Time for another chapter. I feel like this'll mostly be plot, no fights for now but I write as I go so maybe or maybe not. So now that we've got that done let's go. Awesome!

The Master Armor-

Chapter 1

Gwen, Dawn and the Book of Prophecy

Kenneth's POV:

*Code Lyoko Evolution Soundtrack: Arrival*

"Why does Dexter want us to visit, Gwen in the Pimpleback Mountains anyways?" Epic asks me from the back seat of the terramech as we drive into the Pimpleback Mountains. "I mean you'd think he'd be a little more grateful after the whole time travel thing?"

"I don't know." I answer my jester-esque friend from shotgun, not bothering to turn my head back to him. "But we've got to do it. Dexter sent us out and we have to follow orders."

"Well I think it's stupid." Epic insisted from the back left seat. "It's probably just Heather wanting us to come out here to prank Billy again."

"I don't think so." Liv answered from the wheel. "We're supposed to see Gwen and I'm pretty sure it's important."

"Well I don't know Liv." Ace answers from the seat behind me. "If you remember Dexter hates us and even after the time travel thing he wanted our heads on a silver platter. How do we know this isn't just some practical joke?"

"Because after the last one, Mandy threatened to remove him from the council." I laugh.

"I still think it's just Heather trying to prank us." Epic mutters under his breath.

"Well you'll be able to see that soon," Liv tells Epic. "Because we're here." Liv now parks the car besides the furthest most cabin and we all climb out.

*Fusionfall Soundtrack: Delightful Developments*

The Pimpleback Mountains are as they usually are; with its dark color scheme that makes me wonder if this place was meant to be in the dark lands; dull brown wooden cabins that Gwen, Heather and various plumbers are known to share; hollowed out trees that give me the creeps; and of course the quick glare from behind the rafters of the cabin Heather and Gwen share as soon as anyone enters. I definitely know I'm in the Pimpleback mountains.

The lanky Asian girl saunters out of the cabin as we approach it. Heather Chang with her usual frown glares at us. "There you four are! Do you know how long we've been waiting for you?"

"Well if it isn't Ms. Chang?" Epic asks sarcastically. "I knew there would be something pleasurable this morning. But I suppose I'll settle for you. How's your boyfriend?"

"Bite me Mansfield," She brushes him off. "Besides Alejandro is not my boyfriend."

Epic laughs. "The more you deny it-"

"We're sorry we're late, Heather." Liv answers, cutting off Epic.

"You should be!" Heather shouts. "Do you know how weird Gwen gets when little miss aura whisperer is around? I'd rather spend my time shoveling Rainicorn shit."

"Dawn's there?" Ace asks.

"Yeah and they've got that magic book with them too." Heather tells us. "Listen, I don't know what's so important that requires you four AND The Book of Prophecy. But whatever it is, it better be pretty damn serious to wake me this early."

"Come on guys." I command my three friends. "Let's go."

"Ahahah!" Heather shouts putting her hand in front of me. "Gwen says you guys can't go inside without me."

"Fine, let's go Heather." I say, not feeling like arguing with reality show contestant this early in the morning.

Heather leads us into the cabin where we find Gwen and Dawn sitting at a desk with their backs turned to us.

"Gwen!" Heather shouts. Both girls ignore us as it seems they're completely enveloped in whatever their looking at.

We walk over to them and see that Gwen has left hand hovering over the book, her right grasping Dawn's hand, with the letters glowing a bright pink. Gwen's eyes were glowing that same bright pink color her mouth slightly agape as she took in all the new information; whereas Dawn had both her eyes closed with a small smile gracing her lips.

"Maybe we should come back later…" Liv suggests.

"Oh please," Heather scoffs. "I did not wake up this early just to 'come back later.'"

"Come on, Heather." I try to convince the girl. "It's clear that they're both still trying to examine The Book of Prophecy."

"Yeah," Ace agrees. "Maybe we can just go outside and find some Fusions, we know how much you love to annoy Fuse and maybe this'll bring you up above Gwen in the leaderboards."

"You willingly want to go Fusion hunting with Heather?" Epic asks, clearly opposed to the idea. I don't blame him though, Heather isn't exactly my first choice to go Fusion hunting with.

"It's true, Gwenny does need to be taken down a peg or two." Heather commented clearly tempted by the idea.

"It doesn't matter." A calm voice says causing all of us to turn to see Gwen with her eyes open and turning away from the book, Dawn at her side. "Dawn and I are done."

"Great." Heather says. "Now what is it that you have these four here for?"

"Heather, this matter doesn't concern you." Dawn told the queen bee. "If you would kindly leave the cabin that would be appreciated."

"But Heather told us she had to be here for this." Liv asked confused.

"I didn't say that." Gwen says, clearly surprised.

"I know," Heather smirks. "I did."

"Well this is a little too important, Heather." Gwen says. "As much as I'd like to show you, you don't have the authorization to hear this or take part in this mission."

"Whatever." Heather scoffs. She then grabs a green blade, encrusted with four emeralds and embroidered with a golden design intertwining through around the emeralds, that was resting against the desk next to the opposite bed. "Gwenny needs to be brought down a peg or two and there are some bears outside that need to be declawled."

*Fusionfall Soundtrack: Woods*

Epic sighs once she's left the cabin. "Everything's always a competition with her."

"You can't blame her." Dawn chides. "Heather always feels threatened by those around her. She strives to be the best in order to feel better about herself."

"Why's that?" I ask.

"It has to do with her childhood, Kenneth. I won't say much more, it would displease her if I told you." Dawn answers.

"Okay then…" Ace drones on. "So what is it that you wanted us to come here for?"

"You four have been chosen by the Council of Ten to find the Master Armor." Gwen answered.

"The Master Armor?" Liv asks. "What's that."

Dawn then turns to The Book of Prophecy. She opens it and flips to a set page. "The Master Armor is ancient battle armor worn by a great hero called Dashi. With the Master Armor he could withstand many attacks and brave through the most dangerous of places."

Gwen nodded. "The Master Armor was kept secret for a long time, we hadn't even known about it until Dawn was able to decipher it from The Book of Prophecy."

"Why is it that certain people can find certain things in the book?" Ace asks.

"We're not quite sure." Gwen sadly replies.

"I think the book knows what certain parts of the prophecy are useful to certain readers." Dawn comments. "It also reacts to certain abilities, for example Chase Young was able to decipher parts of it due to his Heylin energy, whereas Gwen here was able to read parts of it due to her mana manipulation, also Grim being the Grim Reaper can read certain parts that others can't."

"So what makes you so special?" I ask.

"I believe it's my ability to read people's auras that enables me to read the book." The sweater clad aura whisperer replies.

"Man…" Epic comments. "Who wrote this thing?"

Gwen and Dawn look at each other before shrugging.

"Okay so tell us more about this Master Armor." Ace questions.

Dawn nods. "The Master Armor consists of the following seven pieces: boots, shin pads, breastplate, armguards, gloves, shoulder pads and of course a helmet. Each of these are hidden throughout the Wilds and the Darklands."

"And do these individual pieces have names?" I ask.

"I know for a fact the helmet does." Gwen answers. "But the rest we're unsure Dawn and I are still trying to decipher them."

"So what are we supposed to do now?" Epic asks.

"You're first mission will be to find the boots of speed hidden somewhere in Mount Blackhead." Gwen explains.

"It is in our best interest that you are accompanied by Zoey Gligora, Lazlo Aztechimp, Wallabee Beetles and Ulrich Stern." Dawn continues.

"Wait, why them?" I ask. "Surely the four of us will be able to find it on our own."

"Not to mention that they seem like an odd combination." Ace chimes in.

"I agree." Dawn answers. "But we were ordered that at least two escorts will accompany you."

"Why?" Liv asks.

"Dexter feels like you'll screw it up." Gwen answered. "He insists that you don't go it alone."

"Don't worry though." Dawn answers. "We convinced Dexter that I select your escorts, the book stated that these three will not break the Prophecy."

"I've already called them." Gwen says. "Leave the Terramech here and they'll meet you at the Kids Next Door Outpost in Mount Black Head."

"Why can't we take the terramech?" Liv asks, slight disappointment in his voice.

"It's best you go on foot." Dawn answered. "I will warn you. You should beware of my Fusion, I sense her trying to locate the Boots of Speed as well."

"Let's go then!" I shout. "There's no time to lose."

"Good luck." Gwen says.

"They won't need it." Dawn smiles. "They should be just fine."

We walk out of the door to see Heather yelling at one of the plumbers there in The Pimpleback Mountains, threateningly holding her sword towards his throat. Damn, why hasn't she been removed or at least demoted? I think for a quick second before turning to the others.

"Alright guys, we've got some boots to find." I say to the others who nod in agreement as we head out for Mount Blackhead.

Another chapter done. So next chapter we'll be seeing Ulrich, Lazlo, Numbuh 4 and Zoey. They are all there for the following reasons. Ulrich didn't get his time to shine in Return to The Past Now Part 2 due to the broken leg, since he's in the area I added him. Lazlo needs screen time or word time or word count or whatever in my Fusionfall stories so I needed him. Numbuh 4 was there to have someone who was originally in Fusionfall rather than all new characters. Zoey I had mentioned in my list would help with this so I kinda had to put her in. So those are your reasons for everyone and I think I'm gonna get to the chapter of the Cartoon Continuum before moving on to the next one. I'm not sure if I should do Kenneth again next time or someone else… Decisions… Decisions… What do you guys think?

Oh and if you're wondering the reason I added "Code Lyoko Evolution: Arrival" is because it's a part of my Fusionfall Soundtrack for Lyoko in the Training stage of the game. The reason I had chosen that for Lyoko is because it sounds more Fusionfally than the shows entire soundtrack and it was that easy. For that scene I felt it fit with the terramech and it wasn't too techy for the Wilds. So that was the point of that.
