DISCLAIMER: I DON'T own anything of Wayside. (Wish I did, the series would have gone on longer)

Author's Note: I'm a female, leave it at that.

"Hey Maurica," Todd states waving, heading over to where the roller skater sits on a log of the campsite of the 6st floor.

Her bright blue eyes glance at him. No words, no smile and no punching. She looks up at the surprisingly nighttime skit above their heads.

"Look, Jenny told me why your not feeling well." The redhead starts in chuckles remembering how the blonde daredevil practically ran him over with motorcycle.

"Sure, I'm not totally comfortable talking about this girl thing. But come on, Jenny throw this picnic basket at me. Let's eat."

The ponytailed dark blunette finally smiles. Taking the offered basket. "Thanks Todd. You sure, you're cool with missing class?"

"No problem." He dismisses her concerns. "Besides Mrs. Jewels is out today. So I won't be sent home early on the kindergarten bus."

They chuckle, sharing a ziplock baggie of red apple slices. Maurica squeaks at Jenny packing them creamy peanut butter.

"That's my extreme sister for you." Maurica eagerly dips an slice in the opened jar. Todd smiles at the girl that's grown very close to his heart, tho he won't admit it to her.

"Oh here, drink up." Todd places a plastic cup of apple juice in her left hand, with a tiny bottle of Midols for her inner pain.

The two 16 year olds just smile at one another. "Thanks Todd, you are still such a sweet guy." Instead of punching him, she leans over kissing his forehead.

THE END!
