As Heimdall declared the fifth round to begin, Sekhmet waste no time rushing toward Abigail.
"You're mine!" Sekhmet yelled as she lunged into the air
Abigail looks up and raises her arms to beckon her to strike her down.
In one swift motion, Sekhmet cleaved the witch in half. Abigail's fell in opposite directions. With that, the gods cheered as Sekhmet slayed Abigail in one shot.
"W-wow! Abigail has been slain by Heaven's Inquisitor! This is the quickest win in Ragnarok's history!" Heimdall exclaimed
As humanity dispaired, Sekhmet sighed.
"Hey! I know what you're doing, and that won't work on me. Show yourself."
Then out of the shadows, Abigail emerged, clapping at her opponent.
"Oh! So you saw through my trick? Well done."
Then the 'corpse' of Abigail turned into a clew of worms.
"Of course! Once again, the cursed witch has deceived us with an illusion," Heimdall yelled with a hint of anger.
Sekhmet growls, "So is that how you're gonna fight me? With cheap tricks!"
Abigail smirks, "Ufu, what do you expect? I'm a witch, only a warrior. So yes, my cheap trick will put you down."
Sekhmet runs towards Abigail with a few strikes.
"Slow!"
"Predictable!"
"Sloppy!"
Abigail said as she effortlessly dodged those attacks, much to the lion goddess's anger.
As Sekhmet attacked simultaneously with her blades, they turned white hot.
Amon Maul: The Fangs That Scorched Egypt
Abigail jumped back as Sekhmet's attack caused the ground to erupt in magma in a 25-foot radius. As Abigail is about to fall into the lava, a flying bloom comes out of nowhere to save Abigail.
The witch sat on her broom and waved at Sekhmet. Sekhmet's nerve on her forehead twitches in frustration.
"You know, I really thought you would provide an inking of entertainment, but I guess I'm wrong," Abigail said with a smug grin.
Sekhmet leaps into the air to attack the witch, but Abigail's broom gets her out of dodge.
Sehkmet landed on her ground and huffed, "Damn that brat."
Meanwhile, Amaterasu glares at Ra and says, "I thought your daughter could handle it."
Ra scoffs, "Come yourself, dear Amaterasu. My daughter will not be a mindless animal. Just watch and learn."
Sekhmet knew she couldn't let her bloodlust cloud her judgment in the arena. She took a few breaths and looked at Abigail.
"So, witch. If you don't mind me asking, where's your Volund?"
Abigail raised an eyebrow at this more composed and said, "Why would I tell you?"
Sekhmet smirks, "Because I find your overconfidence adorable. It's one thing to chaos through your schemes and hexes. But that won't work here. So why don't you stop playing around and show me the power you think you have."
Abigail's smug expression turn into annoyance. Sekhmet grinned as she knew she was under Abigail's skin.
"Fine then. I'll reduce myself to your level." Abigail said as the broom lowered her to the ground.
Once she is off the broom, Abigail grabs it, and it morphs into a large, curved scythe.
"A-A scythe?" One human said
"Oh, how insidious!"
"Heh, kinda fitting for her."
Abigail gave her volund a quick twirl and asked Sekhmet, "I hope you got what you want because I'm going tear you piece by piece."
Sekhmet maliciously grinned as she readied for Abigail.
"Come on!"
Abigail prepared to attack but then turned around and ran away from the battle. The crowd was speechless, and Sekhmet was bewildered. Abigail entered a tavern and closed the door.
One of Sekhmet's eyes twitched, and her face twisted into a demonic rage.
"COME BACK HERE!"
Sekhmet ran towards the pub and ripped the door off its hinges. Inside, Abigail is sitting at a table eating a slice of pie.
"What are you doing, brat?" Sekhmet questioned
Abigail smiles, "Me? Silly, I'm eating cheddar apple pie. A nice fellow from London told me about this dessert. At first, I thought it was disgusting, but the flavor was so divine."
Abigail grabs a knife, cuts off a piece, and puts it on another plate.
The witch stuck out the plate to Sekhmet and asked, "Would you like to partake dear kitty?"
Sekhmet growls as she walks into and soon stands over Abigail.
"No," Sekhmet darkly said as she prepared to strike down Abigail.
"A pity," Abigail replied as she vanished before Sekhmet could attack.
Sekhmet storms out of the tavern, looking for Abigail. Little did she realize; Abigail was standing above the building with a giant boulder. Abigail gently taps the boulder, and it begins to fall toward the lion goddess.
"It's a trap!" Heimdall exclaimed
Sekhmet turned around, and the boulder smashed into pieces without a bruise on her body.
"Oh," Abigail cooed.
Sekmhet growled, "You really are a fool. Human weapons and tricks can't hurt a god! Did those stupid valkyries tell you that?!"
Abigail raised her hands as she shrugged.
"Well, I just wanted to be sure, that's all. After all, it's better to know your strengths and weaknesses. Am I right, Sekhmet?" Abigail said, looking down at the lion goddess.
Sekhmet didn't respond, instead; she leaped to bare her blades into Abigail. Abigail snickers as she swings her scythe to block the attacks. However, Sekhmet's strength cleaved the scythe in half, much to the shock of everyone.
"I...I don't believe it! Sekhmet manages to destroy Abigail's volund. Could Williams's luck finally run out?" Heimdall declared as he got to a vantage point.
The humans from the audience were horrified to see Abigail's volund being broken.
As Sekhmet landed on the roof, she smirked at the witch.
"Well, it seems we're out of tricks, brat! Any last words?"
Then Abigail's smile menacingly stretches as she says, "Just one..."
Suddenly, black smog seeped out of Abigail's mouth as she spoke.
"$pLîи†эя!"
Then Sekhmet bellowed in pain as a piece of wood from the roof shot up into Sekhmet's right calf. Ra and the gods gasped as the shard embedded further into Sekhmet's leg.
"By the gods! Sekhmet is struck, not by Abigail's Scythe but by the wood from the roof!" Exclaimed Heimdall
Sekhmet removed the bloody stake from her leg and dropped to one knee.
"H-how is this possible?!" Sekhmet gasped angrily
Abigail couldn't help but laugh at that question.
"Oh dear, you can't be this incompetent, right? Didn't the gods tell you? You see, I'm a filthy liar. My statement that my scythe was my volund was false."
"Then what is your volund!" Sekhmet demanded.
Abigail clicks her tongue while wagging her finger at her opponent.
"Now, now, let's not rush. After all, you wanted this, right?"
Meanwhile, Goll looked frightened at what she was witnessing and asked Hera, "Lady Hera, I-I don't understand. Why did you choose Abigail of all people?"
Hera smirks, "Tell me, valkyrie. What is humanity's most dangerous trait?"
Goll then notices the humanity cheering Abigail.
"Yeah! We have a chance to win this!"
"Slay her, Abigail!"
"Win this one!"
Goll then sees Hera madly grinning as she yelled, "IT'S CRUELTY!"
"No matter how much wrath is within the gods, mankind's cruel nature far surpasses it!"
Back at the battleground, Abigail's head unnaturally tilts as she says with a cruel grin.
"Now then, inquisitor. Let us continue with your crucible."
