It always bothered me that when Luke escapes the Wampa cave, he tries to make it back to Echo Base on foot. Why not just stay in the cave? It's shelter. This is what I think he should have done. Caution: The story gets a little graphic. Also, the story is not 40,000 words. It's just over 4,000. it's a computer error.
