Author's Note: Last chapter was pretty fun, and now it's time for Meliodas to fight his Father, the Demon King. This one won't be as long as the last one but as a regular 5k chapter, maybe...I'll see how it goes. And I'll answer the only review that was made.

Speedster452-The chapter was great and all, but the wait time was way too long but I will let it slide this one time because of the amazing chapter. Well, I would prefer the commandments surviving and losing the six nights of black. The fact that most of them die is ok but seems a bit contrived. Also, it's strange that monspeet of all people would not help Derieri in her fight. If she is close to dying he would be the first person to help. I find it a bit strange that after so much training and info from Azazel they still had heavy casualties from the commandments nonetheless. Why didn't Melascula not start off with the gloom cacoon that's a gg for anyone not stronger than Zeldris with demon king power or assault mode Meliodas. It's like preparing for a test having the information of what its about and still barely passing it does not make sense. I forgot to mention Melascula constantly moves her hearts in her snake form so targeting them is not an option. And the commandments always soul steal humans so that should have been her first move gloom cacoon plus soul steal is gg.

So if it sounds contrived that the three commandments are dead, then it's because they were always destined to die. It was always planned for one or more commandments to die; it was just a matter of who I favored over everyone else. Derieri was chosen not because I dislike her; it's the opposite, but because she really would die on the battlefield, seeing as she gave up seven hearts against the four archangels. And Melascula was killed from the inside out, so it didn't matter if she moved her heart throughout her body in her snake form if she was killed from the inside. And I never showed the fight; I just implied it was a tough and long one. Also, I feel you forget that this is Sirzechs peerage, regarded as the strongest peerage in the Underworld. I'm not saying they're all equal to Demon King Zeldris, but they might be around Assault Meliodas before training. They were also never trained by Azazel; at least in my memory, they taught themselves and with each other. And there weren't "heavy" casualties. Losing three out of ten commandments at the victory isn't heavy. Had it been early on, then it would have been a pretty serious casualty.

The Knights of Black could've been killed, but that honestly never crossed my mind. And finally, Monspeet couldn't have helped Derieri in any way against Sairaorg. It's the equivalent of Gotenks trying to help fend off Beerus. It means nothing. I understand that he has grown pretty strong, but trying to get in between two powerhouses fighting with brute force where shockwaves can level a forest isn't a good idea. There's also the fact that he didn't know where she was, how she was doing, or even who she was fighting. Zeldris left her for the same reason, not that he couldn't help her, but Izraf needed his attention more, and he even knew that "helping" her would be more of a hindrance.

Plus, she wanted redemption from their previous fight.

Anyway, hopes this clears up a few things. Let's get on with the chapter.

Chapter 27-The Battle of Demon Kings

(Weeks later)

It had been weeks since Meliodas defeated the last supernatural resistance. Gabriel had long since retreated to Heaven, assuming her role as leader, as per Micheal's wishes. She had ordered every Angel to cease their travels to the mortal realm unless strictly told otherwise by Gabriel herself. She needed to regain order among the Angels and the new human souls that entered Heaven. At the same time, she knew of a very dark secret that could make almost any Angel fall, but because she was now the leader of Heaven and God was dead, she couldn't succumb to such a fate.

The secret deal between Micheal, essentially herself as well, and Meliodas.

(Flashback)

Gabriel had escaped to Heaven; she had to. Her brothers were killed, leaving her as the only surviving Archangel capable of ruling Heaven. She had informed every Angel of what had transpired and promptly ordered them not to do anything. Many didn't agree with her decision, but she explained that they would be killed and Heaven needed as many Angels as possible. She understood their frustration and wanted to avenge her fallen brothers, but allowing Heaven to fall would be too risky.

Currently, she had secluded herself in a room where she silently cried. She needed to remain strong; she couldn't show her emotions before her little brothers and sisters. She would never claim them as her children, as that's not only not true, but she wouldn't be, and never would be, arrogant enough to compare her power to God. In her thoughts, she didn't notice or sense a creeping darkness appearing behind her.

"Forgive me, Father, Micheal, Raphael, Uriel, and all other angels who have died in this war. Forgive me for not being able to do more. Forgive me for not preventing this, but for not ending this sooner and allowing this to drag on into a full-scale war. Heh...I'm asking for forgiveness when I'm the one who is supposed to grant it. Truly, I'm now alone. This is quite pathetic."

"I thought it was quite lovely." A voice spoke as Gabriel's eyes widened. She turned around and saw Meliodas calmly sitting on a chair, drinking tea. She went to attack him when chains of darkness restrained her and was forcibly sat down in the chair across from him. She struggled to free herself, but she realized that escape was impossible. Meliodas was still as calm as ever, and he didn't move to get up, defend himself, or even speak.

"If I wanted you dead, I would've killed you back at the battlefield." Meliodas opened as Gabriel paused. He was right. If he wanted her dead, he would've either killed her in battle or when he snuck up on her. "See? Even you realize it. Now, I know that you have many questions, such as how am I still alive after entering the domain of God? Why aren't you dead? Why am I even here? Many questions to be answered for another day. However, I can answer the last one." Meliodas explained as he undid her restraints. They both knew that Meliodas could kill her whenever he wanted and instead of creating a colossal bloodbath, she decided to hear him out.

"Then what is it that you want you? I've been forced to prevent any Angel from leaving to take revenge, as to not have any more losses for the Angels. Tell me already so that you may leave and so that I can now live in fear of knowing that you can enter this realm with no consequences whenever you wish." Gabriel dryly said as she wanted the Demon to leave. She didn't even want to fathom how powerful Meliodas was to simply enter a realm that should've killed him upon entry. That alone spoke volumes of his power, but seeing his full power was something that would haunt her dreams.

"I am here for my thoughts and the deal made between myself and Micheal." Meliodas cut to the chase as Gabriel dropped her tea cup. She was silent, slowly comprehending what she was just been told. A deal with Micheal? He was lying; he had to be. Why would Micheal, the previous ruler of Heaven, someone who God trusted his domain to, make a deal with a literal demonic warlord? She would lash out, force him out of what was now her domain and order him never to return.

But...

"Micheal had told you that you would take over Heaven should he and the others fall. Correct?" Meliodas asked as Gabriel lost her anger and nodded. "Well, during my battle, as I thought about ending you all and obliterating this realm, I thought against it. Balance is essential, but a world with no Christian afterlife means hundreds of thousands with no place to go after death. This is selfish, but I don't want to deal with those souls wandering my world." Meliodas explained as Gabriel clenched her fist so tight that her knuckles turned white. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Meliodas didn't annihilate Heaven because he didn't want to deal with the consequences of doing such a task.

"Besides, I couldn't create this realm even with my vast power. But that is beside the point. The point is that I made a deal with Micheal to spare you, and with my previous thoughts, I've decided to make a deal with you, new ruler of Heaven." Meliodas grew serious, now using his diplomatic side as he put down his drink. "The deal is simple and benefits us both. I shall leave this realm alone and only come here when needed. In return, you are not to allow any Angel to leave. Unless an Angel has gone rogue, a coup d'état is being planned in secret, or one is guiding a soul here, you are to be responsible for anything that you know of. I do not demand anything in return, only your cooperation. Deal?" Meliodas explained and offered as he stuck out his hand. Gabriel stared at it momentarily before she sighed and closed her eyes.

"Do you swear to leave this realm alone? To not come here unless needed or necessary." Gabriel asked as Meliodas nodded. Then, hesitantly, she stuck out her hand and shook his, solidifying the deal between the rulers. Meliodas thanked her before he stood up and created a portal of darkness behind him. Gabriel stared at his retreating figure before calling out to him.

"What do you plan to do now? You've conquered the world. What more do you want?" Gabriel asked as Meliodas stopped. He stared at her with emerald eyes and gave a slight grin. She stared into the green orbs as Meliodas turned around.

"There is one final fight for me to do, and after that, a being must be erased. Once those two final things are over, perhaps I can settle down as the supreme ruler." Meliodas explained before he left, leaving Gabriel to her lonesome. She pondered his answer before shaking her head, deciding she didn't want to think about him any longer.

(Flashback End)

Gabriel was sitting down in the same room where she had spoken to Meliodas. Many thoughts ran through her mind, such as his final fight. Who was he going to fight? Why was this unknown being, unknown to her at least, considered to be his last fight? Wasn't that Sirzechs? Or the war that was against him? And who was he going to erase? Gabriel remembered it clearly. Meliodas had said: "erased." Not fight, but erase. He wasn't going to fight this entity; he would obliterate it.

"What could warrant him to have a final fight but then say erase another? Why not just erase both?" Gabriel muttered to herself as she groaned in annoyance. She was now annoyed that she thought of a simple solution for her "ally." Even so, gaining a headache wasn't something she wanted, especially when she had a full day ahead of her. Getting up, Gabriel went to the door to get through the day, dropping Meliodas's matter for him to deal with and for her not to stress over.

(With Meliodas

Meliodas was sitting in a room drinking with Ophis cuddling next to him. He stroked her hair with one hand and drank alcohol with the other. He wanted to relax before facing his Father, the Demon King. Now that Meliodas thought about it, he never knew his Father's real name. The man only went by his title, and Meliodas was sure neither Chandler nor Cusack knew his name. Not that it mattered since they were fighting to the death, but Meliodas figured that as the eldest child, he had the right to learn his name. Perhaps before his battle with him, he could finally learn his name.

He had also convinced Ophis not to join him in the battle against his Father. Everyone else knew they would have no help in a battle with two Demon Kings battling to the death. Ophis, however, knew she was strong enough to assist him and had practically begged him to allow her to help. Meliodas had explained that his Father killed Great Red, who was equal to her in power. It's not that he didn't believe in her, but two beings of exact power who were stronger than her fighting in the vicinity—worried him about her life.

As of now, he was wondering what he would do. It has been told many times that two Demon Kings can never exist at the same time, for it would cause the end of the world. His Father has already proven that he can shake dimensions during battle, although whether that was caused due to him being in the Dimensional Gap or his own power Meliodas didn't know. He knew that if it was his Father's power, he and himself would endanger the entire Demon Realm.

Possibly this world as well.

They could both create suns, create vast realms, and survive in the harshest of environments. Meliodas knew this would sound arrogant, but he believed it would take an army of Gods and Goddesses to take him down. And from what he learned from Azazel, this world had mighty Gods and Goddesses. But they weren't relevant; what was, was him finding a way to fight his Father without endangering two different dimensions.

They were powerful beings with vast power, and challenging them would be a mistake. But this was essentially the same being fighting itself with slightly different abilities. Meliodas just knew that this fight would be annoying, knowing that he and his Father would use the same spells to neutralize the other.

A mirror match, if you will.

Meliodas sighed as he decided to worry about it when he went to face him. If anything, he himself would create a dimension where they could fight undisturbed. Not worrying about his new kingdom and home being obliterated as a byproduct of his fight. The Demon King felt something on his cheek and saw that it was Ophis kissing him. A smile crept onto his face as he kissed her forehead, his emerald eyes glistening in the light as the Zeldris and Estarossa walked in.

"Excuse us! Sorry to ruin your moment, but we wanted to discuss the plans for fighting Father." Estarossa explained, knowing that Ophis was more annoyed than Meliodas. She pouted and held him tighter, refusing to let go. Zeldris saw it as her being childish and grabbed her from underneath her arms and started pulling. Zeldris didn't trust Ophis not to follow Meliodas, regardless of anything she said or promised.

"Release my brother at once! The moment you hear of the plan, you will want to join him! Let! Go!"

"No!"

Meliodas and Estarossa found the scene amusing. They held back their laughter, knowing that Zeldris would get annoyed. Meliodas tapped Ophis and asked her to let him go, and she quickly did as she was told. This caused her and Zeldris to fly back, with Ophis sitting in Zeldris's back as Estarossa laughed.

"Ah! Look at that! The great Executioner of the Demon King being used as a chair!" Estarossa laughed as dark energy started rolling off Zeldris. Ophis, sensing the incoming danger, quickly got off him and floated to the ceiling. Zeldris got up and slammed his fist into the back of his brother's head, sending him crashing to the floor, breaking it in the process.

"You shouldn't let him get to you. Besides, didn't Gelda want you to work on your slight anger and patience issues?" Meliodas asked, his voice a little higher than normal. Zeldris growled and sucked his teeth, looking away as he knew his elder brother was right. Estarossa got off the floor and held his head in pain, though he wasn't bleeding.

"Man, you pack a punch when you're angry."

"Shut your mouth before I banish you to Purgatory."

Ophis watched as she wondered how the three were brothers. None of them were threatened by the other, especially Estarossa. He laughed off whatever threat was thrown his way, Zeldris was always serious and demanded respect, and Meliodas was arrogant and didn't pay anyone any mind. Of course, Meliodas also possessed a temper; surprisingly, it was more tame than Zeldris's. She loved him nonetheless and hadn't seen Meliodas grow furious to the point where she would feel scared.

"Enough! Ophis has already promised me that she will stay here. Now then, as for how I'm dealing with Father...the Demon Realm will need to be sacrificed. Forcing him out would be far too difficult, and restraining myself for the dimension wouldn't be wise. While we can evacuate whoever we can, there will be many who will be unable to escape. There is no other choice, Father may have half his strength because I possess the commandments, but he has been the Demon King for the past centuries for a reason." Meliodas explained as Zeldris flinched slightly. He didn't want the realm and most of the citizens to be destroyed, but he knew that there was no other choice. Even as the thought of Meliodas creating another dimension came to mind, it wouldn't be favorable as it required power and forcibly removing his Father to a separate dimension was much easier said than done.

"Saving people might not even be possible. He has an army of red, grey, and orange demons at his disposal. It would be easy for him to sense the magical power of the citizens vanishing along with the portal magic. It might just be better to fight him head-on and rebuild once you've won." Estarossa spoke up as Meliodas sighed. That might've been the correct path, Meliodas thought, seeing as his Father would have no problem casting down a barrage of lightning upon them. He had done it before to a small nation, and he doubted that he would hesitate against his own people.

"Then so be it. If there is no other or easier choice, then the destruction of the Demon Realm is unavoidable." Meliodas stated as he stood up. "Get Gowther and Chandler so that they may create a portal. Ophis, I want you to help them; with the death of Melascula, it will be much harder for them both to make a strong enough portal to keep sustained when sending people through. Estarossa, I want you to gather Asia and whoever else knows healing magic to help any stragglers once I've started fighting. And Zeldris, you are in full control during my absence until my return. Anything is to be run by you, and you do as you see fit." Meliodas ordered as they all nodded. Right after, he created a portal and walked through, ready to fight his Father.

"You heard him. Let's get to it." Zeldris started as they all left, quickly doing what Meliodas wanted them to do. Zeldris stood still for a moment before moving to the main room, deciding to prepare for the new Demons.

(In the Demon Realm)

Meliodas appeared before large double-gated doors. He snarled as, with a single punch, he broke them off their hinges. Demons stared at him as he glared back, walking forward with none of them getting his way. He wouldn't kill them unless they attacked, not that they would survive the clash between him and his Father, but they had enough brains to know who it was they would be challenging.

"If you all wish to survive, I suggest leaving." That was the only warning Meliodas gave as he drew his sword and allowed the Demons to fly past him. There were still some that stayed, deciding to obey the orders of the Demon King instead of Meliodas's warning. The remaining ones charged him with weapons; in the blink of an eye, they were all cut-up corpses on the floor. Meliodas continued his stride, not giving them another thought as he busted the doors to the throne room down. And his Father sat before him, waiting for his arrival. The two said nothing momentarily, only gazing at each other until the older Demon spoke.

"So...you've come for my throne, have you?"

"Indeed I have, Father." Melidoas replied as his Father snorted.

"To call me Father...as you come to challenge me and fight to the death? How cruel. Even more so...when you endanger this entire realm by fighting me." Meliodas ignored his Father's "guilt trip". He didn't care about the dimension, since he was going to make a new one once he was done fighting and gaining some needed rest. Even if a few people were saved, Meliodas would be content with that, knowing that they could repopulate with any of the other races.

"This realm was doomed from the beginning when you were made King. I may have been blindly following you for centuries, but I now see that you are nothing more than a tyrant to your own people. A tyrant that wouldn't hesitate to use its own citizens as cannon fodder." Meliodas coldly explained his Father's ideals as the older demon laughed. Then he stood up and summoned his large broad sword. Meliodas could feel his dark glare, and he started seeing his Father's magical power envelope around him.

"Necessary sacrifices. As for your loyal servitude...it would have been compromised long ago had you joined the daughter of the Supreme Deity. Back then you came to your senses and killed her...but I now see that you've grown weaker in this new dimension. Perhaps joining her would have been a better fate for you than this."

"Say what you will. It will not change your fate." Meliodas coldly replied as he encased himself in darkness until it dissipated, revealing his Demon King form. He brandished the short sword that Azazel had made for him and apathetically stared at his Father as clouds started forming over the castle. Knowing the consequences that would soon incur, Meliodas started gathering an orb of dark magic in between his golden claws. It reached the size of a basketball before Meliodas ceased pouring his magic into his spell. The Demon King could see his shadow being pulled towards the orb, and his eyes narrowed.

Play Song-DeathBattle-One King To Rule Them All

"Surely you realize...that the use of such magic is foolish, even for you. Not only that, but it will take more magical power than that to kill me."

"I'm well aware." Meliodas replied as he launched his attack. The orb tore up the ground as the elder Demon released a blast of purple lightning, halting it in its tracks. The attacks canceled out as Meliodas lunged at his Father with his sword. Clashing against his son, the two kings struggled against each other, with their magic fortifying the storm that grew outside the castle.

Lightning crashed outside around the kingdom, destroying the land and the buildings. The denizens were forced to fly to safety while others ran towards the large portal that Gowther and Chandler instructed them to go through. An explosion from the castle drew their attention, all of them seeing a clash of purple lightning and fire. They saw the two Demon Kings in a battle to the death, for there would only be one true king.

Meliodas launched balls of fire that violently exploded against his Father's blade. Right after that, he used Counter Vanish to negate an attack as he glared down his Father through the heavy rain. Meliodas flared his magic, changing the rain to hail, and from there shaping them into icicles. His Father only stood there as he took the barrage head-on, creating a heavy mist around him. Meliodas watched the mist clear to see his Father unharmed with a scowl on his face.

"...Impudent son of mine. You've forgotten my magical power...The Ruler! A Demon King you've become...your magical power is still nothing compared to my own." The Demon King taunted as Meliodas growled in annoyance. He had forgotten about that, and he started to realize how much more difficult this battle was going to become. His Father suddenly stuck his hand out as a purple mist surrounded it, and then he called his own spell.

"Death Grip!" Meliodas found himself in front of Father as he quickly blocked a sword encased in lightning. Meliodas struggled against it, being unprepared for being forcibly teleported as he was overwhelmed and sent crashing into the ground. He grunted in annoyance before blasting back to his fight against his Father, all the while a dark tornado formed in the distance. Lightning coursed through the raging winds and crashed into whatever was around it.

"Karyu Endan!"

"Abyss Break!" The Demon King roared as he faced his palm upward at the large fire dragon. A large bronze seal with an X formed as a power blast of magic collided with the large flame dragon. He then blocked another sword strike before being struck by Meliodas's claws, temporarily staggering him. Meliodas capitalized on this and made his claws bigger and encased them in Hellfire. He promptly slammed them onto his father's head, cracking his helm and sending the large demon to a knee. The older demon growled in anger before backhanding his son into the sky.

"That pest! This size...for as intimidating as it is, is more of a liability to me. Time to change that." The Demon King thought to himself as he was enveloped in a large mass of darkness. Meliodas watched from the sky with narrowed eyes, sensing the change in his father's magic. He raised his claws and prepared to use a stronger spell as the clouds darkened even more, and the tornadoes became more intense as the ground started shaking.

"Heaven's Fall." Meliodas uttered as his claws were brought down, and right after meteors came from the sky and rained down upon the darkness that had been condensing itself. The barrage soon ended with smoke rising from the ground. Meliodas then heard deep laughter, a laugh that sent a brief chill down his spine as he held his sword in front of him.

"Foolish boy. Need I remind you again? The Ruler is absolute! Unless I wish it...this power shall always remain active! Turning damage into healing...de-strengthening turns into power! You stand no chance!" The Demon King roared, clearing the smoke and revealing his smaller form. Fiery red eyes and his grayish armor were laced with small holes that glowed a bright red-orange. His horns went through his helmet and his beard flowed with the wind. Meliodas snarled in anger as he used his claws to coat his sword in a fiery darkness. His father coated his sword in purple lighting as the two started to clash. The destruction they brought upon the realm was unparalleled, nothing would ever rival it, and no being could ever dare step foot into their vast power.

"I will rip out your hearts and destroy them one by one before your eyes." Meliodas coldly said as he broke the clash and launched multiple balls of fire. He could feel his father's smirk, his condescending eyes on him at his attack. Or was it his threat? Not that it mattered, but Meliodas knew that his Father wasn't taking him seriously, despite him being equal in power.

"Rip out my hearts? Hehehe...Hahahahaha! You will find nothing there!" The Demon King roared before increasing his power. The hail storm became far more violent as did the lightning. Gowther and Chandler knew that no barrier they could conjure together would be good enough to protect any demons hurrying to safety. The two shared a look before they nodded.

"We stay here any longer, and we will cease to exist."

"Indeed. Let us leave Gowther. This realm, and whoever didn't make it, shall soon be gone." Chandler replied as the two walked through their portal. Just as they left, it started to close, allowing only a few more demons to escape before closing entirely. Once it was closed, the remaining survivors stared in shock before the true horror of their fate had settled in. There was no saving them or the realm. The two kings who fought so far away, the two who still caused unrivaled destruction, were going to erase their very existence as a byproduct of their battle. There was no longer an escape, and it slowly turned the soon-to-be dead into a frenzy.

But, even as pleas of the many, and even the attempted escapes went unnoticed by the monsters in battle. Meliodas started to realize that the Demon Realm was becoming more unstable as they continued to fight. He could feel, and occasionally see, the bits of nothingness that would appear through cracks in the ground and the sky. This wouldn't kill his Father, his fight in the Dimensional Gap proved that, and he knew that it would only be a matter of time until he managed to return.

This needed to end. And he knew just how to do it.

Play Song-Perfect Time

Meliodas slammed his fast into his Father's stomach, releasing blood from the elder demon's mouth before knocking him through a multitude of buildings with his gold claws. He immediately flew into the air until he was high above the small kingdom. He created two clones to occupy his Father while he concentrated his powers through his claws. Having done it before against Sirzechs, creating a sun wasn't going to be that hard, but with the amount of power he wanted to use he knew that he needed a bit of time.

BOOM!

The Demon King exploded from the building he was in and annihilated his surroundings with his magic. He regained his senses and immediately blocked two swords from clones of his child before blasting one of them away with dark magic. He chuckled in amusement, believing that Meliodas was becoming cowardly and that he started using clones to fight his battle. He would've taunted him, but he started sensing powerful magic in the sky, and he glanced to the sky and saw the original Meliodas with two, condensed balls of fire between his golden claws. They changed from a bright orange to a dark purple. He looked back down to the clone after hearing it chuckle.

"What do you find so amusing?"

"You think you're invincible, that's what's funny. I'll admit, against just about any opponent, The Ruler would allow you to come out victorious in any battle. However, we both know that it can't save you from complete erasure." Meliodas explained as his father raised a brow. He kicked away the clone before staring at the original, and the longer he stared he realized what the dark purple power was.

"N-No!" The Demon King roared as he jumped towards his son. He coated his sword in purple lightning, and even extended its range and took off his son's head. However, it faded away, revealing itself to be a clone as the real Meliodas appeared, with three more clones, and punched the elder demon across the sky He regained his balance and glared daggers at his son who dispersed his clones. How dare he trick him with a clone in the sky! Now he was going to properly make sure that his death was as agonizing as it could be.

"You sounded pretty scared Father. I guess my true magic does scare you." Meliodas taunted with a playful smirk that aggravated his father even further. The two clashed swords as they flew around, destroying the realm even further as they blasted each other with magic. Even as their home dimension was breaking down, they didn't let up, knowing that there could only be one king to remain standing.

Meliodas once again smirked as he created three more clones. Two of them kicked their father in the stomach and his jaw, with the third following before encasing his golden claw in purple fire and slamming it into his father's chest; his armor shattering as he was sent flying into the air. He snarled in anger as he brought his hands together, creating a blistering ball of heat before bringing it over his head where it drastically grew in size.

"May both you and this realm...burn in hell!" The Demon King roared as he threw his attack at Meliodas. Meliodas stared at the attack with emerald eyes, while it would be easy to reflect it, his father's defensive state would increase twice as much as what he had. Instead, he brought his claws above him as he recreated the purple orb his clone had created in the sky. He cast it forward where it collided against the large sun, but to the Demon King's surprise, his attack started disappearing.

He suddenly felt a presence behind him as he backhanded his son. He quickly turned around and slit his throat, only for it to fade away as he felt himself bound by golden claws and magic. He struggled to free himself as two Meliodas appeared in front of him. He glared at them both, not knowing which was real but was angered by them both nonetheless.

"Release me at once!"

"As you wish Father." Meliodas compled as he released his Father from his claws...and promptly encased him in a sphere of magic. The Demon King immediately tried to free himself, but he struggled to do so as he felt the sphere start to condense on himself. He spread out his arms and started channeling all of his remaining magic in hopes of either destroying the sphere or preventing it from destroying him. He knew what he was encased in, and while his efforts in a weakened state were noteworthy, it was ultimately futile.

"And now Father, may you fall with the realm you created." Meliodas apathetically said as he watched his Father slowly become nothing. He looked around to see his home dimension crumbling and burning away to nothingness. He could hear the screams of his fellow demons, wanting to be saved as there was nothing but anarchy around them. Meliodas only closed his eyes and sighed, then he turned back to the elder demon, who was still trapped in the sphere of destruction.

Meliodas's Father glared holes into his son. His anger was beyond words and stared at Meliodas, his executioner, and growled. He refused to accept defeat, he refused to acknowledge it, and he wouldn't allow Meliodas the satisfaction. But before he could implement his quick idea, he saw Meliodas raise one of his golden claws as it glowed a dark purple. The two stared at each other for a few seconds before Meliodas closed his claw and the sphere collapsed in itself, completely erasing the former Demon King from existence.

Meliodas slowly relaxed after a few seconds as he opened a portal behind him. He gave one last stare at the Demon Realm before he left it to its fate, returning to his new, planetary kingdom.

Chapter End

Author's Note: Well, I think that was a decent battle and ending. I know full well that it took months for this chapter to be released, and no one should be surprised. I not only have other things in my life, but I also haven't had much time anyway, still, this story is almost finished. The next chapter is the final one and will bring this story of the destruction and conquering of a realm to an end.

The chapter might've been a bit longer, but I knew that it was procrastinated on long enough. Not much to say, nothing else to add except for that the last chapter of the story is being worked on.
