After winning the 1st Grand Magic Games, Fairy Tail was very busy. Jobs flooded into their guild and they need to keep taking them or their guild's reputation will plummet. There are too many jobs including S-Class jobs so Ben needs to take them and left the guild management to the officials.
There were only 3 individuals who could take S-Class jobs so Ben and Mira are very busy. They take some young mages with them to gain experience. It would also allow the young mages to see how difficult S-Class jobs are.
It wasn't just the jobs that increased, but more mages joined their guild. A lot of mages want to join Fairy Tail so Ben is super busy. He needs to take jobs while also screening the applicants. He needed to be thorough with the screening because he didn't want any spies to join the guild.
There were tons of applicants but Ben only accepted 13 young mages. He had checked them thoroughly from their background and history. He also used Lie Detector Magic to check and see if they lie in the screening process and if they are clean.
Furthermore, he only accepted young mages because they still have time to grow. Most of them are weak, far weaker than the older applicants with a lot of experience. But they have more potential to grow as they are still young.
Their mages' potential for growth is very important for Fairy Tail's future. These young mages are the ones who will carry Fairy Tail's name in the future. Older mages might retire in a few years but the young ones might stay for 20 more years before they retire.
The jobs and applicant number finally returned to normal after 3 months. Ben needed to admit he underestimate the Grand Magic Games' effect too much. Fortunately, it didn't last for a year or they collapse while their guild grew.
Time passed and Bisca gave birth to a daughter. Alzack and Bisca named her Asuka Connell. They combined Alzack and Bisca's names, but it sounded Japanese, well maybe it is, whatever.
After Asuka was born, Mira carried her frequently and kept showing her to Ben while saying a baby is cute. He knew why she did that but he acts as if he doesn't know and just agrees that Asuka is cute.
Mira was disappointed and Ben felt sorry for her. But he still won't agree to have a baby even if Mira asked him directly. They aren't married yet so having a baby now was out of the question.
Ben is still 19 while Mira is 21. In his mind, they are too young to have a kid. At the very least, he wanted to be 21 years old before he has a kid. Besides, they are still very busy managing their guild so they can't take care of a kid yet.
Time passed again and the following year, the Wizard Saint competition took place again. But now it was held in another nation, the country of Seven. The winner was the woman who used Plant Magic and competed against Ben for the Wizard Saint position 2 years ago.
She challenged Ben for the title match and as predicted, she lost again. It only took him 5 minutes to win the match and he is still holding back. Both of them had improved over the last 2 years but Ben's improvement is faster than hers.
A month after the Wizard Saint tournament, Ben opened his magic car manufacturing company. His company's name was rather simple, it's Cooper Corp. Yeah, very simple and not creative. Still, it's his family's business, so he just used his family's last name.
Sometime after that, the 2nd Grand Magic Games took place. For the 2nd competition, Fairy Tail just sent their youngest mages, literally. They send Romeo, the 3 kids that Ben and Mira saved 2 years ago and believe it or not, Bella.
Bella had trained seriously after the Tenrou Island incident. She can use various types of magic now with support magic as her specialty. Not only magic, but Ben had taught her about strategy.
Everyone with a brain knew that Fairy Tail wasn't serious about this competition. But surprisingly, the kids almost enter the top 8, showing that they aren't as weak as people assumed. Fairy Tail had trained it's young mages really well.
Well, it wasn't just their training that was leagues above the other guilds. Their environment is also leagues about the others. The high ethernano density around Fairy Tail's guild hall has boosted their mages' growth.
Many other guilds and even the Magic Council tried to investigate the reason for the high ethernano density around the Fairy Tail guild hall. But no one stumbled upon an answer to this day. Some of them even tried to use violence to find the answer but that wasn't a good idea.
Ben really hated those that tried to harm those who are close to him. So he didn't show any mercy and destroyed them thoroughly. He didn't kill them, but he would make sure they didn't have a happy future.
Most of them had their magic power sealed by Ben so they won't be able to use magic. He used high level Seal Art that he came up with alongside A.I Chip using many Seal Arts. It is so complex even Seal Masters would need years to break the seal.
After Ben sealed most of the mages magic, no one dared to mess with Fairy Tail except idiots. The Magic Council wasn't able to do anything to Ben because he knew about the skeletons in their closet. He had recorded all the corruption that took place within the Council so they have to let Ben get away with it.
Besides, he acquired a lot of evidence that justified his actions. This was self defense, plain and simple. If he wanted to, he could kill the people that threatened the members of Fairy Tail. But he didn't kill them and just turned them back into ordinary civilians, that was his form of mercy.
Then at the end of the year, on December 25th X787, the members of Fairy Tail didn't take any jobs. Ben instructed them to avoid taking jobs for a week because they have something important to do. Kenshin had finally managed to uncover the name of the spell that was used on Tenrou Island. After that announcement, there weren't any incoming jobs for a week.
All the members of Fairy Tail headed to the river behind their guild. Then suddenly, the water in the center rises and big waves spread everywhere. As the rising water fell, a massive square block made out of black metal can be seen standing over the river, it's a object made out of metal.
A square door opened on the side of the object. Then a bridge rose up from the riverbed and connected the land with the metal object. Most Fairy Tail members cross the bridge and enter the object, only a few stay behind. Kenshin didn't need to board the airship as he transformed into a wind current.
Soon, the upper part of the metal object split open. Then Fairy Tail's airship came out of the metal object and floated above it. Everyone on the ground waved their hands and then the airship flew away at high speed.
The white and gold airship flew to the south, toward the sea. It kept flying before it stopped in the middle of the sea. Ben suddenly jumped down from the airship. Strangely, he didn't display any signs of motion sickness even though he was inside a vehicle that wasn't a car.
Ben floats in the air and looks at the sea below before he closes his eyes. He took a deep breath and flowed his magic power through his body as he extended his hands to the side. His body suddenly glowed brightly and a wide area of the sea below him also glowed brightly.
The airship also glowed brightly as everyone on it transferred their magic power to Ben. Then Ben claps his hands and the bright water below him flared up violently. The water level in the bright area suddenly rises and created big waves that spread out everywhere.
Ben then chanted, "Fairy Sphere: Deactivate!"
