shizuka, are there any panties that will fit her?"

"No, I don't think so." Shizuka couldn't imagine that her friend had panties that would fit a child.

"Okay... well... out the window then, we can get her new panties later."

He was not going to enjoy driving a humvee that smelled like piss.
