All was quiet in the Rexton house. So quiet, it's almost like a graveyard. And why wouldn't it? Riddick was seen sitting on his couch with only his pants on with no shirt, while his friends stood before him. Shortly after his battle with Chompoid and returning home through the lake, his friends arrived in time to see him partially transformed back into his human form, which was a big shock to all of them.
And now here they are. Waiting for him to explain everything.
"...I'm sure you're very confused by what you just saw." Riddick said.
"Uh, yeah, that's the understatement of the CENTURY!" Alex exclaims.
"Riddick, what did we just see back there in the lake? How did you end up like…that?" Emily asked in sheer disbelief.
Riddick could see the looks of confusion on his friends' faces. They all wanted answers. Most of all Leona, Misato and Rachel who sat beside him, silently pleading to him to tell them. He sighs softly through his nose. He knew this day would come, and now it's time to face the music.
"You all might want to sit down. This is gonna be a lot to take in."
They all sat down on either a chair, the couch or on the floor while San and the other animals watched and waited for the story.
"It all started a few weeks ago on the day that I went to the beach…" From there Riddick began to explain everything to his friends, of how he became the dark kaiju Rexzilla.
As this went on we turn our attention outside in the forest, where a lone raccoon was seen foraging on the forest floor. The animal was sniffing the ground in search of food when it suddenly rose up when its ears picked up the sound of a rumble. It looks around, thinking that a predator was nearby. Then the ground around it began to shake. Frightened, the raccoon quickly runs as a large tendril bursts out from the ground, wraps itself around a tree and pulls it into the earth. A low rumbling growl was heard along with the sounds of wood being chewed on until all was silent.
We see the fabled city of Narim in a state of chaos as plumes of smoke and fire littered the city and helicopters and jets were flying.
[There is power to overwhelm and destroy the world's most shocking monsters!]
We see the army firing their weapons against a kaiju along with others behind it, as they were tearing the city apart. We see Riddick glaring at the rampaging kaiju before we zoom in on his face with his eyes shifting to slits and the title card appearing below him.
[Kokoro ga shinu yo Jibun no tamerai ga Hikigane ni naru yo]
We see Riddick walking by himself in the city with his friends talking among themselves, when we see his reflection replaced by his kaiju self, Rexzilla as they both gazed at each other.

We then see Leona, Misato, Rachel and their friends in various angles with monstrous shadowed figures behind them, and a lone figure with two otters on their shoulders, were overlooking the ocean.

The camera then shows general Garner standing with his soldiers gazing at the viewers, while we see Alan Maroni in his office with a vial of kaiju ooze, with a sinister smile on his lips.

We now see a group of people fleeing from the kaiju that were attacking their home, while Riddick calmly walks towards them before being bathed in reddish/purple black flames and was then replaced with Rexzilla who roars into the heavens.

Rexzilla was seen fighting kaiju after kaiju, while the military joined in the fray and fired their weapons. All the while Leona and the others watched on as their friend fought with all his might, and Maroni was seen throwing his arms wide open with a large tank of kaiju ooze behind him.
[Kore wa mirai soretomo yume? Kotae wa doko darou? Kore ga ima wo tamesu tobira kowasu no akeru no? Doushi you?]
We see an army of kaiju, aliens, mutants and robots surrounding Rexzilla who was joined with shadowed forms of unknown kaiju, while looming over them was a large shadow of a five-headed dragon-like kaiju as lightning flashed everywhere. Rexzilla's eyes glowed as did his spines before roaring defiantly and fires his atomic breath, as the scene switches over to Riddick, his friends and his kaiju self on top of the title card until everything fades into darkness.

It was now morning in the city of Narim as everyone was going about their usual business. While back at the Rexton household, we see Riddick along with his friends outside of his house. After what happened at the beach with Chompoid and Riddick explaining everything to his friends about how he ended up the way he did, things were very…odd for them.
"So, you mean to say that you came into contact with this…kaiju ooze that you oh-so-lovingly named, and it turned you into a Godzilla-like kaiju, which caused you to lose control, rampaged in the northern region of Narim, came back home after regaining your senses, and then turning into a kaiju again to fight off Vultorra, and decided to fight off whatever monsters come out of the woodwork. And the only one who knows about this is prof. Clarke. Have I left anything else?" Leona said to her boyfriend, recalling everything he told them last night about his sudden mutation.
"No. That was all true. And I'm sorry for not telling you. All of you." Riddick said solemnly.
They all stared at him in total silence and disbelief. This was all so much for them to take in. That their friend, their leader, was an honest to god kaiju. This kind of thing would only happen in science fiction or anime. But this? This was something else entirely.
"I…I don't get it, Riddick. Why did you keep this from us all this time?" James asked.
"To keep you all safe for one thing. And…I was worried that if you found out that I was the one who killed so many people that day…you probably wouldn't want to be around me anymore. Even now, I'm still trying to earn the trust from the people, but I know that many still think of me as nothing but a monster." He said before looking away from them in shame. "So, go ahead. Leave. Call out the army and lock me up. You probably don't want anything to do with a monster like me."
Before he knew it he felt a sharp slap on the face. This caused the other to jump back and Riddick saw it was Leona who was the one who slapped him with her head lowered.
"Leona, what-"
"You dumbass." Her words stopped him from saying anything as a few tears were falling from her eyes. "How could you even suggest that we leave you? That we'd ever abandon you just because of what you can turn into." She raises her head and tearfully glares at him. "Did you seriously think that I would EVER abandon you at all?!"
Riddick could only stare at her in silence when he felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Misato who tried her best not to let any tears out. "Kono yarō. What made you think we would treat you any different? Why? Why couldn't you have just told us from the start?! WE COULD'VE HELPED YOU! BAKA!" She shouted at him till her knees gave out and hugged his arm, tears falling from her eyes and uttering 'idiot' in Japanese.
Riddick felt someone hugging him and saw Rachel holding onto him with tears flowing from her eyes.
"I'm sorry if you think that way, and I'm sorry that my father sees you as such but I know you're doing your hardest to redeem yourself." Rachel sobs into his neck before looking into his eyes. "But no matter what you think we'll never abandon you or think any less of you."
"They're right bossman." Alex spoke up with him and the others walking up to Riddick. "Despite everything that's happened, we're not leaving you to the wolves."
"Yeah. What Alex said." Harvey agrees.
"We've been friends for years now and we always look out for each other. So no matter what, we'll always stick by you." Emily assures him.
Riddick was taken aback by the sheer amount of loyalty his friends showed. He was half-expecting them to really leave him and turn him over to the army and never wanted to see him again, but no, they proved him wrong and banished whatever fears he had. He let out a soft chuckle before pulling Leona, Misato and Rachel into a hug and they returned it. "Thanks guys."

However, their little moment was ruined when Riddick went ramrod and his eyes narrowed when he sensed something. Something within the forest. And it wasn't just him either. San's fur was bristling as she bared her fangs and started growling loudly. Baja and Sly started hissing and Frida's feathers were ruffled as she shrieked loudly.
This caught everyone's attention when they heard the animals acting up and Riddick glaring in the direction of the forest.
"Babe? W-What's wrong?" Leona asked when she noticed his eyes slowly gaining a darkish hue around his red color.
Riddick wordlessly breaks away from Rachel and Misato and walks towards the direction he was staring at before stopping a few feet from his friends. He stood there like a statue when the ground started rumbling. He sensed something coming. Something…from below!
At the edge of the woods the ground erupted, causing everyone to jump back in shock when they saw something rising up from the ground. It was a giant worm rising up to 4 stories with pinkish/brown skin, on its back were 12 tendrils flailing around in the air, it had a strange rib-like carapace which was odd for a worm to even have. Its mouth was circular and filled with four large tusk-like teeth and an inner mouth full of sharp teeth.
"A….A KAIJU!" Alex and Harvey screamed in fright.
Rachel shrieks in shock and fright as she holds onto Misato's arm with both her friends shielding her.
"It's a worm this time." Leona groans in disgust while standing beside her bespectacled friend.
James stood by Emily who was shaking at the sight of the hideous worm before them while the animals stood beside them.
The worm let out a shrieking howl in the air, scaring the animals in the forest and turning its attention towards the young humans, intending on feeding on them.

Riddick let out a low growl as he glared at the mutated worm who dared to trespass on his land. He charges at the worm intending on either driving it away or killing it, ignoring the cries of his friends when they saw him running towards the worm. He shouts while jumping to punch the worm only to be struck by the worm's tendrils, sending him crashing back to his friends.
"Riddick!" Leona exclaims as she, Misato and Rachel quickly run to his side. When she tried to reach out to him she saw him rise back up, growling loudly as the wound on his torso had healed and opens his eyes, which revealed a pair of red and black eyes. She backs away from her boyfriend when his teeth had turned sharp.
The worm roars at him while slapping one of its tendrils on the ground as if to taunt him.
Riddick roars at the worm while ripping his shirt off.
Leona and the girls went back as they knew what would come next.
The red eyed teen's skin started to change to a dark gray/blackish color as scales were forming, his body started to grow and expand while his hair falls off his head, his face twists and contorts as it was slowly turning into a short and semi-elongated snout, he grew and grew before his friends' eyes while his pants were torn to shreds and a long slender but powerful tail grew out and two of his shoulder spines were the only things that popped out. Riddick was now an 18 almost 19 meter tall monster!
He wasn't his full kaiju form however, he was more of a pseudo form of his kaiju self, a more smaller and slender version compared to his gigantic self.
Leona and the others watched in awe from their friend changing into this pseudo form. They knew he could change into his kaiju form at will now from what he explained to them, but they didn't think he could be capable of doing something like this.
Riddick roars at the worm who roars back and flails its tendrils in the air. The shifter then runs at the worm with thundering steps, his pseudo form allowed him to reach the worm quicker as he was much faster in this form. He jumps in the air to avoid a tendril and lands a powerful kick to the worm's head who shrieks in surprise, then he tackles the worm who wraps its tendrils around him as it rises out from the ground. The worm was as long as 2 subway trains which was impossible to measure since half of its body was underground.
The two kaiju were wrestling with each other in the forest, tearing down trees in their wake while the others stayed behind as the chaos unfolds before them.
"C'MON BOSS MAN! KICK THAT THING'S ASS!" Alex shouts over the fight.
"SHOW EL GUSANO WHO'S KING AROUND HERE!" Harvey shouts along with his friend.
This made the other look at him dumbfoundedly.
"El Gusano? Really? That's what you're calling it?" Leona deadpans in disbelief.
"You know that name is taken, right?" Misato mentions a certain mutant worm from an animated show in the 90s.
Harvey shrugs sheepishly. "It was the only thing I could think of. What do you expect?"
The loud roars of their leader caught their attention when they saw him back flipping off of the worm, who Harvey oh-so-lovingly named 'El Gusano' and lands right before them which made the ground rumble from his landing. Snarling, Riddick turns to them. "All of you, get back inside, now!" He said in a growling voice, shocking his friends.
"Wait, you can talk?!"
"GO!"
This was enough for the gang to head right inside Riddick's house as the kaiju shifter glares at the worm who shrieks at him and he roars back at the worm and charges at it once more before leaping in the air and throws a Superman punch right across its face.

The blow to the head was enough to send El Gusano back crashing on the forest floor. The worm then decides to escape through the hole it came through when Riddick immediately grabs it by the tail and was then pulled into the hole with the worm.
Leona and the others saw this happening and all they could do was wait and hope that their friend makes it out ok.
Further away from the Rexton household, just a few miles from the city of Narim we see a helicopter flying over the forest. The helicopter in question belongs to none other than Alan Maroni of Argento Industries, with Maroni himself riding inside it.
"Are you sure this is where the disturbance originated from?" He questions his men.
"Yes sir. Our scanners picked up a very unusual seismic vibrations in this particular spot. It was last recorded yesterday afternoon before vanishing."
Suddenly they noticed huge clouds of dirt and trees flying from the ground as they looked outside and saw several mounds of dirt jolting upward until the ground erupted and then they saw El Gusono, rising up from the ground covered in scratches and claw marks, howling in the air and to their shock and surprise a very humanoid version of the first kaiju himself, Rexzilla!
"What in the hell!?" Maroni exclaims.

Riddick was clawing into El Gusano's back causing the worm to bleed green blood. This made the worm thrash around in order to rid itself of the shifter until it used one of its tendrils to pull him off and throw him. The shifter maneuvers himself in the air and lands safely on the ground. He looks up at the worm who was towering over him as it let out a furious shriek which he roars back, unafraid of the oversized worm.
The humanoid kaiju runs towards El Gusano when the worm started spewing up balls of pure sludge and bile at the shifter. However he easily avoided the balls of sludge and when he was close enough, he jumps at the worm and slashed his claws upward on the torso, spins around and gave a backwards kick, sending the worm crashing on the ground. Riddick lands on the worm and starts slashing its armored torso, this only causes El Gusano to shriek in pain and managed to snare him with its tendrils.
But Riddick sliced through 2 of the worm's tendrils and jumps off as the worm rose back up.
Riddick snarls loudly at the worm as it throws its head back and howls in the air. That was when he noticed a helicopter flying nearby. His enhanced vision allowed him to zoom in and saw that it belonged to the Argento Industries, and Alan Maroni himself was inside the vehicle. 'Maroni? What the hell is he doing here?' He didn't have time to think of the man's reason for being here as he was tackled by the worm who tried to devour him. The shift quickly managed to hold its fangs while digging his feet into the ground.
Riddick grits his teeth as the worm howls in his face while pushing him back. That was when his eyes glowed a familiar dark purple and he fires his Dark Haze vision into the worm's mouth, burning its inner mouth. The worm howls in pain which only grew louder when Riddick tore off its larger tusks. He throws them aside before giving a few good punches to the face and then jumps over the worm's head and buries his claws in its neck.
The shift then started to pull on El Gusano's neck with all his might as he let out a loud roar and violently tore the worm's head off.
Blood erupted from the stump as the worm's head flew off and gave one last howl before the life faded away.

Riddick throws his head back and roars in victory which echoes in the air. Then he looks over his shoulder to see the helicopter that is Maroni's still flying in the air. He could easily see the CEO having a rather smug look on his face which made the shifter glare and snarl at him. Then he runs straight for the hole he and El Gusano came from and dove right in. Vanishing from the CEO's gaze.
Maroni clasp his fingers after witnessing the humanoid kaiju fight and kill the worm before diving into the hole whence it came. "This is a rather…interesting turn of events."
After returning from fighting the worm and given a new change of clothes, Riddick told his friends what he saw during the fight.
"WHAT!? You saw Alan Maroni, the CEO of Argento Industries himself?!" They all exclaimed in unison.
"More like in his helicopter, but yeah, I saw him watching my fight." Riddick said before deadpanning at Harvey. "And also, El Gusano? Really?"
Harvey only chuckles while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly under his friend's gaze.
"Still though. What would Maroni be doing there in the first place?" James ponders.
"I'm sure he was investigating the strange rumblings that may have been caused by El Gusano." Emily guessed.
"Whatever it is, it can't be good." Riddick said with his hands clasped together. "I noticed something about him when I saw him in his chopper. I don't know what, but my instincts are telling me that he's up to something. Something bad."
The room was silent the moment Riddick mentions this. They've known Riddick for years and when he says his instincts are warning him, they know it's serious.
"It's best if we keep our eyes on him from now on."

A week had passed since the revelation of Riddick's kaiju self to his friends as well as how he became Rexzilla. To compensate for keeping his secret from his friends, Riddick allowed his friends to choose what they want to do with him. James, Emily, Harvey and Alex didn't want that and already forgave him for not telling them. Leona and Misato however took full advantage of this and made Riddick spend the whole time with them and go one dates, even dragging Rachel along as well, much to the bespectacled girl's embarrassment.
Despite their little peaceful moments, it was not to last forever.
The sounds of sirens were heart as the police, SWAT and military vehicles were seen racing across the street towards the biggest mall in Narim; the Ambient Square Mall. Reason being is that it was under siege by a whole mob of mutated jumping spiders. Unlike other mutations, these spiders were roughly the size of full grown adults, still they were a dangerous threat and needed to be dealt with.
Several vehicles had stopped just outside the boundaries of the mall, as the walls were crawling with nearly 90 or more spiders.
The screams of the panicked civilians were heard as they ran past the soldiers and policemen who were approaching the blockade as the sounds of gunfire and explosions were heard. At the scene was general Garner and beside him was major Logan Ferrus, a man in his mid 20s with an olive skin tone, strong build, black buzzcut hair and dark green eyes.
"What's the situation major?"
"It's bad sir. We've got about a hundred or so spiders infesting the place and there are still people trapped inside the building." Ferrus reported.
"Then we need to take care of this spider problem and fast!" Garner exclaims.
That was when a spider lands on a car near them, causing the men to jump back in surprise. The spider bared its fangs as it roars at them with its massive eyes gazing at its prey.
"Shoot it!"
Garner and his men brought out their guns and started shooting at the spider before it could jump at them. The spider was pelted with a hail of bullets before it finally died. The sounds of more shrieking spiders were heard as they saw more of them coming.
"Open fire!"
The soldiers, the SWAT units and police force all fired their weapons at the spider swarm. Some spiders made it through and killed a few soldiers or policemen in the fight, but the soldiers kept on firing their guns. Garner was firing his M249 SAW machine gun while Ferrus was using a Heckler & Koch UMP. The general heard one spider shrieking loudly and turns to see one jumping at him before he could even react.
Fortunately, something else did. Just before the spider got him a car came flying at the spider, crashing into it and killing it instantly. This caught the attention of the general, major as well as the soldiers and policemen as they saw various items being flung over them and striking the spiders. From cars, fire hydrants, stop signs and even some sewer lids. Each one killing the spiders one by one.
General Garner and the others were all stunned by what they saw and were confused as well. Just who was it that was throwing all those at the spiders?
Then the sound of thundering footsteps were heard from behind them. They all turned only to see a blackened figure rushing at them and then leaping over 10 feet above the barricade. They saw the figure rolling into a ball before they landed right on top of an unlucky spider, crushing it under their weight which got the other spiders to see them. The figure rose on their feet and all the soldiers saw was a lone person dressed in a black hoodie with blue jeans, black combat boots with metal studs on them. When the figure turned they saw that the person was wearing a mask over their mouth and wore a pair of polarized goggles.
Garner and Ferrus could only look at the person dumbfoundedly when the general snapped out of his trance. "Hey, you! What do you think you're doing? Get the hell out of there now!"
The person just ignores the general and turns back at the spiders who were advancing on him. He then takes a deep breath and just as the spiders were about to pounce, he let out a loud and powerful roar that sent out shockwaves in the air.
The roar was loud and powerful enough to stop the spiders which made them freeze like statues. Some were even shaking with fear as their fight or flight instincts were taking hold. Even the soldiers and policemen suddenly froze from the power of the roar. The roar itself was the roar of an alpha predator, and it was on the hunt.

The figure charges at the spiders and gave a strong kick to one in the face, effectively killing it and sending it flying at its own kind. This caused the spiders to lunge at the figure but the person easily swatting them with frighteningly ease by quickly spinning to kick a few and throwing a punch, a chop or backhand with enough force to not only send them flying but kill them.
The person then rushes at another jumping spider and grabs it by the front legs and drove his knee under its sternum, breaking through it and causing blood to pour out. He tosses the dead spider and ran his elbow in the face of another spider that came up from behind and performs a backwards spinning kick to another that jumped at him.
Another spider shrieks loudly as it jumps for the person, only for the person to quickly turn and caught its leg and then slams the spider over and over again on the street and using it like a bludgeoning weapon against its fellow spiders. After throwing the dead spider away the person then jumps over the spiders and landed beside a stop sign embedded in the body of a spider. He rips it out and spins it around like a staff before charging at the swarm.
General Garner and the others all watched in awe and slight horror as the person was slaughtering the spiders as though they were nothing to him. The guy was fast, strong and dangerous from what they saw. Then they saw a dead spider flying straight at them and they all duck as it flew over them and crashed right near a drainage vent.
The person then runs straight for the mall while some of the surviving spiders were barely hanging on from the onslaught.
"I don't know who the hell that guy is but he just gave us an opening. All forces commence the assault now!"
The soldiers and policemen all started firing at the weakened spiders as they were now advancing on the arachnids.
Inside the mall there were several people who were trapped in stores from the webs as well as those encased in webbing as they were either being preserved for later or were already dead from being bitten from the spiders. The people were all whimpering behind the glass doors as the spiders tried to force their way inside. The sounds of thundering footsteps caught their attention as they turn and saw the person charging at them with a pair of glowing red eyes behind the vizor.

As the assault on the mall was raging, we see the blood of the spider oozing into the vent and landing into the water. The blood suddenly shifted back into the same glowing purple fluid that is kaiju ooze and traveling through the waters, being sucked up into a plumbing system and being forced into a building's water filtering system.
Somewhere in another part of Narim we see Misato Fujitora walking down the streets towards the eastern region of the city where a small town was located, her hometown Hashitoro. Hashitoro is a piece of Japan in the city of Narim, being a mixed cultured city each region has its own little piece of a different country.
With school being over for the day as tomorrow was Saturday, it gave the young Asian girl a chance to plan for her next date with her boyfriend, Riddick who she found out was the kaiju Rexzilla. Never in her whole life would it be like a kaiju movie, especially with her boyfriend being one who looks almost exactly like Godzilla.
She, her fellow girlfriend Leona and their friends often watched the many kaiju movies with Riddick from time to time, as well as Gamera, Ultraman and others. It did hurt her and Leona that their boyfriend had kept his secret from them, even if it was out of fear of them leaving him. She thought he was an idiot for thinking they would ever abandon him least of all her and Leona and Rachel.
While she and Leona may share him they are aware that Rachel has a major crush on him but is too shy to even speak up. Both of them care for her and hope to help her with her feelings.
Misato was singing to herself in Japanese with a pleasant smile on her lips as she was coming up to a Japanese themed house. She walks passed the front gate with a small pond of koi fish, a few cherry blossom trees and a fountain with a bamboo chute collecting water and pouring it out. She rings the doorbell before opening the door. "Tadaima! (I'm home!)" She called out in her native language.
The sound of footsteps were heard as a woman in her late 20s was seen coming into view. Like Misato she was also of Japanese descent with a lighter skin tone, same eye color as her daughter with black hair that reached her mid back and tied up into a tail, wearing a white shirt with an apron on and a pair of yellow pants that hugged her legs and a moderate double G-Cup bust. This woman's name was Misaka Fujitora, Misato's mother.
"Oh, Okaerinasai (welcome home), Misato-chan." Misaki smiles as her daughter came up and hugs her. "How was your day?"
"It went well. I was able to ace my test as well as my friends." Misato informed her mother while pulling out her report and showing 100%.
Misaki's smile grew even bigger. "I'm glad you and your friends aced it, Watashi no chīsana kitsune (my little fox)."
"Okāsan, I'm not little anymore." Misato pouts with a small blush. Then she walks by her giggling mother as she enters the living room where a man in his early to mid 30s was seen on a lounge chair. He had short bluish/black hair with some gray in it, wore glasses with almond brown eyes, a short beard, a gray shirt and blue pants.
His name was Genjo Fujitora, Misato's father and Misaki's husband. He was seen reading a newspaper and smoking a pipe with the TV on when he felt someone tapping on his shoulder. He looks over and smiles when he saw his daughter presenting her report.
"Tadaima, tōsan (I'm home, dad)." Misato said to her father.
"Misato, Okaeri! (welcome back!)" Genjo said while hugging his daughter. "I see you've passed your test. Well done my dear."
Misato giggles as her father rubs her back when she noticed the TV showing the news and breaks away from the hug. The logo of NCN was seen as the news anchor was going over the assault on Ambient Square Mall, as the helicopter showed the carnage of the spiders, the army fighting them and a lone figure dressed in black easily destroyed them before heading for the mall, clearing out the rest of the spiders and freeing the trapped civilians as several soldiers and medics arrived at the scene and the black figure leaped away at an inhuman pace.
"Ah, it's terrible. Those spiders were crawling all over the place and killing so many people. It's bad enough that we now have real life kaiju, much less a Gojira look-alike, now we have smaller kaiju to deal with." Genjo groans while rubbing his head.
Misato didn't pay attention to her father as she was more focused on the dark figure. She knew that it was Riddick dressed up that way to keep his identity a secret while heading over to the mall. Just as school was over is when his enhanced hearing heard the commotion and he had to head over to the mall. And from what she just saw it looks like everything's under control now.
She then got a text from her phone, pulls it out and saw the first message was from her fellow girlfriend Leona.
Leona: Did you see the news? Babe just kicked those spiders' collective asses!
Emily: Thank God he killed those spiders. I absolutely HATE spiders!
Rachel: I'm just glad he saved those people. It's still sad that not many of them made it, but I'm also happy that he helped my dad.
She got similar replies from James, Harvey and Alex, complimenting on how 'cool' or 'badass' Riddick was during the fight with the jumping spiders. Misato felt proud of her boyfriend's deeds in helping the people despite what happened to him when he first transformed.
She was last seen in the upstairs bathroom with the water running and dropping some bubble bath balls in the water. Before she could undress herself, she heard her phone ringing, she saw it was from Riddick and quickly answers it. "Moshi-Moshi? Riddick-chan, I just saw the news. Are you ok? You're not hurt or anything?" She said into the phone.
As she was speaking with Riddick, she failed to notice glowing purple fluids flowing from the faucet and into the bathtub which was hiding under the cloud of bubbles.
"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow for our next date. Sayōnara" Misato said after giving a quick peck on the phone and ending the call. She was humming to herself again while she was rinsing herself off with the shower hose before she jumps into her bath, unaware of what was mixed into the water. Once she was finished, she went into the bathtub with a sigh of bliss as the heat from the water masked the burning sensation of the ooze.
(Saturday)
It was a lovely Saturday morning in Narim as the many citizens went about their daily lives. People enjoying their days off from work and or school, or young people going to hang out with their friends or head for parties.
We see Misato dressed up in a lovely yellow sundress with a few flower petals flying across the bottom and wearing a light blue short-sleeved jacket. She got a call from Riddick saying that he'll meet her at the fountain near Quarts Central Station at 4:00.
After having her breakfast and bidding her parents goodbye, she took the bus to get to Narim and continued on foot. Misato was walking by some buildings while humming a song from her favorite anime shows. "Ah. I wonder where should we have our date this time?" She said to herself. That was when she suddenly saw some unsavory characters stepping through an alley.
"Hey there sweet thing. Going somewhere?"
"If you're looking for a good time we know a great place where we can have lots of fun."
The men before her had the stereo street thug or biker clothing and the looks they had on their faces sent shivers down Misato's spine.
At the Quarts Central Station, Riddick was seen standing beside the large water fountain dressed in a black leather jacket, dark red shirt with a black dragon breathing black fire and a pair of jeans. After the fiasco at the Ambient Square Mall with those spiders and helping the soldiers and policemen yesterday, as well as calling Misato to let her know that he was ready for her turn for their next date. Riddick had to take turns dating Leona and Misato as a form of 'punishment' for keeping his kaiju half a secret from them. Even Rachel had to have him take her on a few dates for it. Much to the girl's embarrassment.
Still though, he can't exactly say he hated it. He loves those two and Rachel is a sweet and kind girl. He still remembered that day he saved her from those bullies back when they were kids. If anyone or anything so much as hurt her he'd make them suffer for it.
He looks at his watch which reads 3:50. Almost 10 minutes for Misato to show up. "Huh. She should've been here by now. It's not like her to be running late. She's usually earlier than I am at times." He utters to himself.
He looks around the station to see people going about their peaceful and daily lives despite the attacks from the kaiju everything appeared to be alright. That is until…
BOOM!
The sound of explosions and a column of fire erupted from a few blocks away from the station, catching Riddick's attention as he gawks at the pillar of fire. "What in the?!" He exclaims in shock as the sounds of the alarm rang through the air. He narrows his eyes as his binocular vision zooms past the buildings and his hearing picking up the citizens screamed in frantic panic as he then saw another kaiju had suddenly appeared from the fire and begun attacking the city.
Marching through the city was a gigantic fox-like kaiju, roughly about 60 meters tall on all four legs, it had a bright red fur with white at the bottom, it had 9 long tails making it around 190 meters long from nose to the tip of its tails, its forelimbs had 3 blade-like spikes and five clawed hands. Interestingly enough the upper torso was almost humanoid in shape as it had a pair of breasts under the tuft of fur. And its eyes were a blazing yellow color with bright orange markings on its eyes.
The fox kaiju stood on her hindlegs, reaching around 80 meters tall and howls in the air.
"Tsk. Great. Just fucking great. Can't I catch a break for one measly day?" Riddick snarls and then takes off to a random direction.

The sound of helicopters and fighter jets were heard as they rained missiles upon the fox, causing explosions to erupt from the kaiju. This causes the fox to scream in a frenzy as she snaps at the jets with her fangs. A few managed to slip by while some weren't so lucky as she caught one in her jaws and crushes it, along with her hands and her tails. Snarling, the fox then jumps high enough in the air and lands on top of a building, the roof crumbles beneath her but it still stands tall. She throws her head back and howls in the air as the tips of her 9 tails suddenly ignited with fire and then she shoots them from her tails, sending them flying at every building while unleashing a torrent of fire from her mouth.
The rain of fireballs crashed on several buildings as the fires were spreading through the streets, killing several unfortunate people.
The fox looms over the top of the building as the sea of fire danced before her. Her face twisted as a snarl escaped her mouth, her fangs bared as the military was gathering around and evacuating the fleeing people. And yet for some reason there were….tears flowing from the fox's burning yellow eyes. She throws her head again and shrieks loudly as the general could see her from where he stood.
"Dammit. When will this nightmare ever end?" Garner said to himself as Ferrus walks up to him. "Is the whole section of the city cleared out?"
"Yes sir. We managed to get all the civilians out in time. ETA on reinforcements are on their way." Ferrus informed him.
The sounds of heavy ground vehicles caught the general's attention as they saw several large vehicles hauling massive satellite dish-like weapons.
"The prototype maser cannons?"
"Yes sir, we managed to get them operational. As you said they're still prototypes, but they should be enough to help fight the kaiju." Ferrus said with full confidence.
"Considering that we're living in an actual kaiju event, we're gonna need weapons like those. Hell, we might as well build our own Jaegers at this point." Garner grumbles.
Then the sound of another explosion caught their attention and then…
"SSSSSKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!"
The familiar roar of a certain kaiju was heard and they saw said kaiju seemingly rising from behind some buildings a couple of blocks from the fox.
Garner grits his teeth with a sharp exhale. "Rexzilla…he had to show himself again."
The jets and helicopters all flew into the direction as the two kaiju stared at each other. The fox let out a furious roar as Rexzilla roars back while running through the buildings. As much as he didn't want to, he had no choice. The best he could do is try and get the fox kaiju out of the city where there'll be less damage and less casualties.
The fox growls at the dark kaiju and then jumps from the building and using the others like stepping stones, leaping from one building to the next until she jumps off one and soars straight towards Rexzilla with her fangs and claws bared. The fox went to grab Rexzilla by the throat only for the dark kaiju to grab her wrists and then tosses her into a building beside him.
He glares at the cloud of dust from the crumbled building when the fox lunges at him and sank her fangs into his shoulder.
The dark kaiju roars in pain and surprise as the fox clung onto him, burying her fangs deeper as she slashed her claws into his side. Growling, he uses his tail to slither around and wrap the tip around her neck and constrict her, forcing the fox to let go of his shoulder. Rexzilla then swung her around with his tail and sent her flying across the city and crashing into some buildings.
"What a disaster! What the hell is that overgrown lizard thinking?!" Garner exclaims in anger and disbelief. "Are the masers in position yet?"
"Yes sir! They're already awaiting your orders."
"I don't care what the people say about that lizard, fire on both of them!"
Rexzilla stomps towards the fox who was getting up from the pile of builds under her when twin bolts of lightning struck her side, causing her to scream in surprise and pain.
The dark kaiju growls in shock. 'What the?!' He then roars as he too was struck by 2 more bolts of lighting. He snarls as he turns to where the attacks were coming from and to his surprise he saw 4, 6 familiar looking cannons aiming right at him and the fox. 'Masers?! They actually built maser cannons!?'
The dishes on the cannons all glowed as a stream of lightning was fired from the tip of the cannons and struck both kaiju, with Rexzilla blocking the masers with his arms and the fox writhing from the pain.
"It's working, keep on firing!" Garner shouts into the radio.
The prototype masers, the N2-Type 80s, continued their assault on the two kaiju. Rexzilla was faring better due to his scales whereas the fox wasn't as she lacked the same protection he had. The fox screamed and howled as the lightning was burning her skin but it only made her angrier. Her eyes glowed brightly as she lunges at one of the masers and bites down on it, destroying it and the drivers.
The other 5 remaining masers were pulling back while firing at the fox, but it was for naught as the snarling fox unleashed a powerful fireball at one and destroys it in a blaze.
'No!' Rexzilla charges at the fox and grabs her from behind with his arms looped under hers and his hands behind her head.
This only caused the fox to scream louder as she was thrashing around in his grip. Fire suddenly ignited around her and was bathing both of them.
'Dammit! This fox's feistier than a regular animal. I gotta get her out of here before she really runs rampant!' Rexzilla inwardly thinks to himself. 'For that matter…her scent…why does she smell like….Misato?' His train of thought was broken when the fox swiftly struck him in the eyes with her claws, forcing him to release her and mule-kicks him away from her. The fire dissipated when they were separated and the fox started running from him.
General Garner saw the fox running and brings up his radio. "All chopper units commence fire! Do not let that overgrown fox escape!"
Several AH-64 Apaches were seen flying over the buildings firing their missiles at the fox. The missiles made contact as they exploded against the kaiju's body. The fox snaps at them as the tips of her tail shoot fireballs at them. Causing them to scatter with only a few shot down.
Ahead were 4 M270 MLRS, a few M1 Abrams, and several HMMWV with gun torrents on them. They were prepared for when the fox kaiju made her way towards them which she did when they heard the thundering footsteps from the kaiju. When she came into view from around the corner of some buildings a few blocks from them, they unleashed a hail of bullets and missiles at the fox.
The fox roars angrily at the soldiers and surprised them by jumping on the buildings to her left and leaps to the ones on her right, using her agility she was leaping from the buildings in a zig-zag formation until she jumps over them and rolls in the air before landing back on all fours and continued running.
As the fox was running she was blindsided when Rexzilla surprised her with a tackle from out of nowhere and the both of them were rolling and crashing into some buildings. The dark kaiju shook his head while the cloud of dust was fading. 'Got you now! Huh?' He suddenly felt something round, big and soft underneath him and heard the fox yelping.
When the dust settled it showed Rexzilla looming over the fox who was pinned beneath him and his left hand was actually on her right breast. The two of them stared wide eyed as the fox had a furious look on her face with a hint of pink on her snout.
'...I did not expect this to happen.' Without warning his hand unconsciously squeezes her boob which made the fox gasp in surprise. 'Crap!'
The fox lashes out by scratching Rexzilla's face and tackles him while shrieking loudly and pinning him on the ground and started punching and clawing at him in a frenzy.
Rexzilla was blocking her attacks as best he could. But the fox wasn't letting up. Having had enough of this, Rexzilla's eyes glowed purple and fires his Dark Haze vision at the fox's face which made her shriek in pain and holds her snout, then he punches her across the face and sending her flying back.
The fox let out a pained whimper and saw the lizard slowly getting back up. She took this chance to run before he could attack her again, softly whimpering along the way.

Rexzilla shakes his head of cobwebs and saw the fox had ran off. To where? He doesn't know. 'Dammit! She got away.' He chided himself. His hearing picked up the sounds of helicopters and jets approaching along with the four remaining masers. Not in the mood to be shot at, Rexzilla took off running through the street which was wide enough for him to not plow through the buildings and leaps into the ocean at the nearest harbor.
General Garner slams his fist against his jeep in anger when he saw the kaiju escaping. "Dammit, they got away!" He snarls. He quickly turns to Ferrus with a heated expression. "I want all available units to keep an eye out for those two kaiju! If they see either the fox or the lizard, shoot them on sight!"
"Yes sir!" Ferrus salutes.
"And send in search and rescue. We need to look for any survivors, ours and the civilians that didn't make it out."
The sounds of sirens, jets and helicopters rang through the air as many people were evacuating from the city. Hiding behind a lone building was none other than Misato wearing only a tarp and her hair a mess with a few soot marks on her body. Her face had the look of shock, fear and horror. Her body was shaking like an earthquake when she saw the plums of smoke in the air from where Quarts Central Station was. A tear or two fell from her eyes as she quietly moves back and ran straight home.
It was around late afternoon when Misato finally made it back home. She slowly opens the door, looks inside and notice she heard nothing, meaning her parents must be out. Misato quickly goes inside and locks the door and walks past the living room and kitchen when she noticed a note.
'Misato-chan, your father and I are heading out to the southern part of the city, we'll be back in a few hours. Mom.'
That made the girl relax a little as her parents weren't anywhere near where the…the fighting began. Still, she couldn't help but shake as she made her way up to her room, and the moment she did she slides down against her door as tears began flowing from her eyes. She buries her face in her hands and let out an anguish cry of sorrow and guilt. "...o-oh, God…what have I done….what did I do!?"
Memories of what transpired earlier came rushing back to her.
Misato was seen backing away as the thugs were pressing on.
"C'mon, don't be like that. We ain't gonna hurt ya…much."
The first guy said with a lewd chuckle which was enough for Misato to start running.
"Hey!"
"Get back here!"
She ran through the alleyway hoping to lose them. Don't get her wrong, she knows some martial arts, but not nearly as well as Riddick who has years behind him. Plus she wasn't sure if there were anymore hiding around, so she had to leave and find help fast! Just as she was about to turn around the corner, she slipped on some greasy water and fell with a yelp. Then she felt a pair of hands on her back as she saw there were 4 more men in hiding.
"Lookie here boys. A stray cat wandered into our midst."
"Damn, she looks so fine. I bet she'll feel good too!"
Misato was crying out and struggling to break free as some of the men were tearing her clothes off. Her mind was a hurricane as tears were flowing from her eyes. Her heart was racing like an engine as her vision suddenly went dark and then…
Screams. Screams were all she heard as her vision briefly returned. She looks around to see herself in the alley with a bright glow and an intense heat surrounding her. She looks around to see…bodies. Bodies of the would-be rapists splattered on the walls while some were burned to a crisp. Then she saw one man still alive. He was covered in blood, half of his face was burned and his right arm was gone as blood squirted from the stump.
"...p-p-p-please….h-have m-mercy….have mercy on me…." The man begged her as he was suddenly terrified of her.
Mercy? Mercy!? When he and his friends tried to defile her when only her boyfriend Riddick can touch her?! Her anger suddenly went through the rough as she was engulfed in flames and let out a furious howl and everything went black again. Then she suddenly hears sirens, helicopters, jets and more screams. Then she felt something pushing against her and suddenly grabbing her chest and lashing out at whoever dared to grope her. In the midst of her assault she regained consciousness and to her shock and surprise, she was looming over none other than Rexzilla himself!
'R-RIDDICK!?'She inwardly cried out.
That was when she saw his eyes glowed purple and fires his Dark Haze vision at her, causing her to cry out in pain and felt him punching her across the face. When she landed next to a building, she suddenly saw her reflection. Only to see it was a giant fox staring at her. 'Is…is this me? Oh God…' A sudden realization hit her like that punch from her boyfriend. Somehow…someway…she became a kaiju! Looking back at her boyfriend who was getting back up she let out a whimper and suddenly runs away from him, and after finding a perfect place to hide she somehow changed back to normal right then and there.
Those people…she killed all of those people in her blind rage. Her hands covered her mouth as she rushed to the bathroom and then vomited violently in the toilet. The number of people she killed was too much for her to bear as she coughed, wheezed and heaves in the toilet. The moment she was done she was leaning against the bathtub hugging herself, crying in shame and guilt for killing so many people and reducing much of Quarts Central Station into a mess.
'I…I can't believe it…I killed so many people…Riddick-chan…now I understand how you felt when you first transformed…' Misato hugged herself tighter as her tears continued to flow like a broken dam. "Gomen'nasai….Gomen'nasai….Gomen'nasai…."
(3 days later)
It had been 3 days since the fox kaiju's rampage and parts of the city were still being rebuilt from the fight between the fox and Rexzilla. More people had not only lost their homes and businesses but also their friends and loved ones during the fox' attack. Not only that but Misato had not been to school for 3 days since the attack and none of the gang had seen her.
Riddick was seen standing just outside of the Fujitora household having decided to visit his second girlfriend after a shocking revelation to his friends.
(Yesterday)
Nearly everyone except for Misato were all gathered back to Riddick's home after the end of the school day, Leona, Rachel and the others were seen in Riddick's living room sitting around him as he wore a stone faced expression.
"Ok babe. We're all here like you asked." Leona said, gesturing to herself and the others.
"Yeah boss, what's the sitch?" Harvey questions.
Riddick only stares at his friends who were waiting for his explanation. He let out a small sigh through his nose as he clasped his hands together. "You all remember my fight with that fox kaiju near Quarts Central Station, right?"
"You mean that flaming fox? Yeah. No one's picked out a name for it." Alex mentioned, having seen the news of the fox 3 days ago.
"The name isn't the issue. It's the scent from it I picked up."
This made everyone look at him in confusion. "Scent? What do you mean?" Emily asked.
"During our fight. The fox had a rather familiar smell to it."Riddick said, having recalled smelling the fox during their fight in the city. It had been eating away at him for a while, but he wasn't sure if it's really true or not.
"What did it smell like?" Rachel inquiries.
"...it smells of cherry blossoms."
The moment he mentioned that made everyone feel a little uneasy about what he was thinking of. "B-Babe…you're not seriously suggesting…" Leona couldn't even finish her sentence as the slowly rising worry and dread rose.
"Only one way to be sure, Leona. I need to pay Misato a visit. Whether she likes it or not."
(Present)
Riddick lets out a small sigh before ringing the doorbell. He waited until he saw the door opening and saw Misato peeking through the door. "...h-hai?" She whispers so softly.
"Misato it's me."
Misato gasps before fully opening the door and lunges at Riddick, wrapping her arms around him like a lifeline.
"Riddick-chan!" She exclaims into his shoulder, trembling like an earthquake.
Riddick was taken aback by her behavior but returns the hug to calm her down. When he did he softly smelled her, taking in her scent. It was the same cherry blossom smell he knew well…and yet…he could also smell the faint odor of…smoke and ashes on her. As well as…blood.
They were seen inside the living room with Riddick sitting on the couch and Misato bringing tea for them. "Here." She said while handing him a cup. "My parents are out again so…so it's just me here." Misato sat down beside him while he sips his tea.
"Misato…what happened? For 3 days you haven't come to school or even answered our calls. Not since that kaiju I fought." Riddick questions her. "You had us worried, me the most, so please…tell me what happened?"
Misato was silent as she stared into her cup, her head hanging and her hair dangling over her head. "...I was on my way to meet you after getting off the bus…then I got cornered by some men who came out of an alley…I tried to get away and they…they…"
Riddick's eyes narrowed into slits and his nails slowly turned into claws. A low, rumbling growl escaped his lips as he knew what she meant.
"They ambushed me with more of their friends…and pinned me on the ground…they went to tear my clothes off when I screamed and cried out for help…and…I blacked out…" She explains as a tear or two fell from her eyes, recalling those men attempting to violate her and her…her sudden change and what she did to them. She felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Riddick with an apologetic expression.
"I…am so sorry for not hearing your cries, Misato. If I had I would've come running to you and killing those…animals for trying to lay a hand on you." He lowers his head with his eyes closed. "I'm sorry."
Misato could hear the sincerity in his voice and can tell how hard it is on him for not helping her. Her eyes suddenly glowed a bright yellow as her nose could pick up his scent. Her heart was slowly thundering as her…primal instinct was slowly taking over. She slowly pulls his head and rams her lips on his, pushing him back on the couch and pinning him under her. Arms wrapped around his neck, she assaulted his mouth as her tongue rolls all over his, she broke the kiss with a gasp to lick around his lips before shoving her tongue back in and grinding her lower body on his lips.
Riddick was shocked by her sudden boldness. He knew both Misato and Leona are often forward with their love for him and he loves them as well, but they promised to take things slowly until they were ready for the next step, and what Misato was doing was not like her at all. He grunts through the kiss when he felt something sharp against his tongue and could taste blood in his mouth. The he felt something sharp running across his skin and knew something was definitely wrong. He quickly rose back up and breaks the kiss with a loud gasp between him and Misato, both were panting as he saw her eyes glowing yellow, her teeth were fangs and her nails were claws.
Misato stared wide eyed as her senses were slowly returning to her and Riddick was staring at her fangs and claws.
"I knew it." His words made her heart almost stop when he got closer. "You're a shifter…like me…meaning…you were that fox I fought back in Quarts Central…weren't you?" He asked her. "Misato, please, be honest with me…as I was honest with you and the others."
The dam was broken as tears flowed from her eyes as she buried her face in her hands. "I'M SORRY!" She wept into her hands. "I'M SO SORRY RIDDICK!"
Riddick could hear the pain in her voice. Like him, she too lost control of herself and the guilt was now eating away at her, like how it was the same with him when he attacked and killed those people.
"W-W-When I blacked out…I-I could hear screams….I saw there was blood and body parts everywhere…and..and I saw one of those men injured and pleading to me for mercy…" Misato explains through her sobs. "I…I…I was angry, mad, furious! They wanted to put their filthy hands on me and I wanted to kill them for it…and…and then I saw the city for a brief moment. It was on fire, people screaming and crying as I was looking over a building for some reason and blacking out again…and then…I saw you, your kaiju self beneath me and then you shot your lasers and punched me across the face and then….I saw my reflection on a building and saw what I become."
Riddick sat there listening to her story once more.
"When I saw what happened to me…and the things I did…I ran! I ran from you, the people and our friends…" She then looks at him with red, puffy eyes as tears continue falling. "I was so afraid of what I did..and afraid of what you all would think of me. I know you told me the same thing before…but..I-I couldn't…" Misato then felt a sharp pain through her body, causing her to spill her tea as she wraps her arms around her.
"Misato?" Riddick said when he saw a few sparks of flame appearing on her. "Misato, you've got to gain control. Focus, don't let this take hold of you!"
"I….I CAN'T!" Misato shouts as she accidentally shoves Riddick back with her hand sprouting fur and the rest of her body. Her ears turned into that of a fox while a tail or two grew from her waist. "I…I am s-so sorry….R-RIDDICK-CHAAAAAGGGGHHHH!" She let out a growling roar as her face shifted into that of a canid.
Riddick could only watch in shock as Misato's partial transformation was taking over. She quickly rushes for the door, opens it without tearing it off and runs out into the streets jumping from building to building.
"MIIIIISSSSSAAAATTTOOOOOO!" Riddick cried out to her as she vanishes from sight. "Shit!" He closes the door behind him and took off after her using his enhanced agility to jump from building to building to chase after her. Pulling his phone out he quickly dials Leona's phone number and waited for her call.
"Leona? It's me, I just confirmed my suspicion. Misato is that fox kaiju I just fought 3 days ago, and now she's on the verge of changing again! It looks like she's heading southward, away from the city, I'm gonna try and snap her out of it before she loses control again!"
(Elsewhere)
At the military compound just located north outside of Narim, general Garner was seen with Ferrus overseeing the repair of the N2-Type 80s and the construction of the newer models. Even though they were prototypes, the N2-Type 80 maser cannons proved effective against the fox, but against Rexzilla they needed a much stronger one.
"It won't be long now until we have more and more weapons like these to help combat the kaiju, unlike the movies, we won't be that helpless." Garner said with absolute confidence.
"If you say so sir. But we still don't know where these creatures came from or how they even became what they are." Ferrus said to his superior. "There's still so much about them we don't know."
"One thing at a time, major. One thing at a time. We'll figure out who or what made these monsters and stop them before things get out of hand." Garner said with a steely look in his eyes. That was when he felt his phone vibrating and pulls it out. "General Garner speaking… What? The fox is back? And Rexzilla's after it?!" The general's grip on his phone tightens as Ferrus overheard him and saw him gritting his teeth. "W-Well, where are they heading? What, the old abandoned port yard? That's good we'll take care of them there."
He hangs up his phone and turns to Ferrus. "Major, mobilize our forces immediately. I want the functioning N2-Type 80s to head out along with whatever ground troops and air support we have on hand. We're not letting this chance slip by us again!"

In the depths of the ocean a large and dark figure was seen lurking across the ocean floor. The sounds of explosions and roars were heard from above as a pair of 6 glowing green eyes were seen along with a few tendrils flailing in the water.
On the surface near the abandoned port, fire and explosions were seen as Rexzilla was fighting Misato in her kaiju form once more.
Rexzilla was seen grappling with Misato who was snarling and snapping her teeth at him, her eyes glowing brightly as the sun itself as her kaiju instincts were taking over. 'Dammit! I gotta find a way to snap her out of it before she heads back to the city.' Rexzilla twists her arms and throws her over his shoulder, sending her crashing into an old warehouse. 'I'm really sorry about this, Misato.' He looks around to find something he can use to subdue her which gave Misato the chance to tackle him with a growl. Both kaiju were rolling across the ground, crushing anything in their path, however Rexzilla was able to roll on top of Misato and pin her hands to the ground.
This angered the fox as she shrieked and howled loudly with fire erupting from her, thrashing violently to break free from his hold. The dark kaiju grits his teeth to bear the heat even when she unleashes a torrent of flames in his face, he would not break his hold.
'Stop struggling Misato. You're making this harder on yourself!' Rexzilla inwardly exclaims, only to shriek in surprise when they were struck by a volley of missiles and energized lightning. He looks over his shoulder to see jets, helicopters flying overhead and those maser cannons from a distance. 'Great.' He did not need the military or Rachel's dad getting in the way again. That was when he felt himself being pushed back by Misato who then pounces on him and would've bitten his neck had he not grabbed her wrists again and stood over her.
With the assault of missiles, maser fire and Misato's screaming roars and flames, it was enough to push Rexzilla over the edge. 'ENOUGH'S ENOUGH!'
Taking a deep breath he unleashes the loudest roar right at the fox's face.
"SSSSSKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!"
The force of the roar not only made the fox freeze like a statue, something…unexpected happened.
"MIIIISSSSAAAATOOOOOOOO!"
The fox let out a gasp when she actually…heard Riddick's voice calling out to her in her mind!
"...R-Riddick…?" The blazing glow in her eyes faded and all that was left were her normal yellow eyes as Rexzilla had finished roaring at her.

Both kaiju stared at each other with Rexzilla's expression softening as he lets go of Misato who had some trouble standing. "...y-you heard me, right?" He asks in surprise.
Misato slowly nods, still absorbing the fact that she heard him in her mind. "H-Hai…I heard you…calling my name."
"Telepathy. Never would've imagined that being possible." He said while shaking his head. Then he saw her falling on her hands and knees, which he reaches out to her.
In one of his helicopters, General Garner and major Ferrus saw everything happening before them. "What the hell's going on now?" Garner said with a flabbergasted look on his face. "First they're fighting each other and now that lizard's…"
"Concerned about that fox?" Ferrus finishes with his jaw hanging. Suddenly, at the corner of his eye he spotted a huge shadow appearing under the water. "General, look!"
Garner turns to the water and didn't like what he saw. "Oh, what is it this time?!"

The surface of the water was churning and both Rexzilla and Misato sensed something coming and turn to the ocean to see the water bubbling. Then numerous tendrils erupted from the water along with a gigantic brown/white conical shell. And rising from the water was a gigantic snail with 6 eyestalks and a circular mouth with rows of sharp teeth.
"A snail?!" Misato exclaims.
"A cone snail to be exact." Rexzilla corrected her.
Both the General and major saw the snail crawling out from the ocean shrieking loudly in the air with its tendrils swaying around. "All forces commence firing now! I want that overgrown escargot on a silver platter, now!" Garner barks at the radio.
Both shifters heard the sound of jets flying and firing their missiles at the cone snail, along with the helicopters and the masers firing at the gastropod. The cone snail shrieks in annoyance from the military's attack and swung its tendrils at the helicopters and jets, some evaded while a few were struck down. The cone snail rears its head and spat out a large greenish glob at the tanks below, it made contact which caused the vehicles to melt.
Rexzilla growls and fires his Dark Haze vision at the cone snail's tendrils, slicing off a few which made the snail cry out in pain. "Misato, I know you're new to this, but I'm gonna need your help with this one." Rexzilla said.
Misato nearly did a double take when she heard him asking for her help. "Y-You want me to fight with you? B-But…what if-"
Rexzilla gently took her hands into his and stared deeply into her eyes. "Misato, you have to. I know you can do it. You must learn to control your new abilities or else you'll lose control again. And the only way to learn control is on the battlefield." He assures her before lightly nuzzling her face.
Misato's cheeks turned pink with a small gasp. He has complete faith in her to control her powers and is willing to let her fight beside him, even after all the trouble she caused 3 days ago. She gains a determined expression and nods. "Alright. I trust you, Riddick-chan."
Smiling, the dark kaiju faces the cone snail with Misato by his side and both of them roar in unison and charges at the gastropod.
The snail shrieks back and fires more globs of sludge at them and swung its tendrils at them.
Misato's tails fired multiple fireballs at the tendrils and sludge balls, while Rexzilla fires his atomic breath at the snail. The cone snail retreats into its shell as the beam and fireballs struck its hard surface which hardly made a scratch on it. Misato howls as she jumps at the snail's shell and starts clawing at it, while Rexzilla swings his tail to crack the shell. This angered the snail as it uses its tendrils to ensnare Misato and lifts her from its back.
"RIDDICK!" Misato cried out.
Rexzilla saw this and glares angrily as the snail emerges from its shell and harpoons him with its tendrils, piercing his hide and his left hand. Rexzilla roars in both anger and pain while blasting the tendrils to pieces, starting with the ones holding Misato above. The fox yelps as she fell and lands on the snail's shell. She then jumps off before the tendrils could grab her and put some distance between herself and the snail.
She saw Rexzilla pulling out the tendril in his hand as well as the rest from his body. She unleashes her fire breath to provide cover while Rexzilla fires his atomic breath. The snail retreats back into its shell as both attacks explode upon contact. And like before, it did nothing. This angered Rexzilla to the point his spines glowed and lightning danced around them. His eyes narrowed as the rumbling sound of his spines were heard, he opens his mouth and unleashed not his atomic breath but a powerful burst of pure sound straight for the snail. The sound wave completely shook the air around the dark kaiju, forcing Misato to cover her ears as well as any soldier in the vicinity.
The shockwave grew into a high oscillatory frequency that when it made contact with the shell, it completely shattered it and destroyed half of the snail. The cone snail shrieks in pure agony from the loud high frequency shockwave that destroyed its shell and ruptured most of its insides.

Rexzilla ceases his assault and stares at the result of his attack. The snail moaned pitifully in pain as its insides were exposed. It hardly had the strength to do anything when the squad of helicopters hovered around it. Taking this chance to leave, Rexzilla softly growls at Misato and motions her to follow him. The fox briefly looks back at the snail before following her boyfriend.
"Sir, Rexzilla and the fox are leaving. Should we pursue them?" Ferrus asked.
Garner merely shook his head. "No. Let them go. They just softened that snail up for us, so let's put it out of its misery."
With the order given the entire military unleashed a combined assault on the snail, who shrieks even louder as the missiles, bullets and maser cannons attack its broken shell.
The General grumbles under his breath before glancing at the retreating forms of Rexzilla and the fox kaiju. "...that damned lizard. Don't think for a second that we'll go easy on you or your new friend next time."

It was around the afternoon by the time the army had finished the cone snail or 'Shellizer' as the media oh-so-lovingly call it. We turn our attention to the Rexton household, where Riddick and his friends were seen in the living room with Misato sitting on the couch, wrapped in a robe and holding a cup of green tea.
After receiving the call from Riddick earlier, Leona had called the others and told them everything, when she got the call from him again and told them to meet him and Misato at his home, they quickly rushed over to his home were they saw both Riddick and Misato emerging from the lake. And now here they are, surrounding their distraught friend as their leader sat beside her with Rachel sitting on Misato's right.
They all had been told what happened to her before she became her kaiju self, and they were stunned to learn what triggered her transformation.
"Misato…I'm…I'm sorry you had to go through all that." Emily said to her friend.
"Grrr, bastards like them make me sick." Alex gritted his teeth in anger. "They should count themselves lucky they're dead, otherwise I'd break their necks after beating the shit out of them." Harvy nodded in agreement, both jocks have a serious dislike for rapists who force themselves on women.
Even James had a look of anger in his eyes as his friend was almost preyed upon which forced her kaiju half to take hold and destroyed half of Quartz Central Station. He couldn't even begin to comprehend the mental and spiritual pain she's going through. 'Just like Riddick when he first turned into Rexzilla.'
Rachel had her hand on her friend's shoulder as she wore an empty expression. She wrapped her arms around Misato who let out a shuddering breath and leans against the bespectacled girl.
Leona got on her knees and held her harem-sister's hands. "Misato, what happened 3 days ago wasn't your fault. You had no control. It was those…men who tried to violate you and made you change like that." She said with a disgusted tone in her voice. The thought of her harem-sister being taken by some perverted animal and treated like their plaything made her blood boil. Sure, they tend to fight over Riddick from time to time, but Leona really cares for Misato and to see her in pain tore her heart. She wrapped her arms around Misato as she began to cry in her and Rachel's embrace.
Riddick tenderly placed his hand on her head and gently rubs her hair. "Misato, I swear that I will do everything in my power to help you learn how to control your powers. Times will be hard and the things you've done won't go away, but the least you can do is make amends by protecting Narim and its people from those who wish them harm." Riddick said to her as she continued to cry. He then wraps his arms around all three of them as the poor girl cries out her pain and her guilt.
James, Emily, Alex and Harvy all lowered their heads in silence. Even San and the other animals lowered their heads as Misato continued to cry.

In a different part of the states, a large truck with the Argento industries logo on the side was carrying a huge cargo behind it to deliver to a secret facility in the area. A bump on the road jolts the vehicle which caused a small opening on the trailer's door to open and something flew out into the woods. It was a metal canister with glass on the side revealing it to be a can of kaiju ooze.
The canister bounced across the ground, rolled down a hill and plummets into a lake. There was a small crack on the canister as the ooze was seeping into the water. Then two shadowy figures were seen swimming by and noticing the canister. The figures turned out to be 2 Asian small-clawed otters, a male and a female.
The two otters looked over at the canister curiously as they swam through the glowing purple cloud. They were seen carrying the canister on their back to the surface as a person was seen walking towards the edge of the lake.
"Hey there Romeo, Juliette. Did you enjoy your swim?" The person said as they kneel down and on their shoulder was a male barn owl. The person saw them carrying the canister on their backs. "Hey, what's that you got there?" They reached out and grabbed the canister which got some of the ooze onto their hands.
Things are only getting worse from here on out.

Finally, I thought it would take forever for me to get this 3rd chapter done, but here it is. Finally, up and running. Now, I'm about to take a break from story writing, and read one of my books which is the first book of the Apex Predator series by David Meyer, and like before I will read 10 chapters at a time until I reach chapter 20.
