While the end of capture the flag was happening on the banks of the river, two dimensional travelers sat up among the trees and watched.

"Damn, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said as she pushed her blonde locks from her eyes. "Did that version of you just take down those Ares kids without even getting wet first?"

Percy grinned, his sea green eyes bright. "Yeah. I look forward to seeing what else little me is capable of. The urge to interfere is strong though."

She placed a hand on his arm. "I know. I want to as well, but we must not. We are allowed to witness our alterative selves but not interfere. I would love to go down there and fed Luke a knuckle Sandwich."

Percy chuckled as she settled down on his chest to watch. "Oh look, little Annabeth just pushed him into the water. Didn't even drag him in this time."

"At least there wasn't a massive hell hound this time. I still have nightmares where Chiron wasn't fast enough and we both ended up as lunch."

"Even back then, you would have stood with me?" He asked as he ran his hands through her hair. She sat up to look her boyfriend in the eyes.

"Of course, even then, Seaweed Brain. I love you."

"I love you too, Wise Girl."

They shared a kiss before getting up to move to a new position. They knew what would be happening next. At least they had not come alone. Annabeth heard Percy give his best whisle and Blackjack landed before them.

"Don't call me boss." Percy grumbled to the Pegasus. "Milady first."

"Such a gentleman." She smirked and climbed up first.

As they flew upwards, Annabeth bent the Mist so no one down there could see them. They were eager to see this new journey for their other selves and see what changed along the way. In the depths of Annabeth's heart, she hoped they would one day have what she and her Seaweed Brain had. Only time would tell, and time had a way of keeping its secrets close to it's chest.
