Chapter 2
The young blond arrived at his small apartment. While it wasn't uncommon for students to live on their own, most students that did, they came from wealthy families. However, with no information on Naruto, nobody knew how he afforded it. As he entered through his living room, Naruto was met by his pet fox, named Kurama. "Hi,Kurama. Did you have a good day?" Naruto asked as he picked up the female vixen, and she sat on his shoulder.
"It's boring. I wish I could do more than just lay around all day, inside the house." Kurama muttered, revealing that she could speak.
"I know. But with the situation, you understand why it's like this, don't you?" Naruto asked, only to receive a nod. "Good girl, now. How does some ramen sound?" Naruto asked as the vixen purred in excitement. While he was cooking the two of them a cup of instant ramen, the air suddenly became cold. This caught the blond's attention as he instantly drew out his knife that had strange kanji's on the handle, with three prongs.
"It seems there is a fallen one around." Kurama muttered.
"But why? There shouldn't be any issues between the fallen angels and humans." Naruto said.
"It seems things are off. Let's go check it out." Kurama said as she merged herself into Naruto's arm, showing the tattoo for a fox.
Naruto agreed silently as he exited his apartment. It was in the dead of night, not a single light was on, nor could a sound be heard.
However, after focusing his senses, Naruto managed to locate the fallen angel.
Across town, a boy with blond hair, similar to Naruto. He was being engaged by the fallen angel. The angel had blond hair, and wore a white skirt, with high white socks, along with a black overcoat. In her hand, she had a pink sphere that was capable of killing devils, along with a set of wings to help her fly. The boy being cornered was Genshirou Saji, another second year student that NAruto remembered seeing his document on Sona's desk.
"Hey, what's going on, Mittelt? I thought we were on a date?" Asked Genshirou.
"Haha, why would anyone want to date you? You're loud, obnoxious, and you're a pervert. Anyway, I'm just tired of you and I think I'm going to kill you." Said the fallen angel identified as Mittelt. She went to strike, only to find the three pronged kunai before her, and a yellow flash appear.
"Sorry, but I'm not going to let you kill him." Naruto said in a stern tone.
"Huh? Who are you?" Mittelt asked, as she narrowed her eyes at the blond.
"They call me the Yellow Flash. Do you know why?" NAruto asked as he picked up the kunai and got into his stance. "Because that's the
last thing my enemies see before they drop dead." Naruto said in a cold tone, that even made the fallen angel scoot back. He flicked the kunai at lightning fast speeds and palmed the fallen angel's chest with a mysterious, blue orb.
Mittelt screamed out in pain from the assault. "You bastard! What is that? What did you do to me?" Screamed the woman.
"It's called the Rasengan. It's a form of energy known as chakra. By rotating it, and spinning it, I can give it as much power as I need.
Truthfully, it seemed I didn't add enough." Naruto said. However, the encounter was interupted by a familiar presence, earning a sigh from Naruto.
"Naruto? Huh, Genshirou? What is going on?" Sona asked as she looked at the two.
"We can talk later. I'm going to deal with this fallen angel." Naruto said.
"Wait, that's Mittelt. She isn't to be taken lightly. You'll need my help." Sona said, only to be ignored by the long as he flicked his kunai, making the seal of the ram. This multipled the kunai by three, and to bring on more surprises, Naruto appeared alongside two others, right before the fallen angel. In that instant, all three of them connected their rasengan into the body of Mittelt, killing them almost instantly.
"What the hell is going on?" Genshirou asked as he looked at the sight before him. Sona realized that Mittelt was going to kill him. She decided to play it safe by erasing the boy's memories, so there wouldn't be any conflict.
"Alright, she's been defeated." NAruto said.
"My place, now." Sona said in a stern tone that Naruto knew was serious. Tsubaki appeared on a pentagram and vanished once she received the orders from Sona.
Inside of Sona's mansion, the two of them sat inside of her own personal office, across a large wooden table. Two glasses were set in between, along with a bottle of whiskey. Neither of them said a word, and while Sona decided to pour the two of them a drink,
Naruto was casually spinning his kunai. "So, what the hell was that?" Sona asked.
"Is Miss student president using foul language against another student?" Naruto asked in a mocking tone.
"I knew something was off about you. Now, what is it? Tell me the truth." Sona said as glared at the blond.
This caused Naruto to frown. "Alright, I guess it's only right since the cat is out of the bag. You're right, up until two months ago, I didn't exist. That's because I came from another world." Naruto began to explain.
"Another world? What are you talking about?" Sona asked.
"I'm from what is known as the elemental nations. You see, a few years back, we were attacked. At first, I had reason to suspect that it was enemy villages declaring the fourth great shinobi world war.
That idea went out the window when we noticed that it wasn't ninja attacking, but divine creatures. Later, I soon learned about the fallen angels and decided that it was up to me, to stop them." Naruto continued explaining, earning a nod from Sona to continue on.
"My friends, my teammates, my teachers, and everyone that I hold dear to me was killed. The five great shinobi nations were destroyed by them. During the last confrontation, Kurama and I decided to work together, alongside the other tailed beast. Using all their chakra, and ninety percent of Kurama's chakra, we were able to create a portal for me to escape. When I arrived, I instantly began preparing myself because I felt the presence of the fallen angels in this world." Naruto said.
"I see. That explains everything. But what I want to know, how were you able to defeat someone like Mittelt? She wasn't an ordinary fallen angel." Sona asked.
"The first jutsu you saw, it's called the shadow clone shuriken, and by extension, the shadow clone jutsu. I'm able to use my chakra to create carbon copies of myself. During the transportation between dimensions, I lost most of my chakra. In fact, I'm only at about twenty percent of what I used to be at. The next you saw the Hiraishin, or Flying Thunder God. It's a time space jutsu that allows me to jump through time and space. Finally, the last thing you saw was the rasengan. I developed it out of pure chakra due to the fallen angels being unable to counter it with their own magic." Naruto explained.
"You're saying that you're only at twenty percent? But you defeated her like it was nothing, along with protecting Genshirou. Naruto, how strong are you?" Sona asked, as her expression softend.
"Let's just say, I've been titled as a flee on sight target in my world. Of course, it doesn't mean much at this point. But yeah." Naruto said, giving a slight laugh.
"Why did you come to Kuoh academy? Clearly I'm missing something." Sona said as she readjusted her glasses.
"During my time of research, I learned that the devils were the eternal enemies of the fallen angels. It wasn't a big surprise that Kuoh academy had a few clubs that the members were highly dedicated to. So, I decided that I'd enroll in order to make an alliance with them. Because from what I learned, you guys hate them as much as me." Naruto explained.
"Yes. That would be a correct statement. Naruto, I was planning to give Genshirou four of my evil pieces. However, he needed to die first. I'm willing to make a deal with you." Sona said.
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "What kind of deal?" Naruto asked as he was looking into the serious violet eyes of Sona.
"By becoming a devil, you'll remain eternally young, or in your prime for life. Of course, you aren't immortal, and can still be killed. But you'll be greatly enhanced in all your characteristics. In exchange for that, you will agree to become my servant, and serve me inside my peerage." Sona said.
"How do I become a devil?" Naruto asked.
"That's easy. You must die." Sona said in her deadpan tone, causing Naruto to mentally wince. "I know it sounds strange, and I don't expect you to trust someone you've just met. But it will certainly better prepare you." Sona said.
"Give me a second, I need to speak with Kurama." Naruto said as he made the half ram seal, releasing Kurama from his arm. "Kurama,
what do you think about this?" Naruto asked, ignoring the shocked look at Sona who jumped back.
"Settle down, little girl. I'm not your enemy. At least, you don't want me to be. Now, Naruto. I don't detect any malicious motives from the girl. However, there is something you must know. When you die, my soul is released from yours, and I'll be brought back to the elemental nations." Kurama explained.
"What? Then no way. I'm not sending you back there. We're a team!" Naruto declared, losing his cool composure. This didn't go unnoticed by Sona.
"Shut up, Gaki. This is a new chance at you to have a life where your friends won't be dead. You may even find love, real love." Kurama said in a sad tone, causing Naruto's eyes to become shadowed.
"Kurama, you're my best friend… I've already lost so much." Naruto said.
"I know, kit. But I promise you, it will all be alright. Take the deal, and become known as the Yellow Flash amoung the devils." Kurama said as she wrapped her nine tails around the blond, hugging him tightly. "Woman, I expect you to watch over him. While I don't particularly care for humans, I've learned to like this one. If I learn that anything has happened to him, not even Lucifer will keep me away from bringing hell to this world." Kurama said.
Sona nodded. "I assure you, Naruto will be in good hands." Sona said.
"Alright. Naruto, I'm going to release myself from you. Because you're a Jinchuriki, you will die. I have no reason to believe this girl is being malicious and I know she will revive you." Kurama said, as a tear fell from her eyes.
"Thanks, Kurama. No matter what, I'll never forget you." Naruto said as his body began to glow red, and the form of Kurama started to vanish. As quickly as it started, Naruto dropped to the ground, with his chakra being completetly drain from his body.
"What the hell? No way… Okay, I don't have time. She'll understand, I hope." Sona thought as she began using her magic to revive the young blond. "I, Sona Sitri, of the Sitri House will give you a chance to live, and purpose to live. Live for me, and serve me." Sona said, and slowly, the blond began to regain his breathing.
"I accept your conditions." Naruto said in a low tone. When everything settled down, Naruto instantly flicked his three kunai, striking the three flies that entered through the open window. "What happened?" Naruto asked as he looked at the girl.
"Naruto, you're a devil. Your senses have been greatly enhanced, not to mention. I believe Kurama gave you a parting gift." Sona said as she pointed at Naruto's new tattoo.
"I see. So, she gave me the last bit of her power." Naruto said as he closed his eyes, to prevent the tears from falling.
"Naruto, there is much we need to discuss. Things suddenly turned differently, and I believe you should be aware." Sona said, sitting back down as she poured the two of them another drink. "I originally was going to make you into a pawn, a fairly decent pawn with four pieces. However, it seemed that in attempt at reviving you, the only pieces I could give you, were my mutated queen. The chess game we played, it was piece from that set.
Not only are you signifigantly more powerful, you've become my right hand. Tsubaki will be upset that you took her spot, but it was either that, become the king yourself from your power, or die. I made a promise to Kurama that you would be in good hands. Naruto, you're officially the vice president of the student council." Sona said.
"I don't really care about any of that. But as I also promised. I will serve you and remain loyal to my master." Naruto said.
"Good. Naruto, I want you to live her in the Sitri manner." Sona said, catching the blond off guard.
"What for? Don't you think your parents will find that weird, that you have a guy from school living with you?" Naruto asked.
"In case you haven't noticed, I'm the only one here. My father recently came down with the sleep disease, causing him to sleep for eternally. I'm now the head of the Sitri clan. My mother is currently away, and so. This house is mine. The other members of the group, Momo Hanakai, and Reya Kusaka, they're the bishops. Tomoe Meguri is my knight, Tsubasa Yura, she's my rook. Now, Tsubaki is my second knight. This leaves me with needing pawns and one more rook. You, Naruto. You're the queen of my peerage." Sona said.
"Alright. Well, I guess I'll go ahead and contact my land lord tomorrow about needing to move. I paid up six months in advance, so it shouldn't be a problem." Naruto said.
"Good. Now the layout of the mansion is simple. On the first floor, there is the kitchen, dining room, and common area, along with the
library. You can also access the training field in the back. The second floor is where the bedrooms are. Each room has their own bathroom to it, along with everything you will need. The third floor is where all business related activities take place, such as where we are now." Sona explained.
"Well, I was a slave in my past life. So it isn't anything new." Naruto said, giving an easy expression, but still showing a bit of sadness and regret for the loss of his friend.
"Naruto. Don't get the wrong idea. You may be my servant, but it's only a term for us devils. In my peerage, I treat those involved as my friends. While it may be hard to believe, I care about my friends, and will do everything in my power to always protect you." Sona said, earning a surprised look from the blond.
"I see. Well, thank you. It's nice to know that someone values me." Naruto said, giving a friendly smile, before standing up. "Is there a particular room that I'm assigned, or can I pick for myself?" Naruto asked.
"You may choose which everyone you would like. But would you like to proceed to your apartment, and get all your stuff?" Sona asked.
"No, that's okay. I keep everything of mine that has value inside my storage scroll." Naruto said as he pulled the scroll out.
"Interesting. We have forms of doing similar things with our magic." Sona commented, giving a slight smile to the blond.
"In the elemental nations, we call it fuinjutsu. We use seals, and it just so happens that my both my parents were seal masters, along with my mother's clan being wiped out because of how skilled they were with seals. In fact, my Hiraishin, is the result of advanced fuinjutsu, and my rasengan doesn't use any seals." Naruto explained.
"Maybe one of these days you can demonstrate to me how these seals work." Sona said, giving a more friendly smile that earned her a nod.
"Sounds good. Oh, and I'm not calling you president or any official name. Not even master. Kurama tried that, and well, let's just say that she learned quickly that Naruto Namikaze is a free spirit."
Naruto declared as he proceeded out the room, missing the silent chuckle that Sona let out.
"Well, tomorrow is certainly going to be interesting. I wonder how well Naruto would do with all the paperwork. Tsubaki seemed to hate it, but never fought it. Then again, she did often get behind. Oh well, I'm going to shower." Sona said as she got up from her desk, and exited her office.
