AN: just could not stop writing this so you get another bloody chapter and I'm off to finish the cowboy epic I am glaring at with determined intent

"Oh that lying woman." Sarah Jane hissed while she hid under the computers, "bring the dog. She just knew and threw me in here. She could have said krillitane but no bring the dog."

"Um excuse me, you are?" Rose asked as she sat down at the desk.

"Sarah Jane Smith, Ealing Echo. I'm doing a report on the school nutrition-," she said and groaned as her cell rang, "hold on."

"No, I said no more pop until I get back. You went in? Tours? Free pop? No, no you listen here Jane, I am-hang on," Sarah Jane looked at Rose and sighed, "no more free pop until I get back. Why did I need to bring the dog-oh she hung up."

"Girlfriend?"

"Yes, actually. No, I am still mad at you." Sarah said with a pout, "it's not working."

"Give it to me, ah there we go." Rose said, smirking, "logon and all."

"Used to work first time in my day."

"Well, things were a lot simpler back then." Rose retorts quickly as she continues typing.

"Rose, can I give you a bit of advice?" Sarah said as she sat at the other computer

"I've got a feeling you're about to." Rose responded as she continued to type away.

"I know how intense a relationship with the Doctor can be, and I don't want you to feel I'm intruding. I have my person and she is wonderful." Sarah said as she sat there and smiled softly at the woman.

"I don't feel threatened by you, if that's what you mean." Rose retorts as she smirks at Sarah Jane

Right. Good. Because I'm not interested in picking up where we left off." Sarah said with a wave of her hand and it landed on the desk.

"No? With the big sad eyes and the robot dog? What else were you doing last night?" Rose said, pointing the sonic at her.

"I was just saying how hard it was adjusting to life back on Earth." Sarah said, pushing the sonic to the side.

"The thing is, when you two met they'd only just got rid of rationing. No wonder all that space stuff was a bit too much for you." Rose said chuck Rosling at her jab.

"I had no problem with space stuff. I saw things you wouldn't believe." Sarah responded, needing to prove her wrong

"Try me." Rose said.

"Mummies. She fires first

"I've met ghosts." Rose fires back

"Robots. Lots of robots." Sarah fires back

"Slitheen, in Downing Street." Rose says with a grin

"Daleks! Plus, their creator!" Sarah said, not smiling as a shiver went down her spine.

"Met the Emperor." Rose smirks

"Anti-matter monsters." Sarah fires back again.

"Gas masked zombies." Rose fires back.

"Real living dinosaurs." Sarah says with a smirk.

"Real living werewolf." Rose says with a smile.

"The Loch Ness Monster!" Sarah says and slams the desk, "ow!"

"Seriously? Listen to us. It's like me and my mate Shareen. The only time we fell out was over a man, and we're arguing over the Doctor. With you, did he do that thing where he'd explain something at like, ninety miles per hour, and you'd go, what? and he'd look at you like you'd just dribbled on your shirt?" Rose said with a big grin and holding Sarah's hand.

"All the time. Does he still stroke bits of the Tardis?" Sarah Jane asked with a big smile.

"Yeah! Yeah, he does. I'm like, do you two want to be alone?" Rose said with a grin.

"Gah, I-I have a wonderful partner too. She's truly wonderful. Twenty years this December."

"I'd love to meet her once this is all done."

"She'd like that. If I can ever get her to stop drinking the fizzy drinks."
