Elżbieta Stilinski let out an annoyed whine, swinging her hand back to swat at the offending fingers poking at her bare shoulder, invading her personal space.

She let out a growl and sprang up in her bed, watching as her younger brother jumped away from her angry batting hands. He grinned sheepishly at her glare.

"What, Styles? What could you possibly need while I'm trying to sleep? I worked twelve to twelve yesterday. I. Am. Tired." She ground out.

Stiles' grin just seemed to get wider. "Dad gave Scott and I permission to go look for his inhaler that he lost in the woods the other night."

She shrugged her shoulders and waved her hand, prompting him to continue.

"Yeah, and what does this have to do with me? You two are the idiots that went looking for a dead body, not me." She rolled her eyes. She would never understand what made Styles want to go out and see a dead body. Boys.

"Dad gave us one condition, Ellie." He smiled sheepishly.

Ellie let her head thump heavily against her palm. "God... Only if I came, right?" She bit out between clenched teeth.

Stiles got down on his knees dramatically and clasped his hands in front of him.

"Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!" He begged. "I'll never bother you while you sleep ever again!" He tried to bargain.

She huffed in exasperation. She glanced over at the clock and glared. She had only been asleep for a little over three hours. It was nearly 5 pm.

She flung the blankets off to the side and slid her legs over the edge of the bed. The bed that was calling for her to lay back down.

She pointed angrily at her brother. "You guys owe me. You're lucky I don't work tomorrow, or I'd say no."

He quickly bolted from the room with a shout. "Thank you!" Leaving before she could change her mind.

She chuckled softly. Despite her brother being an annoying, hyperactive shit, she adored him to pieces.

Ellie gave her outfit a look over before shrugging. She opened her closet and grabbed a dark blue cardigan. She threw it on and grabbed a pair of socks. She didn't feel like changing out of her sleep wear, but knew she shouldn't go hiking through the woods in flip flops.

The cardigan would help hide the fact that she wasn't wearing a bra underneath her tank top, though it would hardly be noticeable either way. She was pretty flat in the chest region.

Sleepily, she turned and followed after her brother.

"I'm going to kill them." Ellie seethed. Somehow, they had wandered off without her noticing, and now she was stumbling around with no idea which way was which. She didn't know these woods like the boys seemed to.

"Shouldn't be too hard to hide the bodies. No one would ever know."

She grumbled to herself as she continued walking.

The sound of crunching leaves under heavy feet froze Ellie in place. She turned slowly and spotted a man a few yards behind her.

Her heart skipped in her chest. He was beyond gorgeous and exactly her type. The bad boy type. Wearing a tight, black t-shirt that allowed her a perfect insight on the muscle hidden beneath, a leather jacket, and dark jeans. He also seemed to be wearing combat boots.

"What are you doing here? Huh? This is private property." Holy shit. His voice. She clenched her thighs and nervously started playing with the hem of her cardigan, looking down at the ground shyly.

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I had ventured away from the preserve. I was looking for a friends inhaler. He lost it in the woods a few days ago." She glanced up from the ground and startled. He had gotten closer and she could see the color of his eyes now.

They were a vibrant green... Or were they hazel? It did look like they were more than just green. They were beautiful.

Ellie was almost disappointed that his stubble wasn't more pronounced. She loved a man with short and well groomed facial hair.

A sudden breeze blew past, whipping Ellie's hair over her shoulders and into her face. She let out a little squeak and brushed her hair back so she could see.

The man tensed up and seemed to have to shake himself out of it. His expression was hard to read. His scowl seemed to be permanently in place, though she could have sworn she saw something flash across his eyes before it was gone. It was the slightest movement of his brows that gave him away.

She reached up instinctively as something was tossed her way. She glanced down at her hands in surprise. She hadn't expected to actually have caught what was thrown at her.

She unfurled her fingers and the inhaler was revealed.

Her head shot up, meeting his eyes once more. "Thank you." She whispered.

The man gave her a single nod. "Be careful out here. You never know what is lurking in these woods." And with those parting words, the man turned and stalked off.

A dopey smile drifted across her lips as she watched his retreating form.

"Dude!"

Ellie whipped around and spotted her brother and Scott as they approached.

"That was Derek Hale!" Stiles gestured vaguely toward where the man had just disappeared. "You guys know! He's only a few years older than us, Scott. His whole family burned to death in a fire like ten years ago!"

Ellie frowned. "Stiles. It was only six years ago, and shut up! He might be able to hear you!" She hissed. Derek hadn't left that long ago, and she knew that sounds could bounce around easily in the forest.

Stiles actually looked bashful. "Right. Sorry." She gave a heavy sigh and turned back towards where Derek went.

Stiles caught her looking and grinned. "Someone has a cruuuushhhh." He teased in a sing-song voice.

"Oh, hush." She glared at her younger brother. "He just... He is totally my type, okay? Tall, dark, brooding. And a leather jacket? He screams bad boy. I totally see him owning some sort of muscle car. He is my literal wet fantasy." Stiles fake gagged, and she slapped him playfully.

She looked off into the distance once more. "Though he needs some facial hair."

Stiles gave her a weird look. "Ew. Didn't picture you to be the type to like beards. You sure you don't wanna nab a biker?"

Ellie shuddered. "Ew gross." She walked closer and gave Scott his inhaler. "Not that type of facial hair. I like a well groomed man with a short beard. And with how dark Derek's hair is, I have no doubt he'd look amazing."

She walked past them, and headed back the way they'd come. Or where she thought they had come from.

"Now can we please get out of here? I am tired and want to sleep. I'm visiting Peter tomorrow and I'm gonna need the energy." She muttered out in sleepy frustration.

Stiles saddled up next to her and looped his arm through hers, prancing in step with her. God, he was always such a ball of energy. She was almost jealous.

"How is Dad #2 doing? I haven't been able to visit since school started. I miss the guy." He raised a brow in question.

"He's been responding to me more lately. I think he's starting to snap out of his catatonic state. He responds to yes or no questions and has been squeezing my hands."

Scott chuckled, and Ellie looked back at him, tilting her head curiously. "What?" She asked.

"Nothing. Nothing. But, are you sure Peter isn't your type instead of Derek?" Scott laughed at her disgust riddled frown.

"Ew, gross. He's figuratively Stiles and I's second dad." She shook her head adamantly. "Never say something like that again."

Stiles grinned. "Yeah, Scott. She likes Derek aged older men!" He yelped as he darted away from his sister's smacking hands and laughed as she chased him.

She shook her head fondly as she slowed. She took one last look over her shoulder, scanning the trees. "He's not even older than me.." She mumbled to herself. The Hale fire happened when Derek was barely even 15. That meant Derek was around 21 right now. Which made her older by about a year.

"Fucking A. They are definitely right though." She giggled to herself as she slapped her hands against her heated cheeks. She was glad the boys had darted off ahead of her. She always tended to ramble her thoughts out loud to herself.

"That man was seriously a sex toy with legs." She couldn't stop smiling. "Needs more facial hair though."
