And here we go again. Hello, there everyone. Here I bring you the next project I want to work on, a crossover between "Fate/Stay Night", or basically the Nasuverse, and "To Love Ru". Why, because it won the poll I posted on my profile, and also because the crossover section between these two franchises is getting dust. But mostly because it is an opportunity to pump up the comedy aspect of a story.

Now, I would like to think that I'm known around these grounds to a certain degree. Perhaps the stories "Date a Density" and "Reenacting a Legend" ring a bell. In fact, this story is in part a continuation of "Date a Density", but you won't have to worry about spoilers beyond this chapter and aside from the protagonist himself, who was introduced in the final arc of that story.

You can skip the next three paragraphs if you have already read some of my stories.

That is the main reason this is going to be hard to explain, harder than all my other stories. You see, I usually use an alternate version of Shirou Emiya that isn't one of the four official versions, nine if we count EMIYA, his alter counterpart, Fate/Extra's nameless, and the Emiya Shirous from "Hollow Ataraxia" and "Carnival Phantasm", which are basically a mix of the three original routes. The main reason for that was basically so he could have a romance without having the problem of previous romantic interest, and also to add some concepts I came up with.

Now, you have all the information about this version called 'King of Fakers' in my profile or you can go read my first story to get more in-depth. I won't get into details because he isn't going to be the protagonist this time, but his alter counterpart, which greatly differs from EMIYA Alter.

You also have King of Fakers alter information in my profile, at the end of it specifically. But as a quick summary, aside from being the other side of the coin of his regular counterpart, he basically took Kiritsugu and EMIYA alter's method to the next level. The legend of a nameless hero became mixed with that of a murderous monster, resulting in his Pretender class, and he became one of the Evils of Humanity and the current apex predator of the planet after defeating Beast IV in its own game by chance. In short, he's the embodiment of the human brutality on which progress is based.

Now, talking about the story itself, I think it would be correct to call this an AU. Since King of Fakers Alter, or Yuuki Shirou as he's going to go by in this new life, and Yuuki Rito's personality are worlds apart, there are going to be a lot of changes from the get-go. That, and to fit the Fate stuff I plan to add to replace the 50% of the original plot that revolved around the protagonist tripping with the plot itself to fall over the girls. I'll tell you in advance that this isn't going to be like my other crossovers.

Also, expect changes in some of the original characters, either a change of personality or being outright replaced by Fate characters in some cases. A cast comprised mostly of regular humans would cause them to be just spectators when the action quicks in, which tends to happen in the original story.

With all that wall of text to give some context out of the way, let's get to the actual fun!

Disclaimer: I don't own any right over Type-Moon, the Fate Franchise, or To Love Ru.

"May you find the flitting happiness he always sought in another life." Those words spoken with a familiar yet annoying voice crossed his mind as his golden eyes opened.

The auburn-haired boy took a look at his surroundings slowly. It was the same bland bedroom in the same house he's been living for 16 years. Yet, at the same time, it felt foreign. A feeling that just got worse as he remembered how he ended up in this… situation.

"Heh, what a way to start the day." The auburn-haired teenager spoke with a grumpy tone as he made his way out of his bed to start his routine. His body moved automatically with practiced easiness as his head went back to those words.

They might sound heartwarming but coming from the version of himself that did become the hero that saved everyone after beating him, it soured his mood. If he were to meet him again, he would definitely yell at him 'Who asked for your help!?', even if that never mattered to them… or any of their versions for that matter.

But that was just the beginning of the real reason remembering that annoyed him.

After he finished his workout in the small backyard as the sun started to raise, he went to the bathroom to take a quick shower before start preparing breakfast. In the middle of that process, he ended up taking a look at his reflection in the mirror, leading to him sighing.

The boy who greeted him was the same naive boy who was still a dreamer he never expected to see again... The word "lie" came to the front of his mind. However, now that he no longer had a crazy bastard as his master, his Pretender class container worked differently… This was no longer a "disguise", but instead, his monstrous form was the one that became the "lie".

To make things brief, the boy staring back at him was Yuuki Shirou, the result of him being fused with a compatible human in a random timeline that at first glance seemed peaceful. In magi terms, he could be considered a pseudo-servant.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on who you ask, there had been a walking corrupted Holy Grail around that ended up granting that unwanted wish after being purified.

And there laid the problem. The wish only specified that he would be able to find happiness. But after 16 years, there's no sign of that thing he threw away a long time ago. Neither was a big threat to exterminate that would give purpose to him ending up in this specific world.

Before he even noticed, he was already in the kitchen. The knowledge he inherited from his other self put him on the same level regarding their cooking skills, so he could allow himself to get a little distracted as his hands moved on their own.

His eyes wandered to a certain picture placed on the shelves above the glass-ceramic hob and the ghost of a genuine smile appeared on his face. There, a younger Yuuki Shirou was posing alongside the three persons he came to know as family.

Yuuki Saibai, a man that was in his twenties at that time with messy black hair, and actually the same golden eyes as him. He is currently living in a department that he turned into his studio for his work as a mangaka since the house didn't have enough space to set up something like that.

The woman by his side was Yuuki Ringo. She was more or less of the same age, her hair was of an orangish auburn, and her eyes were also golden. Now that he thought about it, that was running in the entire family. Her work as a famous fashion designer kept her traveling throughout the world, so she rarely dropped by.

It was almost funny how he ended up in a similar situation as his other self. Despite some of the similarities in appearance, those weren't his biological parents. They adopted him from an orphanage after losing his parents and a substantial amount of his memories in an accident involving an earthquake.

Quite the déjà vu if you asked him. In fact, that was what allowed him to awaken his memories as a nameless heroic spirit.

And last but not least, the other person in the picture was…

"Oh?" His process of thought came to a halt as he heard rushed footsteps coming down from the second floor of the house.

Shortly after, a girl three years younger than him still wearing her pajama entered the living room. Aside from her also golden eyes, she had very beautiful dark brown hair she liked to tie partially. And for some reason, she made a discouraged face the moment she saw him.

"Geez, I didn't make it in time today either…" That came as a whisper filled with frustration, but Shirou managed to pick it up.

"Why are you in such a hurry, Mikan? Is there something the matter?"

"Your inability to sleep more than six hours is the problem here, Onii-chan! Why won't you let me handle the breakfast once in a while!?"

That question earned her a raised eyebrow. "That's been my sleeping schedule since pretty much always. Besides, you're growing, so it's better for you to sleep as much as you can while I handle the house's chores."

"Why do you speak as if you weren't also underage? Let me at least help you."

"Fine, fine, you can take it from here while I get to our bentos…" He ended up conceding so as to not enter an endless discussion with her. If there was something they were alike, that definitely had to be their stubbornness.

The moment he stepped aside to let her enter his sanctuary, the scowl on her face quickly turned into a sweet smile that he was sure would melt all the boys around her eyes.

What a little sister he ended up stuck with. She used to be a cute little girl that looked up to him, just like Kotori, but at some point, she became really insistent on taking at least half of the chores, even when he insisted that he enjoyed doing them.

It must be puberty. At least he was sure she didn't have an 'S' side. But if she's already like that… should he worry about her bringing a boyfriend soon? In absence of his father, should he be the one to pass judgment on the poor souls that even thought of laying a finger on his little sister?

Nah, that would be excessive. The planet's apex predator shouldn't be picking fights with some kids. Just letting out some of his aura should be enough to make them wet their pants.

Once they finished and sat down to eat, the room was filled with the usual, yet still awkward silence. He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy having a regular family… but things tended to be like this.

He didn't know what to even talk about with his sister. Heck, the only thing he knew about her current tastes was that she was a workaholic like him. That and apparently, she has the reputation of being her school's idol for some reason.

And things weren't better when their parents were around. The old man still had to have that conversation with him, leaving him completely clueless regarding the opposite sex after forcing away the memories from his other self finally getting at it.

If anything, from time to time, he got the feeling that the little girl in front of him was just an acquaintance…

"Hey, Onii-chan…" The silence was surprisingly cut by Mikan's dragged words. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

"PFFT!" The moment that sudden question got registered in his mind, the food he was chewing went the wrong way, causing a coughing fit as he scrambled to get some water.

Her tone had been completely serious, but the way she started to laugh hinted that she was planning for this.

"Why- cough*, are you as asking that suddenly?"

"Well, I mean, you always come home just in time to start making dinner. Since I've never seen you with a friend, nor are you in a club, I thought you might…"

"I already told you; I like to stay and help around the clubs."

"Yeah, but I really doubt there's so much to fix at your school. You must be doing something else."

"You'd be surprised." The fact that he had to knock unconscious literally the director of the school once in a while due to that weird switch of his never ceased to amaze him. "But I'll admit I have some… acquaintances to pass the time with."

Calling like that the bunch of weirdos that actually exchanged more than two sentences per conversation with him still seemed wrong, but for the lack of a better term, it would do.

"'Acquaintances', huh…" The brown-haired girl rolled the world on her lips.

It still sounded really depressing, but that was definitely an improvement. Seeing the boy in front of her finish his breakfast and start picking up the dishes caused her to delve into her thoughts.

At first glance, one wouldn't be able to tell what was wrong. He would seem a regular boy, albeit a little… really socially awkward. But after living so many years with him, she could easily see through that.

Those emotions he showed… were the same as the paintwork of a car. It would make it look really beautiful, but when you get down to it, it is just a bunch of metal pieces that fit together. In her brother's case thought, it was worse.

What was left was… nothing. A void that stared back at you if you looked too much at it.

"Well, I'll get going then. See you later, Mikan."

Her expression began to be filled with sorrow as he saw him walk through the door with his school back. Just like every day, he went to face his uneventful day with the same non-existence enthusiasm as always.

Just… if someone entered in his life and managed to give color to it.

"… a-a-and with the a-a-abolition of the sh-sh-shogunate by Tokugawa Yoshinobu's o-o-own volition, the re-re-restoration period began…"

Listening to his teacher's attempt at giving a lesson, Yuuki Shirou couldn't help but look at the clock above the blackboard as he spun his pen. Seriously, that poor old man needed to retire already for his own good. He looked as if he was going to pass out at any moment.

And unfortunately, he already had a good understanding of that period in Japan, so he saw no point in paying attention aside from being ready to call an ambulance.

His golden eyes took a look around him, but that just made him remember that he barely knew any of his classmates. It was better like that thought. Even if he tried, it was natural for them to reject him.

No one should be even close to one of the Evils of Humanity.

"Hmm?" Putting aside that depressing thought, his eyes caught a glimpse of light in the sky on the other side of the window.

That certainly wasn't the sun… but there was no way a ransom star would be visible in broad daylight. And it was getting quickly bigger by the second...

A meteorite!? But aren't the astrologists paid to warn people about those things!?

"Crap!" He immediately burst out of his desk to run up the rooftop and blow it away with Caladbolg.

He was so focused that he missed how the alarm signaling the beginning of the first break rang, and how all his classmates ignored the poor teacher to pull out their bentos or go to the cafeteria as he slowly walked out of the classroom. The noise actually overshadowed his sudden outburst, but it came with an inconvenience.

"Hey, Yuuki-kun, why don't we have lunch together?"

A girl of blue, shoulder-length hair and purple eyes approached him with a heart-warming smile. The auburn-haired boy in contrast narrowed his eyes as he stared back at her, and caressed his chin in thought.

"You are… Sigechi-san?"

The way he missed completely every kanji of her name caused her to freeze in shock, a moment he used to sneak a glance through the window to calculate how much time he had left…

"Huh?" But the meteorite was no longer there. Did he misjudge its size and it just disintegrated before reaching the ground? Or was he starting to see things in his eagerness to seek a purpose?

"Yo-you did that on purpose, didn't you!?" The girl's yell brought his attention back to the other issue bothering him.

Well, he might as well get some fun out of this. "Of course, there's no way I wouldn't know my personal stalker, Sairenji-san."

She looked like she swallowed another yell before speaking reluctantly. "Jeez, why do you treat like that the only one who approaches you? I even chose you over going with Mio-san and Risa-san."

Now that she mentioned her friends, he could see them sticking their heads out the door leading to the hallway and giving him a look reserved for dangerous criminals.

"I never asked you to do this, but if you insist, then by all means…"

He didn't even finish that sentence before the smile returned to her face and she pushed a nearby desk against his. Shirou decided to ignore that and instead pull out his bento, one of the few things he considered a pleasure in this second life.

As he started to stuff the delicious food into his mouth, his mind drifted to the girl in front of him. Sairenji Haruna, a girl that, weirdly enough, appeared out of nowhere one day and started insisting on spending time with him.

He wouldn't be so reluctant if he wasn't sure that he never even talked to her before that day. At first glance, she seemed like the stereotypical extrovert and responsible girl that would immediately sway the hearts of all her classmates. She was selected as the class rep without even offering herself as a candidate.

But if you asked him, something seemed off about her. He couldn't put it into words. You could say it was his intuition as a fellow liar.

"Yuuki-kun, I've been meaning to ask…" She started after apparently getting tired of just staring at him without even touching her bento. "But why don't you even try to clear up your reputation?"

That question earned her a raised eyebrow. "My reputation? Do you mean that I should stop helping the clubs after lessons, so people stop calling me 'Fake Janitor'?"

"That's not what I mean. I'm really glad that people from other classrooms are starting to know your kindness, but our classmates still think you were the delinquent that ruined the class's garden back in elementary school."

"Oh, that's still a thing? That explains a lot of things…" It was true that during the last year of elementary school, someone saw him fixing the mess caused by the 'popular kids' and the blame was pinned on him, even if there were more witnesses on his side.

He was sure that everyone would have just forgotten about that two years later, but well, his very nature more likely than not caused those feelings of rejection to linger more than they should.

"I'm not going to tell people what should think about me. That's up to them."

Her face turned really sad. "But I saw you. I've been watching you going around and helping everyone without asking for anything in return. Someone like you shouldn't be hated…"

"And you ask me why I call you a stalker?" His instant retort smashed the sorrowful atmosphere, Haruna's eyebrow twitching for a moment before she pulled herself together again. "Don't you have things to do at the Tennis Club?"

"You're the one who comes to help us with the maintenance of the rackets, you know? Besides, do you have any other hobbies aside from fixing things? I want to know more about you."

"There's nothing really that interesting to know about me. I'm just a regular guy who lives alone with his definitely more popular little sister."

"Hoh… Then, you have a lot of free time. Why don't we exchange phone numbers?"

"Huh?"

"What the!?"

"Why you!"

That finally caused the few remaining male students to snap. The most popular girl in the class just said that she wanted to exchange numbers with a hooligan. Or at least that's what just happened from their perspective.

"Sairenji-san, why do you lose your time with this weirdo!' Why don't you-" A boy with spiky hair approached her making demands as if he were a jealous boyfriend, but he stopped in his tracks the moment she turned to look at him.

Shirou couldn't see Haruna's face from his point of view, but he could get an idea judging by the way the guy's face went completely pale.

"Err… Kageyama, was it? What were you saying?" And the way she missed completely his family name dealt the finishing blow, causing him to crumble just like his fighting spirit.

Man, not even a quarter of an hour after finally having a proper conversation with his stalker and she was already stealing his jokes. He was the faker here. But he would be lying if he said this wasn't amusing.

"Saruyama, hold on there!"

"What did you do to him, you beast!"

And of course, they assumed it was his fault due to their inability to see through her 'innocent girl' mask. She noticed it too and turned around to give him an apologetic look.

"Don't listen to them, Yuuki-kun. Now, what do you say?"

"Haah… fine." He let out a sigh as he tore a piece of paper from one of his notebooks and wrote down his phone number for her.

What could go wrong? Doing something aside from cleaning the house and replenishing the fridge would be a nice change of pace.

"Here, you can have it. Just don't call or text me at an unreasonable hour."

His words went over her head as she looked at the paper in her hands like a kid staring at her Christmas presents.

"YES! Thank you so much, Yuuki-kun! I'll definitely call you this weekend!"

And just like that, she just sprinted out of the classroom, leaving him alone again. For a moment, he thought this was just a bet she made with her friends, but he doubted all that stalking and sweet talk was just for this.

At least, she wasn't harassing someone else.

Lessons resumed as always, without anything worth noting. The old man barely finished his again without fainting, and the other teachers did their best to keep everyone's attention on the lessons at a time when everyone's blood was being used for digestion.

Shirou kept throwing glances at the sky, but he didn't get to see another suspicious light.

And while everyone went either home or to their respective clubs once the final bell rang, Shirou went to the infirmary. Usually, going there would mean someone wasn't feeling well and needed to be attended to, but in his case, he was going to do the exact opposite.

"Yo, Mikado-sensei. Where's that thing in need of a repair." The moment he entered the room, he casually greeted the woman that was considered the most gorgeous in Sainan Academy.

If that stunt with Haruna made people lose their cool, they'd definitely get an aneurism if they were to see the scene.

Mikado Ryoko, a woman that looked to be around her thirties with green eyes, red, shoulder-length hair, and wearing a lab coat on top of a pink top. She was the school's doctor and the cause that people here weren't so reluctant to the annual medical check-up.

"Hello there, Yuuki-kun. Sorry for imposing once again, but you'll find it at bottom of that closet."

"It's no big deal. I'm glad to be able to help you to help other people."

He answered that smile that would bring any man to her feet with his own and just went to grab the device she was referring to. Which was quite big now that he lifted it out of the closet.

"Trace, on." Without even bothering to hide it, he ignited some of his magical circuits and started analyzing the device under Mikado's curious stare.

Even after fixing pretty much any kind of device in this school, the blueprint that formed in his mind once he finished was almost incomprehensible for him, but he managed to see what was wrong with it.

"Just out of curiosity, what is this thing supposed to do?"

"I use it to measure the pulse and blood pressure of my usual patients."

Shirou couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at her casual answer. "Can't you just… use a regular pulsometer?"

"That wouldn't do. Remember that not every creature that comes from space has even a humanoid shape. That's basically a filter for all the surrounding noise so I can measure it without having to attach a band."

"I guess that makes sense. I don't know what you attended recently, but the internal pulsometer is straight-up fried."

"Just as I feared. Species with more than one heart tend to cause that. Do you think you install the spare one?"

"This will be quite the challenge, but one I'm willing to take."

With that said, he immediately projected the set of tools he needed and started to carefully disassemble it. The alien technology this woman used was quite fascinating, not because it was superior to the one developed by DEM or Asgard Electronics in the other world, but due to its absurd complexity to reach the same effect.

He guessed they needed that in order to compensate for the lack of magecraft to back it up.

"You know, this magecraft of yours never ceases to amaze me. Who would have known humans had the hidden potential to turn their life energy and the energy in the atmosphere into fuel to skip the steps that usually require technology."

"It's not that impressive. At least not my craft. I'm just a third-rate at best. But you're lucky the magus you stumbled upon was me instead of the weirdos back in London. The Area 51 would be a bunch of friends trying to hang out with you compared to what they would do to you."

"Are you really sure about the former? That organization you speak of is most likely formed by humans, while you on the other hand are something more. In fact, why don't you show me how much difference there is~"

And there she was again bringing this up. His relationship with this woman was just like that. Getting to talk without having to hide who they were, for the most part, was pleasant, but her scientifical persona got out quite a lot when he was around.

As for the reason she immediately knew he was a servant even when he was hiding it, well, she wasn't human either. If you were to look at her carefully, you would notice that those ears she hid behind her hair were pointy. That didn't mean she was an elf either, but he wished she were as improbable as that was due to all the phantasmal species having been pushed to the reverse side of the world in this timeline, too.

No, she was an alien. A being that came from the void of space, just to set up a clinic to treat other aliens that may come to Earth.

He was used to aliens being quite a bit more aggressive and powerful, but he guessed the Counter Force wouldn't be triggered with cases like hers.

But the real reason for his headaches wasn't her, but the implications of her presence here, and the one that actually had the idea of starting to set up a place for aliens on Earth.

"How many times I've told you that I'm not like your boss or those servants that just pop out from the ether in that… how was it called?"

"Shining Blue Galaxy. Basically, the other corner of the universe."

That's right. Even if at first glance this seemed to be the Earth he knew, he doubted that was the case anymore. It just resembled it because it is in a part of the universe that somewhat resembled the timelines where the Human Order thrived, but that other part of the universe evolved into something else completely.

In fact, he could swear he had already heard that name before even reincarnating, but he couldn't put a finger on it…

"Yeah, that… Besides, you already know my politics against hostile aliens."

She let out a sigh at that. Not because it was a threat, but because it was quite a reality.

"Yuuki-kun, you know, the rumors of a horrible monster lurking in this city can become quite the detriment for our plans."

"I never said I would collaborate with you guys. I don't have a problem with the ones that come to do some sightseeing and relax, but you can't expect me to stand idly when they try to abduct people."

"You could just hand them to the space police instead of making them disappear. This part of the universe is now way more peaceful and lawful than before Gid Lucione Deviluke unified it by force."

"Well, unfortunately, I don't know who that guy is, and I couldn't care less. By the way, can you toss me the replacement?"

"Sure, here you go." Her seriousness returned a moment after casually passing the part so Shirou could start reassembling the device. "I know you must pack quite the power even for a servant if you caught that lady's eye, but you shouldn't make light of that man. Rumors say he's able to destroy planets with just his incommensurable power alone."

That actually caused the boy to stop for a moment, but his reaction was short-lived.

"So he's in the level of a Type, huh? Things would get troublesome if he were to appear, yes. I would like to think that those weirdos at the Atlas institute would use one of their super weapons in that case, but something tells me I'll have to be the one to clean that mess as always."

In fact, a stray thought crossed his mind. One that got him actually… excited? Thrilled? Eager? He couldn't put his finger on the emotion he felt, but he could say for that he hadn't felt it across these 16 years.

Could it be that guy the very reason he was reincarnated in this weird universe specifically?

"Well, even if I've said that the chances of that are slim. This planet most likely went under his radar because most of its citizens are still just guessing that there are other forms of life in the universe. From their perspective, this is still an underdeveloped planet."

"Yeah… you didn't just pull a red flag right now… My luck might be ranked E, but that's because there aren't lower ranks."

"C'mon, it can't be that bad."

"Of all the schools in the world, I had to be enrolled in the only one that is being financed by a servant that came from the other side of the universe and has an alien as their doctor. And those are just the tip of the iceberg if we're talking about weird stuff."

He was already screwing the device's cover when he remembered something he wanted to ask. "Now that I remember, did you see a flame in the sky this morning? Something that looked like a meteor?"

"No, I haven't seen anything like that. And before you ask, I didn't receive any notification from a ship landing on Earth. If someone did, they did it without following any of the legal procedures."

"I see. I guess today is patrol night."

"Please, don't kill them right off the bat."

He decided to shrug and close one of his eyes. "Who do you take me? I don't like meaningless deaths just as you do, but that depends on how hostile they are. At the very least, expect a pair of broken limbs in that case."

"That would be an improvement at least. Are you done?"

"Yes. Give it a try."

He already knew it would work fine again but having Mikado's confirmation was reassuring. After waving her off, he continued his stroll through the school's hall to lend a hand to whoever needed it.

Just like that, he disappeared without even giving her the time to thank him, let alone ask what she could do to compensate him. But she was already used to him turning her down. The joke with her offering her body was already getting old and no longer affected him, but she doubted that was the reason.

If she had to give a verdict, that's how Yuuki Shirou was. A shadow that had its effect around, but no one noticed. A dichotomy if she ever saw one.

A person who does selfless acts, while selfishly pretending he didn't have anything to do with it. No wonder why that opulent woman fell from her pedestal head over hills the moment they met by chance.

But there is no way he will be able to keep that up forever.

And so, the day ended for the auburn-haired boy as he entered his home and started preparing dinner. There might have been some variations, but that aside, it had been the same as always.

A peaceful life he never asked for.

Even if watching his sister enjoy the dinner he prepared was close to striking a chord. Even if taking a long, relaxing bath helped unwind these feelings he'd been accumulating for years…

That thing called happiness was out of his grasp as always.

"Heh… I guess it truly is impossible for a horrible villain like me to be happy…" Shirou muttered as he closed his eyes and let his muscles relax in the hot water.

You could say this was one of the very few moments he was actually lowering his guard. He still kept an eye open, even if it was just staring at the ceiling, and thanks to a certain bothersome noble phantasm he received, he didn't even need to use tracing to shred apart any poor soul who entered his range with hostile intentions.

Not that he expected something like that to happen due to his low profile.

"Maybe I find something interesting this night… Nah, who am I kidding? Either it's about an alien getting lost and asking me for direction, or another hopeless victim who picked the wrong planet for their undoing…"

The idea of going to the middle east once Mikan had her life sorted out was starting to sound appealing, even if he knew it would just end the same way.

"Tsk…" He clucked his tongue without realizing it.

It was all his fault. He had never had these problems until they crossed paths. It had been a long time since he came to terms with having thrown away his dream to protect humanity.

But what was he supposed to do after meeting the ideal version of him? The one that did achieve his dream instead of becoming the furthest thing from it.

"Huh?" But just before those somber thoughts ruined his relaxing bath, something… happened.

The seemingly unshakable peace was suddenly smashed to pieces as a mysterious light blinded his only open eye and an unfamiliar presence appeared out of nowhere.

Momentarily stripped from his primary sense, he reacted on instinct. The enemy might have been able to reach his house unnoticed, but there was no way they could have broken into the room without him hearing the window being shattered.

Therefore, his left hand shot to open that window while his right hand tensed up to obliterate whoever was on the other side.

"…?"

But as fate might have it, all that sequence was interrupted when his left hand landed on something soft he could immediately tell wasn't the window's handle. That, and the lack of killing intention, made him stop his attack and reconsider the situation. His other hand also landed in something soft after losing all its momentum, which made it even more confusing.

At that instant, he decided to try his look and open the eye that wasn't blinded. Fortunately, the light had finally faded… but the sight that met him was more astonishing by a large margin.

"What the…"

As a once vagrant traveler who fought against the darkest part of the world, and now one of the Evils of Humanity… his brain failed miserably to process what just happened.

Some keywords managed to get registered, like "girl", "gorgeous", and definitely, "big". Those almost overshadowed the more important facts like the supernatural presence or that strange tail he picked at the corner of his vision.

The fact was… somehow, a naked girl that looked to be around his age popped out of nowhere in front of him. Her beauty was mesmerizing. From her long, pink hair that flowed like silk, her emerald eyes looking down with middle confusion, and her well-defined curves.

If you asked him, this seemed more like the first scene of an isekai light novel. Maybe his brain was about to fall asleep and he was starting to have hallucinations? No, as a pseudo-servant, he didn't even need that much of sleep…

But even if he rationalized that this unknown girl teleported into his bathroom… how? He would've sensed it if there was some kind of magic or supernatural phenomenon involved… but he didn't sense anything out of place before she appeared.

"Err…" She finally broke the awkward silence with a high-pitched voice, their eyes finally meeting. Her lips tilted upwards to form a… relieved smile? "Are you done?"

He was about to question what she meant when he finally realized a minor detail.

Those soft things on which his hands landed were actually her rather big "assets". If his hormones weren't already out of control, that did it. His face must have become a mess of red judging by how it heated up before he finally snapped out of it and jumped out of the tub.

"Who in the world are you and what are you doing in my house!?" He tried to ask first as he pulled a towel over his "sword".

He could feel there was some kind of minor charm trying to mess with his brain, but he was pretty much sure his abnormally fast heart rate and irregular breathing were due to his lack of contact with women.

Damn, he never thought that could actually become a problem. And why did his mind keep going back to the soft sensation that still lingered in his hands!?

"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Lala, Lala Satalin Deviluke." She answered casually, not embarrassed in the least by her current situation. "As for the reason I'm here, I guess you could say it was a coincidence. I was about to be caught by my persecutors, so I decided to use one of my most recent inventions, Pyon-Pyon-Warp-Kun, to teleport away, but I didn't have the luxury of choosing my destination."

Her speech was followed by contemplative silence. At least she was aware that dumping all that information on pretty much anyone would definitely leave them confused. It took him some seconds to process and connect all the information to get a clear picture of the situation.

In short, looks like trouble came right at him instead of the other way around this night. And this girl must be really lucky to have landed in the only place where there was someone who wouldn't just freak out and kick her out of their house immediately.

And that surname… he could swear he had heard it somewhere…

"I see… Yuuki Shirou. Call me just Shirou. I would want to know more about that, but first… why are you completely naked?"

"Well, Pyon-Pyon-Warp-Kun is still a prototype, so it can just teleport living matter."

Just living matter, she says… She's saying that she managed to replicate a mystery close to true magic with pure technology as if she were just stating what she bought at the grocery shop…

Still, no shame on her part. Does she even care that he can basically see everything? And what's with that convoluted name? That's even more ridiculous than the current trend scientists follow to name planets.

"Wait a moment here. Don't make any loud noise." He received a nod after he turned around and walked into the in-between room before the bathroom to put some clothes on.

He slowly opened the door leading to the hallway and silently peeked his head out. Fortunately, Mikan was watching a show on the TV, so the path to his room was clear.

He still gave her a towel to cover her body before signaling her to follow him. His room was a better place to discuss whatever alien problems she had.

Usually, if a boy you just met brings you to his room and locks the door behind him, your reaction should be freaking out and calling the… space police in her case. But aside from some curious looks she threw around, she seemed quite calm.

Was this a façade? Being able to remain calm when you find yourself on an unfamiliar planet after being chased would require nerves of steel.

"Well…" He started as he took a seat on his desk while she sat on his bed. "We can skip the part where you tell me that you're an alien. Would you tell me the reason why you ended up on this 'backwater' planet, Lala-san?"

It was her turn to look at him with confusion at his neutral face. "I thought the inhabitants of this planet weren't aware of our existence… Are you perhaps an alien, too, Shirou?"

"No, you just were lucky you ran into an exception. Besides, even if you were the first alien I met, your presence and tail are a giveaway."

"Hehe, I guess you're right. Well, you see, I ran from my planet, but I was followed. I thought I could lose them coming to this planet, but they managed to follow me."

"And why exactly did you run away?"

"I…" She fumbled with her fingers. It seemed she was hesitating to answer that question, most likely because it involved personal reasons.

Maybe he should just escort her to Mikado's place? She and her collaborator would certainly know what to do and having to explain to Mikan why a naked beauty with a tail appeared in his room was a minefield he wasn't stepping into.

"LALA-SAMA!" But before she could make up her mind, something entered the window flying and landed right on her bust.

It had a humanoid form, but it was really short, almost like a human baby, and it bore no presence at all. A robot?

He was ready to attack, but seeing how Lala returned the hug, he concluded it was an ally.

"Thank goodness you're fine, Lala-sama! You almost caused my energy core to burst when you suddenly disappeared!"

"I'm glad to see you're fine, too, Peke. Could you please form my clothes once again? Shirou here seems to be getting ashamed."

"Alright, Lala-sama."

Shirou wanted to object but couldn't find the energy to do so. That said, the little robot proceeded to shapeshift and wrap itself around Lala's body to form a set of clothes. He might have to retract all his thoughts on alien technology after this…

But the outstanding display was almost overshadowed by the end result. It was white and dark themed, and pretty much resembled Peke's appearance with its head becoming a big hat with its spiraling eyes popping out. The bat wings attached to the hat and back, combined with her surname, confirmed that her race resembled the devils portrayed in popular culture.

If you asked him, that dress looked right out of a video clip from the nineties. And was the moaning necessary?

"With that out of the way, Lala-sama, would you tell me who's this Earthling you called Shirou and has a grumpy face?"

"Don't be like that, Peke. He's the owner of this house, and it looks like he wants to help."

The auburn-haired let out a sigh at her big smile. She wasn't wrong with her assumption, but she could at least put more thought into it. He could have very well wanted to take advantage of her desperate situation…

"At the very least, I can take you to where the only alien a trust lives. I think she will know what to-" His words halted as his neck snapped to look at the window. "Too late. I sense a couple of supernatural presences heading this way. And they are quite fast."

It took her a moment to get what the implied, and for the first time, he saw her expression shift to one of mild annoyance as she looked up to meet her dress robot in the eyes.

"Peke, don't tell me you didn't make sure no one was following you…"

"I'm really sorry, Lala-sama! I was in such a hurry!"

"We need to run-"

"You're not going anyway, Princess Lala!"

A low voice interrupted her before she could make a move just as a couple of bulky men in black jumped into the room through the window. He initially thought they were FBI agents, but their presence was similar to Lala's and their tails didn't give room for imagination.

The golden-eyed boy was completely ignored while they immediately fought to restrain the pink-haired girl with everything. He doubted they even registered his presence in their minds.

"Let me go! I don't wanna go back!" It was at that moment that the despair Lala was feeling showed on her face as she struggled.

"That's enough, Princess Lala! Cease this pointless tantrum and come with us!"

Now, this was a development he didn't expect. The picture he formed was an innocent girl that was being persecuted by some space criminals or something. But a runaway princess from a distant planet? If he had to bet, the most common reason behind princesses running away from their country, or planet in her case, was an unwanted arranged marriage.

"Give me a break…" Shirou whispered as he caressed his forehead. He wanted to find a purpose in his current life but being branded a criminal after mistakenly abducting a princess wasn't what he envisioned.

The sight was quite disheartening, but he couldn't just make himself a target. Depending on the circumstances, the whole planet would end up getting involved…

His train of thought halted the moment Lala's hopeless eyes met his for an instant. The plea conveyed by them hit him like a splash of cold water, and the way she immediately resigned herself so as to not get him involved with her own troubles felt like a hand tightening his heart.

"I'm not selfless enough to throw away my dream and happiness for the sake of others! I'm just a stubborn fool that just kept hitting his head against an unbreakable wall until it miraculously fell apart!"

"Hah…"

It was illogical, but maybe… just maybe...he could act as the hero one last time.

Now, what was the best approach? Turning on the pseudo-servant mode would definitely alert them, so he should stick to just reinforcement and mana burst. It should be more than enough to give them a surprise even if their presence exerted the same pressure as a dead apostle.

With a plan formed in his mind, he grabbed the measuring tape on his desk and made his move.

"That's enough!"

The sudden voice surprised the two men in black, but before they could react, he smashed his foot on the face of one of them. The mana burst-propelled kick flung him through the very window he used to enter the house like a rag doll.

Shock hit both Lala and the other Alien, and he took advantage of it to separate them and position himself in front of Lala. The moment the alien clad in a tuxedo processed what just happened, he stepped back to reassess the situation.

"This is none of your business, kid. Step aside and I'll overlook your sudden attack on a royal guard of Deviluke." He spoke annoyed, and Shirou answered with a confident smile.

"Oh, but this became my business the moment you broke through my window almost in a literal sense, so I'm exerting my right as the owner of this property to kick out undesired guests. Besides…"

He raised the measuring tape and expended it as if it were a weapon. Seeing the confusion spreading in their expression, things were going according to plan.

"I don't need a reason to help someone in need!"

He had to admit it. Even if that was his catchphrase, no one could take him seriously with a measuring tape at hand. He could already see how the caution quickly shifted to outright annoyance and disbelief on the alien's face as he pulled out what resembled an extendable baton.

"Well, I warned you boy. This will hurt quite a lot, but when you wake up, you won't remember anything and resume your life as if nothing happened."

"Heh, we'll see about that."

That taunt was the icing on the cake, and the bulky alien just played into his hands.

"What, Shirou-" He heard Lala's worried voice, but seeing that the alien was already moving to attack, he had no choice but to ignore her.

The baton was swung with a speed and force that Shirou was sure would smash the skull of a regular human. He had to give it to the man to still assume that he was no ordinary foe, but the man in black still underestimated him.

The attack was so telegraphed that it would be hard not to block it. And he didn't notice the magical energy that was reinforcing the measuring tape to the point that it was practically a sword capable of cutting through regular still.

CLANG!

"Wha-" A trio of confused voices followed the metallic clash caused by Shirou's "weapon" blocking the baton in a shower of sparks.

He didn't give the alien a second to pull himself together. The auburn-haired boy immediately wrapped the tape around the baton and pulled, causing the opponent to lose balance and leave himself open.

"Gah!" The air was knocked out of his lungs when an elbow was driven right in his solar plexus, and the moment his body bent forward, a chop on the back of his neck finished the job.

Shirou observed the unconscious alien for a moment. That had been easier than he expected, but he wasn't going to complain. At least he kept his promise with Mikado and didn't add another name to the list of disappeared aliens.

With that settled, he turned to look at Lala and an eyebrow shot up by reflex. Her mouth was still open after shouting her warning, and she was blinking like an owl.

Should she be more used to seeing this kind of thing as an alien?

He decided to crank up a joke to ease the remaining tension in her body. "That should buy us some time so you can explain to me what's the exact deal with these guys… Wait, you aren't going to tell me they are here to invade Earth and you came here to warn us like in those American movies, right?"

He didn't get a laugh from her, but at least she finally reacted. "No, nothing like that. You see, I-"

For the second time in the night, she was interrupted, but this time, it was Shirou. His entire body tensed up as he looked up.

Looks like playtime is over. The presence he sensed landing on the roof was nothing like those aliens. That had to be the boss judging by the power he radiated.

"That was a lot quicker than I expected… And this alien is no pushover like those guys… that's in the level of a superior dead apostle or even an average servant. Wait here while I deal with him, Lala."

Without even waiting for her answer, his combat attire replaced his home clothes and he immediately jumped through the window to climb to the roof.

"Hmm…" A tall man clad in demonic-looking armor coupled with a long red cape inspected the place in which he landed. While his handsome face and greyish hair would make him attractive, his blue eyes portrayed a stern look, and the scorpion-like tail would definitely scare them.

It looked like a regular city, and the house in which he was standing didn't seem out of the ordinary. However, the distress signal he received from Smutts warning him from a third-party seconds before losing consciousness in a nearby alley was something really worrying.

"Princess Lala must be in one of this house's rooms… Should I break in-"

His pondering was interrupted by the sound of a pair of metal boots hitting the tails behind him. The armored knight turned around, and his body became tense the moment his eyes met golden.

A boy with auburn hair and golden eyes that seemed to be around Lala's age stood there, wearing a black combat suit with silver accents and a red cloak that danced with the wind like a cape.

If the attire wasn't already enough indication, the presence that boy was exuding triggered all his warning instincts. In all his years on the battlefield across the galaxies, he had never encountered a race that could inflict fear upon a devilukian.

"You are the one keeping Princess Lala imprisoned in this building I assume…" The alien spoke as he slowly reached for the sword hilt strapped to his belt.

"I'm not imprisoning anyone. Lala there wanted some help dealing with her stalkers, so I came to kick you back to your planet." The red knight spoke with a casual tone that betrayed the intensity of his stare.

"Look, we just came to escort her back to our home after she suddenly ran away. It must be her rebellious phase. If you step aside, no one else has to get hurt."

Shirou then pointed to the alley where Smutts landed with his thumb. "Your friends there didn't think the same. Besides, I doubt she just ran away because she felt like it. I saw the sheer despair on her face."

The alien let out a sigh as he understood that negotiations were a failure from the very beginning. Not only that, but a part of him wanted to agree with the boy. Ever since Lala's father started to search for a successor without even considering her opinion she became more like a living doll dragging herself around the palace.

But he couldn't let his own feelings interfere with his duty. Perhaps they could try to persuade her father to change his methods. He had a soft spot for his daughters after all. But that began by bringing Princess Lala back.

"You leave me no choice." After those words were said, Zastin, the commander of the royal guard unsheathed his sword. And by that, what he actually did was turn it on, causing a blade-shaped, green laser to emerge from the hilt.

The red knight narrowed his eyes looking at the sword and then answered in kind.

"Trace, on."

It happened fast, but Zastin was able to catch on to the details. First, a circuit-like pattern shone through his hands, emitting some kind of energy. And then, that energy quickly took the shape of a pair of twin, steel swords.

He didn't know much about the swords crafted on this planet, but he could tell those were masterpieces. However, in complete contrast, the boy raised the swords and crossed them in front of him.

Calling that stance amateur wouldn't cut it. There was literally no defense there. But that was only on the surface. It actually was an invitation to take the initiative, and the way all his instincts screamed at him that attacking would be a mistake was bad news.

A stray drop of sweat rolled through the forehead of the man considered to be Deviluke's strongest swordsman as he got ready to attack. Even with the lack of information on the enemy and all the alarms he was triggering, he had his honor to defend, and a Princess to rescue.

"Hnn!" Without wasting time, the armored alien kicked the floor to rush at his foe, ripping away several tiles. He put everything in his first swing, so even if the boy blocked it, he would be blown away by his strength.

But none of those options happened when their steel met for the first time. With a clash that most likely woke up the entire neighborhood, the black sword deflected his swing, and the red knight stepped aside to let the alien get carried by his momentum and fall from the roof.

However, Zastin had none of that and sunk his metal boots on the tiles to halt. With a quick spin, he redirected his momentum and swung his sword again, blocking the red knight's follow-up with his white sword.

Never dropping the initiative, the alien kept pursuing and swinging his sword at the red knight. It seemed like a cat-and-mouse game, but his efforts weren't bearing fruit. No matter what technique or strategy he was using, his attacks weren't landing.

It wasn't that the red knight had better reflexes than him. No, Zastin could say they were on equal ground in that department. The red knight wasn't reacting to his attacks when he threw them, but before he threw them.

The amount of combat experience to read the flow of the battle accurately predict all of his attacks… how many steps ahead was he seeing?

Something wasn't adding up here. It was true that Earth was labeled as a danger zone, but it wasn't because humans were this strong. The age in which humans were feared warriors had passed and was evolving into an age of research that caused every alien caught to be experimented on to death.

The boy in front of him had to be an exception, and even then… despite his appearance, he didn't even feel like a human. Something superior, even to the strongest species in the universe…

Or at least this part of the universe.

Regardless of his observations, he had to end this match quickly. The moment he lost the tempo, he was certain the red knight's counterattack would be devastating.

Changing the pace, the Alien suddenly went for shoulder ramming, forcing the red knight to cross his blades in front of his chest to block it. Next, taking advantage of that moment in which, the red knight had to sink his boots on the roof to stay in the fight, the alien went for an overhead strike.

Without any option left, the red knight raised his twin blades to block the attack. The force behind the blow made his arms bulge, and his feet sunk even further into the roof.

Zastin finally had him where he wanted. If there was an aspect he was sure he surpassed the red knight, it was raw strength. Just putting more of his strength should be enough to overpower him-

"…!" Zastin's heart skipped a bit the moment he saw a cocky grin flashing through the red knight's dead serious face. It was at that flitting moment that he came to a somber realization.

It had been him the one who played right into his hands.

The same energy the red knight used early flooded the twin blades to suddenly burst, forcing the alien's blade and arms up, effectively leaving him completely open. Without wasting a second, he lunged both swords at Zastin's chest, aiming at both his heart and right lung.

The blue-eyed alien tried to jump back to at least mitigate some of the damage, but the Yin Yang swords still tore through his demonic-looking armor and drew blood.

He brought his left hand to his chest to assess the wounds. They were superficial, but now his breastplate was falling apart.

There would be no second chance… at least if the battle continued. The red knight didn't move to press on his advantage and instead opened his mouth to speak.

"This will be your last chance. If you take your friends and leave this planet to never return, I'll write this off as just a skirmish."

"I can see now your confidence has a solid foundation… That human-like appearance, that aura, those abnormal combat skills, and those strange powers… as unbelievable as it is, I never thought I'd run into one of those servants hailing from the Shining Blue Galaxy. Do tell me, what will you do with Princess Lala if we withdraw?"

The red knight didn't seem fazed by his deduction. "I'll just let her choose what she wants to do. Something that, apparently, you guys stole from her."

Zastin let out a dry laugh. "As much as I'd like to disagree, I'm afraid that's the case. However, even if I let this pass and retreat, the moment I report this to Princess Lala's father, things will get really complicated for you, even as a servant. Lord Gid Lucione Deviluke is a wise man, but he can get carried away when it comes to his precious daughters. In the worst-case scenario, he might even destroy the planet that dared to take Princess Lala away from him."

The moment he mentioned the name of his King, the red knight's eyes widened in recognition.

Zastin was glad the name of the conqueror of the galaxy somehow reached him. The twin swords faded into specs of light, and for a moment, the alien thought that the red knight would hear him and perhaps even help him convince the King to cease with the forced meetings for Lala…

But the next moment, the red knight's expression turned cold and a wave of killing intent caused the alien to pale and freeze on his spot.

To say it was monstrous would be the biggest understatement ever made in the galaxy. If he had to put it into words… that must have been what their enemies felt whenever his King stepped into the battlefield.

"If that's the case, then you leave me no other choice. And here I thought I could keep my promise. Guess I'll have to add more corpses to the list."

The muscles of the red knight's arm tensed in preparation for a thrust, and for a moment, Zastin saw a monstrous, white claw replacing the human arm. But he had no time to debate if he was seeing things, as what he assumed was the servant's noble phantasm came at blinding speeds.

He tried to lift his sword, but it was no use. Whatever he thought to save himself, his instincts told him that his fate was already sealed. More than an attack, what came for him was death itself-

"STOP, ZASTIN! Please, don't hurt Shirou! He's… he's my fiancée!"

But as luck might have it, a familiar voice caused the red knight to freeze on his spot, his bare hand stopping mere inches from Zastin's chest as his golden eyes widened in astonishment.

Never mind that Lala got the situation completely backward, what mattered was that she coincidentally saved his life. The moment in which the killing intent stopped permeating his body, he felt every part of it drenched in sweat…

Wait, what did she just say after that?

Both the alien and the servant turned to look at the gorgeous girl, who was now looking at both utterly confused, and they spoke in complete synch.

""WHAT!?""

"Well, I mean…" Lala started to play with her hair while looking aside embarrassed. "You touched my chest, Shirou. That's Deviluke's way to formally ask for a girl's hand… and I accepted…"

Zastin turned to slowly look at the servant, and he could clearly see how he was having trouble processing the bombshell that was suddenly dropped onto him. Finally, his face turned into pure hysteria.

"What's with that messed up way to ask for a girl's hand!? That was clearly an accident! Do you really think I would ask for the hand of a girl that just popped into my bathroom!? And why would you accept just like that!?"

"You are the only one that didn't treat me like an object and were concerned about my wellbeing… Do you not like me, Shirou?"

Lala's uncharacteristic timid words brought through Shirou's barrage of questions, and he even stepped back as if Lala's hurt expression felt like a physical jab.

Inwardly, Zastin couldn't help but praise Lala. He could tell that she wasn't just doing this to put an end to the forced meetings. She was genuinely interested in this servant called Shirou. And the boy himself showed genuine concern for her.

Therefore, he decided to make a final bet, so no one died that night. His hands moved faster than they did throughout his entire life on duty and turned on his communication device. In a matter of seconds, he tipped a quick report to their home planet, announcing that Lala had finally chosen a fianceé. A successor to the King that he himself genuinely deemed worthy.

"Ahem!" The armored alien coughed to get their attention and did his best to not show the tension building up in his body. "If that's the case, Princess Lala, then it is official! Shirou the servant class Saber from the Earth will be your husband, and the next successor of Sir Gid Lucione Deviluke!"

"Wait, you're actually a servant, Shirou! That's so cool!"

"That's not the case in point!" Zastin lost his breath as that piercing glare was pointed at him once again but did his best to not falter. "Why are you playing along!? Didn't you come to take her back!"

"That was because I wasn't aware of Princess Lala's decision. If you have any complaints, it's too late. I've already sent a message to my King, and he will be really mad if he discovers that you were playing with Lala's heart."

The sound of Shirou's teeth being grit could be heard clearly, but thanks to Lala's expecting look, he wasn't giving off that murderous aura. After a really long sigh, he finally answered.

"Fine, I'll play along with this… But first, I'm going to set some rules. Come to my room."

Both Lala and Zastin nodded, the former enthusiastically and the latter rather tense. Shirou jumped off the roof and entered his room through the window followed by the aliens…

But as fate might have it, the night was far from over…

"Onii-chan…"

The moment his eyes caught the little girl that just entered his bedroom and now looking at him and the aliens with utter confusion, he felt as if the world was falling on his head.

This was the thing he most wanted to avoid.

"Mmm! Space udon really fits the bill!" A certain blonde girl shouted in joy before continuing to stuff her mouth with noodles. She was wearing a blue and white tracksuit coupled with a matching scarf and a baseball cap that let a lonely ahoge through it.

"Especially after finally saving the universe from the Saber overpopulation and asserting my dominance as the superior Saber! C'mon, chief, bring the savior of the universe another bowl of udon!"

The man running the mobile stand threw the girl a look reserved for mentally ill people before humoring her. As long as she paid, he didn't care if this servant was completely delusional and went around calling herself Mysterious Heroine X instead of giving her real name.

*Beep Beep Beep*

Oblivious to the thoughts of the cook, X took a look at her wrist-shaped communication device after receiving a notification.

It had been a long time since she saw one of those after deciding to go solo in her endeavor to protect the universe, so she didn't know what to expect.

"Formal announce of Deviluke's new heir?"

Those seemed to be news spread by the general channel, but that name didn't ring a bell. Since she didn't have anything to do until the udon was ready, she took a look at the universal GPS to see where this 'Deviluke' planet was.

"That's… the Origin Universe?" That picked her interest. She didn't know the details, but for some reason, all the servants of the Blue Shining Galaxy avoided going there out of fear.

However, what she saw after continuing to read the article was what truly left her baffled.

'Shirou the servant class Saber from the Earth will be the husband of Lala Satalin Deviluke, and the next successor of Sir Gid Lucione Deviluke!'

"WHAT!? There's still a Saber I have yet to defeat!? This cannot be! I won't receive my reward if this article spreads!"

She threw a look around her hysterically, and all the people watching the scene she was causing backed up. That was actually due to the hysterical face she was making, but she took it as if they no longer believed she was their savior.

"This was just an oversight! I'll go there and pummel this Shirou guy real quick! Just wait and see!"

After proclaiming that, she jumped out of her seat and ran as fast as she could with her A+ rank agility to where she had parked her spaceship.

Once she disappeared, everyone continued with their lives as if that never happened. All but one cook who appeared from behind the stand.

"Wha- Hey, brat! Pay me before you go anywhere!"

And that's it for now. Yeah, I already said it when I was talking about writing this story, so I think it isn't a surprise it is taking place in the Servantverse. People who haven't played or read the F/GO event "Saber Wars II" might be a little bit lost, but the story will eventually explain what's the deal with the two parts of the universe.

Also, as for a question you might be asking yourself with this last scene, no, Mysterious Heroine X won't replace Yami. Their roles might seem the same on the surface, but while MHX will be her usual self, basically a comic relief, while Yami will have her character arc with a real killing machine as a senpai. However, X won't be the first servant to appear on Earth. The mysterious servant that was mentioned by Mikado will also appear.

Now, questions about the servantverse. This is basically taking place sometime after the first Saber Wars event started, and before the Saber Wars II and summer 3, where appears the grown-up Mysterious Heroine X. The timeline might be a little off since summer 3 is happening just after "Date a Density" ended, but I'll play the card of time being weird in the servantverse. It is canon that time flows in chapters and seasons instead of a regular calendar. And no, this MHX doesn't know King of Fakers. This is the original one, while the one at Chaldea is a copy of her saint graph registered by the FATE system. The same goes for MHX alter when she eventually appears.

Now, talking about the general direction of the story, Shirou's arc in this story, aside from the romance, would be what was established in this chapter. That is finding a direction for his life. This generally pacific world doesn't need an absolute monster, and now he got dragged by Lala and Zastin into pretending to be the former's husband under the threat of Earth being blown up. Basically, the status quo was shattered, so he will be forced to choose what he wants to do while he has to deal with a lot of bullshit.

And well, there's a clear final boss looming in the background. You'll get snippets of them later on.

With all that said, the views graphic has yet to be fixed when I'm writing this, so more than ever, I would like to know your thoughts on this project, and I hope I entertained you. Just as an idea, since this Earth is clearly not the same as the one back in the Fate timelines, including Tsukihime stuff as an in-between arc wouldn't be that farfetched.

My next update will be 'Absolute Demonic Front of Blades' returning to the usual, but I guess here is where I should drop the bomb. Just as I update this chapter, I'll be replacing Date a Live's prologue and chapter 1 with their rework. Aside from that, I'll live the preview of this story below this AN since I think not everyone got to read it, and it will help give some perspective to Lala's actions.

Hasta la vista!

"Lala-sama, please, stop resisting at once!"

"No! Let me go! I don't want to go back!"

That was it. Despite all her efforts, despite putting everything she had, she couldn't lose her pursuers. No matter how much she struggled with the immense strength she inherited from her father, it amounted to little in the face of the royal guards sent by him.

Things were looking so good when the local whose house she ended up actually didn't freak out and was willing to listen to her. She thought that the Earthlings were for the most part oblivious to what happened outside their planet, but the golden-eyed boy seemed to just want to know why she barged into his house rather than asking for proof that she was really an alien.

But right when she was about to explain her situation, a blunder of her own ended her dreams of escaping an arranged marriage. Her warping device get her out of their sight, but the same couldn't be said about the little robot she created to save the trouble of changing clothes, and they followed it right to where she was.

The green eyes of the princess hailing from a distant galaxy sent a hopeful look at the human called Yuuki Shirou, but she discarded that thought almost immediately.

She shouldn't involve a local in her personal problems. Even if the chances of ending up as one of the aliens that were never seen again after being brought into that so-called "Area 51" were abysmal, disrupting the peaceful lives of the locals would make her feel horrible.

But just when she was about to give up and bid farewell to the boy that had been willing to help her despite don't even knowing her…

"That's enough."

""Huh?""

Both royal guards clad in black tuxedos turned their heads to look in the direction that voice came. It seemed that they didn't even register Shirou's presence due to their tunnel vision after finally finding the pink-haired princess.

And that caused the closest guard to him to not be able to react in time as a barefoot hit him square on his face.

Those were six-foot tall mans with well-defined bodies, selected by her father himself to protect her, but he was blown away like a rag doll through the window they used to get into the room.

It was the perfect chance for her to escape as the other guard turned to look in the direction in which his comrade flew completely bewildered, but she was left awestruck as well. Humans shouldn't have a kick force similar to a speeding truck, should they?

Fortunately for her, the auburn-haired boy landed right between her and the other royal guard, prompting the latter to retreat a couple of steps and reevaluate the situation.

"This is none of your business, kid. Step aside and I'll overlook your sudden attack on a royal guard of Deviluke."

"Oh, but this became my business the moment you broke through my window in a literal sense, so I'm exerting my right as the owner of this property to kick out undesired guests. Besides…"

To their surprise… and absolute confusion, the boy brought out a measuring tape and extended it with utmost confidence.

"I don't need a reason to help someone in need."

Lala's heart skipped a beat. For a moment, the back of the boy seemed really gallant in her eyes, like that of a shining knight coming to rescue a princess in a fairy tale…

But him wielding a measuring tape of all things as a weapon ruined the heroic image the next moment. Even so, those words filled with resolve really got to her.

Meanwhile, the alien in black clicked his tongue and pulled out what looked like an extendable baton.

The man didn't take him seriously after that. He thought that he was just a delirious teenager that the princess brought into this mess and that the first attack must have been a lucky break.

"Well, I warned you boy. This will hurt quite a lot, but when you wake up, you won't remember anything."

"Heh, we'll see about that."

That taunt was the icing on the cake, and the bulky alien just played into his hands.

"Wait, Shirou-"

Lala's worried voice went completely ignored as the guard attacked Shirou. He was fast, so fast that he would have been a blur to the human eye. But if you saw through that, it was a completely telegraphed attack to take Shirou out with a direct hit on his head.

A clanging sound left the two aliens surprised once again. Not only did Shirou react in time to block the incoming attack, but the seemingly harmless measure tape resisted the attack without problems.

"Wha-"

The royal guard then realized that he had been outplayed, but it was too late. The human quickly wrapped the tape around the baton, allowing him to step into the alien's guard and drive his elbow into his solar plexus.

Again, the strength behind the blow was abnormal, knocking the air out of the alien's lungs and leaving him completely defenseless for a follow-up right behind his neck, knocking him unconscious.

Lala found herself blinking to process what just happened. It happened so fast that the alien was already down when she finished warning Shirou. And the boy seemed completely unfazed as if what he just did was as casual as doing the chores of the house.

"That should buy us some time so you can explain to me what's the deal with these guys… Wait, you aren't going to tell me they are here to invade Earth and you came here to warn us, right?"

The way in which he said it as if that were just a hassle instead of a really big concern just augmented the princess's confusion.

Just… who was this boy that she happened to meet by chance?

Fortunately, his misunderstanding of her situation helped her to pull herself together and answer.

"No, nothing like that. You see, I-"

But she never got to finish as his face suddenly turned dead serious and his body tensed up as if he was expecting another attack. After it didn't come in the next few seconds, he finally looked through the damaged window.

"That was a lot quicker than I expected… And this alien is no pushover like those guys… That's easily the level of a superior dead apostle, or even a servant. Wait here while I deal with them, Lala."

After those cryptic words, the boy's casual clothes were replaced by a black combat suit with a red cloak over it… that appeared out of nowhere, and he jumped out of the window.

She was left in silence, without knowing how to react. After a long chase throughout the galaxy, this was too much for her brain to process in the span of a minute.

"Lala-sama, this is not the moment to space out!" The artificial voice of her robot creating her clothes finally manage to bring her out of her stupor.

That and the constant sounds of steel clashing that came from the roof of the house, which honestly was quite concerning.

"Judging by the description Shirou-sama gave, he must have been referring to Zastin-sama!"

That realization hit her like a truck. The captain of the royal guard, and basically her father's right hand. Shirou might have been able to defeat those guards, but there was no way he could defeat a man that had been present in the many wars waged to consolidate Deviluke's rule over the galaxy.

"Shirou!" Her body moved before she could think, and she jumped out the window to climb to the roof.

She was in such a rush that she didn't even stop to see the situation before shouting at the top of her lungs.

"Zastin, stop! Don't hurt Shirou! He's… he's my fiancé!"

Silence followed her words, and she slowly opened her eyes to see if that worked… only to stumble into another confusing situation.

Zastin, a gallant male clad in grey armor and wielding a sword emitting green light, was indeed immobile. However, his body was completely rigid, and his face had been completely pale as if he saw death coming before he turned to look at her with a baffled face.

On the other hand, Shirou's bare hand stopped inches from the alien's chest as he turned to look at her with an equally astonished expression.

"WHAT!?"
