Chapter 11 Blue:Signal

In the medical tent xander and ross were going over zane vitals. The beeping of his heart monitor was steady and going at a medium pace it seems. While he took a breath thanks to the machine providing him oxygen. Xander was changing his iv drip right now and he threw the empty one in a biohazard bag.

Then he reached into a small cooler and pulled one out. He looked how many they had left and their were four. Which meant they needed to ration them before rescue came whenever that came.

Ross was busy looking at a scroll in his hands whil Xander hooked up another iv bag to the medical iv poles. Xander clipped it on and he connected it to zane hand. Once he was done he turned to ross who was focused on the scroll.

"Hey doc what are you doing?"xander qeustioned as his ear twitched.

"Hmm oh just looking at his aura guage, i'm surrpsied his scroll still work."ross answered

"Really what is he at right now?"xander asked a little curious because if his aura started to recover more he should be alright.

Ross sighed as he showed him the guage, xander was a little surrpsied by this. Because his aura was at thirteen percent after being passes out for a whole month.

"How the heck is that possible…aura recovery takes about a week sometimes if their exhaustion. But him…its been almost a month. Why?'Xander asked, looking at the sleeping boy.

Ross shook his head as he tried to rack his head around it too. He didn't know at all either and he didn't have a reasonable answer.

"I don't know…but i'm going to tell trifia were running really low on these. Lets just hope they found some way to contact help today"ross said as him and xander was about to leave but Ross stood their looking at the wolf faunus.

"Aren't you forgetting something kid?"ross question.

Xander stared at him for a minute wondering what he meant by that. But soon enough it clicked with him as he slowly relzied what he meant by that.

"Oh….ohhhh someone has to stay with him. "Xander relized with the doctor smirking at him.

"Yes….and you get to do it right now. Have fun kid"ross said as he left xander by himself. The wolf faunus rolled his eyes as this routine was getting a little boring. Because at this point its become part of his daily routine.

As he sat their sitting their watching zane board. He looked over at zane scroll that Ross left. The wolf ears twithced a little as he gor curious. Maybe the guy had some interesting stuff in here. Along with messages he can make fun of his sister for.

Xander went over and opened the scroll. It wa unlocked for some reason, but he didn't mind. He started to go through it wondering exactly who this guy is. Along with figuring out what made his sister so interested in some grimm hybrid.

Back in the main area trifia, yuma and ethan walked to the center of the place. Soon rough trifia whistled loudy to get everyone attention. The whistles echoed as a few of the faunus covered theirs ears. But they all got the message as they made their way over to the center of the safehouse.

As they all gathered they wondered what exactly they wanted. Because it better be good because some of them looked devoid of hope at this point. But they didn't show it though trifia knows their all tired of false hope.

"Alright what up it better be something good"a faunus said in their group.

"Yeah…were running low on food in a couple weeks we'll be out"a women added as she held her child in her arms.

Trifia smiled at the group that was forced it seems delivering some good news.

"Good news everyone we found a way to contact help"trifa said with everyone face lititng up a little. A bunch of murmurs started with a few of the people smiling it seems. It seems their prays have been answered finally after so long.

"Really? What are you waiting for call them"tia said excited as she crossed her arms.

Yuma rubbed the back of his head ready to deliver the bad news of it.

"Heres the bad news…"yuma said as everyone grew silent waiting for him to deliver it.

"Of course their bad news their always bad news"Akasha sarcastically said peeved off.

"Yes, although we made something to boost our signal. We need to head topside to boost the signal. Which means someone needs to go where all those grimm are."Yuma added which surprpsied all of them.

Trifia stepped up looking at their group and with a heavy sigh she asked them to do something.

"Look today might be the day we finally get rescued. I'm asking some of you to head out their today and do this for us. All you need to do is hold out long enough outside till we get the message through"trifia begged it seems.

"Whos willing to help?"she added looking at the group.

Everyone was islent and some hestiated it seems. They looked away not wanting to volunteer for a sucide mission. But if their was hope of them escaping this city they had to try at least. Soon a few people moved through the crowd and stepped up.

"I'll go"akasha said in confidence rasing her hand.

"Umm i'll…go…too"jae said nerovusly as her tail wagged around a little.

Rob sighed as he crossed his arms stepping forward to join the other two. They looked at him nodding a little happy he volunteered. Then another person made their way through the crowd pushing through them.

Tia stepped up with a confidant look on her face ready to help.

"I'll go too…if theirs a chance we can get rescued i'll glady scarfiece myself"tia said

Yuma laughed a little at that"please don't we'll miss your mean attitude toward us faunus"he hoked

Tia rolled her eyes crossing her arms under her bust"shut up, thought I told you I was sorry. Now we doing this or what?"tia replied

"Yes, but you will need help operaitng such a device"ethan said stepping toward the group with the device in hand.

"Are you sure your oaky to do this old man, you guys could not come back"trifia warned with concern.

The old man known as ethan looked toward her and the group around him. He gave a small smiling nodding to her that he was okay with this.

"I'm fine with this dear….this old man can still keep up with you younging"ethan replied laughing a little.

Trifia closed her eyes as she smiled then looked at the group."alright then i'll go with my webs we can get to the building roof tops quickly. Then yuma you hand us the device through the grate up their. "Trifa began explaining the plan.

"You got it though you gave me the hardest task here"yuma sarcastically said.

"Sure you do were going outside risking out lives and you have to hand up a megaphone"akasha quipped with yuma rolling his eyes at her.

"Alright everyone gear up and meet near the entrance. Once were ready we head topside. This is it everyone we'll be able to finally leave this dam city"trifia declared in confidence.

Everyone then went off to prepare for their plan. As they did yuma smiled at trifia who crossed her arms looking at everyone working together to do this. They were grabbing supplies the group going up top might need. The spider faunus looked humbled by this in a way.

"So you think your a good leader now?"Yuma asked knowing her answer already.

Trifia gentle nodded her head as she studied the place around her. They manaegd to do some good in the world it seems. At least they managed to make these people see not all faunus are bad it seems.

Back in the room with zane and bane the two walked down the frozen and fiery path prepared for what will be thrown at them. As they did it was too quiet for some reason. They should have ran into something or someone at least by now.

Something off and he didn't like it, bane noticed this and voiced his concerns as well.

"Seems we haven't encountered any nightmares yet. Strange they usually show up by now"bane stated outloud.

"God dammit why did you say that"Zane said rubbing his eyes.

"What I just–"Bane began as six black like goo's emerged from the side starting to surround the two. Zane looked at bane giving him a I told him so face. Bane shrugged his shoulder at zane who shook his head.

Zane got out his revolver as he primmered the hamemrs ready to fight their foes. Bane did the same but only took one out with his mirror image of remorse. The two looked toward each other nodding to each other.

Soon enough the nightmares formed into six beowolfs around them. But they all were strange because three of them were blue and had ice on their bodie. While the other three were covered in fire glowing orange.

"Guess this room got some tricks for us"Zane added with Bane nodding.

"We can take them after this we'll be close to leaving"bane replied

Soon the nightmare beowolves came convergin on the two readied to kill them. One swung at zane and dodged roll firing off shots at the grimm. Then another swung at him, he side stepped them and fired more into it. One got close lunging at him and zane recovered rolling on the ground out of the way.

Then he aimed at one three shots into one as he heard a click. But luckily the one he shot dropped dead as it disppeared into an orange smoke. Then he jumped back up as he reloaded his revolver. He lucky he get infinite ammo here it seems.

One beowolf swung at Bane as he leaned backward to dodge it attack. He aimed his revovler toward it firing twice into its head. But the grimm was still kicking it seems. Then another one moved in swinging at him. Bane quickly spun around it slashing at its legs.

The creature feel from its knees to the ground groaning. Bane then lifted his katana stabbing it through its heart killing it. The nightmare then disppeared and he was too slow as another one came rushing at him. It bashed him into one of the flaming tree. He landed with a thud.

Zane looked a little shokced as he refocused his attention on dealing with another nightmare beowolf. The nightmare swung its claws at him and he unloaded more bullets into it. The beast slowed down a little as it started to fall down dead to the ground. Zane then holstered his revolvers as he took out his katan remorse.

Zane then rushed through slicing through another nightmare as it slowly fell down dead to the ground. Only two remainded and Bane finally recovered. Bane aimed his revolver and shot one in the chest stunning it. Then he spritned forward with his katana and slashed its chest hiking it up. Then he turned backwards as he stabbed it backwards killing it.

The last nightmare rushed in at bane who was disitrcted. But a gun shot rang out and he turned to see zane their smiling. Bane nodded as he quickly got back up. Then he jumped onto the last nightmare stabbing it enough the two looked at each other a little tired from their little fight.

"Dam….that was exhausting"zane said resting his hands on his knees.

Bane breathed a little heavy smiling at him"your right….but look's like were getting closer to the end of this room"bane pointed out at a light near the end.

Zane smiled a little as they were getting closer to getting out of here. He and bane then continued to walk toward the light. But zane also was curious about what he will have to do with eria and rogue.

Xander was busy looking through zane scroll looking at some of the pictures in it. He was a little happy that his sister seemed to be enjoying herself with her team. Some of them were weird because he found some file called zanes monster bash.

He looked at it because he got curious and he kind of regretted it. It showed the guy in some monster-like form. Xander got a little scared and hoped he didn't almost kill his sister in this form.

"Man seems like sis seems to be enjoying herself."xander said to himself.

Xander went through the pictures until he found one with her,velvet and zane at the vytal dance. The three were in their dresses and suits that night with a few others. He laughed a little because his sister towered over most of them except for a couple of them.

She hit her growth spurt before him, she held that over him for a few years. But he remember how self conscious she was as kids about her traits. She tried his best to protect his big its the older sibling's job to protect their siblings.

But he thought she should at least have someone protecting her. Though this guy seems to have been protecting her and he was happy about that.

Xander laughed a little while talking to Zane it seems he had nothing better to do.

"You know…I hope you protected my big sister. She seems to really like you….but if you hurt her in anyway i'll kick your butt. Along with that hope I meet this other girlfriend of hers"xander said

Then he was about to set zane scroll down until he noticed a recent video in his scroll. The title of the video was called goodbye. Which confused the wolf as he wondered what this meant. He tapped the video and saw a play button. He tapped the play button and the video started.

He watched the video for maybe five minutes as he stared at it. Along with repeatedly looking over at zane with concern and anger it he was seeing was something that probably hurt his big sister.

Near their small armory they had the group was loading up for their mission to boost the radio signal. They didn't have much left but they had a few spare weapons it seems. Most of their weapons were either broken by now or they ran out of ammo for.

Though they grabbed what they can trying to leave some behind incase it didn't do well.

Akasha loaded in some shells into her shotgun and cocked it loaidng a new shell in. She slung it around her back as she stood up to tie her shoes. She undid them and double knotted them. The falcon faunus had a serious expression on her face and was hoping their plan would work today.

Tia grabbed the mace she borrowed from them and twirling it as she rested it on her right shoulder. She began to walk toward the entrance with tia.

Jae sharpened her climbing axes as she used a shapring stone on them. Soon enough they shined like they were brand new. She smiled as she sheatehd the two making her way with the others to the front.

Rob had a large assault rifle in his hands it seems. Then with a click of a button it changed into a large claymore sword. He had a stoic look on his face as he made his way to the exit of their base.

The small group made their way with trifia and ethan already waiting for the group patiently. Miyuki and carver stood their ready to let them go outside. Carver nodded to miyuki who calmed herself.

Then her eyes lit up with a blue flame around them. She lifted her hand as the ice in front of them started to pull apart slowly. As it did miyuki grunted a little as she tried to keep her focus using her maiden powers.

She then stood their moving both her hand's apart as the large ice block split in half. Then the group looked at each other slowly nodded to each other. They then made their way through the small ice passage.

They felt the cold air wafting off of it as Jae shivered alot. She was cold blooded after all and she hated this. Soon enough the group got to the other side. Close to them was the ladder that lead topside. Although the manhole cover here put them in the middle of the place.

From behind them they heard the hole in the ice start to be covered back up. Miyuki on the otherside lifted her hand up as a small bit of circles covered the hole. Miyuki breathed heavy on the otherside a little.

She wans't used to this still because it was really hard for her to do. But she didn't feel didn't she just struggled doing it for a bit. Maybe with some proper training she could improve her powers.

"Alright are all of you ready to do this"Trifia asked as she placed a hand on the ladder.

"We wound't be here if we weren't"akasha replied with the other nodding in agreement.

Soon enough trifia put one hand on the ladder as she slowly climbed up it. The other did the same and triifa pushed at the manhole cover. She pushed it up and a clanking sound could be heard.

Trifia pushed up sliding over the man hole cover. She then climbed up it and offered a hand to ethan. The old man grabebd her as she gentle pulled him out of the hole. The other soon followed as akasha climbed out from behind ethan.

Then it was tia, jae and lastly rob. They all looked around where they were right now. The group was in the middle of the street it seems. The building around them had several windows smashed in. Debris cluttered the streets that seem to be from the building.

A bunch of cars were flipped over blocking of a section of the street. The group looked around noticing no grimm where over here. They were lucky no grimm where up here for now. Trifia then lifted her hand in the air.

She then pointed over toward a small sidewalk. The four nodded as they headed over their. Ethan slowly made his way over their to the group. Trifia sighed as she picked up the small old man dragging him over to the group.

Jae looked through a sewer drain and saw their safehouse underneath. She stuck a hand out letting them know their here and yuma was down below. He had the makeshift radar dish in hand. He flapped his wings as he slowly made his way up to the ground.

Yuma flapped with all his might and soon got close to jae. He reached out to her and the girl reached for it. She managed to get close to grabbing it but missed it a bit. Yuma began to sink a little as he tried to hover the best he can.

"Come on dammit grab the thing"yuma said in between making eye contact with jae.

"I'm trying"jae replied annoyed that she can't reached it.

After a couple more times she managed to finally grab it and she smiled. Yuma smiled as he slowly descend down below. He landed on the ground with a thud and breathed a little. Everyone in their looked at him who smield giving a thumbs up.

"Alright thats step one down….now its up to them"ross said looking toward the sewer drain that led outside.

Back outside jae slowly pulled her arm out of the drain. The other waited for her patiently and were wondering if she got it.

"Dammit Jae did you get it?"rob asked as he stood in a defensive stance.

"Yeah..yeah..keep your pants on here it is"jae said as she presented the makeshift radar dish in hand.

"Great now all we need to do it get high enough to start the broadcast"trifa added.

Their plan seemed to be going well and they could actually make it out of this alive maybe. Trifia motioned for jae to hand her it. Jae handed the spider fuanus the dish. Then trifa pulled down her right glove. She aimed her wrist up toward the roof above them.

Then a web like substances shot upwards stickig to the side of the building. Trifia removed her other glove as she put her hand to the side of the building. She slowly moved her hand up the building as she crawled her way up the building.

As she did tia scanend their area and it was too quiet. But as they sat their for what was like minutes. A loud bang went off and they all looked toward the left side. Several gun shots and screaming would be heard.

They all looked at each other scared wondering what exactly was coming toward them. All of them started to ge tin position for whatever was coming. Jae and tia stood in front of them readying their weapons.

Rob readied his claymore sword shfitign his feet apart a little. He held it with two hands staring down the street for what was coming. Akasha lifted her shotgun aiming it down the street wondering what exactly was coming. Ethan stood their as he waited for trifia to get high enough.

They stood their for what was like minutes or hours even. Then soon enough around the corner of the street three police officer ran around the corner. They were running from something and soon it turned the corner.

Their down the street was a manticore grimm and they looked at each other shocked at what they were seeing. They never seen such a large grimm like that before in their lives.

"Hey trifia hurry up"Akasha warned trying to get the spider faunus attention.

Trifia finally got close to the edge of the roof and she pulled herself up. She used both her hands as she pulled herself onto the roof. Then she looked down at them wondering what they were looking at.

"What are you–"trifia begun before she saw the cops and large grimm down the street. Soon enough the grimm roared as it smacked two of the vale city cops into a nearby wall. Both hit the wall lfieless and slumped to the ground. While the other office was firing several shots at the beast to no avial.

"Crap"trifia cursed under her breath as she shot a web down at ehtan. Ethan was a little caught off guard by this as he went upwards really fast. He landed on the roof and he landed on his back hard. A crack could be heard and trifa went wide eyed.

Ethan slowly got up rubbing his back and he looked to be in pain.

"Oh no…i'm so sorry…i must have pulled too hard"trifia quickly apolgized.

Ethan chuckled a little at her coughing a little."eh its alright sweetcheeks…..now lets get this radio started.i'll be fine"ethan replied as trifia looked at him with worry.

The spider faunus then grabbed the makeshift radio dish and handed it too the man. Ethan began to work on the device as he began to turn knobs on it. As he did a small static like noise emitted from it.

But down the street the manticore was busy chomping down on the two other vale city police. But as it did its ears perked up a little as it slowly turned its head toward them. The group looked at the grimm as it did this with worried looks.

"Oh crap"tia announced pointing her mace at the manticore down the street.

The manticore then licked its lip as it slowly made its way down the street towards it next prey and meal. The others looked at each other and jae was shaking a little scared. Akasha saw this and went over to her friend as the two stood side by side.

She gave a small smile reassuring the girl that they'll be alright. But akasha knew something bad might be happening. If they can at least get the radio broadcast out they can save the others.

In the fire and ice area zane kept walking forward for about maybe twenty minutes. Soon enough the two made it to the source of the bright lgiht. Their in the middle two figures stood their standing back to back.

They soon came to life looking toward the two as the two changed their appearance into rogue and eria.

"Oh hey my traditor of a partner who left us"fake rogue problaimed holding her axe.

"Yes sister and the one who left me for dead in the city"fake eria added

Zane took a deep breath knowing that some of that was true. But deep down he knew the made it out. Although he hoped eria did since he never figured out what happened to her. This time he knew they were fakes but was still hurt by their words.

He raised remorse reaided to fight as bane raised both malice revolvers. The two fakes then rushed in toward the two charging at them. Rogue went for zane while eria went for bane. Rogue raised her axe clashing with zanes katana.

The two weapons colldied as they stared each other down. Zane stared at her back then pushed her back. Then he swiftly kicked the girl head knocking her off to the side. The fake rogue quickly recovered as she dug her axe into the ground.

She then looked up as she produced a gauntlet. Zane eyes went wide as he knew what that meant. Without hesitating the fake rogue fired a stream of fire toward him. Zane quickly dodged out of the way running to avoid the fire.

Bane was meanwhile blocking the fake eria swing from her bat. The two collide with each other for a bite. The fake then lifted one hand grabbing bane forearm. She then activated her semblance as his arm froze over. Bane arm was in pain but he gritted his teeth before kicking the fake backward. Bane looked at his frozen arm and scoffed. He walked over to a flaming tree lfiitng it up.

The ice quickly melted and he prepared himself for another attack from the girl. Meanwhile zane dodged another one of rogue axe swing. The fake smield a little while she lifted it up under him. It hit him knocking him back a bit.

The fake smiled and started walking toward him.

"Your a real jerk you know that…you leave a message for us that your dying. Now your going to pay for that"the fake rogue said raising her axe above zane at his head.

Zane sighed as he looked up at his partner and slowly got up. He walked toward her as the fakes eye widden. Then she swung her axe at him. But as she did zane ducked underneath it. Then he pulled it out of her hands throwing it out of the way.

The two stared at each other before zane clenched hit fist closing his eyes.

"I'm sorry…i shouldnt have…done something like that.I know you aren;t the real one but…I know your probably hurting alot right now. But right now i'll make sure to come back to you guys….partner"Zane said smiling

The fake rogue looked at him as she slowly dispepared into a smoke. Then he looked toward eria and banes fight. The ice queen was winning against him and he was dodging her attack. He upper cutted her launching her backwards landing in front of zane.

The fake eria growled at him and stared at him with hate in her eyes

"You left me for dead…..now my sister lost both an uncle and sister on the same day"the fake eria said looking at him.

"Look fake princess ice queen, their may be part of me blaming myself for your death. But I looked everywhere for you in vale. Though a small part of me hopes winter got you safely out of vale. But if you are dead….then its my fault"zane said looking down.

The fake eria stared at him before falling to her knees as she began disappearing too.

Zane and Bane looked at each other after facing their last challenge here. Then zane looked toward the glowly ball in the center as it expanded. Zane sighed ready for the light to consume him this time. He stood their letting it happen as the light covered him.

As he waited their he slowly opened his eyes to see what was infront of him. Two bright figures stood in front of him side by side. Rogue on the right and eria on the left. Zane sighed to himself as he looked at the two.

If he recalled this is when he first saw the two together with him. It was during initiation as the two stood side by side. He still couldn't believe the two were sisters still. Their persoanltiy for one were different. Eria the cold and emotionless one while rogue was the hyper active and happy one.

"Seems the twins have left you a present"bane said with zane already going toward it

Their in front of him were two blades surrounded by light and he knew what they were. He reached out both hands for the blades. Then in his hands his falcata swords appeared in front of him dubbed mercy. Bane backed glowed a little as another pair of them appeared on him as well.

"Guess that the full set…though the last door will be our hardest challenge yet"zane said gesturing toward the door.

"Yes….it will be then you'll wake up kid"bane replied

The click of a door could be heard notifying him the final door opened. He sighed as he layed on the ground relaxing. Then as he waited the floor did what it always does when hes done here. It opens up taking him down below to wherever here is.

In the medical tent xander was getting up to leave. But as he did ross entered the tent with a big smile on his face.

"Good news kid we got the radio working"ross proclaimed

Xander crossed his arms as his ears twitched a little. Ross was confused for a moment before looking down to see what was in xander hands. He saw the scroll and he closed his eyes sighing in disappointment.

"Let me guess you saw the message he left for his friends…and your sister"ross asked

"Yeah, and right now i'm a little mad at him for what he did."xander replied

Ross walked past him taking a seat in a chair motioing him to join him. The wolf faunus stared him down as he slowly pulled a chair out joining him. The two stood their for a bit staring at each other for however long they were their.

Ross sighed as he put his hands together to speak to the young wolf faunus.

"Kid…you gotta understand why he did it"ross calmly explained.

"Really…because how i'm seeing it he left a message to my sister saying he was killing himself. You may not know my family but…i'm probably guessing what she's going through right now"xander replied crossing his arms.

"Hmm really, let me guess grief, anger, saddness"Ross asked wtih xander slowly nodded not softening his gaze.

"But let put it this way did you hear the part where he said…he didn't want to be control again"Ross asked

"Yeah, so what I heard he was under mental suggestion but my sister doesn't deserve to hear something like that. "Xander begun as he looked at the table in front of him.

"It was the first time in a year I saw her actually happy. When she left the white fang she was sad about something. She didn't leave her room for weeks."xander begun clenching his fist.

"Then I figured out what happened from akasha….she helped scout a town in vacou. Their little girl stood up to them. Then ollie shot her dead just like blamed herself for what happened that day"Xander said as he looked up with a few tears on his face.

"Look kid…right now i'm pretty sure your anger at him. But a little happy he might be alive, who knows after this you find your sister and she all happy seeing both of you alive"ross added resuring the wolf.

Xander looked at him a little smiling as he stared at the scroll in his hands. He gently put it down as ross motioned for him to go. The wolf faunus nodded as he left the room to let ross take over sleeping beauty duties.

Back outside the group held their fire as the manticore approached them. Ethan messed with the nobs to get the right frequency on the radar dish. The others stared at the large grimm scared for whats going to happen next.

"Come on old man hurry up…that thing looks pretty hunger"trifa warned as she watched the grimm approach them.

"Don't worry I almost….ah ha got it"ethan proclaimed

Down below near the radio yuma heard it come to life. Then he heard another voice emitting from the speakers.

"Dam radio on the fritz again picking up random transmission"the voice on the other end said.

Yuma grabbed the walkie talkie connected to it on the radio.

"Hello…hello, if anyone is hearing this please respond. Were in a sewer system. We need help right now. We have people injured along with sending some with a rescue team. Their are twenty of us here. Please respond"yuma said as he pressed the button to talk.

"Wait what….who is this repeat your message we only got half of it?"the voice asked

"Were survivors trapped in a sewer system near the residential district over"yuma said into the radio.

The person on the other end started to static out as yuma banged on the raido. He kept trying to get it too work and soon enough the signal was lost as all they could hear was static.

"Dammit!"yuma shouted slamming his fist on the table. He looked at the people behind him staring at him. He sighed hoping that the message got through. From the sound of it might have which did give him hope.

Meanwhile near the manhole cover everyone was dropping down now. Rob jumped down first as he caught everyone who jumped down the hole. Jae dropped down first and he caught her. He successfully moved the girl out of the way.

Then tia jumped down and he caught her moving her out of the way. Next was akasha who landed in his arm and gave a small salute being quickly moving out of the way. Trifia jumped down rolling as rob moved out of her way.

Ethan slowly made his way down ladder but as he got ready to jump down. Something grabbed his leg and he looked back as he hung from the top of the manhole went wide eyed as ethan tried to hold onto the ladder for dear life.

"Dammit grab him"tia said as trifia jumped up on rob shoudlers. He boosted her up as she grabbed the old guys hand. She began to pull with all her might to pull him back down. Ethan looked behind him as his face began to soften.

"Wheres ethan?"she questioned looking at them.

"He didn't make it…that thing grabbd him right when he was coming down"jae simply replied as she looked down.

Miyuki sighed heavy as she covered her eyes then looked back at them. They looked at her waiting for any news on the radio it seems. She turned for a second before taking a deep breath then looked at them.

"Our message made it through it seems…..but only part of hope they can find us"miyuki said dleiveirng the news. The group looked at each other as they slowly picked themselves up. They all went inside as miyuki eyes grew flames and she closed the entrance behind them.

Everyone looked at the group who just came back as trifia sighed, she walked down teh railing ahnging her head down. Then she slowly made her way into the bedding they had here. She took off her knife as she placed it on an inn table close to her. Then she slowly layed down heading to sleep. The spider faunus drifted to sleep soon enough hoping for a better day.
