Heimdall descends from his vantage point to check out the church ruin.

"Oh my gods! H-hello? Can anyone hear me?"

There was no response until something stirred from the wreckage. Long umbral limbs poke out and move the debris. Slowly emerging is a wounded Abigail. She holds her neck wound as she stumbles out of the remains.

"A-Abigail has returned from the depths of hell! Is this the end of Heaven's most feared Inquisitor?!"

On the human side of the arena, La Voisin laughed.

"Oh my! You gave your neck in exchange for the vampire queen drinking the witch's blood and poisoning her in the process. Bien joué, Abigail!"

Betty looked at La Voisin and asked, "Wait? What do you by poison?"

"You see, child. Blood from a witch like me and La Voisin from highly toxic to humans and creatures like vampires and werewolves. So if Voisin is correct, then Abigail's volund should allow her to use her blood as a divine poison," Isobel said while her attention to the arena.

Meanwhile, Goll looks perplexed to see the witch still alive after what she witnessed.

"She's alive after that fall?! I can see why all the gods fear her. She's nearly unkillable!"

Brunhilde smirks at this.

"Yes, and the fact she used Flamma as one of her tricks is cruel but cunning. No doubt about it, our sister works well with Abigail."

Brunhilde's smirk became more sinister as she uttered, "She who shows her cruelty to the gods."

Before the start of Round Five

Abigail walks through the hallway that leads to the gates.

"Abigail."

Abigail turns to see Brunhilde walking towards her.

Abigail sighed in annoyance.

"Look, I apologize for killing your little gladiator. I'll summon him to battle to make for it. Kay!"

Brunhilde looked unamused as she said.

"I don't care about that. As you know, you need a volund in order to kill a god."

Abigail thought something was missing. Of course, she was always quick to do something. Old habits die hard, she guesses.

"Alright then. So who's my partner to slaughter my opponent?"

Brunhilde intently stared as she said, "Someone who shares your tenacities toward the darkness. She is protective of my sisters and unforgiving to her enemies. Show yourself, Sanngriðr."

"Of course, dear sister," a soft yet eery voice is heard as a woman appears.

Her skin was relatively pale with a heart-shaped face, reddish-purple hair in a neat bun, blue doll-like eyes, and a beauty mark beneath her right eye. She wears a gothic black and grey with puffed shoulders, a purple cravat with a silver brooch, and feathers running down the lower part of the dress. On her head, she has a black silk veil covering her mouth while being held by a silver headband.

Sixth Eldest of the Thirteen Valkyries

Sanngriðr (Norse)

As Sanngriðr looked at Abigail, she gave a creepy smile.

"Tell me. Are you the human I'm going to partner with?"

Abigail grinned at this as she gave a curtsy.

"Of course. I am Abigail Williams. It's an honor to have you as my volund."

Sanngriðr slightly chuckled, "Yes, for we both hate those who lord over us. I can only manage what delight we'll bring as the pitiful god dies."

Abigail grinned as she offered her hand to Sanngriðr.

"Well then, we shall, partner."

Sanngriðr grabbed it and muttered, "Of course. Volund."

Returning to the present, Abigail gazed at her handiwork as Sanngriðr's voice laughed.

"Such beauty! A perfection tomb for a miserable god."

Abigail scoffs at this.

"It's still too early to celebrate. Knowing these gods, they're keeping getting up no matter what?"

Then Ra's voice yelled from within the arena.

"Come on, Sekhmet! I refused to believe would fail to some accursed witch! You are the pride of our family, and as your father, I say RISE! RISE! RIIIIIIIIISE!"

Then, as to heed her father's plea, Sekhmet rose from the makeshift tomb, scarred, bloody, but determined.

"YES! It looks like Sekhmet is still in the fight!"

As Heimdall announces this, the gods rally behind the vampire queen.

Sekhmet spits some of Abigail's blood from her mouth as she conjures a bloody crescent sword.

"Heh, welcome back, my queen. Did you enjoy our trip? I surely did," Abigail said with a wink.

Abigail only stared at the witch and said, "So your volund is Salem this whole time, wasn't it?"

Everyone, including Abigail herself, was shocked at the acknowledgment.

"That explains why your magic can harm me. As long as you stand here, you could kill me, correct?"

Abigail slowly clapped as she nodded approvingly.

"Quite sharp, Sekhmet. Yes, Salem is my volund or at least the atmosphere. But I can't say I prefer it. For this place is where all the lies occur. The hypocrisy that many Puritans dare to hide. I hate it here."

Abigail grimace at even standing in the replica of this accursed town. Sekhmet sees this and, for one moment, understands.

I... agree with you, witch. I can no longer remember the time before I became this. My memories of my family are almost nonexistent. However, I will bear my pain so long as I'm able to make my father happy."

Abigail was stunned to hear the words coming from her opponent.

"Abby!"

Then Abigail looks at the humans' side to see Betty cheering for her. Abigail couldn't believe that her cousin was here and was still supporting her for so long. She almost felt like crying but then steeled herself and smiled.

"Heh, guess we're the same then."

Sekhmet gave a predatory grin as she yelled, "Agreed! Now come on! Let us settle this as monsters!"

Abigail smiled a wicked grin as she said, "Of course. Let's do it. Let's dance, Queen of the Night!"

Abigail conjured a hatchet, and then Sekhmet and Abigail slowly walked toward one another.

Once they got close, the vampire and the witch charged at each other. Sekhmet swings her crimson sword at Abigail, only to miss. Abigail retaliates with some swings from her hatchet, which Sekhmet skillfully dodges.

"For the first time since this round began, Sekhmet and Abigail engaged in close-quarter combat! It's fierce and personal!" Heimdall exclaimed.

Ra yelled desperately, "Hathor, please! Please win and come back to me!"

Meanwhile, Betty clutched her hands in a praying gesture, and she cried.

"Please don't die. Abby, WIN!"

As the two monsters fight for there, Hera couldn't help but smirk at this.

"How ironic."

Goll glanced at the goddess and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Both Sekhmet and Abigail became the individuals they are because they did it to protect those they care about. They were willing to descend into the darkness for their loved ones. So whose sacrifice was worth it all?"

In the fight, Sekhmet morphed her blood sword into a spear and set it ablaze.

"Now, BEGONE!"

Amun-Ra: Spear of the Wrathful Sun

Before she could strike, Abigail jumped away from the spear. Abigail then summoned a plethora of small boulders in the air.

"Giles's Judgement!"

Abigail hurls them toward Sekhmet. The lion goddess weaves through the barrage as they destroy nearby houses.

"This could be it, folks!" Heimdall says as he and the audience wait to see who will win.

As Sekhmet got close, she positioned her spear, ready to deliver the coup de grace.

"I got you now!"

Abigail summoned a massive barrier of shadow to protect herself.

The spear strikes the shadow, and Sekhmet grins madly.

"Nice try, but you're done!"

Then the spear increased in flames and heat, and the wall gave way.

Amun-Ra: Solar Storm Eye

The wall burst away by the flames and scorching blood when a chunk of Salem was caught in an explosion. Once the smoke settles, what's left is seemingly the charred body of Abigail Williams.

"S-she did it...? SHE DID IT! SEKHMET HAS SLAIN THE WITCH!"

La Voisin and Isobel began to comfort Betty as the humans sat in defeat.

Upon hearing Heimdall's words, the gods cheered in victory.

"Excellent!"

Zeus said while he hopped up to celebrate. Amaterasu and the Morrigan sisters looked satisfied, while Ares and Huitzilopochtli brofist.

"Oh, thank goodness, my daughter did it!" Ra yelled with tears of joy.

All was well until Odin spoke.

"Why are all of you cheering? Sekhmet lost."

Those words send shivers down each one of their spins.

Ra glared at the Allfather and shouted, "You lie, Odin! My daughter roasted that witch alive! How could you-!"

Odin pointed to the arena and said, "See for yourself."

As Heimdall was eager to announce the winner, he witnessed Sekhmet clutching her chest.

"S-Sekhmet, are you-?"

Blood gushes out of Sekhmet's mouth, much to the horror of the gods.

Sekhmet collapsed to her knees as she panted painful breaths.

"I...knew it. That witch...poisoned...me..."

As she said this, the supposed charred body of Abigail began to crack and peel to reveal Abigail still alive with some minor burns.

"Hehe, so...you figured it out. Of course, you...should have known that, to begin with."

Abigail slowly gets up and limps toward a dying Sekhmet. Sekhmet looks at her with her eyes crying blood.

Sekhmet coughs while giving a defeated grin.

"Well... I guess your sacrifice was more...worthy than mines. Gotta say creating a shell as a last-ditch effort to protect yourself from my attack. That was quite the risk, brat."

In an exhausted laugh, Abigail said, "Yeah, I actually had to improvise for the first time."

Sekhmet breathed out a chuckle, "And that stunt earlier. You...you were willing to die for this Betty, right?"

Abigail nodded in agreement.

Sekhmet felt her vision becoming deemed as her time in this life was coming to an end.

"I guess...gods...and humans...weren't so...different..."

At last, Sekhmet collapsed to the ground with Abigail standing over her, victorious. Abigail looked at Sekhmet and saw the fallen goddess's face looking tranquil.

"Rest...Sekhmet. Your suffering is finally over. Find peace for both of us," Abigail said with a bit of remorse.

Ra feels anguish as Sekhmet's body glows and cracks. As the sun began to rise, Heimdall sighed in defeat as he announced the winner.

"Ragnarok: Round Five has concluded. This round's winner...representing the human race in the final battle. The Witch of Salem...Abigail Williams..."

Sekhmet's body dissipates as shards flow into the stars, with Abigail looking up with a warm smile.
