Chapter 20 teal:Crashed and Burn

It was the middle of the night right now as it was dead quiet as the tribemembers patrols the camp. Though right now in the tent lazuli was staying it seemed to be peaceful. Iris layed on a bedroll sprawled out hugging a small handmade teddy bear. While for dan he slept on one as well but tucked under the covers. Mai and charile were sharing a sleeping bag. But for lazuli she kept tossing and turning in her sleep.

It might ahve been a nightmare but instead it was actaully a memorie playing out

Dream sequence

Their the streets of the upper part of mistral it seems sat a small park and it was nighttime right now. But in the very middle of the park sat a swan statue spreading it wings as water spouted from its mouth. Though wandeirng around in a pair of ragged looking black shrit and a white long sleeve was a young lazuli. She had dirt all over her face and clothes as she looked sickly.

The young girl was wandeirng around the park for any source of food. Because everysince her parents abdandoned her a few months ago. It's been hard to find a safe place to sleep at night and something to eat. Her legs hurt right now along with her entire bodie especially her stomach.

"So hungry…why did you leave me"the young lazuli said to herself hugging herself.

It was freezing right now along with it pouring rain right now hard right now. She felt cold, scared and hungry but just wanted somewhere safe right now. Every step she took hurt because she felt exhausted from the lack of food shes had. No one was willing to give a dirty homeless girl any scraps of food.

Though as she walked toward a bench she just layed ontop of it hugging herself. The rain kept pelting her hard as she just felt cold. She wanted to cry right now but her eyes hurt because she just felt so alone. Though she coughed a little as she wrapped her arms around herself trying to stay warm.

Young lazuli sniffed"so cold…why did you leave me…what did i do wrong"she said to herself not relziing someone was close by. She just slowly shut her eyes from her lack of energy but looked to see somone with an umbrealla walking toward her.

"Oh you poor thing, lets get you somehwere warm kid"a male voice could be heard

The young girl didn't know how long she was out but what she was surprised was to find herself inside. Lazuli opened her blue eyes to look around where she was. But was surprised to find herself in a warm bed and a new set of clothes.

She was curiosu where she was becuase it looked like a simple room with wooden walls and door. Along with a desk and chair in the room. But she felt something wet on her head that being a rag.

"Where am i? Did bad people take me or…good people"she asked herself but tried to move. But didn't really feel that great because she felt hot all over. She coughed a little, but her stomach still hurt slightly.

The doors to the room soon opened to reveal two people their. The first being a younger roman torhcwich in his usally attire without his signiture bowler hat. The second a women it seems who is a heavy set middle aged women. Her skin was light and she had short blodne hair kept in a bob cut. She had a beauty mark under her right eye, her upper lip had purple lipstick while she had purple nailpolish on her fignernails. Though she wore a dress with the top being white and backless, it had long sleeves and details on it such as beads and straps in purple. Below she wore a purple corset and long pleated skrit that it yellow on its top layer, purple in the middle one, white on the lower layer. She wore brown shoe that are decorated with green ribbion. On her left should sher had a spider in its web tattoed.

This is lili miss the head ot the spider gang of mistral.

Roman looked at her surrpsied"oh your awake dear, that great how are you feeling?"roman asked softly as he walked inside sitting at the end of the bed.

Lazuli srcunhed her sheet up hiding a little"are you bad people old man"lazuli replied

This made roman frown as lil miss chuckled at that a little carrying a tray it seems. Lazuli smelled something delcious right now coming from the tray. She slightly looked at it but was still scared of these people.

"In a way dear we are, though your lucky torch here found you in time"lili miss said setting the tray near on an end table. Lazuli looked seeing some soup with some piece of bread. Along with some oranges it seems.

"Lili miss is right kid, though you seem to have caught a fever. What were you doing out their?"roman asked her

But lazuli was more focused on the food as she salavated a little. It smelled like heaven to her and she was straving right now. A bit of saliva dripped onto the blanket as the two took notice of this. Lili miss moved the tray close to her as lazuli hesiantly reached for it.

"Is..this..for me?"lazuli asked nerovusly

"It is, i rather not see some poor kid strave out on the streets. I may be a crook but sometimes they even have heart dear"lil miss replied

"Eat up its all yours you do look pretty hunger"roman added as immeidalty she did.

The girl began to dig into the food slowly it seems, she struggled to eat some of the food. But was smiling happy to finally get a warm meal after soo long. Along with warm clothes, soon she finished it but couldn't eat anymore since she felt full.

Lili miss set the tray aside sighing smiling"it seems you were really hunger, though dear where are you parents?"she asked

"Yes, because i'm sure their very worried about you and what is your name?"roman asked with a smile.

Lazuli just look down as a tear welled up hicking rubbing her eyes"i don't know where mommy and daddy are…they left me when we went shopping. "She replied crying a little as roman soften his gaze but clenched his fist in anger. Lili miss took noticed of this with a sadden expression.

"Do you think they might have left you behind or lost you?"lili miss asked but knew the answer.

"I don't know…but they sometime said….they didn't want me around…did i do something wrong?"lazuli asked as tear stained her cheeks. But roman just pulled the young girl into an embrace patting her back to let it all out. Lazuli retunred it crying with some coughs still as she buried her face into his shoulder.

"Its not your fault dear, you were just given a bad hand is all. Those parents of your don't deserve you…but whats your name?"roman asked as he undid his embrace wiping a tear off her cheek.

She sniffed rubbing her nose"lazuli…blackburn"lazuli replied softly as he smiled at that.

"That's a beautfitul name, though since you don't have any parents. Why don't you come stay with me because i know how it feels to be abandoned by your own parents"roman offered a hand to the girl who paused for a moment. But she just lunged foward hugging him to his surrpsie but he returned it. She just cired a little from this one act of kidness given to her after soo long.

Dream squence end

Her eyes shot wide oepn as she sat up from her bedroll with swet comign down her face. It wasn't a nightmare but she had a few tears down her face as she rubbed them off. For sme reason she was ucnofmrtable right now and got out of bed without waking the family. She needed some air and grabbed her jacket and slipped some shoes on.

The night was queit as a few tribesmmebers were awake right now doing their daily patrol. They looked at her but cotninued with their daily rotuine. It was a little cold outisde but she didn't care right now. She looked at the stars as they twinkled in the night. Though she was a little at ease but looked toward the cages.

It wasn't a long walk to the cages as she walked to a certain cage. Guards were stationed close by but not far enough for them to evasdrop on her. She looked at one cage containign adam tarrus who was mediating right now.

She didn't even make a sound but to her surprise he knew she was their.

"Are you going to stand their gawking or tell me why your here?"adam replied though she remained quiet glaring at him.

He sighed at the silence but could feel her staring him down.

"Look if i was going to hurt you all i would have done it sooner"he said but lazuli spoke up.

"Oh really? That worked out great for that chicks arm you cut off and roping my family into your terror attacks"she tetorted back. For some reason he didn't have his mask on, she could see an SDC brand on his left eye as it was barly open.

But along with a sad frown on his face to her surprise but she before she spoke he did.

"Why are you up this late? Shouldn't you be in bed or soemthing?"he asked wanting to change the topic but she wanted to preassure him.

"Oh nothing much just remebering the good times with my dad…before he died because of you and bonnie"lazuli spat back as he looked down.

Adam sighed heavily as he turned to her"i know you blame me for roman death…but for that i'm sorry from the bottom of my heart for roping you into this"adam apologized to her shock as she looked at him.

"Your sorry? Everysince we took that job from that bonnie chick helping you with your cause. It been nothing but trouble i lost my dad, my lynx of a brother in vacou and my little sister in menagerie. Breaking the news of my cousin death again to our aunt. "Lazuli replied

"I forgot you had a lynx for a brother…how'd that happen"adam replied trying to dievert the topic.

Lazuli scoffed"why would you wanna know? Trying to get on my good side?"lazuli replied as adam nodded not even trying to hide it.

"I'd like to make an amens to someone i've hurt, your just one of the many i need to atone for"Adam admitted as this was a surprise. That he came out here to atone for what he did.

"So you feel guilt…but…why did you even leave the fang?"lazuli questioned wanting to know his reason.

"I've started to have my doubt about them now…everysince blake confront me back in beacon. Even after cutting her arm off all i could feel is guilt and regret"adam begun as she listened.

"I used to beleive that we needed to make our voices heard by violence. But all it did was spread the hate toward my people, i hurt one of my own kind. It..it made me feel sick, while someone i considered a brother. Who i hurt by leaving behind at that police station…then i hear he ordered our own people to murder anyone who leaves"Adam added as he clenched his fist in anger which she noticed

"I thought i knew him everysince we were in those mines togheter with his sister. Even after both my parents were killed for trying to escape that slaver camp. Along with this dam brand by the SDC comapny. "He added gesturing to his scarred eye as she soften her gaze because it reminded her of annoying brother she let him continue as she listened.

"Me and that spider faunus went through too much togheter. I thought we were joining the fang and using violence to get our point across. All that did was hurt my own people…along with someone i used to love. But her words finally got through to me…and i return it by cutting her arm off. Then ollie…betrays me by siding with those grimm knights and that bonnie girl"adam finished as lazuli went wide eyed at that.

That ollie weaver has sided with bonnie along with those grimm knights. Which meant he might be working with watts and that queen known as salem. That spider faunus sided with the people who took her dad away. She was surprised he told her this, thought it might have been some of it.

Lazuli stood up beginnign to walk away but turned to him answering his previous question.

"You remind me of my fish eating brother kind of"lazuli replied as adam raised an eyebrow.

"How so? Is it because i'm a faunus?"adam asked but she shook her head.

"That you both were slaves…both lost their parents to some dam mines"lazili simply replied to adam shock that she easily trusted him.

"Why would you tell me this? I know you don't trust me along with depsiing me. But i'm okay with you not even trusitng me..i just wanna undo all the wrongs i did. "Adam admitted

Lazuli stayed silent for a moment as she took in what he said before coming up with a response

"Well your right baout me hating your guts and trust you since what happened at beacon. But i'm willing to give you the benfit of the doubt…some crooks have hearts of gold. Night bull boy"lazuli said walking off back to bed. Adam watched this surprised she told him that but soon layed down to sleep for the night.

It was now a new morning in the brnawhen tribe village. Though right now in a certain tent was eria as she was slowly stirring awake right now the snow dancer eyes fluttered open as a sense of dizzyness came over her. She groaned rubbing her head as she felt a banagegd.

"Where am i? Did i pass out from that concussion?"she asked herself as her head didn't hurt that much anymore. Her aura must have healed it but she looked at where she was. A medium size tent that fit several people their with some bedrolls and animal hide and fur around. Their was also a small table along with a framed picture.

But she looked around then looked at dravan with shock in her eyes. He was awake now along with verona who was polishing her weapon. Dravan looked at his niece awake smiling slgihtly as she was stunned.

"Your…your actually alive?"eria asked getting up feeling his face as he let it happen. Verona watched chuckling as she polished her weapon.

She felt his face to see if it was real and she felt warmth, flesh, his hair and face. Soon enough he pushed her hands down before pulling her in an embrace with his one good arm. Eria lips quivered into a small smile before burying her face into his shoulder crying a little.

"Its me snow dancer…oh how i've missed you"dravan said as he held the embrace.

She swallowed before speaking"how…how are you alive? Dad confirmed your death they found your arm…and the rest of the scraf we made you"she asked still hugging him tight.

The jackal faunus sighed looking down at his missing apengage"its quite a tale…would you like to hear it?"he asked as eria undid her embrace wiping her eyes. The girl nodded but he looked down at her leg seeing a prothsetic one in its place.

He slihgtly laughed"it seems you got quite a tale as well…what happened to you dear? And…your sister is alive?"dravan asked to eria confusion as she sat on the makeshift bed.

"Why wouldn't she? You…you got her to safety back at the village you lived at. Dad and some huntsman went looking for you and found her locked in a cellar alive"eria said as dravan looked wide eyed at her. Before she knew it the man started to smile with some mixed sobs in between.

Verona sighed smiling as she walked over rubbing the man back"oh don't start crying your eyes out you big lug. "She warned but let it happen

Dravan sobed for a bit before a small bit of laugher could be heard"why wouldn't i? I didn't end up killing my niece and disappoint my brother"he replied as eria looked shcoked at him. That he thought rogue was dead because of him but he saved her.

"Thats…thats why your out here? Because you thought you killed my twin sister. You went into hiding guilt ridden instead of coming back to us. For five years we thought you were dead, every dam year of the vytal fesitval"eria begun glaring at him as the jackal faunus let her get it out.

Eria froze the bed slightly below her as it crepted onto it hissing an icy mist"every dam year rogue would close up making some stupid invetion. Trying to forget that day she visited your village, heartbroken you died because you needed to protect her. But now…she even more hearbtoken after losing three very close friends that day"Eria conintued as she looked down gripping her metal leg with tears welling up.

The man soften his gaze rubbing his eyes because right now he felt guilty for what hes done for the past five years. While verona was excited to finally meet her husband family but was upset to hear something like this.

Eria swalloed again as it was starting to get hard to talk her throat slightly closed up from her sadness.

"Now…now she lost her best friend who helped her with your death. Pyrrha…pyrrha dead…and i couldn't save her in time. And…and her partners dead…our leader…who says i'm our new leader. Now she goes after the people who killed them…saying…saying she'll murder them for what they took from her"Eria finished as she hung her head down quiveirng

Their was no excuse why she wasn't sad, she finds her uncle she thought was dead for five years. He's been here relaxing like its nothing not even returning home. Thinking he killed his niece but he saved her. Though soon dravan just pulled her in a loving embrace as she buried her face crying again.

After a few minutes she composed herself as she looked at him. He sighed as he rubbed his missing arm sighing.

'Look sweetie i'll tell you what happened and why i didn't come back home. You see after i put your sister in that cellar for safe keeping. I do my thing killing the grimm around the vilalge like it was nothing. But then that scoprian faunus their and i got in a dual. We fought long and hard until someone perusambly his lover how they talked to each other. "Dravan begun his tale as eria listened.

"The two ganged up on me slicing my arm off what was weird is she had a deathstalker pinccer and tail. Probably one of those knights twelve knights or whatever i'm guessing"dravan aded to her confusion

"Wait…you didn't say thirteen?"eria asked surprised as they looked at her confused

"Uhh my husband did so what?"verona asked

"Yeah snow dancer we may not get much news out here. But i can tell when not say something to hurt my family feelings"dravan added as eria smiled at that. It reassured her not everyone was so quick to say anything harsh about her friend.

She rubbed her eye smiling"thank you…if rogue was here she appaiecate it. All i've heard are people slander someone name that tried to rescue me…to make sure i got back to my family. At the cost of his life"eria added as verona walked over sitting next to her rubbing her back.

"Relax kid also rae and qrow told us bit and pieces about it. Though continue your tale drav"verona dieveted the topic as dravan had a smug grin.

"Ah more of my amazing tales how those two sick scorpains made me go on the run for fun. Then after running for a bit they gave up unable to find me. Though i soon ran into raven and her band of warriors after running for three days. They nursed me back to health and suggested i return to my brother. But…but that scorpian made me bleive my little firstarter was dead. Showed me a girl with blonde hair in a blood clothe"he added frowning but grinned again.

"Then after that i made her and qrow vow to never tell my family. I faked my death as i slowly went up the ranks of the branwhen tribe. As third in command alongside my wife with the sibling being the leaders. Their also adding a new ad–"Dravan begun before someone spoke up.

"Da"a child voice could be heard as it caught eria attention.

The girl looked over to a small bed a three and ahlaf year old with pale skin and deep cobalt blue eyes. She had a tuff of brown hair on her head but she noitced a pair of bat wings on her arms.

Dravan smiled walking over picking the bat faunus up then looked at eria smiling walking over.

"That i also relized a family would be nice…meet your baby cousin luna hayley"dravan introduced eria to her never heard of cousin.

The girl looked at her shocked right now at hearing something like this. But just looked at her as they looked at each other eyes. She reached out to the girl slowly but soon luna pulled eria hand. Then she bit it slightly as a pair of bat fangs could be seen.

They stood in islence as eria barly reacted with a blank expression"ow…does she normal do this?"she coldy asked as dravan gave a hearty laugh.

"She does? And you still got that frozen heart of yours."he replied smiling as she returned it.

Verona removed luna as she let go of eria hand from her mouth"what have we told you about biting people"verona asked her daughter

"Not to bite them."luna replied in a cute tone as eria like being a cousin already it seems.

"Thats right…though say sorry to your cousin"verona said gestuirng to eria as she set luna down. She waddled over to her before wrapping her arm around her side hugging her.

"Sorry"she softly said as she sat on the ground hugging her. Though eria just hugged her back smiling a little happy it seems.

"Its fine…at least you don't blow up the living room every week"eria said as dravan laughed at that. Then soon enough verona gave them breakfast as she had it made before she got up. While she ate eria explained her time at beacon with rogue. How the two got put on a team just like him and her dad. Then talked about a few of their adventures she brought up onxyia her partner.

Along with her goofball leader zane, but explained how he was gone which made rogue runaway along with several other reason. Their also explaining why they were here to try and find her sister. Their was also telling him how she lost her leg to rosemary. After a bit of time they soon left the tent.

They began to walk toward the large tent in the camp it seems. Luna held eria hand as she swung a little between her and verona. She flapped her little wings but giggled a little.

"Hmm so thats why your out here with the schnee heir to find your friends"verona asked

"Yes, though i'm surprised to hear i have an aunt now"eria coldy replied as verona was annoyed slightly by that.

"Okay are you usaully so cold it like i'm dealing with a procelian doll"she asked as dravan chuckled

"That how she is my dear, but if you want i can tell you the tale how i conquer this women heart"Dravan offered as it was interesting but not right now.

"Maybe later though i wonder how weiss, falk and lazuli are doing. Along with that stranger with us"Eria replied as the two told her stranger.

"You mean adam tarrus"verona corrected as it made eria go wide eyed at that name. That the infamous faunus terrosit leader helped them.

"Wait that madman is here?! Is that sick spider faunus ollie weaver here too?"eria asked as soon enough a familair voice called out to her dismissing these claims.

"Nah apperently that bastard went to menagerie it seems. Bull boy left the fang which is weird"lazuli said walking over with mai at her side.

"Hey your niece is awake how you feeling dear?"mai asked as eria thought for a moment.

"Oh i'm a little unwell but i'll be fine miss…"Eria tried to find the words as mai extended a hand.

"Mai gulur pleasure to meet you"mai replied as eria shook her hand. Then they continued to walk for a bit though eria noitced iris and dan with them. But iris held lazuli hand while dan held mai hand.

"So um back to that adam tarrus is here the guy who took blakes arm. Along with being associated with the spider faunus who my partner has immense hatred toward. Is here in this camp along with weiss who he proabbly hate"eria asked as lazuli just nodded.

This made her wonder if this could result in something really bad or something worse right now. Though they continued to walk through the camp until they arrived at a certain tent. The tent in question had a few tribes members taking care of some kids from the looks of it. It was a decent size tent as kids could be seen playing inside it.

Though a girl who seemed to be twenty four with a slender build to her. She had aubrun colored hair that reached her neck. Her skin was fair along with her eyes being violet colored. Her attire consited of a green skirt that reached near her ankles. But she wore a pink blouse with black lining it and some string. It seemed tight as it showed her bust, but she seemed close to her height. She also wore a green cloak with a daffdoil brooch holding it togehter.

The women looked up smiling at them"oh are you here to drop off your kids today?"the girl asked

"We are haru though meet my niece who i've just met"verona replied gesturing to eria as the women known as haru waved at her with a bright smile.

"Its a pleasure to meet you dear, i'm haru khushi the our nursery daycare attendant"haru replied as dan rushed over hugging her as she patted his head.

"Sorry for bitting iris yesterday"he apoligzed as she smiled patting his head.

'Thats quite alright dear…run along inside"haru replied as dan ran inside alongside iris. Someone walked over taking luna inside as the bat faunus stared in silence. But stuck her tongue out at lazuli who frowned at that.

"The heck did i do to make her hate me?"she asked as dravan chcukled

"Eh she get that from her mom she also very queit for a tot"dravan said as he felt someone pull his tail. Verona glared a little at him for saying that infront of her niece she just meeting.

"Dear stop before i tear your tail off, beside that we gotta go met with rae. If were going after that other crash ship. We need to make a plan right now if we wanna save them"verona remined as eria totally forgot about the other crashed ship. That meant falk may be worried about that uncle of his. She wonders who this rae is proabbly their leader.

"She right come on she'll be waiitng for us"mai added as they agreed to head over to raven tent to see if she coming up with a plan of action. Though right now in raven tent she was busy it seems. More imortantly looking at the damage of weiss back. It took some coaxing for a bit but she relented.

The tribe leader looked at the very old and deep scars on her back. Weiss felt embraced right now because her teammates mother was praticually seeing her nude right now. But she didn't even feel her touch her back at all.

"So..you can't even feel anything back here?"raven questioned as weiss nodded at her.

"Not really its just numb…after years of his so called punishments. Whitley probably has the worse of it…i hope wren doesn't suffer the same fate"weiss replied as raven looked down closing her eyes.

"I hope as well a parent should never strike her child. Though i've had to wash yang mouth out at times for her.."raven begun as weiss finished.

"Her very terrible puns and dirty jokes?"weiss asked smiling as raven smiled a little at that becuse she was right. She would have to wash that girl mouth at a young age.

"That right though cover yoruself up…we should go see about checking on that other crashed ship immediately."raven started as weiss pulled her shirt up. Raven begun to explain as weiss sat on the bed as she listneed.

"Oh i forgot about that…falk uncle was on that ship i recall. I hope he okay i rather not have him explain to his sister his uncle died"weiss added as raven shared the worrie.

"I do as well no one should lose a parent at all….like my niece"raven sadly added as she composed herself quickly continuing.

"Though their still a chance of bandits in the area, our tribe may be far and wide. But as of late some bandits have appeared in the area that have caused us some trouble. Though if their is a grimm knight out their we need to hurrie. Those things are very tough to kill…belive me"raven continued which peaked weiss interest

"You've ran into them before and haven;t told anyone about it?"weiss qeustioned as raven sighed

"Only one of them before the nevermore knight, though it was when i was looking for someone. I waited for the right moment to strike but i saw her shotgun blast to her chest. She barely reacted then slaughtered those attacking her. I'm lucky she didn't see me."raven replied

"So your saying that these things can't be killed?"weiss asked getting up quickly as she accidently bumped into a desk. The desk had a picture frame on it that fell foward smashing to the ground. While also knocking over a large white rectangular box that had dust on it as it clanked to the ground.

Weiss went wide eyed thinking she broke something important and expected the women to get mad at her. She immeiday closed her eyes expecting her to give her a tongue lashing for what she did.

"I'm..i'm sorry..i didn't mean it…i–"weiss begun before feeling a hand placed on her head. She opened her eye to raven patting her on the head.

"Relax you didn't break anything it was just an accidnet"raven reassured as she walked over picking up the picture frame. Glass dropped from the frame as she quickly picked it up depsoing of it in a nearby trash can. They may live in the wood but they won't liter in nature.

Weiss looked at the framed picture seeing a much younger looking raven in the picture. Alongside a much younger and clean shaven qrow in the picture. Their was also a few others in the framed pciture one being verona. But one stood out which was a women who had long flowing blonde hair. She had a set of bright green eyes with a scar on her right eyebrow. She held a lance in her hands smiling.

"Oh who that?"weiss asked raven pointing to the women as raven had a somber look on her face.

The women sighed carrasing the picture" a very old friend of mine i knew back then, along with being mai mother"raven answered

"That nice where is she right now, because that lance looks kinda like hers"weiss replied obviosuly mentioing mai lance she carried. She recalled it vidly but it looked like an extract copy of her.

The women looked down at the ground closing her eyes as weiss quickly figured out where she was. She kinda regretted digging up something recent maybe it seems.

"I'm sorry i didn't know she–"weiss begun but raven stopped her.

"Its fine dear, melissa bina her mother died about eight years ago. I've already grieved for her but i do miss her at times. She was one of the few who supported me and qrow when changed how our tribe works"raven replied as she set the picture frame down. Then she stood up gesturing for weiss to follow her.

"Thats terrible, i'm sorry for your loss "weiss said

"Call me raven dear, now lets go meet up with the others to dicuss our rescue plan"raven replied as weiss agreed on that following the women. Though as they left the metal box was still on the ground as a bit of light shined on it. On the case was a broach that was a rose colored silver and black.

They walked outside of the large tent to meet said group. Though the two noticed them already waiting for them it seems. Which made it easier to discuss the plan for the survivors ship.

"Hmph already coming to discuss our rescue plan to save those crash ship surviors?"raven questioned knowingly.

"Why whouldn't we? As a huntresses we need to help anyone in need of help. No matter the risk"weiss replied in confidence as the huntsman and hutnresses with them chuckled at that.

Verona nodded"That and not that long ago about most of our tribe splitted off from us"she replied to the three shock why their tribe would just do that. Weiss only hear small bits about it but heard how they became protectors of the innocents instead of being bandits.

"Why the heck would half of your tribe leave so suddenly?"lazuli commend on why they were down half their army praticually.

"So her and those loyal under her split off from our group. Their spread thin around the anima and in mistral. But lately her scouts have been seen in the area. I don't know where their new camp is but she been hounding us for days now. I'm starting to wonder if her men beat us to those survivors"raven finished as that did bring up a problem. But weiss wanted to make sure a certain pilot didn't lose his uncle.

"Look we should still go rescue those people. They shouldn't just suffer because of you all being too scared of a few thugs"weiss retorted as this made some of the tribes members look away from that.

Though raven simply smirk closing her eyes"alright though we'll just need to send a small group fo warriors with them. Dravan, verona and mai take about four of our warriors toward the crash site. Its close to that river bed if what they said is true. "Raven ordered as verona nodded.

"Got it mai go round up a few of our guys"verona ordered as mai went off to do just that.

"Oh i'll come too–"Weiss begun but she was stopped by lazuli.

"Sorry ice queen if what she said is true and their are bandits out their. If they see you theirs a chance of them kidnapping you. Then ransom you off or worse make you a slave."lazuli warned as that didn't sound pleasant for the heiress.

"I agree on that, why don't you stay here where its safe"eria supported

"Why should i? I can handle myself quite fine actually i'm not some dult who can't handle herself in a fight"weiss argued

"Look those two are right why won't you stay here and help out at the camp. Usually haru needs help with the kids at our nursery. You can also check on your friend to see how he's doing"raven stated as that didn't cross weiss mind until now. She wondered how falk was doing and wanted to check on him. Without arguing she sighed in defeat agreeing with them. Soon enough mai came back with some warriors to assit them with the crash. They soon started to make their way toward the crashsite to assist them. But unknown to them a small group of vernals bandits were on a nearby hill ready to follow them. Along with a certain grimm hybrid slowly making her way toward someone she called family.

This time we got to have a long awaited reunion with eria and her uncle, but she learns she has a...cousin? This was a doozy of a chapter as some of them venture to rescue the crashed surviors from that airship. Along with adam and lazuli seeming to swap some tales with each other.
