"Well that can be answered in plenty of ways Ryu-kun, but I think to be the strongest is to protect those you care about"

"Then I promise to become the strongest so that I can protect you always"

That's exactly what he set out to do

The Rebirth of Lightning

I was strong in fact the strongest in my clan, no one could stand in my way to become the strongest. I trained every waking moment, I had to do so there was no point in trying if I was just going to half ass it. Some in my clan say it was a result of my distinct want to train no matter the conditions mentally or physically. Others say it was destine to happen, my birth was interesting to say the least.

February 21st, 1992 was the day I came into existence, I honestly don't remember it. Yet the clan never let me forget, my earliest memory is of my clan elders informing my mother that I was special, the one to bring the clan back in to power. I was to thrust the clan into the major leagues yet again, to reclaim the status we once had and leave the shadow casted over us from our obscurity. Just like our great ancestor Hajime Kashimo.

My mother was a direct descendant of Hajime Kashimo making me one as well, my mother and I are the last of his great legacy the main branch. Thus we had expectations put on us by the elders and the rest of the clan. The second major memory I have after that was the recanting of my birth by my caretaker Saya.

Within the exact moment my mother's water broke, the clouds darken around the entire area of the Gifu Prefecture. By the time the medical professionals arrived to administer pain relievers the heavens weep. When I was finally in my mother's arms it was documented that largest Super bolt that has ever been recorded in modern time struck. In that same moment my mother's face adorned a shocked look upon noticing under both eyes I had three lightning shaped lines, with the ones on the left side glowing bright blue just as the Super bolt struck. In the corner of the room one of the few female elders was quick to take note of the strange phenomenon that just occurred while everyone was distracted by the echo of the Super bolt.

Thus begun the high praise as well as the crippling seclusion, my only friends were my caretaker Saya and training. Everyone else was either in awe of me or avoided me due to my birth hindering whatever plans they had. That was better than the elders they viewed me as a weapon they can just use to solve their issues in the future. It didn't matter at all as long as I have Saya and my mother they were my world without them I would be alone, and I truly don't think I would be able to survive that loneliness. So I made a promise, I would protect both my mother and Saya from any curse or curse user, and so I trained even harder than I ever did before to break past my limits.

Five years later, I was 13 and I bested everyone in combat within the clan, some even touting that I could one day defeat the Gojo clan's ace. The prized wielder of the six eyes and the limitless technique. Setting myself a new goal, since defeating the best fighters in my clan I decided I will be stronger than Gojo Satroru. That goal didn't last long though.

Flashback

February 22nd, 2005

Walking down a path he's rarely travels he is following behind his mother and Saya. 30 minutes earlier his mother asked Saya and him to occupancy her on a walk to pick something up. Not really listening to the conversation in front of him his thoughts drifted off into something he has been struggling with.

"(I don't know what else I need to do to make a domain work, hhuhhhh what else am I missing)" dropping his head the strongest Hajime remains confused on how to make his domain. So absorbed in his thoughts he fails to notice they stopped by a house and Saya say something, until she whacks him in the arm.

Focusing on her now he looks up "Ryu you need to pay more attention to what your mother is saying." She finishes with a sigh

Giggling at their exchange Ryu mother moves her hand to cover her mouth. "Saya you need to be nicer to him, Ryu's birthday was yesterday."

Puffing her checks out." Be that as it may Kanko-sama he needs to pay attention when his mother needs him."

Scratching the back of his head Ryu gives an awkward smile. "Sorry."

Look at her son and his caretaker." Apology accepted Ryu, but Saya I've told you to stop using that suffix already just calling me by my first name Kanko is fine."

"Your right Kanko-sa ...Kanko" the caretaker finished with a nod

Smiling at Saya for the lack of formality." Good now let's head in Takashi should be waiting for us."

The trio enters the house walking into the living room once all of them gather the group can hear a voice come from the back of the house. "Come on back I have it waiting back here for ya." Doing exactly what he said the group heads to the back of the house where they see a small older man hammering down super-heated katana blade. Putting the blade into water container he takes off his mask, looks to the group and nods.

"Good your here" old man Takashi hops to his feet and pulls a box off a work bench. Handing it to Kanko "Exactly what you two ordered."

A look of confusion appears on Ryu's face. "What did the both of you order together?" Both Kanko and Saya looked at him a genuine smiles.

"Saya and I decide to get you something special for your birthday!" Kanko hands her son the box.

Opening his present he shocked by what's inside he screams. "WHAT IS THIS A CURSE TOOL?" pulling the weapon out of the box the he finds Bo staff in his hands. "IS THIS A SPEICAL GRADE CURSE TOOL?" He twirls the weapon around getting a feel for it.

Saya excited that Ryu appears to be in love with his weapon gives him a hug. "Your mother and I put in this request almost 3 years ago. Seeing you so determined to get strong, we felt there had to be away to help you accomplish that and help support you!"

"Indeed they did boy they wanted to make sure you have something else to rely on, and it's not just a regular Bo Staff once charged by your curse energy I think you be for a good surprise. I used a sliver copper alloy in the middle for better conductivity the main body is carbon steel."

"All that's left is to name it."

Beaming with a sense of responsibility he instantly thinks of a name for his new weapon. "Slumbering Wrath is going to be the name."

Nodding in approval the blacksmith grins. "Good choice, but if you'll excuse I have to get back to it."

"Right thanks Old man we'll see you around." Ryu waves good bye as he starts to head for the exit with his mother and care giver giving their thanks as well.

"Thanks, not just for the weapon but wanting to support me Kaa-san, Saya." He smiles at both of them

With the Bo staff attached diagonally to his back they were about to begin their trip home, only for Ryu to feel a chill run down his spine spinning around instantly he sees a muscular man with mid-length straight black hair that reaches to his ears, and he has thin black eyebrows and a scar on the corner of his right lip.

Putting himself in between this newcomer he shields Kanko and Saya. "Who are you and what are you doing here, you're not from this village." Seeing an impressed look on the strangers face Ryu gets a sinking feeling in his gut.

Fushiguro Toji could admit it he was impressed the brat noticed he was behind him, the only other one that was able to accomplish the same feat had the six eyes. He honestly didn't believe the boy's cousin on how strong he was, if anything was an indication on whether he strong or not noticing him was. He might actually enjoy this plus he already got his 20 million up front; doing a bounty like this one was interesting he hasn't seen someone hate the bounty so much that they were willing to pay first and see results later. "Well time to get to work then." He says to himself while smirking.

Finally acknowledging the brat. "That's pretty impressive brat not just anyone can sense that I'm behind them, maybe your cousin Hiro wasn't wrong you may be worth the hype." Hacking up a purplish ball into his hand it grew until it turned out to be a caterpillar curse with a baby face that snaked its way around Toji's torso. The curse spits the handle of a katana into his extend hands and all hell breaks loose.

Ryu didn't understand what was happening one second this stranger was talking about his cousin betraying him. The next moment he is trying to defend himself from a spinning back kick, failing to do so he gets sent crashing into the wall of the house they just left.

Moving pass the brat's mother and care taker, Toji walk's up slowly to the down form of Ryu and watches as he tries to quell his rattled brain to no avail. Reaching out he grabbed him by the hair and lifted him up. "You have to do better than that if you have any hope of surviving this."

Moving to the right Toji dodge the combined attack from Kanko and Saya putting themselves between him and his target. "Saya get Ryu out of here now I'll handle him." Saya hesitates before heading back to Ryu.

"Hai Kanko-sama" Saya puts Ryu on her back and takes off running.

Looking at their attacker Kanko Amps up her curse energy. "Why are you attacking us we have never done anything to you!" Her words come out in a snarl

Yet he was calm, as if he was just sipping tea on a Sunday afternoon. "Money of course, I don't care if you're a saint or a devil as long as I get the right amount anyone becomes a target." He stretches out his shoulder's readying himself for conflict.

Activating her curse technique three shinigami form around her sparking with electricity the first being a horned tiger, second a two headed bear, third a three tailed fox. "Then you leave me no choice other than to curse you, DIE." The fox was the first one to move vanishing directly behind Toji, launching him forward with its tails where the tiger was waiting.

The tiger bit down missing, due to Toji course correcting midair. Landing a Shadow loomed over him, moving to the left he watched as the two headed bear destroyed the area he was just in.

"(Her curse technique allows her to summon these electric based shinigami just like Nue, the fox focus on speed and ambushes, the bear power and defense , the tiger is balance between the two killing the tiger first will leave her at a disadvantage. These are all things I can handle)" The inventory curse swallows the katana and spits out a large Japanese broadsword with fur tsuba and a dark handle. He moves in to in act his plan.

Vanishing, Kanko is only left with an assortment of after images popping up all around her. Biding her time she waited for him to makes his move. He wasted no time in doing so, appearing a few feet in front of her ready to strike.

The tiger moved to confront him, just what he hope for. Pulling his sword back he swung, the tiger was bisected. Seeing her shinigami get cut in half instantly caused her as well as the shinigami to make space from her opponent. "(He cut through my shinigami like paper, this is bad.)" Memories of Ryu and Saya flash in her head, steeling her resolve she gets into a fighting stance. "(As long those two got away its okay.)"

Saya ran holding Ryu on her back, It's the only thing she could do. From here she could see ice everywhere houses, people, animals all covered in ice, what the hell was going on. Just then an explosion went off in the village gaining her attention. The blast woke her passenger, and left her with a terrified look. Placing Ryu down she watches him gain consciousness.

"Ryu...…Ryu are you okay?" He leans up from the grass using one of his arms to support himself. "Ahh move slowly you were just unconscious."

"Right" Looking around for his mother he doesn't see her, his face takes on a look of dread. "Saya where is Kaa-san." She looks down not wanting to tell him. "SAYA WHERE IS SHE? Still not answering tears start to flow from her eyes, grabbing both of her shoulders at this point he shakes her. "WHERE IS SHE?"

Her voice was lower than a whisper. "She stayed behind and told me to take you, I'm sorry Ryu but we need to go." Hearing him get up, she looks at him seeing a harden expression take control of his face with his tone completely devoid of emotion. "Saya you need to head back to the house and hide, I'm going to bring Kaa-san back then were leaving."

"But Ryu we need to ….."

"THAT WASN'T A QUESTION….." calming himself "Saya leave I'll be back in a bit." Not waiting for a response he activates his curse technique. "Curse Technique Amplification: Falsity of the Thunder God." His body glows, crackling with blue lightning as the lightning shaped birthmark on the left side of his face glows a bright blue.

Once activating Falsity of the Thunder God the technique allows the user to strip the electrons from atoms in the surrounding area stopping them around his body, this grants them the ability to become solid in a show of large crackling lightning when touched by his body or curse energy. The technique grants many forms of application allowing the user to now manipulate lightning itself.

Vanishing with a crack of thunder Ryu left to save his mother, Saya seeing him leave begins to cry even more, before trying to leave. Turning she sees a white haired monk with chin-length hair, an irregular line of dark plum pink running horizontally across the back of their head to the front. Wearing a plain monk robe of dark blue, with the innermost layer be white all while displaying a blank expression.

("Good another one"). Moving a hand below their mouth they channeled a freezing mist. "Curse technique: Frost Clam". Saya tries to escape but couldn't out run it. Now frozen in place with a look of fear smeared on her face.

A pleased smile sets on the face of the monk. "When he awakes Sukuna-sama will be pleased with the ingredients I choose."

Arriving at the battlefield he's greeted by the dead forms of his mother two shinigami Tiger and Bear. Ignoring their forms he moves deeper into the destruction to locate his mother.

A tree comes flying into the opposite end of the field, Ryu spots the injured form of his mother he moves into action. Before he could make it to his mother her last shinigami is cut to pieces by the man who started this mess.

After cutting down the last of her shinigami Toji lets out a breath. "Those last two shinigami were a bit tough, but predictable." Moving in on Kanko downed form he points the Split Soul Katana in front of him and vanishes.

Moving as fast as possible Ryu runs towards his mother. "(MOVE, MOVE, MOVE)". Making it there before Toji, his mom gasps at his sudden arrival; looking into her eyes he sees a sudden look of sadness.

"Wuhhh lucky." He lets out sigh at being able to make it in time. "Kaa-san it's okay I promised I'd to protect you and Saya, I had a happy life anyway make sure to get Saya she should be at the house." Closing his eyes sacrificing himself with a large smile so that Saya and his mother could live was an easy choice, after all they were everything to him he wouldn't hesitate to do it over and over again.

Appearing behind Ryu Toji smirks. "What a good son, I'll be sure to leave them be." Plunging the sword through his back and out of his stomach.

Waiting for pain he felt nothing, only hearing the sound of the blade piercing flesh. Opening his eyes his soul lurched.

His mother had the sword in her chest, fearing to look down he forces his chin to hit his chest. Seeing Toji's arm fully extended through his body. Not feeling a thing nor seeing any wound, it was as his body wasn't there.

In that exact moment his curse technique advanced to its full form, his techniques true name is Boundless. Since the birth of Gojo Satoru curse spirits have grown exponentially stronger, it was the world's way of balancing out the playing field. Just like curse spirits techniques have tried to catch up and adapt to modern times. With success the Boundless technique was born through Hajime Ryu, the antithesis to Limitless.

This is a mutation of Hajime Kashimo lightning/ electricity curse technique. This gives the user complete control over electrons at an atomic level via curse energy resulting in 4 techniques with Ryu unlocking Curse Technique: Void. Similar to the Gojo clans Infinity it is designed to keep the user out of harm's way. Moving even more electrons in a definite wave function once the field around the user sense's something, via curse energy it shoots the electrons to their peak. Allowing the user and anything the user extend the technique to, to quantum tunnel through anything thus making them intangible or Void of matter and space.

Coughing up blood Kanko eyes did a complete 180 forming a bright smile. "Ryu-kun its okay, a mother shouldn't outlive their children." Continuing to smile. "I want you to live a happy life, make sure you eat your vegetables and travel the world and make plenty of friends. Okay I want you to prom….." Her body fell over never getting to finish her last words as Toji pulls his sword out of her and through Ryu.

Running to pick up his mother's body, he slips in her blood covering half of his body. Picking himself up he finally makes it to her. Grabbing her rapidly cooling body he let out a terrified scream. "KAAA-SAANNN NO NO NO NO NO NO NO PLEASE WAKE UP." Squeezing her body even tighter his tears break past his eyes blurring his vision.

"I'M SORRY PLEASE PLEASEEEEE I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO IT."

"KAA-SAN I'M SORRY."

Hearing a noise behind him he rounded on Toji and directed all his hate at him. "IT'S NOT MY FAULT." Pointing a finger at Toji. "IT'S YOUR FAULT, THIS ALL HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOU MY KAA-SAN WOULD STILL BE HERE."

"I"

"WILL"

"KILL YOU"

"Oi Oi brat I was aiming for you, don't blame me because activated your technique" he moves his hand to rub the soot off of his cloths. Suddenly a wall of ice forms around both Toji and Ryu. Uraume lands on the top of the wall scanning the area they just enclosed till spotting Toji.

"Fushiguro-san is this the one emitting all of that curse energy or have you found the target set by Kenjaku." Shaking his head no Uraume lands next to him.

"Good make sure to preserve the body him and that girl and I froze earlier would pair well together, much better than that old man in the crumbling house." Still looking nonchalantly just stands there.

A knot formed in his throat clearing the anger he just felt, praying to whoever will listen that Saya made it back he couldn't lose her to. "Did she have glasses and pink hair?" he ask lowly

Uraume looks at him. "Did you say som...?"

"Pink hair and glasses, did she have them."

"Hmm, I believe she did; slow little thing to it rather easy to freeze her."

Tears drying fully, the only emotion flowing through Ryu at this moment was pure unbridled rage.

"I see." Letting lose a breath he didn't realize he was holding he didn't care anymore.

Nothing mattered.

Both his hearts were taken and kilt by strangers.

He spoke to his soul not caring for the consequences

"(Take it)"

"(Take it all)"

"I don't care anymore."

Making a binding vow with himself Ryu asked for all the power necessary to kill the two people in front of him. The vow was accepted without hesitation.

"Please give me everything"

The world howled at tremendous levels of curse energy Ryu produced, spreading outward from Gifu Prefecture every curse and curse user from Kyoto to Japan felt his curse energy. Making this vow gave him access to all of his curse energy and almost every technique available in Boundless.

"Tsk, that's a problem it's going to attract to many eyes we have to deal with this soon. Where's the brat's cousin."

"Frozen like the rest of them." That wasn't Toji's problem he was already paid and one less person to protect, his image would remain unbroken

Shoving the Soul splitting sword back into the inventory curse swapping it for the inverted spear of heaven. "(His technique allows for him to phase through anything then I have the best weapon, Ha this brat is stronger than I thought. Nothing I can't handle)"

The world paused, then he moved. Appearing in front of Uraume, Ryu lashes out with Slumbering Wrath, Uraume forms an Ice wall to block his attack, Slumbering Wrath phases through and strikes the monk in the temple knocking them away. Skidding on the ground the monk is eventually able to pick themselves up, Uraume looks baffled sending an annoyed look to Toji.

"Next time please mention his technique before he can engage us that cou … CRACK." Ryu flashes behind Uraume and slams their head in to the ground causing web like cracks to form. Lightning began to spark uncontrollably over his arm and hand, plunging his hand into the Uraume's spine he severs it. Getting a pain grunt as a response Ryu spun to face Toji.

"Next."

Chucking Toji readied himself. "Fucking Monster."

Closing in on Toji he expected to phase through that weird looking dagger, he didn't his Bo Staff was caught on the blade allowing Toji to take advantage of his technique canceling. Ryu shifts his body protecting his vitals getting stab in the right shoulder Ryu technique broke.

Toji began his assault.

A flurry of punches answered Ryu hitting liver, moving on to brutalize his kidney, stomach, eyes and heart over and over again. Finishing his assault Toji pulls the Inverted spear out while kicking him towards the wall of ice. Landing against the wall Ryu feels a sharp piercing pain in his stomach, arm, and legs; looking down he sees spikes of ice protruding from each area.

Hearing someone clapping he looks right and sees the monk back moving again. "(I SEVERED THAT DAMN MONKS SPINE!)"

"That was close, thank Sukuna-sama for reversed curse technique." Uraume smiles. "To bad you can't do so." The monk says in a sarcastic tone.

Pushing himself off the wall slumbering wrath rattles on the ground. Ryu is no longer awake, just moving based off his desire alone his only desire being to kill the two in front of him! His birth mark on the left stopped glowing being replaced by the right one glowing an ominous black.

Ryu's body now had black lightning dance off of it. Reaching his hand forward a Katana made of black lighting formed, snatching out of the air he rushes in like a ravenous beast. Getting in front of Toji he swings the sword diagonally aim to slash Toji across his torso, Toji moves the inverted spear to counter.

"Black flash" a flash of black and red fills Toji's vision, he wasn't sure what happened he was sure the technique canceled. Blasting away through the ice he recalls the exchange. "(I was sure the technique canceled.)" Realization hit a second later. "(It did but he canceled it before it could make contact with The Inverted Spear of Heaven. This kid really is a monster.)" Landing in a heap, Toji gets up and throws up a bit blood, the only saving grace he sliced just under his inventory curse.

Uraume was no longer enjoying this day, the sole reason for it was due to this brat Toji was playing with, and now he's improved even when unconscious his movements are becoming more honed. The flexibility of his curse technique is broadening. Rocked into the air the monk spins and activates their tech Frost calm blowing a freezing mist at Ryu. The second it hits the frozen mist melts in less the second causing an explosion from the two polar temperatures coming into contact, the explosion destroyed the entire ring of ice surrounding them and blowing Uraume back by Toji.

Readjusting midair to land properly while not making eye contact with Toji, Uraume speaks. "We need to put this thing down now, why didn't the inverted spear of heaven work."

Ignoring the question Toji forces himself up after feeling the effects of a lightning based black flash, his entire body was spasming. "I have a plan, my body is a bit numb, but we can't overthink this .We both attack together his curse energy is depleting rapidly than once an opening shows itself, either one of else will be able to land a crippling blow at this rate being able stop his movement. The Inverted Spear of Heaven will do the rest."

Ryu walks through the dust cloud caused by the explosion, they can see a dome of black lightning sparking around him. Uraume glances at Toji. "I'm going to kill you after this, prepare yourself we move now."

The two of them engaged Toji lead the charge he brings down the inverted spear, trying to cancel Ryu's technique. Trying to connect with Ryu's neck Toji moved a full speed.

Spinning to the outside of his Toji reach, Ryu connects another black flash to his chin via a jab.

Not wanting to give him time to act Uraume moved in the moment Toji was jabbed away. Extending an ice spear he stabs at Ryu calves, lifting the leg he phases through the attack, Ryu hits Uraume with a back side kick to the chest "Black Flash". Flying into the distance Uraume only hears ring until Toji catches them.

Spasming from the shocking black flash "Can you still move?" Nodding to Toji's answer they moved in again with some success they engage once again.

Toji appears to the side of Ryu, he turns to defend himself. Having passed the Inverted Spear to Uraume the monk stabs Ryu in the back but it's too shallow, it falls. Using this moment they both attack Toji swinging a punch to his head at full power, Uraume for a sharp jagged ice sickle to the back of his heart.

Clapping his hands together he wraps both middle fingers around the back of his index finger on each hand, his ring fingers cross each other x shape behind in of his pinkies. Throwing the Inventory curse just in time, Toji is not swept up in the domain

"Domain Expansion: Ring of the Outer Nucleus"

Seeing Ryu capture Uraume, Toji smirks picking up the Inverted spear of heaven and rushes the domain shattering the domain before it can attack.

Seeing them both fall Toji yell's "URAUME" hearing their name the monk grabs the inventory curse and forms a 6ft jagged sickle throwing it to Toji. Catching it he continues on his path to the falling Hajime. ."(Good he expanded basically all of his curse energy it was probably his first time using a domain as well.)"

Instincts raging Ryu summons Slumbering Wrath to his hands, already reaching the requirements of charging, Slumber Wrath broke into a 5 section bow each section connected by blue and black lightning awakening for the first time.

Pulling on the line of lightning acting as the bow string, a lightning arrow the size of a rocket formed.

Reacting faster Toji throws the sickle

Landing in the left side of Ryu's chest his heart was pierced before he could fully firing. Body falling limp the lightning arrow falls, destroying everything in a in a 100 meter radius. Getting blasted back Ryu goes flying away.

Both Uraume and Toji fled the moment Ryu's arrow began its descent. The arrow hit expanding in a dome of white light obliterating everything the dome touched.

Moving Toji smirks "(Hajime Ryu, I'll remember this name the only time I've worried about my life during a contract.)"

A completely different expression was on Uraume's face one of hate. "(Hate all of it, Hajime Ryu all of my hate is for you.)"

Making it far enough away from the blast they stop, Toji puts his hand out towards Uraume. "I'll take that back" receiving his Inventory curse back he turns to leave. Seeing this Uraume questions him.

"Fushiguro-san where are you going we still need to subdue the curse Kenjaku tracked here." The monk frowns

Not turning around he responds. "There's no point, the amount of curse energy the brat emitted would have attracted some type attention. Whatever curse it was would have fled as well due to that output if it was here it would've attacked us during the battle, and I said I would subdue it if I found it on my way to my target. Crashing in front of a cave entrance Ryu's burned form tumbled until just landing inside of the cave. Heavy footsteps approach the unconscious body of Hajime Ryu, his arm is tugged twice by something unseen in the cave.

With more force he is finally pulled in disappearing into the cave.

Unknown amount time later

Gasping a wake Ryu finds himself in a strange place taking in his surroundings, he sees only darkness ahead of him turning hope swells with in as he sees light in the opposite. Moving towards the light Ryu struggles to keep himself up, he falls with his forehead kissing the ground.

"(I want you to live a happy life.)" He lifts his head to look at the light.

"(Make sure you eat your vegetables.)" Shaking his head determination fills him

"(Travel the world and make plenty of friends.)" Picking himself up he continues on.

"(Kaa-san I promise, but I can't be happy tills those two are dead. So please be patient with me.)"

Smiling sadly he balls his fist "I'll see you two soon" The spectral form of his mother and Saya grabs his arms and pull him forward not allowing him to succumb to his grief.

Finally reaching the source of light he is shocked to see a melting purple lightning shaped gem the size of a torso floating in front of him. Reaching out he's about to touch it, until he sees a blue dragon shaped gem begin to form next to the melting lightning gem.

Hearing heavy steps to his let Ryu spins, coming eye to eye with a humongous curse, a blue scaled serpentine dragon. Two whiskers flowing above its nose, four black horned spikes along its snot two for each side. Eyes a vibrant green with two more black horns jutting from the back of its head.

Jumping back Ryu tries to activate his technique, but fails to do so.

Seeing him stress the dragon introduces himself. "No need to worry Ryu-sama, I mean you no harm I am ensuring the healing process can begin."

"(Healing process…. wait did this curse just speak)" still on guard Ryu doesn't relax, responding before anything can happens the dragon curse lays down.

"Yes, Ryu-sama I can speak and the healing process has begun. You are physically injured beyond normal repair from your battle. As well as the binding vow you made with yourself, resulting in burning through your soul has left you on deaths door," The dragon motions to the two gems. "The healing will only slow the process till your soul fades away."

Confused Ryu responds. "You can hear my thoughts and my body is fine I have no injuries anymore."

Shaking their head. "Yes in hear it is hard to block your thoughts I will show you eventually. Also no you are injured, we are within your soulcape. Severely injured in here no, but weakened you are I can see you struggling to even move. The only option for your recovery is to heal your soul with a part of mine before it destroys itself."

"Why would you even want to help me, you're a curse and I am a jujutsu sorcerer it doesn't make sense." He moves closer to the dragon.

"I thought the exact same thing when your grandfather allowed me to live in this area, at the time I was severely injured he could have easily kilt me then and there but he didn't. He claimed I had the look of a good being in my eyes and sparred me." Standing the dragon moves closer to Ryu.

"He would visit me from time to time to just talk, he was very excited about your birth even asking me once he dies if I would help protect you. Giving my word there was no need for a binding vow, seeing you land outside I knew it was time to up hold my promise."

Now face to face with each other the dragon ask his final question. "What do you choose to die here or live?"

Hitting his fist against his open palm. "I want to live."

"Good your grandfather would be proud to see you like this, you can call me Mizuchi. "

Mizuchi's soul began to flicker eventually changing color to match Ryu's soul they were now both purple. The two gems grew in size, while changing their positioning the dragon wraps itself around the lightning in a protective manner with its teeth showing and claw extended outward waiting for action.

"This process will take some time, and there is no need to worry about your physical body I will be protecting it till you awaken. I have already moved our location, there should be no interruptions in this process. If you need me all you have do is think and I will be there."

Nodding in understanding he sit's crossing his legs together, and begins to wait for the process to be finished.

Arriving at Kenjaku's location Uraume enters a cabin, seeing Kenjaku sitting while writing something down. Uraume joins them in at the table. "I was unable to locate the dragon curse you were looking for, we ran into heavy resistance in the form of a Hajime Ryu he proved more difficult to put down."

Looking up Kenjaku tilts their head to the left. "Did he" gaining a sly smile "it's to be expected of a descendant of Kashimo especially if he inherited his technique."

"I believe he did, but a more advance version of it, he had the ability to phase through anything coming into contact with his technique. He also had a different form of lightning, it was black in seemed more in tuned for violence."

"Hahaha, it seems even with a life as long as mine that there is still is a chance to get surprised." Moving his head to rest on his hand. "No worries are plan will proceed without that curse. Did you inform the Time Vessel Association of the existence of a new star plasma Vessel. Nodding in response to Kenjaku's question.

"Good, in a year and half the next step will come to fruition."

6 Months Later Jujutsu High, Tokyo 12:00 pm

Walking into his classroom Geto Suguru spots his two other classmates sitting at their desk. Shoko Ieiri was sitting closest to the window her hair brown cut into a bob that reaches her chin, she was wearing the typical jujutsu jacket and a pair of shorts to match with a pair of brown loafer. To the far left of her was Gojo Satoru the strongest, white spiky hair and blue glasses, he was also in a basic long a sleeve jujutsu shirt and pants with black sneakers.

Fully entering the room he waves to both of them "Yo Satoru Yo Ieiri, seems you both beat me here" he finishes while taking a seat directly in between them. Gojo looks directly to Geto and pokes him in the face.

"Suguru have you heard the high ups still don't know what could have caused that huge output we all felt six months ago" he says as he continues to poke Geto in the face.

Pushing the finger out of his face he pokes Gojo in the face and smirks "Yeah I did hear some of the rumors floating, whatever it was we know one thing for certain it's clearly special grade something we may have struggled with." He finishes while taking away his finger.

Gojo not believing what he heard his best friend say go into his face" You don't believe that do you, no way some curse could beat me I'm the strongest." Pointing his thumb in to his chest to bring his statement home.

Shoko seeing a moment to poke fun at Gojo chimes in "That doesn't mean you aren't weaker then it, that was one of the largest curse outputs in history growing so large that Kyoto to here felt it."

Standing Gojo gags "No matter what the output was it won't get pass my infinity anyway for I am the …."

Not being able to finish due to the door slamming open and grabbing all of their attention their sensei Yaga Masamichi enters. He is a tall tan skin with a muscular man who had thick eye brows and a look with a two bar design wrapping around his head, he was wearing a fully zipped track jacket in black with pants and shoes to match.

Seeing his student out of his seat he grinned "Good to see you so excited Satoru, guess I don't have taken my time with this one." Moving to the front of the class he took out a letter and reads it to his students.

"Following the curse energy spike felt six months ago a team was sent to investigate the Gifu Prefecture, more specifically a seclude village or what was left of it. Majority of what was left of the village was frozen, the rest was obliterated by a curse technique. We found traces of two different curse users being involved as well as a third party."

Folding the sheet and pocket it. "The higher-ups believe this curse or curse user to be dead, considering the complete drop of curse energy. I don't believe it, regardless this has cause a lot of work for you three. Due to that output we have seen an increase these last six months I curse forming or heading to the areas blanketed in curse energy, aka the area expanding from Kyoto to Tokyo." Moving from behind the podium he stands in front of them.

"Prepare yourself, this was predicted to last for maximum eight months to a year."

"Yes, just annoyed were going to be stretching ourselves even more trying to cover." He nods then sighs in annoyance.

"You worry too much, we'll be fine after all..." Geto cuts him off

"You're the strongest Satoru you just told us."

Smiling Gojo puts a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah I am, but with the both of us were unstoppable." Seeing Shoko's blank look "You to Shoko ehhaha."

Shocked by Gojo statement he smirks at his best friend. "Your right, Satoru we are."

Letting his students have their moment Yaga decides they helped each other enough. "You all have a mission now, after the debriefing you will head directly there."
