Stadium

It wasn't long before Iida entered the stands followed by Ochaco not that long after.

"What happened to your eyes?" Rex noticed they were red.

"Oh this?" She replied, taking a seat. "It's from…something else."

"She was just frustrated after her match." Iida explained. "It makes sense though."

"It's no time to wallow." Tokoyami interjected. "Use this next fight as a source of encouragement."

"Will do." Uraraka responded.

"Indeed." Tenya nodded, remembering his abrupt loss to Rex. "I clearly still have much to learn myself."

The fighters were walking towards the arena resulting in Mic speaking up. "I can FEEL the anticipation in the stadium, and that's because the second round's first match will be EPIC! It's the guy who won his first fight by a landslide, and literally left half the audience frozen!

The Hero course's Shoto Todoroki!" Shoto walked in the arena with his usual demeanor. "His opponent showed some impressive moves in his bout. Also from the Hero course, Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku looked determined as he walked into the arena.

The two fighters stared each other down as they waited for the go ahead. The crowd was going crazy with their cheers, but the Hero course students were calm during this moment.

Tenya then looked over to Fumikage. "Tokoyami, how do you think this match will go?"

"It depends on whether or not Midoriya is able to get close." The dark student answered.

"He should be fine in that regard." Rex answered.

Tomura's Room

"Pay close attention to them Tomura Shigaraki." The voice instructed. "These two could prove to be formidable obstacles to you one day."

"I'm not worried about a couple of kids." Tomura scoffed before scratching his neck.

Van Kleiss shook his head. "He has a long way to go."

Stadium

"Both Heroes in training have been frontrunners of the Sports Festival, but which one will advance to the next round?" Mic continued. "Prepare for Midoriya vs Todoroki!" Both boys got ready for a preemptive strike. "BEGIN!"

Todoroki vs Midoriya

The instant that word was uttered, both made their move. Todoroki unleashed a barrage of ice that would either sweep Midoriya away or freeze him in place; however, Izuku had no intention of being taken out that easily.

"Full Cowling: 5%!" Izuku declared internally.

He shot to the side while drawing closer to Todoroki's left putting him out of the direct line of attack. The ice still came close, but Izuku was just out of range as he charged down Shoto. As he predicted he would, Todoroki shifted his body to aim another ice barrage at him.

Instead of trying to dodge this time, Midoriya ran towards the ice wall that had been made by Todoroki's first attack. The half-and-half boy's eyes registered surprise as his opponent slammed into the cold wall, feet-first, hard enough to crack the ice and ensure a solid landing.

Izuku began to ricochet back and forth between the two walls while upping his percentage of eight percent. This almost made it impossible for Shoto to track, but he still managed to aim. Before he could use the ice to trap his opponent, Izuku was upon him.

He slammed his fist into Todoroki's face sending him reeling back, and he only stopped himself from going out of bounds by creating a small cluster of ice to support himself. Shoto growled as the green-haired boy skid to stop with the two ice walls behind him.

"You've improved a great deal, Midoriya." Shoto commented. "I shouldn't have underestimated the favorite of our number one hero."

"All Might's got nothing to do with this fight." Midoriya replied with a fierce determination in his eyes. "For that matter, neither does Endeavor! You could have gotten me with a fire blast while I was using your ice to get in close, but you're not using your full potential!"

"Why do you care if I use my fire!?" Todoroki snapped as he straightened, the air around him plunging to negative degrees. "Did my monster of a dad bribe you or something!?"

Without waiting for a response, he charged forward. Before Midoriya could formulate a response, he was forced to dodge his classmate's attempted grip strike, which would have frozen half his body if Todoroki had managed to grab him.

"I just told you!" Izuku grunted as he dodged around to the icy boy's back before punching him in the side with a kidney shot. "He doesn't have anything to do with this! It's just you and me, and like everyone else, we're supposed to be giving it our all!"

"How I use this power is up to me!" Todoroki reeled from the blow that had been dealt to him before sending a wave of ice which trapped Midoriya by his feet. "Besides, I don't need that bastard's power to win, see? You can't move. You're done."

"No, I'm not!" Izuku screamed.

He momentarily upped the percentage to ten percent and managed to free himself before reducing it back to eight percent. Todoroki leaped back as the ice exploded, narrowly dodging an impromptu bombardment of his own ice.

"I'm here to live up to the expectations people have for me." Izuku declared firmly. "So many people helped me make it this far, so I won't let them down. I'll give everything, just as you should be!"

Without warning, Midoriya shot forward and slammed his fist into his opponent's gut. Todoroki barely registered the pain of the blow against his desperation to remain in the ring. Fortunately, he managed to catch himself with another ice cluster.

"If you want to reject your father, that's your business." Midoriya stepped forward. "Just know that means you aren't beating me."

"I will beat you…" Todoroki protested with a pained grunt. "With one hand, I will defeat you, Midoriya. I refuse…to use my left side."

"Your Quirk is yours alone!" Izuku yelled. "You power, not his!"

All of this resulted in Shoto remembering a myriad of things all at once. Everything his father did from 'training' to separating him from his siblings. All the memories he had of his mother. How she burned his face because that side of him reminded her of father.

Then, it shifted to other memories of how she would encourage him to be the Hero he wanted. Finally, how he looked up to All Might who preached the same about Quirks that Izuku was now. In this moment, Shoto realized he'd forgotten so much over the years.

In that moment, a massive flame came off Shoto melting whatever ice may have been forming up to this point. "You're helping your opponent even though you wanted to win this battle. Now who is screwing around?"

"I wanted to win the right way." Midoriya replied with a grin.

"I want that too." Shoto straightened himself as he smiled. "I'll be a hero!"

"YES SHOTO!" Endeavor walked down to the edge of the barrier. "Have you finally accepted your purpose?! That's it! Very good! This is the dawn of a new era for us! With my blood in your veins, you'll surpass me! You will live up to the reason I CREATED YOU!"

His body flared up as much as his son's when he said those words. A single strand of water trickled down Todoroki's cheek, most likely he shed a tear for breaking his oath, but he didn't stop using his flames. He didn't care anymore.

"Endeavor is suddenly shouting words of...encouragement?" Mic guessed. "What a doting father."

"Why are you smiling?" Todoroki asked his opponent, who looked puzzled. "In this hopeless situation, you must be crazy." This got Midoriya to renew his fighting stance with a fierce look in his eyes. "Don't blame me for what happens next."

The flames cooled, replaced by the beginnings of an ice barrage bigger than anything Todoroki has ever made before. In response, the pressure that Midoriya's power gave off intensified to the point the clothing on his left leg and right arm were torn to shreds.

He gritted his teeth and prepared for what he knew would be his final attack. "My bones will break, but I don't have any other choice!" He braced for the agony that was to come. "I must risk it if I'm to beat Todoroki at his best!"

There was tremor in the ground as the concrete beneath them began to shift, which must have been the work of Cementoss, but the combatants ignored even that. The ice storm was on its way, and Midoriya easily cleared it with One For All's full power,

Izuku was making a beeline for his classmate. "Come at me with your full power, Todoroki!"

The instant before he could lay waste to the other boy with a Detroit Smash, the flames were back, and the explosion they created instantly destroyed the entire arena. The referees were blown away by the powerful attacks colliding, and rubble shot out in every direction.

"This is crazy!" Kaminari yelped.

"What's happening down there!?" Yaoyorozu shouted.

The maelstrom eventually stilled itself and ceased hurling concrete at everyone. Rex looked around to make sure nobody had been hurt and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that they were safe.

Present Mic groaned, having lost much of his usual volume. "What just happened?"

"Outside the ring…" Midnight announced as she recovered. "It's Midoriya! He's out!" She cracked her whip. "Todoroki is our winner and will advance to the third round!"

The crowd began to cheer again as the dust cleared to reveal Midnight's descriptions were correct. Todoroki was battered, but he was still standing within the remnants of the arena while Midoriya had slammed against the far wall. His left leg and right arm were broken.

"Aw." Rex sighed. "I was hoping he'd win."

"They both put up an excellent fight." Iida replied. "Besides, I'm sure his performance thus far will present Midoriya with many opportunities. Why, I wouldn't…Hmm?" The tall boy paused and pulled out his cell phone. "Sorry, it's my mother." He go up and walked away. "I'll be back."

As he left the seating area, Rex noticed Uraraka looked bummed about the outcome too. "I thought Deku could beat him."

"Hey, Iida's right you two." Kaminari interjected. "Midoriya did a great job showing his skills to the point I bet a lot of Heroes took notice of him."

"Yeah, you're right." Rex stood up. "Anyways, I'm going to go visit him." He walked off. "Anyone who wants to come, feel free. If you don't, I'll let you know whether he was permanently injured."

Denki and Mina shared a look since they knew their match was next.

"Sorry, we want to go, but we can't due to our match coming up next." Denki voiced.

"Wish Midoriya a speedy recovery from the both of us." Mina added.

Rex smiled back at them. "Will do guys."

Since Momo and Ochaco didn't have a match coming up, they followed.

Tomura's Room

Tomura, the voice, and Van Kleiss were waiting for the next match. During this time, Shigaraki was printing out pictures of the two that had just fought, as well as of Rex. If anything came out of this, it's that Tomura was starting to see who he had to take out.

"It seems as though you have learned more about your enemies." The voice noted. "Remember Tomura, they are just one of many you will need to deal with in order to achieve your goal."

"I can see that." Shigaraki replied. "Now, I know who else I want to destroy."

"It's not just that." Van Kleiss chimed in.

"I'm just finding the obstacles that I need to get rid of." Shigaraki remarked. "What else is there to look for?"

"Aside from looking at your enemies, you should also be looking for allies." Van Kleiss informed. "Students with the potential to see things our way, one way or another."

"You mean like that ice brat?" Shigaraki questioned.

"It's too late for him." Van Kleiss informed. "That green haired boy helped him through what we could have exploited which puts him out of your reach."

"You're suggesting Tomura look for a student to turn to our side." The voice stated, intrigued by the suggestion.

Van Kleiss smirked. "It is such a pity Shigaraki has yet to ascertain such forethought."

"Watch your tone." Shigaraki warned.

Hallways

Ochaco noticed Iida, who looked as though he'd been physically struck in the stomach, clenching his phone firmly. "Hey, you two go on without me. I need to talk to Iida."

Both 1-A students looked over at him before nodding in the affirmative.

"Hey Iida, is something wrong?" Ochaco asked concerned. "You don't look good."

Iida's arm went limp as he turned to Ochaco with a dark, haunted look. "It's Tensei…My mom just called. She said…a villain got him."

"That's horrible." Ochaco was shocked. "I-Is he…"

"I don't know yet." Iida replied with a pained look. "If I'm being honest, my mother didn't sound very confident."

Recovery Girl's Temp Office

Rex and Momo entered the temporary office where Recovery Girl was just finishing her treatment of Midoriya. The freckled guy looked a little worn out but was healthy as he turned to smile at his friends. "Hey guys, how are you?"

"I think we should be the ones asking that." Momo voiced.

The green-haired boy held up his bandaged hand. "Ah, the damage wasn't that bad."

Rex looked at Recovery Girl for confirmation. "How is he?"

"He'll have some scars, but there's no permanent damage to his muscles or tendons." The aged Heroine was scowling at her patient. "Though through no skill of his. From now on, I'd better not see you risking your well-being in such an irresponsible manner, young man."

When Momo started to protest, Recovery Girl smacked her on the head with her cane. "I know his Quirk is difficult to control, but his temperament is the real enemy here. If he continues to take such risks, there's a chance he could irreparably harm or kill himself."

She fixed her sharp gaze on Midoriya, who had yet to voice a protest. "I know being a Hero involves risks, but you should never ignore the potential consequences that can be avoided, even if it is difficult. Am I clear, young man?"

Izuku nodded as he gazed down at his bandaged arm. "Yes, ma'am."

"Let the scars on your hand be a reminder." Recovery Girl then directed them to the door. "Now go on, all of you. I need to be ready for the next person that comes in."

As they left, Rex made sure to give Izuku Mina and Denki's message.

Hallway

Rex, Momo, and Izuku walked into the hallway only to see Uraraka approaching with a somber look.

"Is everything okay?" Izuku asked concerned.

"No, it's not." Ochaco responded. "Iida just got a call from his family. Ingenium was attacked by a Villain and was wounded, badly." There were various exclamations of disbelief from the others. "I don't know any more than that. Iida's heading to the hospital to be with his family."

"I'll call him later to see how he's doing." Izuku voiced.

Stadium

With the arena fixed, Denki and Mina left their seats to head to their respective starting points. They only stopped just outside the entrance to their class' seating area to exchange a hug before going their separate ways. They then met back up in the arena.

"Now that the ring's been fixed, let's get the next match started!" Mic announced as the two students walked into the arena. "It's the girl who skated circles around her prior opponent with acid. The Hero course's Mina Ashido! Her opponent showed last round that he couldn't easily be trapped. Also from the Hero Course, Denki Kaminari!"

"Guess it's time to see which one of us is the better fighter." Denki voiced.

"I'll tell you exactly what I told Yuga." Mina declared confidently. "I'm gonna melt your butt!"

"Why are so fixated on that?" Kaminari asked.

"BEGIN!" Present Mic announced.

Ashido vs Kaminari

That proclamation set aside whatever response Mina might have come up with as she started sliding across the stage in a zig-zag pattern. Denki knew he couldn't simply rush things considering they'd trained together the month leading up to this.

As such, he took a moment to gauge her before ultimately decided to start once more with a burst of his electricity. With a sudden shout, he discharged it. Mina immediately threw up a wall of her acid which managed to protect her from being shocked.

Just as with Ibara, Denki was on the move rushing Mina down since she was stationary. Kaminari came close to nailing her across the face, but her natural flexibility saw her dodge the initial strike. As he attempted to follow up, she wove around him.

Soon enough, Kaminari was put on the defensive as Mina began tossing globs of acid at him. This forced him to either counter with his limbs electrically charged or dodge the attacks entirely. Eventually, she got close enough to the point Denki took a gamble in suddenly lunging forward.

This caught her off guard to the point he managed to wrap his arms around her waist. Despite the fact he was electrically charged, she was coated in a thin veil of acid that was enough to prevent herself from being shocked. In the end, Kaminari saw this coming.

"Denki, you're not really achieving much trying to shock me like this." Mina voiced.

"You're right." Denki smirked up at her as he began to spark with more electricity. "That's why, I'm about to give it my all."

Mina's eyes widened. "Hang on, I know we said no holding back but come on!"

Despite how much they did know each other, Kaminari had never seen Mina suddenly produce this much acid at once before. He assumed it was due to her being scared, so the guy took the necessary steps to assure her.

"Don't worry, I've got a read on my electricity to know this won't kill anybody." Denki's electricity kept building. "That said, this will certainly hurt, so if you want to surrender now, I won't hold it against you."

"N-No way!" Mina declared, as a lot of acid had been generated at this point.

"Well, I gave you a chance." Kaminari smiled. "Indiscriminate Shock: 1.3 Million Volts!"

"Gotcha!" Suddenly, she flashed her boyfriend a devilish smirk. "Acidman: Lowest Solubility!"

Suddenly, all the acid she'd been forming snapped to around her body just as the massive burst of electricity went off. When it finally died down, Denki's mind was fried. He let go of Mina, who was far less shocked than she would have been, and flashed thumbs up goofily.

"I knew you wouldn't resist using that move, so I planned a counter." Mina began skating around the arena to pick up momentum and stayed low before heading towards him. "Now, it's time for my finishing move! AN UPPERCUT!"

She clocked Kaminari in the chin with an uppercut that lifted him off the ground while rendering him unconscious.

Rex arrived, back in the stands, just in time to see the finisher which made him flinch. "Denki should have been wary of that considering what she did to Yuga last round. At least he wasn't hit clear out of the arena. Still, I'll have to be sure to get the play by play later."

"Kaminari was rendered unconscious." Midnight had walked onto the arena to inspect the electric boy. "Ashido wins and will advance to the semifinals!"

Stadium

Upon seeing her boyfriend being taken away by stretcher, Mina worried she might have overdone it a tad. It wasn't long before she was on her way after him.

Recovery Girl's Temporary Office

Mina entered the office just as Recovery Girl finished healing and waking Kaminari. She then left to get a drink leaving the couple alone.

Despite his mind being fried at the time, Denki had been aware of what happened. "Man, you hit hard, you know that?"

"Well, we did agree on not holding back." Mina voiced, apprehensively.

"Het, cheer up." Kaminari smiled. "It's not like I hold it against you. After all, we both agreed to give it our best, and Midoriya spoke a lot of sense in his match prior. Everyone is giving their best, so we have no right to do any less."

"I know you're right, but I still could have ended it without flooring you." Mina voiced.

"Then, give me a kiss." Denki stated.

"What!?" Mina gaped.

"You heard me." Denki gave her a devilish grin. "You feel bad about flooring me so give me a kiss as recompence. Then, we can put this behind us."

Mina had been more shocked to hear him make such a request, but now that she'd heard it again, there wasn't a need for the added explanation. Mina kissed Denki on the lips for a good, long moment…before Recovery Girl returned.

"Hey, no kissing in my office!" Recovery Girl hit the two teens over the head with her cane just hard enough to make her point. "Now, go do that somewhere that's not here! I need this space for the injured!"

Both teens beat a hasty retreat out the door. Despite being caught and taking a cane to the head, the couple were all smiles after their kiss. Now, it was time to hurry back to the stands. They didn't want to miss Rex's match if they could help it.

Stadium

"Looks like our match has come." Momo voiced as she returned to the stands and looked at Rex. "This time, there is no weapon, and I'm aware you can make multiple builds. In short, this shall not be an easy battle."

"Good, I'll be looking forward to it then." Rex declared before they started to head out.

"Hey, tin can!" Bakugo's voice stopped him, as his eyes met the glare of his classmate. "You better not lose because I want to kill you myself." His glare intensified as he stood. "You, Deku, and that icy-hot bastard have been ignoring me this whole time, and I won't put up with it anymore. You hear me? I will destroy you and prove I'm the number one student."

"Let me set one thing straight, Bakugo." Rex stepped up to the explosive student, unafraid of him. "You're not winning because I'm confident someone will beat you. If it's not me next round, it'll be Kirishima this round, Momo the next, or whoever wins the other semifinal match.

I refuse to believe someone like you can win this. Let me be clear, I don't expect you to be the model Hero, but I expect you to be more like you were after defeating Uraraka." He turned and proceeded to walk away. "Basically, have more humility if you want a chance of winning."

"YOU BAS…" Bakugo began

"Calm down, dude!" From there on, he left to the sounds of Kirishima trying to restrain Bakugo.

"Now we move onto this round's third match." Mic declared. "It's the girl who managed to maintain her cool and take down her opponent. The Hero course's Momo Yaoyorozu!" Momo walked out with a serious look given who her opponent was.

"Her opponent this round took his last match like it was nothing, continuing his streak throughout the Sports Festival. Also from the Hero Course, Rex Salazar!" Rex came on out with a casual grin feeling more than ready to fight.

"Genuine warning, Momo." Rex smiled. "Be ready now because the moment we're able to begin, I'm coming right at you."

"I'm well aware, Rex." Momo unzipped her top to have her stomach exposed. "Rest assured; I'm not going down easy. Not after I made it this far."

"BEGIN!" Present Mic announced.

Yaoyorozu vs Salazar

Rather than go with the Rex Ride, as that's served its purpose for now, Rex built his Punk Busters while Momo was creating something big from her stomach. Salazar sprung forward aiming to take Yaoyorozu out of bounds. Then, her creation, a canon, appeared in his path.

Rex slammed into it, gut first, winding him before she fired it sending him flying. Fortunately, his Pink Busters made him heavy, so he didn't fly far. Though if he hadn't had them, he doubted the blast would have been enough to send him out of bounds.

Momo was already rushing in, creating her metal rod in the process. Rex just got up as she vaulted off the rod and planted her feet into his stomach winding the guy for the second time. Clearly, she was attempting to overwhelm and keep him down.

Unfortunately for her, he was a little sturdier than that and almost immediately jumped high into the air thanks to his Punk Busters. He disassembled them before immediately building the Boogie Pack, allowing him time to catch his breath.

Momo briefly looked up before running to her already made canon while creating a different kind of canon ball to load within. Unfortunately for her, Rex almost immediately fired off his Boogie Pack's weights with only enough force to knock her away from the canon.

This also proved to be just enough force, as the cables attached to the weights wrapped her up, to knock Momo out of the ring. With her skin covered by said cables, there wasn't a thing she could try to create that would save herself.

"Yaoyorozu is out of bounds!" Midnight cracked her whip. "Salazar will advance!"

Stadium

Rex landed beside Momo and moved to free her. "I'll admit, you caught me off guard." Once she was free, he helped her stand. "Since I didn't know what you were going to do, I had to play it safe and keep my options open with a second built, should I have needed it."

"While I thank you for your kind words, I know you were simply stronger." Momo nodded. "That said, go on to win this. It'll make placing where I have more tolerable in the long run."

"I'll do my best." Rex answered.

Hallways

Izuku had been taking a walk for a while now, thinking over everything, and he finally came to a consensus just as he spotted Toshinori. "All Might!"

"Young Midoriya." Toshinori turned to greet him.

"Hey, remember when you told me why you came to UA?" Izuku began suddenly. "To find a worthy successor to inherit One for All?"

"Yeah." Toshinori responded, uncertain where his successor was going yet willing to listen.

"I put everything I had into winning the Sports Festival, but still, there were competitors who fought harder than I did." Izuku declared. "So…maybe…"

"You're thinking it might be better for someone else to be my successor." Toshinori now understood what Midoriya was trying to get at. "Right?"

"Yes." Midoriya answered solemnly. "Even with how far I've come, there are likely many here who could do better than I have."

"Well, you speak some truth." Toshinori admitted. "This place is full of incredible, potential Heroes. One for All is a crystallization of power. It bolsters Quirks. For example, were I to have given it to young Salazar, the boost he'd see would make him truly unbeatable."

Izuku was sad, but he would accept it. "Then…"

"But you know, I was Quirkless as a kid." Toshinori informed, to the shock of Izuku. "Back then, it wasn't all that rare, but it was still out of the ordinary. Even though I lacked a Quirk of my own, I had someone who believed in me. My master gifted me this Quirk and trained me to."

"You never told me about that." Izuku voiced.

"It's not my fault you never ask." Toshinori smiled. "Honestly, a little surprising."

"I just can't believe the number 1 Hero was Quirkless." Izuku responded.

"It's true." Toshinori declared. "When we met, I saw a little of the old me in you, but kid, you've gone beyond my expectations. One day, you'll do incredible things with One for All, and that is something I truly believe."

Izuku teared up. "I'll do my best."

"Maybe he needs someone his own age to talk with more than I initially thought." Toshinori's mind turned to the idea his successor posed before. "Anyways, the Sports Festival isn't over yet. Get out there before you miss the end."

"Right." Izuku declared.

Stadium

The final match, of the second round, was already underway. Eijiro Kirishima was on the offensive as Katsuki Bakugo was forced on the defense. Eijiro went for a punch to the face, only to barely scratch the explosive student as he got blasted by an explosion.

"Ha!" Kirishima laughed as he was unharmed. "Nice try, but that's not gonna work on me explosion boy!"

"Kirishima!" Tetsutetsu cheered his friendly rival on. "Go straight for his chin! HIS CHIN!"

"What, you're rooting for him now man?" Juzo pointed out.

Bakugo kept trying to counter in the, repeatedly, but wasn't having an effect.

"Bakugo's having a heck of a time dodging Kirishima's fierce attacks!" Mic commentated.

Izuku finally came back to the stands, watching from the entrance. "Whoa, Kacchan's on the defensive?" He started to mutter again. "I guess Kirishima's Quirk seems simple on the surface, but it's still effective."

"Izuku!" Rex came on down the hallway and had met up with him. "Looks like you were ready to come back."

"Yeah, sorry about that." Midoriya apologized. "Still, it looks like you won against Momo while Mina beat Denki."

"Yeah." Rex nodded. "Mina will actually be up against Todoroki after this match. I think she might have learned something from your match with him."

Midoriya looked down. Despite his talk with All Might, it didn't mean we wasn't saddened to have lost.

"Yeah." He decided to change the subject. "Is your family watching you compete? They must be proud of how well you've done."

"I know they are." Rex answered with a smile. "I'll talk to them after my final battle, whichever it might be."

Their attention soon turned to the arena when an explosion was heard and Mic announced, "WOHAA! Bakugo is countering again, but what's this? It seems to be working this time!"

Eijiro was in pain from that last attack, as Katsuki spoke up. "You've been straining to keep your body rock hard for this whole fight, right? But that means you're overusing your Quirk. Sooner or later, you'll fall apart!"

The explosive boy began sending out a barrage of point-blank blasts at his opponent, smiling and letting out a war cry as he continued to batter Kirishima.

"Too much!" Eijiro grunted.

The attack was overwhelming him, ripping pieces of his gym outfit. He was losing the strength needed to keep both his Quirk and guard up.

"The finishing blow! DIE!" Bakugo yelled out as he swung his arm and let out one final explosion that sent his opponent back, knocking the red head out. "Now I understand why you were trying to avoid a drawn-out match with me."

"Kirishima has been knocked out!" Midnight declared. "Bakugo is the winner!"

Stadium

"What were you doing idiot!?" Tetsutetsu called out. "I thought you had more guts than that Kirishima!"

"With that vicious carpet bombing, Bakugo advances to the third round." Mic announced. "Ladies and gentlemen, our final four!"

The screen showed Shoto Todoroki, Mina Ashido, Rex Salazar, and Katsuki Bakugo. Mina stood only to notice Shoto was already heading into the tunnel. He would be tough to beat, but she hadn't come this far just to give up.

Kaminari grabbed her hand, getting her attention. "Give it your best, Mina."

"Of course." Mina stated.

Denki squeezed her hand for a second before letting her head off.

Given the fact Izuku has broken himself less, as well as all his training, he actually comes off his defeat to Shoto far less injured. No surgery needed. Katsuki just takes his win like canon. Both Mina and Denki were stronger than their canon counterparts, so it really came down to whose Quirk countered the others better, at this point in the story. I gave the edge to Mina here. I think Rex's battle with Momo is rather self-explanatory.

Maximum Rhapsody: No Omega Nanite yet. As for Itsuka's transfer and Monoma's reaction, remember that happened on the second day of school. There's not much to note on it.
