Night #9 - New York
Moments later, we can now see the contestants and the hosts in a huge building. It almost looks as if it was a huge school.
"And welcome, everyone," Chris says to the camera before turning back to the contestants. "To Brooklyn Academy!"
The final seven contestants all looked around in awe, except for Evander that is.
"I've seen this place before." He huffed before crossing his arms. "It's really nothing special."
Faith on the other hand, glanced at the hosts. "So… what's the challenge? Are we gonna sing something or…?"
"Nope!" Don answered, earning a sigh of relief from most of them. "Today's challenge is… Hide and Seek! You can hide anywhere in this whole school, but you must have your phone on camera so you could do confessionals and so that the viewers will know where you will be hiding. The hosts and I will be the ones seeking. Last person to be found gets immunity."
The contestants were now given back their phones that the hosts held onto since the beginning of the season. Clayton, however, bursted into small giggles.
"Something funny, maggot?" Chef shot a glare at him. The emo quickly changed his expression into a stoic one in less than a second, prompting weird glances from everyone else.
"Nope. This is literally child's play. That's all." He confirmed.
"Well, I'm pretty confident that people like you won't be able to hide into small spaces." Sal remarked, pointing at Evander.
"I hate to say it, but you're right." The ballerino nodded and made a fist. "But I'm not losing to you."
"Wow," Olivia was still looking at the vast building. "This place is indeed fasonating."
"You mean fascinating?" Mairead peeped up, but was completely ignored by the psychological expert.
Xavier looked at the hosts suspiciously. "So… how much time do we have?"
"Your twenty minutes of hiding starts… now!" Candela shouted, ignoring (and practically answering) Xavier's question, earning a huge groan from the outcast.
*Opening Theme*
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine
We get an overview of the theater which showed Candela, Chris, Don, and Chef bowing as they finished a performance. The crowd applauded as well.
You're always on my mind
The scene changes to the lobby, where Oli was flirting with Amanda and Vivianne but eventually receives a slap from both of them. The two girls left instantly while the boy just shrugged.
You asked me what I wanted to be
The camera then pans out to the backstage where Mairead was busy reading a book. Arreis then comes out of nowhere and scares the preppy girl, causing her book to fly towards the camera.
And now I think the answer is plain to see
The book hits the camera and falls off, revealing the scene to be outside the theater. Clayton is seen sitting on the bench playing his phone and Xavier sitting distantly from him. None of the two were making interactions until they both left.
I wanna be famous
The camera heads for a challenge location, Musical Valley, where Sal, Olivia, and Meredith were flying a kite. The kite then hits a tall tree and gets stuck, making the three contestants frown.
I wanna be a rising star
The scene changes to Instrument Hills and Kimmie is seen sitting down on the grass, enjoying the view she got. In less than a second, Faith accidentally bumps her as she was getting away from Evander who was chasing her. The three all fell and rolled down the hill.
Go pack your bags, I've already gone far
The camera pans out to Harmony River where Samuel, Spear and May were arguing. Later on, a bird hits May's head making her gasp in shock and falls into the rushing water. Samuel grabs her hand to save her but fails and falls with her. Spear however, just cackles but lost his balance and fell as well.
Everything to prove, what can you say?
Later, Gabe was now seen resting on a rock in Clef Cave, but Robert accidentally trips over him. Unfortunately for them, a horde of bats start to chase them, making the two run out of the cave for their lives.
I'll be there one day
After a few minutes, Gabe returned to the cave with Samuel, Faith, Evander, Kimmie, and Olivia. They all attempted to make a fire but failed since the bats came back. They all ran away in horror.
'Cause I wanna be famous
Mairead, Clayton, Vivianne, Xavier, May, and Robert were now seen having a picnic on Instrument Hills but it suddenly rained and the six ran away, leaving everything behind.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!
The camera pans back to Musical Valley, where Arreis, Oli, Meredith, Amanda, Sal, and Spear were running away from a pack of wolves.
I wanna be (a star!), I wanna go far, I wanna be famous
Fast clips of the contestants one by one can be seen. The clips show them waving at the camera or doing their respective poses in various places.
I wanna soar (high!), and reach for the sky, I wanna be famous
The hosts can be seen arguing until a spotlight hits them, making them realize that they were on the stage. Luckily though, no one was there except for them.
*whistling in tune*
After a few minutes, all twenty two characters can be seen on the stage for their cast picture. When the camera flashes, the logo of Total Drama: Musical Impact appears with a white glow behind it and several musical notes around it. The blurred cast picture served as background.

Episode 15: Certified Backstabber
"I guess strategy wins this time." -?

The teens rushed further into the lobby, and split up, the camera following Evander as he started running through the corridors whilst holding his phone in place, in order for the viewers to see what he was up to.
The bulky teen ran across a corner and found an air vent. He faced his phone, making a confessional.
Evander: "I have found my hiding spot." He panted. "The problem is, I have no idea how to get up there. There isn't any sign of a table of chairs or anything so… I'm dead."
The ballerino sulked under his breath and made a leap of faith towards the open air vent. To his dismay, he missed and slipped.
"OOF!"
TIME LEFT: 17:48
Mairead was still running around the halls like a little kid who got lost away from his mommy. She was currently on the second floor. She then suddenly crashed into a random man, causing her phone to fall.
"O-oops! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you!" The preppy girl quickly apologized. The man gave her a rather disapproving look, making Mairead gulp and dash away.
Mairead: "That was AWFUL!" She hissed. "I'm sure you all saw his face, right!? He is scary as heck!"
The camera continues to follow the preppy girl as she finally approaches the door. Hesitating a bit, she opened the brown door and stepped into the dark room.
Turning on her phone's night vision light, she made herself shimmy all the way into a corner of a desk and hid under it, hoping that she wouldn't get found.
TIME LEFT: 15:01
Three minutes had passed, and the we now cut to Faith who appears to be hiding in a secret compartment. It appears to be a bit small, as the percussionist was rather glad that she was small enough to fit.
Faith: "This is a GREAT hiding spot!" She squealed towards her phone, unable to hide her happy expression. "I'm sure they won't be able to find me! Although I do hope that I won't run out of air in here, this place seriously looks cramped."
Unable to stretch her legs, the percussionist sat in a fetal position, clutching her phone tightly. She then remembered one thing.
"Oh shit, how am I gonna get out?"
TIME LEFT: 13:59
Clayton however, had much of a hard time finding a good hiding spot. He was already on the stairs, going up to the second floor when he apparently found Olivia, who was already in it.
"Hey, Olivia!" He shouted and ran up towards her.
"Oh, it's you." Olivia nodded, the psychological expert apparently having a hard time finding a hiding place as well. "What brings you to this next upper floor?"
"Can't find a hiding spot." Clayton shrugged. "Wanna go look for one together?"
"It will be my pleasure." Olivia nodded as the two then started to run across the second floor, in hopes of finding a good spot.
Clayton & Olivia: "So apparently, we ran into each other on the second floor." Clayton began. "So if she's found, then I'm found as well."
"But we also agreed to split up if necessary." Olivia added. "We are on the merge. There's no way working together is a very good suggestion."
Clayton scratched the back of his head, not knowing what in the world was she talking about. "...Right..."
TIME LEFT: 11:10
Xavier was wandering around the first floor, still looking for a spot. Upon turning into a corridor, he found someone that he should be worried about.
"Xavier!" Sal shouted from the other side.
"Shit." Xavier hissed, running from the opposite direction from Sal, hoping to outrun him.
"Hey, wait!" Sal shouted from behind.
Xavier ran along in a corridor and found an air vent. He quickly jumped in, surprised that he made it up so easy, and took a small peek to see if Sal was still there.
"Xavier!?" Sal shouted, but he couldn't find him anymore.
The outcast on the other hand, smirked in delight. He turned to his right and saw someone else next to him.
"Oh, hey Evander." He said in a whisper, whilst Evander had a finger to his lips in a shushing motion.
Xavier & Evander: "How did you get up here?" Xavier asked.
Evander panted a bit. "Believe me or not, it took me about a million jumps to get up here."
"Well… no offense but, have you thought of a way back down?" Xavier asked Evander, the bulky boy barely fitting the space in the air vent.
"Uh… no…?"
Sal: "So, I lost him. Great." He sighed, then a small beep came in from his phone. "I… am officially low on battery. Fantastic."
TIME LEFT: 09:34
Mairead rested her head on the desk. This was taking forever.
The preppy girl decided to open up her phone and play a game installed on it.
"No one can see me playing… right?" She whispered to herself, and continued to play with her game.
Suddenly, the door in the room opened, making the preppy girl flinch a little. After a few seconds, the door closed once more.
Mairead: She was shaking a bit. "Who was that?"
TIME LEFT: 07:45
Faith could feel her body aching just by staying in a fetal position for who knows how long.
Faith: "Not gonna lie, I'm actually starting to wish that I'm gonna be the first one found. I can't stand it in here. I'd rather get my hair bleached than stay in here for an hour… oh wait. My hair is bleached. Who am I kidding..."
"Ugh, this is pointless." She murmured to herself as she quickly turned on her phone's flashlight. "Curse this compartment for tempting me to hide in here." She added, adding a weak kick on to the compartment's walls.
TIME LEFT: 05:29
Clayton and Olivia were currently hiding in a huge backstage in a theater room.
The emo boy turned on the night vision of his phone. "They will definitely overlook us in the dark."
"We will definitely split up if your assumptions are incorrect." Olivia crossed her arms, not liking their hiding spot.
"Whatever you say." Clayton sighed, hoping for the worst to not come.
Clayton & Olivia: "This hiding spot by far, is futile." Olivia commented.
Clayton scratched the back of his head. "Suit yourself, this isn't Ridonculous Race by the way."
"Hmm?"
TIME LEFT: 03:33
Back to Xavier and Evander in the air vent, the two were chatting for a bit and shushing each other at every loud remark the other makes and vice versa.
"Do you think Sal is still here?" Xavier whispered.
Evander shrugged. "Let's hope he's not."
The two fell eerily silent for a bit.
"So… mind telling me why you rigged the votes to Amanda?" Xavier asked.
Evander easily flinched, which caught Xavier's eye. He didn't want him to seem like a weakling to him, hence he should be the one sabotaging Sal, not aligning with him.
Xavier & Evander: "He threatened me to get eliminated if I didn't do it." Evander admitted with his head low.
"Well… that's selfish…?" Xavier responded.
TIME LEFT: 01:13
Sal at this point, was beyond frustrated. He didn't want to hide on a higher floor, but at the same time, he had nowhere to go.
Opening up a random door just next to the stairs and entering the room, he sighed a bit.
"Well… I hope this classroom isn't easy to find." He sighed, hiding under the teacher's desk.
Sal: "Literally the worst hiding spot so far… plus this classroom is in the middle of the hallway and the stairs are right next to it."
TIME LEFT: 00:10
The hosts were looking at the clock, which was about to strike into the next hour.
"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" They all shouted.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Chris joked, but everyone cringed so hard at him for ruining the mood.
"Yeah, that literally gave me the comedy show of Episode 2 vibes and because of that," Candela whips up her phone, and records a voice message saying "WE'RE COMING FOR YOU!" before sending it to the remaining cast members.
"So… we'll split up?" Don asks the other hosts.
"Yup." Candela nodded, in response to her co-host's question. "I'm gonna go for the second floor."
"Chef and I will look around here." Chris added, and grabbed Chef's arm. "C'mon we got some seeking to do."
"Wait up, maggot!" Chef yelled, completely unaware that he just called Chris a maggot.
Don shrugged as he saw the three hosts left, and then had an idea.
Don (Host): "Maybe I should go look for the interns…"
Sal sighed, his back aching from staying under the desk for so long. He rolled his eyes in frustration as he was also unable to know how much time they have left in hiding.
Feeling a bit confident that no one else was present, he stood up away from the teacher's desk and stretched his back.
"Ugh, I should probably hide somewhere else." He said to himself, but jerked up when he saw the door open, revealing no one else but Candela.
"Found you." She smirked. "I was about to go to the second floor, but this room was already next to the stairs."
"Wait… you guys are seeking already!?" Sal shot up, his eyes widening. "But-"
"Well, you're the first one found so you're out." Candela told him and urged the boy to come out.
"I was the first one out!? What!?" He shouted, but Candela dragged him back to the first floor. "Do I get eliminated from the game?"
"I don't know." The hostess plainly stated.
There was a room in the first floor for everyone who were found, which was a reading room with a couch, a table, some bookshelves, and a few armchairs.
"Stay here till we find everyone else." Candela demanded. Sal just shrugged as he went in the room and sat on the couch. Candela snickered as she locked the door and got out her phone to facetime the remaining campers.
"Attention, campers! Sal has been found. One down, six more of you to go." She announced.
Faith: "What? Sal got found already?" She then cheered. "YES!"
Clayton & Olivia: Olivia grinned from ear to ear. "Whoever found him, I thank you."
Clayton just nodded along. "Same."
Xavier & Evander: "At least he didn't end up hiding in here with us." Xavier laughed.
"Yeah, otherwise, we would've been found too." Evander added.
Mairead: "Nice!" Mairead sighed in relief. "I wonder how the rest are doing."
Speaking of Mairead, the preppy girl continued to play on her phone, when she heard some movement happening behind her.
Mairead turned around and gasped loudly of who she saw.
"Shh! Don't make a sound!" Eden shushed her.
"Wait, if you're here, where are the other interns?" Mairead asked.
"Well… if you want to know what we were doing, we were trying to find Hah by blending in to the challenge. He has caused nothing but mayhem." The agent answered, sitting on the desk.
"Is he the one that caused Vivianne and Meredith's eliminations?"
Eden sighed, nodding afterwards. "Yup. The rest of the interns and I are trying to get him fired."
Mairead widened her eyes at the sudden revelation. "Wait… what? I thought Samuel or Sal caused it!"
"Well… let's just say that Hah's worse than both of those two knuckleheads combined." Eden shrugged. "Anyway, I gotta go find the others. See ya."
"Yeah, see ya." Mairead waved weakly as Eden dashed out of the room.
Xavier turned to Evander.
"We need to find a way out. I don't think this is a great place to hide." The outcast sighed.
Evander nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you're right. It's really cramped in here. Hold on, I'll go out first."
The beefhead then shimmyed his way to the opening, making a few squeaks here and there causing the vent to shook a bit. The bulky boy then slipped backwards. Xavier gasped in worry as Evander now had his feet dangling from the vent.
"Wait! Ev-"
Xavier was interrupted by a few footsteps approaching the hall. He quickly tried to help Evander go back up.
...
Don was walking in the hallway until he saw someone's feet dangling from above.
"Hey, who's that!?" He yelled. "Evander?"
The host looked above him and indeed saw Evander, who sighed.
"Ugh." Evander groaned in frustration.
"Is anyone up there with you?"
Suddenly, Xavier stuck out his head. "I am."
"Then, both of you are found. Sorry guys, room's this way." Don told them as he started to help them get off the air vent.
Later on, Don led them to the room where Sal was.
"Hey Sal, got some buddies here for you." Don said.
Once both Evander and Xavier entered the door, both boys plus Sal all shrieked in unison.
"NOOOO!"
Don snickered as he began to facetime everyone else.
"As of right now, Evander and Xavier have both been found. Which means, only four of you left to go!" he said through facetime.
Clayton & Olivia: Both of them looked at each other in surprise.
"What." Clayton said.
Olivia got up. "That's it. We're splitting up."
Mairead: "Wait… Evander and… Xavier!? What!" She shouted in frustration.
Faith: "Well… too bad for them, at least they're not as bad as Sal. Oh well. It is what it is."
Clayton and Olivia were now seen tiptoeing outside the theater room.
"You go that way, I go this way." Clayton told her.
"If I get caught, I'm sending you into blame." Olivia sneered.
Clayton just smacked his forehead. "Fine. Just… don't even try to get caught."
The emo then took off, heading left while Olivia began heading right. Both were secretly hoping that the other would get caught, though.
Faith sighed, thinking of what to do in the compartment. Suddenly, she heard some voices passing by.
"Hey Chef, let's check this thing that looks like a treasure chest." Chris's voice was heard.
"Yeah, let's see."
Faith flinched. She was inside the treasure chest's side compartment. She crossed her fingers, hoping that she wouldn't get found.
The percussionist could feel the treasure chest moving a bit.
"Gosh, this thing's heavy." Chris groaned. "Hey Chef. Let's open this thing up."
Chef quickly complied, as he lifted the treasure chest's lid, only to gasp.
"Hey Chris, there's no one in here!" Chef told him.
"Impossible. Why is it so heavy then?" Chris wondered, but then shrugged. "Oh well. Let's just look around somewhere else."
The two hosts then left the room. As soon as the coast is clear, Faith couldn't hold back her laughter and burst out.
Faith: "Oh my god. They actually didn't even bother to look at the side compartment! They're so stupid!" she laughed. "Okay, time to get out of here. But how…?"
Faith then proceeded to kick the chest from inside so hard that the chest tumbled sideways, landing with a thud.
Faith: She clutched her head. "I'm okay!"
Chris was walking along with Chef in a hallway and suddenly pulled out his phone.
"Attention, performers! We'll give you five minutes to move into a different hiding spot, but try not to get caught by any of the hosts!"
Chef widened his eyes at the sudden decision. "You serious about that?"
"Yup."
Mairead had her head on the desk. She quickly tapped her fingers against it, thinking of another plan.
Mairead: "That's it. I'm outta here."
The preppy girl ran outside the room. She went cautiously on the hallway and looked at the railing on her right, which gave her a small view of the first floor.
She gasped at who she saw. It was Chris and Chef!
The two hosts were talking to each other and stopped as soon as they saw the preppy girl. Mairead widened her eyes and ran.
"Hey, wait! Stop!" Chris shouted and the two hosts ran towards the staircase.
Mairead was losing hope at that second, and as soon as she made a right turn, she immediately saw the hosts on the staircase. Turning back to run away again, the hosts finally caught up to her.
"Well, no luck in running now?" Chef cackled. "You're the fourth one found."
"I guess that's good." She sighed as she was brought to the reading room.
Chef decided to makke the announcement. "Attention everyone! Mairead has been found. Only Faith, Clayton, and Olivia remain now!"
Faith: "Mairead got found? Oh no."
Clayton: "I guess that means we're close to winning. Let's just hope the other two get found."
Olivia: "That's sad. But that just means it's me against two others."
In the reading room…
The door opened as Mairead entered. Xavier grinned and gave her a hug.
"Where were you hiding?" he asked.
"I was hiding in some sort of office room. I knew I shouldn't have left." The preppy girl sighed.
Evander patted her back. "That's fine. At least you didn't hide in somewhere where you couldn't fit."
Xavier stared at the bulky boy's odd remark.
"Yeah, whatever." Evander then turned his attention to Sal, who was looking for a book in a bookshelf. "What's there?"
"Chapter books." He sighed, and grabbed a Harry Potter book from the shelf. "This sucks."
"Well… no offense but having you in this game kinda sucked." Xavier shrugged.
"You know what, I kinda regret being in this game. It changed me for the worst." Sal sighed and slumped on an armchair. "Sorry guys. Plus, I shouldn't have done that to Olivia in the basement of that ship."
Mairead widened her eyes, expecting the worst. "What did you do to her in the basement?"
Sal noticed this and shook his head. "Yeesh, Mairead! Relax! I'm not a rapist!"
Evander chuckled at his statement. "Yeah, whatever. Roll on."
Sal made a deep breath, regretting everything that he was gonna say. "I almost killed her if it weren't for Faith."
Xavier nearly fell out of his seat after hearing that. "What? Sal, that's… I don't even know what to say!"
"I know. You guys have every right to be mad at me and stuff. I even dragged Oli into this mess even though he wasn't supposed to be in there. Who knows, maybe he dragged Clayton, Robert, and Gabe in as well since I saw them talking before the incident with Meredith and Vivianne happened. I don't know what I'm doing."
Evander sneered at him. "And you forced me to void the votes against you. That's why Amanda got eliminated. You caused Spear's elimination too by turning your back on him. Not sure if you were also responsible for Samuel's elimination too but… don't you think you went a little too far?"
"I know, I'm sorry! It was a cheap trick! Just at least be glad I didn't even caused Arreis's elimination! Or even Robert and Gabe's! Not even Kimmie's. Hell, even I was in the bottom two with her that time." Sal smacked his forehead. "Don't even start telling me that I caused the fire in the theater. I seriously didn't. It was Chef."
"Yeah, well… he already got suspended after that. Now he's back to business." Mairead shrugged.
Everyone fell silent for a bit, but it broke as Xavier began to ask something.
"Hey, Sal."
"Yeah?"
"Did you pushed May in the basement and caused Vivianne and Meredith's injuries?" The outcast asked.
Evander widened his eyes, as if he was about to accuse Sal again. Mairead seemed to be pretty nervous about this, as she knew the answer behind it all because of Eden. She was planning on whther to tell them right now or not, or wait for the other three to arrive.
"Don't tell me that was your doing too! You were in the basement!" Evander shouted.
Mairead instantly went in between the bulky boy and Sal. "Stop! I know who did it!"
"What?" Xavier turned his attention to her. "Mairead, you know something we don't?"
The preppy girl sighed a bit before saying her side. "I found Eden in that office room I was hiding earlier. She and the other interns were also hiding from us. They were gonna try and get Hah fired because he caused it."
"Hah did what!?" Sal widened his eyes. "God, that intern must be screwed. Then again, why would they want to hide from us?"
"I think they don't want to get us involved. But I think we should help them. Probably explains why he's not showing up that much." Evander added. "Gosh, Dustin was right about him."
Xavier then brought another topic up. "Don't you guys think Hah did the same thing with that app fiasco?"
"The apps were in the theater. The theater already got burned to ashes. I kinda doubt that." Sal told him. "Didn't they already said that it was Maya? I thought Dean and Noah already confirmed that."
"I don't think so." Xavier shrugged. "Even Mara accused Maya because of that."
"Well… we don't know. Gosh, this show's already ending soon and there's still mayhem around. I don't even know if that program about our families is still going up!" Mairead said.
"Considering that this whole episode and the last one happened just today, I think they're gonna be postponing that…" Evander answered. "...and our performances. Maybe for the finale, I guess." He sighed and turned to Sal. "You know what, Sal? I forgive you."
Sal made a slight smirk after hearing this. "Well… thanks."
"Yeah, same here." Mairead smiled, and Xavier gave a nod of approval.
"Cool." Sal stood up and shared a fist bump with Evander, and a high five from both Mairead and Xavier.
After the moment of forgiveness, everyone calmed down into silence once more.
"I wonder how are the other three doing right now." Xavier wondered.
Chris and Chef were in the hallways once more, until they saw the treasure chest again.
"Hey is this the exact same treasure chest we saw earlier? That heavy one?" Chef asked.
"Yeah, why?" Chris asked him back, but immediately got his point when he saw one side of the chest looked beaten up. "Ohhhh snap."
Chef immediately went to it, and tried pushing. To his surprise, it was lighter than before. "And it became lighter too!"
Chris smacked his forehead. "Ugh, I told you someone was hiding in there earlier!"
"Why would I know? I didn't even know there was a side compartment when we first saw it!" Chef retaliated.
"You know what," Chris sighed. "Let's just find the other three already."
Chris: "I need to know who hid in there. Because damn, you got us good."
Clayton was in the hallway, and found a room. It appeared to be the school's gymnasium. The lights were still on, but there wasn't anyone in it.
"Guess this will have to do." He sighed to himself and ran into another room inside the gymnasium, where all the sports equipment were present.
Clayton: He kicked a basketball that was in the room and it bounced off.
"This is stupid."
Olivia was seen running in the halls, unable to look for a spot when she suddenly bumped into Faith, sending both girls on the ground.
"Ugh, why do I keep bumping into people?" Olivia groaned frustratingly.
"Yeah, I didn't even-"
Faith was cut off by another voice.
"HEY!"
The two girls jerked up. Olivia grabbed Faith's hand as the two made a dash for it as they saw Candela on the first floor, while they were on the second floor. They were currently in the same place where Mairead was found.
Don rushed in after Candela. "Who was that?"
"I don't know, I just saw a lot of feet." Candela said, squinting her eyes but groaned as both figures ran away. "Oh shit, they're running away. Come on!" The hostess said as she began running for the second floor with Don trailing behind.
Don grabbed his phone and called Chris.
"What?" Chris asked.
"Candela and I just saw two people. We're coming after them now. Meet us in the second floor near the staircase." Don said.
"Got it. We'll be there in a sec." Chris answered as he hang up.
The camera pans to Olivia and Faith who were both running.
"This was stupid. Now they're coming for us." Faith panted.
Olivia then stopped, and pointed at an air vent, which seemed slightly wider than the one Xavier and Evander were on earlier. "Up there."
Faith grabbed a chair that was in the hallway and placed it under the air vent. The percussionist then leaped on the chair and quickly hoisted herself up. Olivia followed as well with the help of Faith. The two girls then proceeded to crawl away as fast as they can.
In the meanwhile, Don, Candela, Chris, and Chef eventually met up on the same hallway, and found the chair in the middle.
"What the hell is a chair doing here in the middle of the hallway!?" Chris shrieked and kicked the chair so hard that it went tumbling on to the side.
"Fucking idiot. Of course they used the chair to boost themselves up to the air vent." Candela ranted, smacking her head in the process. "Suck it. I'm following them."
The hostess grabbed another chair, leaping on it, and entered the air vent in attempt to follow the two. "You three, go find Clayton or something."
"Aye aye captain." Chris rolled his eyes and the three ran.
Olivia and Faith were still crawling in the same air vent.
"Where do you think they are?" Faith asked.
"Of course they saw the chair and were skeptical about it!" Olivia answered. She was ahead of Faith. "Ugh, where to go now?"
Suddenly, they felt the air vent shook a bit.
"Someone's here with us." Faith gasped.
"Heeeey! I know you two are in here somewhere!" A voice called out.
"Shit. It's Candela." Faith sulked in her breath as Olivia turned back. "What are you waiting for? Crawl faster!"
"Okay, sheesh!" Olivia said frantically, beginning to crawl again as fast as she can.
Chris, Chef, and Don were running in the halls, when Don turned his attention to the gymnasium.
"Wait, have we checked in there?" He asked.
"Hm, good idea of thinking thay we should find Clayton." Chef nodded.
"You're seriously agreeing with him!?" Chris argued, but the two hosts went in anyway, leaving to trail behind. "Fine. You guys win."
The three hosts entered the gymnasium. It still looked empty as before. They began looking at every single nook and crany present in the gym.
"Hey, look! A room!" Chris yelled and point to the sports equipment room.
Clayton on the other hand, was still hiding in the ball cart. He could hear the three hosts from afar and thought that he was done for.
Suddenly, the door busted open, making Clayton jump up in shock a little. He hoped that they wouldn't hear him though.
Don walked over to some of the shelves full with equipment on them. He then heard a slight movement and turned back to see Clayton getting up.
"...Oops." Clayton gulped.
"Found him!" Don shouted, alerting Chris and Chef. "Come on, off to the reading room you go."
Chef (Host): "That was quick. Wonder what happened to Candela in finding the other two."
We now pan to the air vent once more.
"Stop right there!" Candela yelled at the two, who were now in sight. The hostess continued to crawl up to them.
Olivia tried to outrun (or in this case, outcrawl) the hostess by going through the left direction as soon as she found a fork in the road. She then made a right turn once she passed another, with Faith trailing behind.
Suddenly, she stopped.
"Huh? Olivia, why aren't you crawling?" Faith asked.
"Dead end." Olivia sighed.
"Shit!" Faith cursed. "What are we supposed to do? Turn back?"
"Can't turn back now!" Candela shouted, approaching them.
The two girls now looked at each other in fright, knowing that they have been found.
Candela suddenly chuckled to herself. "Oh come on! This is just hide and seek! Not tag! Besides, I'm not gonna kill you two! Jeez!"
As the hostess approached them, the air vent seemed to be shifting down a bit. Candela grabbed her phone and began to facetime them.
"Guys, I've caught Faith and Olivia. Now what?" Candela asked.
"Well, fair enough. Don just found Clayton in the sports equipment room." Chris said.
"So how do we settle this off?" The hostess asked.
"Hm, I think the best way to settle this off is that whoever brings the contestant into the reading room the last, that contestant gets immunity." Chris answered. "Besides, the gymnasium is near the reading room, and we have no idea where you guys are at."
Candela scratched her head in confusion. "So you're saying that if I bring these two there first, none of them would get immunity and Clayton wins?"
"Yup." Chris nodded. "See y'all there."
"Yeah." Candela rolled her eyes and hung up, turning to the two girls. "They found Clayton. So I should just take you guys to the reading room.
"Uhhhh... " Faith whimpered.
"What?" Candela turned to her. "We're going back anyways."
"But-"
Before Olivia could say anything else, the air vent suddenly broke open, three people being too heavy enough for the air vent to carry. Faith, Olivia, and Candela were sent falling down into the room below, crashing onto a table, causing dust and debris to fly everywhere and apparently, startling everyone in the area.
They were now on the reading room.
Evander coughed violently at the amount of dust in the room. "What the hell just happened?"
As soon as the dust cleared up, the three girls were revealed to the everyone in the reading room.
"Well, guess they were found." Xavier shrugged.
"You guys alright?" Mairead coughed a bit, fanning the dust away.
Olivia tried to get up, but failed as she fell again, feeling dizzy. "Not really…"
Faith rubbed her eyes weakly and rolled to the side. "What room is this?"
"The reading room." Candela groaned. "I think I broke my arm."
All of a sudden, the door bust open, revealing Chris, Chef, Don, and Clayton. The four looked shocked at the sight.
Chef panted as soon as he entered. "Hey, we just heard a crash- holy fuck!"
"Whoa, what happened here?" Clayton asked, looking at everyone.
"They happened." Sal immediately pointed at the three girls.
Chris widened his eyes. "What the heck have you three done?"
"Hey!" Candela shot up, clutching her arm in the process. "At least I found them!"
"So… who won?" Xavier asked the hosts.
"Technically, Candela, Faith, and Olivia found a shortcut to get to the reading room, and we only got here just now so…" Don began and turned his attention to the emo boy. "Clayton, you won immunity."
Clayton fist bumped himself. "Nice!"
"Also…" Chris turned to everyone. Candela, Faith, and Olivia were assisted by some of the others to sit down on the couch. "The first two that have been found… are eliminated from the game."
Sal immediately sulked. "You're serious?"
"Yup." Chris nodded. "However, since Evander and Xavier were found at the same time, Evander, you're taking sixth because we saw you first before Xavier revealed himself. Xavier, you're safe. So as of tonight, Sal and Evander, you guys are eliminated."
"That sucks." Evander said and turned to everyone. "Well, this game has been good. Wish to see you guys in the finale."
The bulky boy shared high-fives and fist bumps to everyone left.
Sal turned to Olivia, who dusted herself off. "Hey, I'm sorry for what happened."
Olivia just rolled her eyes. "What? You're giving me the "I've changed" façade again? Nope."
Sal sighed, but accepted it anyway as he nodded. "It's alright. You still have every right to be mad at me. I don't expect you to forgive me anyway."
"Evander, Sal, some of our producers are here to escort you off the building." Don said.
The two boys waved goodbye as they left the room.
"Now what?" Mairead asked the hosts.
"We have an elimination ceremony." Chef announced.
"A what? But two people have already been eliminated!" Xavier pointed out.
"We only have two or three more episodes." Chris shot back. "You have thirty minutes to decide. The elimination ceremony will take place downstairs because this place is messy as hell. And… someone get the medic for these three." He added as he pointed to the three who had just fell off from the air vent.
STAIRCASE - 30 MINUTES TO ELIMINATION
Clayton was currently sitting on the staircase. He then saw Faith and Olivia joining him. The two both had bandages and bruises everywhere.
"You guys alright?" Clayton asked them.
"Yeah, we're good." Faith answered. "Olivia was still a bit dizzy but they had her take some medicine. And I apparently had to have my neck checked because I kinda broke it, but no big deal."
"Cool." Clayton nodded. "So… have you guys decided on who should we vote for?"
Olivia sighed, resting her head on the railing. "I think we should vote for Xavier and Mairead."
"Why's that?"
"They look like they could be teaming up against us. Might as well strike first." Olivia shrugged.
"Hm, they're literally both the male and female version of each other." Faith pointed out.
"I think we should take out Mairead first. She's a stronger player than Xavier. Well, social-wise to say the least." Clayton suggested.
"This sucks. Both of them are our friends." Faith said, a bit saddened by the decision.
"There are only a few options left. We're all against each other right now, don't forget that." Olivia told her.
"So… Mairead?" Clayton asked them.
"Yup." The other two girls nodded.
Xavier was with Mairead just in the hallway next to the three.
"Who do you think they're voting off?" Xavier asked her.
"There's no doubt that they know we'll be voting together. I feel like they could target one of us." Mairead answered. "But Olivia and Faith seem pretty close to each other, which makes Clayton the wildcard vote."
"Olivia and Faith could really either target one of us or Clayton." The outcast pointed out. "But I think we should vote for either Faith or Olivia."
"Why so?"
"We can't vote for Clayton, since he has immunity. And think of it this way, is there some sort of chance that Clayton and Olivia would vote together? Same for him and Faith?" Xavier said.
"There is a possibility, Xavier." Mairead told him. "Ugh, they're all friendly. It sucks to eliminate one of them. Why can't we just win in a five-way tie?"
"I know. But I think we should stick on voting off Faith." Xavier answered. "Faith's porbably more closer to Clayton than Olivia is. Olivia and Clayton teaming up would probably work or not."
"I don't know… but I guess you have a point." Mairead shrugged. "Faith it is."
Elimination Ceremony #9 - 10:00PM, Brooklyn Academy Lobby
Everyone eventually met up in the lobby. All the remaining contestants sat on a couch. The hosts (except Candela, who had an arm cast) were standing in front of them. Candela was seated on an armchair.
"Welcome everyone to our… ninth… I think… elimination ceremony." Chris began. "Gosh, when was the last time we did this?"
"Anyway, go ahead and cast your votes, everyone." Don said. "Just remember, Clayton has immunity."
Voting Confessional
Clayton: "I don't know why I ended up aligning with Olivia and Faith, but Mairead… I wish you the best of luck outside the game."
Faith: "Mairead, you're awesome. Always keep that in mind, no matter who voted for you. I'm gonna miss you so much."
Mairead: "Faith, you were a great friend, but… I'm afraid this will be the last time I'll see you in this game."
Olivia: "I'm so sorry Mairead. You did good, but there's not a lot of options left."
Xavier: "I really don't want anyone to go but… I guess strategy wins this time. Sorry Faith."
End voting confessional
As Xavier went back to his seat, Chef began to read the votes.
"Let's see… Clayton, Xavier, and Olivia. You guys are safe with no votes."
The three of them breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they could be in the final four. But a look of worry was seen as Faith and Mairead were still in the bottom two. Both girls held hands with each other, wishing each other good luck.
"One of you two has three votes while the other has two. So our 5th placer of Total Drama Act I: Musical Imlact is...

The preppy girl stood up, unable to hold back her tears as the five remaining contestants shared a group hug.
Mairead went to Xavier, who started crying also. "I'm sorry Mairead."
"Shh… don't be sorry." Mairead sniffled as she wiped some his tears away with her thumb.
After this, Olivia and Faith ran up to the preppy girl, giving her a bone crushing hug.
"Mairead, I'm so sorry this happened." Faith sobbed.
"There were… literally no choices left!" Olivia chuckled but failed as she cried again.
"Shut up guys, it's not your fault." Mairead chuckled as she cried and turned to Clayton. "Look y'all even made Clayton cry!"
The emo shared a high five with Mairead as he wiped his eyes and sniffled. "I have no idea why I started crying when I saw all of you crying." He laughed.
The five of them shared one last group hug, the girls were in a crying mess while the other boys tried to hold back.
Candela (Host): "Lmao, look at all these pathetic losers bawling their eyes out." She laughed like a complete asshole, resting her broken arm on the armrest of the chair she was sitting on. She then recoiled her arm, hissing in pain, swearing at every second. "FUCK! SHIT! FUCKING SHIT! AFJNXTOTQGJRDJUWCJ! *screams in keyboard slam*"
Chris, being the sadistic bitch he is, yelled at them. "Alright, that's enough crying! Yeesh! How many tears y'all have!?"
The five contestants broke the hug as Mairead was led out of the building. Chef and Don on the other hand, started crying as well.
"Sorry Chris, that elimination ceremony is just… sad!" Chef cried.
"Chris… you… YOU HAVE NO HEART!" Don sobbed.
"Yeah, yeah. I know. Where's Candela?" Chris asked.
"She went to the confessional to laugh at everyone crying." Chef stopped crying and turned to the camera. "Anyway, three people were eliminated today, and now we're heading onto the final four!"
Chris then joined in. "How will our four finalists fare out? We'll we find the interns in time? When will Candela stop swearing? Find out next time in…"
"TOTAL DRAMA! ACT I: MUSICAL IMPACT!"
The screen fades to black, signaling the end of episode as the credits began playing on the screen.
