The Spectrum Wars: Turning Point:
At Steel City, a orange haired archer is seen fighting against a man with skin made of bricks as he shoots him with arrows.
"Come on, Brick, show me what you got!" Speedy shouts as Brick charges at the archer and is ready to jump on him, until he is punched by a glowing green boxing glove which sends him to the wall.
"Great, just what I need, help from that Arrowhead-" Speedy's grim expression changed into relief when he saw the Beastly Lantern.
"What's up, Red?" Beastly asked as he floats towards him.
"Doing good, Elf." Speedy replied as he prepares another arrow towards Brick "Just fighting this guy."
"The Brick? What's he doing here from Star City?" Beastly asked as he constructs a mace.
"Oh you know, probably revenge." Speedy replied as Brick gets back up and is ready to attack.
"Need any help?" Beastly asked his old friend as both of their mentors are best friends.
"I think I and the Titans East can handle this." Speedy replied as a black girl appeared out of nowhere. "Ain't that right, Bee?"
"You know it, Ginger." Bumble Bee responded before her brown eyes fell on the Lantern's emerald eyes. "Who is that?"
"Beastly Lantern from Coast City and the main Titan team in Jump City." Beastly Lantern greeted the Titan leader who smiled at him. "But in private you can call me, Garfield."
"Bumble Bee, but you can call me Karen in private. What are you doing here, Beastly?" Bumble Bee asked the Lantern.
"Thought I'd see some old friends while Oa is under repair." Beastly told the bee themed woman as they saw Brick throwing crates towards them as Beastly constructs a shield "Hey! Can't you see I'm talking to a lady over here!?"
"Grr, I will crush you all!" Brick shouts as he is being drenched in water from a blue suited Atlantean boy, follow by a speeding blur running towards Brick as two pairs of red boots kicks him on the back, creating a force that sends Brick down.
"Mas y Menos, si podemos!" said the twin heroes raise their hands in victory.
"Gracias, amigos." Garfield told the twins as they spotted the young Lantern.
"*Ooh, that green suit and ring, it is the Green Lantern!*" Mas states as he shows admiration.
"*Yes, but this one is the Beastly Lantern, Green Lantern's partner from Coast City!*" Menos replied also in admiration.
"Sup, Beastly." Aqualad greeted his old friend.
"Long time no see, Aqua." Beastly greeted in return to his old friend. "Geez the gang is almost here, all we need his KF and WG."
"And Robin." Speedy replied to the Lantern.
"The second Robin, I don't think the first one likes me all that much." Beastly accepted the idea with a nod. "I don't know why?"
"Are you dating, Starfire?" Aqualad asked.
"Yes." Beastly anwered which made his old friends laugh. "What?"
"Robin has a mad crush on that girl." Bumble Bee informed the green teen.
"Really?" Beastly asked doumbfoundly. "Now that you mention it. That does make some sense."
"Are you dating Donna yet?" Aqualad asked as the brick monster got back up.
"No! Why?" Beastly blurted out as he blushed and flew towards the monster.
"He doesn't see it." Aqualad whispered to Speedy as their friend was more focused on fighting than them.
"That's kind of sad for a guy who has so many girlfriends." Speedy replied.
"You will all be crushed!" Brick shouts as he charges in towards the heroes as Speedy shoots a cryogenic arrow which instantly freezes the villain.
"Ice arrow, nice." Beastly states.
"Looks like Danny-boy will be sent off to Belle Reve soon." Speedy states as unknown to them they are being watched by a dark and armored figure from the rooftop.
"Pesky fleshlings, soon your world will be Reach territory." it said as he walks away, just as Beastly's ring picks up something.
"Your ring's beeping." Aqualad states.
"Looks like there's another alien life form here in the city." Beastly replied 'Is it another Yellow Lantern? Or an invader? Maybe it's Lobo who already misses me.'
"Who is it?" Bumble Bee asked as she leaned on the green teen's shoulder.
"It doesn't know. Apparantly it needs to see the being to get a reading on it." Beastly replied as his arm instinctively went around the Titan leader's waist to pull her close to him.
Everybody watched in silence as the two touching Titans blushed before the Lantern released the bee themed leader and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry about that. It was kind of instinctively to do that when a pretty girl is close to me."
"T-That's alright, Beastly." Bumble Bee replied as her team saw a rare blush on her cheeks.
Beastly flew up in the air as the Titans East follows suit after the police takes in Brick. The ring beeps for the intruding alien but it stops as it disappears.
"Frag, lost him." Beastly muttered "But I have a bad feeling about this bruiser. Better report to Stewart about this."
"Good luck, Elf." Speedy told him as the young Lantern flies off as the archer looks at his leader "You are so crushing on the Elf, aren't you?"
"Shut up, Arrowhead!" Bee retorts as Aqualad and the twins started laughing "Stop laughing you pinheads!"
"An unknown alien at Steel City?" John Stewart asked as he is in his complex apartment while being surprised that Garfield stopped by.
"Yeah, since Hal is away one a mission, I thought I'd tell you about it." Gar respond to the oldest Lantern.
"Why tell me?" John asked in confusion as Shayera came into view in just a t-shirt and panties which made the teen drool. "You were a Lantern before I was and there is a Titan team in Steal City. Surely you can handle this by yourself?"
"Yeah ha." Garfield muttered as his eyes followed the Thanagarian's long legs. "I forget."
"Wipe that drool from your mouth, Gar." Shayera playfully scolded as she smiled at the young Lantern. "I'm spoken for."
"Damn." Garfield whined as the older Lantern rolled his eyes. "Anyways I told you because someone else needed to know encase I'm gone off planet and something happens. I still have to tell Guy about it. Hopefully Tora is there so he'll behave."
"Understand, Gar." John replied with a knowing smirk. 'This kid would make a pretty good leader one day.' "Have fun with Guy."
"Now why don't you go and have some fun with your girlfriends while I have fun with my boyfriend, Garfield." Shayera suggested to the young Lantern but when he looked into her eyes he saw that she was so close to smashing him with her mace.
"Bye!" Garfield yelped as he ran from one of the few people that he fears, all who are women.
Robin isn't pleased.
Sitting on the couch watching TV while eating snacks with Star, Raven, and Beetle is the daughter of his worst enemy, Slade. Ravager has been put into Titans care since she betrayed her father, as Garfield suggests that she must be put under watch and in Titan's protection. Robin tried to declined since he doesn't trust her, but it was a four to one vote.
"Raven, of all people decides to let her in!?" Robin rants in his mind.
"So, when is the green stud going to come?" Rose asked as she drinks some soda.
"Soon, Mate Garfield is heading back from Steel City as we speak." Starfire states with a smile.
"Jaime, I am sensing an upcoming threat." the scarab on Blue Beetle's back warns him.
"Upcoming?" Blue Beetle replied as the scarab continued to speak to him "Oh, so it's not Ravager, but something outside?"
"Why is he talking to himself?" Ravager asked in confusion.
"It's his scarab talking." Raven replied to the girl she can relate to "What's upcoming, Beetle?"
"My scarab says that it seems familiar to it, but it isn't sure." Blue Beetle reported what his scarab told him.
"Scarab?" Ravager browsed.
"Reach technology." Blue Beetle informed the one eyes girl. "The Reach are an ancient race which would conquer the galaxy but apparently the Guardians made a treaty that they need to be invited onto a planet now, to conquer it."
"What if it is this Reach." Ravager suggested.
"Highly unlikely." Blue Beetle dissmissed with a wave of his hand. "I think my scarab would know that."
"I remember my father rejected the Reach from Tamaran." Starfire states "They must not be permitted to Earth."
"Maybe you can warn the government about them, always be ten steps ahead of the enemy like dad always taught me." Ravager suggested "Always make contingencies in your plans."
"Right, there's no way the Justice League will allow the Reach to 'reach' towards Earth." Garfield comments as he makes his way to the Tower.
"Mate Garfield!" Star screams of joy as she hugs the Lantern "How's your trip to Steel City?"
"Good, met up with Titan's East. Where's the tin man?" Garfield replied as he asked.
"On a date with some girl name Sarah." Beetle replied as he decides to tell the young Lantern he admires about something "Ese, I think there's going to be a bigger threat for Earth."
"I thought so, too." Garfield replied "I don't know who, but there was an unidentified alien in Steel City and I have a bad feeling that it's not going to be good."
"Maybe they're related." Raven states.
"Could be, probably alien invaders." Garfield theorizes. "The Earth hasn't suffered an alien invasion since the Starro invasion."
"But what if it's the Reach?" Beetle said with worry "What if the Reach are going to infiltrate the Earth?"
"If they did then it's a breach of the treaty." Garfield replied "If there is a Reach on Earth without being invited, then they have broken the treaty."
"They have only broken the treaty if you can prove it." Robin muttered to himself. "If not then it is a useless idea." 'Like you, Lantern!'
"Then we will all have to keep an eye open for anything Reach related." Garfield replied with a stern look to the Titan leader. "I should probably call, Karen."
"Who's Karen?" Raven asked.
"Oops." Garfield whispered. "I didn't say that, I said, Bumble Bee."
"I remember Cy used to date Bee, did he?" Beetle asked as Raven and Starfire nodded.
"He did? Well I hope he doesn't get jealous." Gar said as he already have enough of Robin being jealous of Starfire.
"You don't have worry about about that, he's in a relationship with this girl name Sarah." Raven states to the Lantern.
"Anyway, the best advise is to warn the world about the Reach just to be prepared." Ravager suggested.
"Good idea, Rose. I can get to Supes or Bats and notify them about a possible Reach invasion." Garfield replied as Ravager blushed. "That way, they can call the president to decline the Reach. You are a smart girl, Rose, ever consider being a Titan?"
"Me a Titan?" Rose blushed. "No not really. Sure my brother is a Titan but I never gave it thought."
"Your brother is a Titan? Who is he?" Garfield questioned.
"Jericho." Rose answered. "You probably don't know him but I'm sure they do."
"Friend Jericho is the mute and can play the guitar." Starfire commented.
"Is he good?" Garfield frowned.
"You bet your cute green butt he is." Rose growled as she is very protective of her brother.
"Alright." Garfield ease the girl's anger as he turns to Beetle as he sigh "Look Blue, I don't know if I should, but I might have to tell the Guardians about you."
"I understand, ese." Beetle replied. "If there ever were a Reach invasion, then I am living proof that they've breach the treaty since it doesn't say that the Reach will send in their scarabs towards the planets. Take me to the Guardians if you must."
"Hopefully it won't come to that." Garfield replied as he sent a message to the Titan East leader. "I'd send a message to the Guardians. I'll be right back, I need some privacy."
"Good luck." Raven deadpanned as she realized that she missed the company of Donna and the other Lantern girls who had to leave on important business. 'I hope they can return soon.'
Appearing in Raven's room, a blue ring materializes on the pillow of her bed.
"Damn it! Why is Hal never around!" Carol yelled as she slammed her fists down onto her coffee table. "One minute he's here and the next he's not!"
Carol was so observed in her ranting that she didn't notice when a purple ring flew in through her open window.
"Carol Ferris." The ring spoke into existence which caused her to turn to the floating object. "You have known great love and grea heartache. You belong with the Star Sapphires."
"Star Sapphires?" Carol asked the ring and she felt like a fool for doing it.
Starfire floats towards to her room as she has a worried feeling in her mind 'Mate Garfield has been with so many girls, that he chose me to be my first. But sometimes he worries me.'
'Don't fret over him, Koriand'r.' said the voice as Star opens her jewelry box to pick up a sapphire ring that she kept the moment Gar leaves to protect Oa. 'You belong to the Star Sapphires, where we will bring love to conquer hate.'
"Yes." Star said as she is already under the influence of the ring.
"So this planet, it's filled with heroes?" inquired the Black Beetle, as a Reach scout gives him Intel on planet Earth.
"Yes, there are groups of heroes called the Justice League as well as those called the Teen Titans." the Reach scout replied to his boss.
"Were you spotted?" Black Beetle demanded as he could care less what their names were. "We don't need the Guardians on our back."
"A Green Lantern was alerted by his ring but he didn't see me." The scouts admited as he sighed and heard the beetle growl.
"You couldn't do a simple thing like getting intel without being spotted." Black Beetle growled as he punched a hole through the scout's chest. "I'll inform our leader of your information and your failure."
'Atrocitus. You feel great rage and anger. You desire revenge for your wife and daughter. You belong with the Red Lantern Corps.' A voice rings as two red rings appeared before him. 'You can kill the Guardians.'
"Why two rings?" Artocitus asked as the ring slipped on his finger and he spent the next minutes screaming in agony as blood oozed from his mouth with a sadistic smile.
'There is a human who has resisted his rage, you must physicaly place the ring on him and he will have no choice but to give in.' The voice told the red skinned man. 'Find the human Garfield Logan aka Beastly Lantern and make him one of us.'
"Gladly." Atrocitus growled as he can feel the rage powering him.
Blackfire is seen hiding out inside a spaceship as she as she eats some strange and disgusting looking Tamaranean cuisine she has cooked up.
"The empire should be mine." Blackfire muttered as she eats "And I want Lantern Logan for myself."
'You wish to want something?' said a voice as a orange flash of light appears as Blackfire covers her eyes. She opened them as she saw a orange ring 'Koriand'r, wear this ring of Greed and you will have anything you want for yourself.'
"Anything?" Blackfire asked as she wears the ring as it covers an orange light. She now wears a orange tank top with a symbol of a circle with four lines connected and a V on top, and a matching skirt with gloves and boots, with black sleeves that covers her arms, legs, and midriff. "Wow, I'm feeling real greedy."
'That's the point.' The ring replied.
"I want more." Blackfire whispered to herself in a silent pleading. "More power! More orange rings!"
'There is only one other and he will try to take your ring.' The ring warned the princess. 'You will need to take his first.'
"I must have all the orange. Including the entity." Blackfire stated with a dangerous smirk on her lips. "First I get Garfield as my lover and then I get the power."
Raven meditates in her room as many thoughts in her mind processed. She has a lot of things to think about, like the Spectrum War, many other Lanterns, and now Slade has the Yellow Lantern ring.
"Dear Azar, I hope there is a solution to this." she said to herself as she sigh "If only I do something to help."
'Rachel Roth.' said the voice as Raven shivered when someone used her true name her mother gave her. A flashing blue light appeared in front of her as a blue ring appeared 'You have been chosen to wear the Blue Lantern ring of hope.'
"You." Raven whispered as she recognized the voice that had been speaking to her. "It's really you?"
'Yes, Rachel Roth. You have shown great hope when Trigon attacked and in your quest for the Green Lantern. You belong to the Blue Lantern Corps.'
"I-I accept." Raven stated as the ring slipped onto her right ring finger and her leotard turned just as blue as her cloak and hood. "I knew I would find a way to help."
