Chapter 8 Blue:Bonding
Its been about a week now since the previous attack. With miyuki using her semblance to block off the main entrance. The grimm have been having trouble getting in now. Which did ease the tension around everyone right now.
Although everyone is still not trusting everyone it seems. Everysince last week with Tia showing everyone that white fang mask. Alot of the humans here have started to keep their distance form each other.
But some seem to relzie and come around to trusting their new friends it seems. Yuma has been trying to fix the radio with ethan but their signal keeps getting blocked by something and their trying to figure it out.
Xander was by himself at a table as he ate his lunch. Which consisted of some stew they managed to make with some potatoes and other vegetables. Though it he looked a little disgusted by it it looked unappealing.
"Ughh this sucks I wish had some of mom cooking right now. "Xander thought to himself as he stirred his spoon around in his stew.
As he sat their thinking to himself about their situation he was starting to worry a little. Right now their doing pretty good for food and water. But he's been starting doubt their will be even a rescue soon.
Sometimes they here shouting and gunshots outside due to the one ray of light they have into the place. But soon enough it dies down and get awefully queit.
Then as he took a bite of his stew it didn't taste terrible but it wasn't great. He stuck his tongue out disgusted as he felt someone take a seat across from him.
The wolfs ear twitched as he looked to see Carver along with Jae and yuma sitting down with him. Carver sat next to him while jae and yuma sat across from him.
"Oh hey…guys"Xander said as he looked at his food.
"Sup little wolf, you enjoying our five star meal"Yuma joked presenting his bowl.
Jae rolled her eyes staring at him narrowing her gaze."if this is so great wheres our waiter then?"jae added smguly.
"Hmm sorry their busy helping better looking people"Yum replied smiling. Jae then pinched the guys bat wings. Yuma flinched a little glaring at the salamander faunus.
"Jeez you two fight like your siblings"carver said as he ate this food. He raised his spoon as he took a bite of his food.
Yuma waved his hand at the human"no not really….just banter. Though anyone else starting to die of boredom."yuma said
Xander sighed because he was right, they keep running out of things to do at this point. Right now trifia has been discussing possible going out to search for parts to repair their radio or gate control. But akasha has been against it because its dangerous right now.
Their are probably still grimm all over the streets and when they finally hear people outside. They end up dead before they even found them.
"Hmm yeah though question hows the kid?"Carver questioned looking toward the wolf faunus. Him and Ross have been treating him everyday. But he still hasn't woken up which started to worry him.
If he doesnt wake up soon they'll probably run out of iv drips soon. When that happens they won;t have much to keep the guy alive. Along with that hes started to notice something. His back more importantly.
The guy started to grow white and blue like veins on his back. Which wasn;t normal and made him wonder what exactly he is.
"Umm alright still asleep….though once we run out of iv bags to give him nutrients. He'll probably…die"Xander replied not wanting to say that as his ears flopped.
Yuma sighed a little as he stared at the wolf"well if that happens guess big sis will kill yah"Yuma joked as he took a bite of his stew.
Xander face started to lose color as he thought about that. He hoped that didn't happen because when his sister gets mad. She is a whole another person and its scary.
"Lets just hope that doenst happen….though that Tia chick. Seriously what her problem…she reveals all of us being white fang. Now shes trying suck up to us"jae added
"I know…maybe its guilt or something. Though she probably scared we'd kick her out for that stunt she pulled"yuma replied
Carver took another bite of his stew slowly, he ate it then looked at the faunus. He clasped his hands together breathing.
"Look sometimes people relize they make mistakes. But the girls trying to make up for it….maybe what your doing is helping change people views. "Carver begun speaking with a stoic expression.
"Sometimes small things can lead to big things happening in our world. Who knows maybe soon enough the white fang may go back to its peaceful protest. Though it'll take the world some time to forgive you."Carver finished with a stoic expression.
Xander laughed a little at him and the old man took notice of this raising an eyebrow.
"Whats so funny kid?"he questioned.
Xander snorted a little before answering"Sorry…you remind me of uncle ghira. That guy would always go on some stoic speech about something. "Xander replied
Carver smile by the compliment as the group continued to banter with each other. They talked about some interesting things they've done in life. Along with asking about what they'll do once they get out of the city.
Back in the dark void of zane mind he sat near the center of the place. He looked at remorse in his hands unsheathed studying his blade. He looked at his reflection as he stared into it. Soon enough he kept staring as it changed with a flash.
It changed to his monsteoru form and he got startled by that dropping his katana. The sword landed with a clanking sword as the water started to ripple around it.
Then footsteps started to echo approaching him with each footstep rippling the water. Soon enough Bane grabbed the katan studying it then walked over to Zane. He presented the blade to zane who stared at him.
He reached for it hestating as he sighed looking at it. Bane took notice of this and took a seat next to two sat their for a few minutes in silence until bane spoke to him.
"So…do you have any more questions or do you want to proceed to the next door?"bane asked knwoignly to the boy.
Zane groaned as he studied his blade and grabbed his sheath. Then closed the blade and looked at Bane studying him. He wanted to know more about these doors what exactly happens when they reach the last one.
Although bane seems to be hiding something from him which worries him. If he goes through each of these doors what does that mean, what'll happen.
Zane took a deep breath as he looked at the copy of himself with a question.
"Okay, what exactly will happen once we go into that door. You said we have to fight something, why?"Zane questioned
Bane tapped his chin coming to a conclusion it seems. He stood up as he paced around zane a few times.
"You see their are these things called nightmares. Their manifestations of your fears….each one is tailored toward a specific fear you have around a memorie or someone"bane replied
Zane sighed as he held his head. That means he'll probably have to face Onxyia or velvet in some nightmare like scenario. What could it be them telling him he's a freak, a murderer, or does she hate him for what he did.
Zane stood up slowly ready to get another door over with. Maybe once hes done he can pass on or whatever. But he could also be alive as well. He didn't know because Bane was so dam cryptic it annoyed him.
Bane walked over with Zane to the next door they were going to open. Zane studied the door and he sighed a little at this.
Bane took noticed of this exmainign the door. It had a small blinding light on one side colored white. While the other had black shadow like hands gripping the side colroed all black.
"Seems whoever this is someone you don't want to see"Bane guessed
"Your not wrong their…..was someone I loved. Though if I ever see them again they'll probably hate me"Zane replied looking down.
"Why would they hate you if she loved you?"Bane questioned.
Zane looked at him wondering if this guy was messing with him or something. Along with that he knew everything about him but he seems to be missing some bit and pieces. Exactly like him who has a hard time remembering stuff.
Zane shook his head"its just…the last thing I did to her was answer a call from her. Then I tell her to tell my family I love them. Along with apolgizing for what I did to her. I praticualry was killing myself infront of my other girl"Zane begun as he stared at the door.
Bane sat theri patiently listening to the boy plee and worry it seems. He had a sad look it seems as he listened.
"I caused the fall to happen, he control me like a dam puppet. Then next thing I do is try shooting myself in front of everyone"zane continued as he clenched his fist anger at himself.
"they probably think i'm dead anyway….this does seem like proper punishment for a monster like me"zane finihsed as Bane shook his head at the last part.
"Don't sell yourself short like that kid, in my opinion it wasn't your fault. Blame the bastard known as watts"Bane said with disgust saying his name.
Zane chuckled a little at how he said his name. Maybe Bane hated the guys guts as much as him too.
"Guess you hate him too….lets get this over with"Zane said as he grabbed the door handle. He pressed the handle and walked throught the blinding light to wherever he'll go. Soon enough he emerged through the blinding light as he opened his eyes.
He looked around noticing he was in the streets of Vale. But something was off because the place looked to be ruined it seems. The sky were dark and their were floating islands above him.
But the streets were deserted along with several destroyed building in front of him. Their were no people around here at all. This begged the question on why this place is so different. But this time he had remorse on his back as he unsheatehd it.
"So this is weird….why are we in vale?"Zane asked
"Hmm maybe it has to do with you having positives memories from the girl it seems. Although we may want to explore and find what were looking for "Zane suggested with zane nodding at that.
The two walked for like twenty minutes for a while until they finally got to another part of the city. Their in front of them were some blob like creatures. They were colored black and then seemed to slink around the ground.
"Ughh is that a nightmare?"zane questioned.
"Yes, but be warned their extremely dangerous"Bane warned.
Soon enough the blobs started to float in the air. Then it started to morph into something as they shook to take familiar shapes. Both formed into a pair of beowolfs that growled at them.
"Oh great grimm"Zane said as he readied his sword.
Then he stared at Bane who got in a fighting stance as well. The guy didn't have a weapon which confused zane. How would be defend himself exactly.
"Umm you know they have very sharp claws. How are you going to kill them?"Zane asked
Bane looked at him for a moment before reaching his hand out. Then from the ground remorse appeared again and in his hands. Bane readed himself getting in the same stance as Zane.
"Their I have a weapon now"Bane replied smuggly
Soon enoguh the two beoowlf started to rush at the two at high speeds. Zane raised his sword as he ran at one of them. Bane ran toward the other holding his backwards. As zane got close to the beowulf he swung at it. It sliced its skin as black glob like material fell off it.
The nightmare beowulf swung at Zane as he dodged it. Then he went for another swing but the beowulf swung him into the side of a building. Zane landed hard with a thud against the wall as he rubbed his mean while was slashing at his opponent. He stabbed it in the gut before swiftly pulling the blade out.
Then he side stepped it going onto it back. He twirled his sword before driving it into the nightmare school. It started to ooze black slime out of his mouth and eyes. Then it fell to the gorund making a wet smacking nose. It sunk below the ground disappearing.
Zane slowly got up as glared at the nightmare. Then he rushed in at the beast who did the same. The two finally got close as it raised it claw to strike him down. But he quickly slashed at its gut making it fall over slightly. Then Zane turned around lifting his sword as he cut off its head.
The beast then oozed black liquid slime then disppeared. Zane stood their breathing for bit because that was a little tiring. It feels like his bodie is exhausted sort of. Bane walked over sheathing his sword offering a hand.
Zane took it as he pulled him up and the two looked around on where to go next.
"Alright Bane…where to next on our little road trip?"Zane asked
"Hmm well we follow that?"bane pointed toward the sky. Zane looked at him confused as he looked to where he was pointing at.
Then he relzied the guy was pointing at a bright light in the sky. That must be where their heading next it seems. Zane sighed as him and Bane made their way over to the next fight it seems.
Back in the real world Akasha was in the command tent studying the map and checklist with trifia. The two were checking their supplies with ross. He was busy trying to get into a scroll it seems.
"So how much food and water do we have left?"trifia questioned a little worried.
Akasha tapped her clippboard with a pen and flipped some pages to read them. She smiled a little which did seem to concern the spider faunus.
"Alright how bad is it"Trifia asked worried.
"Oh its not that bad actually…just most of its stuff I hate. We have like forty cans of beans, what the heck"aksha replied
Trifia looked at the falcon faunus sighing in relief a little while laughing. The girl really is worried about eating that. Well if their food is good for now that means something.
"Well get used to it or would you rather eat raw sewage?"trifia joked
Akasha sat down as she rubbed her arms"hmm maybe better than whatever Carver and Ethan managed to make. "Akasha replied shivering.
"Come now you should be happy some of us here know how to make due with certain ingredients. They gave a nutritious meal of water and potatoes today"Ross commented as he studied the scroll.
Trifia looked at him messing with the scroll and got a little curious about it. She walked over snatching it from the doctor. He looked at her annoyed because he was looking at that. Trifia smiled holding it in her hand.
"What are you looking at doc, find something interesting here?"trifia questioned.
Ross sighed as he looked at the two. He seemed a little hesitant to tell the two about something. Then he sighed as he went toward the tent entrance to make sure no one was listening. Then he walked back over.
"You see it seems thats the Zane boys scroll…though I found a few troubling things on it"Ross begun as the two looked at him then at the scroll.
"Is it something really bad that could kill us?"Akasha questioned.
Ross shook his head"no its concerning my little helper Xander. I found some thing on their he would not like to see on their"Ross replied
"What he find naked pictures of Onxyia and that rabbit or something"Trifia joked and the doctor stood silent. The two looked at each other and akasha slightly blushed.
"Please don't tell me that's what's on their"Akasha said covering her face. Ross gave a small smile shaking his head to their question. He shook it no and akasha seemed a littel relieved from may swing for girls but seriously that would be very awkward for her little brother too see something like that.
"Than what is it doc spill it"trifia demanded.
"You see I was looking at his aura along with some files on their. His aura still hasn't returned yet which is worrisome"Ross replied
Trifia looked confused as she went through the scroll to his aura guage. He pulled it up and it was at three percent which was confusing. The kid might not be getting enough nutrients but at the same time. The guy would probably be at maybe twenty or fifteen percent after two weeks.
"Alright so his aura taking alot longer to come back. Guy was practically dead bodie must be working hard to heal his injuries. Though despite that what does that have to due with xander."Trifia replied
Ross sighed as he walked over and grab the scroll. Then he shifted through if until he finally pulled up some files. Ross then played a video on low volume facing it toward them. He didn't start it yet and they looked confused.
"Umm its a video so what?'akasha said as she leaned in her chair.
Ross then pressed play on the video. It was the video Zane sent to his friends saying goodbye. The three watched the video for a bit and aksha looked a little worried as it played out. Triifa didn't seem that worried but continued to watch it until soon enough it finished.
As they sat their looking at each other what they just saw akasha was the first one to bring something up.
"So…that guy went out in the city to kill himself….god"akasha said baffled a little at this.
"Seems so which is why we should keep it from Xander. If he saw this when that boy woke up he would probably hurt him for what he did. Despite being upset about what he did to his family. The boy has regrets it seems"ross replied as he pocketed the scroll.
Trifia sighed a little because this was just another small issue they had to deal with. But she sat down as she picked up a water bottle. She took a swig of it and then set the bottle back down.
"Fine…rather not have that kid start crap saying how you hurt my sister feeling or whatever. But we need to send people to see about getting stuff to repair the gate or radio"trifia said demanding this issue to be addressed.
Akasha groaned as she put one hand on her forehead the other on the table.
"Dang it trifia I said its dangerous out their. We don't know what parts of the city has the most grimm. For all we know were in grimm central over here or something. "Akasha replied
"Look we need to see whats screwing up our radio, Ethan said the wires could be messed up or something. But it could also be something up top interfering with it."trifia replied
"Yes that is concerning but the only place I know of close by with radio equipment would be a small store close by. That is five blocks away and we don't know how bad it is."ross added
Trifia had to make a decision right now. If they were going to do something about this they needed to discuss this with everyone. Its the least she could do to gian their trust. Alot of the humans seem to have accepted the faunus here but at the same time a few are wary of them.
"Look we'll discuss this tomorrow or in a few days. Ethan said he's going to try something to see if it will work on the radio. But he said it'll take a while to test it alright. Just…try and find something to do"Trifia ordered as the two nodded leaving her by herself.
Trifia sat down in her chair mentally exhausted at this leader thing. Seriously how can someone do something like this all day everyday. At this point she rather be an assassin again or something. But for now she just had to have hope for ethan coming up with something.
Meanwhile Miyuki was walking over to the medical tent to change shifts who was every incharge of watching zane. As she walked over she looked around as everyone seemed to have worried and sad expression on their faces.
"Dammit people are starting to lose hope it seems. Ethan better get that radio working again soon or it'll be a grimm party soon here"miyuki thought to herself.
Soon enough she got to the tent and moved the flap to see who was on sleeping beauty duty. She looked to see Tia their staring at the kid. She had a narrowed gaze across her face seeming shes seen the kid somewhere before.
Miyuki cleared her throat to get the women attention. Tia jumped up a little surprised and looked at the girl
"Oh hey whats up"Tia replied quickly.
Miyuki leaned agains the entrance smiling at the women"so you admiring the guy or something. You seem very interested in him"Miyuki playfully asked
Tia laughed at her remark shaking her head"i like girl kid…remember"tia replied
Miyuki did remember but she just wanted to mess with her. For the last few days the women has been trying to apolgize to everyone for how shes acted. Especially toward the faunus it seems since she soften up a little.
Miyuki took a seat next to her ready to begin her watch as Tia kept staring at the was up and miyuki wanted to know.
"Alright whats up why do you keep staring at him?"Miyuki asked
Tia cupped her chin thinking to herself and sighed"nothing….kid kept talking in his sleep again. He mentioned some girls name again along with one that surprised me"tia replied peaking the girl curiosity.
"Really what did he say this time. Did he say he buried a million lien somewhere and he only know where"Miyuki joked.
Tia laughed a little at the joke and playfully tabbed the girl shoulder. Miyuki rubbed it as the women stared at the kid.
"Nah he said that Xander kids sister name I think along with one Nadia walker"Tia replied
"Ummm okay who the heck is that?"miyuki asked
Tia looked a little shocked at the girl and shook her head at her surrpsied.
"You don't know who nadia walker is? She was a famous faunus boxer back in the day. Though she retired after losing her arm and apparently raised a family"tia replied
Miyuki slowly got what she was saying and she understood a little.
"Oh so i'm guessing she was your idol or something"Miyuki replied
Tia nodded a little and sighed disppintement a little. She dugg through her pocket for her wallet. Then she pulled out a picture from it. Their in the picture was hers and another women. A faunus women with a pair of ram horns on her head. The two were smiling with each other in the picture.
"She was sort of when I was younger before I started training to become a boxer."Tia begun as she stared at the picture a little sad.
"Me and lily my girlfriend both had a love for boxing. We met at a tournament walker was visiting for. She was sighing autographs while a guy named colt was their with her. Though that guy pissed at me now i'm pretty sure"Tia said
"Really why's that you punch him or something?"Miyuki asked
Tia shook her head"no threatened some girls and hit one of them. Started a fight in his gym then I got kicked out. I've been kicked out from mostly every gym for starting stuff with faunus. "Tia replied
Miyuki looked a little concern because the women looked to have some regret on her face.
"So what your saying you started stuff with other faunus because she died?"Miyuki asked with Tia nodding.
"Thats not the right way to deal with grief, you shouldn't have done stuff like that. You hated faunus because she joined the white fang and she got killed"Miyuki added
"yep…I had no one else to blame. I could have stopped her from joining but she thought it was just some peaceful protest. I supported her for a bit until I saw on the news one day several white fang members dead in violent protest"Tia begun as she held her head down.
"Next thing I know I see her face on list of dead terroists. A friend of her convinced her to join and help them. He made it out but he didn't even care saying how sister lily knew the risk .So after a bit I started to hate faunus think their all just monster. Its stupid but…i started to believe all that crap they spewed about faunus now"tia finished as she began to pocket the picture.
The two sat their in silence for a minute while the beeping of the heart monitor was the only thing they could hear for now. After a bit Tia rubbed her eyes as she stood up to walk out.
Miyuki hesitated for a second before grabbing the womens arm. Tia looked at the women for a second before Miyuki breathed closing her eyes.
"Look…right now if you want to patch things up with everyone. You should apolgize and explain your actions to them maybe"Miyuki suggested with Tia stopping for a moment then nodding to the girl.
The boxer left the room leaving the cold girl to herself. Then she prepared herself for the next couple hours of boredom ahead of her.
Back in Zanes mind he was walking through the streets of vale after him and bane dealt with more nightmares. Zane sliced through one killing it while Bane was already finished dealing with his already.
The two continued to make their way toward the light in the sky and as they did Bane seemed to be thinking about something. Zane picked up on this and looked at the copy of himself sighing.
"Alright what are you thinking about"Zane asked already knowing he going to get a cryptic question.
"Hmm its just that i'm wondering about why you did that too this girl. If you loved her you would have gone with her"Bane replied
Zane sighed as he rubbed his eyes as they continued to walk toward the light. They passed by destroyed cars that were flipped over and he didn't wanna discuss this with him really. But he'll probably just keep questioning him about it or something.
"Alright look….if you know how that day went. You'd understand that I go all monster if I lose control right"Zane replied
"Yes, I am apart of you in a way. But i'm asking you why did you even do it"Bane asked knowingly.
Zane sighed because this guy was starting to get on his nerves now.
"Look its just…I was worried that I would hurt those two along with other people I care about. "Zane simply replied
Bane walked past him as zane slowed down a little thinking to himself. Bane moved his hand along a destory path of cars looking at them.
"Its understandable you were scared of hurting them and others. But…their are better ways to deal with it. Not just rushing into a destroyed city to get yourself killed"Bane replied
Zane glared at the copy of himself knowing full well he was right .But is this guy seriously playing therapist with him which was annoying him a little.
"Seriosuly your playing therapist with me…you would probably know how I feel guilty about what I did."Zane retorted
"I know you've said it before you killed someone. But you hurt someone very dear to you it seems. And you seem to regret that as well…am I not wrong"Bane replied
Zane shoulder sagged a little as he walked past his mirror image of himself annoyed that he was right. He hated himself for what he did to onxyia but at the same time he seemed fine with it. At least the girl was safe from him before watts could force him to kill again.
Soon enough the two reached the shining light in the sky and looked to see what it was. Their in the middle was two figure who seemed familiar. It was all distorted and soon turned to them. It looked to be a women judging by their appearance.
Then as it walked toward then it became clearer and their stood a version of Onxyia who had a scowl across her face, along with velvet scowling as well.
Zane flinched a little by the scowl because it looks like their glaring at him with hate. He slowly made his way over to her wondering what will happen the girl raised her rifle firing at him, while she summoned a copy of his katana.
He dodged one bullet and ran to one of the destoreyd cars as bullets ping and whizzed past the car he was behind. As the velvet nightmare dashed forward dragging the katana across the ground.
"Guess were dealing with another nightmare"bane said next to him.
Zane ducked his head as another bullet went by and he looked back at her. Does that mean he has to kill this nightmare version of her because he didn't really want to.
"Are you serious….why them…come on"Zane said outloud burying his face into his knees.
"Look that isn't them, its a fake. Do you really think they try to kill you?"bane asked
"Eh maybe….but I just hope shes alright"zane replied
Soon the fake onxyia stopped shooting as she produced her glaive and started to make her way toward the two. As she did she growled at the two with disgusts it seems, as the fake velvet hoped onto a car.
"I can't believe I ever fell for a monster like you"the fake oxnyia said
"Seriously she right who would ever fall for a monster like you"the fake velvet added
Zane eyes widden a little hurt by those words as he looked down. Bane sighed looking at him and produced his katana. Then he started to sneak around a little to intercept the girl. But the fakes ears twitched as she lifted her left hand. Then shadows grabbed Bane from the side pulling him from his cover.
He got dragged around while the fake onxyia kept moving toward him. Then she met face to face with zane. The two stared at each other as she scoffed at him. The wolf faunus then swiftly kicked him as he landed with a thud. He got launched a bit back and he looked at her.
She glared at him as she scraped her weapon on the ground and was ready to slash at him.
"Your a murdered and murderers deserve to be put down"the fake onxyia declared ready to swing at Zane. But he sighed as he was ready to accept his fate. But Bane soon slashed the shadow hands and called out to him.
"You idiot do you think she would say all those things to you!"he shouted as Zane looked at him.
"But…shes right..i'm"zane tried to say but bane stopped him.
"No that is not her its a nightmare. She would never say anything like that too you would she"Bane replied with zane knowing the answer to it.
Zane looked down as he clenched his fist and grabebd his katana. He blocked the fakes swing and stared at her. Then he pushed her back galring a little but soften his gaze a bit. It was still her and he didn't want to kill her even if its just in his mind.
"Look….this is a little hard for me to do you know"Zane said
"I know kid, thats why i'm here to help you face this nightmare. You may think she hates you for being part grimm. But deep down you know you still care for her and you hope she still loves you"Bane replied as zane looked down.
He took a deep breath as he raised his sword ready to fight. Then the fake onxyia rushed forward swinging and slashing at the two. Zane dodged the slash and blocked her strikes at him. Then he side stepped her as he kicked her knee. The fake fell down to one knee and bane rushed int swinging.
But she moved her glaive and blocked his attack. Then she kicked him into zane and the two collided. Bane quickly got off of zane as the two then readied them selves again. Then Onxyia glaive igntied in a fire and icy hue on both ends. Then she rushed forward as she swung at the two. A trial fo fire and ice followed with each swing.
Zane dodged it and flicked his wrist as he slashed her hand knocking her weapon out of her hands. The weapon was knocked back a bit and the fake stared at him glaring at him. He returned it with a softer gaze. The two stared for a bit before Zane sighed. Then he lifted his blade ready to swing at her but he felt a presnance.
He looked over at Bane staring at him waiting for something and he was a little confused by this. Then he looked at the fake studying her for a bit. Before something popped in his mind as he sheatehd his sword looking at the fake.

The fake stood their for a bit before it started to disppear into a smoke. The fake velvet slashed at him but he quickly dodged it before they got locked into a power struggle at that moment.
"Vel..i'm…i'm sorry for what i did to you. I know I may be a murderer and mosnter. But what I did to you hurt you and I know deep down it did hurt you deeply. I'm sorry bun"he said to the sake as she stood their for a bit before turning into smoke as it did he was surprised at this as the bright light they headed to shown brighter. Soon enough it started to travel down the street and cvoered the two of them. Zane raised his hands to block it and he covered his eyes expecting the worst.
After a bit of time he reopened his eyes to see him back in the room of doors. Their infront of the one with onxyia was that night on the roof. He smiled a little at that one because he finally got the courage to ask the girl out. With the rabbit in a loving embrace during that night on the rooftop
"Seems like we've conquered another door only two left kid"bane said smiling.
Zane looked at him a little annoyed it seems. Then he crossed his arms as he smacked bane in the back of the head.
"Ow what was that for?"bane questioned rubbing his head.
"Thats for all the cryptic messages you keep giving me. Seriously would it kill you to be straight with your answers"Zane replied
Bane laughed a little"I could but then it wouldn't be fun…also seems the memorie here is something you cherished. "Bane replied
"Yeah…that was the night I asked her out for the dance. I was so happy she said yes and then we started to date. She kept talking herself down alot about being in the white fang and having dual traits."zane replied
"But i'm assuming you found those traits of her to be quite interesting didn't you"bane added
"Maybe…her tail was pretty cute."zane replied smuggly.
Then infront of her door another small bright light appeared and they seemed to be a pair of pistols. Zane already knew it another one of his weapons. But he knew which ones they were and he walked over to retrieve them. As he grabbed the pair of light they shown bright.
In his hands were his dual revolver malice and holsters appeared on his side. He smiled before holstering them and looked at bane carrying the same pair.
"Seems I got my pea shooters back which mean the next door should be opening–"zane said as a click could be heard from the next door. He knew that it would by the sister. But he also knew what was next as he prepared himself.
The floor collapsed beneath him as he fell into the watery void again. This time he relaxed him and let it happen. But he wondered what would happen once he got through all these doors. That would be until next time he was their in this mindscape.
Seems that zane conquered another door in this void like space and keeps mavigating his way through it. But we got a bit of backstory on this faunus hating boxer who used to have a faunus she loved. Tragically she lost her to the white fang which explains her deep rooted hatred. Till next chapter
