In the previous chapter we saw how akasha and xander rescued zane from that alleyway. Now their going to try and perform surgery to save his life, along with trifia trying to figure out how to escape this jail.RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. I own the OC's, AU. Hope you enjoy!
Chapter 3 Blue:Surgery
Zane was back in the dark place wondering where he was still. He keep waking up then going back to sleep. Everytime he wakes up he leave this place it seems. But he balled up waiting for that mysterious copy of him to return.
As he did he thought about his teammates and friends. He just hoped they got out safe and their alive. He happy if they got out without him. At least their safe from him if he was every to be under that bastards control again.
Zane sighed as he looked up at the sky or more like the dark void. But their was a small light above illuminating the place. It looked to be a type of orb of light maybe. As Zane stood their wondering when the copy would come back.
Soon enough he felt someone tapp his shoulder and he scrambled up ready to face the foe. He got in an offensive stance with his fist cocked back. But he looked to see the copy of himself waving to him. Zane sighed as he relaxed his stance and cracked his knuckles.
"Well your finally back….feels like i've been waiting for you forever for you to return"the copy said
"Sorry can't exactly control when I come here. "Zane retorted crossing his arms.
The copy laughed as he paced around zane in a circle. As zane watched him he wondered what this guys name was exactly. Maybe it would make talking to him easier at times. Zane tapped his chin and his copy took notice of this.
"Deep in thought?"the copy questioned.
"Yeah…just wondering whats your name exactly?"zane questioned.
The copy stood their for a second not answering. But zane figured out that it might not exactly have a name or something. The copy groaned a little as he rubbed his eyes a little.
"I..don't have a name…I was never given one"he replied
Zane then tapped his chin for a moment thinking of something then snapped his fingers.
"Hey I got it i'll call you Bane ''Zane said as the copy ears perked up as he tittled his head.
"Really why would you call me that?"The copy asked
"Well it'll make talking with each other easier here. Where ever here is"Zane said rubbing his neck.
The copy smiled chuckling at the name zane said"you know I like the sound of that…Bane"the copy replied smiling.
"Great so Bane…got another question for you"Zane asked
"Shoot"bane replied as he made a shooting motion.
Zane looked around noticing the five doors are back and they all had detailing on them this time. Each door had some weird glowing hue around them. Along with black tendrils on the bottom of the door frames.
The first door on the far left seemed to be a laboratory door. It was metal in appearance and colored grey. On the door their were letters in white on it. The letters spelled out Subject Omega with a warning sigh below it.
The second door close to that one seemed similar the boxing door from colts gym. If he recall it was a dark green door that was metal in appearance. Their was a window in the middle of the door but he couldn't tell what was on the other side. On top of it was a pair of boxing gloves that were black in color with white laces on them. Along with the name Nadia Walker embroidered on the gloves.
The third door looked to be his dorm door from beacon. But it was weird because it was colored black and white. It shined on one side brightly while the other side had black hands gripping it. On the middle of the door frame was a O in the middle. It seemed to be made of metal and hamemred onto it. Their was also a stitched heart embedded into the wood as well.
Then the fourth door seemed to be made of fire and ice. The right half of the door was surrounded by flames that crackled and moved around. While the left side was frozen over with ice hissing over it. On the door was the letter E and R along with being made of metal as well.
The fifth door was just a plain old door to Zane. It was dark blue and it seemed normal. But their was a large claw mark on the door. Three in total with a Z on it hanging on it by a thread it seems.
"Whats with all these doors here?"zane asked his counter part.
Bane tapped his chin as he sat their cross legged"from what I gather memories….your memories if I recall"Bane replied
Zane looked around confused at this wondering why their are doors to each of his memories here. But that would mean they play a key part in where he is now. Zane walked toward the doors going around in a circle examining them.
Then he stopped in front of the one that looked to be a lab door. He didn't want to even go in this door at all. Because it might bring back those memories from the lab. He didn't want to experience them again.
He tried all the other doors first to see if they were unlocked. But they all were and he already guess that the one with Subject Omega on it was unlocked.
Zane sighed as he stepped forward toward the door. He clicked a buton on it as it opened and revealed a bright light. Zane was about to step in but Bane stood beside looked at him a little confused at what he was doing.
"What are you doing?"zane questioned Bane.
Bane looked at Zane for a moment studying him and put his hand on Zane shoulder.
"I'm here to help you….this may be a painful moment right now. But their not much you can do here anyway. Lets see what this has in store for us."Bane said, trying to reassure Zane.
Zane looked at his fist clenching it tight and looked at the blinding light. He took a deep breath before stepping through to the other side.
Back in the real world Zane was sprawled out on an operating tabel as Ross and Xander changed into some scrubs. Xander wore a doctor's scrub that covered his wolfs ears so he didn't get any hair or something on the patient.
Carver was outside waiting incase anything happened. Ross then took some scissors and cut Zane shirt off. He removed the shirt slowly and as he did Zane groaned in pain at this. Soon enough he got the shirt off to examin his wounds.
Their was bruising on his side which suggested he bruised himself around his ribs. But it could also mean he broke some ribs. The doctor was surrpsied a little because the kids' aura should kick in. But that didn't matter; he had to treat the stab wound in his abdomen.
"Alright looks like he received lacerations around his abdomen. Perhaps a blade did this judging by the depth of the wound. Grab me some disinfected kid and something to wash his wound"ross ordered as Xander did just that.
Xander went to the table as he grabbed a bottle of disinfected along with a small wash cloth. Then he grabbed a small bucket of water to help him. He sat it next to the doctor who nodded thanking him.
Ross then tore off the banaged wrapped around Zanes waist with a pair of scissors. He gently cut it to make sure he didn't cause further injury. After a couple minutes he finally managed to remove the bandage successfully.
Then he threw it in a nearby waist container. After that he gently washed the affected area. Zane was asleep as they attached him to a heart rate monitor. Along with a iv drip to provide him some nutrients to him.
After about five minutes of washing the wound Ross their the rag into a nearby disposable tray. Then he motioned for the bottle of disinfected. Xander grabbed it handing it too the man. He took it and got another cloth.
He put the cloth on top of the bottle then he quickly dumped it onto the rag. Ross put the bottle down as he set the bottle down. Xander grabbed it and twisted the cap back onto it. Ross took a deep breath as he put the rag on Zane's gut wound.
The heart rate monitor went up a little as Zane moved around a little. But Xander held him down as the doctor treated the wound. Soon enough he was done as the medicine started to kick in sealing the wound.
Xander then grabbed a bottle of paste it seems and Ross smiled at him.
"Good job kid"Ross complimented the wolf faunus who smiled underneath his surgeons mask.
Ross then gently slathered the wound with the paste. It looked to be made from a variety of herbs it seems maybe. It looked to be green and blue in color. Soon Ross slatehred the paste over the wound. He went to throw his gloves away that were covered in the paste.
Xander watched the heart rate monitor as Zane soundly sleep on the table.
Back in the safehouse Miyuki was walking toward a selcudded corner in the safehouse. She sighed to herself wondering how everything turned out like this. Miyuki hoped that everything would be alright but had doubts.
Their one way out was screwed since the controls to the gate short circutied. And no one here knows how to hard wire a gate that would lead them out of the city. But it could also lead them to more grimm.
Miyuki rested her head against the concrete wall she was at until someone whistled at her. Miyuki looked up to see Akasha their with something in her hands.
"Hey you hungry?"akasha question raising a energy bar.
"No i'm fine i–"miyuki begun but a grumbling sound could be heard from her. She slightly blushed as Akasha chuckled at the girl.
"Give me the damn bar,"Miyuki relented.
Akashas tossed the bar to the girl who caught it. It was a strawberry protein bar and she chuckled a little. She undid the wrapper and took a bite into it. The taste was sweet to her and she swallowed it.
As she ate it Akasha groaned a little taking a seat next to the girl. The two sat their quietly waiting for one of them to talk. Akasha then decided to start some conversation.
"So how….you from Vale?"Akasha asked
Miyuki ate another bite of the bar slowly as she thought of her answer. Then she chewed the food in her mouth before swallowing it.
"Yeah…we lived in a village on the outskirts of Vale. My dad is the mayor their"Miyuki replied
"Really interesting, well from my appearance, where do you think i'm from?"Akasha replied
Miyuki tapped the side of her head trying to come up with something. Judging by the falcon faunus appearance she could say menagerie. But that would be racist maybe but her attire does suggest something.
The girl could be from mistral, vale or vacou maybe. As she thought soon she came up with an answer for the girls question.
"Are you from Vacou?"Miyuki asked, hesitating a little.
Akasha shook her head smiling"nope Menagerie….though I did live in vacou for a few years. So you got half the answer right. "Akasha replied
"Hmm well didn't want to seem rude, most faunus say their from menagerie. I didn't wanna seem rude."Miyuki added
"Hey don't sweat it….i'm used to it. Though I do hope we get out of here soon"Akasha replied with some worry across her face.
Miyuki stood up a little to stretch her back a little. A large cracked could be heard from her and she rubbed her back.
"Yeah…but our main problem I guess is keeping everything clam. But since your brought Zane they seemed freaked out."Miyuki said as the two started to walk around for a bit.
"Well that's bound to happen…the guy did kill someone on live tv. Though what do you mean by mental suggestion? Dog ears boyfriend, some undercover sleep agent?"akasha asked making miyuki raise an eyebrow.
Who exactly is this dog ears and did she say boyfriend? Now that she thinks about it she remembers a wolf faunus with his group. She was really tall if she could recall. But she remembered the girl said her name was Onxyia or something.
Maybe this akasha girl is friends with her something. Judging by how casually she talks about the girl.
"Yeah….apprently a scientist who expeiremented on him…along with me. He put some mental suggestion to follow his commands of his subjects. But for those experiments they would.."Miyuki said as she wrapped her arms around herself remembering those experiments.
They were aweful the ones that went throught hat process those two were different. But they heard screaming the entire time and they used the rest of them as test subjects. She recalled how they threw her and Eden in a room with two bobratusk. They had to try and kill it with nothing but a small dagger.
Six of them participated in the test only two of them returned. Her and Eden but they were in pain afterwards but those scineitsit didn't care. Although one took pity on them some old guy with a robotic eye.
Akasha noticed the girl shaking a the mention of this lab. She took the hint that it wasn't a good topic to discuss. She took a deep breath wrapping an arm around the girl shoulder.
"Hey you don't need to explain anymore…come on lets go play cards or something."akasha suggested
In the command tent trifa was going over a list of supplies right now. She wanted to start early too see how much they had left before they could wait for rescue. But right now she was worried about the hole that lead to the sewers. If grimm found their way down here they would be boxed in.
She sighed while looking at a tunnel system in front of her. It was off the sewers that Roman provided her. It was nice of the crook to do this for them. But she wondered if the guy was still alive after the attack on the city.
As she stared at the map someone cleared their throat to get her attention. She looked up too see Yuma standing their looking at her. Trifia looked back down at the map trying to see if they could find a way out of here.
"Trifia what are we going to do."yuma said
"About what?"she asked annoyed as she had her hands on the table.
Yuma walked over placing a hand on his friend looking at returned the look waiting for him to talk.
"What are going to do rescue, what if no one comes. What if this is were…"yuma begun but saw trifia staring at him not to finish that sentence. Yuma put his hands up as he took a chair to join her at the table. As the two sat their he looked at something circle in big red letters.
It looked to be the main entrance and it had suggestion. Some said building a gate around it, make a barricade, use ice dust or earth dust to block it off.
"Look trifia about sealing the main entrance. Are you sure we should do that now?"yuma asked
"Don't know but it may be a while till rescue comes. We need some way to contact help. The radio could be useful but their interference or something messing with it"trifia replied. The two ex white fang enforcers and assassin sat their as they tried to come up with a plan.
Meanwhile Ross and Xander were just washing down the paste a little. They used a little much but it seemed to have seal up his injury. The next was bandgeing it then starting working on his leg.
"Alright lift him up gentle alright"Ross said as Xander nodded
Xander got his arms under Zane as they lifted him up gently. He had his hands on Zane back while Ross wrapped the bandages around him. As he wrapped them something moved near his hand. Xander eyes shot open as he felt around for a bit.
Then he felt something again and he made a small noise getting ross attention.
"The hells wrong with yah kid feeling a broken rib…you get used to seeing that stuff in this profession"ross said as he continued wrapping the banagded.
"Ummm do ribs move around like their alive?"Xander , lifting an eyebrow. They in fact do not, which made the doctor curious. He was finished wrapped the banaged around and had to move Zane to to put some around it too keep it in place.
Then as they slowly moved his bodie up the two saw something strange on his back. Their on his were white vein like vines. They started to spread around the guys back like something was alive under their. They layed Zane out onto to stomach looking at the strange discovery.
"What in the hell is that?"Xander qeustioned studying the veins.
Ross looked around his back noticing a large scar on his back and neck. But it seems that the veins are spreading from their. He gently rubbed his hand against it. But as he did something moved around the scars on Zane spine.
Ross looked intrigued a little but he looked at Xander with worry.
"Kid…. it seems whatever our friend went through. Woke something up that was in a deep slumber. "Ross concluded.
"What do you mean by that?'Xander questioned.
"I don't know but for now we continue treating him. Once he wakes up we'll question him. Xander nodded slieltnly agreeing with him. But he was also curious about what exactly is on Zane back. Is he about to go all monster on them or worse.
Zane was covering his eyes as the white light died down. As it did he adjusted his eyes and looked around where he was. Soon enough he went wide eyed relizing exactly where he was. The lab from Watts expeiremnts. Zane felt his pulse rising as he started to hypverventilate a little.
"No..no..no..not here again..nope I can't be here"Zane said to himself scared remembering those he knelt down breathing erratically as he tried to forget about those days in the lab. But then a hand was on his shoulder as he looked to see Bane.
"Calm down kid before you pass out…..were here for a reason"bane said confusing Zane.
"What are you talking about….why would I come back to see these memories. I know the other doors were locked…but why here?"Zane replied nervously as he covered the back of his neck.
Bane looked around the room; it was a simple padded cell. There was no bed or window in the room. But the room was quite large in appearance with a large window high aboveAll there was a young boy in the corner quivering and cowering in the corner. He started to to cry and Zane eyes widden a little.
He looked over at the small boy knowing full well that was him. When he was in the lab and he didn''t enjoy it one bit. He couldn't even tell what day of the week is was when he was their. Along with the time he just waited there scared for the experiments to happen.
After they were done he go back to this room and sit there by himself. Sometimes the doctors would come in and draw some blood. Give him food that was terrible. All they gave him was a piece of bread with a small bowl of soup three times a day.
But sometimes a certain doctor came in giving him something else which brightened his day up.
"So what we we suppose to do here?"zane asked
"If were to figure out what these doors mean, were going to have to relive your memories"Bane replied motiong for him to watch
As the two waited to see what happens next soon the door behind them opened. Then five people entered the room. Two of which were arm guards along with two scientist who faces he couldnt see. But one stood out to him and it was Watts.
"Oh great his ugly mug"zane said as the memorie played out. He wasn't exactly thrilled or happy to see him again especially after today.
Watts walked over to the young boy smiling over him with a smug expression. He had his hands behind his back. But zane saw a remote control in his hand and he frowned at this.
"Subject omega its time for another test. Get up"watts ordered
Young zane balled up quivering not wanting to answer him. He looked at Watts shaking with tears in his face.
"No"zane queitly said to the man who narrowed his gaze.
"What did you say?"Watts asked but he seemed to know already.
Young zane looked away for bit to avoid his gaze. But Watts grabbed him by the head turning him to face him. Young zane and watts stared at each other face to face. Watts glared at the boy waiting for him answers.
As they watched Zane looked a the armed guard and relzied something. They had the same symbol as the crimson talon. That mercenary group under Watts command if he recalled. But that didn't really matter now since this was just a memorie.
Young Zane stood there silently looking at Watts. Watts soon released his hand and lifted the controller. Then young zane clawed at his neck because the man made him wear an SDC collar. It shocked him and Zane flinched a little watching it.
The younger version of him spasmed around while Watts held the button down. After about a minute watts let go of the button as young zane layed their on the ground. He shviered as watts knelt down to him again asking the same question.
"What did you say?"watts asked annoyed
Young zane picked himself staring at him"no…sir"young zane said which made watts smile. Then he motioend for the guards to grab him. The two guards grabbed young zane who didn't resist as they dragged him away.
Miyuki and Akasha were at a long table with a deck of cards in hands. Two other people joined them who Akasha siad are some of which are faunus who she didn't mind.
The first one looked to be a burly man, he seemed in his early twenties, his skin was pale, the mans eyes were lime green. The guys hair was light red and shaggy kind of. He had a small scar on his cheek, and his build was pretty muscular.
The guy who jacket that seemed to be a winter jacket. It was colroed light brown and he wore a red t-shrit underneath it. The guy wore some black running pants as he propped his feet up on the table. He wore a pair of high tops that were red and green in color. He also had a small pouch on his shoulder that was tan colored. His faunus trait were some hamaster ears it seems.
While the second was a girl who was a little shorter than all of them. She had black hair that was braided into a ponytail. Her skin was lightly tanned and her eyes were dark orange. She seemed to be maybe seventeen maybe or sixteen judging by her appearance. Along with a slender build to her.
She wore a pair of a dark blue jeans with a hole in the back for a salamander tail. That was her faunus trait it seems. But she wore a tube top that was grey undnereanth a zip up hoodie. The hoodie was dark green and it had a gecko on the back of it.
"Alright everyone you guys up for a round of twenty one?"Akasha aksed
The burly faunus grunted a little"better than sitting around worrying about dying. "He replied
"Oh come on Rob relax….feathers over here brought a friend. Be nice"the salamander faunus said
The hamster faunus known as rob rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms.
"Whatever names Rob….thats all you gonna get"he replied with annoyance.
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning,"Miyuki thought as Akasha dealt the cards.
Then the salamander faunus reached her hand over to introduce took her hand as she shook it.
"Don't know if we met i'm Jae."the girl introduced herself as Jae
"Miyuki its nice to meet you"she replied with Jae smiling a little.
"Hey lets make this interesting winner get to ask a question"akasha suggested
Rob snorted a little"really are we little kids?'he questioned.
Jae tapped Rob on the shoudler for that and he slightly rubbed it."come on it can be fun….plus it'll help with how ever long were here."jae added
"Yeah sounds like fun"Miyuki added trying to get some conversation in.
Akasha then deals the cards out to each of them. She gave them each two and placed a deck in the middle. Akasha pulled one card out placing one face up in front of her while the other was face down.
Miyuki looked at her hand and she had a seven and four. Which meant she had eleven. She didn't know what the other had but she decided to play it smart.
"Hit me"miyuki said as Akasha gave her another playing card. Miyuki looked at it and she got nine. She was a little surprised by this because she got lucky.
"Hit me"Rob said as Akasha gave him a card. He groaned looking at it and then motioned her to hit her again. Rob looked at his next card and groaned again. He then flipped over his cards to reveal he busted already.
He had a queen,eight, two and a jack. Which meant he went over as his numbers added up to twenty nine. Jae was up next as she smiled and tapped the table. Akasha hit her and the girl smiled a little. Then it was akasha turn as she hit herself since she was the dealer.
Miyuki looked at Jae who seemed happy about something. Maybe the girl got a good hand maybe she didn't. But she was close to twenty one so she decided to pass it for now.
"I'll stay"miyuki said as akasha then looked at Jae who tapped for her to give her looked at her cards and seemed worried a little but changed her expression to a calm one. The girl might have a bad hand so that means akasha might win or not.
Akasha then delt herself another card. She looked at the card with a perturbed expression. She sighed as she revealed her cards. One was a ten, another nine, one three and the last one seven.
"Alright you two show those cards"akasha said as the two did just that.
Miyuki had nine, seven and four. While Jae had a six, five, four and king. Which meant she was out and Miyuki won. The girl was a little surrpsied by it but was happy she won.
"Dam guess the new girl won…alright ask your silly little question?"rob said as he leaned in his chair.
Miyuki thought for a moment studying them for a minute. How exactly did a bunch of faunus get their hands on a place like this. It suggest that their either gangster or criminals. When she first got here they said they found the place. She wasn't buying it.
"Alright ,question are you guys….White Fang?'she asked quietly as the three stared at her. Jae looked away wrapping her arms around her. While Rob stared miyuki down glaring at her.
"And what if we are?'akasha asked
Miyuki looked at them and they all looked worried, scared and concerned it seems. These faunus who rescued them could be white fang. But why would they save a bunch of humans.
Miyuki put her hands together looking at them."well if you are why save us….today the white fang atttacked everyone. But here you all are White Fang members who saved a bunch of humans. Why?"Miyuki replied simply.
Jae sighed as she put her arms on the table and layed her head on them looking at Miyuki.
"let's just say hypothetically we are white fang. Why do think were down here?"Jae replied
"Hmm well maybe your spying for them. But you also seem scared about something or someone?"miyuki said as akasha looked to the side. Akasha crossed her arms and Miyuki noticed this.
They all haven't been here long but her and craver got curious about who their staying with. Might as well get some info why they saved them.
"look ….this better stay here if they figure us out they might start something got it"Akasha quietly said.
Miyuki nodded as the falcon faunus was ready to explain but then something loud rang out. They all turned and got up from their chairs. They heard banging and stuff being knocked over. It sounded like it was coming from the medical tent.
"Come on lets check it out"akasha said as the four went to check it out.
Back in Zanes mind he followed his younger self down an eerie hallway. Watts guards were shoving him as he stopped walking for a bit. Zane clenched his fist because hes been through it already. But it wasn't something pleasant to watch.
Soon enough they got to a big room with several people their. Guards were sationed around the place with guns trianed on the room below. While people in white lab coats seemed to be working on some computer equipment.
Most of the equipment seemed to consists of holo screen, test tubes, medical equipment, mircorscopes. And a bunch of other stuff but there was also surgically equipment as well. Young Zane looked scared as he instively clutched to someone leg. He clutched to the soldier who raised his rifle using his butt stock to hit him back.
Young Zane fell down to the ground with a bruise on his flinched a little because he remembered how abusive the guards were.
"Back up kid or i won't be so nice next time"the guard threatened motioing toward his rifle.
Young zane stood up as he followed watts to a table. Zane had a hospital gown on now and slowly made his way to the table laying on his back. But Watts flipped him over as he faced the other side of the table. Then Watts and another scientist forced him arms and legs in place.
The large metal clamps went over his limbs as young zane sat their panicking. Watts smiled as he went to a holo computer. He typed something in before something appeared behind behind him was some machine that had surgical tools attached to it.
Zane face filled with worry and concern as he remembered this day now. The day they cut open his back and did something to him.
"No..no…not this I can't watch"Zane said as he turned away.
Bane sighed at this and pulled zanes hand from his eyes. Zane tried to cover his eyes again but then he saw the process again. The machine produced a blade or sclapal maybe. Then it dug into his skin as young zane screamed in pain. Zane covered his ears not wanting to experience this again.
But he couldn't stop hearing it and soon enough the machine pulled back his skin noises could be heard and the tearing of flesh. It looked to be spread out like he was being dissected on. Then as he continued to watch he saw something be inserted into his back. He couldn't tell what it was because it was obseucred by a black smoke like haze.
But then as the thing was put into his back. Young zane face contorted into a myriad of expression. All of which were of pain and he couldn't handle it anymore. Soon enough the memory stopped as he was kicked out the room. He slowly opened his eyes to see himself back in the room with the doors.
He looked at the lab door and a figure stood their. But they were obscured by light and all he could tell is that their appearance and gender. They looked to be a slender female who seemed to wear a laboratory coat. Similar to what Atlas scientist would wear.
"Who's she?"zane asked
"Beats me its your mind"Bane replied
Then the younger version of Zane appeared again balled up infront of the women in the same white light.
She knelt down offering him something and relized it was a small box. Young zane took it and he relzied what this was. The day he came to a new lab, but one that didn't poke or prodded at him. The one in Atlas after he lost his memories.
"What's that?"young zanes voice echoed as the memorie played out.
"This is a gift….we figure to give you a gift. We may not know your birthday so lets make today your birthday"the woman replied as she gestured for him to open the box. Young zane cautiously took the box from the women.
He then slowly opened it as he pulled out what was inside. It was his skull necklace he got from his uncle. Young zane put it around his neck looking at it.
"What's this?'he asked holding up the necklace to the women.
The women knelt down next to him to get to his eye level"its something they took from you when you were at the…lab. Me and a friend saved it for you. We saved some of the other test subjects belonging incase you all were saved."she begun.
"But you were the only one we could save…though this was with you along with this in your pocket"the women finished.
Young zane pulled out the other thing in the box and he pulled out a picture. It looked half burnt around the edge of the picture. But he knew it was the one he had which had his unknown family to him. Up until now when he finally figured out who they were.
"Is this me?'young zane asked
"Yes, that you with your family. Don't worry were trying our best to find them."the women replied
"Pinky promise?'young zane asked motioing toward the women with his pinky.
She laughed as she returned the gesture"pinky promise"she said. Then the memorie faded as an unlocking sound could be heard. He looked toward the door next to the lab one open. Zane was about to walk toward it until the ground gave way again. He fell through the water again as Bane watched from above.
Akasha and Miyuki rushed toward the medical tent to see what was going on. Xander and Ross were trying to hold zane down. He was having a seizure as the heart rate monitor beeped faster and Zane thrashed around screaming on the table.
"Dammit, hold him still so I can sedate him,"Ross shouted.
Xander tried to hold him down but couldnt. As he wrapped his body around him Zane threw him off as he continued to have a seizure. Miyuki and Akasha rushed in holding him down. As they did akasha looked at Zane's face.
His eyes looked around like crazy as he cried. The mask he wore had condensation on it as his breathing was rapid. He kept breathing faster and faster like he was freaking out. Akasha got launched up a little and was surrpsied for someone who was half dead to be this strong.
"Jeez for a guy who was on death's door he seems pretty determined to break free"Akasha said
"He's having a panic attack. If I can sedate him he'll relax."Ross said as he prepared a syringe. Zane was looking around as he stared at the syringe struggling to break free.
"No, get away I can't go back"Zane muttered as Miyuki looked at him worried.
Then she put her face in front of him to meet his eyes. She might as well try something to help the guy calm down.
"Zane calm down your somewhere safe alright….hes going to help you. Calm down,"Miyuki said slowly as Zane started to relax a little. But he kept moving around but slowly he started to relax a little. Ross managed to sedate him finally and he fell back into a deep slumber.
The group sighed in relief as they managed to fianlyl clam him down. As they did Trifia walked in looking at them. She had an annoyed and anger look across her face. Akasha just playfully waved at the spider faunus.
"What the hell happened?'she questioned looking at the group.
Ross dusted himself off clearing his throat"he had a small panic attack. Its normal for sugery or medical procedures. We managed to patch him up and now all he needs to do is rest up for a while. His aura should kick in soon enough to speed the process up."ross answered
"Good, alright doc can you watch him for a bit"Trifia asked with Ross nodding. She then motioned for the others to follow her outside of the tent to talk. As they sat their she tapped her foot several times wondering what exactly they brought here today.
"You know…i'm really mad about what just happened. But i'll let it slide for now. "Trifia said calmy as she can.
"Wait really….your not mad about the guy spasing out all over the place"Akasha asked
Trifia sighed"no…its normal for that type of stuff. But I need someone to do guard duty tonight. And guess who gets to do it"trifia asked smiling.
Xander slowly raised his hand"is it us?"he asked
"Bingo you ,Akasha and Jae got guard duty tonight,"Yuma said smiling. The three groaned as they went up the stairs to the entrance for guard duty. While the other disappeared carver nd miyuki walked away from them.
Trifia sighed wondering what their going to do next. She'll need to start planning on how their going to block the entrance incase any grimm come through. If they can maybe a rescue team could come and evacuate them. She just hopes its soon because if it isn't they'll be here for a while.
Meanwhile in the medical zane slept soundly in his bed. While Ross cleaned his equipment he wondered something. He had a cracked scroll in his hands. Those two brought stuff in and xander picked it up early. He managed to access it and it was zanes. He looked at the aura guage and it barely filled up even after soo many hours. But for now he had work to do and a patient to treat.
It seems the surgery was a complete success with getting him stable. But this mysterious copy is now dubbed Bane, along with that it seems he needs to conquer these doors to escape his mind. While their was the introduction of jae and rob both my own OC. Thanks for reading.
