Chapter 21 teal: An Icy Heart Melted

A few hours past as the group continued to make their way through the forest toward the crashsite. They were maybe about three hours in and seemed to be closing in on the crashsite right now. With the area they told them they saw the ship crash. The tribemembers knew what they were talking about because it would be a appropriate palace for a ship to make an emergency landing. But while they walked they decided to chat about a few things.

Dravan walked with a large battleaxe in hand that he carried with ease.

"So you two got put on the same team just like me and my brother"dravan replied

"Yeah we did it we were quite lucky to be put on a team together"eria said as they continued their walk.

"I'll bet seriously though question does your uncle ever shut up? Because i've been married to him for four yeas now and he never shuts up"verona asked as her eye had a haze around it again. A dark blue haze like bat flew around ahead of them scouting it seems.

The bat faunus explained her semblance to her while they walked. It's called watchful eye, she can summon a small bat like creature to scout for her. Along with notifying her of any oncoming or nearby enemies in her area. She can see it through her right eye when she closes it.

"I'm with her seriously he talks so much like that port guy in your school"lazuli added as the jackal faunus tail wagged.

"Ah my favorite teacher back in my beacon days. I seemed to have gotten his flair for the dramatics"dravan replied as eria sighed because it seemed he did.

"For your information he doesn't shut up sometimes. Even if you beg him to stop talking, get used to it"eria coldly answered as verona groaned.

But immediately bounced back"eh i've gotten used to it by now, though i wanna sew his mouth shut sometimes"verona replied as they laughed at that.

"Me and you both, i've barely known him i already wanna tear my ears off"lazuli added

Eria smirked at that"though port did tell us that your team went on your first expedition together with him. Our team did as well which was surprising."eria brought up as dravan smiled at that.

"Good old port still slinging it with the hayley, what was your expedition dear?"dravan asked curiously what they did. Because his was dealing with large amount of grimm if he recalled.

"Yeah, i'm interested because rather hear something less dramatic from drav"a tribe member added

Eria thought for a moment about her first team expedition, it was nice at first. They went to investigate the grimm faunus rumors. Eventually finding piper and miyuki who were escaped test subjects of watts experiments. Then seeing her own leader try and kill her not even in control of his boide which scared her.

The snow dancer sighed breathing"it was just routine expedition a village had people going missing. Along with a grimm faunus being sighted their…she was one of those people being experimented on. If i recall she was maybe eight year old"eria started to some of the group shocked.

"Hold up they took kids?"mai asked shocked

"That aint right? How come we've never found these guys?"a tribewomen asked

Lazuli sighed rubbing her arm"look they were really good at hiding people, though i know how the rest goes. My fish eating brother told me how the rest went"lazuli decided to continue for eria so she didn't become upset which she appreciated.

"Apperenlty those two escaped and their town was being held hostage for a few months. That grimm faunus could control uras and used them to get supplies and some villagers away from town. But next thing that happens was the madmen who made the knights came their to take her and my…cousin away"lazuli continued gripping stinger tight in her hands.

"That bastard said some dumb code phrase to make my cousin follow his every command. Apparently almost killing his teammates in the process but fought back"lazuli added as dravan was shocked to hear that happened to his nieces team.

She sighed looking down"though my little brother managed to remove those mental suggestion just in the nick of time. But it seems…he fucking forgot one to force that bastard to make him kill some stupud bot. Now him and my dad are gone"lazuli finished as she decided to pick up pace walking ahead of them.

The group looked at each other for a bit though mai looked at her with a worried gaze.

"Your friend gonna be alright?"verona asked her niece

"Yes she seems very troubled right now it seems"dravan added

Eria triwled her bat a little"she's just upset she lost some family is all. I understand why but i'm wondering why she isn't with her family right now. Apparently her brother in vacou while the rest are in menagerie waiting for them"eria replied as mai looked over at lazuli who was walking ahead of them.

"Hmph that aint right…though you all hang back i'm going to talk to her real quick"mai replied as she began to walk after her houseguest. After a couple minutes she caught up to lazuli who was grumbling to herself.

"Stupid bastards using my family to get what they wanted. Along with killing them after they ran out of their uses"she grumbled to herself.

"Hey kid hold up a second"mai called out as lazuli glanced at her.

"Oh sup mrs. gulur am i going off the path of something?"lazuli replied

"No just wanting to check up on you is all. You seem pretty pissed off about what happened to your family"mai knowingly asked

Lazuli blew hair out her face"why wouldn't i? I already lost my cousin before then he comes back from the dead. My family was whole again then…my dad and him die. "Lazuli saldy replied as she looked at the ground.

The brnawhen tribemmeber patted her on the shoulder sighing"i know how you feel heck i've been where you were before"mai replied to lazuli confusion and wondered what she meant by that.

"What your family get in on some bad deal and end up dead too?"lazuli asked as mai shook her head

"Sort of, you see this lance i'm carrying"mai said gesutring to the lance in her hands. Lazuli looked at it for a second and it was a pretty good lance. Though as she looked at it the initial on it read M.B which was weird because her last name was gulur.

"Uh yeah a fancy stick is all and its got your initials on it"lazuli replied

"Wrong those initials are actually my mothers melissa bina"mai corrected to lazuli surrpsie.

"Why do you have your mother weapon?"she asked with curiosity.

Mai sighed smiling beginning her tale"you see about maybe seven to eight years ago. When i had iris i was going to go on a mission back then. But instead my mother went in my steed so i could spend time with my new daughter"mai begun as she looked at the sky which was blue smiling still.

"Apperently it was a routine mission to save a town from some slavers or bandits in the area. But they ddin't return after a month of being gone which worried all of us. After that raven immediately rushed over with qrow. They were about to switch for the next half a year. Both along with some warriors went off to look for her"mai continued as a small frown formed.

"Though when they came back raven was just crying her eyes out last i saw. Along with qrow being upset about something. Before i knew it i saw what they brought my mom signature weapon. I immedialty blamed them for sending her to die their. But over a year with help from my family i qucikyl figured out it wasn't their fault…she made that choice. Though…i still miss her sometimes wishing she saw her grandkids"mai finished as lazuli and her sat in silence for a bit. Mai rubbed her eyes as lazuli spoke.

"What does this have do with me?"lazuli questioned as mai smiled.

"That maybe you should be their for your family to help you with your grief. But you seem to have an important job right now. Finish it then go find your siblings"mai replied as lazuli stood in silence for a bit sniffing.

She rubbed her eyes"look…i know where they are, but i gotta make sure that girl finds her sister. Owe my cousin that much not being able to save him and dad."lazuli replied as mai understood. They continued their walk through the woods toward the crashsite while close by vernal group followed.

Though right now back at the main brnahwen tribe camp it was a little a busy right now. Because right now weiss was doing her best to help out at the daycare. She been able to deal with wren but dealing with several kids at once was troublesome.

But haru seemed to have an easier time handling them it seems along with the others. Weiss just got finished separating two kids from fighting as she sat near a table sighing.

"How can anyone have kids? Or even work with them?"she asked as haru laughed at that.

"Oh you get used to it after a long time. Though you can't say no to these cute little faces"haru said presenting luna who bleeped at her. Weiss smiled as haru took a seat holding luna as she messed with the women cloak.

As they sat their for a bit they started up some conversation.

"So a schnee is actually in our tribal camp. Its very strange seeing one of you here actually"haru stated

"Let me guess you think i'm going to complain about the woods and its too hot out here"weiss replied as haru nodded

"Well don't, despite my proper upbringing i've actually enjoyed the woods. My granfdather took me and my siblings on a few camping trips before his passing"weiss added

"That sound nice, i've heard alot about your grandfather and the legacy he left behind. Along with hearing how he treated everyone with kindness and respect no matter their species"haru said as weiss looked down at that.

The heiress was very happy to hear some of her grandfather legacy was intake. But it made her upset that so called father of hers ruined it. He married into their family just for the name and he expects us to treat him like their father.

She sighed heavily"he did my grandfather believed that every faunus should be treated with respect. He was such a kind man that made other respect the name schnee. I wanted to be just like him but…he had to ruin my family name"weiss said with a growl in her throat.

Haru sighed as she handed luna to weiss as weiss took her holding her."let me guess your upset about jacque ruining your grandfather legacy. That you think you need to continue this grand legacy for your grandfather. "Haru replied knowingly as weiss nodded.

"I do because i respected him for his accomplishments in life…and he…and he tarnished it with his mines and how he's treated faunus"Weiss replied as luna held her hand messing with her figner as she let it happen.

"But…but i didn't really have a choice to make in the matter. I wanted to continue my grnadafathers legacy for him. It seems winter and whitley are following in the same footsteps he layed for us"weiss added

Haru simply giggled"you know i feel like i'm sort of in your shoes right now"she replied to the confusion of weiss it seems.

"What do you mean by that?"She asked the nursery caretaker

Haru sighed looking down placing her hand undenreath her chin"you see i wasn't always apart of this tribe. I ran away from something that i didn't want any part of at all. At first i thought i didn't want to continue this grand legacy that been going on for years now"haru begun as she looked straight ahead.

"When rae found me in the woods about six years ago. They took me in and tried to make me go back to this destiny of mine. But i told them i didn't want to continue doing it i rather live a simply life. They…seemed to agree with it letting me live here with them. But good old rae and qrow still made me pursue this legacy i've been set for. Though i've accepted it now, but i still enjoy being a daycare attendant"haru said smiling.

"Something i've always wanted to do when i got older and she gave me it. Its nice that your continuing his leg–"haru begun before weiss yelped.

The heiress reeled her hand back from luna as she bit the girl hand. A bit of blood was drawn as weiss noitced she had a pair of sharp bat fangs.

"Luna we don't bite people, what did your mother say"haru said picking her up wagging her finger in her face telling her no. luna looked down at the ground upset.

"Not to do it…sorry"luna apoligzed as weiss looked at her hand slightly bled.

"Its alright…i'm going to go get this bandaged real quick. I might as well go check on falk actually will you be fine by yourself here?"weiss asked as haru nodded

"I will, though you need to go in timeout for five minute sweetie"haru said to luna as the caretaker went to put the bat faunus in timeout. While weiss left the tribes nursery and daycares. She didn't have to walk long as she walked into the small tent falk was set up in. they placed them in their with a bed as they came to check on him every couple hours.

once inside she saw his leg raised by some pillows with a makeshift cast from some herbs and other materials in the camo it seems. He wore some light black short on as he was staring at the tent ceiling.

"Ughhh this is so boring feathers better bring my uncle back in one piece"falk stated

"Um i'm sure they will"weiss called out to his shock as he looked at her surprised to see her here.

"Oh weiss um hey….uh..hows it hanging?"falk greeted nerovusly as she just waved at him. Then she walked over as the bite on her hand wasn't bad. It already stopped bleeding but she wanted to come check up on him.

"Nothing much i was helping out at the daycare they have here. Though eria cousin bite me"weiss said gesturing to her hand as he chuckled at that.

"Better make sure you didn't let her get a taste for blood"he joked as she giggled at that covering her mouth.

"She is a bat faunus after all…though i'm sure they don't drink blood"weiss replied as the two sat in an awkward silence. The pilot was trying to find a certain topic to talk about until she brought up one.

"So uh falk what exactly uh happened to your father if you don't mind me asking?"Weiss hesitantly asked as falk went slightly wide eyed at this. Then he messed with the patches on his jacket.

"Uh why bring up my pops all of a sudden?"falk questioned softly.

Weiss just wanted to know about his family and him, maybe see if he liked her instead of using her for family name like jacque did.

"Nothing its just…your mother mentioned how he passed away a very long time ago. If you don't wanna–"weiss begun but he raised a hand stopping her.

"Your okay guessing you wanna hear about how my pops, get comfy"falk replied as weiss took a nearby seat close to the bed. They stood their for a bit as falk carrassed the patches on his jacket.

"You see about ten years ago my dad was still around at the time. Back then he flew with the atlas military, best in his class. Along with being apart of the atlas valkiryies"Falk said as weiss was surpirsed by this. Because she heard how those fighter pilots were the best in the atlas fleets. Being highlsy skilled aerial pliots that are like the ace ops but with flying.

"My old man was one of the best on that squad, along with all of them becoming pretty close. Everyday i waited for him to come back from one of his mission weather that being escorts, grimm elimination, hummanity aid you name it. He come back and tell me about what he did during those trips."falk continued smiling slightly but turned to a frown.

"Then one day he has this mission over in mistral to deal with some grimm. Apparently a swarm of manitcoes have been attacking civilian ships in the area alot. He got sent out with most of his squad to deal with it. When he got their they did their thing killing the manticores in the area. But…something unexpected happened."Falk added taking a deep breath to calm himself.

"What happened…you don't need to continue if you don't want to"weiss reminded as he smiled a little.

"Its fine, you see while i was waiting for him for him to come back from his mission. I hear the doorbell ring i rush to it to greet him. But three people from his squad came to our door with terrible news. That my dad died saving about four ships from being destoryed by a swarm of manticore. Guy flew straight into them killing all those grimm. They came to our door telling us this i was heart broken hearing this. But they gave me something to have him with me always"falk continued gesturing to the patches on his jacket.

Weiss looked at him a little happy to hear that his father seemed a little like her grnadafather.

Falk rubbed his eyes leaning back" I miss him at times but…i just hope he smiling wherever he is right now. Happy he did one last good deed before he passed"falk finished as they stood in silence for a bit.

"That seems very nice kinda reminds me of my grandfather"weiss replied slightly smiling as he chuckled at that.

"Let me guess the great nicholas would tell you all about his adventures and bestowed some wisdom upon you?"falk replied as weiss nodded at that placing her hands on her lap.

"He did it's nice hearing you talk about your family like that. All my family is right now is torn apart. My own sister wasn't around much after she joined the military. Whitley and wren were always being taught by jacque to be just like him…along with me. My mother did her best to protect us. "weiss begun as she felt a little comfortable sharing it with him as he listened.

"Though right now i even consider my team…like family now"weiss added

"Guess that why your so adamant about heading to haven to find your team"falk replied

"Yeah i want to reunite with them. I know blake in menagerie but i just hope she okay along with the others and nothing worse hapepned to them"weiss added. Flak looked at her for a moment deciphering the young shcnee in front of him. All he heard about the schnee was that nicholas was a great man known to care about all. Though he guessed that she was also targeted for assaisntion, told how to live her life, along with that hearing she been abused. He could've only imgianed what kind of hell of a life she went through from that man.

"Hey weiss…what exactly did you go through while at altas?"falk asked

Weiss looked toward him as she recalled all the hateful things that her father did to her. She shivered slgihtyl remembering all the lashes she took from the whip.

"It..wasn't a simpel life. I wanted to be like my grandfather and i believe faunus were just simply people. Jacque however didn't see it like that and everytime i spoke out of turn…well..he'd…i rather not say it"weiss said rubbing her arm.

"Then show me instead of telling me"falk asked softly. Weiss was a little hesitant about showing him it since she had feeling for him. But as she sat their he lifted up his shirt to reveal the beowulf scars.

"Don't forgot i've got scars too sweet cheeks"falk replied which made weiss smile slightly but it would be fair since he knows about the abuse now.

She turned back from him as she lifted up her shirt slightly to reveal her back to him. Even without removing it fully he could see a good majority of her scars. Without saying anything that would make her uncormrtable he gently reached out his hand and put it on the most recent scars on her back. Weiss didn't even flinch from his touch.

"Can you tell that i'm touching it?"falk questioned. Weiss only shook her head.

"Not really. Any pain that i would feel their is numb. This is from all the whipping he gave me and my brothers"weiss replied

"He never showed any form of love to me, mother, winter, whitley or wren. All he wanted was the name and what it came with."she added

Falk slowly made her move her shirt back down before she knew it. He gently pulled her into an embrace to her shock as he placed a hand on the back of her head rubbing it. She felt a little warm right now from this.

"That man shouldn't have ever been your father. In my opinion bastard deserves to be burn at the stakes for doing this. Let hope those detectives and ironwood huminalte the hell out of him when they slap the cuffs on him"falk stated as weiss just buried her head into his shoulder.

She slightly chuckled but had a few tears welling up"maybe but…i just hope i can make my grandfather proud with what i'm doing."weiss replied as falk held the embrace.

"He will…he'd be very proud that you became a huntresses, you've got the grit, compassion, and good looks of one."Falk replied but went wide eyed at that part as he slowly pushed her off blushing slightly. She had tear on her cheek as she wiped it away blushing slightly.

"Umm wait i dind't…uh…crap i mean well your a good looking..wait no..uh"falk kept stuttering with his words. Though weiss placed a figner on his lips shushing him removing it.

She gave him an icy stare as the two eye met as she wanted to aska certain question.

"Falk…are you just being nice to me because of my family name?"weiss simply asked as he was taken aback by this.

"Uhh okay just gonna say that i aint like jacque. Because for one i became smitten with you because you looked very cute at that dance. Heck i only figured out you were a schnee after the dance. I was more interested in the girl than her name. "Falk admitted truthfully to her surprise.

Weiss wrapped her arms around herself looking down"really? Even if..my family so messed up right now. Along with all these scars on my back?"weiss nervously asked as he just placed a hand on her head rubbing it.

"Heh not everyone family perfect, in my opinion i don't really mind those scars. Every scar tells a story and something you need to conquer to better yourself"falk said with a smile as weiss looked at him for bit. As they stood in silence for a bit she just stood up simply dusting herself off. Before falk knew it she planted a kiss on his cheek making him blush as she slightly blsuhed.

"Thank you for that…maybe after uh…you get better we can try this dating thing out"weiss suggested as he was flustered right now but simply nodded. The girl soon left him to his own vices as she decided to spend her time doing something.

Though right now in raven tent she was deep in thought right now. Because right now she was looking at the case that fell early. She wiped the dust off it as she caressed the brooch on it. The women lost two very close friends over the years. That being her team leader summer rose, who she still believe is out their somewhere. But she slowly losing hope by the day wondering if this search was helping no one.

Everysince the day during that dam mission they went on and encountering that witch. Along with her brother getting his leg cut off which he doesnt mind now. But she just wants her niece to have her mother back. Even with her semblance their bonds have fractured it seems. Though the other friend she lost was someone who helped her make what their tribe is now today.

Raven sighed as she set the case down and slide it underneath her bed. Then she walked over to the picture that fell early picking it up. She placed a hand on the picture remembering the good times.

Many year ago.

It was many years ago in the anima somewhere right now. Though right now in the woods close to when the branwhen tirbe was still bandits back then. Their was a small group of kids playing in the woods it seems. The first was raven with her twin brother qrow as the two were running away from someone.

"Ughh sis keep running before they catch us"qrow said huffing sprinting for his life.

"I know they already got verona and lee, but where the heck is meli?"raven said as they were playing a game called huntsman and bandits. They were the bandits for this game while two kids were chasing them. Two of their teammates were already taken by them as they were the last one. The only way they could win if they retrieve the loot to win the game. That loot being some candy the kids had.

As they ran through the woods for a bit one kid tried to tackle qrow. But missed as he landed on the ground but quickly picked himself up.

"Come back bandit scum"he stated smiling as qrow turned around spitting his tongue at him.

"Nice try you'll never get m–"Qrow begun before he tripped over a tree brancher falling flat on his back. As he layed their the other kid tag him as he groaned.

"That another point for us now come back here future bandit leader"a girl playfully said rushing to raven who was slightly getting tired. The girl was gaining on her as raven laid her eyes on their prize. Set on a cut down stump was the loot in question they layed. She kept trying to run like her life depend on it.

As she kept running slowly down about to get touch. Soon enough from the side someone tackled the girl to the ground tumbling. Raven stopped slightly to see a girl with bright blonde hair and greenish blue eyes.

"Meli how the heck have–"raven begun before the girl also known as melissa stopped her.

"Stay hidden i'll tell you later get the loot!"she shotued as raven stopped for a moemnt before sprinting toward it. She soon grabbed the small box of the swee treats in it holding in the air for victory.

"The bandits win!"raven declared as the two groaned a little at that. Soon enough from the woods close behind walking was a younger verona. Along with with a boy with brown hair with orange eyes. He wore a simple pair of black shorts with a green shirt.

"Fianlly seriously i thought we were going to lose because of this one bad luck"verona said gesturing to qrow who glared at her.

"oh shut up bat ears at least i didn't get caught first"qrow retorted but she countered

"I didn't get caught first lee did"verona said pointing at lee who frowned.

"Sorry that they found me because meli ratted me out"lee said pointing to melissa who smiled at that.

"Come on hiding their was such a bad spot, you were gonna be found anyway"melissa replied smugly as he groaned at that. Though raven walked over with the box as she passed out even pieces to everyone. Lee scratched his head at this to all their confusion.

"Why you giving them it? They lost"lee reminded to the the two loser of their game.

"Yeah sis didn't you listen to our tribe motto survival of the fitness out here"qrow reminded as he bit into his chocolate bar.

Raven shrugged her shoulder eating her"ok so this was just a game and they did pretty good. In my opinion is just the huntsman job to protect our world from grimm and any other dangers"raven argued as the group seemed to wanna argue with her. But to her surprise they sort of agreed with her on that.

"Your right though everyone does deserve their fair share"verona replied

"Yeah all of this is stuff we've saved up the last month for this game"qrow added on in agreement

Melissa just smiled"rae right their nothing is sharing our goods with each other. And she right those huntsman are here to protect everyone...though nice speech rae"melissa complimented as raven smiled at that. The group continued to eat their winning sweets as some discussed even at their age. How they wished their tribe didn't force them to become bandits instead they wanted to become protectors

Present

The tribe leader sighed smiling at this placing the picture back down on the table.

"Even at a young age all of us wanted to change how the tribe worked. We went from bandits to protectors of the innocent. Though i wish it didn't come to one close friend being lost and her daughter missing her by the day. "Raven said to herself as she paced around the room.

"Everysince you left summer…i decided now was the time to change how we did things. Me and qrow finally coming back here to face our father. Winning in that dual against him but then trys to kill us for the title of leader. Not before you save us before he dealt the killing blow"raven added thinking of her friend melissa.

Raven walked toward the tent flaps ready to exit but took a deep breath exhaling" you two daughters are just like in everyway"raven finished meaning ruby and mai. Then she walked outside hoping that group had success in their recue attempt.s

The group were slwoly walking through the woods right now. They were making good progress and hoped they find what their looking for. As they continued to walk they soon god to a small clearing with a small stream close by. But what they quickly noticed was near the stream was a large mistral ship torn to shred bearing the mistral flag.

Verone smiled as she deactived her semblance since it takes alot to use it at times.

"We found them what luck and it seems the ship made it"verona said urprised as the group slowly walked toward the ship incase they thought they were bandits.

"Yeah though i don't see anyone here?"mai replied

"Maybe their inside the ship holding out, they haven't been crashed that long"a tribe member suggested

Lazuli though cupped her chin hoping she didn't find falk dead uncle in here. She rather not break the news to him and sora back in atlas.

"That could be a possibility but lets just hope they made it out okay"lazuli replied with worrie.

"I agree though…didn't you say a grimm knight attacked the ship?"dravan questioned wondering if that knight could be in the area. Which meant they could run into some seriosus trouble soon.

Eria held out tundra incase their attack"they did but last i saw it went flying out of the ship. I think her wings were damaged from the explosion maybe. She might be on foot though lets just–"Eria begun before a rifle shot rang out. They all stopped dead in their tracks forming a small defnesive perimeter. Infront of verona on the ground was a smoking hole probably from a bullet hole.

The bat faunus looked toward the ship as the glare from a scope could be seen.

"Step back bandit scum! You aint getting away this time!"someone shotued from the ship sounding female.

This made the group immediately confused and concerned"wait..bandits..crap vernal guys must have come after them already"mai replied

"Seems so though we need to desolate the situation right now. They may view us as threats dear"dravan said knwoignly as verona was way ahead of him.

The bat faunus stepped forward as she unsheathed her rifle setting in on the ground. Then she put her hands up as she walked forward toward the group.

"We aren't bandit! Were from the brnawhen tribe, raven sent us here to see if their were any survivors!"verona called out waiting for a response.

It took a moment before someone called back"why should we believe you?! Those guys from early attacked us saying their from the branwhen tribe. When did you guys decide to become bandits again!"a male but familiar voice to lazuli called out.

Verona tried to think of a proepr response but lazuli beat her to it"yo Pyke its me feathers, your dumb nephew good friend!"lazuli called out casually stepping forward toward the ship since they weren't far. Though soon enough from the cracked hull of the ship someone stepped out.

Their stood a young man with light tan skin and green eyes. His hair was brown and short styled into a bowl cut. A noticeable feature of him was that his right arm was bigger than the left. Their was also some mehcaincal bits from what seems to be a prosthetics.

He wore a brown long sleeves sirt with a yellow dash across the middle. The shirt only has one sleeve, with the other arm being covered by an ornage brown arm warmer. He also wore a brown bandiloier with three pockets, the middle of which being yellow as well. He wears green cargo pants with metallic kneepas, as well as brown boots with a yellow dash going down the,

Pyke studied her for a second before smiling"hey lazuli…great to see you again. Though why are you with bandits?"he asked as she rolled her eyes.

"They aint the guys who attack you man, apperently some of their tribe left wanting to be bandits now. Fate brought you to us"lazuli replied joking as pyke stared at her.

"Ha ha very funny though…"pyke took a second thinking standing their in silence. Then he looked at the group noticing a very familiar face that being dravan. But soon enough he smiled before turning to the ship.

"Hey everyone come on out their safe they aint with those bandits"pyke called out as soon enough about six people slowly stepped out from the ship. One of those being a mistral officer with a rifle in hand. While the rest seemed to be cvilians from the ship.

"Are…are you sure because they could be with those bandits"a female cvilain asked

"Yeah seriously we already lost most of the people because of that thing attacking the ship. "The mistral officer added with concern.

Pyke waved his numb at them"oh their fine i know this one also aren't you dravan hayely?"pyke asked exictied it seems as the jackal faunus walked over with the others. He laughed a little at that smiling at him
