So time for another chapter of the Master Armor stuff. We're going out to find the boots of haste with Zoey, Numbuh 4, Lazlo and Ulrich. I'm liking Epic's POV as of recent so I guess I'm doing that. Plus Numbuh 4 and Lazlo know Epic due to his time in Camp Kidney and stuff.
I know they were originally the boots of speed but boots of haste has a better ring to it. I'm getting a kick out of doing Epic's POV as of recent.
The Mastor Armor
Chapter 3:
Quickly find the Boots of Haste
Epic's POV:
"Come on Ace, Heather isn't that bad…"Ace insisted.
I laugh. "Yeah, she is Ace. Whenever I see her it's like looking into the eyes of Fuse himself."
"Kinda harsh." Liv commented.
"Okay it's not that bad…" I sigh. "But still anytime I see her it instantly puts me in a bad mood. "
"You know at some point we're going to have to work with her." Kenneth told him. "You should probably bury the hatchet before then."
Ace nodded. "We wouldn't want another mission to be ruined by you two fighting."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." I insist.
Liv shakes his head. "Oh yes you do."
I sigh. That one time could've been handled a little bit better.
*Flash back*
The Crystalline Caverns, Several Weeks ago
Odd's Fusion Lair was interesting. It was made up like the mountain sector of Lyoko having it's purple rock walls and bonsai trees around every once in a while. It would've been peacefully it weren't for Heather and I yelling at each other; Liv, Kenneth and Ace trying to tend to their cat scratches and laser arrow scorch marks; and a Fusion just standing, there watching confused.
"Will you be quiet! We're trying to stop Fusion Odd here!" Heather shouted.
I scoffed. "Well, maybe I would if you wouldn't be bitching over every little thing Heather!"
"And you haven't been?" The queen bee asked me.
"At least I know when to stop." I insist.
Heather rolled her eyes. "Why stop when it annoys you?"
"And that is your problem Heather!" I shouted at her. "What did I ever do to you?"
"I could ask you the same question." The queen bee smirked.
Fusion Odd came up to us. "Um… are we going to continue our battle or shall I just make a strategic retreat?"
"You be quiet!" We both shout sending our individual blades at the Fusion.
Fusion Odd yelped but was quickly able to call upon a power with a slight shriek and his arms crossed. "Shield!" And with that a green barrier of pure energy appeared over his crossed arms.
The shield broke upon the hard thrusts of both our swords but that was enough for the Feline Fusion to get away.
"Oh look you missed! Nice aim Mansfield!" Heather shouted.
I scoff. "Look who's talking. You missed by a mile Ms. Chang."
Fusion Odd just watched the two of us arguing and shrugged. "Perhaps I should make that retreat."
And with that the Fusion went to the Fusion Portal.
"Laser Arrow!" He shouted, sending a stream of green arrows at Heather and I before leaving.
The arrows made their mark and we were both left pulling out healing nanos, while still yelling at each other.
*End Flashback*
Yeah, I know that probably could've been handled better.
Finally we make our way into the Jungle Outpost.
"I just think that you and Heather need to bury the hatchet." Liv says bringing me out of my daze.
I laugh. "When Heather learns to be nice then maybe I will."
"Epic, Heather can't be nice." Ace explains. "Most of us just deal with it."
"Besides, you never have the same problems with Mandy or Alejandro." Kenneth insists.
"Yeah!" An energetic voice says from behind us. "You should be happy with everyone like me!"
We turn to see the tall anthropomorphic Brazilian Monkey jumping in front of us, his emerald green eyes humping with excitement along with him. He wears a button down khaki shirt with two breast pockets and black slacks that compliment his light brown –almost orange- fur. To add to the outfit he also had a cherry red ascot tied around his neck and a scout's hat on top of his head. To top it all off he didn't wear any shoes.
"See, Lazlo's right." Liv agreed. "You should just be happy with Heather."
"I don't know…" A voice timidly commented. "Alejandro, Heather and Mandy are all really mean. I don't generally like to talk to them."
We then turned away from the chimp to see the new girl approaching us. She had her red hair tied back into two twin pig tails and a flower in her hair. Her soft chocolate brown eyes and red lipstick also seemed to compliment the red sleeveless shirt and the brown pants that she was wearing. The only rather intimidating thing about her was the war paint that was streaked across her cheeks and of course the giant riffle strapped against her back.
"Oh come on, Zoey…" Lazlo insisted. "They're not that bad!"
"Well if you say so…" Zoey shrugged.
There was a laugh as another new face joined us. The person chuckled. "You're kidding, Heather is an incredible pain and I hate doing anything with her."
The person who said that had his chestnut brown hair swooped to the side of his head so that it was able to keep his pale yellow headband in place. His coffee colored eyes seemed to scream determination; as if there was no way he could lose. He wore a skin tight body suit that was mostly a yellow color complete with various shades of brown. Not only that but he wore a simple green belt that hung off lazily to his side and brown arm guards and two straps around his left leg and of course the black backpack that held his twin blades.
"Thank you Ulrich," I praise the boy. "Someone who understands!"
Ulrich nodded. "Heather's just a pain in the ass, I hate it when she comes over to annoy Odd and I."
"A fate worse than death…" I shudder.
Ulrich and I laugh at this.
"Alright enough of that ankle biters!" A familiar Australian accent commands. "Enough chit chat we got ourselves some boots to find!"
We turned to see the Aussie with blond hair covering his eyes. He wears his usual orange sweatshirt and blue jeans. Along with that he had his blue jeans and sneakers.
"He's right," Ace nodded. "We should get on with the task."
Kenneth agreed. "Every second we waste talking is a second longer that Fusion Dawn could take the boots and then we're all in hot water."
And with that we're off. We journey through the Wilds.
"So where exactly are we supposed to know where this thing is?" Ulrich asked.
Ace shrugged. "Dawn told us that the prophecy states that the boots are somewhere in Mount Blackhead."
Numbuh 4 grumbled. "I don't like the idea of something so powerful so close to the outpost."
"Worried about Kuki?" Kenneth asked.
"Of course not," Wallaby huffed. "I'm just worried about all the young operatives that are stationed there. What if one of those nasty Fusions come out for it."
"Let's move guys, we need to find the boots." Kenneth says. "The only question is how we're going to find it."
"Maybe the best way to start would be by following Dawn's Fusion over there." Zoey said pointing to the Fusion girl with several forest themed monsters following after her.
"I don't know," Numbuh 4 shrugged. "I don't know about the rest of you but I'm not exactly stealthy."
"Same." Ulrich and Lazlo agreed.
"Just keep quiet." Kenneth said. "Following the Fusion shouldn't be that much of a problem."
And that's how we ended up following Fusion Dawn. Lazlo and Numbuh 4 constantly made complaints about how boring this mission is while the rest of us shushed them.
Frankly, I agreed, it was boring, but I couldn't tell them that.
Fusion Dawn finally stopped dead in her tracks.
"You can come out now." She says.
Each of us emerge from the bushes and we look into the smoldering eyes of the Fusion girl. Her skin is made up of the oozing, bubble green substance. What are usually Dawn's long and silky locks are now just long strands of hair matted with Fusion Matter. She wears the same green sweatshirt, and black skirt as Dawn only they're torn and tattered in several places and her leggings are a red color instead.
"Alright, you've got us Fusion Dawn." Kenneth says.
"Perhaps you humans should leave before something happens to you." Fusion Dawn suggests. "What a shame it would be if you got hurt."
"Cruddy Fusion, you don't scare me." Numbuh 4 clenched his fists

And I guess that's where I stopped
