Chapter 14 Blue:Catching up
Zane didn't know how long he was out but all he knew was that he was alive. He was at a small wooden table as carver was making something for the group to eat. As he did zane felt a little happy to see some of his friends again and his girlfriend.
Although his entire body felt sore from all that fighting he did during the fall. Though he tried to keep a straight face to say he was okay. He felt exhausted right now, his aura probably was probably tripling its efforts to heal his wounds.
Zane felt a little cold since he was wearing nothing but some pants although he just sat their as they caught up for a bit. But velvet kept smiling sitting next to him the entire time.
"So you feeling alright?"cardin smugly asked as zane stared at him from across the table. Everyone was mostly their as they talked. Zane recalled the girl with the beanie because of onxyia match, her name was may.
Coco was their if he recalled she was from CFVY, their leader. Along with Naca who kept eyeing miyuki it seems. He didn't have the best wrap sheet with her because he did throw her and that cat faunus girl on her team around like ragdolls.
But alot of these other people he saw with them he didn't know them at all. Although he was surprised to see miyuki and carver here. He thought they might be out of the city or something.
"Really your asking me that now…I feel like I got run over by a bus ten times"zane said as he rubbed his banged winced a little because it was this wasn't a pleasant experience.
"Hmm well you did have a shattered shoulder, about six broken ribs, a stab wound to the leg and abdomen. Along with that you had several bruises around your 'll be sore for a bit since you did lay in a bed for a while."Xander added as he rattled off his injuries.
Zane was a little surprised by his knowledge in medicine he seems to be fifteen maybe judging by his age. Though also a sense of familarity from him.
Carver was busy cooking something on a small portable stove they had. But whatever it was it smelled like heaven to him. Because he doesn't know how long he was out but he was starving.
"Though I have a question…where are we right now?"Zane asked as he looked around. They looked to be in some type of adbonaded sewer system maybe.
The falcon faunus with them decided to explain it to the sleeping beauty they've been taking care of.
"Were in an old abandon sewer system. This place from what our friend who let us stay here says. It used to be an drainage area but was shut down after someone dumped some illegal chemicals here."akasha replied
"But if your wondering what continent were in were in Vale right now"jae added as she sat ontop of the table.
That was surrpsing because last thing he remembered was Vale in ruin as grimm swarmed the city. But they might be in a small safehouse or something. Which means grimm could be swarming the streets still which is bad.
"So…what about the school is it…"zane said as cardin and coco nodded to him.
"Yeah its gone…along with most of the city right now"coco said sadly.
Zane stared at them with a stunned expression not even knowing what to say as he shook his head.
"Dam…guess that means…no more research paper from oobleck"Zane smiled as he said this.
Cardin covered his mouth a little while holding in his laugh. Coco just shook her head smiling at that as velvet giggled a enough cardin couldn't hold it in anymore as he let out a loud laugh that echoed in the sewer system.
"Oh man…almost forgot how you crack wise everytime"Cardin sighed a little as he wiped a tear from his face smiling. He seems happy that zane was alive right now.
Soon enough carver turned off the portable stove. The flame died down as he brought whatever he was cooking over. Carver set it down in front of zane as he looked at what it was.
It looked to be some soup it seems, he saw some noodle, vegetables and other things. But he didn't care if he had to; he'd eat dirt right now. Thier was a pit in his stomach that needed to be filled right now.
Zane picked up a utensil provided and immediately began eating it. As he took a bite he felt like he was in heaven. Although he wound't mind some pancakes or something right now. Though their seems to be none here. Unless they could make pancakes from the strange mushrooms in the corner.
"Jeez kid you must be hunger for being out soo long. Take it easy"Carver warned him a bit as he slowed down he sat his utensils down for a moment.
"Wait…how long was I out?"zane asked as the other stared at him for a bit.
"Zane…how long do you think you've been out?"may questioned as she looked over her sniper rifle. She was busy polishing it down because it got a little dirty in the sewers.
He stood their thinking to hismelf for a bit how long he was out. Since their still here he guessed maybe a few days but probably more judging by their appearance.
"I don't know…three…four days why?"zane replied which surprised them a little he thinks its been that long.
Carver sighed close by as he rested a hand on the kids shoulder. He winced a little as carver quickly removed it putting his hands up. Zane didn't mind but now he was worried he was out. He waited for them to tell him patiently.
"It's been a month since the fall of Vale and Beacon"Cardin softly said as Zane went wide eyed.
He put his hands on his head not believing what he was hearing right now. Its been that long since he got hurt. Wouldn't that mean he was in that hospital bed for a month.
"I've been out for that long jeez….I thought it was just a few days"zane said as he leaned back in his chair shocked.
"Though you did send yourself to your death when you went back into that what were you thinking"coco added. She was right in a way he went back their to redeem himself for killing Penny along with finding that type of mentality was pushed back into his head.
"Yeah seriously that was straight up creepy"may added as he glanced at velvet who glared slightly as he sighed.
"Guessing you wanna punch me in the jaw bun"he asked expecting it as she flicked him on the forehead.
"Where talking about this when we get the chance"velvet answered which he hoped for the best
Cardin looked at zane who just looked down at the ground avoiding their gaze. He guessed he didn't wanna talk about it right now. But he did have a pretty good reason to stay in that city. He was just scared of what would happen if they got control of him again.
He sighed"look after were done here maybe get some therapy for this stuff alright"he suggested
Zane nodded"yeah though…the twins and wolfie are probably pissed at me"he said
As he then thought about that something crossed his mind as his eyes bulged out of my head.
"My team!? Where are they? Please tell me their alright?"zane questioned as he got up from the table slamming it. But as he did he winced a little from his sat back down rubbing it, his entire bodie felt very sore right now.
"Look, we'll tell you more about it once you get dressed. But you have to be prepared for what you're going to hear"cardin said as zane nodded. Then he quickly finished his food as Carver took the dish and threw it into a trash can. After that the falcon fuanus then helped zane to go get some change of clothes.
He did agree he needed some new cloths because just a pair of pants aint exactly in style right now. Also he was very cold right now and they weren't keeping him the other went to wait for him and to break the news about what happened to his teammates along with some of their friend.s
As this was going on liam, trifia, yuma and a swat officer were in the command tent. They all took seats around the table waiting for the spider faunus to talk. She stood their like it was an integration against them.
Their was a vale city police officer here and two hired guns outside gaurding the tent. She looked at liam with suspicion as what his angle was.
"Alright what do you wanna talk about merc?"trifia questioned.
Liam had his hand on the table as he turned his chair to face her. The two stood their for what seemed like minutes, hours even. Then he sighed as he collapsed his hands together looking at her.
"Look that yumi girl told us who you all are….your all white fang"Liam said simply.
Trifia and yuma stared at the two for a second. Yuma seemed a little nervous because that would mean they might arrest them. They left the white fang and they helped all these people and their going to get repaid by getting thrown in jail.
Trifia tapped her thumbs together as she sat their starting to get nervous. Her instinc were kicking in a little to kill these two then leave. But she composed herself and decided to try a different approach.
"Yes….most of the faunus here are ex White Fang"trifia simply replied
The officer and liam looked at each other for a bit a little stunned at what their hearing. Along with what yumi said early this might support their claim but they decided to dig deeper it seems.
"Alright but why are their civillians here are you holding them hostage"the officer questioned.
Trifia shook her head at him at what he accused her of.
"No…no, we decided to save them during the fall. Its the least we could do for everything we did in the white fang"trifia replied looking down.
Liam was still curious about why exactly a large group of white fang operatives would leave. He had to get more questions about what was going on.
"Alright if your not with the white fang why did you exactly leave. Must be a pretty good reason to hide here. Along with helping human you all hate"liam said
Yuma rubbed his eyes a little annoyed at all their they would question them about why their here exactly and why they left the white fang.
"Want the complex or simple answer johnny law?"yuma asked
"Lets go with the simple answer for now"the swat officer replied
"Ok, the reason we left because of a new order that came in. Specifically tailored toward anyone who left."trifia began
"What do you mean by new orders?"liam questioned a little intrigued.
Trifia took a deep breath as she mentally prepared herself to say this again.
"If you left the white fang your to be executed on sight immediately. In effect and given by one ollie weaver"trifa replied
Liam eyes widden a little hearing that name because something happened to taurus apparently. He hasn't been seen on the radar much and has apparently left the white fang.
"Hmm, it seems your high commander went a little crazy. Though that would make sense since one of them is gone"liam said as the two faunus enforcers looked at him.
"What do you mean by one of the leaders is gone?"Yuma questioned, wondering what he meant by that.
"Your other leader Adam Tarrus has apparently disappeared off the face off remnant. But theirs been barely any word from weaver as well. Though back to our other question,why did you help the humans here"the officer asked
Yuma sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck because his wings were bothering him in this chair.
"Look we helped them because…we relized that all this blood we've spilled isn't getting us anywhere"yuma replied as he looked down at the table.
"Yeah, a few people made us relize that we weren't getting anywhere. Along with that order coming in we all wanted to leave as soon a possible"trifa added sighing.
Liam and the officer looked at each for a second. Then the officer gentle nodded to the mercenary. Liam stood up as the two faunus were ready if they were going to be arrested.
"Ok if you're going to arrest us do–"yuma began as he stood up to present his hands.
"Hmm, it seems like you're helping bring back the white fang to its former glory,"liam added to the two surprise.
They looked at each other for a second wondering what he meant by that exactly.
"Wait, you're not going to arrest us?"trifia asked looking at the two.
The swat officier shook his head toward the two"no from what I see these people seem to trust you around here. You put your lifes on the line for vale. In my opinion your good in my book"The officer replied
"Although lets keep this on the hush and hush with the others though. Don't want everyone to try and kill each other when we get back to camp"liam suggested.
"Hmm alright….although we should work on getting the control panel fixed"trifia suggested.
The four agreed that was important right now. Because it would make transporting the people here easier. They headed out of the tent to discuss fixing the control panel.
Akasha led zane to a small changing area it seems. Their was just one makeshift stall and a curtain in front of it. Zane stood their waiting for the falcon to give him something to wear. Soon enough she arrived with some new clothing for him.
"Here you go some new threds, get changed sleeping beauty"Akasha said as she handed him a new set of clothing. A pair of jeans folded along with a shirt and socks. Along with some black shoes and his signature belt.
"Really this new outfit is starting to grow on me…it feels so free"zane replied as akasha rolled her eyes.
"God what does that girl see in you"akasha muttered loud enough to hear, getting zane attention a little. Before he could say anything, Akasha walked off real quick to grab something it seemed.
He shurgged his shoulders as he went into the changing room he closed the curtain as he changed.
Zane took the green pants off and he was in a pair of underwear. Though he took those off and put on a fresh pair provided with the clothes akasha gave him. Then he put his pants on one leg at a time as he sat down.
They felt loose but he wrapped his belt around him, tightening them. He must have lost alot of weight in this month and a half long coma. Then he grabbed the t-shirt given to him and it was a black athetlic longsleeve with a beowolf skull on the front of it.
"Is this supposed to be a joke…whatever"zane thought as he put the shirt on over. It felt a little loose but he didn't mind. Then he looked at the last of the outfit as he slipped on everything else. As he was getting down he heard akasha voice.
"Hey you 're almost done there?"Akasha asked on the other side.
"Yeah…thanks for the new clothes by the way"zane said as he put his shoes on.
"No problem though pretty sure you didn't want to wear your old clothes they were torn to shred"akasha replied
Zane finally got his shoes on as he tapped his foot making sure it went in. Then he tied both laces and opened the curtain to leave.
He stepped out in a new outfit. He wore a pair of black faded jeans with his signiture belt. Along with that he wore black shoes that looked a little worn. For an undershirt he wore a longsleve that was black with a beowolf skull on it. But over it he wore a dark blue warrior leather jacket. It had a hood on the back of the jacket colored dark grey. There were breast pocket zippers and pockets on the side. The zippers were silver in color.
Akasha had some other stuff for him that seemed to be what remained of his armor. In her hands were some vambraces,greaves and some pouches. But she also had his signature bandana neatly placed on top of it.
"Here this is what left of your armor the rest of it was destroyed"akasha said
"No worries i'll get some new one"zane said as he grabbed it and starting to strap it on. He gripped the straps on his vambraces and greaves making sure they were tight. Then he looped his belt on his side pouches. Then their was his bandana, he grabbed it as he wrapped it around his neck.
Zane looked in a nearby mirror smiling a little to be fully clothed again.
"Well you look good…your little wolf and rabbit will love it"akasha playfully teased.
He raised an eyebrow at her when she mentioned she know onxyia or something, she talks like she knowns her like a close friend it seems. Though one of the people here looked familiar that wolf faunus guy but he cpuldn't quite place it.
"Oh and how do you know onxyia exactly?"zane asked as he crossed his arm.
"I'm a friend of hers along with a couple others. But one of them is very close to her, they would be blood related even"akasha replied as zane eyes went wide.
Her brother was in the white fang and she said how he was radio silent for a bit. Guess he was hiding out here for a while although he could guess which one he was. That wolf faunus who listed off his injuries early.
"Her brothers here….guess she'll be happy to see him again"he sadly replied because she might hate him now.
"so….I have an important question to ask you"akasha added with a serious tone.
Zane looked at her as he gentle nodded with a serious expression across his face.
Akasha sighed as she prepared for the worst case scenario of the anser she might get from him.
"Did onxyia make it out of the city and was she alive when you last saw her? '' Akasha asked with her gaze softened a little worried.
Zane nodded to her"I made sure to get her out of the city, she was hurt but physically she might be fine, mentally…not so much"zane replied with a sadden expression.
Akasha seemed a little relived to hear her friend was ok but she probably is hurt right now mentally. She thinks her boyfriend died and from that message he made for them. It probably hurt the girl pretty bad.
Akasha then walked over to zane as he looked at her. Then she slapped him across the face, he rubbed his face confused.
"Ow, what was that for?"zane asked rubbing his cheek.
"Thats for sending her that dumb video, seriously I've known the girl a while. Sending something like that will mess with her head"akasha growled
Zane sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck. The falcon faunus was right what he sent here probably hurt her. More improtnely he broke her heart probably along with smashing it to piece. But he was going to make it up to her, since velvet here she gonna be the first.
"Don't worry i'll make sure to go back to wolfie. I'll make it up to her…if I have to i'll wrestle an uras for her. Same thing for vel"zane replied
Akasha stay emotionless for a second but gave a small smile. "Good….i'll get you the uras if I have to. Now lets go see what news your friends have for you"Akasha said
Near the control panel yuma was looking it over and it wasn't looking that good. The entire thing short ciruited it seems, most of the parts here are soo old they probably don't make the parts here anymore. Along with that the gate being stuck.
Yumi had a flashlight in her mouth as she looked at it muttering with it in her mouth.
Though nebula couldn't exactly hear what the panda faunus was saying. She decided to help her since she knew a thing a two about fixing thing. Back home her dad taught her a few things since its all about survival at times in vacou.
"So panda ears what the problem?"nebula asked
Yumi said something but the flashlight garbled what she was didn't quite hear what she said. All she heard was muffled voices from the girl.
"Ummm what?"nebula replied as yumi stoof up and spat the flashlight out of her mouth. It was covered it spit and clanked to the ground.
"I said its shot, the ciruits are fried the cpacitators also fried. And the part needed for this probably aren't around here or are destroyed. "Yumi replied disappointed
Nebula sighed in disappointment on how exactly their going to get out of her exactly. They could take the streets but their group would get spotted instantly. But the tunnels back to romans safe house could work.
The tunnel may be the quickest way back to camp though.
"What do you suggest then?"nebula asked
"Don't known give me a few minutes to think of something"yumi replied trying to come up with a way to fix the gate controls.
Meanwhile Miyuki was packing some stuff up with carver close by. She was humming to herself as she grabbed some of the stuff she had on her. As she did she looked at a picture frame close to her bed. She picked it up looking at it.
It was her father and mother with her as a little kid. She smiled at it remembering her mother. She died of heart disease that was on her side of the family. Though she hopes she didn't get it though.
"Alright kid you ready to get out of this shit hole"carver asked strapping his pack on.
"yep…I can't wait to get some–"Miyuki began as they turned to see Naca standing their looking at them.
"Oh hey your that huntresses that was with the group…what are you doing here"carver qeustioned examining her.
Naca looked around making sure no one was around. Then she slowly split off herself as her clones made sure. The black and white one watched for anyone coming. While the blue one came toward the two.
She looked nervous and was wrapping her arms around herself.
"Your the winter maiden aren't you?"the clone asked as carver and miyuki eyes went wide. Carver then pulled out a knife ready to stab the girl. Miyuki got surprised by this as her eyes had a blue flame around them.
The clone was shocked by this as the other ones were as well.
"Why you here to kill her?"carver asked as a few more people came over. It was the other people in their village looking a the girl. Naca soon joined into one putting her hand's up.
"Whoa calm down i'm not with that witch, Ozpin asked me and my team to protect you"naca replied
The group looked at each other as the villagers that were with them slowly backed off to guard their area. While Miyuki and Carver looked at each other then at the girl.
"What do you mean by witch…what are you talking about?"Carver questioned as Miyuki tried to calm herself down.
"Go away dammit…come on…come on"Miyuki said trying to calm herself to deactivate her powers flaring up.
Naca looked at the girls plee and decided to help her out.
"Take a deep breath alright…in and out okay"naca suggested as miyuki did just that. She took one breath in then out a few times. The flames around her eyes died down as she stared at the girl.
"So what do you mean by protect me?"miyuki asked as naca began to explain thing to them. She explained how ozpin had her and her team sent to protect the winter and fall maiden. They failed in protecting the fall maiden but they could't find her.
"So wait your saying that the fairytail about the four seasonally maidens it true?"miyuki said still a little shocked.
"Yes and right now I need to protect you, do you know anyone else here you trust to share this information. Think carefully"naca suggested
Miyuki thought hard about that question because the only people she trusted are akasha, zane, xander, craver and no one else really.
"Why don't we discuss this later and regroup with everyone."miyuki suggested and naca agreed to wait to discuss this later.
Zane and Akasha soon walked down to meet the others as Zane waited for news about what happened to the others. As he walked over Coco looked at him while velvet eyed him cupped her chin as she motioned for him to give her a spin.
He relented, rolling his eyes as he did it then crossed his arms.
"Really are we doing a fashion show….want me to put a dress on"zane asked
"Ughhh no you would look terrible in a dress. Though yumi wouldn't mind seeing cardin in that maid dress maybe"coco replied
Cardin sat in a chair while he was drinking from his canteen. His eyes buldged out of his head as he spat the water on the ground. He began to cough a little as he pounded his chest.
"Hey shut up….that was..a long time ago"cardin said slightly blushing a little.
Akasha snorted a little along witha few others laughing at the boy. Zane did remember that he did smash his skull in and blackmailed onxyia. Though he shouldn't tell that with her little brother here.
"Umm hey I have a question real quick is my sister–"xander begun but zane stopped him.
"Pretty, drop dead gorgeous and alive yes"zane replied trying to get back to his old self. Though it was a little hard because he still felt guilt for what he did. It finally hit him that he killed someone. It was still a tough pill to swallow. But velvet blushed at that.
"Okay your right about that she cute"velvet said embrassed
Xander smiled a little as he finally figured out his sister fate. Although she probably thought he was dead or something. Cardin eyes went a little wide as he relzied who some of these faunus white fang members are.
His face could tell some of them he relized that if they figured out what he did before he would be dead. Though he did redeem his actions her little brother probably kill him or worse.
"Ok despite that, how is everyone, jaune takes pyrrha somewhere nice after they escape vale. They said they have a date after the tournament was over"zane asked
Everyone got silent for a bit as the students looked away from zane. Velvet ears flopped over as she looked at him with a sorrowful look. Coco looked down messing with her sleeves. While cardin crossed his arms looking down with a sadden expression. May just covered her eyes as she frowned.
Zane looked at their expression and he knew what that meant. That they lost alot of people during the attack.
"Look after the attack on Vale and Beacon, things didn't look great. The white fang attacked and the grimm invaded. Along with those dam knights taking out everyone mostly. The despardos and Atlas did their best. But alot of people and students didn't make it"May added as she looked sad.
Zane gulped silently but for some reason he was worried about his friends and teammates if they were okay.
"Is…their a list who were killed in the attack?"Zane questioned.
Velvet brought out her scroll and brought up an article about the people that were killed in the attack. She handed it to her possible ex as he read it.
Almos timmediatly looking at the list he noticed several people names that stuck out to first being tanner from team TPAZ. Rogue and Eria must be hurt losing their friend. Then he looked further down the list seeing that Cinder didn't make it either. But all of Naca team wasn't there either it seems. But team RWBY and JNPR seem to not be on the list. Along with his teammates not being there but he was presumed dead. Though he also noticed the member of cardin team being gone which was upsetting. Their was also yatsu and fox dead as well, it didn't really make him feel great right now hearing all the people who he then relzied he missed a name at the top of the list. He looked and his eyes sunk, Pyrrha nikos was at the top.
Zane's hands shook as velvet scroll fell to the clanked as velvet walked over picking it up with a worried look. He took a seat covering his head at what he was seeing. That Pyrrha was dead and Jaune probably hurt right now.
"No…no…dammit…jaune….im sorry"zane said out loud as he clutched his head.
Cardin sighed as he reached to put a hand on zane's shoulder but he threw his shoulder up.
"hey? are you alright?"Velvet asked concern looking at him as she hugged him as he layed his face on her shoulder
However he wasn't alright as he was trying hard not to get mad at himself but also cry his eyes out. Soon enough he looked up with tears on his face looking at them. He sniffed a little as he cried.
"No….but…guess my teammates made it out unscaved"zane said as cardin froze in place at the mention of that. He noticed this while studying the former bully. He narrowed his gaze at him wondering why he froze.
"What happened to my teammates?"zane demanded to know looking at him as he clenched his fist.
Cardin gulped nerovusly as he didn't want to tell him what happened to eria but he had the right to guy took a deep breath in for a bit before letting it out.
"Eria…she….she lost her leg during the fall. "Cardin said as zane eyes widden at the mention of this.
Then his face turned to anger as he clenched his fist"who did it"zane growled as his back moved a little. Velvet and Xander took notice of this as something moved under his back.
"Rosemary from team BRAS did it"cardin simply said.
Zane's eyes twitched as he took several deep breaths trying to calm himself. But he wasn't calm at all that entire team hurt his teammates. Scar makes him kill Penny, Rosemary taking his partner's sister's leg, then adder stabbing him in the gut.
Soon enough zane eyes glowed a little as he changed to his titan form. As he did he felt pain in his side wincing. But right now he didn't care he needed to let some aggression stood up silently as he walked over to the large metal gate.
While he did yumi and nebula were trying to figure out how to open the gate exactly. They tried to figure out maybe bringing the people back to the hideout. Then slowly bringing them over could work. But they shot that idea down.
"Dam what else can we do this thing is locked tight"yumi said
"Yeah we need a tank to–"nebula began as she saw zane approaching the large gate. They looked at him strangely as he walked toward it raising his fist. Then he cocked it back and with all his might he punched it.
Then he began punching is several times as loud bangs rang in the sewer. Yumi covered her ears along with some of the other faunus as it echoed. As he continued this creaking could be heard. Then he wound up one more punch before smacking the gate down.
Then it fell down with a large thud as he stood their seething in rage. The sound from the gate was so loud everyone heard that probably. He slowly turned to the other standing their looking at him. Zane took a deep breath and then relzied what he did.
"Crap….crap…crap…no..no…ummm guys you might wanna go"Zane said as nebula stared at him confused.
"Uhh why what you gonna go all monster or somethin"nebula joked as he stared at her as his titan mottled off his skin slowly. Zane was wide eyed at her with a worried expression.
Nebula studied his expression as she understood he was serious. She reached over her shoulder grabbing her crossbow. Then she aimed it at his head incase anything happened.
"Dammit not again… thought I got this under control"zane said to himself as he looked at his hands.
"Calm down kid…i'll help you out. Though you may need that dumb syringe you took"bane voice rang in his head.
Zane went wide eyed at hearing his voice again thinking he was gone. He wanted to talk out loud to him but then they all think he was crazy. His list of stuff he's done was already big.
"Wait…what…I thought you were gone?"zane thought to talk to bane.
"No, think of me as the voice in your head to provide guidance sometimes. Though i can hold off that monster side of you. You do get quite animal-like in that form"bane replied in his head.
Cardin soon relzied he had something with him and went through his he did he found what he was looking for. He produced the string eport found and he looked at zane.
"Yo grimm boy got this"cardin said as he walked over. Zane looked up at the syringe in his hands and was shocked. He wanted to ask where he got it but didn't care. Soon enough zane right arm changed a little. But he clenched his fist focusing to calm himself down.
Then cardin jabbed him in the neck as he pressed the button. Zane went wide eyed because its been a while since he had that. Then he grabbed the syringe tossing it as it clanked to the ground.
Zane cracked his neck as he looked at the destroyed gate. Trifa,yuma and liam came to see what that sound was. They saw the gate destroyed and they were a little confused. They were suppose to be opening the gate not destroy it.
"Ummm I thought you were opening the gate not destorying it"yuma asked looking at it.
"Well….had to releave some anger….but hey its open"zane replied presenting the open gate that was destoryed
"That it is alright everyone mount up and grab whatever you need. We follow the tunnel and then we can get you somewhere safe"liam ordered as the survivors and group started to grab what they can to make their way down the tunnel.
Before zane went down a women whistled to him. He turned to see a women who he's never seen before standing their.
"Ummm yah do I know you?"zane asked
Tia shook her head at him"no…but you may need a weapon if were going down their. Don't know what we'll run into down their"Tia said as she presented a holster. On the holster was a pair of semi automatic pistols. They were silver in color with some black lining it and they had tacitcal grips on it.
Zane examined them they weren't his usually revolvers but they'll do. He grabbed them holsteirng them and the women gave him some ammo. He smiled as he nodded to her thanking her.
But he looked at his hands for a bit as an image flashed with his hands covered in blood. He shook his head and they were normal again.
Then the group looked down the tunnel ready to make their way down the tunnel to head back to base camp. But zane had a nagging feeling something bad was coming their way and it wasn't going to be good.
It seems the group are on their way to the end of this so called escape tunnel so they can leave this city. Though zane heard what happened to his team and everyone they lost that day because of him. Though lets just see and hope they can survive this day.
