"Minato all the villages have arrived, but what should we do about Orochimaru" Jiraiya asked as he sat in front of the the 4th hokage Minato Namikaze. "Well we dont know how much force he has, but it cant be much considering he only registered 1 team for the exams. However his plan must revolve around having Kumo, Iwa, and Kiri joining forces with them"Minato replied sighing as he rested on his desk. "Knowing Iwa there is a high chance they could join up with him. Should we hold a meeting between all 5 of the major villages" Jiraiya asked. "We have Suna on our side for sure, though if we inform them they might go to Orochimaru of their free will" Minato responded. "So we leave them clueless" Jiraiya questioned. "Yes, its our only choice. Though we must inform all shinobi other then the trators we have identified" Minato told him. "Ok we will schedule a meeting and inform all shinobi to be in the village" Jiraiya said.

"The exams will start soon, be ready" Naruto told Hinata and Shikamaru sternly. "Naruto we know, you dont have to be so annoyed all the time" Shikamaru replied rubbing his head. Naruto didnt respond to the comment as they all nodded as they entered the academy. As they walked to the second floor they witnessed people fighting some disguised Chunin to enter a random room that was disguised as the exam room using a simple genjutsu. "How has the caliber of shinobi dropped this low" Naruto whispered for only Hinata and Shikamaru to hear. "Even I think that is to pathetic, they can at least count the floors" Hinata nodded sighing in dissapointment. As they entered the entrance to the next floor they found to kids fighting one with black hair and one wearing a green spandex. The three triplets watched the fight play out. "Interesting" Naruto said as he stared at Lee. "He seems skilled in Taijutsu"Shikamaru said as they watched the fight play out. Soon Lee's sensei stopped the fight as he transformed from being a turtle. "LEE DONT USE THAT TECHNIQUE" A older version of Lee said transforming from a turtle. "Im sorry Gai sensei, as punishment I will do 200 push-ups as punishment for using my techniques immaturely" Lee said. "The youth of this generation has really sprouted" Lee's sensei said as he went to hug Lee.

A sunset background appeared as Lee and his sensei cried tears of joy. "Kai" Naruto heard Shikamaru say under his breath. "STOP THIS UGLY SCENE" Naruto could hear Kenpachi say in the back of his mind. He chuckled at the thought as by the time he snapped out of his thoughts everyone had left. "Well lets get going"Hinata said as they climbed the stairs arriving at their destination. They entered the classroom as the smallest KI any of them had ever felt was directed at them. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Hinata just sat down and converesed silently.

"Well looks LIKE ALL THE ROOKIE 9 are back together" a boy smelling of dogs shouted to the top of his lungs as he entered the room. "So loud" he heard Shikamaru whisper under his breath. Naruto agreed they were being to naive, to bring all the attention towards them and it seems others noticed too. "You all should not be so loud, there are many dangerous people here" a silver haired boy with glasses told the rookie 9. "Why exactly should we care" Menma said being the arrogant son of the hokage. "Well as a fellow leaf genin that has taken the chunin exams multiple times, I have info on most of the people here so I will give it to you" Kabuto told them. "Give us info about Rock Lee, Subaku no Gaara, and Yuki Naruto" Sasuke asked smugly walking up to Kabuto. "Rock Lee has been a genin for a year and is on a team with Hyuga Neji and Higurashi Tenten. His sensei is Might Guy and he specializes in Taijutsu. He has very low chakra levels so his only devoloped skill is Taijutsu though he is very good in it. He has completed 56 D ranks and 15 C ranks" Kabuto finished reading off the card about Rock Lee. "Impressive" Mito said as she listened to Kabuto. Menma and Narumi nodded knowing Might Guy's training methods. "Subaku No Gaara graduated the academy 3 years early so he is 10 and has been a genin for a year. His teammates are his siblings Subaku no Temari and Subaku no Kankuro. His sensei is a Suna Jonin named Baki. He has very strong ninjutsu though it doesnt specify much other then that. He has completed 13 D ranks, 30 C Ranks, and a B rank. He has never been injured on any of the missions either" Kabuto said staring at Gaara in fear. Everyone stared at him in awe as he glared at Kabuto for spreading info about him. Though he didnt attack Kabuto either. "Finally Yuki Naruto" Kabuto said staring at the card. "Its blank" He asked himself as he repeated himself to everyone. Everyone stared at Naruto confused but just shrugged it off. "Overall all 5 major villages are in this exam, but other then that are other small villages like Oto that you dont need to worry about"Kabuto said, but suddenly was attacked. Kabuto barely dodged but suddenly his glasses broke as he started puking. "What the heck"Ino said wearily. "DONT EVER DISRESPECT Oto ever again you hear you worm" a sound genin said as he kicked Kabuto in the face.

"Stop right there" a strict voice said behind the genin as everyone turned around. He let out so much killing intent that only Naruto, Shikamaru, Hinata, Gaara, Menma, Mito, Narumi, and a few others werent shaking in their boots. "Do you want Oto to be disqualified from this years exams" the man asked the sound genin in an annoyed tone. "No sir" The genin replied as everyone took their seats. "Good, now everyone welcome to the annual Chunin exams. This is the first exam which will be a written exam" the man said as he pulled up a chart for seating. Naruto moved to the seat he was assigned checking who was next to him. "Haku-chan" He said his cheeks flushing a subtle red. From a while away you could hear Hinata say something"Your so obvious aniki". "Hi Naruto" Haku said her cheeks also flushing slightly red. They both chatted as Ibiki passed the papers around.

"Now if I catch any of you cheating you get a strike, three strikes and your kicked out" Ibiki yelled as he motioned for the genin to start. The questions were almost too easy for Naruto and he knew Hinata and Shikamaru were easily answering them as well. He had come to the last question of the test so he just started playing with a kunai. He knew the meaning of the test was to cheat and their were most likely spies, but the test was just too easy so why cheat. He saw Shikamaru and Hinata and Haku were all done so him and Haku just talked in sign language under the table.

"Now we are at the 10th question of this exam, there are a few conditions for this question so listen carefully. First if you take this question and get it wrong you can NEVER take the genin exams again so you will forever be a genin. You can leave now if you want to take the genin exams nexxt year, but arent sure about passing the questions" Ibiki told everyone. Most of the weak genin immedietely left while others slowly filed out in defeat. At one point he saw a pink haired girl almost raise her hand but was glared at by her teammates so she put it back down. "Well it looks like all of you that stayed, stayes so you pass" Ibiki said. "WHAT" A blande haired Suna genin asked in disbeleif. Ibiki explained the meaning of the exam as mostly KIba and Temari shouted at him for the dumb test.

As Ibiki was explaining the window crashed open as a purple haired kunoichi jumped through. "I am the sexy and single Anko Mitarashi" she shouted as the genin all cringed at the volume. As she swayed her hips she walked towards Menma knowing he was the hokage's son. "Ooh looks like we have a fine shinobi right here" she said as she tried to seduce him. His cheeks flushed red as some blood rushed from his nose. "S-Stop" he stuttered out. "Oh but your face shows otherwise" Anko pouted. "Anko stop antagonizing the genin" Ibiki sighed. "Aww but its fun" Anko whined as she stood up walking towards the front of the classroom. "Looks like youve grown soft Ibiki, there are still 26 teams left" Anko smirked. "Its a pretty tough batch this year" Ibiki replied. "Well it doesnt matter my test will break all of their willpower" Anko said smiling sadistically. Some of the genin shivered while others smirked, but one thing was going through all the genin's head. Who the hell is she? "Oh I forgot to introduce myself. I am the second proctor, everyone meet at training ground 48 or the forest of death. Bye" She said cheerfully disappearing. The genin quickly left until it was only Naruto, Shikamaru, and Hinata left in the room.

"How much should we show" Naruto asked. "We have to appear strong, but not show all our abilities. Maybe Low Chunin level" Shikamaru responded. "How do we deal with Kabuto. He had too much info about us, luckily I swapped out the card " Naruto asked. "We could kill him before he gets to the training ground" Hinata said. "He seems to also be hiding his abilities" Shikamaru schemed. "We can corner and kill him" Naruto told Hinata. "Lets kill him after the preliminaries" Shikamaru said. "There might not be preliminaries" Naruto responded. "There is a high chance there will be, since I have pinpointed at least 12 teams of interest since we have gotten here" he replied. "Ok we will keep our eyes out, lets go" Naruto nodded. They all shunshinned away arrving in front of the training ground with only the Suna team their.

After about 30 minutes all the teams seemed to arrive. "Ok now that all of you are here I will start going over the instructions" Anko said as she picked up two scrolls. "Now this is the the forest of death, all of you will enter with either a heaven or earth scroll and will have too get the other using as much force as needed. There will be a tower in the middle of the forest, which is where you will go once you have both scrolls. DO NOT OPEN the scrolls, otherwise you will be disqualified" Anko said grinning. The genin nodded as they all got their scrolls to start the exam.

"Looks like we got a heaven scroll" Shikamaru said as they reached the gate for their exam. "So we need to get an earth scroll" Hinata said her eyes hardening. Naruto just stared into the forest, feeling an air of similarity with the forest. "I guess your mokuton element must be acting up" Shikamaru said as he stared at Naruto's calm demeanor. The thing is Naruto was always stoic but never calm like this. He looked like he was finally at peace. "Ok GENIN GET READY 3,2,1 GO" Anko voice cut through their thoughts as they bolted into the forest.

1. Im back! The update schedule for my Naruto fics will be very inconsistent so dont expect much though note that they arent discontinured unless I directly say that I will stop updating. They will just have slow update processes.

2. Also I have 3 new story ideas so I would like to know which one you guys would prefer first the first one is a story about hunter x hunter and already has 3 written chapters though it could be just uploaded once its finished since its just a fun project I thought of about Gon and Killua in the phantom troupe, the next oneis a ending idea so a bunch of chapters for someone elses story the story is called Perfection though I am still asking permission so that one will take a while to get chapters, the last one is a digimon fic about Digimon 03 of sorts with a few changes. So just message me if you would like to see any of those soon. Just note the Hunter x Hunter one is the only one that will come out any time soon if you guys want it!

3. Hinata and Gaara will start having interactions soon and Shikamaru wont meet Yugito until the akatsuki arc cause I already have so many different characters to include and I have a good way to implement her into the story during the akatsuki arc.

4. I also want to say that Utakata, Roshi, and Han will have stay in Kiri and Iwa so their will be more in depth about how they will get captured or even if they will get captured!
