Johnny's POV
I groaned internally as I made my way into homeroom, nothing like being the new kid. I slid into an empty seat, not missing the intense stares coming my way. I chose to ignore them, I wasn't here to make friends. I would probably cut out of this town by the time college lured around. The door softly opened, Johnny happened to look up in time to see an attractive blonde girl walk inside, she was careful to avoid making eye contact with anyone.
"Look everyone, Luser decided to show her face after all!" An Italian girl smirked, as the line of seats filled with whispers.
"It's kind of the law, so." The girl shrugged, clearly she didn't care what anyone thought of her, even though almost everyone here looked like they hated her guts.
"It must be so convenient that you could just abort your baby. Huh?" The thick Brooklyn accent was unmistakable.
"I had a miscarriage, thank you very much. It's true I was going to go through with it but, I realized it wouldn't be right. Not that it's anyone's business because it's literally my body but, yeah." The blonde girl sat in the seat beside him, clearly not noticing him until she audibly gasped upon seeing him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." I couldn't help but chuckle.
"No, it's completely okay. I didn't see you there. Are you new to Port Charles? I can't recall ever seeing you around." She glanced at him, red brushing over her cheeks in embarrassment.
"I could tell. Yeah, my family just moved here. Are you okay? I couldn't help but hear." I gestured to the other side of the classroom.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I mean I'm not but, it's okay. Well, hopefully I'll be seeing more of you." She gives him an easy smile.
"I understand that, you are the first person in this school that I've actually wanted to talk to. My name's Johnny, what's yours?" Johnny turned to face her, ignoring everyone else and focusing on her.
"That's new, usually people try to avoid me! My name's Lulu." Lulu couldn't wipe the smile from her face.
"I can't imagine why." Johnny said earning a laugh from Lulu.
"Because I'm not what people expect and that frightens them for some unknown reason. I have like, two friends...and there a couple. It gets kind of tiring being a third wheel." Lulu explained, this time earning a laugh from Johnny.
"That bitch over there that was running her mouth? That's Brooklyn, she sucks dick for crack. Brooklyn's family disowned her over some frivolous reason." Lulu waved a dismissive hand in the air as she pointed out the brunette.
"Well, that's something that I know now. I'll make sure to steer clear." Johnny nods. The bell rang and class started up so they couldn't really talk, the teacher made Johnny stand up and introduce himself to the class which was embarrassing on a whole other level. The bell rang signaling them to go to first period.
"Here's my number, I usually don't give my number out like that but...you're different. I don't really know what it is about you but, I'd really like to get to know you better." Lulu handed him a white piece of notebook paper which was folded in half.
"I...feel the same way. If I don't see you for the rest of the day, I will definitely text you." Johnny took the paper from her, putting it in his pocket.
"You better, I will not be made a fool of." Lulu smirked, before turning down the hallway. With a smirk, Johnny looked down at his paper schedule he'd gotten from the office.
"Computer science...yay." Johnny rolled his eyes, wondering where the computer lab was. Damn, if he would have thought about it he would have asked Lulu.
"You share the same sentiment I do." He heard an unmistakable Australian accent come from behind him, Johnny turned around to see a guy with a black ponytail, light brown eyes and a boyish smirk placed on his face.
"Math is okay but, why bring computers into it?* Johnny smirked, he had a feeling he could get along with this guy.
"Exactly. I'm Ethan, from what I gather you must be the new guy?" Ethan extended his hand out to Johnny.
"That would be me, I'm Johnny. You wouldn't happen to know Lulu, would you?" Johnny realized as he shook Ethan's hand that he had never gotten Lulu's last name.
"That's my sister, yeah." Ethan chuckled, knowingly.
"Oh, really?" Johnny asked, intrigued.
"Yeah, we're half siblings. I didn't know about our father until a year ago, I grew up in Australia. As if you couldn't tell." Ethan explained with a smirk. Ethan and Johnny got to class after a few more comments.
"I think I'm going to like it here." Johnny thought to himself as he takes a seat next to Ethan.
