In Zeus's room, Zeus, Huitzilopochtli, and the Morrigan sisters sat in silence after humanity claimed their second victory.
"Two victories. The humans have two victories?" The Aztec war god says in disbelief.
Zeus takes a slip of tea and replies, "There's no point getting sore at the result. Those humans merely have stronger wills than we assumed. That's all there is."
Badb sighs as she twirls her knife.
"I hate to admit it, but they are quite vexing to kill off."
Nemain growls, "At this rate, those fools could even...beat us!"
"Then I won't allow that to happen," Amaterasu's voice alerted the other gods.
Amaterasu steps into the room in new attire. She has her long black hair tied in a ponytail and wears a sleeveless white kosode, gloveless yoroi arm bracers, tucked red hakama, white and red shin greaves, and studded kegutsu.
Huitzilopochtli whistled, "Well, look who's ready for a fight."
Amaterasu scoffs, "Save me your empty words. Lord Zeus, if I may, allow me to fight to this round. I will make sure humanity tastes the agony of defeat!"
Huitzilopochtli shot up and yelled, "No way! I've missed out on both rounds 2 and 4. If anything, I get a crack at the next human!"
The sun kami laughed, "You? You're too thickheaded for any human to be defeated. I bet Ada went run circle around you."
Huitzilopochtli retorts, "Saids the goddess who ran away from her duty due to her dipshit brother!"
"Enough!" Zeus yelled as he got the two chief gods' attention
"Who goes next doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that we win."
"I couldn't agree with you more, Zeus." A new voice joined in.
Entering a room is an elderly yet well-stature man with golden eyes and a tattoo on his right eye. He wears a rich yellow waistcoat with an ankh brooch, a black shirt, an orange vest, sleek black slacks, and smooth leather shoes.
Egyptian Chief God and God of Sun
Ra (Egypt)
Zeus laughs, "Ra, my old friend, what brings you here in these dire times?"
Ra said, "I couldn't help but see such sour faces. So I am here to grant us a guaranteed victory for round five."
Huitzilopochtli scoffs, "So you're gonna fight then."
Ra chuckled amusingly, "Ohohoho, no. I'm not as battle ready as I used to be. But I know who can. Come in, sweetie!"
The doors in Zeus's room burst off their hinges in an instant.
A tall, imposing woman walks into the room. She has bronze skin, long maroon braided hair with gold hair cuffs, ghostly blue catlike eyes, pointed ears, bloody red lips, sharp fangs and claws, and a lion's tail.
She wears a red crisscross halter top, an ornate black shendyt, golden and ruby clawed gauntlets, woven buskins, and two serrated khopeshes sheathed behind her back.
The Egyptian Goddess of Battle and Fire
Heaven's Most Feared Inquisitor
Sekhmet (Egypt)
The gods feel the immense bloodlust emanating from Sekhmet.
"If anyone wants to punish those damn humans, I will do it happily," Sekhmet purred with murderous intent.
Zeus strokes his beard as he says, "How come you can do what my daughter and Sun Wukong failed to achieve, Sekhmet?"
Sekhmet laughed at the question, "Ha! No offense, Lord Zeus. But unlike Athena, I possessed the bloodlust to destroy those meat sacks. Like how I almost did a millennium ago."
Ra smiled with pride when his daughter punished the heretics and left cities to burn.
Zeus looks to Huitzilopochtli and Amaterasu.
"Well, are you two willing to wait a little longer?"
The two nodded reluctantly.
Zeus looks to Sekhmet and says in a serious tone.
"You must win this for us, Sekhmet. The gods' vengeance depends on you."
Sekhmet flashed her fangs as he said darkly, "Oh, trust me. I'll make sure my victim is betting for the sweet release of death!"
Nightfall is cast into the arena as the audience waits for the next match. Hachiman and Santa Muerte looked disinterested in the needless violence that was about to begin.
"Well, at any moment, more blood will be spilled as we speak," Hachiman stated with a hint of disgust.
"Si, even now, neither Hera, Brunhilde, or Zeus are willing to yield their orgullo." Santa Muerte while taking a quick sip from her flask.
The Shinto war god sighs, "I just hope this match end quickly."
Then the spotlight was on Heimdall; however, something was off. The watcher was visibly shaken as if he had witnessed a traumatizing event. His breathing was heavy, and his sweaty hand shakily grasped Gjallarhorn.
The humans and the gods wondered what was going on.
"Hey, is that god okay?"
"He seems scared for some reason."
"He looks as if he has seen a ghost."
"Hey! What the hell is wrong with ya?"
Heimdall sighs weakly, "To my fellow gods...I'm sorry."
The gods were confused by this. What does Heimdall mean by sorry?
He continued, "For Ragnarok: Round Five will not be for the faint of heart. For humanity's next representative...has nearly caused Heaven to collapse."
Then the light shines onto the arena to represent a new layout. The battleground took the form of a village but in a sinister way. The wooden building is run down, with some almost looking like it is on the verge of collapsing. The woods are filled with twisting, gnarling trees and a freezing lake. The fog creeps throughout the village with an unearthly chill. At the center of this village is a courthouse with a bell tower that stands ominously.
Heimdall gulps as he speaks, "This is the replica of 1692 Salem, Massachusetts. It is the hunting grounds of one of the most insidious humans that existed in colonial America!"
Then the gods recognized who Heimdall was referring to, and their hearts sank into unfathomable fear.
"N-no way."
"It can't be! She's locked up in Tartarus!"
"Don't tell me those valkyries are willing to bring her of all people!"
Before he could announce humanity's next fighter, he thought to himself.
'I'm usually indifferent towards humans and the gods. But for once, I'm siding with the gods on this one!'
"What horrors await us in round five! Now, representing humanity in round five is this demon!"
Then the gates of humanity burst open and unholy wails are heard within the arena. A black haze spews out of the entrance. Then walking out of the mist is a little girl with a pale complexion. She has on a Puritan black and white collared dress, red and black kneesocks, black hide buckle shoes, and a bonnet.
Heimdall begins to announce.
"The year was 1692. Salem was thrown into mass hysteria. As neighbors turn against neighbors and the deaths begin to increase, it was all orchestrated by this witch!"
As the girl makes her wake to the village, within the mist are the shadows of the tormented souls of the victims of the witch's lies.
"What causes this girl to desire chaos? Was it the failure of the adults to guide her? Was it the demons who corrupted her heart? Regardless of the reason, she caused torment across America until her dying breath. She even dares to wreak havoc across Heaven, despite being given a chance to redeem herself! She is known as The First Accuser and The Witch of Salem!"
As she entered the village, the spotlight shined on the little girl. The girl takes off her bonnet, revealing her long, ghostly white hair, white eyelashes, and scarlet red eyes.
"From the United States...ABIGAIL WILLIAMS!"
Abigail gave a sinister grin on her face.
Humanity's Fifth Representative
The Witch of Salem
Abigail Williams (United States)
At that moment, the gods tremble in fear as if this girl was the devil herself. The humans couldn't believe that the gods feared Abigail.
"I can't believe this witch is our next champion to represent us."
"Yeah. Are we really going to cheer for a witch?"
"I may have to side with the gods on this one."
While Zeus was looking at where his wife was, he whispered something under his breath.
"Hera, what have you unleashed?"
In the proxy village, Abigail took a deep breath and sighed happily.
"Ah, it's so good to be back! Tartarus was so boring."
She glances at Heimdall and waves.
"Oh! Hello again, Heimdall. Got yourself a new jaw, I see."
Heimdall looks away in disgust.
"Don't talk to me."
Abigail smirks, then she instantly gets close to Heimdall's face and crackles madly.
"I can talk to you when I feel like it, gnome. Now, do the only job your worthless hide is good at and send out my next victim."
Abigail walked away from the watcher with a smug expression.
Despite seething in anger, Heimdall took a deep breath as he knew that Abigail's opponent would show her what a real monster is.
"Now, her opponent representing the gods is this vicious monster!"
As the gods' gates opened, a mighty roar was heard out of the entrance.
Heimdall exclaimed excitingly, not hiding his bias against Abigail.
"It was the dawn of the reign of Ra. The people became self-indulgent over worshipping the will of the sun god. In response, Ra created a goddess that would bring unimaginable destruction!"
Within the gods' entrance, large glowing eyes showed through the darkness. Then a tall, flaming lioness runs out into the arena.
"This goddess left ruin in her wake. Her bloodlust was so immense that it threatened to destroy the human race! After being quelled by Zeus and Ra, her devotion to her pantheon earned in the position as the Heaven's Inquisitor!"
The flaming lion leaped into the air, and the lion reverted into Sekhmet. She landed in the village and stood with utter pride.
"Fighting for the gods, From Egypt! SEKHMET!"
The Gods' Fifth Representative
Egyptian Goddess of Battle/Fire
Sekhmet (Egypt)
As the match is about to go underway, Zeus said wearily.
"Here we go. We can't lose this round, no matter what."
As Sekhmet and Abigail glared at each other, Sekhmet sneered.
"So the old hag got you out of Tartarus only to die by my hands. It should be a blessing for you to die in the hands of such a great goddess as myself."
Abigail laughed at that notion.
"Die by you? My, it seems you gods haven't changed a bit. However, I can't say I'm thrilled to fight you."
Sekhmet smiled smugly, "Are you scared of me?"
Abigail huffed casually, "Hardly. I wanted to kill the god who put me in that wretched hell hole. But, since you're my opponent, I'll at least give you a painless death."
Sekhmet's smugness turns into anger as she hates the arrogance of the little witch.
"You little bitch!" Sekhmet growled as she unsheaths her khopeshes
Abigail grins as her red eyes glow, and her smile becomes freakishly wide.
Seeing this, Heimdall prepares for the match to begin.
"Ragnarok: A ultimate battle between humanity and the gods continues! In round five, It's Wrath vs. Depravity! Representing the human race, Abigail Williams! Representing the god, Sekhmet! Ready...Set...FIGHT!"
Wrath and Cruelty Clash!
Maelstrom of Chaos and Insanity will thrive!
