Chapter 3 Teal:Visitng Old Friends

After hearing the final message from her clown of a leader eria was upset right now. Why wouldn't she be right now. Pyrrha was gone because she was too slow to save her and lost her leg in the process. Zane died trying to go back into the city for her making sure she got out. And now hes dead and their nothing she can do about now.

Eria sat on the couch laying down as calida sat behind her rubbing her back as eria still was upset. Its been about twenty minutes right now as perun was still their. Though apperently mercury and emerald went upstairs to check on rogue and jaune it seems.

Though close by at a table right now was jaki but he placed something on the table infront of him. A long case that was teal in color along with the initials E.H on it which might be for eria. Though the weapon smith sat their not wanting to press his daughter about it right now.

Eria whimpered a little as she just hugged herself"you stupid clown…you should have just left the city"eria said softly to herself.

"Look sweetheart it was his choice going back for you don't beat yourself up over it"calida reassured motherly.

"Yes he wanted to make sure all his teammates got out. "Jaki begun as he walked over comforting her as well kneeling close as she turned away from him.

Perun sniffed a little rubbing his eyes"yeah…tanner..made sure your sister got out. Though…I still miss him sometimes"perun said sadly.

"But…he didn't need to die…none of them did"eria replied sadly as she let more tears escape.

Calida noticed this as she gently pulled eria up into an embrace she pulled her in. then she placed an arm around her head rubbing it as she gently shushed her. Eria just layed her head against her mothers shoulder sniffing right now trying to fight the tears.

"I know sweetie….look when I saw him kill that girl on tv. I though he would hurt you two"calida said as eria slightly went wide eyed but understood why she was scared of him it seems. Who wouldn't be because he was plastered as a monster now.

"Though…how you both reacted to his death tells me you all cared for each other. I know its going to be hard but were here for you"calida assured

"Don't worry icicle i'm here too"perun added on

Jaki smiled at the boy nodding to him thanking him it seems as perun returned it. Eria and her mother sat their for a good ten minutes until she let her go. Eria eyes were still red it sems as she rubbed them.

After a bit eria took a quivered breath"could I…please visit their graves"eri asked as calida nodded. She walked over pulling the wheelchair close to her. Perun walked over as he gently picked her up then placed her in it. Then the two made their way out while calida followed to make sure she was okay. While jaki stayed behind glancing at the case on the table.

He walked over to the case as he layed his hand on top of it. The cold weaponsmit took a deep breath and exhaled for a bit. Then he placed his hands on the latches on it. Soon enough he flipped the latches open to reveal its contents.

Their inside the case was a prosethetic leg that seemed to go half wayup up the the thigh. Along with that it seemed to be teal colored mixed with white colors in for the metal. Along with that most metal used are silver grey in tone but for his daughter he planned making something for her. Along with that their were light blue lines arouned the joints for the prosthetic leg. But on the side of the calve had letters on it.

The letters read"My Little Snow Dancer"it read in black lettering on it.

Jaki sniffed a little as he closed the case wondering if it was right to give her something like this right now. But he just wanted his little girl to know he made this for her just incase it every came up.

Eria left the house with her mother and perun as they were walking on the sidewalk. They had one destination in mind that being the cemetery where her sister figure layed along with a certain loudmouth. Right now eria was filled with so many different emotion right now and couldn't think straight. It like her heart was torn to pieces right now seeing pyrrha die.

That image was still freash along with the feeling of her leg getting cut off by rosemary. All she saw was pyrrha dead lifelss face along with learning of zanes death. That hurt as well because they killed him and mocked them by showing his corpse. Now he tell her she the team leader now, she needs to think. But wants to visit her friends graves.

As they continued to walk toward the cemetery eria thought about the time her and pyrrha went searching for rogue and some of the other. She vivdly recalled not seeing her in her bed, then grabbing pyrrha out of her house to find her.

Flashback

Eria was walking down the street sped walking with a perturbed look on her face. While pyrrha was close behind her as the two were speed walking looking for someone. She had a goal in mind and that would be brining her dumb twin sister back home.

"I can't believe that she snuck out again!"eria shouted annoyed throwing her hands up. Pyrrha giggled a little at this as she cuaght up to eria.

"Come on you have to expect that. Though I hope shes okay"pyrrha replied

"Yes well when I find her, she going to be a frozen rogue popsicle"eria stated as pyrrha sighed in relief it seems along with a smile.

"I sometimes envy you two and your relationship. I wonder how it would be if I ever had a sister or brother"pyrrha said

Eria sighed as she glanced at pyrrha while they continue to walk"well to us your praticually like a sister already. Though more like a big sister despite being so tall"Eria coldly said

Pyrrha mouth seemed to form big smile"we kinda are aren't we…though it sometimes hard to tell you two apart"pyrrha replied making eria roll her eyes.

"Hmm well find the girl who keeps blowing stuff up. Come on now big sis lets find rogue"eria said as they continued to search for that troublemaker sister of hers.

End flashback

Eria soon relized they were passing a familiar diner as eria soften her gaze at it. If tanner is gone his parents must be dealing with the grief right now. Thoguh she kinda wanted to stop in and check on how they were with that seeing if perun other two bandmates are in town and check up on those two. Though eria looked into the dinner seeing it was a little busy. But a giant glass window was their that showed gasper hard at work with some of his employees.

As they walked by soon enough from the front entrance of the diner the door opened. Eria glanced over seeing it was deborah, tanner mother. The women looked shocked to see eria because she was passed out for four days. Though eria glanced up at her mother who glared a litle at extaclty happened while she was passed out and bed ridden.

Deborah walked over with a forced smile on her face it seems as she glanced at calida.

"Eria sweetie oh your awake finally how are you doing?"deborah asked as her tone sounded irriated

"Umm i've been fine…how are you ?"eria replied

"Better. though you heard what happened to tanner then"deborah said as eria nodded

"Yes, i'm sorry for your lose…I wish he was still here"eria said though something perked her ears up when deborah replied to answer her

"Well maybe if that thing on your team didn't start the Fall my boy would be here still"Deborah replied with malice in her tone.

"Deb for the last time some scorpion faunus killed T"perun replied as deborah glared at him for saying that.

"He might have done it but that thing was with them"she spat back with anger in her tone

Deborah looked toward calida"your kids should be ashamed of themselves for associating themselves with that thing"she added glaring at calida who returned it.

Calida narrowed her gaze as she handed the wheelchair handles to perun who took them. While eria watched wondering what happened while she was in the hospital. Because it seems like the mckay family hates them now.

Calida got into deborahs face as the two mothers glared at each other, while calida hands glowed red hot right now. The women was mad for that

"Deborah I understand you blame him. But my daughter just woke up and saw something very troubling. Along with that don't say they should be ashamed for being associated with him."calida said softly then she titled her head.

"So quit being a bitch"she added as calmly as possible with an eerie grin with it.

Deborah rolled her eyes bumping into calida"what both of them supporting that murderer"she said as she walked back inside as the dinging of a bell could be heard. The women seemed disgusted by eria family now.

Eria just shook her head for a bit hearing those words from the mckay mother. She used to be so kind to them when they spent time with tanner. Now she seems to just hate them with a passion it seems. Eria couldn't help but let a couple small sobs come out. Perun noticed this as he walked around as he knelt infront of her.

"Hey its okay…don't worrie about it deb and gasper are just..mad about tanner death. "Perun started as he grabbed one of her hands.

"I'm sure they'll be back to treating your family like they used to"he added as the two exchanged glances. Eria sighed heavily as calida just held her head rubbing her eyes but not before deactivating her semblance. The hayley mother understood their hate toward their family but after seeing that video she felt sympathy for her daughters right now.

Though close by from where the diner was the doors swung open as three pair of footsteps rushed out. Eria heard them rush over but she still hung her head down low. Though soon enough their shadows loomed over her. She looked up and saw that it was neptune standing their with concern look and a small smile on his face. Along with that two familiar people that were very good friends of perun.

The first was a girl about her age who had pale skin and her hair was light pink with white strips in the hair. Though one side of her hair was shaved as the other was long enough to reach the middle of her back. She had light pink eyeshadow on her eyes and her eyes were dark brown. While she had a slender build to her she had a nose piercing.

She wore a pair of black pants with a chain sticking out of her right pocket. Along with that that she wore a pair of light pink running shoes. Though she wore a light pink denim jacket with the hood being white. Underneath the jacket she wore a white crop top on with an orchid on it colored pink.

The second was a boy who seemed to be seventeen. He had dark blue hair and was fair skinned. His hair was cut short and messy. His eyes were violet along with his ears having studded piercing on each ear. He had a small scar on the right side of his neck.

He wore pair of cream colored jeans with a pair of deep slate blue combta boots. But he wore a long sleeve shirt that was colored grey under a punk denim vest that was dark blue in color. It had no sleeves on it though he had a button on his right breast pocket. It was an anarchy symbol coloed deep slate blue.

Neptune walked over hugging eria happy it seems"your awake thank remnant"he said

But as he hug her their were still tears in her eyes as her lips quivered before reutnring it as she buired her head into his shoulder. Neptune went wide eyed by this looking at perun wondering waht happened..

"What happened man?"the dark blue haired boy asked

"Yeah she seems…upset"the girl asked

Perun sighed standing up rubbing his eyes"were visiting pyrrha and tanners graves and neps"perun said getting neptunes attention as he looked at him.

"She saw the video he left"perun said as neptune expression soften. He just hugged eria as he let her get it out of her system. They stood their for a bit until evnetually deciding to continue

About ten minutes have passed until they reached the cemetery. The six where walking throught he cemetery while one was wheeled through it. Eria was upset by those words from deborah a little she understand some people might be scared of him. But after hearing that message it hurt, she can't be a leader right now. She doesn't even have her right leg along with that onxyia might be dead.

"So um..this is a dumb question…but you holding up alright?"the pink haired girl asked but she knew the answer

"Honestly….i'm really shaken up about all their deaths right now. I'm trying to process everything but…its hurt right now Orchie"eria replied to the girl known as orchie guitarist for days of mania.

"I'd be shaken too hearing you losing two best friends and uh that guy.''the deep blue haired boy said as eria glared a little at him.

"Pyrrha was more than a best friend Slater…she was like a sister to me and rogue. She didn't care that we were related to a faunus and she cared for us like we were family. Tanner…he was like a best friend…despite being a dumbass he always looked out for everyone"eria replied as her lips quivered a little.

"And what…am I gonna hear you call…my leader a murderer…or a monster. He leaves me a message…telling me I'm our team's leader now…and…he goes back into that dam city to save me. "Eria said as she hung her head down, hugging herself.

Neptune chuckled a little at this"pyrrha and tanner were great people. Always the good one to die first"he started

"Always the good ones huh"eria said as she stared down at the path while they went through the cemetery.

"Yeah though you wouldn''t be here neps if it weren't for princess ice queens leader"orchie stated as eria went a little wide eyed by that.

"What are…what are you talking about?"Eria asked as they continued through the cemetery toward a certain group of gravestones.

Neptune looked at her"look he was scary I admit…but hell he saved me and some others teams in that city. A griffin grabbed me carrying me off to be feed to its chicks or something. Then out of nowhere he appears saving my ass and some others"neptune repleid

"Yeah though when neps said that I was like no way"slater added

"Hmm well yeah took us couple days to believe the two"orchie added

"Though still he did tell me something while we ran to the airdocks"neptune said peaking eria interest immediately.

Eria looked at him with worrie in her eyes"what…what did he say?"eria asked wondering what he said

Neptune sighed rubbing his forehead"told me, several other people to run to the airdocks. He said he'll hold them off and asked if we saw you"neptune replied

Eria just sighed heavily at this"I wasn't in the city…I was trying to save pyrrha"eria replied as she gripped the empty pant leg tight. She could feel nothing their because of her missing limb.

The guy known as slater rubbed his neck"well look why don't you pay your respects real quick to them. Then maybe we can all catch up sometime"slater replied

Eria hestiated it seems as she gently nodded"I might as well"Eria said"it's the lest I could do…for them"eria added

They past some gravestones that cuaght erias eyes one being a family member. It read dravan hayley. Friend, brother, uncle, bravely fought protecting his family. Then she continued down the path as she passed by another one. Peleus , father, husband who died with honor.

Eria didn't like visitng a love ones graves at all but when her uncle died she was upset at first. Though she's learn to move on from their deaths right now. But soon enough she got close to two gravestones close to each other.

The first one being Tanner Mckay, friend, troublemaker, musician, died with honor and a smile on on his face. She couldn't help but let another tear escape because she still can't believe hes gone as well. She swallowed a little before glancing to one that was very close by next to peleus.

The gravestone had a fresh bouquet of rose on it, she kinda guessed maybe thetis did it or jaune. Pyrrha Nikos, Friend, daughter, huntresses, died with honor and did what a huntresses would do.

Right now eria couldn't help but just shiver right now as she just hugged herself. She wrapped her arms around her bodie tight not letting go as her cheeks where stained in tears. Her eyes felt all puffy from all the crying today.

Calida looked at her daughter as she walked over placing a hand on eria shoulder. Eria looked up with tears on her face as calida closed her eyes.

"Lets head back home"calida said. Eria nodded as they began to head back to the hayley residents. Neptune decided to join with while slater and orchie had to go do something else. Though Eria just felt like she was the cause of her leader and sister figures deaths.

Though back at the nikos residents speicifcally in a small guest room. The guest room had a medium size queen sized bed to fit two people. But right now Weiss was staying in their by herself since her and winter got their own rooms.

Right now weiss was deep in thought about what she was planning to do for the next two weeks. She been thinking about alot lately that being what happened during the fall. When she saw eria in trouble she indictivly summoned one of her glyphs. Though it was strange because she saw a giant knights arm.

Weiss sat at the end of her bed tapping her chin"maybe I finally achieved the ability to summon now. "Weiss thought as she had mysternat in her hands. She wanted to pratice right now but didn't wanna desotry thetis house.

The shcnee heirness sighed heavily because miss niko has been kind letting the two stay here for the past couple days. But she feel guilty staying here because he daughter died. She could have maybe helped ruby go up and save pyrrha. But eria needed help though she lost her leg because of her.

They told her to stop blaming herself but how can she, if she turned around in time to help her. She might still have her leg right now. But as she sat their another though crossed her mind. Her brothers wondering if those two are okay right now.

"Whitley, wren I hope you two are okay"weiss said to herself as she got up walking toward a mirror on a deressor. She took off her jacket looking at the scars on her back from her fathers punsihment. Their were probably five deep scars but she didn't take the worst of it.

She recalled the days that her father and mother divorced, then after about a year into that it was terrible.

Six years ago atlas Jacque Schnee part of the house

In the middle of atlas sat upon a rocky hill was the infamous schnee manor. Which was the home of the SDC company family. It was one of the tallest building in all of the kingdom of Atlas raviling even the great academy in their kingdom.

Though inside the house of the was a younger weiss who was walking around the manor with her two brothers. He younger brother by six years and her other brother who was four years old. The three schnee siblings were walking the large manor looking for something to do.

"Weiss are you sure its okay to be in father study?"whiteley asked concerned.

"Is daddy gonna come play with us?"the four year old asked who was the two younger baby brother wren.

"I don't know but…I wanna see if he has winter number"weiss replied

Whitely figeted for a second"I know…you miss winter I do too. But he might…get mad"whitley said scared as wren held his hand.

"Don't worry i'm sure he's still at his meeting"weiss reassured as they walked down the long hallways of the schnee manor. It was adoroned painting that exlsuicly used white, gray, and pale blue colors. Running along the hallway was a long blue rug with floral designs. Along with that the wall of every room and hallway it seems were black sconces with tale teardrop beads hanign from them topped witha white candle.

Their were also several chandeliers that were metal rings with an upside down sei transparent dome on the bottom, with tear drop beads hanging from it, and candles around the edge of the ring surrounding a white cylinder in the center. When lit, the candles on the sconces and chadeleirs emitted a a white blue flame.

As the three sibling made their way through the hallway they passed by a large family portraits on the wall. It had weiss who was sitting on her fathers lap with a sadden expression. While winter was close to their mother with the same expression. Another was whitely as he shared the same expression.

Their mother was in the picture holding their young brother wren in their mothers arms with a small smile. While their father jacque had a neutral expression on his face as his hair had yet to gray over.

Soon enough they got to a door that was like all the other ones in their home. weiss checked the door handle to see if it was unlocked and it was. The schnee sibling them walked into their fathers study as whitley set wren down in a chair close by.

"Okay now where is it?"weiss said as she began to look in some of draws.

"I don't know…maybe he left it in a safe"whitley suggested

"Maybe but what do you think winters doing"weiss replied

"Probably helping deal with the monsters in our world"whiley replied as he looked at some of book on the shelves.

"Yeah kinda like granpa"weiss replied with a small smile on her face.

"Sort of though…I don't think he left it in here"whitley stated as weiss was busy trying to open a draw. Though the draw was locked it seemed as she kept trying to pull it open. While this happened wren looked at a small vase with a snowflake design to it.

"Oh"wren said as he reached over toward the vase. As he did a pair of footsteps could be heard approaching the study.

Weiss and whitley looked at each other scared as they scrambled to hide. But whitley looked over at wren messing with the vase on the small table.

"Wren no stop–"whitley quietly said but wren smacked the vase. The vase went flying down to the ground as it shattered to pieces when it landed on the ground.

Immediately a pair of footsteps were walking toward the study door. Then immediately the door was thrown open to reveal the owner of the study jacque with him was klein the butler of the home.

"What are you three doing in here?"jacque asked intimidating the three kids.

"Um..uh…we..we..were…looking for…uh"whitley tried to answer but he kept fumbling and stuttering with his words.

Wren was smiling a little at his father as he reached for him to pick him up. Though jacque looked down at the smashed vase then back at wren glaring at him which him back up a little.

"You idiot I said not to come into my study. And you all break a vase that is priceless. "Jacque said intimatdiant them more.

"Klein take them away. I'll deal with them later"he ordered

"Uh yes sir"klein said as he carefully picked up wren then guided the other two out of the study.

After sometime has passed since they were in the study room the three siblings were infront of their father. With two guards their employed under their family. While in jacque hands was a particualir weapon in his hands. A leather whip that looks like it could do some rela damage.

"Now which one of you thought it be a good idea to go into my study?"he demanded to know looking at the three.

Weiss took a small breath as she swallowed"uh…me..i'm sorry I just want to-"weiss started but he imemdialty stoped her.

"Hmm then five lashes should teach you to not go into my study. Along with that you two will receive the same punishment"jacque ordered

Klein was close by going wide eyed at this because wren was only four year olds. Though he can't really argue with him or more harm may come from this.

Weiss went wide eyed looking at her very young brother holding onto her leg scared right now. She looked at him worried as she was about to say something but whitley spoke up.

"Father…i'll take wren punishment for him"whitley declared as weiss looked at him surprised. He exchanged a glance with a small frown on his face.

"Hmph if so then you shall receive ten lashes and weiss will receive five"jacque ordered as the guard walked forward. They grabbed weiss by the arm pulling her away from wren. The younger schnee boy looked scared as whitley was also grabbed by the guards.

They held the two in place as they waited for their next set of orders from their boss.

"Raise both their shirt to their necks"he ordered as the guards raised the back of each of their shrit keeping the front covered.

"Now you do this quickly I have lunch this afternoon"jacque ordered as he handed the whip to a guard. Before anything weiss could feel the first of what seemed liek many whips. She could also hear the same happening to her younger brother.

After her five lashes she was let go but her voice was horse a little from screaming for not having an aura yet. The lashes drew blood from each hit she took. While for whitley he tried to hold his screams in for a bit but after the third lash he couldn't.

Soon enough they were done as the guards took the three to a small room. That being weiss room as her brothers room had doors connected to their rooms. They tossed weiss and whitley onto the bed as wren was pushed into the room. He quickly rushed over to the bed crawling up onto it.

He immediately hugged his older sister as she returned it and whitley joined them. The two older sibling cried their eyes out while the younger had a sadden look on his face.

Present

Weiss was still shivering a little from that experience because it was very fresh in her mind. But she felt terrible right now for making her freighting to deal with. After that she try to fit the ideal daughter he father wanted. Along with her younger brothers doing the same.

Soon enough a knocked could be heard at her door as she glanced over at it.

"Who is it?"Weiss qeustioned

"Its me your sister. Could you come down please"winter said through the door.

"Okay coming"weiss said as she threw her jacket back on. Then she walked out the door to the downstairs living room. As she did all the living room in question was simpel in design. Because it had a maroon couch and a small chair in the corner of it. Along with the kitchen being close by in an adjacent room. Several pictures decorated the wall of the nikos family

Weiss passed by a picture frame of pyrrha with her mother and father. She soften her gaze because this women lost both her family members. The schnee girl sighed heavily as she walked into the living room taking a seat.

"What do you wanna talk about?"Weiss asked as she looked at her sister along with miss nikos.

Thetis was still upset about her daughter death as she was rubbing her eyes with tissue paper right now from all the tears she wept.

Winter had her arms behind her back"Weiss…i've discuss something with thetis incase mother does not show up"winter started as weiss tensed up a little in her spot gripping the arm rest on the couch tight.

"Umm what are you talking about?"she nervously asked hoping it wasn't her scars.

Thetis sniffed rubbing her eyes"winter…told me something troubling. Something a parent should never do their child"thetis said as tears were still in her eyes from her own child.

Weiss immediately froze as she wrapped her arms around herself"i…I don't know what your talking about"weiss replied nervously as she visible shook.

The older schnee sister gently took a spot next to weiss as she pulled her into a gently embrace cradling her head. Weiss just sat their leaning against her sister head.

"Weiss…if father comes…and if hes does…i've told thetis to not let him take you"winter replied as weiss began to shake a little.

"But…you said mom and our brothers were coming?"Weiss nervously asked

"They are…but if they don't go with him…I…i'm a terrible older sister. I should have been their for you three. If i knew he was subjecting to that type of punishment. "Winter said as she swallowed

"I'd lock him up with the worse criminals in all of remannt"winter added as she stared at weiss who was just returning the embrace scared. The ice queen was scared if he did come back to get her she was worried what has happened to their brothers.

Weiss choked a small sob back"please…please check on them when you get back…whitley…probably took the broad of his punsihemnts for wren"weiss begged as winter nodded affirmign she will.

Thetis rubbed her eyes"you know Peleus and pyrrha did argue at time when she was younger. But….we'd never hurt her in anything involving physical abuse..if you count washing her mouth out with soap"thetis said simply smiling.

Weiss chuckled a little at that"is that why pyrrha rarely cursed around everyone at beacon?"Weiss asked

Thetis chuckled a little at her daughter cursing"maybe…but…she told me alot about all you at beacon. I was very excited to hear she finally found someone. Her and jaune seem to get along with each other"thetis stated smiling.

"Did..she say anything about me?"Weiss asked simply wondering what pyrrha said about her she doesn't care if it was hurtful or not.

Thetis nodded"she told me you seem to worry about your brothers alot. Along with at first being really snobby. Though she said it was fun being friends with the ice queen of beacon"thetis said as weiss had a small smile on her face. The three sat their as winter was getting prepared to leave for tonight.

Back at the hayley residents eria was getting wheeled to her house by perun. Neptune was close by staring down at the sadden eria who still trying to compose herself. He's never seen her act soo emotionally before it was actually quite worrying. Usually she never showed emotions but it seemed the fall brought something out in everyone.

Calida was was close by to her daughter with a worried look across her face. Because she hoped that if jaki does have that thing out she hopes it won't affect their daughter.

"Hey um..eria?"neptune asked as she looked up at him.

Eria sniffed rubbing a tear off her cheek"yes…what is it?"she replied

Neptune sighed"you doing alright because…"neptune said as they stopped placing a hand on eria shoulder as she looked at him.

"Their are people here for you. I know their deaths hurt right now but keep on living for them. I'm heading to haven to meet sun in a couple weeks. "Neptune started as he glanced at perun who nodded

"Yeah plus i'm sure I can one up your ex by treating you better"perun bantered a little as neptune smirked

"Come on she could have fallen for a the vasillia charm"neptune said as he placed his hand on his chin stood their for a second before eria chuckled a little at that.

"Really…because you sure are ugly your ranked lower than cardin"eria replied as they laughed a little at this.

"Oh then who am I above?"he asked softly.

"My dumb leader…still can't believe he made me leader"eria softly said

Calida took a deep breath"look wherever your friend is right now i'm sure she alright. Lets go check on your sister and the other"calida said as the four then walked into the house. They helped eria inside of the house and once they did. The group saw jaki sitting at the dinning room table. Along with rogue, mercury and emerald their as well.

"Wait jaune was here man should have come by earlier"neptune stated as rogue looked surprised seeing him here.

"Yeah…well i'm going a project for him."rouge answered looking down as eria looked worried at her sister. She's probably hurt right now that their friends are gone especially pyrrha she deeply misses her too.

Eria got wheeled over to a spot on the dinning table as she looked at her father who had a somber look on his face.

"Did..something happen while we were gone?"eria asked

"Uh no nothing at all. Just well your dad gotta tell you something"mercury replied

"Tell her what?"neptune asked as he took a seat next to perun who was close to eria.

Eria looked at her father as he had a worried but small smile on his face. He was hodling something underneath the table as she saw something poking out from his lap. She wondered if it was what she expected it to be a prosethetic leg.

"Snow dancer…this is a tough thing to tell you and ask you"jaki begun as he placed the case on the table. As it clanked a little onto the table as eria frowned a little at this. Perun layed a hand on her as she gripped it tight.

"While you were asleep I took your measurements just incase. I know…i know you'll hate me for it. But i just want you see it…if you want to use it you have the choice to use it"jaki said

Calida looked worried"frosty maybe we should just hold off on it. Our little girl…today hasn't been the greatest"calida suggested

Jaki closed his eyes nodding but he was actually stopped by eria surprisingly.

"No..i'll…i'll take a look at it…but…but"eria tried to find the words as she gripped perun hand tighter as she took a deep breath to relax herself and compose herself.

"But… right now I don't deserve it"eria added as they all looked at her wondering what she meant by that. That she didn't deserve the leg her father spent all his time to make just for her. Though she felt like she didn't deserve something that was experitlly crafted.

"Yeah…look it does take time for you to get used to your leg but.."emerald begun as she didn't wanna finish the sentence.

"I just…I don't think I deserve right now. I…failed to save pyrrha…zane died looking for me in that dam city. I just need time right now"eria said as she hung her head down.

Perun squeezed her hand as she looked at her father waiting for it. Jaki nodded as he began to open the case slowly pulling the latches up.. The claking of metal could be heard as he opened to reveal the contents of the case.

Eria noticed this as she read the letter to herself as she soften her letters read"My Little Snow Dancer"it read in black lettering on it.

"Ummm so…how do you like it sis?"rogue asked worried

"Yeah aint like mine though it sure suits you"mercury added trying to livin up the room.

Neptune nodded"though…you gonna be okay?"he asked concerned for his friend.

Many hours later it was late at night at the argus military base in Arugs. The bullheads were flying around in the sky toward their destinations or to do their nightly patrols. But on the landing strip in her atlesian soilder unfirom was winter. She had a small suitcase with her as she dragged it behind her. While wiess along with thetis bid her good bye.

They got toward the landing strip that had winter bullhead. But a surprisng face was at the bullhead waiting for them. Hariet bree standing their waiting for winter schnee to her surrpsie.

"Hariet its a surrpsie to see you here"winter greeted as hariet walked over nodding.

"Well ironwood wanted me to fill you in on some mission objectives. I got dropped off here before they returned to atlas. He wanted to make sure to let you know how our mission went"hariet stated glancing at weiss and thetis.

"Is she coming with?"hariet asked gesturing toward the younger schnee.

"No shes staying here for a pair of sisters here. Their grieivng right now for some friends"winter replied

"Really who?"hariet asked softly

Weiss sighed heavily looking down at the ground"the hayley sisters, they were on team ZERO. along with attending beacon alongside me"she answered as the atlas soldier knew who they meant. But the women seemed troubled because she forgot they were from argus actually.

Hariet gaze soften as she just rubbed her eyes right now"dammit i should have stopped him"she muttered aloud as the three looked at her confused

"What are you talking about?"Weiss asked, concerned about what she meant by that.

"Yes stop who?"thetis replied curiously

"Bree are you talking about the other team member of the sister team"winter asked kwowingly because she recalled those two going after him in that city. But she could have stopped him before he ran off into that city. She just wanted to make sure her little sister got out safe.

The Ace Op looked up sighing as she looked at the ground and glanced around making sure no other atlas personnel were close by. The Ace op looked at winter worried if she might spill what she might say.

"Look me and marrow we found your friends bodie in the city"hariet replied as weiss immediately knew who she meant.

"But…the news said he couldn't be found"weiss replied

"She's right which meant the news is lying to us again"thetis added a little annoyed because it seems more things are being hidden from them.

"Yeah well…uhh commander schnee please don't tell ironwood this"hariet begged a little as winter raised an eyebrow surrpsied by this.

"Depends on what your talking about"winter replied

The Ace Op hung her head down"me and marrow lied to ironwood telling him your friend was beyond recovery. He wanted us…to take his bodie back to be experimented on. I told a few of the despardos I knew to find his bodie to make sure it was sent back to his mother. "Hariet stated as weiss looked down a little at this.

Winter stood their for a moment before chuckling"its seems you don't always follow orders it seems hariet. Though..i'm sure his mother will be happy to have a proper burial"witner said but hariet looked away because she had more troubling news.

"Thats the thing before the tower went out nezumi contacted me. She couldn't find his bodie….grimm probably got him. But enough about that"hriet said diverting the topic wanting to avoid the dreadful subject.

"Right now you need to head home commander. And with what we said this stays between us"hariet asked as weiss hesitated for a moment before nodding as thetis agreed. Winter nodded as she placed a hand on hariet shoulder.

"I will i'm not that much of an ice queen anymore. Though weiss has inherited the title from me"winter joked to hariet surprise as she smiled a little.

"Ok i'll prep the bird say your goodbyes"hariet said as she went off to prepare the bullhead. As she did winter looked at her little sister with a concerned look. Weiss looked at her as the two schnee eyes met with each other. Winter knelt down as she held weiss in a loving embrace.

Weiss felt a little warm as she returned the embrace to her older sister"when you come back to atlas i'll…come by and chec on your and our brothers. Along with mother…i hope father isn't their"winter said the word father with disgust and malice in her voice. Mentioing that man name seemed to make the former ice queen anger.

"That will be nice…though i'll also help miss. Nikos with her grief. I owe her that much"Weiss said as thetis smiled a little nodding to her.

"Thats very sweet of your dear. But you don't need to do that"thetis stated

Weiss shook her head"no pyrrha treated everyone fairly at Beacon. She didn't judge anyone on their background, past or who they were. In my opinion…she was someone to look up to"Weiss said proudly as thetis had a small tear escape.

She wiped it away placing a hand on weiss shoulder nodding to her.

"Thank you for that"thetis thanked. Soon enough hariet signal for winter to join her. The schnee atlas commander walked over toward the bullhead. She loaded her bag onto it as she turned to her sister. Weiss looked as she saw winter mouth some words to her.

"I love you weiss"she mouthed to her as weiss mouth it back as witner nodded. Then she boarded the bullhead as it soon hovered into the sky before shooting off toward its destination. Soon weiss and thetis were escorted back into town by some atlas soldiers. As they were weiss smiled a little because she was actually happy to have some freedom at least. But dreaded the next two weeks for now hoping her father didn't come to take her back home.

It seems winter is off back to atlas to check up on weiss and hers brothers along with their mother. Their is also how eria feels undeserving of her new prothestic leg because she feels worthless. Quick thing people won't always accept help for this type of trauma, it'll take time for this to happen. Thanks for reading.
