Harry and Hannah Together is better then alone
This story starts in their fourth year near the yuleball and will go on all the way until after their 7th year. The main pairing is Harry and Hannah the side pairings might include Susan and Neville and Hermione and Ginny. There might be a bit of Ron, Molly and Dumbledore bashing at some point.
Chapter One
"Harry you have to act soon if you want to ask her. The ball is tomorrow and if you are unlucky she has a date already." Hermione said while she was walking into the great hall with her best friend.
"I know Hermione and I am going to do that, in fact I will ask her right now. Don´t wait for me." Harry replied to his best female friend and walked over to where Hannah was sitting next to her best friend Susan Bones.
"Alright good luck then" Hermione called after him before she sat down at the gryffindor Table. She looked over to the Hufflepuff table and could see how Harry was walking towards Hannah.
Harry walked up to Hannah and Susan and stopped once he was next to them "Hey Hannah could I talk to you in private for a moment?" Harry asked the blonde girl.
"Yeah sure Harry" she said and stood up from her place. Harry and Hannah walked out of the great hall and found an empty classroom. Inside the classroom Hannah looked at her friend and asked him "Okay what do you want to talk about Harry?"
Okay Harry you can do this he thought to himself, took a deep breath and looked into Hannah´s eyes "You know the yuleball is tomorrow and I was wondering if you would like to go with me? I understand if you have a date already, but I didn´t get around to asking you sooner, even tho I really wanted to."
Finally he asked me she thought to herself, smiled at Harry and then replied with "Are you asking me out on a date Mr. Potter?"
"Yes but if you don´t want it to be a date, then it doesn´t have to be one and we could go as friends" Harry answered her truthfully.
"Our first date. I like it. See you tomorrow Harry, I look forward to dancing with you." Hannah said, kissed his Cheek and then walked out of the empty classroom.
I am so happy she actually said yes Harry thought before walking out of the classroom to finish his breakfast.
/ Scene Break /
"So what did Hannah say?" Hermione asked Harry as he took a seat next to her. Harry smiled at his best friend "She actually said yes."
"Oh I am so happy for you Harry. I hope the night goes as planned for you."
"Thanks Mione. Who are you going to the Ball with?" Harry replied
"It´s now or never Hermione thought to herself "I guess I never told you before now, I am going with Ginny. Please don´t be freaked out" Hermione answered his question.
"I am not freaked out Hermione. I hope you two will have a lot of fun, as long as you are having a good time nothing else matters." Harry replied with a smile on his face.
Hermione was so relieved about Harry´s reaction that she hugged him rather tight and whispered into his ear "Thank you Harry that means a lot to me."
/ Scene Break /
Hannah sat down next to her best friend "Oh Sue I am so happy right now."
"I can tell, now spill what happened that made you so happy you bitch!" the redhead replied while smiling at Hannah.
The blonde Hufflepuff looked at her friend and started talking "He asked, he really asked me to the ball Sue. I need to get a new dress and make up and-"
"Geez Hannah you are overthinking, Harry will think you are gorgeous no matter what you wear to the ball." Susan interrupted her best friend.
"How can you be sure of that Susan? I just want to be perfect for him, so that he doesn´t think that I dress cheap or didn´t put any thought to it." Hannah rambled on.
Susan laughed at her best friend "I just know it and now relax a bit, otherwise Harry will see you freaking out and I don´t think you want that."
Hannah looked down and nodded her head "Your right I don´t want that, it´s just that I really like him and I want to show him I could be more then a friend."
"I am sure he knows that, otherwise he would not have asked you on a date." Susan reassured Hannah.
Hannah didn´t feel like responding to that and focused on the breakfast in front of her instead.
After they were done with eating Hannah and Susan walked out of the great hall to have more privacy and find a nice dress for Hannah to wear during the ball.
/ Scene Break /
Ginny Weasley was looking forward to the ball and spending it with Hermione, if everything would go as planned they would be an official couple at the end of the night.
Just as Ginny was about to think about it again, Hermione walked into the Gryffindor common room and sat down next to the redhead.
"Hey Gin are you looking forward to the yuleball?" Hermione asked her with a nervous tone in her Voice.
"Oh yes I am looking forward to it Mione" The Gryffindor replied while smiling at her bushy haired girlfriend.
"So am I Ginny" Hermione replied and then sat down on the couch next to her redheaded girlfriend.
"Do you want to tell Harry and Hannah about us before the Ball?" Ginny asked while looking into Hermione´s eyes.
"It´s all up to you Gin, I am fine with whatever you decide" Hermione answered with a smile on her face.
"Your too sweet, but that´s one of the reasons why I love you." Ginny said and kissed Hermione´s cheek.
"I love you too Gin." the bushy haired girl replied, slightly turned Ginny´s head and then softly pressed her lips onto Ginny´s waiting lips.
Their lips met in a soft and loving kiss, every other thought forgotten and they only had eyes for each other.
/ Scene Break /
Harry walked back towards the Gryffindor common room. Now that he knew Hannah would go to the ball with him, he wanted to be as prepared as he could be.
He said the password and walked into the common room. He froze for a second in front of him on a couch were Ginny and Hermione kissing each other.
Harry closed his eyes for a moment and then walked up into the boys dormitory to get his father´s cloak. Once he had the cloak in his pocket he walked downstairs again.
By the time he got down to the common room Ginny and Hermione were separated from each other and Hermione looked at Harry with a blush on her face.
Ginny looked at the two of them and then said "I will give you some time to talk, I will see you later Mione."
Hermione nodded her head "Thanks Gin, see you later."
After giving Hermione a kiss on her cheek Ginny walked upstairs towards the girls dormitory.
/ Scene Break /
"I am sorry you found out that way Harry. I wanted to tell you myself tomorrow night at the yuleball. Please don´t be mad at me" Hermione said and sat down next to her best friend.
"I am not mad Mione, I am more disappointed that you didn´t tell me right away. I thought we told each other everything. I guess you don´t trust me enough and that just makes me sad." Harry replied and avoided her eyes by looking into the fireplace.
"That´s not it! You know I trust you with my life. It´s just that Ginny wanted to wait until the yuleball to tell everyone and I promised her I wouldn´t tell anyone about us before that time. I love you like my own brother, so can we please move on from this? I don´t want to argue with you." Hermione answered him.
"I love you like my sister too and I don´t want to argue with you either. So yes we can move on and I am not really mad at you, but you have to promise me that you are really happy with your relationship." Harry said and looked into his best friends eyes.
"Of course I am happy Harry. I am the happiest I have ever been." Hermione said and then hugged her best friend.
Harry returned the hug and the two of them stayed that way for a moment.
"I should really go now" Harry whispered and pulled away from his best friend. He stood up and walked towards the entrance to the common room.
"Where do you want to go?" Hermione called after him before he walked out of the common Room.
Harry looked back at her and then responded "originally I wanted to ask you, if you wanted to spend the evening talking like we used to do. But I guess you have better plans now, so I am going by myself I guess."
Hermione smiled at him "I would love to do that tonight. I am just going to say goodnight to Ginny and then we can leave, if you still want me to go with you that is."
"Yeah sounds good to me Mione" Harry answered and returned Hermione´s smile.

Hannah couldn´t help but be nervous whenever she thought about the yuleball. Tomorrow she would be Harry´s date.
I just hope everything will turn out to be okay she thought to herself as she sat down inside the Hufflepuff common room.
Susan saw her best friend, walked over to her and sat down next to her. "So what are you going to say to Harry tomorrow?"
"Just the truth Sue, I may not be a Gryffindor, but the boy I love deserves to know how I feel about him. That´s why I will tell him just that tomorrow." Hannah replied and looked at her best friend with a look of determination.
Susan hugged her best friend and smiled at her "I am proud of you Hannah. I don´t know if I would have the same courage that you have."
"Oh I am nervous Susan, but Harry and I have been friends for two years now and I really want to be more then just a friend to him. I just hope he feels the same way about me." Hannah replied to the redhead next to her.
"I am sure he does, otherwise he would not have asked you on a date. Now let´s see that perfect outfit of yours for tomorrow." the redhead answered her best friend.
/ Scene Break /
"Good night Mione, good night Ginny" Harry said as he walked past them in the common room.
Hermione smiled at her brother in all but blood "Good night Harry and tell me about the you know what if they happen."
Harry looked at her and nodded his head "I hope it won´t be necessary but I will tell you if I need to talk."
"Alright then see you tomorrow morning. I love you." Hermione replied
"Love you too MIone" came Harry´s reply and after he said that he went up to his dorm.
