Familiar and Friends

Iruma found himself in a field, accompanying his father. Both were on different horses; Iruma's was a blue one with matching flames, while Hades rode a white horse with purple flames.

"You know, I heard you defeated a descendant of Asmodeus, and that inspired me to revive the ancient initiation rites of the Greek demigods," Hades spoke with a voice that sent a chill down Iruma's spine. "So, for that reason, we find ourselves here."

Hades said, coming to a halt near a cliff and directing Iruma's gaze towards a massive nine-headed, serpent-bodied beast.

"So, why not try your luck with this little hydra?" Hades said, pointing to the enormous creature that stared at Iruma as a dog would at a delicious and tender steak.

"Definitely not!" Iruma exclaimed, realizing he was no longer in the field but in a huge bed. Looking out the window, he saw a purple sky.

"Oh, it was just a dream..." Iruma sighed. The door burst open, and Sullyvan entered with a red-haired servant, the same one who was with him when they first met in Kyoto.

"Let's have breakfast together; even your father is waiting for you at the table," Sullyvan said with a broad smile as a group of maids appeared to help Iruma get dressed.

Iruma wasn't used to so much attention, but even if he requested some space to dress, an army of maids awaited outside the bathroom to guide him to the grand dining hall.

Uncomfortable, he left the bathroom in his school uniform, accompanied by the maids to the dining hall. Adding to the awkwardness, guards kneeled along his path to the grand hall. Opening the door, Iruma saw a vast dining hall not empty as he expected; several figures were already seated. He was guided to a silver chair on the right side of Hades's golden throne, Hades sitting in human form and smiling at Iruma as he took his seat, drawing all eyes at the table towards him.

"So, this is the prince. I imagined him taller or more robust like the offspring of Rayito or Marino," spoke a beautiful, youthful-looking woman with long black hair, seated near Hades' golden throne, indicating her importance.

"Calm down, Nyx, we're in the presence of the king's delegation, and the young prince might get nervous," admonished a handsome young man with short black hair and a more serious look, seated in front of Nyx, indicating their equal status.

"You're no fun sometimes, Erebus. One wonders where Than pulled you from, and it was a simple question. I don't think there should be much of a problem," Nyx responded, cheeks puffed.

"Lady Nyx, I don't think it's a good time to ask such questions just as the prince has sat down and hasn't settled into his new experience," Sullyvan spoke while taking a seat next to Iruma, one seat above where Hades was seated.

"It seems Sullyvan is enjoying being a 'Grandpa' and is being overly protective," said a skeletal figure with a clown mask in a cheerful tone, seated a seat behind Erebus.

"That's right, Pluton. I even have great photos from the inauguration in Babylus and his incredible performance on that day. Even as a great Greek hero, he managed to defeat one of Asmodeus's descendants," Sullyvan responded, showing a plethora of photos that piqued the curiosity of those nearby and embarrassed Iruma.

"I've heard of that boy; they say he's another demonic genius and a hope for a large part of the conservative demon society. Being defeated by our prince is a great status for him," a voice came from a young girl with blue hair and a small stature, seated behind Nyx, seemingly wearing a chair that was too big for her, but no one dared to point it out due to her powers.

"You said it, Hecate. Even those two idiots haven't stopped messaging me, claiming they don't believe it. And the seaweed head has been staunchly defending that idiot Theseus, saying the Minotaur was a better feat than a demon king boy. Oh, how I've been enjoying it," Hades replied with a big smile that seemed to light up the dining hall, but for Iruma, so much praise made him nervous.

"Oh, I'm standing out too much," Iruma thought, sitting nervously in his chair. Fortunately, he was noticed by a skeletal figure wearing a mask reminiscent of the seriousness in Greek theater.

"Cough cough, I think we're making the young prince uncomfortable. If we spoil him too much, he might turn out like the gods Hermes or Apollo from Lord Zeus," the skeletal figure named Orcus spoke, drawing the table's attention.

"He's right, Orcus, but a little celebration won't hurt anything. And to commemorate the prince's good deed on the first official day of school, we've prepared gifts," Sullyvan said, applauding, and the red-haired servant, whom Iruma remembered as Opera, began bringing a massive amount of gifts like school supplies and clothing.

"Look, Iruma, we've prepared the best and highest quality, and some, with Opera and Hades, we cooked personally for you, even with our lack of experience," Sullyvan proudly announced while Opera and Hades beamed, the latter hiding some small burn marks he had acquired during the cooking.

Faced with such a display of love, Iruma couldn't say anything, weak against the genuine feelings of affection shown to him. Iruma dedicated himself to eating, surprising everyone at the table as the dishes came and went before his voracious appetite.

"Whoa, even Typhon doesn't eat this much! This kid will truly be a monster when he grows up," Nyx said, surprised by the enormous amount Iruma was devouring. Hades smiled, recording the scene to boast to Zeus about his children's hearty appetites.

With breakfast finished and farewells exchanged at the table, Iruma was led to a carriage that would take him to school. Satisfied with the massive meal, Iruma enjoyed the scenery before him, marveling at how the underworld wasn't a barren land but an entirely new and fantastical world.

Soon, he arrived at his school, Babylus, one of the three great elite academies, as Opera, accompanying him in the carriage, explained. Babylus was the only academy that welcomed students from all social ranks due to the contributions of its major benefactors—his father, Hades. Consequently, Babylus was the only school permitted to teach and form teams for the fabulous sport born in the underworld: the Rating Game.

The term stuck in Iruma's mind, and he wondered why Babylus was the only academy with students from various social statuses allowed to participate in and form teams for this sport. However, this question quickly faded as he saw the entrance of the academy, and the carriage door opened to let him step out. Not alone for long, as a white blur approached at high speed.

"Good morning, Mr. Iruma! Your presence has just illuminated and made this first day of official classes even more magnificent," replied the white blur, who turned out to be none other than Alice Asmodeus, kneeling down with loyalty, the same demon who, before being defeated, wanted to roast him alive.

"Oh, hi, Asmodeus," Iruma nervously responded to the man who, before, wished to inflict harm upon him.

"Just call me Azz please allow this humble demon to carry and handle your belongings," Alice responded, his eyes shining as if Iruma's things were sacred treasures.

"Please wait; people are watching," Iruma said, feeling uncomfortable under the gaze of other students who were beginning to understand his title as a God.

"(Don't look at me like that; I'm not a God, but a simple demigod. I believe I have more humanity than divinity)," Iruma thought nervously, feeling that his divine power inexplicably increased.

"Oh, I almost forgot, Mr. Iruma, how are you feeling about Babylus's first major trial—the Familiar Summoning."

"Familiar summoning?"

"Yes, it's a traditional event at Babylus. Through this event, the teachers aim to determine the students' ranks and abilities based on the familiar they manage to summon. A powerful familiar increases the chances of promotion and grants a certain status. Babylus is one of the few schools permitted to use this method of familiar summoning. The other way is to explore the Familiar Forest with an expert to obtain your own familiar."

With Alice's words, Iruma became nervous, imagining himself in a dangerous forest, ending up devoured by the hydra he saw in the morning nightmare. Erasing that dreadful image from his mind, he accompanied Alice to the hall prepared for the summoning.

The hall was as large as the room where Iruma had breakfast, making him feel that his father's presence permeated this castle. As he walked, he was so nervous that he didn't notice Alice clearing the path for him.

"I feel so nervous," Iruma said, trying to strike up a conversation with Alice.

"Don't worry, Mr. Iruma. You'll do well, and together with me, we'll be placed in the best class. This event also determines in which classrooms students will be, regardless of their race or gender," Alice said while looking towards the door. "I also received information that the teacher in charge of this trial is a famous and powerful professor who will recognize your value immediately, Mr. Iruma."

As they conversed, the door suddenly swung open, and a powerful aura, reminiscent of Iruma's during the inauguration speech, emanated from a tall man with black hair and a front fringe that revealed a face akin to an angry dog. Despite his fierce expression, an attractive yet intimidating visage could be seen in the professor.

"Silence! My name is Kalego Naberius, and I am the professor in charge of today's trial," spoke the man identified as Kalego, filling the room with murmurs that reminded Iruma of the same when Alice Asmodeus addressed the stage.

"Naberius Kalego? One of the 4 stars of the underworld who easily could be or could have been a Maou."

"The Bloody Servant, the Atrocious Strategist, the White Gargoyle, and now before my eyes, the Infernal Hound. Oh, how happy I am to join Babylus."

"It's said he repelled the very wrath of God before the underworld's pacification led by Lord Hades, Lord Seth, Lord Enma, and Lord Mictlan."

The words sounded like a mix of admiration and terror from the students towards such a legendary figure.

"The school and underworld authorities always trust me for these kinds of events. And you know why? It's not just because of my power but also because of my respected discipline, even endorsed by Lord Enma and Lord Seth," spoke Kalego as he addressed the audience. "Therefore, I am the most qualified to judge whether you're trash or if I can recycle that trash."

"And to give you an example," said Kalego as he walked towards Iruma, "I can even judge little gods who rely on their connections and dare disturb the peace, especially when they are the kind of brats who showcase their valor in battle."

"I wouldn't mind expelling them, even if their parents are great figures in underworld society. Trash can come from even the most respected establishments," Kalego said as he focused his aura and power on Iruma. Suddenly, he turned around and continued speaking, "This is a warning to all that if I find anyone incompetent, I'll expel them myself, regardless of their lineage or history. You were chosen for your talent, not your connections."

"But..."

"Silence!"

Kalego pronounced with his powerful aura, silencing and terrorizing the students with his incredible power, which was frightening even for a demon.

"Now, I will begin the initial explanation of how you should summon familiars," said Kalego as he summoned a magical guide that opened and began displaying a hologram with beautiful figures, illustrating the steps to follow, accompanied by a pleasant voice.

"Draw a circle on a parchment with your blood."

"Step inside the magic circle."

"Take the parchment to the flame at the center of the circle."

"A familiar will appear from the smoke generated at the summoning center."

"Stupid guide," suddenly, Kalego struck the guide, making it clear to everyone that he disliked pretty or bothersome things. "Well, whatever. I've already drawn my demonic familiar symbol on this parchment."

"And if we find any abnormalities, we'll attack immediately," Kalego said, glancing at Iruma, making him even more nervous.

"Professor, are familiars dangerous?" a student asked, raising their hand.

"Only if you try to obtain one from the Familiar Forest without proper preparation. But in this school, we have safety measures to ensure familiars play their role as servants who always serve the summoners. In case a familiar tries to harm its summoner, they would receive punishment equivalent to their misdeeds. So, pay attention to my words," Kalego said, elevating his aura and causing part of the guide to explode.

"That includes even unruly students, so everyone, line up and be quiet," Kalego shouted.

"What's wrong with that professor, Mr. Iruma? It's like he wants to fight against us," a student asked.

"It must be because I made a bad impression during the entrance ceremony," Iruma said, not realizing he was speaking his thoughts out loud. "Maybe I should behave to avoid angering him further."

Iruma's words were misunderstood by Alice. "Oh, as expected from Mr. Iruma. Does he want us to kick his ass to teach him his place?" Alice said with a huge grin, while Iruma, upon hearing it, tried to deny it with hand gestures as Kalego yelled at them to get in line.

With the initial presentation and the fear Kalego instilled, the summonings went quite well, and students of different races began interacting with their familiars, quite happy.

Among the familiars that stood out was the one Alice had summoned—a massive serpent with a fiery tail and a terrifying appearance that frightened nearby familiars.

"Wow, what an incredible and enormous familiar! You're truly amazing, Azu," Iruma said, marveling at the huge snake.

"I am flattered by your compliment. I hope my humble familiar can be worthy of standing beside the familiar Mr. Iruma will summon," said Alice Asmodeus with devotion, stroking her familiar with a watchful eye.

"(Gorgon Serpent, the legendary creature that once served Lord Asmodeus in the chronicles and would witness again in his capable descendant. It seems all the praise from the conservatives seems to be valid. It's more surprising that he lost to that brat.)" Kalego thought as he looked in Iruma's direction.

"(He may be a son of Hades, explaining his victory, but it came out of nowhere, making it suspicious. And Lord Hades is still a Greek god. They can be cruel beings who enjoy the suffering of those they deem inferior. So, I will judge whether this is a trick of the gods or not.)" Kalego continued staring at Iruma, who nervously entered the summoning center.

All eyes were on Iruma, and students had high expectations for what kind of familiar a god would reveal.

"(Damn, I still can't control my divine power or magic. How am I going to channel power into this paper to summon a familiar?)" Iruma worried. "(And as that teacher said, if I don't summon anything or make a mess, I'll be expelled from school.)"

Then, at that moment, something struck Iruma's psyche.

"(Wait, expelled from school?) That idea came to Iruma's mind. "(Right! I shouldn't be happy about being expelled from school. That would give me more time to adapt to this world. It's a win-win.)"

Iruma thought, relaxing and bringing a relieved smile to his face, which did not sit well with Kalego because it brought back memories.

"(The way he smiles is just like that old man's. He must have been secretly raised by that old man, explaining his annoying personalities. Noisy, undisciplined, and does whatever he wants. He's just like the stupid director and our Maou Lucifer. I still have nightmares about his midlife crisis.)" Kalego thought with discomfort in his psyche. "(He does whatever he wants and takes advantage of his immense power or influence, especially that stupid director. Since I've been under his command, he's treated me as he pleases, even reducing my salary. Not only that, he disrespects schedules and leaves everything in disarray, the schedule I planned so carefully.)"

"(But now, I'm in charge of this event. It's time for them to get a taste of their own medicine. And if the smallest mistake occurs, you're out of this school. I don't care if it leads to me being killed by Lord Hades.)" Kalego thought as a headache struck him, looking at Iruma preparing the spell. "(If you had been raised by your father, you would have been luckier. But blame the old man for your failure.)"

Unknowingly, Iruma and Kalego, as if tied by fate, had the same kind of thoughts, and this summoning ritual would solidify that destiny.

Since the summoning spells used for this test were not created by the underworld beings but by a human, the legendary King Solomon, blessed with divine favor as if he were a biblical demigod, these spells served as a testament to his pact with the demons. Not just any demons, but the most powerful ones belonging to the 72 houses.

Now, in this sanctuary, a legendary event was about to be replicated. The seal used for summoning had the emblem of one of these 72 houses, the Naberius house. A representative of this house was undergoing the test, while the seal interacted with Iruma's basic and uncontrollable divine power. Suddenly, a massive explosion of smoke appeared before everyone's eyes, and a figure began to materialize.

"I-I did it! Is this my familiar...!"

Iruma couldn't finish his sentence because, where his familiar should have been, the upper part of his teacher's body appeared, and a silence engulfed the entire place as familiar (Kalego) and summoner (Iruma) stared at each other, utterly baffled.

Both Iruma and Kalego looked toward where their bodies should be, and they saw a seal surrounding the lower half of Iruma's body. They then looked down at the seal beneath their feet.

"But what the hell, what have you done to my body, you cursed brat!" Kalego shouted at Iruma.

"I actually don't know..."

"Forget it. Complete your summoning ritual quickly."

"Yes!"

"AHHHHHH, do you want to break my body? Don't you understand, you stupid brat, that in this situation, you should push the body upwards, not downwards as you were doing?"

"I'm sorry, I'll push it upward right away."

But Kalego couldn't finish his sentence as he felt himself being thrust forward, completing the summoning. Another explosion followed, and when the smoke cleared, a bird-like figure, fluffy and with a somewhat cute expression, appeared.

Another silence followed, and Kalego began to inspect his new body. Then, another silence ensued as Kalego's floating body fell to the ground in a completely lifeless position.

"Professor, are you okay? What happened to your body?" a concerned student asked the adorable form of their fallen teacher.

"Damn it, this is..."

"Iruma..." Alice spoke as she entered the summoning center, and Iruma quickly spoke up.

"Azu, please help me..." Iruma tried to continue speaking, but the tears streaming down Alice's face silenced them. These were not tears of sadness but complete admiration.

"I feel great admiration for your courage and valor!" Alice said with tears in her eyes and a smile, as if she had witnessed a miracle while Iruma remained in shock. "One of the most powerful demons in the underworld who rejected the Maou position was nothing compared to your greatness. Your defiant words were taken to heart, managing to turn the mighty demon Naberius Kalego into nothing more than the familiar he is now."

Alice's words deeply resonated with all the students who were dumbfounded by what had just occurred.

"The infernal dog who defeated the lightning of God was unable to resist bowing before the son of Hades. We are witnessing a new divine monster."

"The man who rejected becoming the queen of Leviathan is now bowing to the son of Lord Hades. Does he want to make a name for himself unrelated to his father?"

"It was an accident, I didn't do it intentionally," Iruma tried to calm the situation while rumors began to circulate among the students.

Meanwhile, Kalego began to rise.

"(No way... I will become... your familiar)," Kalego thought angrily as he started to stand up. "(Never, don't joke with me, insolent divine brat. Cancel the damn contract now, or else AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.)"

It was Kalego's scream of pain from receiving the punishment given to familiars that tried to harm their summoners. Due to his immense negative emotions, it was a tremendous punishment, while in the background, Iruma's worried scream could be heard.

.

.

"Oh, you made your familiar a powerful demon like the little Kalego. This is incredible! Let me call your father to share the great news," said Sullyvan, quite delighted.

"This is not a time to celebrate. I can't be a familiar, and I demand that this contract be canceled!" Kalego shouted, controlling himself so that the effects of the punishment wouldn't affect him again.

"Cancel? That's impossible because the forces that move these contracts are only possible for great Gods, and even then, it should take at least a year. That's the immense quality of the seals created by the king blessed by the Supreme God," said Sullyvan, still quite satisfied with the result. "And if we force it, little Kalego, you could die. That wouldn't please a certain queen, and it could provoke a war between mythologies. Nobody wants that, right, Kalego?"

With such arguments, Kalego accepted his situation, but due to the shock, he caught a demon flu and couldn't get out of bed for days. Those who visited him heard him muttering the word "familiar."

Iruma's test couldn't be graded due to the irregularity of the familiar and its immense strength. Because of this situation, a rumor spread that Iruma was a predator with the demeanor of prey, causing more fear among students who would avoid him as he passed by. It is said that upon learning of this news, some underworld leaders couldn't help but smile, and a certain leader grumbled with envy at the turn of events. But that's a story for another occasion

"Pew, Pew, Pew, Go, Go, GO... who am I going to play with today?" — the voice of a sweet girl with green hair and horns echoed as she began rolling through the school without warning.

Not far from the direction of that commotion, Iruma and Alice had gathered to go over their main study materials: magic books, supernatural creature control, flying skills, supernatural chemistry and physics, underworld history, and physical education.

"These are incredible subjects, as expected from an elite school funded by your grandiose Father, Iruma," Alice said with joy, leaving out the "Lord" as per Iruma's request, which he found uncomfortable. However, Alice took it as a sign of trust and closeness.

"Yes..." Iruma mumbled while looking at the subjects for the semester, feeling an immense fear at not understanding anything they were going to study. He didn't even have wings to fly.

As they were approaching their destination, they heard a female scream, and in front of them, at great speed, a strange green thing rolled until it collided with a stack of boxes.

Without a chance to react, Iruma and Alice watched as the green thing emerged from the boxes, revealing a feminine figure.

"Strike!" the girl shouted, coming out of the boxes. "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha."

"A girl?" Iruma said as he approached to help. "Are you okay?"

"You can't, Iruma! You can't talk to her..." Alice tried to warn, but Clara Valac's starry-eyed and animated gaze hit Iruma directly in the face.

"I am Clara! My right foot's name is Connor, and my left foot's name is Murph! Sorry if I'm intrusive. I came here for my materials too, got distracted, and felt like rolling, so I crashed! Wasn't it great?! Hey, do you want to collect things with me and make explosions? It's fun, and to motivate you, take a gummy bear! I can do it again if you want!"

Clara continued speaking rapidly while one of the attendants asked her to get out of the boxes and help organize them. Clara complied with a smile, and during this time, Alice approached Iruma to speak to him.

"She's Clara Valac, from a powerful family that is related to one of the Maous. However, she's completely insane, and most people avoid her. I even heard she made her fiancé break off their engagement on his own," Alice whispered to Iruma. "It would be best not to get too close to her; her madness might rub off on us."

"I understand..." Iruma said, looking back at his surroundings. "So, how did we end up in this situation?"

Iruma spoke as Clara Valac played in the grass, and Alice sighed in response.

"There's no remedy, Iruma. We've been thrown into her madness... It's really contagious," Alice said, putting a hand on her face to comprehend the situation.

"Iruma-chi and Azu-Azu, let's play!" Clara said innocently, ignoring the situation, and began pulling various items out of her pockets. "Look at all the things I have, from fighting games to playing house."

"Iruma, let's run now..."

"But..."

"Decided! We'll play house!" Clara declared and looked at Iruma while flashing her most charming gaze. "Iruma-chi, please be my pet dog."

And before Alice could object, Iruma was already sitting down and started barking.

"Azu-Azu, you'll be the husband and also the unfaithful neighbor."

"But what the hell are you saying? How can Iruma just be the pet dog?"

"Let's play, Azu!"

Iruma responded resignedly, and quickly Alice put on the role Clara handed her.

"I want a damn divorce, you cursed bitch!"

Alice shouted before swiftly moving to dodge Clara, who had thrown an axe at her, splitting part of the ground with its incredible force.

"What the hell did you just do, damn green beast?!"

"Our battle scene! Come, Iruma, join us!"

With that said, an endless and immense amount of games began, testing Iruma and Alice's endurance and patience. It was all decorated with Clara's innocent and beautiful laughter.

This went on for two hours, and Iruma and Alice, with their incredible and natural magical abilities, were completely defeated.

"No more..." Iruma exclaimed, exhausted, while Clara approached. With a swift motion, she pulled a cold drink and food from one of her pockets and handed them to Iruma and Alice.

"Oh, thanks..." Iruma said as he took the items, and a curiosity appeared on his face. "Where did this come from?"

"This! This is the ability of my magical lineage! I can create anything I've seen before or haven't seen!" Clara said happily. "Oh, that's great..." Iruma mumbled, and a sound was heard in the background as a group of young people of different races appeared.

"It's Clarin!" said one of the youths who seemed to be a fallen lineage judging by his black wings. "Did you find another owner?"

"Well, it doesn't matter because you won't play with me anyway. Why don't you make some drinks for me and my friends?" the fallen angel said, raising his hand and receiving a large bottle of cola.

"Great, well, see you... Goodbye," said the fallen angel as he left, and Clara bid them farewell. However, as Iruma observed them leaving, he felt that they exchanged malicious glances, which he didn't like at all.

"Right now..."

"If I give them something, they'll play with me eventually!" Clara said with a happy smile, turning to Iruma. "But I'm so happy. You two are the first ones who really want to play with me, right? Wasn't it fun?"

Iruma noticed a sad expression on Clara's face as she spoke the last words, and in response, he smiled and replied,

"Of course!"

"No, Iruma, we must run before we continue feeding the monster," Alice spoke, coming back to life, and this brought joy to Clara.

"Yes, azu-azu revived... let's play again."

"Let's stop for today; we need to rest..." Iruma quickly responded, and that was enough for Clara to say cheerful goodbyes to the boys.

Several days passed before the trio selected their courses, playing various games. When Iruma returned home, he looked tired, but Hades allowed it because he saw a genuine and hearty laugh on Iruma's face.

The same was the case in Alice and Clara's houses, the latter being news that pleased a certain demon king before he returned to his experiments.

On the last day of the week, Clara walked towards where Iruma and Alice were with great joy.

But as she happily thought about all the games they would play that day, she unintentionally overheard a conversation among the three fallen angels asking Clara for things.

"Who would expect the son of a God and a descendant of a demon king to be with that weirdo."

"They're probably idiots or true sadists, entertaining themselves with a poor girl like her."

"Well, when they get bored of her, they might make use of her for other things. One is a Greek god, and the other is a demon of lust..."

The last comment was completely surrounded by venom and disgust that seemed to come from the leader of this small group of fallen angels.

This comment killed all of Clara's enthusiasm, and she quickly walked over to where Iruma and Alice were. However, she found only Iruma thinking about one of the gifts Clara had given him.

Seeing this, Clara tried to hide her sadness and pounced on Iruma, who didn't expect to be hit from behind.

"Ha, ha, ha! I got you!" Clara said with a laugh that to Iruma's ears sounded forced. "Take this! It's my favorite snack! And my juice and favorite book! And also my favorite toy! You can have them all; I'll give you whatever you want if you play with..."

"I don't need them! Sorry, Clara, but I don't need anything you're offering," Iruma interrupted Clara, and before she could continue speaking, Clara began to cry loudly.

Her cry was loud and heart-wrenching. If it were heard by a certain demon king, perhaps only a powerful dragon could stop his wrath.

While her crying was strong and flowing, Iruma tried to calm her down, but his words fell on deaf ears, and her crying continued. Then, summoning courage that was rare in him, Iruma took Clara's hands.

"I don't care about the gifts. I play with Clara of my own free will because it's genuinely fun," Iruma said as Clara stopped crying, looking at Iruma's innocent and true smile that made her heart race for Iruma's beautiful face.

"Really..." Clara said, trying to calm her heart. "Do you really want to play with me?"

"Of course, maybe I'm not very good, and Alice gets impatient, but I know in his heart he also enjoys your games," Iruma said, smiling at Clara, which didn't help in calming her pounding heart. "So let me ask you, Clara, would you play with us?"

Iruma said with all the courage he had gathered, making Clara's tears stop, and her most beautiful smile emerged, jumping for joy at such words.

"This is the first time someone has asked me to play! What should I do, Iruma-chi?" Clara said happily, starting to jump in excitement. In the meantime, she was observed by the small group of fallen angels.

"Oh? It's Clarin. We haven't seen you in a long time. Why not pass us a large drink to celebrate our reunion?" the fallen angel said shamelessly, which annoyed Iruma. However, Clara stood up and looked towards Iruma.

"Watch me, Iruma-chi," Clara said as she touched her pocket and approached the fallen angel, who was still muttering to himself. He couldn't see that he was being struck quickly by a vending machine.

"Yoel..." one of the fallen angels shouted as they picked up their friend, and Clara began to scold him loudly.

"Put a coin in if you want a drink! And I won't play with you, so goodbye!"

Upon Clara's words, the fallen angels were angered by their friend's attack and began preparing their light spears.

"Damn bitch..." one of the fallen angels shouted, but before they could launch themselves at Clara, they felt the weight of a gaze that froze them instantly.

Iruma looked at them abruptly, but now his blue eyes were tinted with a purple color, and a faint energy ran through his entire body. The angels, feeling that energy, sensed in their entire bodies that if they took a step forward, they would be completely annihilated by the power of a God.

"T-they'll pay, you'll see when the higher-ups of Grigory find out..." the fallen angels shouted in fear as they picked up their friend and fled to avoid being seen by those terrifying eyes Iruma had revealed.

Those terrifying eyes immediately dimmed when Clara turned around and smiled at Iruma.

Shortly after, Alice arrived, having been sent by Iruma to deal with the people taking advantage of Clara and resolve the situation amicably while he waited for Clara.

Alice obeyed and carried out his order with satisfaction, as in doing so, he managed to relieve some stress he had recently accumulated. Iruma didn't inquire about the bloodstains on Alice's clothes, and Alice's warm smile didn't provide any answers.

But before Iruma could seek more information, a colorful projectile hit Alice, and Clara was the culprit.

"Ha, ha, ha, I got you, azu-azu!"

"Damn green monster, you'll see when I catch you."

"Come on, Iruma, give it a try. It's a lot of fun."

"I'm not very good at throwing."

"Hey, don't let Iruma be tainted by your vulgar games. Stay away from that bad influence, Iruma."

"Ha, ha, ha."

The last thing was Iruma's sincere laughter as he evaded Clara's attacks. In this week, Iruma gained a powerful familiar and a cool but slightly crazy friend.
