WOW! Here's another chapter of No Way Back! I didn't expect to be done this soon with the chapter. Frankly, I thought that I would be finishing this thing up sometime around Christmas/New Years. I bet you are all excited to have that little prediction wrong! As for this chapter, I have to say that it is on the longer end. Honestly, I feel like the chapter could have gone a little better as well. It is low stress, and it basically connects Chapter 20 to Chapter 22. A little drama that I am not a fan with, either, but I saw no other way around it. So, it is all compounded into this chapter. XD Maybe you all will have a different look at it.

I guess I should say it since this story had been getting a good amount of attention and support from both Fanficiton and AO3. So, thank you for the growing support, and I hope you all continue to enjoy what I have to produce.

Now, onto the Guest Reviews:

Guest #1: Please tell me that bee is good as in the show? She really is too much nice to see her evil or to die

Response: Now, I am not going to really spoil what my plans are for Beelzebub. However, I will confirm that I plan on using the design, personality, etc. of Bee that is shown in the show. I will be adding depth to her character since she is rather bare in that regard (she is a side character, after all).

Guest #2: Thank you for the update. Please update soon. I love this story

Response: I believe this constitutes being 'soon'. XD Still, thank you for the review and support!

ReadingBeta (Guest): Queen Bee? R we talking about the greatest party girl in all of hell? Who is hot in body n personality which makes her top tier for girls to bang? Who already has a boyfriend? Who once saw Satan without a shirt on? Update soon.

Response: Uhh, no idea on what to say here. Yeah, she will exist in the story. The only dude she will be with is Tex, so no comments on the other part. Update is here.

Guest #3: First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Now in regards to the chapter, I loved it! You absolutely nailed the interaction between Kyle and Stella! As brief as it was, I'm glad you really committed to it. Although when the episode "Seeing Stars" rolls around, it would be quite interesting for Kyle and Stella to work together out of necessity to find Octavia.

Speaking of Octavia, her and Loona being practicing magic will definitely be something to see!

But before we get to that, we have the girl's night out! Though I can only imagine what will happen with them. Maybe you could bring Ms. Mayberry from the "Murder Family" episode into this one as a one-off character, who knows?

P.S: To other reviewers, don't forget to like and comment on his stories in Archive of our own as well!

Response: Yeah! Happy (Late) Thanksgiving. Food, drinks (yes, those kinds), and sports! WHOOO!

Anyways, time to actually respond. I am happy to see that I didn't disappoint with Stella. Despite the brief interaction, I added a few more things to note which should keep her character a little interesting whenever she shows up. Also, I think you may have made a mistake? Stella is nowhere to be seen in the episode 'Seeing Stars'. I believe you are talking about Stolas.

I don't get too much into it for this chapter, but there will be some practicing between the two in the future.

I didn't add Ms. Mayberry into the chapter (sorry). I had characters already planned along with what I wanted to accomplish. She just didn't fit into the scene.

I appreciate the shoutout to the AO3 story! I am looking to grow that following as well. Also, Guest #4 created a response for you!

Guest #4: To the guest below (above) me,

I don't know what you mean by brief, it felt like that scene with Kyle and Stella was the perfect length to me!

Actually, the suggestion that you have for the "Seeing Stars" episode sounds like it could work given time and effort! I'd pay good money to see it, though!

Response: I am glad you thought it was perfect length! I just wanted to get a feel for her character, and it should be fun to write whenever she is involved. As for the other part of your review, I still haven't gotten there in planning. I don't see Stella (I still think Guest #3 made an error in who they were talking about) working with the group.

Guest #5: I'm already wondering how this Girls' night out is going to go!

P.S: Happy Holidays to you! Hope you're having fun, because I certainly am!

Response: The only way you can figure that out is by reading! I tried, and not to dissuade you, but I don't believe that it is my strongest chapter... Still, there are enjoyable moments to definitely catch.

Happy Holidays! I am being hit with a little bit of life, but hopefully I can work through it. XD

Guest #6: So, it's apparent that Stella knows something about the mark on Kyle's arm (I'd love to see how she arrived at that conclusion.). Though, we'll just have to see where that leads us.

Now I'm half excited and half worried about Kyle's meeting with the queen bee of Gluttony herself, Beelzebub. Though, I'll wait for the chapters before that one.

Response: That is a detail that I am happy you caught! It leads somewhere, maybe quickly or maybe way in the future. Guess we will have to find out together.

Ahh, you are worried about the inevitable. With Loona running into her inevitably during the Hellhound party, it is only a matter of time...

...

That's it for reviews. Please, enjoy and let's get to it!

Chapter 21: Girls' Night Out

3rd Person…

It was another typical, uneventful day at I.M.P. Moxxie and Millie were off somewhere else enjoying just chatting with one while they cleaned the company weapons. Blitzo was in his office enjoying some personal time that was growing more common over time. Kyle was grabbing some food for Loona and himself in the company kitchen while the Hellhound scrolled through the many Sinstagram posts out of sheer boredom.

Overall, nothing exciting was expected from today. There was no contract to fulfill, no place to be currently, and everything was settling within some sort of routine. A couple of weeks of magical training later for Loona, she found herself working through Stolas's lessons quite quickly. It was at the point where the Hellhound was even spending some time with Octavia to work alongside. She never considered herself the best student, but there was something about this. Perhaps it was just having a reason to work hard. Kyle believed in her, and that made her believe in herself. Anyway, the plan was to meet with Octavia in the evening.

Without warning, the door to I.M.P. burst open. Loona practically jumped out of her seat when she heard it before her eyes darted to the commotion. Out from the gap, the familiar smirking face of Verosika peaked through with her heart shades reflecting some light. This, without a doubt, meant that the day was going to become a whole lot more exciting.

Verosika commented, "Don't tell me I surprised you, Loony. Did I not tell you that I was coming?"

While collecting herself, Loona growled out, "No, you didn't."

Verosika finally stepped fully into the room before she fully walked into the room. She hummed, "Good. I was hoping to catch you and Kyle off guard. Seems like I missed him. Bummer."

Loona asked, "What are you doing here? Weren't you supposed to be busy with promotions, or something like that?"

Verosika let out a long sigh of relief before she sat on the reception desk. She pulled up her sunglasses before saying, "Yeah, well things fell through for us. I was expecting to have at least some free time with my group, but I think they were squirming to do something else. So, I just gave them the rest of the day."

With some sympathy, Loona responded, "Sorry to hear that…"

Verosika waved her off, "Oh, that's nothing. I was also looking forward to doing something away from them. No offense to them, but I do like some time away from them. We spend a lot of time together."

Before Loona could reply, there was a yell coming from Blitzo's office. Of course, it was said Imp, "Loona! Do we finally have a client?! Just send them-" Blitzo walked out and saw who had entered his business. His voice trailed off, "-in."

Verosika stared back with an unimpressed look. She cocked a hip before snorting out, "Blitzo."

"Harlot."

"Homewrecker!"

"Daywalker!"

Seemingly having enough, Loona yelled out, "Enough!" She turned to Blitzo before saying more calmly, "Did you have anything else you wanted to say?"

The scowl didn't leave Blitzo's face as he said, "I get that you are just hanging around here with my DAUGHTER to get a rise out of me! It's been hard enough getting used to the rookie, so I don't need your fishy smell lingering about."

Verosika let out a vexed sigh before grabbing onto Loona's shoulders from behind. She leaned down and looked around one side of the Hellhound's head, "Same old Blitzo. You always think that everyone is thinking about you. It appears that you haven't realized it, but you don't even cross my mind in my day-to-day life. I stopped thinking about you long ago, and I think that Loona should-" Verosika's eyes caught onto Loona's as she noticed the growing apprehension and sadness in them. She then avoided looking into the Succubus's eyes. Despite his current actions, the Hellhound still cared about him. Because of this, Verosika changed her tone, "You know what, I'm going to hold my tongue. Why don't you save Loona the trouble and get out of here? While you are at it, why not give Kyle a holler? I prefer his company over yours."

Blitzo clenched his teeth. Without coming up with a retort, "Rookie! A dollar store hooker is here to see you!"

He wasted no time before he sauntered back to his office. The door slammed behind him, and a few seconds passed before Kyle peered back into the reception area with food in his hands. Confusion surrounded him until he finally caught a glimpse of Verosika, who waved playfully at him. Realization of what Blitzo meant overcame him. He said, "I figured he was referring to you. I didn't think he would hate someone as much as he does you."

Verosika seemed to be pleased by the remark when she sighed. She responded, "The feeling is more than mutual. However, I know for a fact that he hates other demons more than me." She paused for a moment before asking, "He hasn't given you any trouble, has he?"

Kyle simply said, "I can take care of myself."

Verosika smirked, "Of course."

Kyle resumed, "We haven't said much to each other still. This is all on him, so I am just waiting for him to approach me so we can clear the air. It will happen at some point."

There was a small snort from Verosika before she said, "You are giving him too much credit. He doesn't open up about his feelings. He will just play these games instead, and then you will resent him."

Loona seemed tired of the conversation, so she interjected, "You were saying that you were free for the rest of the day?"

Verosika perked up, "Oh, yeah. Seeing as I am the only one of the bitches, sluts, and Tex to be free, I wanted to come over to see if you two are free. We could use a night of partying, drinking, and just a night to have fun."

Another interruption in the form of Moxxie and Millie walking into the room happened before Loona and Kyle could come up with a response. Millie was the first one to look around at the three before asking, "What's happenin' here? It sounded like a brawl was goin' on."

Moxxie surmised, "Seems like Blitz wasn't happy to have Verosika here."

Verosika smirked, "Can you blame me? If it weren't for Blitzo being around here, I would probably come around here every single day." She then pointed down at M&M, "Speaking of which, you two little cuties are also invited out for an evening of fun."

Stars formed in Millie's eyes as she sucked in a deep breath. She then squealed, "Y'all are going out! It's been so long since I have done anything like this! Count me in!"

Moxxie's expression was a little more solemn, "Millie got through cleaning most of her weapons, but I still have a lot to do. We have another client tomorrow, and I need to make sure all the company weapons are in tip-top shape. I don't think tonight would be the best time for me to take in a night of fun."

There was a slow, but steady decline in Millie's expression. She looked over at Moxxie before she sighed, "Maybe some other time-"

Before Millie could fully finish her sentence, Moxxie grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to look at him. He said, "No, you shouldn't be tied down to me. It's been a long time since you have been able to enjoy a night out, especially with friends. It's been at least since before we got married. You deserve the night off." Millie's pupils widened like a puppy while she looked back into Moxxie's. Moxxie followed up with a smile, "Please, go and enjoy it. I can finish cleaning your stuff, too. I'll be fine."

That seemed to be enough for Millie as she wrapped Moxxie into the tightest hug she could muster. Moxxie was gasping for air, and he was only relieved to breathe when Millie released him. He had no time to adjust before she released a torrent of kisses all over his face. He looked dizzy by the time the female Imp planted a deep kiss on his lips. She pulled away before loudly saying, "Thanks, sweetie! I'll find a way to repay you."

Verosika weighed in with a smile, "Smooth, little man. Don't be afraid to ask her to do anything you want."

Moxxie's eyes went wide as he looked back at his wife. Millie's eyes were filled with desire as she stared back at him. She even accentuated Verosika's point by growling out at him. Moxxie's face erupted into a blush that he found hard to keep at bay. He was going to find it very hard to keep his mind on clearing his guns with his mind on what was to come.

Verosika turned back to Loona and Kyle, "What about you two? It can't just be me and this little one."

Loona thought out loud, "Well, I promised Via that I would study with her. This magic stuff is no joke." She then responded directly to Verosika, "I guess I could call her and ask her if we could study together tomorrow. She's got the book tonight, anyway. I won't be holding her back."

Everyone then turned to Kyle expecting a quick answer. However, he seemed to be stuck in his mind as if a conversation were happening in his mind. His expression changed quickly until a defeated look overcame him, "I shouldn't. I have been relaxing a little too much on learning the secrets of my sword. I really should spend time on that tonight."

Loona's disappointment wasn't even hidden as she responded, "Dude, you have been on it practically every night over the last couple of weeks. You can take a break."

Kyle responded, "Yeah, I know. I have been trying to get a grasp of making portals to where I want within Hell. I am so close to a breakthrough on it…" He then looked around to see all who were going along on the trip. It started with Verosika, and now Millie and Loona were joining. It would be really weird with him being the only guy of the three. A sly thought came to mind, "It's already three of you girls. Why not just make it a girls' night out?"

Loona wasn't happy with him shifting the focus, and neither was Verosika. A pit formed in her chest when she heard that he wasn't going to join them. It almost felt like she had come over here for no reason at all. Still, she had a greater understanding than Loona that he was trying to form some sort of consolation for them. Knowing this made the Succubus appreciate him even more.

Verosika put on a fake smile, "You know what, I like the sound of that. It's been forever since I have had a real girls' night out."

Millie latched onto the idea immediately with a smile, "Sound like a blast!"

On the other side, Loona's frown never disappeared. The two haven't had a chance to hang out with one another without Blitzo watching from a distance. This was a real opportunity to be away from his prying eyes, and Kyle was sacrificing it to train with his sword. She understood that it wasn't entirely his decision, but rather the voice inside his head from that Fallen. It still hurt, so that didn't stop her from being sour about it.

Loona abruptly said, "I'm going to call Via about tonight."

Kyle was going to grab onto her shoulder and say something to her, but Loona walked swiftly out of his reach on her way to the kitchen. His shoulders deflated at seeing this, and he let out a long sigh in response. He spoke into his mind, "Great work there. I can have a break, you know."

In his mind, Azazel responded, "I don't think you realize how quickly things are moving. Stolas let you know what danger you are in, and I don't intend to have you or my plan eradicated before it starts. Little sacrifices need to be made, and this is but one of them."

Before Kyle could respond to him mentally, Verosika walked up beside him and said, "Seems like you aren't earning any points with Loona tonight like your little friend. Wanna tell me why you are against a little fun tonight, and what those looks you were giving Loona were all about?"

With a blank expression, he said, "It's all pretty complicated. Basically, there is this Fallen Angel who has decided that I am special, so he has given me powers. A lot of things are going on, so I need to be prepared. I guess that is why I am deciding not to go out tonight."

Verosika commented, "You are special, alright. None of it comes from those powers, either. I will say that you are showing a different kind of 'special'. You are being unusually dense. None of what you said made sense. You can't take one night off? Can't say I am happy about that, and I was looking forward to spending some time with you as well."

There was a certain look that Verosika was shooting Kyle. It was a mixture of pleading and guilt-tripping. It was quite far away from her usual sexy and suggestive tones. Kyle pinched the bridge of his nose while he said, "Of course, you are taking her side…" He then looked at Verosika before saying, "I can tell you all about what is keeping me in Hell when we have more time. For now, let's focus on the other issue. You sounded excited to have a girls' trip. Besides, wouldn't it be weird having me with three girls?"

Verosika hummed for a moment before she smirked, "You are probably right. You would get devoured alive by the three of us, just in different ways. Besides, I can't have you stealing all my spotlight."

Kyle questioned, "Isn't that something that famous pop stars should be worried about? I mean, you are going to be hounded over by a bunch of random peop—I mean—demons? Not only that, but you are going out with an Imp and Hellhound."

Verosika let out a sigh before saying, "I have gotten over all that social circle stuff over the last couple of months. I don't worry about it because I'm a trendsetter. In a couple of weeks, almost every higher demon will find a friend with a lower one." Verosika leaned in uncomfortably close to the human before saying, "Besides, I know what you are really worried about. You are worried that I will be scooped up by some sexy demon while we are out."

"Uhh…" Kyle was really at a loss for words at what Verosika was suggesting. He found the entire idea completely ludicrous, but a part of him wasn't entirely convinced. A deep pit formed in his stomach formed at the idea. Soon, a scowl formed on his face.

Verosika laughed, "I am just messing with you. I won't be the least bit interested. I can't quite place it, but I haven't felt like doing something like that with randos in a while. I have even been getting some glances from others around the Lust Ring." A smile crept wider on her face as she said, "Besides, I'm not the one you should be watching for. It's our dear Loona who will get all the attention."

Kyle gritted out, "I know why you are doing this, and it's not funny, Vee."

Instead of admitting it, Verosika played dumb. She playfully said, "I don't know what you are talking about. I'm just saying that Loony is a real cutie. She will gather all the right attention while we are out. She's even a little upset at you, so who knows what could happen. She might take one up on an offer to take her to their place." Kyle's eyes narrowed at Verosika after this. Seeing no other reaction, Verosika's demeanor switched to a defeated one, "Not doing it for you? Fine, it was worth a shot. I just think you would have some fun out."

Without saying a word, Kyle responded by folding his arms and looking at her with a stony look. Verosika felt a bit guilty about the manipulation. She couldn't lie, it was a tactic that she had used in the past with previous boyfriends. That did include Blitzo, and she did have a pretty good success rate with it. When it failed, it tended to leave the guy she was pretty upset. It didn't tend to bother her, but she felt differently when she tried it on Kyle. The feeling of guilt was almost unbearable, especially when he turned away from her while rolling his eyes. He wasn't even buying into it.

She finally cracked before saying, "Look, I can be a bitch sometimes. I shouldn't have said any of that. So, I'm sorry."

Verosika expected no response from him. Instead, he simply said, "You definitely can be one, but you're forgiven." Verosika's eyes shot open as she looked at him. Before she could say anything, Kyle added, "I get it. I'm a bit of a party pooper. Not like I want to miss out on hanging out, but this is just a night that doesn't work well for me. I will find a way to make it up to both you and Loona."

A blush formed on Verosika's face. When she heard that he intended to make it up to her. Her mind didn't immediately move onto what innuendos she could make with such a promise. Instead, something else came to mind, and it was something serious. It wasn't often when she would make a request, but she bit her bottom lip when it came to mind. Seeing as it would qualify as a 'date', she was unsure whether she should even ask.

After a couple of seconds, Verosika persuaded herself to move forward and ask. She began, "L-Look, Kyle, there is s-something that you could do. I a-actually wanted to ask you-"

Before she could fully finish her sentence, Loona walked into the room while groaning, "Well, she wasn't happy about me canceling. Can't say I don't blame her. I wouldn't want someone to bail on me after plans were made."

Verosika mentally slapped herself for stuttering. She could have probably just gotten it out of the way if she didn't act like a Succubus going up to the surface for the first time. Instead, she concealed her irritation by smirking at Loona and asking, "This is the Goetian girl you were messaging me about earlier this week, right?" Loona nodded, and Verosika continued, "Ooo, should I be jealous?"

Loona dryly stated, "No one can compare to you, Vee."

A small laugh escaped Verosika's lips before she said, "You're not wrong about that."

Loona said, "Via's cool, and I like hanging out with her. We're not too different, and I could see us hanging out sometime. She's been wanting to see what it's like to hang out with demons like me, and she isn't happy that she isn't coming."

Verosika asked like it was the most obvious thing ever, "Uhh, why not just invite the little thing? Things tend to be explicit around me, but I don't see that happening here."

Kyle interjected, "If her dad found out, things would not turn out well for anyone. Let's just say that he can be a bit protective of Octavia, especially if it comes down to being around the average denizen."

Loona pointed at me like I said her point before she added, "She made me promise to send her pictures of us having fun. It makes it sound like those two big birds don't let her have any fun on her own."

Verosika nodded before she caught the look that Kyle was giving Loona. She decided to say, "I'm going to give you two a minute. Just let me know when you are ready to leave. I will talk to the little ones."

With that, Verosika walked over to Moxxie and Millie. Loona was confused before Kyle moved in closer to her. She remembered that she was angry at him before she walked away to talk to Octavia on the phone. She crossed her arms before looking at him through narrowed eyes.

Kyle asked, "Are you really that mad?"

Loona's anger returned, "Yes! We finally had a chance to do something together without having to deal with Blitz! I know he is trying to not be a pain in the ass, but he still manages to get in the way!" Loona calmed down a little before saying, "Verosika's plate has been too full, so we haven't been able to use her. You know Blitz wants nothing to do with her! Tonight could have been… different…" Loona adverted her gaze while a blush formed on her face.

Things were finally coming together a little for Kyle, or so he thought. He let out a sigh before saying, "You're not really mad at me. This has more to do with Blitz, doesn't it? Haven't you talked to him about this?"

Loona looked back at me with a deadpan look, "No, I am mad at you, but I am also mad at Blitz. I know why you are doing it, but you are still choosing to do something else tonight. Blitz won't listen to me. You need to find time to talk to him. I wouldn't tonight. He is not in a good mood."

"Yeah, I got that from his yelling and door-slamming." Kyle grabbed onto Loona's shoulders before saying, "I will talk to him when I can. As for tonight, I'm really sorry. I know that you are going to have some fun without me. Just know that I will try and make it up to you."

Loona wanted to keep her disappointed look, but the plea in his eyes directed her another way. Her coldness disappeared as her face relaxed. She then sighed before a small smile formed on her lips, "Fine. You are fucking impossible to argue against, anyways. I will try and think of something in the meantime."

Kyle smiled back, "Yeah, I know." He then motioned toward Verosika who was waiting by Moxxie and Millie having a fierce session of 'goodbye'. He added, "Seems like a fun group to be a part of. Have fun."

Loona nodded as she separated from him. Who knows what was going to happen tonight. Mentally, Loona was sort of craving something a little calmer. Millie always seemed hungry for some fighting, and Verosika was always up for some real partying. As for Loona, she didn't know what she wanted. She was more or less open to anything the night had to offer.

Later in the Evening…

Things had gotten quite interesting for the three girls within the first couple hours of spending time together. Loona never saw herself as a dress-type of person, but she was convinced otherwise tonight. Verosika had a little more experience in this department, so Loona found herself wearing a simple black dress outfit with a small belt around her waist. She wore none of her usual clothing other than the collar that she was so used to.

The three were currently riding in Verosika's car. Since Loona was sitting in the front along with Verosika driving, she was able to get a good look at the other two. Taking a glance backward, Loona was able to get a good look at the Imp in the backseat. Millie was wearing a more ashy-colored, strapless getup. Nothing stood out spectacularly as Millie preferred to 'show off her stuff when she was out on a date with Moxxie'. Loona then looked to the side to see that Verosika was wearing a short, pearl dress with a single strap that came over her shoulder. She seemed rather pleased with how things turned out.

Loona focused back forward before asking, "Okay, you got us all dolled up. Where are you taking us now?"

Millie doubled, "Yeah! Where are we going now?"

Verosika simply smiled before saying, "Well, it is a place with the best music, food, and drinks for us all to enjoy. Yes, I am talking about Brimstone."

Loona's ears popped up when she heard this, "Brimstone? Don't demons typically get way too carried away when partying there?"

Verosika nodded, "Yeah, and I expect it to be no different than when I usually go there. There is always a fight that breaks out. They will kick you out if that happens, but they won't stop you from coming again if you are high-profile enough."

Loona commented, "Yeah, and it is always completely packed. Seeing as you are Verosika Mayday, you probably don't have a problem with getting in each time."

The car suddenly stopped, and they looked at the glowing lights of Brimstone. It was a rather large club, and the crowds that were outside seemed to have only made the building stand out more. Loona's eyes couldn't even look away. She never imagined coming here, especially in the company of one of Hell's most famous faces.

Verosika chuckled, "Yeah, this will be no problem. We should be able to get whatever table we want, too."

The three exited the vehicle with different outlooks on the night. Millie was super excited as her steps seemed light. Verosika was the tamest out of the three as she confidently walked forward with her heels clicking on the ground. As for Loona, she rubbed her arms with an unsure expression. Hellhounds were very rarely allowed within this particular club. Being one with the chance made her feel awkward and paranoid.

They finally made it to the crowd, and it seemed like they would have some problem navigating their way through. This was when the Succubus took the lead with the two in tow. She made it to the side of the building, and there was a small path to the front of the line completely devoid of any demons. It was obvious to the other two that this was a line exclusively for VIPs. While they were with Verosika, they were going to be considered VIPs.

When they made it to the door, they were stopped by a rather large-looking male demon bouncer from the Envy Ring. His glowing eyes looked over Verosika before he smiled broadly, "Welcome back, Miss Mayday. You are free to enter. A table should be available to you."

His eyes then looked at Loona and Millie. He seemed far less impressed by the two of them. Millie seemed unconcerned by it while Loona felt self-conscious about it all. Not only that but there were a lot of gazes from everyone else waiting in the other line. There was a lot of anger, a ton of envy, and even some mummers amongst the crowd. Loona knew she wasn't in the wrong place, but it felt like she was.

Verosika cleared her throat before she spoke with a tense voice, "Is there a problem with my friends?"

The bouncer looked back to Verosika before he practically sweated bullets. He responded, "N-N-No. I-If they are w-with you, t-t-then they are w-welcome to e-enter as well."

With that, Verosika gave her best fake smile, "Thanks!" She pushed past the bouncer before calling back to Millie and Loona, "Let's go, girls! We have a fun night ahead of us!"

Millie passed through the doorway without much issue while Loona followed. As she went through, she gave a glare toward the bouncer while letting out a small growl. It wasn't long before the three finally made it through a small hallway and into the great open space. To say that it was overcrowded would be an understatement. There were areas where patrons were standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their drinks in hand. The music was quite loud as well, but a conversation could be held at a table. There was also a place for people to dance if they chose to.

Loona felt her ears shift around at the various sounds going on. Her focus was hard to keep in one place. She finally tried to ask Verosika something, "Uhh-" Before she could even say something, Verosika grabbed her hand and pulled her along as they weaved through the crowd. Millie had less trouble being the nimble and dexterous Imp that she was. She managed to dodge through the small gaps.

It didn't take long for the three to enter a less crowded area with a bunch of tables and booths. Verosika stopped for a second before she spotted a booth that called her. It was in a quieter corner, and she knew that the other girls would have no issue with it. She led the group there before taking a seat.

Loona was the first to ask as she sat down, "How did you find this place, Vee?"

Verosika rolled her eyes at the thought before saying, "I hate to say it, but I found this place while I was dating Blitzo. He decided to get drunk here and dance around before throwing up all over the floor. He was promptly kicked out. I had no other choice than to babysit him for the night."

I sigh escaped Loona as she said, "Yep… That's sounds like him."

Remembering what she promised to do, Loona turned to get both Millie and Verosika in the frame of her selfie before she smiled. She snapped a picture and sent a small apology message to Octavia about tonight before hitting 'send'. It was quick, but the picture wasn't half bad with the other two not paying attention. Loona did feel a bit of guilt just not being able to study with the Goetian princess.

Loona turned to look over at the other two as they talked. Millie was looking over a drink menu before she asked, "This all looks expensive. How much is everything?"

Verosika plucked the menu out of the Imp's grasp before she smiled down at her. She said, "I don't want you to worry about a single thing tonight. All the drinks are going to be on me. I just want you and Loony to have a good time. Got it?"

Millie beamed back, "Yes, ma'am!"

Without any words, Verosika looked over to a server before motioning with her fingers. There seemed to be no confusion about what she wanted. Three drinks were promptly made and brought over to the three. When a glass was placed in front of Millie and Loona, they just stared at it with confusion as to what it was. It was nothing that Millie was familiar with, and Loona didn't know what it was based on looks alone.

Loona asked, "Uhh, what did you order?"

Verosika said, "I just wanted to start our group off with something nice and sweet. It's something from the surface world, but I know that it has vodka and strawberries."

Millie commented, "Mixed drinks? I know my Pa says that anything that takes away from the burning and bitterness is for weaklings."

The only thing that Verosika replied with was a sip of her drink with a knowing look. This caused Loona and Millie to look at one another before they shrugged and tasted it. Their faces shifted from speculative to one of enjoyment. Millie was the first one to swallow with a hum.

The Imp couldn't help but say, "Wow! I didn't expect it to taste so sweet! It tastes like it could be candy!"

Verosika seemed pleased by the comment before she looked over to Loona. She asked, "So, what are your thoughts? I know it isn't as simple as beer or straight liquor, but you must admit that it is good."

Loona was in the process of swallowing, but then something caught her eye. Within the crowd, a familiar silhouette was making its way over to them. Wearing a goth-style dress, she walked over awkwardly while trying to avoid any unnecessary attention. Despite this quiet presence, the owl demon's red eyes looked around with curiosity. Once she got even closer, the fibers of her dress seemed to hold the stars themselves as it glowed a silent white. The one thing that hadn't changed was the beanie she continued to wear. She, however, decided to leave her crown behind. The last detail was the bag in her clutches that was holding a solitary boxy item. The figure spotted them and walked a little quicker.

Loona was coughing while she swallowed the rest of her drink. Verosika thought her surprise and choking was about something else, "That bad? That's the last time I try to think ahead."

Shaking her head, Loona pointed forward to the one walking toward them. Millie looked over, and instantly remembered the face. She couldn't help but say, "Hey, you're the prince's daughter-"

"Via?! What are you doing here?!" Loona couldn't hold her voice back once she recovered from her drink mishap. Luckily, no one seemed to notice or care enough to look over.

Octavia replied once she was close enough, "Seeing as you backed out of meeting me, I got bored with sitting around my room. I wanted to see what demons like you did for fun, so here I am. I even decided to dress up in this stupid dress that my dad bought me for when he thought I was ready to attend one of the parties my mom threw. Glad that never happened."

Loona's surprise was soon replaced with a bit of panic, "How did you find us?!"

In response, Octavia pulled out her phone to show Loona the picture that she sent. It was a picture that she also posted to her Sinstagram, and unknown to the Hellhound, she forgot that her location was showing in the post. Loona's expression dropped at that. Octavia then said, "It wasn't that hard to find you. One portal later, I ended up in the bathroom. I wish I ended up somewhere else, but I am still new at making portals."

"Isn't your dad going, you know, freak out?"

Octavia giggled before saying, "Naw. He is too preoccupied with his drama binge to notice. Plus, I'm not going to say a word if you aren't, so he won't find out." There was a second or two of silence before the owl continued, "Can I sit or something?"

Verosika smiled before being the one to respond, "I'm fine if you want to join. What do you say, Loona?"

Loona growled out, "Fine, but she's not drinking. I know for a fact that she isn't old enough, and I wouldn't care too much about it if I didn't have to deal with her dad afterward."

Like that, the group had expanded by one more, and the inclusion of the Goetian princess only made them all a lot more interesting. Verosika seemed pleased as she said, "Good. You can't turn away someone who puts this much effort into meeting you here. I am always happy to meet someone so cute, and it being a demon that Loona knows makes it even better. I'm Verosika."

Octavia let out an amused breath before saying, "Yeah, I know who you are."

Verosika cocked a brow, "Oh? A little fan, are we? Via, wasn't it?"

There was a nod from the owl in response before she said, "Yeah, that or Octavia. Either works for me. I've listened to a bit of your music. It's not bad, but I prefer something a little more somber." Verosika expected as much, but she didn't expect Octavia to be as direct with her answer as she was. She was slightly taken aback by the comment, but she didn't even get a chance to respond before Octavia looked at Millie. She commented, "Hey, I remember you. You're one of those Imps that's employed by another dickhead Imp my dad would flirt with. Uhh, nice to see you again, I guess."

Millie beamed, "Glad to see you are doing well, sweetie!"

This sort of unobstructed happiness seemed to be infectious to Octavia. Things at home weren't exactly the best, so having someone like Millie around made her crack a small smile. Without any warning, a drink was placed in front of her as it was with everyone else. Octavia's looked a little different than everyone else's. She looked it over with a careful eye.

Verosika picked hers up and sipped it before saying, "Don't worry. Your drink isn't going to contain any alcohol. I think Loona would blow a fuse if you went back home with any sort of buzz."

Loona chided, "It's not me who you'll have to worry about! Besides, I wasn't even done with my first one!"

The Hellhound's comments were waved off by Verosika, "Don't be a party-pooper, Loony. Besides, you should be keeping up with me. I want to see you dancing tonight."

This was met with a growl, "I don't intend to get that fucking hammered, so good luck."

With that, Verosika's eyes narrowed at Loona in a challenging way. The night was still very young, and anything could happen. With a group like this, that statement felt even more true.

A little later…

Things had progressed quite slowly in terms of the drinks served to the girls. There was even a little bit of food thrown in there, but nothing had quite kicked off yet. Mostly, each of them was sort of getting used to one another. Except for Loona, the other three were unfamiliar with each other. When Loona was thinking about hanging out with Verosika, she didn't expect things to turn into twenty questions.

Loona's phone buzzed in her hand, and she partially expected it to be Kyle asking her how things were going. Her eyes widened when she instead saw the name 'Vortex' leading the message he sent. She opened the message and read it carefully before a deep smile formed on her face. The Hellhound couldn't help but smile before saying, "Oh, shit!"

Octavia asked, "What?"

Loona continued to look at her phone as she reread the message to see if she was imagining things. Verosika decided to say after there was no response, "You can't just yell 'oh, shit' and not cue us in."

After a few blinks, Loona finally said, "Tex just invited me to the next party that he is helping to host! I have been waiting for something like this for months!"

Millie seemed equally excited for Loona, "Oh, Alright!"

Octavia was less impressed, but that seemed to be her usual tone. She said, "I suppose this is different than the parties that my mom threw. My dad never came back happy from them, and they just sounded like something that the guests used to impress and one-up each other."

Verosika rolled her eyes at that image, "Well, no offense, but it sounds like your mom doesn't know how to throw parties. The Ars Goetians sound like they never got a handle on how to throw a good rager, at least nothing compared to what those Hellhounds can pull off in Gluttony."

Octavia let out a small laugh and smiled, "Yeah, that sounds about right."

Attention was now directed at Loona. Verosika asked, "What else can you tell us? Any instructions, perhaps when it will happen? Are you allowed to bring anyone along?"

As her throat tightened, she asked, "Umm, y-yeah. Tex said I should have Kyle tag along." Once that was said, Millie and Verosika looked at one another. For Verosika, it was a sort of happy smug look that the Succubus had perfected. Millie's was also just as knowing, but it was more excited. Loona knew this was coming, but she growled out, "What?"

Octavia wasn't as knowledgeable, but she was able to quickly draw a conclusion from it. She asked, "Wait, are you and him a thing? I would have thought that him being a human…"

Verosika shaking her head made Octavia's voice trail off. This was followed by Verosika saying, "Nope, Loona hasn't done anything like that, and Kyle is too afraid to fuck things up." The last comment was met with a glare from Loona. Verosika only shrugged her shoulders, "What? You don't remember that entire mess with his ex? You were even there, and I just had to hear about it. Even I know that shit is still affecting him."

Loona bared her teeth, "What does that have to do with anything? Are you trying to imply something?"

Millie and Octavia sat at the sides while they enjoyed their drinks with interest. While Loona was hoping Verosika would just shut up, her looks did nothing to stop the Succubus. Verosika wasn't in the least bit intimidated, "Well, you are afraid to fuck things up, too, but for a different reason. You should know that he likes you, probably even loves you. You need to seal that deal before another lucky demon swoops in."

The Imp and Goetian princess sitting at the side then looked over to Loona awaiting her response. The conversation did nothing to temper Loona's sour mood. It was apparent by how her pupils narrowed at Verosika, "Are you finally admitting something, Vee?"

Verosika smirked back, "If you are afraid that I am going to steal him from you, don't. I think Millie's little husband spilling the beans about what happened between you two is a little unfair to you. So, I think it is long overdue to finally admit this. Yes, I am very interested in the human. I don't know why, but I am drawn to him more than I have ever been to someone else." Loona was unsure how to react to this, so she just sat there passively. Verosika added, "Don't worry yourself, Loony. I don't intend to steal him away. I am going to invite him for a nice evening at Ozzie's, just the two of us. I never got the chance to since I was too tentative."

Millie breathed out, "Ozzie's? Wow! I've always wanted to go there!"

Getting sidetracked, Verosika responded, "Yeah, the big man Ozzie himself likes to have some famous faces from Lust there occasionally. I usually just go there to enjoy the top-shelf booze, but this time it is going to be different. I will have my picture taken and say whatever they want. After that, I intend to enjoy a peaceful meal with my date." Verosika offhandedly stated, "Oh, well. I will just have to ask him tomorrow seeing as I am to attend Ozzie's in a couple of days. So, Loona needs to be quick if she wants to beat me to it."

After she was done talking, the sound of nails dragging across the wooden surface of the table came from Loona's side. Loona asked through her teeth, "When are you going?"

Verosika confirmed, "Yeah, this Friday." Loona's expression didn't change, and the Succubus was able to guess why. She laughed, "Wait, don't tell me that party is happening on the same night. Oh, well. It looks like you missed your chance to make the first move. I left you plenty of time to do something, so don't blame me for what happens next."

There was no way Loona was going to relent on this. She placed her hands on the table and leaned over toward Verosika, "There is no fucking way that's going to happen!"

This was met with an amused look from Verosika, "What are you going to do, ask him before I get the chance?" She waved off that idea dismissively, "That's going to make it awkward for him if we both ask him out. Besides, I think we need to settle this thing a little more civilly. Even Blitzo and I worked out a dispute without ripping each other apart."

From the side, Octavia asked Millie, "So, what's both of their deals? They both want to ask him out?"

The Imp female nodded, "That's how it looks. Personally, I think more is going on here between the two of them. It almost feels like a competition between me and my siblings."

Octavia mumbled, "I can say that it is a lot calmer than what's happening between my parents."

Despite this, it didn't look like either one of them was willing to back down. Loona looked a little more serious compared to Verosika, but it was unlikely that the latter was messing around with this. It was rare for Millie to act as an intermediary, but the situation was unlikely to resolve itself. The first thing that came to mind was giving the two knives to fight it out. She quickly shook her head at that thought before she looked for another idea. Finally, one came to her.

Millie stood on the booth seat before waving down an Imp waitress. Once she was in earshot, Millie said, "Can you bring us a lot of shots? We need some of the hard shit."

The waitress walked away to fulfill Millie's request. Both Verosika and Loona looked confused by what Millie was doing. Loona asked, "Uhh, want to tell us what that was all about, Mills?"

"You two need to sort this thing out." Millie waited for a second before a handful of shots filled with clear liquor were placed on the table in front of them. She then said while splitting the glasses, "It doesn't matter whether you two talk it out or have a little contest, this night won't end until one of you forfeits."

Loona scoffed, "We're not going to settle this by getting drunk."

Verosika was already on board with the idea. She smirked before grabbing a shot, "It sounds like you are afraid to lose something, Loona. It's just a date. It's not like I am beating you at having sex with him."

This was met with another growl. Loona's cheeks darkened. The other two decided that it was best to stay completely out of this. Octavia was far too shocked by what information she was hearing. As for Millie, she slowly inched up one of the glasses until it was within Loona's grasp.

The Hellhound's eyes flicked to the glass before she snatched it up with irritation. She snatched the glass with a scowl, "Fine! This is going to keep me from slamming my fist against your face."

Both of them quickly brought down their drink before the glasses clattered against the table. Neither one showed on their face how much the alcohol burned. The only indication that Millie and Via got that it was strong was the pleasant hum Verosika let out, "My, my. It's been a while since I have had a drink this strong."

Loona decided to get right into it, "Why do you need to bring him? Why not just go with one of the other countless other dudes who would love to have a chance at you? Maybe someone from your posse. Blitz might be a better choice seeing as he is still printed on your arm."

Verosika arched a brow before looking down at 'Blitzo' crossed off on her right below her right shoulder. He let out a stifled chuckle before saying, "I've been meaning to change that, and I could ask you the same question, Loony. You know, you are cuter than you know, so you should have no problem finding someone else." Verosika picked up another drink before saying, "Plus, you had your fun with him. It's my turn. If this thing is going to work, you are going to have to learn to share."

The Succubus was already downing her next drink before Loona had the opportunity to fully grasp what was said last. When she finally did, she shouted, "Share him?! What the fuck, Vee?!"

Loona's claws dragged across the table until Millie pushed a glass into her grasp. Loona grabbed the drink aggressively before drinking. Verosika used this opportunity to respond, "I was thinking about it since we went to the beach. He and I, we have this connection that is different than anything I have ever had before. It's hard to describe, but I just know what I feel in here." Verosika held a hand on her chest. Loona's hostility dropped the smallest amount since she knew exactly what the Succubus was talking about. She continued, "We all had a really good time together at the beach, and the two of you… The two of you just work, and I know you feel the same. I couldn't ruin that, and I don't want to. I'm not out to sabotage you or take him away. I want you there, too."

By this time, the two felt like they were downing drinks every ten seconds. The effects of the alcohol were slowly taking effect, but only barely. Loona was unsure how to feel about this. A nagging sensation about 'sharing' didn't sit entirely well with her. Was it selfish of her to want Kyle to herself? She didn't think so. However, there was some sort of ease that Loona felt as well. Verosika wasn't trying to cut her out. She was from Lust, after all. They tend to have an unorthodox approach to this kind of stuff even compared to the rest of Hell.

Loona asked, "Why do you want me there? Wouldn't it just be easier for it to be just one of us?"

Verosika rolled her eyes before getting up from where she was sitting. She left behind the glass in her hand before she sat beside the Hellhound. Loona, surprised by the move, leaned away. Verosika caressed Loona's cheek lightly. She then said, "Of course it would be. A few months ago, if I wanted something, I would stop at nothing to get it. Things have changed since meeting him, and you too, Loona. This is something that I would love to give a try."

Before Loona could even react, Verosika lightly leaned in before the tip of her lips connected with her own. Just as quickly as it happened, it was over. The wetness and tenderness of the Succubus left a phantom sensation on the Hellhound's lips. Verosika leaned back while Loona comprehended. Vee said, "If that doesn't get the message across, I don't know what will."

Loona's entire face felt like it was on fire. Similarly, the two seemed to have forgotten that they were with Millie and Octavia. Millie's eyes were widened by the display of affection while Octavia felt herself shielding herself from residual embarrassment. She was so unused to these kinds of displays.

Loona finally stuttered, "L-L-Look. I-I-I don't."

Verosika began to laugh out loud before containing herself, "I guess that was a bit of the booze talking. I've toned back my drinking a little bit since I've gotten to know the two of you." She laughed a little more before waving Loona off, "I know you don't roll that way, Loona. I've experimented a little bit with other girls, but I'm not like that, either. I just want you to know that I need you, too. Just in a different way."

Loona avoided eye contact, "Yeah… I guess I will think about it."

Seemingly pleased with the outcome, Verosika went back to where she was sitting before. Finally, Millie interrupted, "Aww! That was adorable!"

Verosika cocked a brow, "I thought you were the more murder-y one out of you and your man."

Loona shook herself out of her stupor before saying, "Yeah, she gets like this, too."

This was met with the brightest smile that Millie could muster. This just told the Hellhound that the Imp was going to cue in Moxxie about what had transpired tonight. It was inevitable that he would find out since Millie couldn't keep her trap shut about this type of stuff. She just doesn't need Kyle to find out about this little conversation before she is ready for him to.

Octavia cleared her throat before saying, "I don't want to be the downer here, but you two still haven't figured out what you are going to do." The Goetian princess mumbled, "Why do I feel like I am acting the oldest out of the group…"

Verosika and Loona blinked at one another. It seems like the admission of deeper things between the two of them got in the way of the present. Neither one of them knew what to do. The more awkward thing was that Loona felt no desire to go back to her angry state.

Loona's jaw dropped, "Uhh…"

Verosika was the first one to have a thought ready to be spoken, "So, what's going to happen? Am I bringing Kyle along to Ozzie's, or is he going to party with you?"

There wasn't an immediate response. Loona felt conflicted. She felt the fibers of her being fighting against the idea of letting him go with Verosika, but she also felt some guilt. It wasn't hard to see that the alone time with him was rather one-sided. The worry of him being 'stolen' had subsided to the point that it no longer became a point of concern.

Then, the thoughts of what he would be doing for each night came to mind. Loona knew that part of her would be leaning on him the whole night while at the Hellhound party. His personality didn't scream 'partier', but he was more social than she ever was. This was an opportunity to grow a little socially, and to maybe gain a new friend or two. Perhaps it would be best if she stood on her own two feet for this, especially with how big of a deal going to something like this would be.

Loona thought about how he would treat a night at Ozzie's. It was exclusive, and he would, undoubtedly, have an enjoyable evening with Verosika if he went. It was a place that Asmodeus himself owned and operated. The prince was even there nearly every night.

Her breath caught in her throat. Kyle's plan seemed to come back to mind. To have an opportunity to see Asmodeus himself seemed like a chance that he wouldn't want to miss. It sounded ludicrous at first, but now Loona felt herself agreeing with what he had said. Personally, Loona's experiences with being abandoned at the Hellhound adoption center left its mark. If the Sin of Lust was anything like the Sin of Gluttony, she desperately wanted to help Kyle in any way she could. If that meant this small sacrifice for Kyle to get eyes on Asmodeus, it was the small sacrifice that she was going to have to make.

Seeing how Loona was so quiet, Verosika continued with a singsong voice, "If you do this for me, I'll make sure you get something in return. I could do something for you, or maybe I could convince Kyle to-"

Loona cut her off, "Okay. You can ask him to go to Ozzie's with you."

Verosika blinked a few times along with everyone else. The Succubus asked, "W-What? You sure?"

With a nod, Loona replied, "Yep. I won't get in the way."

Verosika's smile started small, but then it broadened. She mused, "I didn't think that promise would hook you. It might be a hard sale at first, but I am sure I could convince him to do something hot for you."

Loona shook her head while blushing, "No, that's not why I am agreeing." She pinched the bridge of her nose to contain herself, "It's hard to explain why, but you can bring him to Ozzie's. I know you will make it fun for him."

The excitement that Verosika felt was completely new. She felt herself bound out of her seat before bringing Loona up into a tight hug. She wanted to jump up and down while she said, "Oh my Satan! I'm going to make it up to you, Loony!"

Before Loona could pull away, the music in the background switched to a loud, fast-paced beat. It wasn't only noticed as Verosika turned her head to hear it better. She pulled away partially while still holding onto Hellhound's arm. Filled with euphoria, she looked over to the other two, "Come on, girls! We're going to get a little dancing in."

Millie seemed game as she parkoured over the table with a grin plastered on her face. Octavia, not exactly a fan of the idea, groaned, "Do I have to?"

Verosika quipped, "You came along with us because you wanted to know what us lower demons do? This is something we do for fun."

With a small thought, Octavia sighed before she got up out of the booth. Loona seeing everyone agreeing to this made her panic a little. She said, "Wait, I don't-"

Verosika was not having any of it as she dragged Loona along with her and toward the dancefloor. Once there, it almost seemed natural for the Succubus with how she moved along with the beat. Her hips swung around without a care as happiness practically radiated from her. Loona knew that this burst of energy and excitement was because of her conceding on her plans. To see that this was the effect of that gave Loona a burst of both pride and happiness for her friend. Still, she found it hard to get into the spirit of dancing.

Verosika spoke over the pulsing beat, "Come on, Loona! That can't be it! You must bring some game if you are planning on dancing at a Hellhound party!" She then pointed over to Millie who seemed to be dancing as well, "Even your friend is getting into the music."

Loona looked over, but then she noticed how Octavia was looking around at everyone else dancing. She didn't seem interested in partaking. Because of this, Loona pointed over and said, "How about Via? She is about as interested as I am."

Verosika dismissed, "That girl doesn't get out much, so she is learning what it means to have fun. She is still enjoying herself. Look."

Sure enough, even though Octavia wasn't dancing, she was still looking around with curious eyes at everyone. This was an entire world that she had been shielded from. Mostly, her father had done so to protect her from those who would want to have their wealth and bodies. As for her mother, she wouldn't dare let her daughter mingle with the lower classes. Getting this experience was something that she was looking forward to tonight.

Loona sighed before she did her best to emulate Verosika with a few other moves thrown in. Her tail swung along with her hips. The movements of her hips traveled up her waist and stomach before they reached her shoulders allowing them to sway. Her hair bounced slightly as well. It wasn't a bad attempt to get with the music.

Verosika spoke with an impressed tone, "There we go! Now you're getting with it! Did you know that Tex has a little rhythm?"

Loona's ears popped up at hearing this, "No shit?"

Verosika laughed, "Seriously. I can see him tapping his foot sometimes when I perform. He tries so hard to keep it contained."

Trying to get a mental image of the Hellhound vibing with the music made Loona giggle a little. She never even realized that her movements became less restricted. She felt freer than before as she finally started having a ton of fun. However, things in Hell only seemed to last for so long. It didn't take long before the two girls felt the presence of two other demons. This time, they were two male shark demons. From the way they started to approach the two, Loona knew what their deal was.

The one closest to Verosika was the lighter of the two. His color was a pale blue, and his eyes matched it very well. His suit seemed to mirror something straight out of a bad '80s romcom fit with strong colors and disorder. His first sentence wasn't that inspiration, "You girls come here often?"

Verosika's expression soured immediately. She spoke with venom, "Step back before something gets cut off."

The demon didn't seem deterred one bit, "You're that popstar, Verosika Mayday, right? What's a beauty like you doing here? The name's Jared."

This time, Loona's eyes constricted as she prodded Jared on the chest hard, "She told you to fuck off! She's not interested."

Jared whistled with an impressed look as he looked Loona up and down. Behind her, she heard the other demon speak, "I've got to say that you aren't half bad for a Hellhound. Your figure fills out that dress in all the right places."

Loona's hair on her neck stood on end as she bared her teeth at the guy. Without warning, Jared grabbed onto Verosika's shoulders before he said, "Why don't we take this somewhere a little quieter? I know how you Lust girls like to scream when faced with bigger things."

Before Verosika or Loona could do or say anything, Jared's deafening screams startled them into inaction. The shark demon then fell forward showing that a furious Millie was standing behind him yielding one of her signature knives. Her eyes showed that she was completely unhinged, and she seethed, "If you lay one more hand on my friend, I will cut that 'bigger thing' off and feed it to ya!"

Loona sounded impressed, "Damn, Mills. We had it handled."

Millie started, "I know, but I just couldn't-"

The demon behind Loona screamed out, "You dumb Imp bitch! I'm going rip you-"

Before he could do anything, a portal opened beneath him which he fell immediately into. Somewhere off the dance floor, the other end of the portal dropped him onto a table carrying dozens of glasses of alcoholic beverages. The shattering of glass and cracking of bones seemed to echo above the sound of the music.

The three girls turned around to see Octavia closing the familiar grimoire before placing it back into her bag. She then quickly moved to the other girls before asking, "Is everything okay? What happened?"

Verosika frowned at the injured Jared. She spat out, "Someone doesn't know how to take no for an answer."

Millie pointed at a group of four more similar demons pushing through the group to get to the four of them. She said with a smile, "I guess it wouldn't be a real girls' night out without some action!"

With that, three of the four began to prepare for a fight on the dance floor. Loona stood in front of Octavia before turning around to look at her while baring her teeth, "Stay behind me. They aren't laying one fucking finger on you."

Octavia wasn't going to argue seeing as she had already done enough. She did her best to just clutch the bag in her hands to protect the most valuable item that she brought with her. The grimoire did come to mind for Loona. She was looking forward to a moment to practice some of the more combative magic she learned, but she knew this was a lousy place to try. That, and she didn't want to stand out like a sore thumb. Instead, she grabbed an available beer glass.

The first two were targets at Millie as she launched herself up in the air before coming down on the first one hard. The guy fell onto his back with a scream. Seeing as she was completely unarmed now, Millie made use of the little weapons she was born with. She punched the guy in the chest a few times to be rewarded with the sound of his ribs cracking from the impact. Her first then connected with his jaw to knock a few bloody teeth onto the floor.

The other demon came over and tried to stomp on the Imp while she was beating on his friend. Millie's eyes flicked backward and avoided his strike by jumping up into the air. He hit his already down friend causing him to let out a cry of pain right before Millie jumped on the guy to use her claws and teeth to finish him off.

The other two moved passed and focused their attention on Verosika and Loona. The first one approached Verosika with a furious face. In retaliation, she grabbed one of her heels to use as a weapon. If there is one thing she has learned about fighting recently, it is that almost anything can be a weapon. Loona with a beer bottle, and Millie with her bare hands. Verosika followed their model.

The male demon swung his fist a few times at Verosika as she took a few awkward steps back. When her opening presented itself. She swung her heel right at the guy's neck. The shoe pierced his skin without much issue. The Succubus was surprised by how sharp and effective her footwear was. She then stepped back only for a sloppy hook to miss her face. With one last swing of her shoe, Verosika successfully stabbed the shoe into the guy's eye. He roared out in pain before arching backward only to fall on the floor writhing in pain. She pulled her shoe free and cleaned any fluids that built up on it with the other demon's own clothes.

The last shark grabbed onto Loona to toss her out of the way. His eyes were set on the owl behind. Seems like he understood that she was the source of the portal injuring his other friend. Via took a few steps away from him as she clutched onto her back even more. There wasn't anywhere to go from this point.

Loona smashed the beer bottle against the shark's face as hard as she could. The glass shattered with a few of the shards imbedding into his skin. A few streaks of black blood began to drip from his wounds. Despite the hard strike, nothing more happened beyond the demon getting angrier.

Loona was successful in gaining his attention as pupils contracted while looking at her. He was the largest one in his group by far. He both towered over the Hellhound and outweighed her a good few times. He opened his maw to chomp down on Loona, but she had other plans. With the remaining portion of the bottle still in her grasp, she shoved it into his mouth without any warning. He immediately struggled from the pain, and that was before Loona ferociously punched him in the mouth causing the bottle to shatter. His struggle turned into choking. He began to cough blood and glass onto the floor.

Millie, covered in a bit of blood herself, came over to the group beaming. She sighed, "Well, that was fun!"

Verosika was about to reply, but then she noticed a few other figures employed by the club moving toward them. She said, "Looks like our night of fun here has come to an end. Come on. These guys are already screwed. We don't want to be caught like them."

The four girls began to move around the crowd in a way to avoid attention. With enough bodies between them and the employees, they had no trouble getting away. After a good minute, the four of them poured out of a side exit of the club. Once they were in the clear, the four of them were able to breathe a small sigh of relief.

Then, a small cascade of laughter came from Verosika. She said, "See, I told you that a fight always breaks out. That is just the first time I have been involved."

The light mood was infectious. Millie was the first one to join in on the laughing, and then a smile formed on Loona's face before she began to laugh as well. Finally, Octavia lightly smiled to herself. Despite their trip to the club being cut short, each of them found this night to hold more excitement than they initially thought it would.

Octavia commented, "This kind of thing is normal?"

Verosika nodded while folding her arms, "I would say so. Did you have fun back there?"

Via quietly said, "I don't know… I've never seen fighting like that before. I guess it was exciting."

Millie added, "Things were more than excitin' back there! I knew that something like this could be fun, I just didn't expect it to be that fun!"

Verosika probed the Imp with her suggestive tone, "Sounds like you had fun beyond just tearing into those assholes. I didn't think this kind of low-intensity activity would be your jam."

This was met with a shrug of Millie's shoulders, "Not everything has to be about killin'. I enjoy doing things with my husband, especially when he plays his guitar while he sings to me."

Verosika smirked, "An Imp with musical talent? Sounds like you have a keeper." A thought then entered her mind as she ushered everyone, "Come on. I know where we are going next."

Loona questioned, "We aren't done?"

A scoff escaped Verosika's lips, "Of course not! The night is so young, and there is still so much that we can do. Millie just gave me an idea of what we should do next." She grabbed Loona by the arm before saying, "We're going to a karaoke!"

While Millie clapped her hands at the idea, Loona shouted, "What?!"

Verosika replied, "Oh, don't be so dramatic. I've been wanting to hear that cute voice sing for a while. This is the perfect time to hear it!" She then looked over at the other two before asking, "What about you two? Does that sound like a good idea?"

Millie nodded, "I'm so game!"

Verosika looked at Via before specifically asking, "What about you, princess? You're off the hook for having to sing if that helps."

Octavia nodded, "Uhh, sure. It beats whatever I am going to do at home."

Seeing as she had the other two joining in, Verosika looked back to Loona with expectations. This was enough to sway the Hellhound, and she sighed before saying, "Fine. Gone this far, might as well continue."

Verosika smiled in victory before saying, "Come on, girls. We still have a night to enjoy."

The four of them left the club with greater excitement for what the night could bring. Things had certainly panned out in the direction that they had hoped. Millie was enjoying a greatly deserved night to herself all thanks to her husband, and Octavia got to experience what Hell had to offer without being shielded by her parents. Loona nor Verosika, neither of them entered the night with any real expectations. However, things for them seemed to be less scary and uncertain. They felt even closer than they had before. They could now both look into the future with a little more excitement and promise.

That's all I have to give! Another chapter out of the way. I hope that you all found some real enjoyment from the chapter. I was hoping that things would turn out differently, but I went through some rather quick writer's block only to arrive that Loona and Verosika need to have a candid conversation about Kyle (failing the Bechdel Test right there). Not exactly the most gripping drama out there, but it gets the job done. Looks like Vee gets the date she was wondering. I wonder what Loona will do to lessen the loss...

Speaking of the OC, I guess I sort of had him in the chapter way more than I anticipated. Just another one of those details I just couldn't write around. Sure, I could've just had Verosika mention a girls' night out at the beginning, but that felt too linear to me.

Anyways, you all should know what chapter comes next. Yep, that's right! Onto Ozzie's! A little bit of a date mixed in with some information gathering for Kyle. Should be fun, and that means that the Hellhound party with Loona and other guests comes right after. How will I get all of this to work? Guess you will just have to wait and see.

If you are enjoying the story, I implore you to support the story in any way you see fit. I very much enjoy hearing and seeing all that good stuff from you guys. I am always happy to answer questions as well. I usually work on the chapter when I am feeling motivated, so it is hard to know when it will release.

Now, if anyone is interested, I am going to leave the discord channel code available to any of you. I usually ask for small details, and some ideas are discussed with others on what I should do with the story. You can even just chat with others in it.
