Chapter 17 Blue:Siege
An hour later Inside the command tent Nezumi, Tulip, an atlas captain left their along with glynda were talking. As they talked glynda looked around especially at the Atlas captain. He was starting to get on her nerves because he believed they should execute the young boy right now.
"In my opinion we execute him right now. He could be a spy for them"the atlas captain suggested
Nezumi sighed as this was another headache to deal with. She happy for vance but now he brought another problem for her. Though she'll let it slide because she fancys him.
"Look the kid doesnt seem dangerous, along with that reports say he wasn't in control of his actions. Also that girl wasn't human remember. Your little android probably is being rebuilt in atlas right now"nezumi retorted.
The atlas captain sighed"that may be true ma'am, but if he could be controlled it could happen again"he replied
Glynda seemed to have an idea it seems. Then she looked toward the others as they relzied she came up with something.
"Hmm if its mental suggestion, their are a few people here that have mind related semblance. We could put blocks on them to avoid it."glynda suggested.
The atlas captain was about to say something. But then he stopped himself because the women was right it seems. Then with a heavy sigh he looked at her.
"You may be right ma'am but what about the police station. When are we taking it back"he questioned.
Tulip stepped up as she still was grieving the loss of some of her men today. More came back before the others saying they lost three more. Which meant they were around sixty or so officer left.
"Look it may be smart to wait for a little longer to attack. All are men are exhausted i've lost several officiers due to the grimm in the city. We need to prepare before we begin an assault"tulip replied
Glynda nodded her head to this"yes, with our numbers right now we do stand strong against them. But we need to rest and make a plan of attack. If we went in blind they would probbaly swiftly cut us down."glynda added
The leader of this small camp had to come up with a plan of attack for taking back the police station.
Meanwhile in the medical tent xander was getting his leg looked over by Ross and Miss peach. She wore her usually attire but had on an apron that had some blood on it with some gloves. Along with a surgical mask on.
"Arlight sweetie this may hurt"she said as she produced some disinfected. Xander flinched a little because the women may look sweet. But right now she looked terrifying in her current getup.
His ears flopped over as he gulped"just…get it over with"xander said as ross and akasha laughed.
"Seriously your afraid of that kid, you were fine when we patched that kid up"ross said as he was examining some of the medical equipment. He might as well help out her since he is a licensed doctor actually.
"Hmm so your a prodigy in medicine. Hmm you remind me of a women I used to know"peach simply said.
Xander ears perked up a little at the mention of this"umm you wouldn't happen to know someone named katherine blair would you?"he asked as peach eyes lit up a little.
"Oh your katherine boy aren't you oh thats wonderful. Me and her used to be partners in a medical class we took together"peach seqeueeled a little excited. She accidentally put too much disinfectant on Xander ankle.
He flicnehd a little because it felt like piece of hot coal were on his leg kind of. Xander took a deep breath as he tried not to scream but akasha shook her head.
"Come on deal with the pain after this were heading back to menagerie. Someone will be happy to see you their again I bet"Akasha teased with xander smiling.
"Yeah sis will be happy to see me again. Though what will happen to that zane guy?"xander asked
Peach was beginning to put some ointment on xander ankle and it felt like heaven when she put it on him. Then she slowly undid a banaged when she wrapped around him.
"Hmm probably back to Atlas, Ironwood said if any of them found. Especially his bodie the soldiers are insturcted to return him their. If they found his bodie they were to do an autopsie to see what makes the knight ticks"she simply said as she finished bandaging his ankle.
The three stared at her a little stunned at what they heard. But why would she exactly tell them that.
"Umm what?Xander asked dumbfounded
"Yeah what the heck your guy killed someone but it was that dumb little robot"akasha said
But Zane still doens't know that because she moved around like an actually person. Peach sighed a little as she sat down.
"Look its not my orders, though if he's under mental suggestion. Their are people with mind related semblance to block those mental suggestions' 'peach said.
The two faunus looked at each other a little worried it seems. But they wondered what they were going to do now. How where they getting back home.
On the ground zane tried to get some sleep. But he tossed and turned as he was having another nightmare. He sweetened like crazy in their because he could barely breath.
"No…no…i'm sorry….penny"zane muttered as he tossed and turned.
Zane was back in his mind as he was dreaming. He was in the middle of his match with penny as he was beating her. As it continued he swung his katana remorse at her. She launched several swords at him as he blocked them.
Then he flipped over some ready to fight her but then he saw something. Her dead in the arms of him in his slasher forrm. Their he stood staring at her as zane flinched a little watching this. He shook a little as he dropped his swords to the ground.
The scene then changed again to see him standing infront of his teammates. He smiled as he tried to say something but a flash of light happened. As it did each off them disappeared from his point of view.
"Wait where are you going?"he questioned.
Then another flash happened as he opened his eyes in horror. Their he was standing over his teammates dead bodies in his monster form. He had blood on his mouth and eria and rogue layed their bloodied and batter. While he held onxyia in his hand as she laid limp in his arms.
Zane shook his head as he soon awoke screaming at the top of his eyes bulged out of his head.
He took several rapid breaths as he looked to where he was. Then he felt his chest and side then face repeatedly. He let out a sigh of relief as he sat their covered in sweet.
"Fricking nightmares"zane said to himself.
"Tell me about it cousin"a voice said above him as he was confused. Then he looked to see vance their waving to him smiling. Zane returned the wave as he stared at the wall beside him.
"So….are you okay?"vance asked a little worried it seems.
Zane looked at him as he wrapped his arms around his knees. He had a sadden expression as he buried his face into his knees.
"Honeslty no…i'm scared right now still. I thought I solved this while I was in that coma since I had time to think. But i'm scared I may be control again and hurt my teammate and friends"zane replied casually.
He felt like he could trust Vance a little. Vance looked at him worried as he looked around for a bit. Then he dug through his pocket as he produced a lock pick. He began picking the lock but zane stood up stoping him.
"Vance stop this is for everyone safety"zane told him simply.
"Hell no their sending you to Atlas to be experimented on. Plus auntie needs to see you shes probably heart broken. She thinks your dead again"vance retorted as zane recoiled a little.
He was right that his mom did probably miss him. But at the same time he should stay locked up for sighed as he moved vance hand away form the lock. He pushed his hands back as vance and him kept doing this back and forth.
"Man this guy is persistent"bane said in his head appearing again.
Zane groaned talking out loud"god not now bane"he said as zane eyes went wide. Vance looked at his cousin for a second thinking he went crazy. Did he have an imaginary friend or something.
"Umm who are you talking to?'he asked confused because no one else was their.
"No one…just…uh myself"zane replied trying to keep a straight face.
"Kid just tell him to read your mind. Maybe he can help with those mental suggestion of yours"bane suggested.
Zane sighed as he started to talk outloud to bane again"Really…hmmm that could work"he said as vance stared at him confused.
"Ok did you go crazy while you were passed out"vance replied
Zane shook his head"here read my mind and talk to a friend"zane said but vance seemed to hesitate as first. Then he sighed as he used his semblance to talk to zane in his head and read his mind.
"Ok whats up do you have an imaginary friend or something"vance spoke in zane mind.
"No I wouldn't call myself imgainery more like a friend"bane replied as vance looked confused at zane. He heard another voice that sound similar to his cousin but was more smooth it seems.
"Ughh okay that wasn't you was it?'he asked
"Nope meet bane apparently the grimm side of me"zane joked as bane groaned in his head a little.
"Kid let me talk to him in real life give me control real quick"bane asked
"Uhh no you seem fine with talking through my head. I trust you but not fully still your so mysterious man"zane said outloud.
"Look kid their is–"bane begun but then a loud bang went off above them. Zane and vance looked toward the sky as night seemed to be setting now. A large orange fiery explosion was seen in the sky.
They looked at each other as zane thought for a moment before nodding to him. Vance then pulled out his pistol as he shot the lock open. He offered his cousin a hand as he left his homemade jail cell.
As the two got up glynda was already on her way to release him it seems with tulip in co. But once they got their they saw the two leaving the makeshift cell. They looked at her for a second before zane chuckled nervously.
"Its not what you think teach"zane said but it was exactly what it seems. He was breaking out of jail.
Glynda narrowed her gaze at them crossing her arms with her crop in hand"really seems you two are breaking out of jail. Although we convinced the atlas captain incharge here to try something with you. We were coming to get you but right now we need to focus"glynda said in a serious tone.
"Yes right now hassan is attacking again. We need all the help we can get go grab some weapons and group up. Prepare for an attack"tulip ordered.
Zane was a little shocked to hear that guy being here. Then he looked around as he heard several people shouting around the place. He looked at vance who looked at him. They both nodded toward each other as they rushed into the camp.
As they did huntsman, huntresses, despardos, atlas soldier and several others were running around. They all were screaming and shouting orders at each other.
"Defend the wall if they get through they'll swarm us!"a huntsman ordered
"Get the civilians somehwere safe now!"An Atlas soilder ordered
"Yes sir!" three soldier responded as they rounded up some of the survivors from the safehouse.
The two ran through the camp as they did they were joined by cardin, jae, naca and miyuki. They all were coming out of the mess hall running toward the wall.
"Hey your out of jail how was prison?"cardin asked
"Not now focus winchester"zane replied serious as he ran toward the armory. Cardin was a little impressed how he was all serious all of a sudden. Several gunshots could be heard as they ran toward the armory to gear up.
"Crap Miyuki stay down or–"naca shouted
"No i'm getting revenge against that bastard. He ran the faiclity we were housed at"Miyuki retorted as she rushed over toward the armory grabbing a rifle from a rack then running toward the wall.
Naca sighed as the girl was going to get herself and cardin already had their gear but grabbed some spare ammo to join the Zane eyed the weaponsmiths behind the counter smiling to see them here.
As they did DJ and Mulberry were handing weapons and ammo to several soilders. The two kept doing this until zane slide over the counter. Mulberry looked at the boy in ange. But then he stared in disbelief at him.
"What the?! Your alive"mulberry shotued as DJ glanced behind him. Their he saw zane as he grabbed the semi automatic pistols along with a pouch and holsters. He began strapping them on as DJ stopped to help him.
Zane looked at the gunsmith who smiled at him and zane nodded toward helped strapped the pouch on while he loaded his pistols.
"Thanks for letting me borrow those weapons DJ though I gotta borrow from you again"zane replied
DJ chuckled a little"no problem kid….here try these. They seem to be to your taste"DJ said as he grabbed some blades from a nearby weaponsmith presented a pair of blades in their sheaths. Zane grabbed them as he studied them. Then he unsheathed them to reveal a pair of kodachi blades medium in length.
The handle were blue mixed with white laces on it. The blade was silver in color and their was a button on the hilt.
"Whats the button do?"Zane asked curiously what this man cooked up now.
"Press it and put them together"DJ said as he started to hand weapons to the soidler.
Zane did just that as two slots opened untneath the handle end and two progs appeared on one of them. Zane then put them together as they formed a sword staff. He smiled as he nodded DJ thanking him.
Then he slide back over joining vance as the two rushed to the wall to defend it. Several people were mounting up against the wall for whatever attack was coming.
Meanwhile in the medical tent xander was looking around confused at what was going on. As he did someone soon lifted him up. He was caught off guard by this as he stared at who did it. Their holding him was Tia along with akasha watching her back.
"What the Akasha, Tia? Whats–"he begun but a loud explosion went off as he covered his ears. It hurt like hell and it seemed other faunus in the camp might have covered their ears.
"Not now were going somewhere safe right now. The soldier can handle this"tia said as they ran toward the end of the camp. As they did Port along with Faba where motioing for those unable to fight head down the docks.
"Come now everyone this way. You'll be safe"port said as he moved his arm motioing for them to hurry.
The people who were injured who couldn't fight ran down the docks. They were led to a small dock as a ship could be seen coming toward them in the distance. As the ship made their way over to them a large cawing noise could be heard.
Then in the skies a large nevermore flew above them and flicked it wings at the ship. Several feathered pierced the small vessel. Then a small fire could be seen on it before it exploded into a ball of fire.
"Dammit they took the ship out"faba said not exactly liking their situation.
Port had to think of something right now as the large bird came toward them. He readied himself along with faba at the grimm flying toward them. As it did a purple beam came above them toward them. It hit the bird in the head stunning it then a second shot rang out piericng it skull.
They looked to see May and Leon standing their with their sniper pointed at the beast. Faba laughed a little as his dead eye of a friend. Port smiled at the two nodding.
"Nice shot kid…but i'm better"leon complimented but bantered with her.
"Lucky shot is all old man. We got more coming from the east"may pointed out some griffin coming in as she raised her rifle shooting at them along with leon.
Near the barracks area Nebula, Gwen and Opehlia along with some others covered their heads. A large blast was above them as they covered their head from debris. Nebula looked up as the whole place was in chaos.
"So much for a simple field trip"opehlia said outloud since she could barely hear anything over the gunfire.
"Hey you don't have enhanced hearing this is hell"yumi added coverirng her ears.
Nebula looked around at the soldiers and huntsman defending the wall firing at the street. Then she noticed flying grimm in the sky dive bombing them.
"Dammit alright we gota guard the civillians here along providing support as best we can. Yumi and Earl you go do that. "She ordered as the two nodded racing over their.
"Alright opehlia and coco you go help out at the wall"she ordered
"Kid next time you tell me what to do i'll sock you in the face. But this time i'll let it slide for now"coco said as they rushed over to the wall.
"What about the rest of us?"gwen questioned her girlfriend.
"We prepare for any grimm that may breach the wall alright"nebula replied as they understood and started to run around the camp grabbing some stuff. Along with helping any injured and carrying them out of the way.
Zane climbed up some makeshift stairs as he slipped a little. But he caught himself as he got up their and covered his eyes from a large explosion. He opened his eyes looking at what he was seeing.
Several soldiers firing at their base along with grimm charging at them. This seems like a full on assault how did they defend agaisnt something like this before. Then he heard loud gunfire and he looked toward the end of the wall.
Their were Atlesian turret shooting at the grimm with blue beams of energy. Along the wall several flamethrowers went off from some soldier.
"Guess we got a barbecue"zane joked as he laughed then he was pulled down to the ground. He looked at vance who covered his ears from all the loud gunfire. He must be hearing something completely different right now.
He saw how soldiers were getting taken out slowly on the wall. Then he lifted his arm over firing several shots from cover. As he did Miyuki lifted her arms over cover firing several shots toward the approaching hoard of grimm.
"Arghh die you monster"she screamed as naca was close by. She roundhouse kicked a grimm that was climbing the wall as a small of rubble stuck to the side of their makeshift wall. But she looked at miyuki who eyes were covered in flames as she let her emotion out of control.
"Dammit miyuki calm down right now you eyes"naca said as she grabbed the gril.
Miyuki puhsed her off her as she kept firing more shots from her rifle peaking from cover. Naca tried to make sure they avoided her getting found out as the winter maiden. But nearby glynda saw her flame eyes and was stunned.
She narrowed her gaze as she waived her crop and activated her semblance. Then miyuki was covered by a purple like haze and was pulled back down below. Naca looked shocked looking toward where she went.
Naca looked at gynda waiving her crop and grabbing miyuki. She struggled in the womens grip as Naca jumped from the platform she was on. Then she ran over ready to fight the teacher as glynda let her go staring at her eye.
"What ever your name is girl you need to get to cover now!"she ordered
"no…I need to get that bastard hassan"miyuki retorted.
Glynda sighed at as she looked at a nearby dead atlas soilder. Then she knelt down taking his helmet off. As she did the man layed their dead on the ground. Then glynda put it over miyuki head hiding her came over looking at glynda who remembered her.
She was ozpin assistant and someone she could trust.
"Miss vincent good to see you again. Take our winter maiden somewhere safe now"glynda ordered as Naca nodded to her. She did just that as she dragged miyuki somewhere safe. As she did miyuki wanted to break free from her grip.
Back on the wall Coco was firing her minigun as she activated her semblance to amplify her bullets. As the barrel winded up the muzzle flash lit bright red as a stream of bullets came at the approaching grimm. She smiled as she kept firing.
Opehlia fired off some shot from her rifle using her sheild as a rifle shield. It was see through on her end as she fired shot after shot at the grimm. Then a barrage of bullet whizzed by her as she ducked for cover.
"These guy are relentless"opehlia said as she fried off more shots.
"Lets just hope we can deal with them quickly"coco add as they continued to shoot more.
Soidler kept firing a stream of bullets at the grimm. One saw something coming toward him as a spear was thrown into his head. He fell back to the ground dead as a spear was louged into his head. Velvet was close by and closed her eyes as she helped Dew carrie an injured soilder out of the way.
Zane ducked his head as cardin and vance were close by. Zane peeked out as more bullet whizzed past them. Then soon enough a horn went off. Soon enough it started to get quiet for some reason. Which was strange, the three slowly peaked over to see what was happening.
Nezumi was near the wall as she peaked over to see something that shook her. Their infront of a row of armroed cars. Along with probably fifty to sixty soldier was hassan. He had a megaphone in his hands. Near him were five people with bags over their heads.
"Greeting huntsman and huntress, soldiers of atlas and despardos"hassan said into his megaphone phone as it echoed his voice.
"I have a request that may let you all live today"hassan added his voice echoing.
Nezumi stood up looking at the leader of the slaver gang with a glare.
"Really you negotiating that doens't seem like your style hassan!"she shouted.
Hassan laughed a little while diego stood on his sabyr smiling. He had no more spear in his hands as he crossed his arms. Then hassan moved out of the way motioing for them to remove the bag on the people heads.
The soldier behind them did and they slowly removed each of them. As they did four people who they didn't know were their. But miyuki was hiding behind a wall with Naca. She peeked out a little as she stared over at the people.
Her eyes lit up as she stared through the atlas helmet. Naca tried to pull the girl back but she was fighting her. Their in a white patient gown was a girl with brown hair that was long with a pair of bear faunus ears was skin was pale and she seemed maybe seventeen or eighteen. Along with one of them having been clipped it seems. Her eyes were green and she looked tired.
"Dang it girl get to–"naca began but miyuki stopped her.
"Shut up that my friend over their"miyuki retorted
Naca looked at her questioning her while Jae was next to them taking cover. She eye miyuki until it hit her like a truck.
"Wait that piper girl sister?"jae aksed shocked a little remembering what she meant by that.
Miyuki shook her head as she seemed a little glad to see her alive. But now was worried what that bastard hassan was going to do to her.
Zane peaked over the edge looking at the hostage and examined them. All of them looked to be test subjects from watts experiments. Which meant he transported them here for a reason.
Nezumi along with tulip who joined her on the wall looked at the hostages. But she also relzied one of the people in the group was dylan. He was badly beaten as his face was bruised and bloody. He smiled at the group it seems showing his few remaining teeth.
Liam stared at the old soldier gripping his rifle"those damn bastards…they'll pay"liam said readied to rush over the wall but someone pulled him down. He looked to see trifia their putting a hand up to him.
"Don't rush in idiot, he want you to. It a scare tactic, he using hostages a bargaining chip it seems"trifia said as liam glared at her. But he scoffed as he got back up waiting to see what happens.
"Alright you have hostages so what!"nezumi replied not caring exactly but she did care. One of her soldier were out their.
Hassan smiled as he motioned for a soldier to kill one of them. They nodded as he riased his pistol to one of the hostage in white clothing head. Then with a pull of a trigger he shot him dead.
A shot rang out as he fell over dead to the ground. Everyone looked at him with shocked and confusion at what he was doing.
"Now I have a request for all of you and your going to listen!"he shouted through the megaphone.
Tulip raised an eyebrow at nezumi on what this mad man exactly wanted. The two looked at each other before nodding.
"What do you want!?"nezumi shotued back.
The grimm stood on stand by as they waited for what to be told it seems. Diego seemed to be holding them at bay it seems.
"I want you to leave along with handing over the bodie of subject omega!"he shouted.
Zane went wide eyed at the mention of this. Cardin looked at him along with vance.
"Wait…he after me?"zane said
Nezumi looked a little confused but thought of something it seems.
"Really that all what if we don't even have it!"she shouted.
Hassan sighed as he brought the megaphone up"If you don't then these hostages die"hassan said nodding to another soldier. He pulled a trigger as another hostage fell to the ground.
Miyuki flinched hoping that wasn't eden as she covered her mouth scared. Naca noticed this and was worried if he knew about miyuki being the winter maiden.
Nezumi sighed as she looked at tulip then zane a little bit away. He looked at her as he was contemplating his next action. Then he nodded to her as she nodded back.
"Alright if we do have his bodie send the hostages over now first!"nezumi shouted she knew their was another angle this guy was playing but she went along with it.
"Hmm so you have the traditors bodie….send it out now then!"diego said taking the megaphone from hassan. Hassan glared at him before he motioined another soldier to kill another hostage. He did and all that left was Eden and Dylan.
Nezumi growled at him because he was heartless. Zane was contemplating thing and he was about to get out of cover but vance stopped him .He pulled him down looking at him scared.
"cousin, don't he'll kill you maybe"vance said with worrie in his voice.
That was a possible option but he could't stand seeing someone die because of him. Then he noticed something in vance breast pocket. He smiled as vance noitced this. Then he seemed to understand what he meant by that.
Nezumi crouch walked over joining the two and with a heavy sigh.
"Kid, I got a favor ask of you"Nezumi asked with regret in her voice.
"Go out there and save some hostages. Gladly I got a plan"zane said in confidence as he holstered his weapons. Cardin and nezumi looked at him wondering what he was planning.
"What are you talking about man?"cardin questioned looking at him.
Before zane did anything he took a deep breath. Then his eye color changed to crimson red. He looked at the people around him. Then he gave a small smile to the group.
"Hmm don't worry when I give the signal just make sure to watch my back"Bane said calmly as he stood up.
"Uhh what the heck was that?"cardin asked as the two faunus shrugged their shoulder.
Hassan watched as someone dropped down with their hood on over their head with a bandana on over their face walk over. As he did he had his hand in his pocket as he began walking over. Hassan studied him for a second then laughed a little relizing who it was.
"Well well subject omega you're alive it seems. Now be a good dog and come back to your master"Hassan said.
Bane just chuckled as he put his hands behind his back staring at the two. Diego looked a little closer as he relzied something and smiled.
"Brother you finally took over that meat sack. Finally now come join–"diego began but bane put a finger up.
"No, no first release the hostages and return them to the others. Then I will gladly go with you"bane said calmy wagging it at him.
Diego laugh as he got off his mount before walking over to dylan. Then he raised his claws to the man throat. He had a gag in his mouth and as this happened most of the despardos watched in horror as what happened next.
Diego slowly dragged his claws over dylan neck as blood gushed from his neck. His throat was slit open as the flesh tore making a wet started to choke on his blood coming from his neck. He slowly fell down to the ground as he layed their dying choking on his blood.
A small pool of blood start to pool from him as Bane looked at him glaring.
Nezumi looked over as she stared at the grimm hybrid. Tears began to stream down her face as she raised her shotgun in anger about to pull the trigger. But then Bane put his hand up knowing what she was doing it seems. She gripped her shotgun hard and punched the wall hard. Her knuckles blister over as she shook.
"Now now brother that wasn't part of the deal"bane said annoyed that he killed the man.
"Hmmm one person for one hostage seems fair to me"Diego replied as he went to eden next. He was ready to slice her throat as he raised his claws to her throat. In the base miyuki eyes started to glow again with flame around them.
"No,no i'm not losing another friend again today"miyuki said as she tore off the atlas helmet and started to walk behind her cover. As she did naca tried to stop her but miyuki turned to her as she summoned a small blizzard knocking her hit some crates as she groaned rubbing her back.
Everyone in the camp stood their stunned at what they were seeing. Soon enough it started to snow. Velvet put her hand up looking at it start to snow right now. Several clouds were in the air and everyone was confused. It rained down snow on their camp as the streets became slightly covered in snow.
Hassan was confused as well was diego who removed his claw from eden throat. Bane was confused but zane spoke to him in the back of his head.
"Bane give me control again I know that girl"Zane said to Bane in their head.
"Hmm fine but stick to the plan kid"bane said to himself in his head. Then zanes eye changed to dark blue as he looked at hassan. Then he removed his hood and pulled his bandana smiling at him.
"Oh man hassan how long has it been, what a few months. You look prettier than last time did you did something with your hair?"Zane asked smugly.
Hassan growled as he covered his eyepatch"punishment for failing to capture you. But once I bring you back my mistresses and boss will be happy,"hassan replied as zane stared at him.
"You mean that witch"zane replied smiling in confidence as diego and hassan stared at him.
"Oh so you know of our queen…come now brother and fight with us again. We miss you"diego asked ready to stab Eden throat again. The girl quivered a little as muffle screams could be heard but they sounded weak.

Hassan then relzied something but zane didn't. Then he smiled as he motioned for diego to do what the kid says. Diego stood back as he pushed eden to the ground forward toward zane. Zane walked forward to the girl and he relzied where he saw her before. Piper sister and miyuki friend, he smiled a little.
"Go run over their and find your friend. I got this and piper says hi"zane whispered to eden who went wide eyed. Then she slowly got up as she limped over. Zane watch her run back to the gate. Someone threw down a ladder as the girl climbed up.
Once she was over, Miyuki rushed over to her embracing the girl who weakly stood collapsed into miyuki arms tired it seems.
"Eden! You alive thank remnant"she said, holding her crying. The girl was barely conscious as she looked to be malnourished and was beaten badly. Her entire body looked like she was a skeleton and their were some bruises on her arms and face.
Soon Ross came running over to the two. He looked at the girl before grabbing her to bring her somewhere safe. Miyuki was about to head over until she relzied that it started to snow.
She looked up to the sky looking at the large strom cloud in the sky and relized it was her. Soon enough she felt a hand on her shoulder and she looked up to see glynda their staring at her.
"Calm down dear we need to make sure they don't know you're the winter maiden. "Glynda stated wisely.
Back with zane once he saw eden get to the wall he smiled at hassan. Then he dug through his pocket as he produced a vial. Before hassan said anything zane stabbed himself in the neck. Then once the liquid was inside him he morphed to his titan form cracking his knuckles.
"Alright thank you now then time for some much needed payback"zane said getting in a boxing stance.
Hassan laughed a little at this"really your trying to double cross me alright commence plan C"he yelled as zane stared at him.A soldier said something into a radio and looked forward. Then from the side streets the humming of cars could be heard. Zane looked to see two cars speeding down the streets.
They were going so fast they looked like they didn't care about their lives. The people at the wall readied their weapons aiming at the cars coming toward them. The cars sped up as a few of them took pot shots at the cars. But a stray bullet hit one as it blew up.
Alot of people where shocked until nezumi relized something. Their sucide bombers and she got worried.
"Take that car out–"nezumi began shouting but then from the left side of the wall an explosion went off. Then several piece of debris and rubble went everywhere. A few soldier flew into the air as they screamed. Then the soldier started to advance more as the girmm moved in.
Gun fire started again as zane stood their shock then a goliath charged into him tossing him back to the base. He was sent flying as he landed near the wall. He rubbed his head a little at what just happened.
"Oh c'mon….seriously, eh should have known he was a no good scoundrel"zane said to himself as he got up. Several grimm and a few soldier were advancing on the base and getting in it seems. A few grimm got in as the soldier, huntsman and huntresses were fighting them back.
Cardin smacked one away with his mace then another. Their were too many to count at this point. Velvet sliced through one with crescent rose and looked for coco. She looked for her since she was on that followed her slaying grimm next to the bunny faunus.
"Coco!"she shouted as she looked for her leader. She kept screaming this running around near the area slicing through grimm and knocking back soldier. She sliced off one beowolf head twirling the scythe. Then she delivered a swift kick to ones skull knocking him to the side.
As she kept running she could hear coughing coming from close by. She frantically looked as she saw coco standing their coughing holding her left arm. It appeared to be broken judging by a small bit of bone sticking out of her left forearm.
Next to her was ophelia who covered her mouth a little from the smoke. She leaned against the wall as she fired shots at the grimm behind rushed forward toward the two with worry.
"Oh no..no..no please be okay..please"Velvet begged as she pulled coco face toward her. She moved it around little checking her injuries. Along with her pulse that she smiled a little reassuring the girl.
"I'm good bun…though watch out"Coco warned as velvet turned to see a sabyr coming toward her. She prepared herself to face the grimm but from the side cardin came in tackling it to the side into a metal piece of debris. He looked at the two as he grabbed ophelia and velvet grabbed coco.
The two began to walk through the base somewhere safe to escape the chaos. As they did diego jumped over on the wall smiling. A few soldier rushed at him with rifles or swords. One swung a sword at him as he swiftly kicked him down. Then he crubstomped him as the soldier coughed blood.
Then another came at him as he grabbed his wrist and snapped it. Then jammed the broken bone sticking out into the man's face. He fell down dead as diego threw him to the last one fired some pistol shots at him as Diego rushed foward grabbing him. Then he tore out the man's throat, spitting it to the ground.
After he jumped down dealing with the soilder and huntsman through the camp. Oobleck raised his thermos as he shot down girmm with it. Port was with him as he slashed at a grimm chopping it down.
"Bravo-ho my friend keep it up"port said to oobleck as he dispatched another grimm.
"Indeed but stay focused their are alot of them"oobleck added as he shot down another with thermos.
Meanwhile, Zane slowly got up as he shook his head. Then hassan walked over kicking him as zane armor molted off. He didn't have that much energy and could't stay in it long. But he clutched his side breathing looking at the man.
"You should have listened kid now everyone gotta die and it your fault"hassan said smiling at him.
Zane stood up glaring at him as he got in a boxing stance against the man. Hassan snorted a little before spiting to the side. He did the same thing as the two were readied to duke it out. Hassan moved in right hooking zane. But he blocked him with his forearms.
Then zane lifted his right leg kiciking hassan in the side. The man barely felt it and elbow dropped zane knee. His aura took it but that hurt like hell. Zane pushed him back as he started to deliver several kicks and punches to the man.
As he did, Hassan blocked each one with ease and then pushed zane back with a headbutt. Zane stumbled backwards as he rubbed his head. Then he grabbed him by the shoulder pulling him down and kicked zane in the gut. Zane gasped as he did that and Hassan spun him around throwing him.
Meanwhile Diego was going through the camp slaughtering everyone. He grabbed a familiar despardo with a biking hairstyle. Liam was getting choked out by the man and he grabbed a side arm. Then he dumped an entire mag in diego siide. The creature flicnhed a little but he smiled.
Then he squeezed hard enough liams neck. As he did the life from liams eye could be seen draining away. As it did his eyes slowly closed as soon enough a loud crack could be heard. Liams eyes went lifeless as diego dropped the man dead to the ground.
Nezumi saw two of her soldiers and freinds just die. She growled as she aimed her drum mag shotgun dubbed talon and fired several fire and ice dust rounds into him. As she did diego bodie slowly caught on fire along with ice surrounded him.
"Ha foolish girl you'll die here just like the other ''he excalimed proudly lifitng his claws in the air.
As he kept moving forward soon enough a pair of webbing was launched into Diego's body. He was surprised as was nezumi. She looked over to see trifia fiirng some webs at the man. Diego smield a little as he was about to pull on it. But then a rope dart was thrown into his arm.
Above vance jumped down tucking and rolling. He nodded toward trifia who nodded back. She and him ran in different direction around deigo who looked a little confused. Then nezumi understood what they were doing. She pulled off her gloves to reveal a pair of web like sacs on her wrist.
Then she fired them onto diego as she began doing the same thing. The three did this for a bit as diego was trying to break the web. But a set of knifes were thrown into him. They stopped him for a moment distracting him.
Gwen smiled as she kept throiwng knives at him and at some grimm. She threw three into a sabyr coming to diegos aid. Then she threw one at a soldier that blew up covering him in ice. Nebula shot some crossbow bolts at diego along with firing at a griffin in the air. It was carrying someone and she shot it down as they fell down to the ground safely.
Soon enough vance, trifia and nezumi began pulling on diego with their respect rope or webbing. The man was trapped as he sat their growling at them like an animal. The grimm were slowly dying down miyuki seemed to freezing over the wall right now. Her eyes had flames on them as she focused.
Glynda along with tulip were watching the girls back. Glynda lifted some debris with her semblance throwing it at a beowulf launching it in the air. Tulip aimed her rifle firing shot into it killing it.
Naca was busy killing grimm as she sliced one with her tonfa. Then she sprayed her uzi toward another. Then a crimson talon soldier came rushing in at her but she blocked it. Then she swiftly kicked him to the ground.
Then she looked over at the other holding diego down it seems. She was about to rush over as she looked at miyuki freezing the wall over. Miyuki grunted a little as she tried to focus doing this. She wasn't getting tired but it was hard to do this. She only done it a few times.
"Go i'll protect her!"glynda shouted to the vacou girl. She nodded as she sheatehd her tonfa and holster her uzi. Then she rushed over splitting off into her three clones. Then one grabbed vance rope dart, another helped trifia pull her web, while the third helped nezumi.
Diego growled at them trying to break free but they kept shooting at him to district the grimm hybrid. Gwen rushed over to vance helping him pull his rope dart. Dew went to helped trifia. While some other soldier jumped in helping them.
They began pulling as Vance grunted saying something"breast pocket….inject it into him…it could stun him '' Vance said inbetween heard him and looked in his breast pocket at the syringes. She reached in grabbing one as she jumped over. Diego growled trying to break free but soon the girl jumped onto his back. She put the syringe against his neck and injected it.
Soon diego stopped moving as he dropped to his knee. While this was going on they were slowly dealing with the remainder of the crimson talon and grimm. But diego stood their as his bodie started to shake a little.
Then he held his mouth as he puked black liquid from his mouth. As he did people looked at him as they advanced on him to finish him off. The syabr grimm knight looked at the group and smiled a little. Then he began crying a little.
"Do–it…kill me….hurry before… it takes control …again…please"he begged them with tears in his eyes. The sabertooh faunus grimm hybrid face seemed to be filled with regret.
The group stopped for a moment but then nezumi walked over with her drum shotgun. Then she raised it to the grimm hybrids head. She pulled the trigger as she dumped several rounds into him,
She held her trigger down for a while as she dumped several shells into the hybrid. Soon enough after a bit of time their were several clicks as nezumi stood over him. The upper half of the grimm hybrid was gone. All that was left was his skeleton along with his organs sort of. They were covered in black webs like memrbanes and black tendrils and some strange creature on his spine.
But soon enough the creature started to turn into smoke as all that was left was his skelton. Nezumi fell to her knees tired as vance caught her. She started to cry while looking at liam dead bodie their. She buried herself into vance arms as he stared at liam.
Miyuki finally got the ice wall done and stood their looking at it. Then she took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. The flames around them died done as she looked around. The entire place was in chaos and bodies litered the place.
But they won it seems and she looked around sitting down relaxing a little. The soldier started to get rid of the remaining grimm and capture any soilder who were left.
In the front Hassan walked over to zane kicking him while he was on his side. Zane hit the wall as he groaned in pain a little. Seems he might have broken his rib again, why are the ribs always the bones that he breaks? Hassan start to laugh as he gloated at the grimm hybrid.
"Oh man this rich you get to watch everyone die. Hey didn't you date that dumb wolf when we first met?"Hassan smuggly aksed looking over Zane. Zane eyes widen at the mention of her and he clenched his fist.
He slowly raised his head at him growling in anger, staring at him. Hassan had a smug expression on his face. Then he began to kneel down getting into zane face. He wanted to punch him but he was in pain.
"Wanna know something heard in Menagerie their planning to fight back against the White Fang. But guess what Conri going over there and he'll probably kill all of them. Including your girl, she'll be dead and you can do nothing about it."Hassan said proudly mocking him
"Why are you telling me this?'zane questioned, glaring at him. What exactly doe he have to gain by doing this.
"Because i've won and their nothing you can—"Hassan began his monologue speech as a large gust of snow or ice it seems passed by him. It covered his entire bodie except for his head as he stared in shock.
Zane looked to his side and smiled looking at Dew whos spear was glowing a light shade of blue at the end. Dew looked over giving him a gentle nodd.
Then from the side vance along with cardin ran out from the hole in the base. Cardin rushed over grabbing zane by his right helping him up. While Vance was behind helping support his cousin. The two helped him up and support him.
"Ughhh thanks dammit….I broke another rib…why is always the ribs?"zane questioned not exactly might as well make it a game on if he could break all his ribs. Maybe he can win a prize or something.
"Maybe you're just unlucky…or they like going for the ribs?"vance suggested as his ears twitched a little.
But then zane looked at hassan for a second before pulling himself off cardin and vance. He stared at the mercenary leader then at his fist. Zane lifted his arm for a second cracking his right knuckle.
Then with his remaining strength he wound up his fist right hooking Hassan across the face. The man grunted as a bit of blood came from his mouth. Then he spat out a tooth to the grunted in slight pain as zane fell backward into cardin and vance.
"That's for threatening wolfie…. asshole ''zane said, sighing as he felt it was worth it socking that bastard across the face.
"Well today I think we scored a victory for Vale"cardin profoundly stated.
"Yeah and right now we all deserve a break. I'm exhausted"Dew added, walking over with nebula. Gwen came down walking toward the group with glynda, nezumi and tulip behind them.
"Same here though we lost alot of good people"nebula pointed out looking around them. Their were some dead around and they all looked sad at this.
"Don't worry i'll make sure all of them are given proper burials"tulip replied reassuring the group.
"Yes, today we dealt a major blow to the enemy today. With their leader captured they won't be able to coordinate with each other. It may still be a while but we'll take our city back someday"glynda said.
Hassan began to laugh as the group looked at each other a little confused. He kept laughing as he opened his mouth. Then he clacked his teeth shut as a cracking noise could be heardIt sounded like a dust crystal being broken or glass. Then his entire body erupted into flames.

Everyone backed up as hassan laughed while screaming in pain it flames crept up his bodie as he sat their smiling at them. As he did it soon died down as they looked at each other.
"Umm that was screwed up"gwen added a little creeped out hassan dead bodie layed their with a burnt up face.
"Meh at least he prettier"zane added and everyone stared at him. He shrugged his shoulder as the dark joke he just all groaned a little at the joke because it was not the time for that.
"Alright why don't we head inside and regroup. Along with that repair the place, check on the injured. But more importantly take a break"nezumi replied as the group agreed. They all headed inside as their were cheers from inside at their major victory.
But from above on a building a masked women who chuckled to herself.
"Hmm my new boss may be interested in this"Betty parker said to herself .Then she walked away as a black portal lead to somewhere where ever he went.
It seems the group managed to save the huntsman base from the attack along with hassan being killed with the sabyr knight being put down. But it seems he acted very strange when that syringe was injected into him. Though with the introduction of Eden who was alive, dylan and liam are also gone. Till the eplogue!
