It had been a few days since Seth and Venom had fought against Riser and Carnage, and Seth had recently been in his room, keeping to himself for a while. It had been worrying the other members of the ORC, mainly Issei and Rias.

It was decided that they should talk with Seth if there was something wrong with him. So, after school, Seth arrived at the ORC, and just kept to himself. Rias then had the other members, and announced, "Everyone, the reason you are here, is because of an intervention."

Rias then pointed to Seth, who jumped a bit, and closed up his wallet.

"Um, what's up?" he asked.

"Seth," said Issei, "You've been like this for days. Ever since Riser and Carnage, you've been keeping yourself locked up, not talking to anyone."

Seth scoffed, "PSSSSH, no I haven't!"

Akeno swiped Seth's wallet, making him panic. Akeno then looked at the pictures, and saw five teens, three boys and two girls. One girl had platinum blonde hair, a light blue blouse with a black jacket, the other had red shoulder length hair, a t shirt, and jeans.

The boy to the left had blonde hair, in a flat top, a green jacket, and a strong build. The boy to the right had glasses, and brown hair, and casual clothing, and the one in the middle of all of them looked like a younger version of Seth.

"Oh," said Akeno in a subductive voice, "Who's this hunky ma-"

She was cut off with a slap from a very pissed off Seth, and he yelled, "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THIS AGAIN, YOU BITCH!"

Seth then stormed to the door, only for it to get slammed shut by Venom, and be pulled back.

"VENOM! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!"

'NO! YOU NEED TO TELL THEM! THEY NEED TO KNOW!'

"Seth, who was on that picture?" asked Rias.

"My childhood friends, Peter Parker, Eddie Brock, Gwen Stacy, and Mary Jane! NOW LET ME GO VENOM!"

Venom only pulled up a chair, and grabbed onto it, with Seth struggling to get free.

"Hey, Hey!" said Issei, "We're here for you. Just tell us. We're your friends."

Seth looked at them, and he slowly stopped struggling, and sighed, "It happened during the beginning of High School, in New York."

I was new to town, and the only person that I knew was Peter. However, we both met Eddie, Gwen and Mary during our jobs at the Daily Bugle. After getting to know each other, we became close. Really good friends.

However, everything changed, when Peter got bitten by a radioactive spider. It wasn't even threatened or anything, just a little prick, and Peter shook off the spider. However, afterwards, he started acting a bit strange. He had gained the powers of a spider. He could climb walls, shoot webs from his hands, and even sense something coming towards him.

Because of this, he decided to use his powers to help those in need. He dubbed himself, Spider-Man. And he made a few enemies here and there. But one night, everything shattered the great friendship that was between me, and the others. A meteorite fell to Earth, and Peter went to inspect it, and he was clung onto by this strange black goop. It then made a black Spider-Man suit for Peter, and, well, it enhanced his strength, his speed, everything. But, it was also making him more aggressive.

Because of his new short fuse, he pushed everyone he cared for away. Even humiliated Brock, costing him his job. It was only with hitting Mary, that he realized what he had become. So, he ran off, and ripped off the suit. However, the suit was known as a Klyntar, or Symbiote, and it was alive. But, it needed a host.

And it found a host through Eddie Brock, who had lost everything because of Peter. The Symbiote fed off of Eddie's anger, and bonded with him, becoming, Venom.

"Wait," said Kiba, "Venom had two hosts before you?"

"Yeah," said Seth, a tear rolling down his cheek, thinking to his friends.

"And thus, Venom's quest for revenge started. And because Peter was Venom's previous host, Eddie knew all about Spider-Man, and even had a copy of his powers. I tried to talk to him, and I managed to get through to him, but he still held a grudge against Peter, and took off to San Fransisco, where he met a nice woman by the name of Anne who he eventually married.

"But, things just went down hill from there. Gwen Stacy, who Peter was dating at the time, was kidnapped by one of Spider-Man's enemies, known as Norman Osborn, or his alias, Green Goblin. Gwen was held over the edge of the Brooklyn Bridge, and when Peter came to save her, Norman dropped her from the top. Peter, in a panic, shot a web to catch her, but, it gave her whip-lash, and broke her neck.

"Gwen slowly died after that. Mary, Peter and I were devastated after that. Soon after, I was more silent. However, that made me vulnerable.

"One day, far past school years, Venom had a spawn known, as Carnage, who bonded with the serial killer Cletus Cassidy. Cletus was an almost unstoppable force of nature. Carnage had all the information that Venom had, only he had more powers, and was stronger. So, Spider-Man came to try and stop him, and Cletus was put away many times, only to escape. After a few months of this, Carnage had come to New York, and taken me, and Mary.

"Even though Eddie still had a grudge against Peter, the two put their differences aside, and worked together to take on Carnage. Mary escaped, while I just stood there, in fear. My friends fought bravely, but they didn't make it. Peter was eaten whole by Carnage, and Eddie, Venom was separated form him, and Carnage gutted him like a fish! HE MURDERED THEM BOTH, BEFORE MAKING THE WHOLE BUILDING FALL DOWN!

"I was in a coma for a few weeks. I only broke my arm, but Mary, she..."

Seth just looked down, and cried, "She had a whole level fall on her head, killing her instantly!"

Venom got some tissues, and Seth blew hard. The whole building, was quiet, in respect for those that were lost.

"After that, I was on my own. Never again, did I make friends. My boss Jonah was celebrating that Spider-Man was dead, because he thought he was a menace, and I lost all control, following a bloody beat up, and strangling that almost killed Jonah. I saved him the trouble, and quit. I... I've been on my own for a while, until, five months after that."

Seth was just in his home, when he sat down, looking at the picture of all his friends. He then looked at papers all around, showing Spider-Man, and all the accomplishments he did. Seth joined another new company, and had made a shame article, making Jonah's reputation plummet, and make him loose many employees. He didn't care if the Daily Bugle was going down, it only brought back painful memories.

However, there was a black blob going through the open window, as Seth just sighed. He didn't even notice it climb up his back, and enter him until he felt a tingling sensation.

"What the hell?"

'Seth.'

Seth jumped, and looked around. He looked around a bit, and in the mirror, he saw, Venom, looking right back at him.

"Oh, jeez, Seth, this... this isn't real! You're just imagining things! You... you got a... a... a parasite! That's it!"

"PARASITE!?"

Seth was pulled into the wall by a black substance, and held back. He looked to see his limbs were stuck.

"Oh jeez! What the hell is this!?"

'Not what, who.'

"Then WHO the hell is this!?"

A tendril come out like a stream, and Venom's face was on the end, and the Symbiote said, "I am Venom. And now, WE are one."

"N-No, NO! I saw what you did to Eddie! I am not doing this too!"

"I am the closest thing you have to being with Eddie again."

Seth plugged his ears, saying, "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA! DON'T CARE, CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Venom then surrounded himself around Seth, making the Venom suit.

"Not bad, right?"

'Okay, this is cool, BUT LET ME OUT, NOW!'

Venom then went out the window, and swung through like Spider-Man would. Seth was shocked at the view he was seeing. Venom then said, "Listen, Seth, you were not the only one who lost someone that night. Together, WE, could take down Carnage."

'And why the hell would I agree to that!?'

"Because, I can eat you if you'd rather. Deep down, you want to avenge your friends."

'SHUT UP! YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT ME!'

"Yes I do. I have seen your memories. I know everything about you. Plus, I made a promise to Eddie. To keep you safe if he ever died. You, the only one who stood by him during his hardship."

Seth was then shown the memories, the ones that brought joy, and happiness. The five being close, Seth making a joke with Eddie and Gwen when they were dating, gaming, going to scenes for reports, and so many other things.

"Do we have a deal?"

'Fine,' said Seth, 'but we need to lay down a few rules.'

Venom retracted, and Seth walked talking to Venom, "Rule one, you can not hurt anyone you please."

'I can not?'

"No, you can not. Rule two, you can only use the powers for good, not your own selfish intents, got it?"

'Fine.'

"Rule three, you can only, touch, harm, fight, and beat up only, very, very, very bad people."

'What about eating them?'

"EATING THEM!? What is wrong with you!?"

'I need the compound phenethylamine, which is found in the human brain.'

"Okay, how about this, one bad guy, a month. And then, chocolate. I've hear chocolate is a very good source of the phenthylameme."

'Phenethylamine. But can we get something to eat? Otherwise, your liver is starting to look really, really, good, and juicy!'

"How do you feel about pizza?"

'Fine by me! I LOVE pizza! Let's go!'

Seth head to a pizza joint, and there, Venom shared information with Seth, and the two became, the Lethal Protector.

Seth now had streaks down his face, and got up, leaving, saying, "I'm... sorry for slapping you Akeno."

Rias followed him, and said, "SETH! WAIT!"

Seth stopped, and looked at Rias.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you. I want you to know, we're here for you, no matter what."

Seth smiled, and said, "Thank you."

He then walked off, and Rias composed herself, before walking back inside. Seth arrived at his apartment, and sighed, looking at the ceiling. He knew Carnage had found him once more.

"What would Peter do?" he asked himself.
