A/N: Hey everybody! I hope all of you are doing amazing! I just wanted to update you guys on the story a bit. Remember Toby and Elijah, from the beginning. I felt like changing their names to Morgan and Dwayne to fit the Walking Dead Universe, because I have been using all the actual characters from that show. So from now on, instead of Toby and Elijah, it's Morgan and Dwayne. Anyways, other than that, I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!

"Hey! We're out of toilet paper." Amy shouts as she opens the door to exit the RV. However, little did she know that there was a walker right around the corner. The walker steps right up to her and takes a huge bite out of her arm. She starts screaming in pain as the walker would not let go.

"AMY NOOO!" Andrea screams as she rushes off to her little sister.

More and more walkers arrive at the scene, leaving everyone in a panic as they start to scatter around to their family members, other than Finn and Mike who grabbed their weapons and fought the walkers.

"MAMA!" Lucas yells trying to find Quinn

"LUCAS?!" Quinn says as she finds him and starts to shield him from Amy's current condition.

"QUINN, GET HIM DOWN!" Puck shouts as he grabs his shotgun and shoots several walkers that were near them.

Jim picks up a baseball bat while Dale grabs his rifle and begins to take down walkers from left to right. However, it was too late, other members from the group were attacked and already bitten.

Gunshots were fired from all over the camp attracting more and more walkers to the campground. Quinn started hiding Lucas between her and Puck, never leaving his side, while Puck moved his left hand behind to make sure that Quinn and Lucas were still behind him.

Another walker had approached Amy and took another bite out of her neck. Jim starts running towards them and takes a swing at both the walkers on Amy, killing both. Andrea finally arrived and kneeled over her sister.

"No! No! Oh God!" Andrea says as she grabs her sister's hand as tears begin to fall down her face, "I don't know what to do. I don't know-what to do?!"

The fight against the dead still continues and Puck, now holding Quinn's hand, keeps Quinn and Lucas close, along with Kurt and Ella.

"I need to get you all to the RV. Once we go there, lock the door and don't open it until-" Puck says looking at the dozen walkers that now surround them, until he hears a car drive through half of them.

Santana, T-Dog, Daryl, and Glenn had arrived just in time. Santana and Daryl jump out of the car and get the remaining walkers. Glenn had parked the car and he and T-Dog went to go help the others.

"Quinn! Lucas!" Santana says emotionally running to her family, first hugging Lucas who had run straight to her. Quinn lets go of Puck's hand quickly and begins to cry as she approaches Santana.

The fight was finally over.

"I'm so sorry, love. I'm here now, nothing will ever hurt you. Both of you." Santana says as she kisses the top of Quinn's head, while carrying Lucas in her arms.

From a distance, a confused and angry Puck throws his hat to the ground.

"After all this, you still run back to her. She wasn't here to protect you in the first place. I WAS!" Puck thought infuriatingly

The group looks off to a crying Andrea, who hasn't moved. She still had a hold of her sister's hand and grasp until Amy moved to touch Andrea's face to let her know that she loves her so much. But, unfortunately in an instant Amy's hand drops and her eyes close.

Amy is dead.

"I remember why I dug the holes, this was my dream…" Jim announces quietly.

Santana looks around the camp, still holding Quinn and Lucas, and sees several dead walkers and people, people they used to know.

She was too late.

The next morning…

Santana stares over the sunrise over New York from inside her tent as she tries to reach Morgan through the walkie-talkie.

"Morgan, I don't know if you're out there. I don't know if you can hear me, but I hope you can. I found others. I found my family, if you can believe it. My wife and son, they're alive. Quinn had wanted me to tell you thank you for everything and she hopes to meet the man and boy who had saved my life." Santana says with a smile as she waits for a response, but then continues, "There's something else that you need to know. Atlanta isn't what we thought, it's not what they promised. The city belongs to the dead now. We are camped a few miles north of the city. I hope you can come find us. But please, be careful. Take care of you and your boy. I'll try and reach you again tomorrow at dawn."

Santana exits the tent to go find Quinn and her son, but stops as soon as she sees Andrea and Amy. Andrea had not left Amy's side the whole night. She couldn't have. Amy was her little sister, her innocent, sweet, loving, little sister.

Finn approaches Andrea and kneels down next to her while putting a hand on her back to support her.

"Andrea. I'm so sorry Amy's gone. But you gotta let us take her. We all cared and loved her and I promise we'll be as gentle as we can." Finn says sadly, but after receiving no response he backs off.

The rest of the remaining survivors of the attack start to clean up. They've decided on burning the walker bodies and bury the dead from their group. Daryl swings at the deceased walkers' heads with a pickaxe, to ensure that they are truly dead, while Glenn and T-Dog throw the bodies in a fire.

"She still won't move?" Santana asks

"She won't talk to us. She's been there all night. What should we do?" Quinn responds

"We can't leave Amy like that. We need to bury her, just like the others." Finn says as Puck joins the conversation.

"Y'all can't be serious. Y'all letting that girl have more balls than you all combined. The dead girl's a ticking time bomb." Puck says furiously

"What do you suggest, Puck?" Santana says, sighing.

"Take the shot. Right here, in the brain. Hell, I can hit a turkey between the eyes from this distance." Puck says while pointing.

"Stop it! Just let her be, she just lost her sister. Give her time to grieve." Quinn says and walks over towards Ella and Lucas.

As Glenn and T-Dog finish burning the bodies of all the walkers that had attacked their group last night. They decide to ask Daryl and Jim for help to start burying their loved ones. Daryl and Jim come across the dead body of a Jacki and start dragging the body toward the fire.

"What are you guys doing? This is for geeks. Our people go over there." Glenn points.

"What's the difference? They're all infected and gone." Daryl says

"Our people go in that row over there. We don't burn them! We bury them!" Glenn says as his voice breaks. Daryl accepts and starts dragging the body towards the grave.

Dale walks up to Jim and offers a bottle of water as he notices that Jim was sweating.

"Here's some water Jim." Dale says, but notices something on Jim's shirt. "Are you bleeding?"

"No, I just got some blood on me from the bodies."

"No, that blood looks fresh…were you bit?"

"No Dale, I got scratched during the attack. But look, I'm fine."

"Well then show me."

"Please don't tell. Please."

"A walker got him! A walker bit Jim!" Dale shouts, drawing the attention of the group, who start circling around Jim.

"Show it to us. Now!" Puck shouts while grabbing his shotgun.

Jim picks up his shovel and tries to protect himself from Puck, but then T-Dog grabs Jim from behind so he wouldn't move. Puck approaches closer and closer until he lifts Jim's shirt showing the walker bite on his side.

"I'm okay. I'm okay. See. I'm okay." Jim pleads, but sees that people began to back off and keep a relative distance from him.

"I say we put a pickaxe in his head and the dead girl's and be done with it." Puck shouts looking straight at Jim, who was sitting on the ground next to the RV.

"Is that what you'd want if it were you?" Finn says as he stands up.

"Yeah, and I'd thank you while you did it." Daryl voiced in.

"I hate to say it…I never thought I would agree, but maybe Pick and Daryl are right." Dale states.

"Jim's not a monster, Dale, or some rabid dog," Santana says pointing to Jim, "He's sick. A sick man, therefore we start down that road, where do we draw the line?"

"The line's pretty clear Santana. Zero tolerance for walkers." Puck says angrily.

"What if we can get him help? I heard the C.D.C. was working on a cure." Santana responds as Puck scoffs.

"I heard that too. Heard a lot of things before the world went to hell." Finn says

"Finn, What if the C.D.C is still up and running?"

"Man, that is a stretch."

"Why? If there's any government left, any structure at all, they would protect the C.D.C. at all costs. I think it's our best shot. We'd have shelter, protection-"

"Okay, San, you want those things, all right? I do too, okay? Now if they exist, they're at the army base. That is 100 miles in the opposite direction."

"Nah, see y'all go looking for aspirin and shit, do what you need to do. I'll be the one that needs to have some balls to take care of this damn problem!" Puck says as he pickups his shotgun and aims it towards Jim.

"Hey! We don't kill the living!" Santana says as she points her gun at Puck's head, "We may disagree on some things, but not on this. You put it down."

"That's funny coming from someone who just put a gun to my head." Puck says as he puts his gun down and backs off.

After receiving many condolences that Andrea mentally blocked out from the group, Andrea remained by her sister. It's not like she wanted to block them all out, it just happened. In one ear and out the other. Andrea had been using a rag to clean the blood from her little sister's face, until she started to hear Amy's breathing.

Oh no. No, this can't be happening. Not yet.

Amy had begun doing slight arm movements, until she opened her eyes. Her sister's light blue eyes were still dominant, but were now placed in a fog of red.

"Amy. Oh Amy, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for not ever being there. I always thought there'd be more time. But I'm here now, Amy. And I will never leave you. I love you so much baby sister." Andrea says as holds her sister's face once more, while looking at those bright light blue eyes.

Amy's groans had become louder and louder as it started drawing worried looks from the rest of the group. But Andrea had to do what was next. She grabs her pistol and aims it on the side of her sister's head. Fire.

"Goodnight baby sister."

Santana and Finn had gone to dig more graves near the campsite to have a proper funeral for those lost. However, tension rose between the two of them.

"Say it." Santana says as she stops shoveling now looking at Finn.

"Okay. I'm thinking if you'd stayed here, if you would have looked after your own…Instead you went off and took half our manpower with you. I'm thinking maybe our losses wouldn't have been so bad. We nearly lost half our group, San."

"Finn, If we hadn't gone off and brought those guns back when we did, I think our losses would have been a lot worse. Maybe it would've been the entire camp-"

Santana gets cut off by a pick-up truck delivering their group's deceased bodies.

"So the kid gets all emotional and says it's not the thing to do, and we just follow him along? I swear these people need to know who the hell's in charge here and what the rules are." Daryl says speaking about Glenn's emotional outburst.

"There are no rules. We haven't had a chance to hold onto anything from our old selves. We need to mourn and bury our dead. It's what people do." Santana says as she signals Finn to help her out with one of the bodies.

After the funeral, Santana stayed close to Quinn and Lucas. Funerals were the one thing that Santana couldn't handle, up till this day. The death of her grandmother had brought Santana to a dark place, a place that only Quinn could get her out of. Santana was the last to know about the passing of her abuela, due to most of her family shunning her out after finding out that Santana was a lesbian.

"Are we safe now, mami? Now that we're together?" Lucas says bringing back Santana from her thoughts.

"I hope so kiddo. I won't leave again. I promise you that. Not for anything…You think you could give me a chance to talk some things over with mama?" Santana says crouching down to talk to her son, who nods and returns to camp.

Santana stands up and takes Quinn's hand, leading her to a more quiet place.

"Luce, Finn blames me for not being here. Do you?" Santana says sadly, "We got guns now. We're stronger."

"No! Of course not. But Tana, we have fewer people now. That makes us weaker."

"What about the C.D.C? I believe that we can live there for a long period of time. It'd have food, protection, and energy. We would be set."

"Tana.."

"We have a sick man who needs help. Our help! I don't know why people can't see that." Santana pleads, as Quinn moves one of her hands to caress Santana's cheek.

"Love, look at our faces, look at mine. We're all terrified. The C.D.C is close to the city and you said so yourself, it's overrun. But, I trust you. I always have. I'm with you on this."

"I love you Quinn. I will make this work. For us."

"I love you more Tana." Quinn says as she kissed Santana and left to go start packing, leaving Santana to check up on Jim.

But from a distance, Puck saw everything, fueling his anger more.

Puck decides to make his way towards Quinn's tent and taps it to get her attention.

"Hey gorgeous," Puck says looking at Quinn's beautiful hazel eyes, "I need you to help talk some sense into Santana. Look, this whole C.D.C. thing, Quinn, it's a mistake."

"Please, don't call me that. Puck, I trust her. I get you think it's a mistake, but she's building up hope for this group. Hope that things can return back to normal."

"Look, it may be time for you to play the "faithful" wife, but you can't tell me that fixing your marriage is worth putting people's lives at risk." Puck says emphasizing the air quotes.

"No! You don't get to do that. I've always been faithful to Santana, asshole. You told me she died-you lied to me. You are a lot of things Puck, but I never thought you would be a liar." Quinn says as her voice trembles.

"Hey Puck, you ready to go do our sweep? Finn's already out there." Santana says as approaches her tent to grab a couple things before the trip.

"Yeah. Let's go." Puck says as he walks off.

"Alright love, I'll be back in a few." Santana says as she kisses Quinn.

"Stay safe Tana."

"Tell you what, these people, they're not convinced Santana. You know? You head to the C.D.C., you might be on your own. You gotta really consider whether you want to put Quinn and Lucas in that kind of spot." Puck says as he looks around for any remaining walkers.

"I gotta do what's best for my family."

"Best for your family? What's that? Exposing them to all kinds of risks?"

"As opposed to what? Stay here and face another attack. Why can't you back me up, brother?" Santana says, looking at Puck.

"Look, I want to. It's just… I don't see it."

"If it was your family, you'd feel differently." Puck puts his shotgun down and walks close to Santana.

"What did you say to me? I kept them safe, man. I did! Finn was taking care of the group, while I looked after them like they were my own. That's what I did."

"Look, I didn't mean it that way, Puck."

"Well, how'd you mean it? Go on, man. How'd you mean it?"

"You're misinterpreting me. You're hearing it wrong."

"Yeah?"

"Look, you know.. you know I can never repay that debt, okay-"

A branch snaps

Santana signals to Puck that she is going to approach the sound. As Santana continues to walk a few yards away from Puck, Puck has his eye on Santana. He has his shotgun pointed towards Santana and his finger on the trigger. He continues to stare at Santana, wanting to pull the trigger. He's inches away from murdering his so-called "sister", but lowers his gun and notices that Finn was watching him the whole time.

"Jesus." Finn says, completely shocked as Puck laughs it off.

"Come on, man. Nothing's out here. " Puck yells out towards Santana, who nods and returns back to camp.

As Santana, Finn, and Puck, return to camp, Finn gathers the group members together to announce the new plan.

"I've been thinking about Santana's plan. Now look, there are no… no guarantees. I'll be the first one to admit that I've known this woman for a long time and I trust her instincts. So the most important thing here is that we need to stay together. So those of you that agree, we leave the first thing tomorrow morning."

A/N: Oooh. This was a long chapter. What did you guys think though? I really hope you guys enjoy this story. I just wanted to say thanks again, I absolutely love reading your reviews! It helps a ton. :)
