Chapter 18 teal:Not The Lancers

It was queit morning on lake matsu it seems as nothing was stirring the skys it seems. Though their wasn't much going on since it was cal, though it quickly changed as a cargoship bearing a laughing beowolv on the sdie shot through the sky. It was falk ship dubbed the hackling gull. Its been a day since they've left from atlas escaping from thoes detectives and jacque schnee. Though right waking up in a makeshift cot stirring awake was eria.

The girl slowly opened her eyes as she couldn't see anything since she packed a sleepmask with her. Its become such a common routine she feels like she can't sleep without one. She slowly woke up groaning because that cot wasn't the best for a bed.

Eria stood up as he back felt sore but she stretched it until a crack could be hear dwhich stafieid her. She then stood up straight as she walked aroudn the main area of the ship. Lazuli had some extra cots for them to sleep in. their journey so far has been quite smooth and she hopes to get to haven soon.

Though her nose was met by the sweet auroma of something sizzling it seems. She looked to see weiss awake working a portable stove. On the stove was a small frying pan with some sausages on it. Along with an already made bowl of scrambled eggs.

"Hey your up finally princess ice queen, took you long enough how'd you sleep?"lazuli aksed as she was sharpening her saber dubbed stinger.

Eria rubbed her back"alright but, my back is so messed up i'll prbbaly have back problems in the future"eria replied rubbing her back.

"Well you did sleep in a cargo ship that keeps rocking around alot"Weiss replied as she dumped the sausages onto a small plate. Their were maybe nine in total as the heriness fixed eria a plate. Weiss stood up handing her it then handed one to lazuli.

Eria was surprised weiss knew how to cook and looked at the eggs hesitantly. She sat on a nearby bench then dug into her breakfast. After her first bit to her shock it was delicious.

Eria hummed in delight"this is really good. I didn't know you could cook so good"eria said continuing to eat her breakfast

"Same here thought a fancy girl like you would have the hired help make your food"lazuli added eating her breakfast as she set her weapon down.

The heriness rolled her eyes turing the small stove off as she had her plate eating her breakfast.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, i didn't always make my own meals back home. My mom said i should learn to do things for myself sometimes"weiss replied

"Okay miss i apperently can take care of myself, how'd you learn how to cook?"lazuli asked

Weiss sat crossed legged eating her breakfast"klein did, he taught me and whitley how to make some basic dishes. Mostly from eggs, some soups, pasta and other simple dishes"weiss replied as they continued to eat.

Despite that eria was a little impressed with her cooking, it remind her of that faunus uncle she had. Despite his large size he was a master chef and bakery at times. It was funny seeing such a large man make a girly looking cake at times.

"Well i applaud him, these are really good weiss"eria compliemtned her as weiss slightly smiled but looked embarrassed it seems.

Because she was after calida showed her banagded back, she thought how'd falk would react. That he probably think its creepy and disgusting for someone like her to have scars. But also that he wouldn't want a girl with so much baggage right now.

Lazuli finished her plate as she placed it in a nearby container bottled to the wall for their plates and cotainter. She dusted herself off as she rolled her shoulder then looked toward the cockpit.

"Hmm you think sky guy is hunger?"lazuli question pointing to the cockpit.

"Maybe he has been flying for a while now, how is he even awake. We've made no stops yet at all since we left atlas"eria replied because he has been flying for a while now. She didn't expect a ship this to be so fast.

"Oh he probably is but…"Weiss tried to find the words as the two other girls looked at each other knowing why she was hesitating right now. The heiress wanted to give falk some breakfast to see if he liked it.

Lazuli walked over grabbing weiss pulling her up to their surprise. Then she fixed a plate up quickly handing it to weiss who was a little nervous.

"I'll take control of piloting for a bit sky guy hunger probably. Who know maybe he'll like your food"lazuli said as weiss kinda hoped for that. She nodded slowly at that as the two headed toward the cockpit. It wasn't a long walk as they came to see falk busy at work piloting the ship.

Weathe that be flipping switching or watching out for any patrols to keep themselves off the radar. The pilot was in the zone it seems as he didn't notice they were their. Soon enough lazuli walked over tapping him on the head getting his attention.

"Sup feathers, is something wrong do you need me to make a stop?"falk asked not even taking his eyes off the window.

"Not really though how much further are we?"lazuli asked

Falk thought for a moment" still a long way their were entering lake matsu right now. Though place is dangerous apperently since lancers live here"falk replied

"Oh aren't those bee like grimm if i recall they mainly nest here"weiss replied since she knew about it from all of ports boring lectures.

The pilot was caught off guard from this as he quickly looked at her. That brief second cause the ship to rock a little. A yelp could be heard in the back as lazuli and weiss tumbled a little but kept their footing. Falk quickly resteadyed the ship as he regained focus.

"Ow! Can you not rock the ship around please i banged my head!"eria shouted from the back coldly.

"Sorry!"falk called out sighing as he continued to pilot.

Their was an awkward silence for a bit until weiss decided to work up the courage to as him if he was hungry. She stepped forward a little getting close to him as he noticed her their. But was still focused on flying the ship.

"Um..hey weiss uh…whats up?"falk nervously asked

"Well um i was wondering if your hunger, i made some breakfast?"weiss asked as falk went a little wide eyed. Then glanced at the breakfast as he was going to say something before a rumbling noise could be heard. Which was from falk presumably as he chuckled smiling.

"Sure might as well have some grub, feather take over real quick"falk said as lazuli took control in the copilot seat strapping in. she nodded as falk turned his seat around taking the plate from weiss. While weiss held onto a railing above to kep herself steady.

Falk smelled if and seemed enarmored by it"mmhm smells godo you know how to cook?"he asked as he began eating his breakfast

"Uh yes…klein taught me along with mother a few times. Though umm how are they?"weiss asked wondering how she did.

The pilot took a few bites and chewed it as his eyes light up. Then he began to dig into his breakfast to weiss surprise a little. After a few minutes he finished his plates satfieisd it seems.

"Man that was actually really good, thanks for that"falk thanked as weiss blinked a few times smiling.

"Oh thank you…i wanted to make everyone breakfast since you two are taking us too haven"weiss replied

Lazuli laughed at that"hey it was a simple transport job, plus your dad was so generous for that fifty thousands lien doantation to us"lazuli joked as weiss giggled at that a little. It did make her a little happy that her father did lose money. Along with those two detectives now probably investigating suspected child abuse along with ironwood.

"Yeah though i'm pretty sure its another–"Falk begun as soon enough a radio on the ship started to pick up something. A garbled transmission was coming through to the surprise of the group as falk began to tune into it.

"What the heck? A transmission out here….that weird"falk said as he tried adjusting it.

"Is that not normal out here?"weiss asked

Lazuli shrugged her shoulders"Sort of but were still going over lake matsu. Shoudln't pick anything up this far from mistral. Probably someone close i'm guessing"lazuli suggested

Falk kept turning the knobs for a bit as eria came to the cockpit to see how everything was going. As she joined them soon enough falk managed to tune into the broadcast. They were met by something alarming it seems.

"Mayday! Mayday! We are a small passenger flight, our huntsman is injured! We aren;t equipped to deal with this!"a female voice could be heard form the other end.

"Oh man thats not good"lazuli said sadly as weiss looked worried at this.

"Those poor people, their probably dealing with grimm"eria coldy said but was worried

Weiss eyes widen as the transmission continued"the grimm hit us four hundred klicks north of the southern shoreline! One of them has a women riding on top of it!"the pilot said from the radio as the group went wide eyed.

I..i think their dealing with one of the grimm knights"falk nerovusly said because that means they could run into trouble soon.

The ice queen looked worried"we should go help them"weiss said as lazuli looked at her like she was crazy.

"Hell no, pretty sure someone else might have picked up their transmission. Plus this ship jsut a cargo ship, though we do have a few heavy oridnace on here. But its too risky"lazuli stated firmly

Falk nodded"yeah sorry weiss, we can't save everyone. Look lets just hope for the best–"falk begun before crys could be heard from the transmission. Then someone laughing on the other end before grunting could be heard from it. Then a pause happened as someone picked up the radio.

"This is pyrke rite haven huntsman, we have three civilian transport ship in need of immediate help! We've encountered one of the grimm knights, we need any available huntsman or huntresses in the area" a man voice came through the other end making falk go wide eyed.

They all looked at it especially falk because that was his uncle and sister husband. Which meant he was in major trouble. The pliot looked at the radio then picked it up to lazuli shock.

"Falk what the hell are you doing?"lazuli asked as falk pressed the button.

"This is falk bishop, we read you were on our way hold out"falk said into the radio as he quickly took the control of his ship.

It was silence for a bit on the other end till someone spoke up"holy…what the hell is my nephew doing way out here?"pyke asked surprised on the other end.

"I was in the area uncle, don't worry were on our way hold on"falk relayed with a serious expression as he flicked some switches as the engine roared to life. Eria stumbled a little but grabbed onto a wall as she leaned against it. Weiss tumbled a little but luckily held onto the pliot chair. Lazuli wanted to argue but sighed because it was his family after all.

"Okay we help them out then head to haven got it"lazuli ordered as falk nodded before throwing a switch as his ship jetted off toward the ships in distress. It took them about ten minutes as they were passing by several large floating island. Along with that they were bright blue on the bottom and had some clouds around it. Their were black crystals jutting out from the borrom of it.

"Where are they?"eria uqestioned looking for the ships in distress

"Along with where are we right now, those island looks to have gravity dust"Weiss pointed out

"Were passing by the floating islands in lake matsu. That gravity dust can cause some major turbanlance for us. Theirs also several nasty grimm here as well. But i hope we get their on time"falk said worried as they kept flying.

The ship moved steadily as weiss looked around then went wide eyed. Because from the side of a floating island a heavily damaged mistral airship came barreing at them. It was covered in flames and look on the verge of breaking apart.

"Watch out!"lazuli called out as flak turned the wheel steering his ship upwards to avoid it. The doomed craft went down as he quickly turned the radio back on. But eria saw in horror as the doomed craft crashed into a nearby island.

"Oh no…please don't be on that one"falk said worried as the radio searched for any nearby transmissions as one came through.

"Crap zeke gone! We need help please!"a mistral pilot begged as they looked to see something attacking them. Several bug like creatures that have three segmented black body with three sets of legs. They have a white armored mask and armor along their backs. On the back of their abdomen, the armor has overlapping paltes. Tey have jagged pincers, antenna, four red transparent wings and a stinger.

"Oh no…this was a bad idea"lazuli stated

Eria looked in horror at what happened next"umm that is alot of lancers, they've got the other ship"eria said

They looked out the window seeing a swarm of lancers around the ship. Then they shot their stigners it seems from their bodies. The stinger extended as they pierced the ship hull. The wasp like grimm just trapped their new set of prey.

"Were hooked! Were hooked! Abandone ship now!"someone said frantically on the other end. The grimm dive bombed the ship for a bit until it started to crack under all the preassure. The one with their stinger in it started to pull it apart.

"No..no! Help someone please help us!"a scared pliot could be heard as the ship soon with everyone on board perished. The ship blew up in a fiery explosion as it took some of the grimm. But falk went wide eyed as he gripped his wheel tight trying not to cry.

"God dammit…no…no i'm sorry sis"falk cried softly as weiss lookd at him worried.

"I'm sorry we didn't–"weiss begun but was cut short as something came through.

"Fuck..we lost another ship! We need to make an emergency landing descend! Descend!"pyke voice could be heard again as falk was filled with hope. Eria looked out the window seeing a burning airship heading down but had a few lancers after them.

"Their making an emergency landing down their. If we avoid thiose lancers we can look for survivors"Eria stated

"I agree though um they've seen us"weiss reminded as they all looked to see a small swarm on lancers approaching them. They started to rush at falk airship but the pilot had other ideas. He looked on his console for a second then smiled with a button labeled bit gun.

"Time to shred some bugs"falk said condifnedlty as he pressed the button. Outside the ship on the sides were two metal boxes on the ship. Though soon enough they opened to reveal a set of miniguns on the ship. They spooled up for a bit before firing at the oncoming grimm obligaertating them.

The two cold girls were surprised that a cargo would have something like this. But they are traveling with professional theifs they may have something like this to deal with grimm.

"Huh guess those fancy toys you installed did finally come in handy"lazuli stated impressed and happy she let him pay so much for them. Falk nodded but looked at the radar seeing something very large approaching them it seems.

"Thanks though, something big gaining on us can you two handle it we don't got guns in the back"falk asked looking back but before he knew it. He looked seeing eria and weiss running to the hatch as they hoped down. He flipped a switch for a speaker to speak to them.

Down below in the cargo hold the two quickly hoped down as weiss landed perfectly. Then eria jumped ahlfway down the ladder rolling and stood up quickly. The cargo hold seemed to house some boxes it seems. Along with supplies the two had on stock, their were also a few dust container labeled with the SDC brand.

"What are you two doing?"falk asked over an intercom.

Weiss quickly rushed over opening a large container of dust. Then she began to load her weapon mysrenaster as eria did the same with tundra.

"Were going to hold them off the best we can!"eria shouted upward to the two.

"Along with that since you two are carrying dust. What else do you have here?"weiss asked as she finished loading her weapon

Though soon enough a clicking noise and whirring noise could be heard. They looked as a small floor hatch opened and they looked inside. Their inside was a few large cailber weapons from the looks of it. Mostly a large rifle, machine guns, a few grenades and so on.

"That answer your question?"lazuli voice said on the intercom as the two ice queen smiled at each other. Eria grabbed a machine gun since tundra wasn't the best at far range. While weiss grabbed a grenade as the hatch closed.

"Okay when we tell you open the rear door!"weiss ordered

"Roger that miss schnee, thank you for deciding to ride with us. Sorry for the apparent bug attack"falk voice could be heard from the intercom as weiss giggled at that. Then she summons a black glyph underneath her to keep herself stuck to the ship. While eria froze the bottom parts of her legs keeping herself in place. The two nodded and readied their respective weapons.

"Were ready!"eria called out as up above falk then pressed a button labeled rear door. The cargo bays down below swung open as wind rushed into the hold. The two covered their eyes squinting as immediately a small lancer rushed in at them. But weiss fired some fire dust into it killing it. Then another one came at eria but she aimed her rifle pulling the trigger. It shot upward but her bullets landed in its head killing it.

But above bullets couldt be seen from the bottom floor of the ship. It bounced a bit around the ship until hitting a glass plate as it rocked around. Several items in the ship were being slightly knocked around. But the battle was waging on in the skies.

Back down below two more lancer came in at the two. But their were met by a glyph shooting ice dust at them. They froze the bugs as they slide out of the ship to their frozen fates. Eria kept trying to hit the bugs that kept getting in. though the rifle she was using was too heavy, she grutned before throwing it the side switching to tundra in its shotgun form

Immedialty a lancer tried to sting her but she fired into it shooting it out of the ship.

Weiss noticed her using tundra"good idea, try using that incase i can cover long range. You get any that come inside"weiss said

Eria nodded"glaldy though they said their was a knight. Where in the name of remnant is it?"eria asked coldly as the two kept firing at the apraoching bug like grimm.

Though up above in the cockpit falk was steering his ship around like crazy. He kept pullin evasive maneurver to avoid the grimm chasing them. Lazuli held onto her seat worried this is the way she'll die.

"Ughh can't you fly any smoother?!"she asked anger as her head whipped back slightly

Falk grunted"hey not my fault their are a bunch of bugs here"falk said as he looked around toward the floating island cose by. He smiled as lazuli noticed this holding onto her seat for dear life.

"Hold on!"falk sat as he pulled a switch forward as the ship shot through. As it did down below weiss lost her blance a little but she used a black glyph to keep herself steady. Eria though barely reacted as she kept firing at the apporahcing grimm coming inside.

The cargo ship soon travel to some narrowly adjacent island that were close. He narrowed his gaze as he doged the walls of the islands. Some lancer outside got taken out trying to catch up but where killed by some debris. Weiss kept using glyph to shoot rocks and fireballs are the grimm. While they did it seemed they were in the clear.

Falk noticed this cheering"yeah baby! We made it were in the clear!"falk cheered as he kept plioting his ship.

Lazuli sighe din relief"thats great, thought we were gonna die here"lazuli stated as she relaxed.

Falk chuckled"yeah and we didn't run into the grimm knig–"falk begun his sentence but stopp as his mouth was left wide open. The two looked to see a giant lancer their the size of his cargo ship. But instead of four plates it had seven plates instead. Though ontop of it stood a women their in all her glory.

The women had ghost white skin it seems that made her look dead. But for her attire she wore a dark long leather coat that was jet black in color. Red lined the interior of the coat as it was unbutton at the top it seems. Along with that a crimson red capelets was seen on her. Their was also a pair of leather pants from the looks of it colored jet black as well. She also wore a pair of riding boots that were the same color but had crimson red vines lining it. On her head she wore a beekeepers jousting helmet that was bone white. Thought the strange part was that her left arm was that of a lancer stinger up to where her elbow was. Along with a set of lancer wings on her back as they buzzed around.

Lazuli slowly looked at falk frowning at him that he just had to say that right now.

"I fucking hate you soo much right now"lazuli said as falk nodded then spoke into the intercom.

Down below the ice queens were sighing in relief from a well fought victory. Eria was about to undo her ice while weiss exhaled in relief surviving that.

"I can't beleive we made it"weiss stated

"Yeah though i'm going to have to–"Eria begun before falk came on the intercom.

"Ice queens we got a queen lancer! Along with a grimm knight riding it!"falk voice on the intercom could be heard as the two were shocked. The ship immediately rocked back and forth as weiss fell forward toward the open cargo door. But eria as quick grabbing her by the arm holding her tight.

"Please don't let go!"weiss begged

"No chance…but hurry up and use your glyphs"eria replied as weiss did just that using her black glyphs as she glued herself to the ground. Soon enough from the cargo bay door a giant lancer head could be seen as the grimm kngith entered the cargo hold. The lancer queen snapped it picnhers trying to bit them.

The knight laughed manically looking at them"fresh food for my pet, my little queenie will enjoy feasting on your bone"the lancer knight stated as the two nervously gulped at that.

Though weiss though of something as she started to gain some composure. "Cover me i got a plan"weiss ordered as eria nodded

The grimm knight lunged toward them with her large lance on her arm. But eria quickly blasted her back as she landed against some dust containers. They shook but luckily didn't fall off, the grimm hybrid snarled before lunging at eria again. Once she did eria brought tundra out as the two clashed.

The women pushed back but eria pushed back farther"you worthless peons should be grateful i'm hunting you down"the lancer knight stated with glee

"I'm sorry but…were not food for bugs!"Eria shouted as she pushed her back bashing the women across the face sending her back. With weiss she was concentrating right trying to summon something she defeated long ago before she came to beacon. Weiss took a deep breath as a large glyph appeared then something slowly started to emerge from it. At this moment the ship went upwards trying to shake the bug out of the hold.

As it did soon enough the lancer knight tried to sting at eria as the girl wobbled a little in place. She went wide eyed as weiss was getting close to being done with her summon. Eria readied her bat to swing into the women.

But to her surprise the women stopped shaking her lancer arm to eria surprise. The women grabbed the stinger with her other arm shaking.

"No…no….no…god dammit you fucking parasite!"the women stated as weiss finished her summon. She looked at this surprised but her summon was an arma gigas in a white and blue hue. The heiress ordered it too dive into the lancer queen with it sword as it did. The sword pierced it thick skin as it cried in pain.

Before they knew it the queen lancer was quickly dealt with as it turned into black smoke. Though the armas gigas disppaeared while the two were surprised by this.

The lancer knight kept holding her arm back"shut up…shut the hell up! Get out of my head!"she cried like a banshee as she stumbled a little as her wings flapped.

"Is she…is she in control?"Weiss questioned as eria was shocked

Lazuli slide down to the cargo hold whipping her brow"phew good job you two deal with that uh..knight?"lazuli asked with the cargo doors closing. But the knight was still here clutching her head with her one arm.

"I'm not…killing kids…again…get out…get out my head…please"the women begged as lazuli was surrpsied she was fighting back. She reached out but soon the women stood motionless before looking over at them.

"Oh you saw it? Now i need to kill you for hurting my little pet"she said eerily in a child like voice ready to attack them. But lazuli then looked at a dust container throiwng it into the women. It hit her sending her back then eria shot the containers as it exploded on impact. The lancer knight flew out but soon air started to rush into the hold. They all held on as upabove every light on the console light up.

Falk was trying to pull up but looked to see them making a crash landing

"Hold on!"he shouted as the ship descend downwards. But as it did weiss quickly used her semblance to and some glyphs to slow their trajectory down. But it wasn't enough as they crashed into a forestry area. They snapped several tree and branches in their way. As the cackling gull made an emergency crash alnding.

Though far off into the forest at a small campsite all by himself was some very familair. Adam taurus sat at his campfire as he just finished eating the game he just caught. Which was some fish as seen by the bones close by. The bull faunus his mouth off sighing heavily to hismelf.

The faunus looked around in his simple campsite near a small hidden set of trees. He missed some sense of faunus or even human contact right now. But he deserves to be out here like the wild animal he was.

Adam leaned back on the ground as it felt rough just like the SDC mines" why did you ever do it my friend, give an order to kill our own people"adam said himself staring at the sky.

"I udnerstand several of our brother and sister left because they were scared. At first i wanted nothing more than to hunt them down. But that wouldn't be right to kill our own people. I've known you for for long you were like a brother to me"adam said as he covered his left eyes with his white fang mask still on.

"Though i've broken your trust it seems everysince i fled from that police station and our prison escape. I wanted to go back for you but…our group needed one of their leaders. What a fool i was, in reality you were just a sick man out for blood"Adam continued staring at the chirping birds in a nearby tree smiling a little.

"But…..maybe you were right blake that our voices will never be heard if we fight with violence. I should have listen to you sooner…then maybe you'd still have you arm. You probably want to kill me…."adam begun but saw a flamming ship fly overhead which worried him. He quickly shot up with his weapon at the hip.

"A cargo ship all the way out here? Hmm i did see three other earlys"adam said to himself sounding crazy now.

The faunus thought for a moment maybe their could be survivors their. If their is indeed surviros they may need help. The faunus then grabbed his cloak slipping it on as he rushed over to the ship.

Meanwhile at the crash sight eria could barely rember what happen right now. All she could hear was a ringing noise right now. But she kept feeling someone shaking her to wake up. Along with someone voice being heard.

"Eria? Eria wake up!"the voice sounded barley audible.

She slowly adjusted her vision as a sense of dizzy was present and could hear slightly more.

"Eria! Are you ok?! Please…please be okay"Weiss said as eria woke up groaning to see weiss with a couple tears escaping.

Weiss smiled as she helped her up thought eria head hurt pretty bad. She rubbed her head as she felt something wet. Pulling her hand back she saw blood and was immeialty shocked and wondered what happen.

"Ughh what happened?"eria said wobbling a little as weiss supported her as they walked out of the crashed cargo ship. Everything was thrown around alongside their luggage it seems.

"We crashed lazuli used some dust container to throw that knight out"weiss replied as she sat eria on a nearby crate. Then she quickly searched around for a medkit. Eventually she found one as she pulled some disinfectant and gauze out.

Weiss quickly used a cloth as she padded eria head wound down as eria winced a little.

"Ok next up the banaged"weiss said as she started to wrap a bandaged around eria head. As she did eria looked to see falk sitting against a rock frowning right now with his arms crossed. Along with a makeshift splint on his leg made from metal and rope it seems.

"I can't believe that stupid bug destory my ship!"falk shouted in anger

"Oh shut up flyboy at least we made it out alive"lazuli replied as she was packing up some gear from the looks of it. Their were a few backpacks it seems along with a makeshift stretcher from one of the cots.

"Yeah but…my preciovus baby i spent so much lien on it. On all those parts most of which where hard to come by. Along with the weapons i installed on it. A years worth of work gone…i didn't even get to use the railway cannon"falk groaned upset he couldnt use that.

Soon weiss finished eria banegd as she wrapped her arm around her shoulder as they walked out.

"Well at least were all okay somewhat, eria seemed to have suffered a nasty head wound"weiss stated as eria rubbed her head.

"I can tell but….falk what happened to you?"Eria asked

"Busted my ankle fractured it, might take a few days for it to heal. But right now we need to get out of here"falk reminded because that knight could still be around

"Way ahead of you but with princes here hurt…gonna be hard to get you two to safety"lazuli pointed out since their was only two of them. She had a backpack on with two more along with her. The thief packed some suppiles that she could scavange from the wreckage.

"Hmm well we could have someone carry falk, while the other caries eria. We could also place the bags on the makeshift stretcher. Could you carry one of the bags?"weiss suggested to falk who nodded

"Yeah though i hope we can find some civilization out here…i don't wanna become grimm good"falk admitted because he didn't wanna die out here.

Lazuli then placed a bag on his makeshift stretcher as she began to drag it. While for weiss she carried one while she supported eria while she walked. While eria held her shotgun out incase any grimm came their way.

The four began to walk deep into the forest hoping to not run into any trouble. They continued to walk for maybe ten minutes it seems. Luckily not running into any trouble right now, they seemed to be somewhere in the anima from the looks of it.

"Ughh seriously i wish we brought more people with us"lazuli said grunting dragging falk who had his machine pistol out just incase.

"What you calling me fat feathers?"falk playfully asked as lazuli glared at him.

"I am…maybe cut back on the late night snacks sky guy. Ughhh how you two holding up?"lazulin asked as weiss supported eria but she was getting a little tired. The bag was a little heavy but she didn't wanna look weak to them.

"I'm fine…though do you think we'll find anyone out here?"weiss replied panting slightly as eria panted a little. Her head might have gotten a concussion maybe if they had some medicine. She could be fine by tommorrow. But they didn't have that at hand right now.

"Well…i'm sort of okay…my head hurt like hell…but…i hope we find help soon"eria replied as they continued to walk. Until suddenly infront of them a cloaked figure emerged infront of them to their surprise.

Eria aimed her shotgun at him while falk turned slightly groaning as he aimed his machine pistol at him. Lazuli dropped him as she aimed wisp at them.

"Who the hell are you?"lazuli demanded keeping her weapon trained on them.

The figure face was slightly obscured"I saw a cargo ship crash nearby, i have a campsite that pretty far away. Are you all okay?"he asked but his voice sounded familiar to lazuli too famliar.

"Umm sort of if you count a busted leg…ow"falk replied as he moved slightly which made it worse.

Weiss held eria as she groaned slightly"look you wouldn't happen to have medicine at your camp would you or any idea where a town is?"weiss asked as lazuli stared at her in shock.

"Weiss he could be a bandit for remannt sakes…also you aint laying a finger on her"lazuli warned gesturing to weiss it seems.

But the cloaked figure stared at her slightly in a silent pause it seemed. Adam was very surprised to see the schnee heiress here. Someone whos family he depsies right now, but why would she be with roman torhcwich daughter. The faunus wanted to question them but two of them are hurt and need help. If he was going to make a amens for all he did might as well start with them.

"No…but latly i've seen alot of movement at a large campsite"adam replied

"Oh really? We sure they aren't your bandit buddies?"falk question keeping his weapon trained on him.

"He's right…also why should we trust someone face we can't even see?"eria asked but lowered her weapon rubbing her head it was throbbing right now.

Weiss noticed this worried"are you okay?"weiss asked as eria shook her head.

The thief weighed her option but sighed looking at the man hoping someone was out here. Because if their in the anima if their lucky they might run into the branwhen tribe. They might be able to help them, their is small camps spread out incase their are people in need out here.

"Anything noticeable for the camp symbol, flags, banner anything?"lazuli questioned to their confusion

Adam thought for a moment before recalling about a week ago while he stayed here. That their was a flag bearing the brnahwhen tribessymbol. Something he's been avoiding as of late.

"Yes their is, it seems to be the symbol of the branwhen tribe last i recall"adam replied as weiss went wide eyed that was ruby and yang uncle last name. Which meant he could be out here or yang mom maybe. She barely heard anything about her.

"That ruby and yang uncle tribe, maybe they can help us"weiss replied as lazuli was all for it.

"Okay mysterious stranger take us their but carry skyguy. Your infront i'll watch our back"lazuli ordered as adam didn't argue. He grabbed falk by his makeshfit stretcher as he began to lead them through the woods toward the camp he saw a week ago. Though in a nearby tree was a tesnculscent blue haze bat watching far off in the woods of the anima stumbling through the woods was the lancer knight. She kept muttering to herself as she looked for her new prey.

This concludes this chapter as we saw the appernace of another grimm knight known as the lancer knight. Along with that she seems to be fighting for control, along with seeing where adam is. They crashed in the anima hoping to find some help. Till next time!
